Please ignore any problems you see. Previously Robert almost slammed into him. Lucas yelled out to go harder and faster. Robert obeyed him. Lucas was not exactly the quiet, long suffering partner. As Robert slammed into him, Lucas was moving fast and hard back against him as Robert slammed forward. Robert was so turned on he bit Lucas' shoulder. Lucas' reaction was to tell not to be a wimp but to bite him harder. Robert did and pinched a nipple hard for good measure. Robert knew that he was not going to last very long so he kept slamming until finally yelled out that he was going to fill him with his fucking cum and with one last slam into him, he did. He finished his orgasm and he pulled out turned Lucas around and deepthroated him. In less than a minute, Lucas yelled and he pushed in to Robert's mouth as far as he could and he fired seven full shots into the waiting mouth. Lucas pulled Robert up. "Kiss me you fucking, sexy, wild, beautiful man." They shared what was in Robert's mouth. There were tears in both their eyes. They may have had it easier in their lives than Thomas and Liam but in the last year, Lucas had worked so hard to finish his CPA certification. Lucas was assistant head of the forensic division. Robert had started an office and had managed to get a final working copy of his, their dream of four long years. Their relationship had grown and it was almost as if tonight they had celebrated all their challenges in a very physical and mental way. When their breathing became normal, they looked at each other. Lucas looked at his guy and smiled. "You really can be very dirty minded and your language was way over the top." "I can't even count the number of 'fucks' that you yelled out. You seemed to enjoy some of things that I did. By the way, your language wasn't much different than mine." "Oh, you were fucking amazing and I mean that figuratively and literally. I'll remember this night. We'll do a repeat some time when you least expect it." "Looking forward to it. I can still taste you. Surprise me sometime. " They kissed with passion and held each other tightly and fell asleep. Little did they know that a few kilometres away, a some what more restrained session had happened but those two felt closer and fell asleep as happy and contented as the two in the hotel. Present They woke the next morning holding each other tightly. Robert looked at Lucas. "Amazing last night." He started to laugh. "I had no idea that I could react like that. I think that we surprised each other. I wouldn't want to do that all the time but I'd be on the receiving end if the moment ever hits us again." "Robbie, I have said it many times. It just gets better." "I can feel something hard pressing against my side. Are up for it again? I know you are in one way." "Oh yeah. Both ways, physical and mental." Lucas raised his eyebrows. "We have time." "Bathroom first. Then, we could start and finish in the shower. I still feel a bit kinky." Robert looked and sounded enthusiastic. "Get that great butt out of bed. I suspect that mine is yours this morning." "OOHH, yeah!" They were clean and very satisfied when they turned up at their friends home at exactly 9:30. Thomas looked at his watch and laughed. "Exactly 9:30. Come in we have everything ready." Lucas looked at Robert and then Thomas. "Always on time. Yes, I have to live with him. Pretty easy most of the time." Lucas moved his head to the side looking at Thomas. "My wonderful second family has a way of greeting people they know." Thomas looked at him with raised eyebrows. Lucas smiled. "Best demonstrated. We call it a Marchese hug." Lucas moved towards Thomas and gave him a big masculine hug. Robert followed Lucas." "Teach it to Liam." They walked in to the kitchen. "Lucas just taught me their family greeting, a Marchese hug." It was Liam's turn to look bemused. Robert walked over to him and gave him the family hug. Then Lucas. "I like it. Great way to start the day." "Why do you call it the Marchese hug?" Robert spoke up. "I have a complicated family. My Grandfather is James Milner. He married Philip Marchese. The Marcheses are of Italian origin and they hug family and friends. My father is Jeremy Marchese-Milner. It is just handed down through the family and to many of our friends." "My lord, those are your grandparents and father; James Milner and Jeremy Marchese-Milner are so well known through their articles and speeches. Do you have any other surprises? Where does the Malenfant come from?" "My Papa is Timothy Malenfant married to Dad, Jeremy. My Papa is the senior partner in the largest law firm in our city." He raised his shoulder and tilted his head. "I know it all sounds as if I have an exceptional family. I guess I do but when you will meet them, you will find out that they are just regular people. Lucas found that out the first time he was at the chalet at Thanksgiving." Lucas nodded yes emphatically. Liam with a bit of smirk, "And when will we be meetng them?" Robert, "Ah, a topic for discussion over breakfast. I need coffee and somthing to eat. Can I place an order in this bistro?" Liam with a big smile. "Sure, you can order anything you want but you are going to have coffee, a mushroom omlette, sausages and potatoes like they serve at Mcdonalds, only better." "Call the potatoes, Roesti stlye potatoes. That makes them sound even better. Obviously, no need to order!" "Your Roesti