A Neglected Boy "The Twins" LXXI

   Justin and I were on the road for about 20 minutes although he had not
said a word, he did look happy sitting there in the front seat of Ethan's
Willys.  I had decided to just let him take some time and let him start the
conversation when he was ready.

   I spotted Cumberland Farms gas station and convenience store pulled in
and asked Justin if he wanted an ice cream. ......  "no thanks Dad".  I
fueled up the Willys bought 2 donuts, a chocolate milk and a Vanilla
coffee.  Back in the Jeep, I set the donuts and chocolate in the center
between Justin and me and we were off.

   It was another 10 minutes when I heard Justin ask . . . .  "Dad, you
love me, right?" ... wow, I wasn't expecting that ... Yes, Justin I love
you and Kori loves you.  ... "no Dad, I mean do you really love me, not
other `Dad' I mean you.  Why did you adopt us?" ......  I unbuckled his
seatbelt and he sat in my lap while I explained that Kori and I had wanted
kids.  We never expected to be given the two best kids in the whole
world. ... He smiled. ...  We were so excited the day you and Kyle walked
through the door.  Just think Justin two little rug-rats came into our
lives and our dream came true.

   I kissed the top of his head resting on my chest ... "I gotta pee Dad"
...  A short walk to a large tree.  Back in the Jeep that donut and
chocolate milk found a kid in need.  The rest of the ride Justin explained
how much he and Kyle loved me and Kori.

   We pulled in the driveway brought in 2 large bags of laundry and started
the washer.  As I closed the lid and turned ... Justin was looking at me
with his cute little smile and those big brown eyes.  Again, I am reminded
how beautiful this little boy is.  He took two steps threw his arms around
me, squeezed me tight and I heard those special words ...... "Dad, I'm
hungry" ...... that's the rug-rat I love!

   Great Wall of China? ... I asked ... ye ye (yes yes) Eyes even bigger
now.  We set the thermostat slightly warmer and were off for a big lunch.
I'm not sure where he got his appetite ... but, it was so much fun to watch
Justin eat.  I enjoyed wonton soup to start he enjoyed Miyeok Guk, beef
seaweed soup, with as much slurping and loud sloppy sucking noises as he
could make.

   I have had to learn some Korean customs, like most Koreans do not eat
with a knife or fork ... in Korea that is.  Slurping and belching are
acceptable while dining, and is sometimes considered a sign of appreciation
of the cooking.  Kori and I have reduced the belching part ... although
Ethan and Keith find it very funny and Kyle seems to be better at it than
Justin.

   Soup finished I watch Justin as he went on to dim sum, Sichuan pork,
Braised pork `balls' in gravy, Shrimp with vermicelli and garlic, Peking
duck, Steamed vermicelli rolls, Sweet and sour pork, Kung Pao Chicken,
Spring rolls.  Ok, I have to admit that unlike some American diners Justin
only takes very little amounts then returns to the buffet for the best

   As we sat and enjoyed a very slow lunch, he would tap my arm, then
trying to be polite and unnoticed, draw my attention to some rather unkept
person carrying 2 plates heaped with food and nearly falling off the plate.
I'm not at all sure if he was trying to teach the person how to eat at a
buffet but, he made several trips with just 2 or 3 little things on his
plate smiling as he walked by that individual's table. ... Rug-rat or brat?

   Lunch over it was off to Walmart with the `List'. ... One large Tide and
2 large OxiClean odor blasters laundry detergent, <<Why? ... "don't be
daft" 8 bath towels, the 12 pack of Irish Spring bath/shower soap, 2 large
boxes of brown rice, 20 pounds of potatoes, 4 family packs (16) Ball Park
all Beef Franks ... the list continued.

   We were back at home unpacked and then repacked for our trip back to the
farm, folded the clean clothes.  Time for a short run, Justin's idea not
mine, I'm tired, he's not.  Justin is a completely different boy than the
boy who started the day with me.  I love to see him happy.

