The tension is becoming even stronger in that area." Timothy took his mouth off the now dripping area of tension. Timothy looked very intensely and seriously at Jeremy. "Of course, it is taking even more tension from other parts of the body. It needs to build and build. I guarantee that there will be massive release of tension very shortly." His mouth went back to its work. Minutes later, moaning and starting to feel his body go rigid, "Oh Doctor you are correct it is happening." His body went rigid and there was a massive release. Jeremy was breathing hard. His body literally collapsed on the bed. He looked at this amazing man. "Now I must help you." "No you see, I know what I am doing. While I was giving you your treatment. I was treating myself." He backed off the bed. Timothy's left hand was moving rapidly and hard over his own area of tension and he suddenly moaned and there was yet another massive release of tension all over Jeremy's body. There were tears in Jeremy's eyes but laughter as well. He had never had an experience like this. In fact, his body felt like a wilted flower. He could only manage to grab his lover and pull him to himself and kiss him. "Doctor Malenfant, you are exactly what the doctor ordered for my tension and ... for my life. They cuddled until sleep came. Present Jeremy woke early the next morning. He looked at his guy. He was still asleep, the sheet only covering part of his chest. His hair was askew from sleep. He looked so innocent and handsome. Handsome yes, innocent, my god, yet again, this man had done the most amazing things to him last night. No, not innocent. It might had been that look that his father had had to leave behind as he met his bright, determined son. His movement must have wakened Timothy as his breathing changed and his eyes slowly opened. He turned his head. "You like what you see?" Jeremy threw back the sheets to reveal Timothy's magnificent, naked body. "Even more now but yes very much." He moved over and kissed him. "Sorry but I have to be up and out. You know my plan." "A quickie?" With mischief in his smile, "I have to be tough. Delayed you know what." He could tell that Timothy was only partially serious. He was soon walking into an empty office. He didn't want to go through Paula's desk so he put his briefcase in his office and then he took the file with the documents and went to get another coffee. As he returned to their area, he heard activity at Paula's desk. They passed pleasantries. "So any great conclusions on the file." "Yeah some that I don't like and I may need your help." She looked at him asking for more information. "I would like you to look at my documents and tell me what you see." Paula took them and started to leaf through them. She looked up at him. "If I remember correctly there are pages with statistics and fairly large sections missing. Did you lose them?' "This is exactly what I was given by William." She looked at him without saying a word but her face said a lot. "I have the masters. I'll make you a full copy and have it ready by 8:15 or earlier." "Paula I am going to keep these that I was given. I am going to send you an email asking for you to photocopy the file for me saying that there appears to be pages missing and that you and I have seen the copies I was given by William. Would you please reply to my email saying that I was correct and that you are going to give a completely new set of documents. Please not a word of this to anyone. I am going to deal with it in my own way but I want an electronic trail just in case." Almost formally, except for a hint of a smile, "Sounds like the correct and wise procedure to me." Minutes later he had his return email which was even more detailed than he had asked for. He picked up his copies. "I can't thank you enough. Lunch on me at a place you choose when you want to do it. Perhaps we should let this settle first. Thanks so much. " Very quietly but with clenched teeth, "Trim his ears and his ego. We will all be thankful." Jeremy had been correct. William was a tension in the office. He smiled and shivered a bit as he remembered his 'treatment' for tension last night. That word would never be the same for him. He quickly looked over the documents. He could see that he had been badly sabotaged. He knew this kind of guy. He would lie. He would say that Jeremy had lost them and would play the wronged person. Hopefully his own humiliation would only last a day or so. He had to make certain that he navigated the waters successfully today. Keep quiet, listen carefully and fall back on the new guy persona. Only Peter knew his history. He would play it by ear. Heather came into his office. "So Jeremy did you find anything startling in the documents." "You know, I often need to get a feel for a case. I am sort of drawing blanks. I was hoping that the team together would come up with some insights that might help me. I have never worked on anything like this before. You guys have the experience, not me." He hoped that that was not a bad explanation and if