Luke and John knew how devious their mother could be at times and this was definitely one of those many times in their lives. Enos made a point to meet privately with Luke and John as he needed some help. "How do I tell Mama Bear that I want to live with the imps at Fort Connor?" You two have told me so many great stories about you growing up at Fort Connor and I love the imps and it would be so great to live around imps my age.
Luke and John assured Enos Mama Bear only wanted the best possible life and future for this precious imp. Just be honest with her and know whatever decision she makes it will be what is best for your life.
As a tearful Enos knocked at the door of Mama Bear's study... he walked in tightly holding the hands of Luke and John. "Am I facing a mutiny of my sons?" As Enos tearfully told Mama Bear as much as he loved her and all the Worthingtons have done for me... I want to live with the imps at Fort Connor.
"Is that all... have I got a deal for you!" Mama Bear continued... I'm leaving on an around the world business junket and will be meeting influential people of foreign countries keeping them current of all the technology Worthington Industries can provide for the security of their country. We will be gone for a month. Would you like to be my +1? You'll have to do your homework online during our trip but you will get to meet the children of influential people whose friendship will be of great benefit in your adult life.
When we return from our trip, if you still want to live at Fort Connor I'll talk with the Generals and make it happen. Enos jumped into the arms of Mama Bear and smothered her with kisses. OK, off to bed, I'll have our friendly tailor here tomorrow morning. You'll need a couple of new business suits and a tuxedo for formal events. In the business world of us Worthingtons, clothes do make the difference at times.
Our friendly tailor was elated to return to the Worthington Penthouse and retake the measurements of Enos for some business suits and a formal tuxedo. Our little imp would steal the hearts of everyone he meets... Our friendly tailor silently pledge that Enos would always be the best dressed Worthington.
POTUS knew exactly what Mama Bear was doing when he was contacted and informed of the need for a diplomatic passport for the newest member of the Worthington family. Mama Bear always flew on a diplomatic passport which made it easier for her and her security detail to enter any country. POTUS smiled at Mama Bear and only commented "You are starting him young"? "No younger than I did Luke and John and they turned out leaders of industries with a philanthropic heart!"
POTUS reminded Mama Bear to make sure Enos has his Military ID and Presidential Coin with him at all times. We both hope he'll never have to use them but in todays political climate one never knows.
It was no surprise the first stop on their around the world junket was to London England which required an audience with Her Majesty the Queen. As the palace extended an invitation to Mama Bear +1 to join Her Majesty for High Tea. Gloria immediately graciously accepted the invitation as she knew she and the Queen would spend hours talking about their being Mothers and Grandmothers. Both great women of the world were proud of their families. They both broke up in laughter as they talked about the nude video of Prince Harry. "Grandma Windsor" only quietly commented she wished she was 50 years younger and single." I have a hot stud for a grandson! And the entire world now knows of his British "assets".
The two women quietly chuckled as they sipped their tea and enjoyed their finger food. Enos had no idea of how his Mother and the Queen shared the private moments of their lives as proud mothers and grandmothers. Mama Bear related the incident that brought Enos into her Worthington Family and the Queen was horrified at the thought of a family hunting down a child regardless of his sexual orientation.
As our two female friends were sharing their lives and hopes for the future... Enos was getting the full tour of Buckingham Palace by none other than HRH Prince William. There are times when a member of the Royal Family does a task because it needs to be done and becoming a friend of a future powerful member of the Worthington Family will definitely be of benefit to England.
As the Prince and Enos entered the throne room... the Queen and Mama Bear entered and both men bowed respectfully. Enos started to tremble as Her Majesty the Queen asked him to knell before her. It was her pleasure to be the first person to recognize a future world leaders. "It is my great pleasure to present you with the Knights Grand Cross of the Royal Guelphic Order." As Prince William helped his mother to adjust the Sash to Enos's small body... he was bursting with pride and graciously thanked Her Majesty for the great honor he had received.
Oh, were the phone lines burning between London and Washington. The United States Ambassador in London advised the Secretary of State in Washington who in turn advised the President of this surprising event and honor bestowed upon Enos.
