Story by; Jacob Lion; This story is fiction and characters names are fabricated. The locations are accurate. There may be some sex in the story however it will be gentle and loving. Another great story you may enjoy in Nifty Adult/Youth is "Immigrant" by Jonah A Neglected Boy "The Twins" XXI jacoblion@tutanota.com The story is told by either Jake or Kori in alternating Chapters. ............. Kori was next in the water with Ethan, Justin and Kyle. I remained on Jabbering with a good book about Greek history and Olympic Games. Looking at Kyle, Justin, and Ethan I almost thought they had been reading the part about the early Olympic Games athletes performing naked. The story goes a little like this, but I think there were other reasons ...... Ancient Olympians in 776 BCE originally wore loincloths to compete in and it was later that a runner named Orhippus decided to go naked probably at the fifteenth Olympic Games 720BCE in order to win the race. Now all those dates are in question and are argued by Greek Historians. Remember I am a history professor so this is of interest to me; oh and it looks like it interests the boys too. Now this guy called Thucydides thought athletic nudity was a show of civility in the face of the barbarism displayed by the Persian enemies to the East of Greece. I agree. Now all this brings to mind a word we use all the time ... "gymnasium" and that comes from a Greek word meaning naked. Young Greek males would go to the "Gymnasium" to work out, play games and such "naked". Athletes were often ideal bodies that served as models for artists and these bodies were shaped by extreme discipline and Greek athletes prided themselves in competing with each other in self control; now I am not sure what self control is in reference to. In Rome it was Nero who built the first Gymnasium and the Romans had a slightly different twist. It is known that the adjoining smaller rooms were used as baths and in many cases for sex; so much for the history lesson. I heard Kori holler for the beach ball and then the boys were chanting for me to join them. I'm thinking the crystal clear water around Jabbering has become a Gymnasium and seeing that the boat is holding anchor I do think it's time for me to get wet, wetter. I jumped in and the water was warm and from our anchorage it was a perfect view to about 20 seals sunning on the beach a hundred yards away. Seals also draw sharks. It was ball tag I'm it ..... I tried the best I could but these rug-rats and their swimming ability made it difficult to hit anyone of them. Ahhh but as Ethan distracted Kori for a second I made my attack and bounced the ball right off his head. Rug-rats had a fit of laughing and Kori hit Kyle with the ball and the game ended with 5 Olympic swimmers exhausted and hungry. What could be better than burgers and chips and OJ with Sprite? Well that's what we're having. Lunch over it was time for some fishing and we were in our best fishing clothes. Did I hear someone ask what our best fishing clothes are? Fishing clothes are the ones that get real smelly with sweat, fish scales, blood n guts the stuff the rug-rats really love. How we clean the clothes is a great story, we just take those greasy grimy, fish scale, smelly, covered in fish guts, and sweat best fishing clothes and stuff them in a big net bag and tow them behind Jabbering for about 30 minutes. If the sharks don't get them we rinse them in fresh water and they look almost new; well slightly worn but more like expensive fashion clothes. Ethan had Justin and Kyle's lines in the water and before the rest of us could get our lines in the water Kyle had a fish hooked. It was a good size Flounder and would be great tonight in a seafood stew. I think for me and Kori it was more fun to just watch the boys as they fished and argued who was the best fisherman. Certainly each story told by Justin and Kyle showed that the fish they caught got bigger and bigger; you might say it was a whale of a tale. The afternoon ended with Ethan as the big winner as he landed a nice Bluefish. We pulled anchor and stuffed the fishing clothes in our net bag and towed it as we headed back to the mooring. Rug-rats and a teenager were covered in Hawaiian tropic sunscreen; Kori said it's not the best protection but it smells real good, I for one love it. We had just enough sail to make slow progress so we could enjoy the sun and salt sea air. Kori had the wheel and I walked forward to check the boys. Kori was right and Kyle, Justin and Ethan were slightly red. I sent rug-rats back with Kori to get shorts and shirts on. Ethan was asleep and I think must have been having a good dream as his swimsuit left nothing to the imagination, I just nudged him and said . . . "Ethan you're getting very red I think it's time for shorts and shirt." Ethan woke realized his situation and quickly turned on his stomach and said . . . "Thanks Jake just 5 more minutes." He and I both had a slight smile as I walked back to join Kori, Kyle and Justin in the cockpit. Soon we were all rinsed off, dressed in comfortable shorts and a better non-greasy sunscreen. Family powwow time and it was decided to hike as much of Cuttyhunk as we could for the rest of the afternoon. Justin and Kyle had their treasure bags and cameras and Ethan had a treasure bag of his own. I told Kori we needed to watch for poison ivy and perhaps stick to good trails and not go pushing through the bushes. Last thing we needed was to have any of us covered in nasty itchy oozing blisters. Kori laughed because he remembered one time when he and Peter ended up with a case of poison ivy in a particular uncomfortable area. We hiked to the highest point following Justin and Kyle as they took photo after photo. Ethan had this guide book and was explaining this and that about the island and it made Kori poke at me as he said . . . "Jake do you remember when I used to do that?" . . . I answered . . . "Yes Kori I can remember when we would go to Newport and New Bedford, and you would learn just about everything you could you just loved all our adventures". Ethan heard my conversation with Kori as he began to read out loud . . . "History texts say the first English settlement in New England was established by Bartholomew Gosnold" now that led to some laughs by the rug-rats who decided to nickname Ethan, Bartholomew, and Ethan didn't appreciate it but he did continue with his lecture .... . . . "and his band of pioneers on Cuttyhunk in 1602. .... Hey rug-rats you better be listening I giving a test tonight ..." Ethan did continue to tell us that much has changed in the past 400 years and the great groves of oak, beech and cedar