she bought it, he would modify it and expand it at the meeting. She looked at him. Oh shit, was she not buying his little story? "Jeremy, funny you should say that. I feel that way about a lot of cases when I first see them. Same here for me, for this one. " He mentally breathed a sigh of relief. She accepted it. "I am going to give it another quick glance before the meeting. See you then." Yeah right, a first glance was more like it. He spent the next 30 minutes going over the documents. There were obvious places to start and he listed some of them and the reasons why he would look there. There didn't seem to be any reason given for a forensic audit to be started. Very strange. Why did they want a forensic audit? Someone must want something looked at. Perhaps Peter knew or that someone should contact the CEO of the company for at least a clue. This was like searching for a needle in a haystack. He saw people moving towards the conference room. Quickly, he picked up his documents and his notes and took a seat as far away from the Chair's seat as he could. He managed to get a place beside Heather who had made the same choice as he had. Kenneth came in and took the seat beside him. David and Peter came in; Peter took the head of the table. William had followed them in and sat on the other side of Peter. David looked around. "I have read the documents. This is going to be an interesting case. I can only stay for a couple of minutes as there is a client coming in to see me. I want to welcome the newcomer to our little group. I am sure that you have all met Jeremy. He was given his CPA accreditation last Friday and wanted to start as soon as he could. I am told that he worked very well at his previous firm and we are glad to have him here with us. Jeremy welcome and I am sure that you will be a good addition to our team." David came around the table and shook his hand. There were welcomes from around the room. There was a unidentifiable look on William's face. Jeremy was looking forward to dealing with that. At least, he hoped that he could. David left and Peter took over the meeting. He gave some background to the case and the time lines that they faced, most of them were their own time lines. He made some comments on how he thought that they should start, suggesting that they might want break up into teams at some point. Jeremy looked at Heather and she nodded yes. William spoke up saying that he and Kenneth worked well together. Heather spoke up and said that she would work with Jeremy. There was little smirk on William's face. Jeremy said to himself yet again that he wanted to wipe it off William's face but he must to not let himself try too hard, too soon. Peter asked for comments on the case. He turned to Heather first. She made some of the comments that she had made to Jeremy and then did make some specific references to things that she had seen in the documents. Jeremy was impressed. Kenneth followed and again, Jeremy felt that it was a good start for him. Finally, William spoke up and gave a detailed resume of what he had seen. It wasn't bad but he seemed to be taking an easy way out with not a huge amount of insight. William ended and then looked around the table. "Jeremy, you are a fresh face, did you see anything interesting?" "Well, I am just new at this so I don't think that my comments are going to help much. I am not getting a really good feel for the case so far." William smirked. "As a newbie to this, I want to look in more detail at the following departments for the following reasons." It was pretty generic but it sounded good and it was a logical thing to do. "I also cannot find anywhere why this audit was commissioned. I feel as if I am looking for a needle in a haystack. If we knew what they were worried about, then we might be able to focus on that. Peter, does anyone know the answer to that?" "Jeremy, good question. This was sent by the CFO to Mr. Milner." "Perhaps the Boss could talk to J .... " He coughed and put his hand over his mouth. He made a face and continued. "Sorry, a little tickle in my throat... talk to the Boss and Mr. Milner and if there is no answer, then someone should contact the CFO directly." Peter smiled slightly, "I'll look into that. Thanks to all of you for your comments. A meeting tomorrow at the same time. Perhaps you could meet as small teams during the day. We do need to meet the time lines." William did not look happy. Jeremy figured that his plan was working. He had not come off as a total idiot. He would work the morning with the full documents and then go to lunch. Peter walked by him and whispered, "Newby, my comments won't help much. Nice job Jeremy. Good start actually. I'll get on the CFO question quickly." Quietly, Jeremy, "Thanks for handling it the way you did. Almost goofed. Have to remember that there is no Jamie in this office for me." Jeremy had decided on several things during the meeting. He would put a password on his computer. No one was going to get into his computer. He would leave the password with his lawyer