These stories are a development from the stories by rwxxx13with the group title "Study bg3-17." He has approved my continuation with his characters as individuals. Happy Birthday, Sweet Fourteen by Larry Marian Eighth grader Dormies Holly McCoy and Kim Su Yung were collectively known as "the Odd Couple," even by their counselors, sophomores Paige Jefferson and Mason Adams. Holly was a third year Jones student who had lived with her grandparents her sixth grade year and then went into the brand new dorm as a seventh grader and returned as an eighth grader at 13. She was a stereotype Irish girl with bright red hair and freckles all over her face and on her 34B breasts. Her pubic hair was red and she hardly trimmed it at all, At 13 she stood 5' 7" in her shower slippers. Kim Su Yung arrived from Munsan, South Korea to start his eighth grade year. His hair was straight and black and he stood 5'4", so just a bit taller than his counselor, Paige. He was muscular, but not outlandishly so. In the beginning his English was slightly broken, but he learned quickly, aided in part by Paige. Every Wednesday they put the mats down in the gym and practiced Tae Kwon Doe which brought out at least a hundred spectators. Their very first match they fought nude, but after that, they both figured that some padding might be nice. They fought under tournament rules and each seemed to win half the matches. Holly's seventh grade room mate did not return to Jones. Rumor was he was asked not to come back as he gained a bad reputation and Holly complained many times about his refusal to help with the room chores. It took a long talk with Mason to get him to do minimal room keeping. So Holly liked very much how quickly Su pitched in and showed so much eagerness to become fluent in English. This went from liking his attitude to liking him and he her. At the end of the first month, they were holding hands walking to class or to the caf, or the library, or outside on the lawn. In the middle of October they were caught by their English teacher in a nook behind the gym, kissing franticly, a violation of the strict PDA rules. "Why in the world didn't you two young lovers go to your room with permission to shut the door? Or check out a PR?" Mr. Maring roared at them and gave them an hour of detention each. Both wore with pride their V necklace. Sometimes they'd switch and Holly wore Su's Vb pendant and he'd wear her Vg one. But they checked out a PR once a week and got permission to close their room door for an hour every other day. It took a bit for Paige and Mason to figure out that Holly asked Paige on even days and Su asked Mason on odd days. That bought off limits to a PR or a room door closure for a week. This brought Holly and Su to the counselor's apartment the Sunday afternoon of that week, Paige and Mason were busy changing diapers for JM and Surprise, or as he pronounced his now official nick name, "Supeyes." "Puh!" Su said as the Odd Couple entered. "This smells like a rice paddy in August!" "You're getting to American, Su," Paige said. "My dad has some war stories about Korea in the summer. What do you two want?" "Paige, you know Su and I are virgins. Now he's turning fourteen in two weeks, and I will in late May. We swore to each other we will stay this way until both of us turn fourteen. But we're both afraid if we are banned from being alone together except at night, we might break down and discard our necklaces. We swear that if we can have private time again, we will both be virgins on the morning I turn fourteen." "Paige and Mason, I will burn incense to confirm that oath. All of us know you love each other just like Holly and I love each other. We don't want to break the `Not before Fourteen' oath, but we're really afraid that some night with our door shut and the lights out, we will. And we don't want to. And we bet you two didn't wait," Mason and Paige looked at each other as they carefully folded the filthy diapers and dropped them into the closed pail and then laughed. "You two don't know about how and we stopped being virgins?" Paige asked. The Odd Couple shook their heads. "Well, sit down and let us tell you a story. Mason?" "You both know Jenna, right? and Sammie?" "Sure. They're here all the time it seems. And Sam," Holly said, "You know about the Experiments?" Mason continued. "Yes. A little," Su said. "Well, that's how the three of us met. We were all 12, with Jenna almost 13, me in the middle, and Paige having turned 12 a few months earlier. Well, Paige and I fell in love then - we didn't realize it until Jenna explained it to us, but we were. To gain enough points to leave the experiment, Paige and I gave each other our virginity." "You were both 12? But Wait until Fourteen...." Holly said. "Yep. As Ms. Anderson told me, `you have to crack eggs to make an omelet.'" Paige replied. But after that - I mean right after that, she and Mason made love and Jenna was no longer a virgin either. We both wish it could have happened in a different way. But it didn't and we're still together. " "And it really should be called the Paige Method and not the Mason Method," Mason said. Mason looked deeply at Paige and she nodded. He pointed at her. "Okay, kids. "We'll okay your request with the stipulation that you will not have vaginal intercourse in any way, shape, or form until Holly is fourteen. Mutual masturbation is fine." "We've never done that. We've done other stuff,"Su said. "I'm sure you have," Mason said. "We don't want to know what unless you have some desire to talk to us about it. Holly began to turn red. "Paige. Uh, I'm not sure I'm doing the blow job thing the right way. Can you give me some tips?" Paige grinned. "Sure. Come see me later - alone. I'll kick Mason out to go ride herd on JM and Surprise. So go down to your room, shut