The entire day all the media networks were announcing an Address by the President to Congress and the American People in Prime Time tonight. This address was carried worldwide by the media and results of a preponderance of approval from most countries.

 

We knew the show was starting when we heard the words: "Mr. Speaker, the President of the United States".

 

After the long and customary naming of the officials present the President paused and boldly stated: "The United States is at War"! It was unbelievable but there were no leaks and the media was totally blindsided.

 

At 0001 hour local time the combined military of the United States starting shelling shore military bases and our Guided Missile Carriers and Submarines launched over 100 cruise missiles at the military command and control centers of North Korea. This was followed up by B-1B Lancer bombers out of Guam dropping 50,000 pound each of explosives adding to the destruction of all known Command and Control Centers in North Korea.

 

We have visual and verbal confirmation of North Korean soldiers throwing down their arms and running for their lives.

 

Let me make it perfectly clear... the United States will not agree to a negotiated settlement. Our goal is the complete destruction of the leadership of North Korea and their Military and the reunification of the Korean Peninsula. The mistake we made nearly 70 years ago will never be repeated again.

 

We know North Korea has infiltrated the United States with the intent of attacking our Military and destroying our Military supply chain. To those North Koreans currently in the United States surrender to our FBI and we will treat you humanely as Prisoners of War.

 

Attack our country in any way and you will be met with lethal force and if you survive you will be put on trial as a foreign spy in the time of war by a military tribunal and if found guilty executed by a military firing squad. There will be no long drawn out court battles, the sentences rendered will be reviewed by the Military Command and I will sign off before any one is executed.

 

The President functions as Commander in Chief of the Military and I take that responsibility seriously. I have notified all 50 governors that I am federalizing the National Guard to provide internal security as a proactive approach to protect our military and our military supply chain.

 

I urge American Citizen to take the postings at all Military Bases and Military suppliers seriously when it states: "The use of lethal force has been authorized". There will be no warning shots given, the first shot will be meant to kill.

 

Finally, after two weeks of bombs and missiles attacking North Korea it was time for the Army and the Marines to invade and mop up the remnants of their politicians and military.

 

Entering Pyongyang our military was shocked to find the political leaders of North Korea executed by hanging either by their own military or citizens.

 

Mopping up the command and control centers we found the majority of senior military leaders executed by firing squad.

 

What political civilian and military command and control remained surrender without incident to the troops of the United States. They would be fairly treated until it could be determined if they were guilty of any war crimes.

 

Within a month United States Forces had complete control of North Korea and waited for the United Nations to assume a peace keeping action and start the reunification of North and South Korea into ONE KOREA!

 

Finally, as a military professional I felt confident we had reached the point where we had succeeded in our goal of destroying North Korea and now we had to rebuild a unified Korea.

 

We got too confident the war was over. As Enos exited Omoikane's secure compound for his morning trip to my office... Jon exited their temporary home to give Enos something he had forgotten. Seeing a drone diving out of the protection of the Sun, Jon hit Enos with a body block and covered his body protecting him.

 

Executive Security opened up with their combat shotguns but not fast enough. The drone had managed to discharge a few rounds of armor piercing round which would have killed Enos but left Jon in a life and death struggle.

 

The ICU nurses at George Washington were used to seeing our charming faces enter their domain. I definitely hoped they didn't piss off the little imp with us because in the mood he was in at the moment with a few strokes of his small fingers the entire payroll program of the hospital would cease to exist.

 

The doctors told Enos the next 12 hours would make the different. You have a strong young man so we hope for a positive prognosis. To my surprise, shortly after our arrival our ever faithful Cardinal Chaplain joined our vigil for Jon.

 

When I asked our Cardinal Chaplain how he got off base at Fort Connor. POTUS must have locked it down tight the minute he heard of the attack on Jon.

 

My good and trusted friend only smiled and commented: "God works in mysterious ways" and "Sometimes it isn't what you know but who you know that counts".

 

Rod was furious when he learned the Chaplain left Fort Connor when it was locked down. The man broke so many protocols he should be court martialed. Part of Rod wanted to send the man to confinement and the other "father" part of Rod wanted to thank the man for providing solace to our family.

 

Rod breathed easier when he received a Presidential Pardon for the Chaplain. He wouldn't be forced to take administrative action on his good friend and a man who has done so much good for our men of Alpha Zulu.

 

By morning Jon was responding well to treatment and we all were enthusiastic when he opened his eyes and clasp the hand of his partner.

 

His first words made us all smile: "What did you do to me little man, my ass hurts like hell".

 

Enos smiled and told Jon the doctors had to really dig out shrapnel from your sexy ass. You'll have some great scars to show off to our sons when they ask what you did in the war.

 

"SONS?"... While you were in slumber land Mama Bear informed me that there were two young imps waiting at the orphanage for a forever family.

 

As soon as the doctors release you and you can walk comfortably... we will start our new family and our future as loving fathers.
