"It is amazing how much has happened since we went to the conference in Toronto. Then we were so worried about how Thomas would react to our seeing him about his father." Robert looked at him. "I think that it was your talk with Liam to have him listen to what Ron had to say that helped. Now we have new friends and a trip to Arizona in January. We also have to start to plan for the conference in St. Louis in September. It is going to be a bigger audience and perhaps more cautious with a Canadian product." "If I know you, you have already started to plan how to change the format of our presentation." Robert laughed. "You know me too well." Lucas raised his eyebrows. "In many ways. I certainly know what you will want when we are home and unpacked." Robert stepped back and scanned Lucas' body from head to toe and then up to just below his waist. "Oh yeah!" They laughed and held each tightly and kissed. It was a memorable time back, unpacked and at home. Present Robert and Lucas both wanted to arrive early at work. Lucas had a major case that he was the lead on and he wanted to get in early to get started. Robert knew that they really had to get to work quickly and work hard at getting the firm going in the new way that he wanted it to go. His aim was to have the new website up and running by the end of the week. Phoebe had done a really good job of it. He wanted a few changes but it was just about ready. He planned on doing what his father had done. They would have a small celebration and present the new site to the entire office. He had put some feelers out to firms and people he knew about how the firm was diversifying. He was going to do more work on his presentation in St. Louis as well as some work on both Forensic+ and Forensic Plus. He wanted to get ForensicPlus out to a firm in Quebec and one in Paris to make certain that the language and the way of handling cases were OK. As usual Mark came in a few minutes after he had arrived. "Hey Mark, good weekend?" "We went out dancing and just took it easy on Sunday. By the way a few of us would like to take you up on the offer to go to the chalet in July. The fourth week of July seems to be the best time. I hope that's OK." "That works well. Our Buffalo friends are coming up the third week. I'll be in and out of the office that week as will Lucas. So we'll close the office the fourth week and everyone who wants to come can spend the week up there, just the weekend or do something on their own. I would like them to come up on the Monday and leave Sunday after an early lunch. I need the time at home to get ready for work. Actually, they can come up any day of the week and stay as long as they want. Well until Sunday lunch." Robert had a session with Phoebe and they worked out what she would do with her ideas and his final additions. He decided not tell her how he would introduce the new web site to the staff. He had already cleared that with Mark who liked the idea. As Mark said, it was good for morale. He was just finishing up some work on Wednesday at lunch time. He had decided to get out of the office, eat and run some errands that he needed to do. His telephone rang and the receptionist told him that he had a call on line 2. "Good afternoon, Robert Malenfant speaking." "So it is not Robbie Malenfant any more? Robert it is!" Robert was surprised that he recognized the voice immediately. "Well, Brett some people still call me Robbie but I have my business persona when I take a call at work." He paused. With not a lot of warmth to his voice, "It has been a long time Brett!" They had talked a couple of times as he moved out of the house that they had rented, more than three years ago now but nothing since then. "I am in town for the next couple of days. I might have a job offer from the university here." "I was about to finish up here and go for lunch. If you are free, we could meet at a pub." He gave him the name of a pub close to the office and suggested 12:30 for lunch. "I would like that. I'd like to catch up. I understand that you have fulfilled your dream." "It is actually Lucas and my dream. We did it together. I knew that you were on staff at the university. You probably got my information and news from Charles Hunter." "Still sharp. You are right. I had no other way to find you. See you at 12:30." Robert arrived early and ordered a coffee. He almost never drank alcohol during the day when he was at work. He chose a spot where he could see anyone entering the pub. At precisely 12:30, Brett entered the pub. Robert stood up and motioned him to the table. They shook hands. Robert looked at him. "Brett, you have changed. Are you working out? You are trim with more muscle mass and tone." Brett laughed. "I started working out in my last year of university and continued