POTUS was not to be upstaged even by the Queen of England. Advising our Ambassador in London to immediately have a formal diplomatic dinner in honor of the Worthingtons and on behalf of the President of the United States present Enos with my Presidential Breast Badge. I don't need the approval of Congress to appoint him as my Special Envoy. The minute the Alpha Zulu Generals heard the news they demanded POTUS include their six star breast badge in the overnight packet being sent to the United States Ambassador in London.
As Mama Bear and Enos arrived at the impromptu diplomatic event... the Ambassador was doing too much smiling. Mama Bear dazzled everyone with the light glistening off her famous diamonds she wore. But Enos was shocked to be in such demand from all the diplomats present. The diplomats who had sons accompanying them on their appointment to London all invited Enos to meet their family. Mama Bear had accomplished her goal when she asked Enos to join her on her business "junket".
Enos received much recognition as his history and reputation preceded him as Mama Bear visited country after country.
In the Netherlands Enos was presented with The Order of Orange-Nassau
In Norway Enos was presented with the The King's Medal of Merit in GOLD.
In Sweden Enos was presented with the Seraphim Medal
In Finland Enos was presented with the Grand Cross of the Order of the Lion of Finland
In Germany Enos was presented with the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany
In Belgium Enos was presented the Civic Decoration
In Italy Enos was presented with the Order of the Crown of Italy
The Vatican presented Enos with the Supreme Order of Christ
In Israel Enos was presented with the Medal of Distinguished Service
In Nepal Enos was present with the Star of Nepal
In Japan Enos was presented the Order of the Rising Sun (First Class)
(Hikaru was making certain Japan would not be upstaged by any other country.)
Enos had a tearful moment while he and Mama Bear were in Italy. She asked Enos if he would allow the Pope to baptize him in the Catholic Faith. It would mean much to Mama Bear. The Generals had agreed to be his Godfathers and would participate by video conference.
As the little imp rushed into the arms of Mama Bear the tears of happiness streaming down his face she knew no verbal answer was required. Enos was baptized during a private Mass celebrated for Mama Bear and for all the Worthingtons have done and are doing for world peace. Enos was a member of a long line of Worthingtons dedicated to the Catholic faith and the goal of bringing peace to the world and to improve the lives of those less fortunate.
This trip had been a fantastic experience for Enos and Mama Bear, Luke, John, POTUS and the Generals were elated at it being successful beyond their wildest expectations. That is until they reached Tokyo.
Mama Bear and Enos were invited by the Emperor (Daiki) as his guest at the Imperial Palace. Hikaru all but demanded Mama Bear to allow Enos to accompany him and meet his Special Forces friends. Enos was overjoyed meeting the Japanese counterpart of Alpha Zulu. (Even if the men asked Hikaru if he had delivered on his promise to give Soshi a blow job?) Hikaru just took it as being part of this "Band of Brothers" and like all family's... brothers can be a real pain in the ass at times.
Kichōna one evening approached Mama Bear and extended an invitation from his family to invite Enos to join them for their evening meal. Enos will be well protected by the best men of my father's security forces. And Kichōna personally vouched for the safety of Enos with his life.
Mama Bear informed Enos who Kichōna's father was and how he had helped the Worthingtons and the United States in the past. Refusing his invitation was be taken as an insult to the family. Enos knew this was an evening he had to act and be the Special Envoy for both POTUS, the United States and the Worthington family.
Kichōna was embarrassed as his older brother kept showing off his new baby and the fact his wife was pregnant again. (At least the family linage was secure and knowing his brother his poor wife would be kept pregnant for years.)
Kichōna's father was the ultimate host and just walking through their magnificent garden and seeing the Koi swimming over to the man to be hand fed... he couldn't believe this gentle man was the head of the Yakuza.
As the evening was ending, Enos bowed and thanked everyone for such a wonderful evening.
As Enos was relaxing after a wonderful evening with Kichōna's family... without warning the security vehicles both in front of and behind their transport exploded killing their security detail. Kichōna told Enos when the door opens run as fast and as far as you can and get away from here. I'll hold them off and provide cover fire.