are gone and replaced by chokecherry, scrub oak and other stunted trees. There are many birds and some small wildlife and Kyle and Justin are finding just about everything on the Island. Amazingly the island is only 2.5 miles long and only three-quarters of a mile wide and Kori, Ethan and I are getting quite a tour as we follow the rug-rats winding this way and that way through the trails uphill, downhill and to the beach. Kori and I have noticed that Kyle and Justin have found a few treasures. We arrived at the beach and then it is time to pee. Well Kori and I are happy it's not in or behind some bush but there's not much cover and things are out hanging in midair for all to see. Speaking about seeing ...... Justin and Kyle have this new expression to get our attention and here it comes . . . . "Can we talk?" says big mouth Kyle . . . Kori always wants the boys to know they can ask any question they want and he and I will give the best honest answer we can, so Kori says . . . "What's up Kyle?" Kyle and Justin are very curious and they have been peeking at Ethan when he takes a pee, well actually they don't peek they just try to get as close as they can and stare. Rug-rats seem fascinated with Ethan's penis. So Kyle looks directly at Kori and says . . . "Kori can we get our penis cut to look like Ethan's it's cute and me n Justin don't like that skin stuff on ours." . . . Ethan and I just had this big grin and let Kori take care of this one. Kori and I use the term `cut or not cut' and so I guess Justin and Kyle have picked up on it. Kori looked at Justin and Kyle and said . . . "You know you have asked a real good question" . . . now Ethan and I are glued to Kori and what he will say next . . . . Kori went on . . . "I think the next time you and Justin go to the pediatrician you can ask him that question and he can give you the best answer and tell you how it's done." Kyle and Justin were ok with the answer but I can bet it won't stop them from checking out Ethan every chance they get. We walked almost every inch of the beach that we could and the boys were finding treasures and packing them into their treasure bags. We headed back to Jabbering and I started a real nice seafood stew. It had fish, shrimp, clams, mussels, potatoes and onion and I just let it sit and simmer as we all played monopoly. Dinner was soon ready and it was a warm evening so we just sat with shorts on and enjoyed stories but the rug-rats; um you'll find out. ..... Oh by the way I should say for those who really don't know the rug-rats well .... they have an incredible imagination. Tonight was story night and we all had to tell stories. Kori told a story of Old Salem, Massachusetts and witches and magic spells that turned little boys into half dogs and half goats and Kyle and Justin loved it. Ethan told a story about a boy and his brothers and how they wanted to become Knights of the Round Table. Rug-rats immediately were playing sword fighting. I told a story about a man lost on an island fighting pirates. The best story was told by Kyle and Justin. Rug-rats have been reading the story called "Sailing Alone Around the World, by Joshua Slocum in his sloop called The Spray. Justin and Kyle love the book and are now reading it for the second time. Justin will read a chapter to Kyle, and then Kyle will read a chapter to Justin. Little did we know how much the rug-rats learned from the book but were about to find out. Stories ended and it was time for bed. In the morning we would not hurry and perhaps around noon set sail to Martha's Vineyard. We were all very tired from a day of swimming, fishing and hiking around the island. Justin and Kyle were in their cabin, Ethan had his big bed and Kori and I were having just a little adventure of our own in our cabin, Quietly!. It was just after 4am when we heard Ethan screaming in pain and hollering HELP! Kori and I ran to Ethan to find Kyle and Justin laughing hysterically but trying to remove the crab that had attached itself to Ethan's finger; could have been attached to something else as he was naked. Now that was not the only problem. I got the crab off Ethan's finger as Kori was spitting mad and rug-rats continued to have their fit of laughing. It seems that this crab had found Kori's favorite boating jacket and just about torn the bottom half and one sleeve to ribbons. Now I was beginning to giggle about the situation until Ethan held up my favorite straw hat that no longer even resembled a hat as there was no brim. Kori was looking around and we heard a scratching noise. We had the damn crab in a mixing bowl and then Kyle spotted the second crab on the navigation table as it was shredding our paper charts of the islands. Justin ran to the head to pee and was laughing so hard only drops made it into the toilet with the majority on the deck. ...... Oh Kori was pissed ! ! ! Kyle and Justin had learned all about this in Chapter 19 of "Sailing Alone Around the World" and thought it would be fun to bring the two crabs onboard Jabbering to have crab races . . . . so they said. Kori wanted to make Kyle pick up the second crab but thought better of it after seeing Ethan's finger still bleeding. The two crabs found their way over the edge of the boat and into the water. Kori and I and Ethan were a little pissed but then we looked at the rug-rats and they looked like they were gonna cry, fake crying like fake news, so it ended up we hugged them and said it was Ok but not to bring anything onboard again. Their just 9, their tyrants, their cute, their trouble, their adorable, their impish and we love them. Then Justin and Kyle told us a little more about that chapter and I think it would be best to lash Kyle and Justin to Kori and myself or Ethan when ashore from now on because we're afraid of what comes next. Ethan grabbed `The Twins" and took them to bed with him for what was left of the night and all three had boxers on. Kori and I returned to our cabin almost afraid to go to sleep but sleep came fast. Morning and mornings light also came fast and Kori and I were up washed and dressed and in the galley making breakfast. The smell of bacon woke the twins and Ethan and rug-rat kicked the covers off to the deck and all three boys were naked. I looked, ... Kori looked, ... Ethan was looking at Kori and me as Justin and Kyle just got up and said . . . . "We sleep better that way, it's no big deal." .... It was so like it's the most natural thing in the world for them to be naked except it left Ethan quickly trying to recover the covers from the deck. It's just how teens wake up, hmmm now I think about it so do Kori and I most mornings. ...To be continued ...
