Any Comments appreciated at hotboy__28@hotmail.com Accidents will Happen Chapter 5 I woke with a start, hearing a shrill but distant noise that I suddenly realized to be a mobile phone. I was used to waking to noises like this from my times on call however this time I knew the ring tone wasn't mine. Dylan was still asleep lying on my chest as I glanced across at the clock, the digital numbers telling me it was 11am. Dylan and I had been sleeping for nearly 3 and a half hours. "Oh Fuck, Dylan quick wake up" I said gently shaking him from his slumber. Dylan opened his eyed slowly and from the look on his face not immediately remembering or recognizing where he was. Dylan started to wake up, looked up towards me and then gave me a full faced cheeky smile. "Hey Doc, how's it hanging?" he said groggily giggling to himself before gently and lovingly planting a soft sensual kiss on my lips. My heart melted, Dylan had gotten under my skin in a big way, he was perfect, beautiful and cheeky, I just couldn't not love him. "Hey Buddy, look I don't want to freak you out but its 11am and your mobiles been ringing! "Oh Shit, I'm late for school, my Mom's gonna kill me if she finds out." Dylan sprang off the bed and headed into the kitchen to pick his mobile up out of his jeans pocket. "Shit, Shit, Shit" Dylan said looking like he was about to burst in to tears. "It's my Mom, she's tried to call me like 10 times. What am I going to tell her?" Dylan couldn't hold back his tears as they started free falling down his beautiful cheeks. "Give me your phone buddy" I said taking the phone from Dylan. "I'll get you out of this. What's your Mom's name?" "Its Jane, Jane Henderson" he replied trying to stop the tears turning into a full blown sob. I dialed the number and it was answered on the first ring. "Oh Dylan thank God where have you been, I have been worried sick?" said a frantic voice on the other end of the phone. "Is that Mrs. Henderson?" I asked trying not to sound too official and panicking the poor women. My efforts at not sounding official had obviously failed dismally as Dylan's Mom went immediately silent and started sobbing on the end of the phone. "Mrs. Henderson, please don't cry" I said trying to calm he down. "My name is Dan Thomson, Dr. Dan Thomson, I work at the Fielding County Hospital. Please don't panic Mrs. Henderson Dylan is completely fine." Hearing me ask his Mother not to cry had a profound affect on Dylan and his tears turned into a sob as he covered his face with his hands and sobbed uncontrollably into them. "Mrs. Henderson, I am not calling in an official capacity, I live at 27 Rosemount Street and Dylan delivers papers to my house, however this morning as I was getting home from a night shift I witnessed Dylan have an accident on his bike." I could hear Dylan's Mom take a deep breath trying to work out what was happening. "But Dr. Thomson you said Dylan was fine?" She asked uncertainly. "Yes Mrs. Henderson that's right, Dylan's perfectly fine apart from a couple of cuts and scrapes from coming off his bike. I hope you don't mind but I brought Dylan inside my house so I could help him, he was rather upset and shaken after the accident. I cleaned and dressed his wounds, however after I'd finished Dylan complained of feeling nauseous so I let him have a lie on my couch for a while but unfortunately he fell asleep." Dylan's Mom let out a huge sigh of what I can only describe as one of overwhelming relief as her worst fears had been shattered and she realized her son was safe and well. I'm very sorry Mrs. Henderson I didn't realize Dylan had a phone until I heard it ring just now or I would most certainly have called you earlier. But most importantly is don't worry, Dylan is fine and if you'd like to you can come round now and pick him up you're completely welcome to do so, or I can, of course, drop him off home for you. I don't think it's wise that he rides his bike for a while to give his wounds a chance to heal." Dylan's Mom said she'd come right away, I gave her my address again and she said she'd be there in 30 minutes as she was at work. I told her that was fine and she should take her time. She thanked me and hung up. All the time I was on the phone to his Mom poor Dylan had been almost inconsolable. I went over to him and put my arms around my young beau and hugged him close to me. It was clear that Dylan was close to his Mom and the thought that she thought he was seriously injured or indeed dead and torn him up inside. "It's ok Dylan, its all fine now" I said drawing him closer. "You're Mom's fine and she's on her way round to pick you up." "Thank you Doc" Dylan said in between sobs. I pulled Dylan's face from my chest, put my hands on his cheeks and moved his head so we had eye contact. "Come on buddy, we better get you cleaned up before your Mom gets here or she's going to call the Cops on me" I said winking at Dylan. Dylan's face changed and a smile slowly creepy across. "I wouldn't let her Doc, you're mine now no ones taking you away." I was deeply touched by Dylan's comment and my heart ached for him. "Dylan you know we can't tell anyone about this, particularly not your Mom" I said. I must have looked worried as Dylan through his arms round me and hugged me hard and long. "Don't worry Doc, it's our secret until the right time comes" Until the right time comes... Those words stuck in my head and I smiled from ear to ear. "What's wrong Doc" Dylan asked as he looked at me and the wide smile on my face. "Oh nothing to worry about cutie" I said planting a soft kiss on his lips. "Right you, lets get you ready for when your Mom arrives" I said, gently smacking Dylan's bare ass as he bent down to pick his clothes up off the kitchen floor.