The first hostile that opened the door of their vehicle immediately had a 9mm round embedded in his brain killing him instantly. This caused the remaining assailants to reconsider how to extract Enos so they could hold him for ransom.
Kichōna emerged from the vehicle and told Enos to RUN as he provided cover fire until his gun was empty. Kichōna went down fighting and the if the assailants knew who they had injured they would have killed themselves. The Yakuza would assure their deaths were as painful as possible.
Enos ran until he was exhausted. As terrified as he was he finally saw a huge building with a tall flagpole flying the Stars and Stripes of the United States. As the exhausted imp reached the building he was denied entrance by two large Marines on duty.
"I have men trying to kill me, I need to see the Ambassador!" The response from the Marines they were to later regret as they told Enos to go home to his mother. "My mother is the guest of the Emperor at the Palace." As they laughed at the comment... Enos handed the Marine his military ID and Presidential Challenge Coin they started to realize they had made a career ending mistake.
Contacting the head of security and advising there was a young child requesting to see the Ambassador. He has a military ID with a security clearance higher than you Sir... plus a Presidential Challenge Coin.
As the head of security informed the Marines on duty to protect that child with your lives and the use of lethal force is authorized. Let him in the damn gate!
Before the Marines could open the gate and allow Enos to enter, a non-descript van came to a squealing halt in front of the gate and two men attempted to drag Enos into the van with them.
Two hostiles quickly learned that two Marine Force Recon soldiers were deadly accurate with their guns. As the two hostiles dropped to the ground DEAD, Enos rushed into the Embassy and into the arms of the Ambassador.
Mama Bear went into hostile attack mode the minute she heard Enos was missing. Immediately contacting Omoikane she wanted to know the locations of Enos. Where is that damn chip right now! Mama Bear breathed easier when Omoikane informed her he was located within the United States Embassy in Tokyo.
Mama Bear then asked OPS to put her in contact with the Ambassador in Tokyo. Thanking the Ambassador for protecting her son, Japanese Special Forces will be arriving shortly to provide secure transport for him to return to the palace.
Even Enos was shocked at the show of force provided by his new Special Forces friends he had just met a few days ago. A quick trip to the Palace and being met by Palace Security, Hikaru and Mama Bear... Enos felt safe as he cried being held in the secure arms of Mama Bear.
When Mama Bear asked if she could meet with the two Marines that saved Enos's life... the Ambassador only commented they wouldn't be having much free time for a few days as they were removing a strip from their uniforms. If they had followed protocol, Enos could have never faced a second abduction attempt.
Finally, Enos realized Kichōna wasn't there... he demanded to know if he survived the attack. Kichōna was alive but severely injured. He is currently in surgery fighting for his life. His family is at the hospital and the Emperor is planning on going to him as soon as he is out of surgery.
As the Special Forces soldiers returned the next morning to provide security for the Emperor, Hikaru and Enos to see Kichōna and his family at the hospital. As the family members bowed respectfully to the Emperor as he entered the room... Kichōna was still unconscious from his long and involved surgery but the family shared the doctors opinion that he would make a full recovery.
Enos quietly slipped his Presidential Challenge Coin into the hand of the man who had saved his life. He had no idea of how long Mama Bear would now be staying in Tokyo but he wanted Kichōna to know he was grateful for his sacrifice.
It would be years before Enos would realize the comment Kichōna's brother whispered into the ear of the unconscious man. "Don't worry little brother, I flipped the switch for you." Even Enos was in shock when he finally realized the men who attempted to kidnap him were ground into Shark Chum ALIVE screaming in agonizing pain till the end.
Returning to Washington POTUS was elated at what he and the Queen of England had started. They knew Enos was on a path to greatness within the Worthington world. It was a surprise even to Mama Bear when Enos was presented with the United States Department of State Meritorious Honor Award at a special ceremony at the White House.
Enos knew something was up when our Friendly Tailor arrived and announced he had to have a final fitting for his new uniform. "What uniform?" Mama Bear only smiled and commented it was on a need to know basis so don't ask questions and cooperate with our Friendly Tailor. Putting a mask over Enos face, he knew this would be a major event in his life.