potatoes, omlette, coffee and sausages are served with toast, jam or marmalade." Breakfast was served hot. The coffee was very good and the omlette had some onion in it with lots of mushrooms, delicious. The Roeti potatoes were much better than the commercial kind." Lucas asked for attention. "Liam, you asked when you would meet the family. We are now in the first week of June. I am not certain when Mr. Corbett will be here. We have a huge party at the chalet on July 1st, your equivalent to July 4th. You could come up on June 30th and leave late on July 2nd or early July 3rd to be home for July 4th. If you come early or leave late, you can get to know the family and our friends. We have a big boat and anything you want, water skiing, water boarding or just swimming to the raft. We have a bonfire on the beach and there are community fireworks on July 1st. We keep ourselves in shape with a run every day. Oh, every morning that you are there, you have to get up in the morning for THE MORNING SWIM. People have been know to be thrown in the lake if they don't get up with us." Robert nodded his head emphatically as Lucas had done earlier. Liam, "An invitation with a threat. You are my kind of guys." "I am going to suggest to my father that he comes in two weeks for the weekend only. Well, Friday to Sunday. Could you work that in. We really want support on this." "Try and get him to have a flight later itn the day and we could leave at noon and be here mid afternoon. Tell him that you both have appointments on most Fridays. It's less than a three hour drive for us." "Thanks guys. Can Liam and I let you know if we can make it for July 1st?" "Talk it over and when you call or email about the arrangements with your father, we can set some dates. You could also come up some weekend in July. We are up there for most of the weekends in the summer. I think that we may even take a week there in July or August ourselves. We have talked about it. We sort of want to get back to a normal life." Robert looked at his watch. I want to buy a small but powerful, portable computer. I have looked online and they are cheaper here in the States even with the exchange rate. I think that we are going to have to leave soon. Any suggestons?" "We have both set up our offices with a firm here in town. They have a retail outlet open on Sundays. I know that the owner would come to the store and help you if I phoned him. He is part of the gay mafia, a great guy." The guys laughed. Robert, "Gay mafia. I like a bit of irreverence." The call was made and they said their goodbyes to Liam. The hugs were warm. The owner of the store was more than helpful. Robert had a really good, name brand notebook computer with all the memory and power that he wanted and he got the discount reserved for special customers ie. big spenders or the gay community. They were at the car. Thomas looked at his watch. "It is 11:30. You have your forty eight hours and your exemptions. I know. Your are probably going back to see Jean and buy a couple bottles of that wine." "God, are we that obvious? Here is an incentive. We'll keep one of the bottles for us and one for you and Liam at the chalet when you are there." "Guys, it has been great having you here. I hope that it goes well with my father. I don't intend to soften anything. I might even take him to the club for supper and dancing. He is going to stay in a hotel. We would like you to stay at our place for the weekend." "That would be great and good strategy. By the way, your father was with us when we and my dads danced at the conference. He actually said later that he could see how two men could come to feel so deeply for each other. I am not making this up; he said that he hoped that you were as lucky as we have been. I'll leave that as my comment for you and your father. Good luck." Robert looked at Thomas. "You know, I don't think that you are going to need good luck on this one. A clear head and knowing what you want out of this, will do it. Don't forget to have Liam by your side. He is like my guy, your rock, your centre." Thomas looked at him with a look that asked how did he know that Liam, was his rock, his centre. Robert looked at him. "Unless you two are good actors, it is obvious as hell." Robert moved to Thomas and gave him a big hug. Then Thomas moved to Lucas and gave him a huge Marchese hug. Smart ass looked at him "Hm, fast learner. You'll fit right in at the chalet. I hope that you get to meet Momma. She welcomed me into the family. She is a force of nature." Final waves and they were off. They showed their passports and reported their purchases. They were through Canadian customs in minutes. It had been a very good weekend but they were glad to be back home. Later, they were both getting ready for the next day when the telephone rang. Stephenson speaking. He listened and then yelled. "Robbie come here." He talked into the telephone. "I am putting you on speaker phone." "As I said to Lucas, I just finished a call from Thomas. He was polite but distant. I am coming up to Buffalo in two weeks. I understand that the four of you had a very good weekend together. Thank you so much. In fact, I can't thank you enough. He tells me that you are coming down on the weekend that I am coming." He chuckled. "He must want back up, a referee. I may need it but he won't. I want this to work. I guess it is Liam who is not a great fan of