the door and maybe I'll see you in an hour." "Thanks," Su said. "Mom and Dad." "Yes, folks, thanks," Holly said. * * * * * * * * In some ways lunch was the big meal of the day. Not because it was the heaviest, but because all Jones students ate lunch at Jones, so both dormies and townies had time to socialize. Sometimes a townie would invite a dormie friend to spend the weekend. On occasion that caused confusion when the townie was one sex and the friend the other. So it was the first time Holly invited Su to spend the weekend at her grandparents. She told them Su was Korean, but not that he was a boy. Their surprise ended when Grandpa reminded Grandma about their three days at Woodstock when they were seventeen and they slept together in a pup tent. The Monday after Su and Holly pleaded with "MomandDad," Paige sat close to where Su and Holly sat with several friends from all three middle school grades. She was actually sort of spying on Georges, checking on his progress of redemption. "In my country a girl's virginity is very important. My brother Francois now has three concubines. Two are at our home but one is on a special, secret assignment..." "Wait a second. Concubines. That's out of the Bible or Arabian Nights or stuff. They don't have concubines any more. And they're prostitutes, anyway." Paige bit her tongue and waited. "No. It's hard to explain. Look, my brother has a girl betrothed to him. But she's not old enough to marry. So when she's eighteen they'll get married. But anyway, well, I don't remember his first concubine's first night, but I do the other two and in the morning the wedding sheet hung on hooks on a wall to display the blood to prove they were virgins. That will happen with his wives. It will happen with mine." "So you have some eight year old waiting to marry you, Georges?" a boy whose voice Paige didn't recognize asked. "Actually, she's ten. So she's only two years behind me. MaMa says we will wait until after college." "So are you suggesting when a girl gives up her virginity, we should hang a bloody sheet in the caf?" Holly asked. "They sure make it important. Why not?" Georges replied. "After all, if you and Su finally do it, you're going to take off your V, right?" "We will," Su said. "Yes," Holly said, almost in a whisper. "And we can pin our V necklaces to it." "So are you going to have a big party on your birthday, Holly?" Again, Paige didn't recognize the voice. "First, Su gets a party. After all, he's never seen an American birthday party," Holly said. Paige got up. "This will be the first two birthdays during the school year for turning fourteen. Yes. We will have two parties. You can bet on it! By the way, Georges is correct. I've seen the bloody sheet once and Monique was very proud. " "I bet I know who the first...." "Shut your mouth Bobby or you'll never have a weekend at my house again," and Paige knew that was Pricilla. She smiled. Pricilla was an old eighth grader because of when she was born and Bobby was a sophomore. who sometimes crashed middle school lunch as he had a study hall then, Neither wore a V. Paige finished her lunch quickly, got up, and moved to the faculty/staff table to sit in a vacant seat next to the Dean of Boys. "Excuse me, sir. One of my 7/8s will turn 14 in two weeks. His girl friend and room mate won't until school is almost out. Mason and I have the funds to spring for a birthday party each if the school gives permission, We'd do it on the Saturday closest to the birthday, outside if the weather is good. Standard stuff, but maybe somebody could ask the kitchen for help? " "I think that's doable. Names? " "Su Kim and Holly McCoy, " "Ah, yes. Mr. Maring's passionate kissers behind the gym." He chuckled. "And, I am positive that they are going to `sleep together' that night. I'm fine with that. Mason is going to have a chat with Su and I will with Holly, but perhaps you and the DoGs can just talk to each of them about being careful and slow and loving? I mean, let's face it, Mason and I are a year older then they are if you just look at the numbers. " The dean chuckled, "Ms. Jefferson. I don't know how many times I've had one or the other of your male charges in my office. Almost every one has said something like `But Dad Mason, or just Dad, had me do this for that.' Almost every time I not only agreed with Mason, but I thought it a good idea. The DoG says the same thing about Mom Paige. But I take your point. They just don't realize how important this may be." "Thanks, sir. But you know, as much as I love Mason and as much I'm glad we did what we did, I still wish the setting was better." "Yeah, Well, there's the bell. Onward!" * * * * * * * * * Planning a surprise party in a dorm full of 12 and 13 year olds was difficult. Yet some quiet comments kept the usual suspects quiet> Paige and Mason wrestled with a slight problem. Su would turn fourteen on a Tuesday. So would the party be on the Sunday before or the Saturday after? Sunday before. He'd spent the weekend with Holly's grandparents six times over the year and Winter Break. What would they think of some 100 nude tweens and teens and several other adults? The answer, "Groovy, man. We're gonna wear our love beads and peace signs. Make love, not war!" That Sunday Holly finally got told. She rounded up two sophomore friends who'd been promising to teach she and Spades. So the four sat in the 7/8 Common Room, situated so Su's back was to the door as they began to learn Spades. When all was ready, Paige came in. "Su. I need your help. The police have been called, but there's a guy who says he has a bomb. He's out on the Lawn. We can take him out together, don't you think? " "Tournament rules?" "Not a chance." "Okay. Let's go."
