Set up shortly after the War by a small group of like minded men, St Rogers is home to orphaned boys who had nowhere else to go once the hostilities ended. We are in the rolling English countryside just a few miles from Little Budhole & Greater Cockholme where we receive much local support from dignitaries and men of standing. Thanks to the disruption brought on by the War we were able to set up the home in an old Country manor without having to go through too much red tape and we are forever in the debt of those officials who sped through our application and asked no more than they be allowed to regularly visit and check on the boys development. The Home is run on the principals of its founders namely, fresh air, naturism, brotherly community and quenching the boys need for education. We have a marvellous film and photography department where for a small nominal fee, keen lovers of this art can visit and take advantage of the facilities we offer. Funds are always tight and at the moment the boys have to share sleeping facilities with other boys or the staff that live and work there, to raise more money we offer weekends to men of a certain approved character who can enjoy working with the staff and observing and participating in what we do to prepare the boys for taking on the challenge of becoming good public servants. The boys are aged from around 7 to 14 and have all passed a rigorous physical examination before being welcolmed into the home. A record is kept of each boy's vital statistics, identifying marks & appearance & should any of them ever go missing, photos of each boy both naked and clothed has been taken from every angle and kept on file in the headmaster's office. Should any generous and public spirited gentleman wish to invest or donate to the home, the book is available for him to look through at his leisure in order to ascertain the quality of each boy and what he may offer to any groups or individuals interested. The book is also regularly used by our local church led by Father Fiddler who goes through it with the Vicar, Mr Fatcoque & the Choir master Mr Loveboyce in order to choose boys who may benefit from joining the other altar boys from the village and join the village choir and enjoy one of the many regular weekends away at the Archbishop's mansion and retreat where they entertain some of the most important men in the county & indeed country. Chapter 2 A typical day at St Rogers home for young boys In response to some inquiries & to help our benefactors & supporters understand more about the workings of the school, the headmaster, Mr Longstaff, has asked me to let you know how the day begins at St Rogers. The boys are awoken early by our long serving handyman & caretaker Mr Seamen, he enters the dorm where the boys sleep two to a bed due to shortages & pulls back the covers of all the beds. The boys all have pyjamas but Mr Seamen often finds that these have been discarded in the night or the pyjama bottoms are around the boys ankles. Any boys found to be semi naked or naked are reported to their housemaster where they will have to give a full and explicit explanation. The boys then get up and have 2 minutes to remove their pyjamas, make their beds and stand ready at the end of the beds in their pairs with washbag in on hand and towel in the other. Mr Seamen will then inspect each bed and give any boy who doesn't reach the expected standard a spanking. Then it's off to the washrooms. The boys put on their flip flops and still carrying their towel and washbag, march naked across the courtyard where they will stop outside the headmaster's window and salute him when he appears, often with a local dignitary there as his guest. In the showers the boys pair up as before and wash each other front and back in order to encourage the teamwork and boy on boy friendship we treasure so much at the school. After 5 minutes Mr Seamen inspects all the boys to make sure they are properly washed, the boys know they must face forward and then turn around and bend over for Mr Seamen is very strict about cleanliness. The boys then dress and are ready for the day. PS We have noticed that where the school is exposed to the public road a number of local men gather to watch the boys as they march past & it has become traditional for the boys to wave and pose for the many spectators, some of whom have brought cameras and cine cameras. We are always keen to maintain a good relationship with the local villages but would ask that you take care of the hedges that allow access to the school. Thank you In Chapter 3 we find out about a potential scandal at the home after reports of lewd behaviour between a group of the very youngest boys and a much older lad from outside the home are the subject of gossip and rumour in the local men's sports club and local pub.... feedback welcome at naughtybutnice@linuxmail.org