it. Surprisingly, I joined a low level hockey team made up of university TAs and junior staff. It's enjoyable. I met a lot of guys and have kept it up. So I workout several times every week. I now know how much you guys put into the team and your workouts." "Let's order. I have to get back to work. It's a very busy time for me." They ordered. Robert decided that he had to pursue the reason he had been contacted. "Brett, I must admit that I was surprised in two ways with your call today. "One, I recognized your voice immediately and two, I am still wondering why you called after all this time." He raised his eyebrows. Brett took a deep breath and closed his eyes for a couple of seconds. "I owe all of you an apology. I am still not certain why I did what I did in that Fall of our third year. I obviously got too rapped up in my work and myself. Paul was off with his hockey and somehow that put me off. We were keeping odd hours. I guess I almost became a recluse. Then I met a guy in the department and we hooked up. For a while that became very hot and exciting. That drove a real wedge between Paul and me. We argued over the stupidest things and I finally called it quits. It turned out that the guy I hooked up with was too much like me and we split in the late winter. I was too ashamed to contact Paul. I heard that he was meeting all sorts of guys. I saw him dancing one night and he was on the floor, dancing with a guy just like he used to dance with me. I left the club that night. I have not found anyone since then. I lost him and you and Lucas. I assume that you two are still together." "Yes, you have lost touch. We were married last November." "Robbie, I am so happy for you and Lucas. Now tell me about what you and Lucas have been up to." Brett listened very carefully. "That is amazing, Lucas is assistant head of the forensic section and you have published you dream program and presented it at a conference in Toronto. Now you are expanding your business to include Forensic+ and providing an all inclusive start up options for small firms and possibly existing firms; you now have a staff of eight people. Somehow, I knew that you would do it." Looking very seriously, Robert sighed, "I have to say one thing. After you left him, Paul was lost all that next spring. He did meet one guy, Graham, but he left after a couple of months. He had a talk with my dad, Jeremy, and he pulled himself together. He met Sean that summer and they have been together for a couple of years. Paul is very happy. They live together and were up at the chalet last weekend. It has been great seeing the old Paul emerge again." Brett sighed. "I am the one who lost out. I have met no one like him since then." "I'll be blunt. I hope that you have no intentions of trying to see him and getting between Sean and him." He stared at Brett. "I thought that might be your reaction. I guess that I won't get his telephone number or address from you?" Robert opened his eyes wider and raised his eyebrows. There was just a small shake of his head, no. "Brett, I am glad that you phoned and that we met. Believe it or not, I have enjoyed lunch with you and I accept your apology. If you will give me your contact numbers, I'll talk to Paul and he can decide what he wants to do." "Robert, the organizer and fixer; I certainly benefited by that several times. It WAS good seeing you. By the way, you too are in good shape and look really good. Please give my best wishes and apology to Lucas and to Paul. I know that you will succeed with your new firm." He paused looking directly at Robert. "I really am sorry for what I did." They shook hands and left at the same time. By the time, Robert arrived back at work he was in a very contemplative mood. He decided that he and Lucas would have to talk this over before he spoke to Paul. Later in the afternoon, he heard Lucas come in to the office saying hello the receptionist. He heard his footsteps and then he was standing in the door with that little, mischievous look on his face. Robert looked at him with a big smile on his face. "Now my day is complete, a big handsome hunk in my office. Come here I have something for you." When Lucas came to his desk, Robert pulled him in and kissed him. "Wow, that was unexpected." I had an interesting day, a meeting with an old friend and I realized yet again how lucky I am." He gave him another quick peck on the lips. "Lets go to that Vietnamese place. I am have some interesting things to tell you." He laughed. "No, we talk over the food." They were eating. Between mouthfuls, Robert told him about his lunch. "I am probably having the same reaction as you. He apologized. It sounds as if he is missing Paul. I am really glad that you told him how a contact with Paul would work and explained Paul and Sean's relationship. I