   I plopped on the couch for the evening news with my rug-rat next to me.
The news was over at 6:30 and I had to gently tickle him to wake the little
brat.  First words out of his mouth ... guess ... go ahead guess.  That's
right ... "I'm a little hungry Dad".  It was off to the Cast Iron Chef for
dinner and for some reason lots of giggling.

   I have no idea why all the giggling.  Justin ordered the Chef's Octopus,
not for me, I ordered crab cakes and we shared a large side of roasted
brussels sprouts.  To begin we had an order of toasted garlic bread and he
wanted to try Oysters on the half shell, kinda slimy but good ... an order
of 8.  Justin had 1, just one ... the face was priceless.  I ate the rest
but, every time I slid one in ... he began giggling.  No, he wouldn't tell
me why. (if anyone knows why please tell me)

   It was 9:15 when we arrived back home and now my little tyrants a bath.
This time with him was the highlight of the day.  We sat in a nice warm tub
for almost 40 minutes.  The warm water and our movement had a noticeable
effect.  Every so often Justin would float allowing his little erection to
pop above the surface like a periscope on a submarine.  Then giggle as he
tried to push it down ... it just popped right back up.

   We dried and were in bed in minutes.  He cuddled up and was so relaxed
but very quiet.  I was drifting off when I heard him say . . . . "Dad, Kyle
and me have been sleeping in our room because the other boys are with us."
......  Well, that's good you all have fun together ... "but, I sleep
better when I sleep with you and so does Kyle, he loves it when Kori Dad
hugs him." ......  Well, Justin, you know Kori and I love it when you guys
sleep with us too.

   Justin became very quiet.  I was hugged up to him and his head was on my
arm; I felt a warm tear ... followed by another ... then I found out what
he's been keeping all locked up inside ... he said . . . . "Dad, lots of
nights I have bad dreams real bad dreams ... I'm kinda afraid of the dark.
Sometimes I just stay awake and so does Kyle that's why we sleep together
if we don't sleep with you guys.

   I held him tight as he began telling me everything he remembers about
the accident.  The car, the truck.  He said he still sees the front of the
truck as hit the side of their car.  His `bad' dreams are the repeated
nightmares so vivid making him relive that night over and over ending with
him holding his Mother as she died.  He fell asleep, I held him through the
night.

   Morning came with the sound of birds singing outside our window.  He had
the most beautiful smile and ... "gotta pee Dad" as he tossed off the
covers.  Well, so did I, ... there we were side by side with a strong
stream of pee hitting the water.  I was looking at him as he was looking at
... hmmmm, really studying my penis is what he was looking at. ...  He
looked at me and very seriously said . . . . "Dad, yours looks just like
Ethan's ... when you get old will it look old too?"

   I laughed so hard my pee hit the rim of the toilet and splashed on the
floor.  Justin started laughing so hard and shouting ... "You peed on the
floor Dad, you peed on the floor" ...  I made a big stack of pancakes for
breakfast while the little brat continued laughing on and off ... more on
than off.

   The day has started with excitement and laughter and Justin is back to
his funny little self.  I now find myself with the squeeze mop washing the
bathroom floor.  Ok so it needed to be done but, did I need a little tyrant
leaning against the door pointing out I missed a spot or two? ... worse it
was that devilish smile of his.

   The phone rang ... he ran to get the phone ... "Dad it's other `Dad' he
wants to talk to you ...  I told him you peed on the floor and was washing
it you'd call him back." ...  Justin, let me talk to Kori ...  "I hung up
Dad so you could finish washing the pee." ...  Justin when I get my hands
on you ... he was off running down the hall laughing all the way to his
room. ... Brat.

   I finished washing the floor all the time laughing to myself.  He was
happy and I was happy to see him giggling and laughing, it's funny to hear
him laugh ... even his laugh has a Korean accent.

