*=Gone but not forgotten

Fortunately, our gunshot wounds were "through and through" wounds and didn't strike any major organ or body structure. That didn't mean they didn't HURT LIKE HELL! As much as I wanted to hold and cuddle Shawn and thank him for saving everyones life it was just too painful. Sitting in a comfortable chair I asked him to gently crawl into my lap so I could hug and kiss him. Matt demanded parody.

Duke and Dale were so upset they didn't hear the exchange of gunfire so Duke could have helped. The best possible choice was forced upon you two being locked away. Even if the intruder had killed all three of us security would have filled our quarters before your door could have been breached. If either of you two ever feel there is danger in our quarters I ORDER YOU to stay sheltered in place. Do not engage the hostile unless absolutely necessary. That is why you have a panic button and we have base security.

Matt and I have been shot far too many times in our lives but it seemed as we get older the more energy it robs from our body as we heal and the longer it takes for us to resume a normal life. I couldn't wait for Doc to give us the OK to get back to PE and start working on these muscles that have atrophied. Besides, Alexander has an abundance of doggie treats to work off on the treadmill with me. It seems like a base conspiracy to keep that furry mooch oversupplied with doggie treats.

Shawn was the hero of the day even if he was burdened with guilt at killing a person. The Chaplain constantly tried to explain to him what he did was necessary and saved the life of his fathers. If you were in the military they would award you a silver star for your action. As it is, your fathers are so proud to have a son with such a sharp mind and composure to act in the same way as any man in combat. You were faced with a terrible decision whether to take a life or lose two fathers, your brother and the man who you love as a brother. It is normal to feel remorse and to second guess your actions but you did the right thing and every man on base will confirm my feelings.

Dale actually helped Shawn to heal when he got the two of them alone and they became a torrent of tears. Dale was crying profusely at nearly losing both of his fathers and Shawn was crying at taking the life of a human being. Dale held his brother tight and told him if he had lost the three of you I wouldn't want to continue living. I love Duke but I also love the three of you. It is one thing to lose our fathers due to illness or age but to have them die protecting me, I doubt if I could survive and move on with my life. You are my hero and I'll never be able to thank you enough for what you did. Dale's honest feelings and candid remarks from his heart started Shawn on the road to healing. Now the Chaplain could work his "miracle" and our family again had two loving sons.

Ninety days R&R and POTUS was chomping at the bit wanting HIS Generals back for some high profile diplomatic missions. Japan and Korea were high on the list of countries to visit and of course Dale had already received an invitation to meet with the son of the government officials.

Shawn didn't know if he wanted to join us on our junket to Asia after the last trip and almost getting blown out of the sky by a missile. Bob and Danny assured us they would take good care of Shawn if he decided to stay at Fort Connor. At least the long ride on our behemoth gave Matt, Dale, Duke and I time to freely discuss the idea of getting a dedicated bodyguard for Shawn. Duke commented he wouldn't be jealous and could understand and appreciate our rationale. Dale had to smile and quip knowing his brother you might as well put in the order for his bedroom walls to be filled with sound deadening foam while we are on this junket. That made all of us laugh and our support staff wondering about the joke.

I send off an Email to our HR Dream Team stating my request and as we did with Duke we wanted a youngish, educated, combat seasoned, soldier enlisted or officer. We'd like files on three possible candidates on my desk when we returned from this junket.

Shawn should have joined us on the trip, it was beautiful weather and time for plenty of sightseeing. Matt and I made certain to visit the troops deployed in Korea. We too often have tunnel vision about our troops in the middle-east and forget about the troops stationed on the border of the most volatile and renegade country in the world. The look of shock on the face of the troops when they lined up at the field kitchen for their meal only to see two six star generals standing in line with them. Officer cliques are a thing of the past and officers have to learn their number one priority is their men, not enhancing their career or chance for promotion. If it wasn't for the enlisted soldier there wouldn't be an Army.

Finally, airborne and heading back to the USA I asked the pilots to make a detour to Hawaii so Matt and I could make the rounds of the Military hospital once we got past all the brass meeting us when we landed and wanting to invite us for dinner. We always stood firm, if we had dinner with the officers we demanded equal time and access to the enlisted men and of course unrestricted access to the men in the hospital. As we were meeting the injured servicemen we introduced ourselves to one serviceman that really looked like "death warmed over". Asking the doctor what caused his injuries he commented "off the records" the soldier came out to the men in his squad and what you see is the results. The base commander has them locked in confinement pending charges but neither he or I know what to do with the patient.

Returning to the base commander's residence Matt and I respectfully knocked and asked if he had time to talk with us. I believe we can help each other resolve a mutual problem. You have a young soldier in the hospital who was the victim of a homophobic attack. I applaud you for your action and not allowing this culture to exist in the Army of the 21st Century. His doctor confidentially commented to the two of you don't know what to do with the soldier. The problem I have is I need a head of security for my second son and I currently have our HR team scouring to find candidates. I'd like your permission to approach your soldier to see if he has any interest. The base commander smiled from ear to ear and commenting gossip has it you two like good 20 year old single malt Scotch neat! Would you join me in a drink? (DUH, what a no brainer!) We have just enough time for one drink and then a quick trip back to the hospital.

Returning to the base hospital we asked the nurse to have the patient's doctor meet us in a conference room. "When will the patient be fit to travel?" "7-10 days without complications" "May we speak with the patient and we'd like you to join us?"

When the three of us walked into his room I swear he looked like one of those big eyed monkeys from Madagascar or the Tarsier of south-east Asia one sees on the NatGeo channel. He rose in bed to sit at attention as Matt and I commanded: "AS YOU WERE"! We just left your base commander and we have his complete support to talk with you. Whatever we discuss, the final decision is yours. If you have no interest nothing will appear in your permanent military file regarding our discussion. All I ask is that you hear us out.