watched Paul and Sean over the weekend. They react as we do often. I know what you mean about how we feel so lucky." Lucas reached over and held Robert's hand with a loving look. It was obvious that he didn't care who was looking or what they thought. "I think that I'll contact Paul tomorrow and ask him to meet for lunch. I'll just be vague about why I want to see him. By the way, don't forget that we are launching our new web site on Friday afternoon. I am going out after this to buy some things to eat and some drinks. Mark knows that I am going to put on a special afternoon. He figures that it will be good for morale. I'll just have to figure it out how to recognize successes for some of the others on staff." "You are doing an amazing job." "I learned from the best. Dad, Papa, Michael Burtchell, Grandpa Jamie and Philipo. And from you." Robert had itemized what he had bought for Friday afternoon and Mark made a couple of suggestions saying that he would get those things. Robert reminded him that he was to submit the expenses to the office fund. Paul turned out to be free for lunch. Robert left the office a bit early and was waiting for Paul when he arrived. Again he observed his friend. Paul too was still playing hockey and he and Sean worked out regularly at the same gym that Lucas and Robert used. They often worked out together. Paul was looking very good and he came across the room with a smile on his face. "Hey Robbie, what a nice surprise this morning and I was able to get here in time. We are quite busy right now but I had to eat." They ordered. While the food was coming, Paul looked at Robert and asked him what he wanted to talk about. Robert looked at him kindly. "This may be a bit upsetting for you but here goes. I had a very unexpected call yesterday from someone. I recognized Brett's voice immediately." He saw Paul's body tighten up and he closed his eyes for a second and then he sighed. "I bet that was a surprise. Just the name brings back a lot of memories good, bad and awful. I had come to realize that during that Fall our relationship deteriorated slowly but inevitably. I just couldn't get my head around it. I tried to understand. I tried to forgive his actions. But it was the night that he came back drunk and I could smell another person's cologne and I was certain that I could smell sex. He told me to mind my own business and refused to talk about what was bothering me. The next day we had breakfast in silence. God it was awful. We were living with you guys and we tried not to do anything in front of you but we argued about the stupidest thing. I decided that I would just let it takes its course. I thought that maybe he would change but it got worse. When he finally told me that he was leaving the house and me, I refused to break down in front of him. I just walked out. That started my decline. Luckily I had hockey, you guys and my studies." He smiled and looked at Robert. "There is no other way to say it; I became a slut." There were tears in his eyes. "I let you all down with my behaviour." "Paul, we knew what you were going through; we just hoped that you would be careful using condoms and that you would eventually become yourself again. We liked Graham when you met him but as it turned out, he was just using you and us. I am so glad that you had your talk with my Dad and then you met Sean." "Your Dad is a very wise man and it was the luckiest day of my life when I met Sean. I was afraid that he would leave me too but we bonded like your dads did as Sean came out to his parents. We became a team." He composed himself. "You know, I am not certain if I want to meet or even talk to Brett. That was the worst time of my life. Thank god, I had you and Lucas, hockey and then Sean. I'll have to think about it. I may just email him and thank him for the apology but I am certain that is all that I want to do. I don't see any point in seeing him. Sean and I have our work which we both love and he is the man whom I want to come home to." Robert smiled. "Thanks for the quick decision. Brett is applying for a job at the university here. I told him in no uncertain terms that you and Sean were very close and not to even think about trying to get you back. My suggestion was going to be to not talk to him and to not see him. What happened that fall was not your actions. Brett was totally responsible. There was literally nothing that you could have done. He almost said that to me." Paul looked at his watch. "Thanks for asking me to lunch and the way that you dealt with Brett. I certainly would not want him turning up at our place or phoning me at home with no warning. Oh thanks yet again for the weekend at the chalet. We had a great time. Had an interesting ride in the canoe with a little rest on shore in a secluded