    I told Justin to go get ready and we would hit the road as soon as the
mail arrived, then called Kori, well, I was about to call Kori when
............ Justin came screaming .... "Dad, Dad there's a huge
eight-legged predatory arachnid with huge fangs chasing me.........." ...
I'm not repeating his last 3 words; I was shocked to hear them from him.

   We crept slowly down the hall, just one foot at a time, so not to let
this gigantic spider know where we were.  Justin stepped behind me for
protection ... damn, he wasn't' right! ... It was just 10 feet inside the
room right there on the wall ... right under the window.  I could see it
without a magnifying glass, although a magnifying glass would have helped.

   It was a dark gray and white jumping spider about 3/8 or half inch in
size with fangs so big it could kill elephant ... "kill it Dad, kill it!"
...  Before I could get it, the poor thing disappeared under the window
frame.  I crumpled the toilet paper I had ... and flushed it. ... "Serves
the damn thing right.  It won't chase me no more." ... Justin!... I don't
like to hear you talking like that! ...... "Ethan n other `dad' does"
...... hmmmm, family meeting time.

   "Dad, Dad the mailman is here n he's got boxes...." ...  I wish he'd
wouldn't slam the door.  I think he almost knocked the poor postman over.
We did have boxes, 5 as a matter of fact.  There were 3 boxes for me, 1 box
for Kori, and 1 box for Ethan, ... 1 box for Ethan? ......  "Dad, something
for me and Kyle? ... Yes, Justin, there is and no you can't see it now
you'll have to wait and you and Kyle can have it together.  Hey, don't
shake that ... go put all this stuff in the Willys while I call
Kori. ... Now Justin!

   "Geeeeze `Dad' don't get your panties in a bundle." ...... Justin!, I
swear.  ...  And the phrase is, don't get your panties in a bunch, not a
bundle. ... Oh, and you and I are going to have a serious talk! ..........
He knew I was giving him a hard time but he just had to give me a `guilt
trip' and said . . . .  "Dad, you still love me, right?" ........ dang he
even had that sad face ....  Yes, Justin but that doesn't mean I can't tan
your little hide. ...... "Cows have a hide I gots a butt, you wanna
kis.... never mind `Dad' I gots stuff to do."

   That brat was being as naughty as can be but laughing all the way to the
Willys.  Better to see him like this ... he's making me laugh too.  Dang, I
love him and Kyle so much.  I called Kori and told him his new `G-track
pro' mic arrived along with the stuff for the boys and an Amazon box for
Ethan.  Kori was very quiet I asked if everything was going well..........?

   "Jake, everything is fine, can you please bring the new mic I'd like to
try it. ...  We've had a few moments nothing major; Oh, is Justin there
Kyle wants to talk to him and do us a favor stop at Elmer's Store and pick
up 4 large pizzas and 2 orders of garlic sticks and 2 jelly rolls.  When
you're leaving text me so I'll get everyone in the kitchen and Ethan and
Keith can help bring things in."

   I had this little hand sneaking into mine and gently pulling me toward
the door until I said ....  Hey twerp, your brother wants to talk to you.
Oh, he dropped my hand like it was a hot potato then the conversation went
like this ... "dangsin-i neomu geuliwoyo, maleukowa laseuga gongyeong-e
cheo haess-eoyo ulineun gwasuwon-e gom-eul chaj-agassseubnida. kolineun
jinjja hwaga nassgo ulin chaglyughaessseubnida salanghae."

   Justin didn't hand the phone back to me he just disconnected the call.
His eyes had big tears, nope he wasn't crying and just wiped his eyes and
started for the Jeep.  I grabbed his hand and asked what was wrong.  Justin
said that Kyle had said something like this .... "I miss you so much, me,
Marco, and Lars got in trouble.  We went to the orchard looking for a bear.
`Dad's really mad at me and we got grounded.  I love you, come home."