mine. Well, I can understand why my son isn't either. He was quite blunt about how their lives were affected after I disowned him. That was the term he used. He asked me to phone you. He will be in touch by email. Again thanks. Looking forward to seeing you in two weeks." Robert spoke after Lucas hung up the phone. "I am glad that we have two weeks before we go. I am thinking of closing the office at noon on that Friday and giving everyone a slightly longer weekend. I am sure that you can get the time off." "Always thinking and planning. Run it by Mark. He will feel included in the decision making." "Good suggestion. You are thinking like a manager; you are going to be running the forensic section very shortly. Any other bright suggestions?" Lucas cocked his head to the side. Looked thoughtful. "It has been a long day. It is getting late. I could suggest a shower together and sleep." "You just want me to say it, don't you?" "No, I just want you clean and naked. I'll take care of the rest." "Best offer since this morning." It did turn out to be a lot more than a shower and sleep. Very satisfying. Robert was in early to the office and so was Mark. He got a quick run down on the Friday afternoon. "Boss, we had more requests for Forensic+. All the money has been put in the account. Oh, the guy we had in for the French version of the program emailed to see if we had made a decision." "I have resevations about him." "I did too Boss. He seemed at bit weak. I wasn't certain about the languages that he could program in." "His French was fluent but I wasn't certain about his spelling or also like you, his knowledge of computer languages. Contact him and tell him that we have more interviews planned, which is true." He paused. "Mark, I am still thinking about Phoebe. Are you certain that you could handle the situation if you two split up?" "Boss, she really wants the job. She is bright and knows her stuff. You have seen her web sites. I would be upset if we broke up but I realize that I could lose her at any time. I think that we could really use her in the firm. She has a lot of potential." "Would you mind if Lucas had a chat with her?" "Boss, he is an owner and a very bright guy. No problem for me at all. My suggestion is to have the 'chat' at The Accountants. Please do it soon. She really wants the job." "And I really want to start to diversify. We need someone who can progam and deal with servers and office set up. Lucas and I have talked about it. I would like to able to offer a small firm or start ups with us setting up their office and servers and in effect, being their IT department. I want to be able to offer to build their web site as well. Possibly do both for a good price." "Boss, let's have more interviews. The sooner we start, the better. I would suggest that we divide the office into a Forensic+ section and an office set up section. People may have to work in both areas but it would be a start." By the end of the week, they had had quite a few interviews. Lucas had had his chat with Phoebe and she was hired on Thursday. She had to give two weeks notice. They had a meeting on Friday and went over all the interviews. They had one scheduled for Monday. Robert had contacted his mentor, Charles Hunter from his department at the university. Charles gave him the name of young man who he thought was their best graduating student in the Spring. He lived in the city and they had an appointment with them first thing on Monday morning. Charles did warn him that he was a bit shy but brilliant in his work. He felt that Robert could bring him out of his shell and he would have a great additon to his staff. He did consult with Mark about the staff leaving Friday at noon. Mark commented that the staff had been working full out and it would be a good reward. Mark then asked a tentative question. "Do you think that we could have an early lunch in the office with some beer or wine? Nothng too expensive or elaborate. A little thank you for the hard work." This was his new office manager or perhaps the return of the man who he had hired. "Excellent suggestion. Oh, check for any food allergies or special diets. Is anyone vegetarian or vegan? Ask around and perhaps have some the staff organize it. You have a lot to do with interviews and running the office." "Thanks boss. The team is getting on very well; I think that they will appreciate it. Don't forget to have Lucas come up. He is part of the team." Mark, again thinking of the details. He had made a wise decision to help Mark with his problems with hi ex girfriend, Liz. The weekend passed quickly: energetic dancing Friday night, supper with the dads and grandads on Saturday and church and lunch at the Malenfants on Sunday. After the visit to Buffalo, he realized again how important family was to Lucas and him. They started to talk about how they would handle Buffalo next week. They realized that Thomas was sending a message to his father. His father would have to play his cards right. The guys were staying at Thomas and Liam's home. The father was in the hotel; a not so subtle message to his father to prove himself to both Thomas and especially Liam. Robert knew that it could go either way, an acceptance by Thomas or an early plane ride back to Tucson for Ron Corbett. The guys felt refreshed on Monday. Lucas was going to be present for the important interview. It would be a long but important