so that if there was an emergency that was where they could find it quickly. He would always leave his documentation and notes in the safe or take them with him. Errant thoughts of a hidden camera made him smile, not his style. He would be a little more direct, hands on so to speak. By 11:45, he had been over the documentation and he packed up ready to leave. He didn't have a lot of written documentation so he left paper on his desk with a pen which he dropped on them. He took a picture of his desk with his phone. He would be able to compare the picture to his desk on his return. He closed down his computer with his new password installed. He hadn't put much in but he wanted to get used to always closing it down. Timothy and David had meetings that were going to last over his lunch hour so he went by Heather's office. "Hey, partner, want some lunch? I was going for a soup and a sandwich. Know any good places?" "Great idea. You are the first person in the office to include me in lunch plans. I would love to go." They entered a small bistro that he knew well. He was greeted by the owner by name. "Jeremy, long time. How are you doing?" "Working at The Accountants, my first day. Well second but who is counting." He shook his head in a 'no' trying to have him say nothing about his past work there. "This is one of my new colleagues, Heather." Heather didn't say a word about his welcome. They ordered and drank some really good cappuccino as they waited for their food. "So Heather, interests hobbies, personal life. Your choice." "I am going out with a guy, Robert, who I knew in university and we met again a few months ago at a party. It has helped with some of the disappointment at work." Jeremy used his silence with a questioning look. "I haven't exactly felt welcome at the office and it is mostly because of you know who." "You know, I think that we should work on that together. No details but he has rubbed me the wrong way twice over the two days that I have been here." "OK, on the other topic. I saw the picture on your desk. I assume that he is not your brother. You both look radiant in that picture." "Yes, it was taken at his parent's chalet after a wonderful weekend we had with his sister, her husband, their 8 month old son and my best friend from university and his wife. Timothy is my partner, the love of my life. There I have said it." "You look so happy and content in that picture. A handsome couple. I hope that it works that way with Robert. We should all get together some time." Jeremy nodded yes. Their food arrived and it was as good as Jeremy remembered. They chatted about this and that and he had a really good lunch with a smart, interesting colleague. Finally, he commented that they should get back to work. He wanted a couple of hours with his documents and then he suggested a time with Heather to plan for the meeting tomorrow. He took one look at his desk and knew immediately that someone had been through his papers. His computer was open at the password screen. He smiled to himself. He started reading the documentation again. By the time that he was to meet Heather, his desk and the floor had pages all over the place. Some with little comments in French; he had decided to make it more difficult for anyone who didn't speak French. He had some really interesting insights and he started his daily log. He sensed someone at his door. It was Peter smiling. Now laughing, he looked outside the office and quietly, "Welcome back Jeremy. I am so glad to see that you haven't changed. Have you made any progress?" "Some but I'll have to look harder. Any word?" "David looked at the file and went to see Mr. Milner. I understand that Mr. Milner and David have a conference call at 5:30 this afternoon with the CFO. The timing could be coincidental or could be meaningful." "I'll be off by then. Would you tell David that he can phone me at home if there is any news? I am taking my documents home. By the way, someone was through my papers and I found my computer log in screen open when I came back from lunch. I now have a password on my computer. My lawyer will have the password this evening if it is ever needed. I'll leave the name of my lawyer with Paula." Peter picked up the picture on Jeremy's desk. "I assume that if it is out on your desk that I can look?" Jeremy nodded of course. "Marvellous picture. Partner?" "Yep, the rock of my life. He is a lawyer." "So I assume that if I know his name then I shall know who to phone for your password? "Yes, Timothy Malenfant." He gave the name of the firm. "Impressive. One of the best law firms in town." With an impish smile, "Impressive in many ways." They both laughed. The meeting with Heather was really productive. They put together a presentation of what they would say at the morning meeting. Heather would start and they would alternate. Jeremy did warn her that he was taking home his documentation and would probably have even more the next day. They had a good session and there was trust building between them. About 4:35 his cell phone