   A little hug and kiss on the top of his head and he was smiling.  We
locked the door and were off in the Willys.  We took 91 all the way from
New Haven to Ashfield ... Justin was in a hurry this time.  It was just
under 2 hours and we were parked at Elmer's Store.  I had called ahead
judging driving time so the last pizza was sliding from the oven as Justin
and I walked in.  Fresh pizza has an amazing aroma.

   As asked, I text Kori and said we were on the way.  Drove in almost to
the back door.  Ethan, Keith, Antonio and Kyle were at the Willys in
seconds and grabbed everything.  Shoes off in the mudroom ... then through
to the kitchen with everyone there and then the chat started ... loud and
everyone talking all at once.  Woooohooooooo ... and some pointing when
Kyle kissed Justin ........ dang there's that finger gesture again
... Kyle!

   Korean kids catch on fast to some things.

   The pizza, garlic sticks, and jelly roll were great and then there were
the boxes ... but, not before Neil, Peter and the rest had to show Justin
and me the new stall plaques in the barn.  So, what's with all the smiling,
giggles, chuckling?  I think something going on and Justin and I are about
to get a surprise.

   Neil opened the barn door and Kori grabbed Justin and said .... "slowly
no running" ....  The stalls were full.  Peter said .... "Jake, go look
where Finley, Eric, and Dusty were." ...  I passed each stall seeing a
boy's name alongside their horse's name.  Each name carved carefully in Old
English Black Chancery Script on a large oak plaque.

   I reached the last 4 stalls, the original stalls, on my left in Finley's
old stall the most beautiful exact duplicate of Finley.  Above the stall in
very large letters it said Finley.  On the stall door in the beautiful
Chancery Script it said `Jake -- Fargo'. ......  On Kori's stall door it
read ... `Kori -- Da Vinci'. ... I think the tears being shed told everyone
my feelings.

   Kori was standing next to me his arm around my shoulders like in a best
friend's way.  Justin gently slid his hand in mine. ... Kyle smacked me on
the butt and said ....  "Dad, you have to kiss Fargo ... we all had to kiss
our horse, you do too." ...  I laughed and as Fargo nuzzled my arm ... Yep,
I kissed his nose.

   I loved some of the names, Domino, Cinnamon, Autumn, Peter Pan,
Napoleon, and this one ... Goliath, not named particularly for his height
but for the length of something.  It was Kyle's gelding in the stall next
to Da Vinci and he proudly explained why the name. ...  dang, when he took
a pee Kyle was right! ... Now I know where "Hung like a horse comes from"

   A little hand was pulling very hard for me to look at his horse.  In the
stall next to Fargo stood this beautiful Chestnut.  He stood 15 hands, I
think big for Justin, but he had to be Justin's gelding because on the door
it said ... Justin -- Sydney ... in that beautiful Black Chancery Script on
a polished Oak plaque. ...  I lifted Justin and like Fargo ... Sydney
nuzzled Justin and the deed was done.

   I heard Peter ... "Don't just stand there get the tack, lets ride." ...
Neil and Peter had thought of everything.  His boys were measured and using
their measurements saddles for Kyle and Justin were purchased.  Then
yesterday they went up to Bennington to get everything we may need.  Well,
at least for a little time.

   With everyone in the saddle, we began our ride down through the lower
pasture out the gate passing the newly poured foundation for Neil and
Peter's house.  In just minutes we were in the old orchard and that is when
Kori filled me in on the little problem they had with Marco, Lars, and
Kyle.

   It seems that when Justin and I left for New Haven Kyle didn't want to
go ... had plans is what he said ... so he did ... and those 3 brats went
looking for a bear taking along baseball bats for protection.  Ethan and
Keith were looking for the 3 little trouble makers when Keith spotted them
on the run back up through the pastures ...  It was Lars that was doing
most of the screaming about something chasing them.

   It seems the story was that the 3 of them were about in the middle of
the orchard when Marco saw something move ... then Kyle said it was the big
black bear. ...  According to Marco and Lars, Kyle said it's killed people
before and all hell broke loose as the 3 musketeers ran for their lives.

