The nursing staff was proactive enough to enter the room and inject a sedative into Mama Bear's IV line which returned her to slumber land.

 

Now the hardest task of my life as I stood by my good friend as our Cardinal Chaplain blessed him and the medical staff turned off the mechanical life support. Luke Worthington was now at his eternal rest and we knew our little friend Roger had escorted him to the gates of heaven.

Yes, my decision would cut down on the profit margin for Worthingtons' but the primary concern will always be what is in the best interest of our Military and would provide the best chance to avoid injury or death to our dedicated soldiers.

 

The White House Sharks were all over the White House Press Secretary asking why our Navy ships stations in Hawaii and on the West Coast of the United States all went to sea amass. The comment of "Naval War Games" didn't satisfy the Sharks and we knew it was only a matter of time before the news broke.

 

I was shocked to hear SecDef was requesting admittance. I welcomed my old friend and asked what I could to for him today. He didn't have time for niceties... he needed Omoikane and he needed him now.

 

I escorted my good friend to our secure R&D compound and fortunately the security on duty knew enough not to deny access to the Secretary of Defense.

 

Asking Omoikane if his office was secure... Omoikane assured us it was swept for listening devices a minimum of three times a day.

 

We have unprecedented cooperation with Russia and China in our attack upon North Korea. China has closed its border with North Korea and is stationing their anti-missile forces on the border and are prepared to shoot down any missile launched from North Korea.

As our Satellites started to show system after system of the North Korean Military going dark SecDef applauded the work of our little nerd. Omoikane would be adding a silver star to his military uniform for this highly classified work.

 

Thanking me and SecDef for the opportunity to serve his country he commented the award he wanted was eight hours in bed with his partner uninterrupted.

God heard our prayers and a little angel by the name of Roger came to Mama Bear and they had a discussion that would make a Command Sergeant Major blush.

Mama Bear never disclosed the content of what Roger shared with her but her mental attitude greatly improved and with it her physical health. After months in guarded condition the doctors changed it to STABLE! We all were excited at the good news.

 

Mama Bear still had work to do in this life and the drive to fulfill her destiny helped to make her stronger every day.

 

Quietly requesting the director of the Worthington Foundation to visit her he was given his marching orders to find two young boys, twins if possible who needed a forever family. Enos and Jon would soon be the proud parents and Mama Bear would fulfill her role as head of the Worthington family.

 

Mama Bear was hospitalized for nearly a year before the doctors felt she was able to return home even with the family guaranteeing 24/7 nursing care being provided.

 

I was shocked when Enos, Omoikane and the Architects showed me the makeover of the Penthouse. It was beautiful beyond description. The public areas were done in French Renaissance Revival style as was Mama Bear's Master Bedroom. The room adjoining Mama Bear's bedroom with the Nursery for baby Gloria and separate accommodations for a live in Nanny. The baby Gloria is what will give Mama Bear the desire to return to her normal life and be the loving mother we all want in our lives.

 

A separate wing of the Penthouse was redone in a Medieval masculine style and Enos and Jon had a gourmet chef kitchen with every imaginable accessory to allow them to master their culinary skills.

 

Their wing of the house contained their Master Bedroom which was built in the style of an ancient Roman brothel. (Yes, these two are still madly in love.)

 

The Penthouse now had 8 additional guests suites, a great room connecting to a massive dining room and a home office with every technical device Omoikane could pack into it.

 

Every bedroom had a secure gun safe which could be programed to the user's handprint. The secure armory was well stocked to defend the Penthouse if anyone could breach the new massive doors.

 

What impressed me the most was the massive doors which were added to the Penthouse. Omoikane designed them and guaranteed they could withstand a direct hit from an Abraham's tank and still remain functional.

 

When I got the bill for the doors which was north of $250,000.00 USD + installation... I had to know what cost so much. When I learned the custom hardwood doors hand carved with the Worthington Crest were laminated and held a thick titanium core and was so perfectly balance the massive doors could be opened using one fingers unless it was in the secure locked position.

 

The Door can now be locked internally by the Worthingtons, Externally by Security or automatically with the activation of the security AI. The elevator access to the Penthouse are now encoded so it takes not only the right security code to access the override but also a retinal scan and a DNA sample to make any changes. And, if any changes are made by anyone security is immediately notified as is my smartphone.

 

Never again will we allow Mama Bear to be put in danger. She has paid a heavy price for her dedication to our country and to our military.