rang. "Good to hear your voice. Yeah I was correct. We fixed that before 8:15. Right, a total mess. Yeah I carried it off. I didn't come off as complete idiot at the meeting." He looked at Heather. He winked at her. "I have teamed up with steaming, hot brunette." He started to laugh. Heather was looking quite proud of herself and she had a big smile. "You are so correct. Yes she does possess those. If that turns one on, they are quite excellent." Heather was now laughing but red faced. "I think that we have embarrassed my colleague quite enough. You are so bad. See you at home by 5:30, 6 at the latest. Yeah, me too. Bye." "I have to meet him. You should see your face when you talk to him. He is a lucky guy." "No, I am the lucky one." "Exactly what I mean." "See you after 8 tomorrow. I have a bit of work to finish up. Thanks Heather, it has been a much better day than I expected. Thanks again." He finished up his daily log saved it and sent a copy to his private email address. A good bottle of wine, opened with two wine glasses beside it, was waiting for him when he entered home at 5:45. The smell of take out Thai food was in the air. But what he was really looking forward to was standing at the kitchen entrance with a smile on his face and an expectant look. They stepped into each other and kissed. "That completes what turned out to be a good day." He turned and saw the wine. "But I still need that and what I just had. So good to have a welcome like this. As they ate, they recounted their day to the other. Jeremy's mind would flash back to the days in March and April when he would sit here by himself wondering what he would do that night. What a great change to share with this vibrant, interesting guy! He warned Timothy that he had some work that he had to do. Timothy had brought some work home as well. He was planning his move to the new section and planning some of the things that he wanted to do when he took over. He also had to spend a few minutes on his latest court case. They both knew that this was OK and they would see each other later. David did phone him and recounted the meeting with the CFO and Jamie. He told him the reason for the audit and he quickly realized why it had to be kept as quiet as possible. However, it now gave him some ideas of where he should look for the needle. Later in the evening, Timothy heard a a very loud 'aha, I see you, you little bugger'. Timothy's quick retort was that he hoped that he wasn't talking about him. Jeremy chuckled telling him that he would explain after he finished. Jeremy came into the kitchen where Timothy was working on his laptop. He came up behind him putting his hands on his shoulders and letting them slip down to his chest as he leaned over to kiss his neck. Then his hands returned to the shoulders and he messaged them. Timothy groaned. "Oh that feels so good." He closed the file that he was working on and stood to embrace his guy. "Hope that you are finished. I have been sort of biding my time until you were done. From the look on your face, we need to pour some wine and sit and you can me about the bugger that you caught." "I am kind of excited. I think that I can see a way to look at the file in more detail in certain areas to try and identify the problems that they want looked at. My time with Michael has been so valuable. I used some of his ways of looking at the data and I think I have some leads. At least I don't have to go in tomorrow without the documentation." He stopped. "Did you like what I was doing to you in the kitchen. Good. But first tell me how your work went." He put his arms around Timothy and listened carefully to his plans. They were really interesting and noticed that he wasn't going to change anything quickly at the office. It was mostly going to be by example and he hoped that it would catch on. If not, he would work in other ways. Jeremy was impressed with how he was going to operate as manager of his division. Jeremy hoped that he himself could pull off some interesting things tomorrow at the office. Little did he realize how important a day it was going to be for him. He continued his release of tension on Timothy after Timothy had told him of his plans. Areas of tension found themselves in mouths, hands and for Jeremy in a very warm, tight, sensitive environment. It was not quite as exciting as the night before but both men slept the sleep of the contented after both had finished explosively. Jeremy walked into the office with a bit of a spring in his step. He felt that he had some good starting points and had put together a way of presenting them along with Heather. He did not want to eclipse her. She had a good mind and he wanted to keep her on his side and increase her stature in the office. At some point, he would have to tell of her his last name so that it would not come as a surprise to her. There had to be trust between them. He didn't care when or how William found out. Paula looked at him. "You look on top of things this morning young man, much more like the young fellow who we