   Now for the truth ... yes, there was a large animal with 4 legs.  Yes,
it was heading directly toward the 3 boys.  Although it had 4 legs it
wasn't a people eating black bear.  So, what was it? I asked ....  Kori had
this huge smile as he said ... "a small white-tailed deer. ... but they're
still grounded!"

   We finished our ride, groomed the horses and it was time for dinner.
Kori and Peter had made one of Liam's meatloaf's with sweet potato and
glazed carrots and a big cake to end with.  We enjoyed a movie together and
then the same old routine for bedtime ... showers, a little snack and off
to bed.

   I looked at Keith ... he was looking at Antonio who was looking at Ethan
and I already know what they were thinking.  I couldn't resist and took 3
of the new towels and just as they were heading to go down to the music
room/bedroom, they make music there, I called Antonio and handed him the
towels. ... Damn, that kid is so cute. ... He looked at me ... winked
... and said ... "maybe someday?"  ... it was the question, I could have
grabbed him right there.......................

   I was already all chubbed up and thinking it would be great if Kori and
I could have the night to ourselves but, with Justin acting the way he's
been I suspected we would have company.  Well, Kori and I did have an
amazing shower.  I was only gone a night but, Wowww ... somebody was hot.
Keith had given Kori the tube of Pina Colada Juicy Lube early in the
day........

   Oh, geeeeze is this stuff slippery and when it's on a person it tastes
just like Pina Colada.  ...  Ask me I know ...  seriously Kori's dick
tasted good and he was hot. ...  I'm not saying anymore; I'll leave it to
your imagination.

   I guess Justin and Kyle had missed each other so Kori and I did get the
night to cuddle.  It was that wonderful aroma of Amoretto coffee and bacon
that had me up first. ...  I turned looked at sleeping beauty and pulled
him out of bed and into a nice warm shower.  We both enjoyed a little extra
protein before breakfast.  Pina Colada tasting protein ... yummm.

   Ethan, Antonio, and Keith were in the funniest of moods giggling and
vibrating all around the kitchen while presenting the rest of us with a
delicious New England breakfast.  Neil, Peter, Lars, Lukas were at their
end of the table Lorenzo, Kori and I were at the opposite end.  Heaping
plates of scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, and toast were hitting the
table when Marco, Kyle and Justin appeared all smiles and laughing.

   Justin was holding his right hand under his left arm and Kori and I
could hear like a humming or vibrating noise.  I said ... Justin what's
that? ... "Dunno `Dad', but it tickles and feels good." as he pulled out a

... OMG .... Neil and Peter went into a fit of laughter and that was when
Ethan spotted it.

   Well, now Lars, Lorenzo, Lukas wanted it.  Keith, Ethan, and Antonio
were trying to get it and Kori and I only hoped it had been washed as it
was tossed from Marco to Lorenzo.  The damn thing was buzzing and when hit
the table it was a jumping all over the place.  Ethan nearly jumped on the
table after it.  He was so red.  Antonio, on the other hand, was on the
floor near the stove laughing so hard he couldn't get up.

   Keith looked at Justin ... Justin looked at Keith.  Now Justin loves
Keith to death, he really does and Keith loves Justin to death and that's
where it was heading if Keith got hold of Justin.

   Things settled down but not before Ethan gave Justin, Kyle, and Marco
the look ... the Look that said ... "you were in my bedroom again." ...
Things were slightly quieter but, Lorenzo, Lars, Lukas, Marco, Justin, Kyle
wanted to know what it was.  Kori had the answer ...  Ethan, Keith, not
Antonio, but Ethan, and Keith were going to sit with all the other boys and
give them an anatomy lesson and explain why `this thing' feels good to
`older boys' and men ... well, some men.

   Just as Kori and I finished dishes and cleaned the table, with bleach
and alcohol, Antonio whispered in my ear .... "holy cow that thing made me
drool huge amounts of you know what ... but, Keith had the
most................"