spot." Robert just laughed as he muttered `dirty dogs the two of you'. They left laughing and with a hug outside the pub. He worked hard with the guys on Forensic+ and Forensic Plus. They had a second edition of Forensic+ which would be sent electronically the next morning to all their registered users. They had previously chosen two French speaking firms, one in Montreal and one in Paris which would be given the program ForensicPlus with instructions the next morning as to what they wanted them to do. They gave the usual month to use the program and evaluate it. They did ask the firms to report any major problems immediately by phone or email. On Friday att three in the afternoon, Robert announced to the staff that they were to stop their work, save what they were working on and shut down their computers. There were looks all over the working area. Robert shrugged, smiled and said that they were finished for the day but he had something to say. Mark had set up a monitor in the area. "I want to give you an update on our progress to date. We sent out a revised copy of Forensic+ yesterday morning. I want to thank Edward and Mark for the hard work that they have put in to getting Forensic+ 1.1 out to all our registered customer. It now has some really interesting features that Lucas has given us from his work at The Accountants." He turned to look at each of them in turn, smiling broadly at Lucas. "We sent out our first copy of ForensicPlus (pronouncing it in French) to a firm in Montreal and one in Paris for a 30 day trial. My congratulations to Helene and Edward for their hard work and dedication." He looked at them and then clapped his hands in appreciation. "However, the main reason for stopping this afternoon is to show you another important milestone for the company. Earlier this afternoon, we took our website offline and replaced it with our new website which Phoebe has worked on for several weeks. I put together the first one and it was good to start with but I think that you will all agree that the new one is much better. I want to celebrate as this is an important milestone for our firm." Phoebe spoke up. "Boss, it was my job and it is not necessary to celebrate it." Robert raised his eyebrows. "You are right it is your job and you have done an exceptional job of it. I want to celebrate the achievements of everyone here. We are on track for the growth of the firm." He smiled at Phoebe. "Mark do it!" Mark turned on the monitor and typed in the office web address. He turned to Phoebe. "Phoebe, please come and press the enter key." He stepped aside and she, almost reluctantly, walked to the keyboard and pressed enter. The screen opened to the new website. There were comments around the room as to how great it looked. Suddenly, computers were started and there were comments of praise all around the room. Surprisingly, it was Edward who stood up and started to clap and the office followed him. Edward had changed, not the shy introvert who Charles Hunter had told Robert that he might be. He was emerging to fit the job. Mark, Lucas and Robert came in quickly with food and drinks. "Again, I want to tell you all that we have made progress on all fronts. We are still receiving sales of Forensic+ every day. Finally, I can tell you that we have a request to go to a firm to talk about being their service provider for their computers, web site and possibly setting up a significant data base. We don't know anything more than that but they have given me their web address and Phoebe, you have your next job." He looked around the room and stopped at Phoebe. "No, I am not going to give you the address today. You will be given it on Monday morning. The meeting is in the afternoon. Now it is time celebrate!" As he was about to leave, Mark came to Robert and Lucas. "Boss, thanks for what you did today. It was a great way to end the week." He turned to Robert. "Can I ask a special favour? Would you give me the web address and I'll give it to Phoebe on Saturday morning? She desperately wants to have a head start. As she said to me, she could possibly put together an opening page for the web site and you could take it to the firm and use it or not." "Mark, you know that I trust your judgment. Please go out and celebrate tonight but give it to her tomorrow morning. That could be a very useful tool." They celebrated and finally the staff left for the weekend. Lucas and Robert ended up in Robert's office. Lucas looked at him with pride in his eyes. "You have had quite a week. Lunch with Brett, a talk with Paul. Then you managed to get out Forensic+ 1.1 and ForensicPlus to the firms in Montreal and Paris. Finally, you pulled the staff even closer together celebrating their successes." "Well you have always been part of it. That addition to 1.1 