used to know." "Thanks Paula. It is certainly better to have my documentation and to know who to trust and who not to." "If I can say one thing?" He nodded yes. "You have made a wise choice." He looked at her to continue. "Heather is much underrated in this office. Let her shine and she won't let you down." "My plan exactly." He winked and left to find her. "Well, have you made any headway in the case?" She outlined some of her thoughts. They were good ones but Jeremy knew that they had to be a bit more precise. He outlined some of his insights that he had made the previous night. "Jeremy, you are brimming with energy and ideas. Too much coffee or you have made a lot of progress?" "Have to admit that I worked for a few hours last night and I am getting a feel for the case." He outlined more of his thoughts. Her eyes grew in size as he outlined his ideas. "Now we are a team. Can I suggest that you lead off this morning like this. Then I shall follow with this. Don't give too much away at the start. Let the others join in and see what they have come up with. Don't be surprised if I make some very definite statements as we discuss it. Be subtle with William. At first, let him feel that he is leading the group. Play it by ear." "Something tells me that I wouldn't want to be William today." "Why, maybe he has solved the case and we can all just follow his lead. I am the newby here." Heather's eyes narrowed and she shook her head. "Jeremy, you are planning something." "Who me? Come on, not possible. Oh, there are people moving into the conference room. I might just have some handouts for everyone. Paula has copied some things for me." He was the last to arrive and he took his seat beside Heather. It was like classes he took at university; everyone was seated exactly as yesterday. Peter started the day off as David was not attending this morning. "David had a long conversation with the CFO late yesterday afternoon. It is a good thing that we checked. There was a needle in the haystack." He didn't mention Jeremy's name but he looked directly at him. "This has to be kept strictly within these walls. No one can mention this to anyone." He went on to explain the situation and what they were looking for. He continued, "Now with that in mind has anyone come up with anything that we should discuss?" He paused, "William?" William looked at Peter. "Well I had some thoughts but they might not mean as much with this new information. He outlined his ideas still looking quite pleased with himself. He looked directly at Jeremy and Heather. Jeremy looked at Heather and she started as they had planned. She made a very good presentation. She looked at Jeremy. He said something quietly to her. He was going to keep to what he said that he would say but decided to change it a bit. "I found it strange that there was no obvious object for the audit so I suspected that there must be a problem that someone wanted to keep as quiet as possible. Perhaps this was why the CFO was so cautious. As a result, I asked myself what would make him do that. I came up with some tentative reasons." He outlined them generally. "Then using that line of reasoning, I looked at the following departments and did the following analysis." He winked at Heather as he stood and passed around the first of his handouts. Then using some technical analysis that he learned from Michael Burtchell, he outlined his take on the case in fairly general terms. He wanted the details to emerge over the meeting or the next days. His presentation sparked a round of debate and suggestions. It was during this session that both Heather and Jeremy put forth more details of their analysis. Jeremy went even a bit further than his discussion with Heather. It seemed to fit in well with the exchange of ideas. He saw the hidden smile on Peter's face. William said a few things but seemed lost in his own world. He did not look pleased. The newby had outgunned him. Just as the meeting was going to break up. Jeremy put in one last request. "Peter, I wonder if we could look at certain departments over the last few years and it might be interesting information to find out if there has been new personnel or changes in any of the major departments, from the top to middle management." "I'll talk that over with the boss." Looking at Jeremy, "Perhaps four years?" Jeremy nodded OK. As the room cleared, Peter came close, "You know that new guy routine won't last long after what you did this morning. You and Heather did a formidable job today. Heather looked at Jeremy, "Could we have a word in my office for a few minutes?" They went and got some coffee and they went in her office She closed the door. "OK, spill. You can stop the new boy routine with me. Who are you?" He smiled. "You ask the questions and I'll answer them. First, I did get my official certification last Friday." "Where did you place in your class at graduation." "In the top three, depending on the day." She gave him a look that asked for a definite answer. "OK, I was top in the class." "Where did you work