day for both of them. They had decided that they would both stay late at the office and go out for a good dinner that evening. Robert had made reservations at one of their favourite French bistros. The interview might be the most important one the they had had and it was one that Lucas would attend. It was the interview for the young man who had been recommended by Charles Hunter. Robert was in his office when he heard the door open and a male voice announce that he was here for a job interview. Robert looked at his watch; he was ten minutes early. The receptionist asked him to wait. Robert phoned Lucas to tell him that the young man had arrived. Robert entered the reception area. He walked over to the young man. "I am Robert Malenfant and you must be Edward Howe. Welcome. My partner, Lucas Stephenson, works at The Accoutnants and we are using one of their small meeting rooms. Ours is a little too open for these interviews." At that moment Mark arrived. "I would like you to meet Mark, our Office Manager and my second in command." Edward had stood up when Robert had walked towards him. He was around 5' 10, with a slight build but well proportioned. He was good looking in a young way and his hair didn't quite suit him. He looked a bit boyish. However, he did have a strong handshake and he did look at a person eye to eye. They were down at The Accountants and Lucas came in to the room. Robert looked at him. "Hey, good morning so far?" "The case I am workng on is tough but I can see some ways that it might be able to add to Fornesic+ to help with cases like this one." He turned. "You must be Edward. You come with a good recommendation from Professor Hunter. I'm Lucas Stephenson." They shook hands. They had a set of questions that they asked at every interview. But first, they wanted to get to know the candidate, his/her background, expectations, strengths, areas that were not their speciality," It became obvious that Edward was an interesting guy. He could make fun of hmself when he talked about how he enjoyed programing computer games for fun. He knew his strengths and did talk about what he really enjoyed doing and what he didn't like as much. However, he was perceptive; he stressed that as a start up firm, he knew that would be required to do a lot of things that weren't really what he liked to do. At the end of the interview, they asked him to wait outside. It didn't take long. He was hired. When they asked him back, Robert had told him that they were hiring him for his grasp of many computer languages and as such he would have to work on Forensic+ with Mark, but also on web sites and perhaps even installing systems in offices. He had just smiled and said that was exactly what he figured that he would have to do. He was able to start on Wednesday. They now had two of their new hires. They badly needed a French speaking hire with good English to work on the French version, ForensicPlus. They had some interviews set up on Tuesday and Wednesday. They had a very good interview with a young lady whose French and English were excellent. She even knew a few of the Forensic term in both French and English. She could program in many languages. They decided to hire Helene (pronounced as a French name) but Robert had noticed that she had given both himself and Lucas a very searching look. She liked what she saw. So when they hired her, Robert had managed to casually tell her that Lucas and he were married. He said that he wanted all his staff to know. They had all smiled but she did get the message. The guys were really pleased. The staff organized a really good lunch on the Friday. There were many thanks for the afternoon off with pay for everyone in the office and how pleased they were with the lunch. Robert and Lucas were impressed that all the new hires had been preseent. Phoebe had arrived a bit early to help and would stay a bit late to clean up; she already felt part of the staff. Edward had come in early that morning and was there to help as well. He did not seem as shy as Charles Hunter had said. Helene who they had hired for her French speaking ability had enjoyed talking to Lucas and Robert in French. The staff saw yet another side to the bosses. They had now started to talk to each other in French in this office. It had been a very good idea for the lunch and the afternoon off. Robert and Lucas left a bit early to get on the road so that they would arrive before Ron Corbett's 5 o'clock flight from Tucson. They did not know whether they were meeting Ron or if it was Thomas and them. Big question was where would Liam be. Interesting question but not their problem. They had a good drive down talking about the week which they felt had gone very well and they were looking forward to having Phoebe with them late the next week. Robert had something that he wanted her to do immediately. The welcome was boisterous. After they had put their cases in their room, they came out for coffee. They noticed immediately that Thomas was a bit subdued. Robert decided not to hold back. "Thomas, you look a bit subdued. Have you decided what you want us to do?" "Thanks for being so direct. We have talked about it. I would like you and me to meet my father. I would like Lucas to stay with Liam." He looked at Liam. He smiled at him. "I suspect that if Liam were at the airport, it would be a very short visit." He moved over to Liam and hugged