"Go for broke!" as Paige led him to the door. Quietly they opened the door to the Lawn to see the back of a man in some military type garb, with a large package in his hands and another on the ground. There were lots of kids and some adults prone. Paige signaled Su to go to the left and she'd go right and they began to move silently towards the man with the packages. Suddenly the guy twirled around, his face masked. "You'll never catch me alive!" as he crushed the package in his hands and kicked the other. A bang and confetti was everywhere as everybody else jumped up and started singing "Happy birthday, Su Kim." Holly ran towards him. Paige held up her hand in the `quiet' signal. "Look, if you are over 18, I'm told you need to turn around. These two are probably going to kiss and seeing that might poke your eyes out." The adults acted responsibly and no vision was lost, even when Holly gave Su a hug fifteen minutes later. Then food began to appear and caf workers pointed out tables and chairs to bring to the Lawn and 7/8 began bringing them out. Then came the problem. Su had a surprise party. What about Holly? He had one, so shouldn't it be a surprise? But how could it be a surprise since she knew he had one? So. A party. But not a surprise, but it would be on her birthday, a Saturday evening. In addition, it would be a candlelight dinner in the dining hall, with tablecloths and the senior class string quartet playing during the meal. So it was. During the afternoon of the party the art department brought them into an art room and with watercolors and chalk dressed Su in a tux and Holly in a white pants suit. Her veil was real. This brought all kinds of comments when they appeared as the dinner was to start. Also surprising was the wait staff - freshmen and sophomores wearing an open white cotton jacket and nothing else. With all the formality, the dinner was meat loaf, mashed potatoes, and peas and carrots, with corn bread and chocolate cake, from the birthday cake for desert. Paige watched, and Su and Holly laughed and cried during the meal and the "Happy Birthday." Paige squeezed Mason's arm - a possible violation of the PDA rules - "I just hope they're ready," she breathed. "So do I," he responded as he reached under the tablecloth and squeezed her inner thigh, His phone tingled against his side and he got up and walked away and then returned with a grin. "Okay, Paige, get them to their room, It's ready." Paige got up and removed JM and Surprise from their high chairs to walk up to Su and Holly. "It's getting late and these two need to get to bed. But they want to lead you to your room. It's sort of practice for a flower girl and a ring bearer. I'll come with you." Su and Holly looked at each other and then got nudges from friends on either side. They got up, held hands and walked out with the twins in front and Paige behind, down the main hall, through the door to the walkway, into the vestibule of the dorn and then down the hall of 7/8/. On the door with the simple tags of McCoy (G/8) and Kim (B/8) were eight roses, four white and four red. Holly let out a cough as Su opened the door to their dorm room, lit by fourteen short candles in glass containers. Their two beds were pushed together in the center of their room, with a heart of small flowers on the cover. "OH!" Holly said and began to cry. Paige patted her on her shoulder. "It's okay, Holly." "I I I know. But... so wonderful. You did this.... Mom!" "No. Not just me. Mason, the DoG, the boys, you don't know." Paige kissed Holly on the cheek and Su on the forehead. "If this is the time, make it wonderful." With that she herded the twins out of the room and down the hall to their now separate cribs. Some minutes later Mason joined them for a bed time story and bed for the twins. When the two were asleep, Mason and Paige went back to the caf to see it restored for breakfast tomorrow and all the stuff ready to get trashed or recycled. The food service manager came out. "How did it go?" she asked, her sea island dialect still obvious. "I can't thank all of you enough," she said. "I don't have a skirt," and then dropped a curtsey without one. "You're welcome," came the reply. Holding hands, Paige and Mason hurried back to their apartment. A twin check and they were in bed. "Love me," Paige whispered into Mason's ear. "How could I not?" They did. The next morning 7/8 seemed to straggle in to breakfast, which seemed strange as Sunday was normally pancakes and link sausage. Paige, Mason, and the twins started to eat, the twins working on feeding themselves, when Su and Holly entered, Holly with a bundle. Su took it from her as Georges and Mark climbed up on chairs against the far wall. A thud of nails and a sheet hung on the wall with a dark red/brown spot and two V pendants on either side. Slowly 7/8 began to rise and clap. As the clapping died down, Holly said, " Boys and girls. It's worth waiting for. Just make sure you have somebody like Su." "And make sure you have somebody like Holly." A camoflagued voice came out,"Make sure you have two like Dad and Mom Mason and Paige." The clapping continued for several minutes, Dear Reader, When I started "After the Experiment" I did not plan to have more than between three to five more stories. Like Topsy, this has grown. With growth came a few errors. For example, we have the line from the Teen Swim Party "... ranging from a bald, flat 11 year old..." when the invitation clearly states that the mandated ages are 12 to 17 so this line should read "... ranging from a bald, flat one who looked 11 . . ." Feel free to point out other errors. If I were to ever find a paper publisher, such errors will be corrected. Thanks. If you liked this part of "After the Experiment" or any of the other Paige-Mason-Jenna stories, please consider a donation to Nifty. Comments, pro or con to the author are always appreciated.