and who did you work with this last year? "I worked at Michael Burtchell's firm and I worked on three forensic cases with Michael starting in late May until I came here on Monday." "You know Peter." "That was a statement." He smiled at her narrowed eyes. Chuckling, "OK, I worked here part time in The Accountants in the summer during university and got to know a lot of the accountants and I worked on cases with them but doing the grunt work. I learned a lot then and I did specialize in forensic accounting at university." "Part time?" "Yeah, I worked the other half on construction." He showed his muscles off. "I have been honest. Please don't tell the others at this point." "You mean William and Kenneth?" He nodded yes. "Anything else that I should know." Jeremy paused weighing his options. Was this the time? "OK, one last thing that you must not share. My last name is Marchese-Wilner." Shaking her head and closing his eyes briefly, "Oh, shit!" "Very unladylike but I like it. I could have stayed on with Michael but I chose to come back here, my home and I want to establish myself for what I can do, not who I am." "Thanks for being honest with me. Want to go for lunch and explain the last name? You are too old to be their son." "A story for another time. It is actually interesting. But someone is going into my office and going through my papers and trying to log onto my computer. I am going to stay this noon hour because I think that the person will try again. Unless it was you ... and I don't believe it was." Fifteen minutes into the lunch hour, William entered his office and went through his files and tried to log on to his computer. Jeremy quietly moved from his vantage point and stood at his door watching William try various passwords. "You won't figure out the password and only one other person knows it besides me. His picture is on the desk." William stood quickly and faced him. "William, this is the second or third time that you have been in here looking through my work and trying to log onto my computer. This is my office and you are not welcome in it without me being present." "I just wanted to see if you had made any progress." "Bull shit. Could have come and asked me. Don't come in here again without me. Don't ever try to give me documentation that is missing the most important information. In fact, I have told Paula that I shall only pick up material that she gives me and we shall check that it is complete." "It was just a little initiation." He tried to sound as if it was nothing out of the ordinary. "Oh, just like your homophobic comments to Kenneth that I heard from the hallway as I was about to go into the staff lounge my first day here." Pointing to the picture, "Yes that is my partner and I am one of them. And there seems to be too many of them around already." He paused. "Maybe time to leave my office now and perhaps at some time, we can connect on a more pleasant level. You don't want me as an enemy in this office." The rest of the day went well. He and Heather spent some really good time together in Jeremy's office where the documents were spread out in Jeremy chaos. They accomplished a lot; all of which went into Jeremy's daily log with comments on Heather's contribution. The kiss to Timothy when he arrived home was more than passionate. On the spot, Dr Malenfant offered some tension relief to his guy. It started right in the kitchen. Clothes were soon lying on the floor. They kissed. Tension filled objects found there way into moist mouths. With a look of love on his face, Timothy sat on a kitchen chair and invited Jeremy to sit on his lap. To his surprise, or so he said, his object of tension immediately ended up surrounded in a hot, tight tube. Jeremy's eyes were closed as he let the sensuous feelings spread through his body. Jeremy stopped Timothy moving and he leaned over and kissed him. As he kissed him, one hand started to caress Timothy's nipples and the other reached behind to finger his balls. Timothy reacted as Jeremy had hoped, loudly and then started to move again, hard and fast in and out of his lover. They stopped several times to touch, feel and kiss each other until Jeremy could not hold back any longer and he exploded all over Timothy's chest. Timothy followed with a very loud description of what was happening to him. Jeremy could feel the pulses and his change of rhythm as he finished. They had a a late supper dressed only in shorts with lots of herding by Jeremy. Jeremy did a bit more work on the case until Timothy came and closed off his computer and made him file his documents. For some reason, they didn't go to sleep immediately and it was Jeremy lying on the bed with legs over Timothy's back as they finished again. At some point, Jeremy told him his password and amazingly, Timothy remembered it the next morning at breakfast telling Jeremy that he was a good at multitasking. They had a good laugh remembering when Jeremy had told him the password and what they were doing at that precise moment. Incongruous would be a good description.