with your most recent case is going to be a real hit in Forensic+." Robert stood up and walked around his desk. He stood in front of Lucas. He pulled him in and looked into his eyes. "I commented to Brett and Paul how each was looking good. Then I look at you. I remember that first pub at the end of our hockey tryouts in first year, we went to the pub and I danced and you drank. When I had you back to our room and undressed you, I remember thinking about the great body and other parts which you had. It took me a while to realize what you meant to me. Now I see a successful executive with a magnificent body. Mr. Stephenson, I would like to rip those clothes off you right here in the office and take you on my desk and show you what you mean to me." Robert leaned in and the kiss was blistering. "Perhaps something to eat at that dance club, a few dances and then home early." Robert, almost whining, "I don't know if I can wait that long." Chuckling, Lucas put his arms around Robert guiding him out of the office. When they were in the elevator, Lucas turned Robert to face him, pushed him against the wall and kissed him hard. His hands moved from Robert's chest to his crotch. Lucas stroked him softly without stopping. Lucas could feel the almost instant hardness. "That is just a little hint what is going to happen when we arrive home. It will have to do for now." Robert looked at Lucas. "I'll look forward to it. It does take delayed gratification to a new level." The food was good. The dancing was erotic. They were in their own little world as they danced in rhythm to a slow dance. When it ended, they were both hard. Lucas gazed at Robert. "I think that it's time to go." They arrived back at their place. As they entered, Robert was the last in and he used his foot to slam the door shut. He grabbed Lucas and forced him against the wall. As Robert kissed him, he managed to get Lucas' shirt off. Robert's mouth went to his right nipple. He could feel Lucas tense and then moan with pleasure. As he licked and bit the nipple, his hands shoved the pants down. In an instant, Robert was on his knees with his tongue licking that beautiful mushroom tip. The moans became really loud when the mouth began to suck it and then the tongue licked him as the mouth sucked him hard. Lucas cried out when Robert took him all the way until his nose buried in Lucas' stomach. Finally Lucas cried out. "Too much, I am so ready I could almost finish now." Robert released him and stood up looking in his eyes. "I was so hot for you back at the office that I could have almost taken you on my desk. Now, I want your great body to take me." Lucas looked as if he were going to object. Robert decided that he knew what he wanted "No, no, I need you. I need you in me pounding me with this." He reached down, put his hand around it and slowly moved his hand up and down that large, hard cock. It was so hard it was almost red. Lucas leaned over and kissed him. "I was so turned on during that dance that I could have taken you there for all to watch." After a quick shower, they lay on the bed touching every part of their clean bodies. Lucas finally turned Robert onto his back pushed his legs out and up. Lucas bent over and started rimming him until Robert was moaning. As always, Robert started to cry out, louder and his body tensed as Lucas forced his tongue into the opening. Minutes later a well lubed cock was at his entrance. "Lucas, take me hard and fast. I want to feel the invasion. I love the feeling of having no control over what you do to me." As Lucas bottomed out in him, Robert pulled Lucas down. "I need you so much. This feels so good but now I want you to fuck me harder and faster. Don't worry about me. I'll be right with you, loving every minute of it. So minutes later, Robert could feel the increase in tempo and the look of immense pleasure as Lucas rammed into him and held. He could hear Lucas gasping in pleasure and he was certain that he could feel the pulses inside him. Then seconds later Lucas started to move to the rhythm of his finishing orgasm. Robert had kept up with him and as Lucas was finishing and breathing hard, Robert could feel his orgasm start in his groin and his hand tightened around his pulsing cock and fired shots that hit his face, then his shoulder and finally down his stomach and down his fingers. Lucas surprised him; he leaned down and licked the cum off his fingers and hand. He sighed with pleasure. Lucas looked down at him with strange smile and in a light, humorous voice, he commented. "Nice splatter pattern." He leaned over and licked Robert's face clean and kissed him. Nothing else was said as their breathing returned to normal. They fell asleep with Lucas nestling behind him with his arm over Robert's side and his hand on his chest.