him. He gave him a loving look. "Thanks for all that you have done this week. I know how you feel." They were in the arrivals area just as the flight had arrived. "Robert, thanks for coming with me. I think that Liam would like to throttle my father right here in the arrivals area. I am certain the Lucas will calm him down and I just want you here to break the ice. I am not even certain how I feel but thank you for all your help with this. Perhaps it is time to see him. I have a wonderful life here with Liam." People started to come out of the door. Robert saw Ron first and raised his hand up in a wave. He heard Thomas take a deep breath. He looked at him; his face was tense. Robert could not imagine all the feelings that would be coursing through his body. "Ron, good to see you again." Robert and he shook hands. Ron turned to his son. "Thomas, thank you for inviting me to come. I know that I don't deserve it." Ron held out his hand and Thomas took it. Finally, Thomas spoke. "Ron, let's get your suitcase and then go for a cup of coffee. There is a nice bistro on the way to the hotel." "I didn't want to be a bother so I have rented a car and I am going to pick it up here at the airport. Perhaps you could meet me at the rental car area and I can follow you." "That wasn't necessary. We have a car as do Robert and Lucas." "I am pleased to be here and I want to be as little bother as possible. In fact, I can drive to the hotel resgister and then drive to your home." "Ron, I would like to sit down over a cup of coffee with just you, Robert and me." Ron smiled. "If that is what you want, then that is what we'll do." Fifteen minutes later they had met at the car rental and had stopped at the Bistro. "We just need a coffee; Liam and Lucas are preparing supper back home. I guess I want to know personally why you wanted to contact me and meet with me. I think that I know why you did it through Robert and Lucas." "I was fairly certain that you would not talk to me if I phoned or emailed you. In fact, I did send one email to your office and it was never answered. I was so impressed with this young man and with Lucas that I asked if they would help me. There was something about how they interacted that told me that they were more than business partners. Robert was so matter of fact about their relationship that I felt even more ashamed of myself. Then, I had seen the love and affection that all their families and friends gave them. Thomas, I can't even begin to tell you how ashamed I am with how I treated you that awful day. There are days when I have realized all the milestones that I have missed and I have realized over time how terrible I had made your lives. The only good thing is that it did not drive you and Liam apart. I know that sorry is not good enough but I would like to be part of your lives in some small way." "I want you to know that Liam will be difficult to bring around. We had to live in crappy dives. We had to work throughout every year and keep up on our university work. We managed to get financial help from the university but we had to save every penny to pay the rent and the basic meals that we could afford. As I said to Robert, we both became good cooks. We couldn't even afford a university meal card. Some how I got through my CPA and Liam graduated from dental school. It took a lot of the first few years working to pay off our debts but we managed. I'll take you to see my offices and to Liam's pratice tomorrow. We have built a very good personal life and professional life in Buffalo." "And no help from me." There were tears in Ron's eyes as he looked at his son. Robert could see that Thomas was stealing himself to not react. It was going to take a lot more than that to convince him. Then there was Liam. Oh boy, Robert thought to himself. Robert spoke up. "I think that dinner will be ready very soon. It would be wise not to make the guys wait too long; they spent some time getting it ready." They could almost feel the tension from Ron when they had parked and were walking up to the front door. They had decided that Ron would phone the hotel to let them know that he was in Buffalo and would register later. "We're home." Lucas came out and welcomed Ron. Then Liam came into the entry area. He stopped and looked directly at Ron. Nothing was said for seconds which felt like minutes. Finally, "Mr. Corbett welcome to our home. Lucas and I have a good bottle of wine open and dinner is ready." He shook hands with Ron and then turned and hugged his partner. He looked at Thomas. "We have a wonderful pot roast in the slow cooker with lots of vegetables and Lucas and Robert's special potatoes. Lucas slipped out and bought THE WINE and baklava." Thomas smiled. "You guys don't fool around when you prepare dinner. Sounds wonderful. Is it the wine from the 5th in Paris?" "Yes, two bottles, care of Lucas and Robert." Turning to Lucas and Robert, with affection, "Guys!!! You are impossible." As they went in to the dining room, Thomas whispered to Robert. "What the hell, Liam was civil. Have they had a bottle of wine while we were out?" "Lucas and I talked about Liam's possible reaction to your father. I think that what you are seeing is what I call the Lucas effect. He calms me and centres me all the time. He has worked his magic on Liam." Thomas just shook his head in amazement. They sat down to eat. Lucas and Liam brought out the food.