We are looking for a head of security for our second son. It is becoming all too apparent hostile forces are trying to attack the two of us through our sons. Our first son currently has a dedicated security officer and our second son has reached the stage in his life where he now requires the same. Asking his education background both Matt and I smiled when he said he held a Masters degree in Education. And you joined the Army as a soldier? Yes, he wanted to serve his country and was far more comfortable with enlisted men than with officers. (Damn, was he saying all the right things.)

This is not a babysitting service. Men of Alpha Zulu have been killed and wounded. We have as much or more firepower as most forward bases in the middle-east. Your last assignment was security. Did you enjoy it? YES. What is your pistol rating? EXPERT. Family? I was an orphan abandoned at a fire station and raised by family services till I was kicked to the curb at 18. I was fortunate enough to get an academic scholarship and financial aid to pay for my college tuition. One of the reasons I joined the Army was to service my country but also for the financial aid for my college debt.

Matt and I looked at each other and then at this brave young man: "We have to ask, what is your sexual orientation?" The look of abject horror appeared on his face and the fear of rejection again was all too apparent: "Generals, I'm gay." If you haven't heard about Alpha Zulu and Fort Connor it is a base of 200+ gay soldiers and the only soldier on base who might be straight is 1st Sergeant Alexander our War Dog. His predecessor was the proud father of six puppies. We haven't given Alexander that chance, we learned our lesson the first time. FINALLY, OUR YOUNG SOLDIER CAN SMILE!!!

Your doctor here says you have 7-10 more days here in the hospital and if you are interested I'll put in a formal request to your base commander for your transfer and he assures me he will approve it if you want to join our team. Matt and I could see the tears start to stream down his face. We both believed this was the first time in this young soldiers life he was wanted for being himself.

Here how it happens... once you arrive at Fort Connor our hard ass medical director will demand to do HIS complete evaluation of you before you are even allowed to set foot on base. Only my oldest son, Duke (his bodyguard), Matt and I will know why we asked you to join Fort Connor. I'll assign my youngest son the job of cheering you up and giving you some company while Doc has you captive in medical. I'll make certain you have a prolonged recovery in our quarters which will give you plenty of time to get to know Shawn and hopefully bond with you. Don't rush anything, neither of our sons are dumb and Shawn especially is most intuitive. I'd love to have it be his idea of you being his bodyguard but at least if we have to dictate it I'd like him to be warm to the idea.

You won't be allowed to have access to firearms until your security clearance is processed so I'll get our HR team on base as early as possible to get it in the works. Then you are off to the Tailors for a complete new set of uniforms courtesy of Alpha Zulu. Are you interested in joining our team? "I'd be a fool not to!" Matt and I smiled at him and simply commented we needed to hear that three letter word out of your mouth. "YES!"

Turning to his doctor I commented our medical director Colonel Dillion Dwight would be in contact so keep him appraised as to the status of the patient and when he will be able to travel. We can Med-E-Vac him if necessary but I'll leave that two the two of you.

I asked our young soldier for his complete Name, Rank and Serial Number. Your transfer request will be in the hands of your base commander tomorrow and then it is up to the two doctors when it happens. Matt and I are leaving you with two orders: #1 Listen to your doctor and follow his instructions and #2 GET WELL!

Exiting the hospital Duke, Dale and their security detail met us with an exasperated Dale demanding where have the two of you been. I'M STARVING! The one nice thing about a large military base is the mess hall being open 24 hours a day. I asked the security detail to advise our pilots we were grabbing a quick bite to eat and would then be ready to take off for home. Dale always has a bottomless pit for a stomach but finally even he was ready to head for the jet and lift off for home. As soon as we got to cruising altitude I asked Duke and Dale to join Matt and me in a private discussion.

Emphasizing that no one outside of the four of us is to know what has happened these past few hours. Duke could only smile and Dale said Shawn would be so happy. I reminded them we have a very intuitive Shawn and we have to let this be his idea and decision. I can force this on him and shove it down his throat but that won't make for an easy working relationship for the new guy.

Duke, when the kids are in school I'd appreciate you working around Doc's schedule and giving our new addition the hard cold facts of life regarding Fort Connor and Alpha Zulu. And, NO I'm not trying to be a matchmaker for Shawn. What happened between your two love birds just happened, it wasn't planned either.

Advising our HR team we may have found the ideal candidate for our new bodyguard position don't invest a large amount of time on candidates but if you have files accumulate already we want the opportunity to review them. I gave them the name, rank and serial number of the soldier we were considering and asked them to do a complete background and security check as expediently as possible. I knew Doc wouldn't let him out of medical until he had run every test known to medicine.

I brought up OPS on my com, gave them the soldier name, rank and serial number asking to have him transferred to Fort Connor as soon as his doctors would release him to travel. His base commanding officer has already approved the transfer so it should only be a matter of paperwork.

I Emailed Doc the soldier's Name, Rank and Serial Number and asked him to keep in contact with the soldiers physician and arrange for his transfer as soon as he was medically fit to travel. This was CONFIDENTIAL until further notice.

It was 14 days before the two physicians felt comfortable releasing our young soldier for transfer to Fort Connor and then only by Med-E-Vac. Doc met him at the plane ramp wheelchair in hand which we all advised our new addition: RESISTANCE IS FUTILE! After a week in medical I asked Doc if our patient was well enough to be wheeled around base and get to meet the men. Doc grumbled his usual disclaimers and emphasized just so he didn't step out of the wheelchair.

The entire base was buzzing about the new "lost puppy" our Generals had brought home on this trip. It was no great surprise to Shawn when I asked him and Dale to wheel him around base and introduce him to the men. Finally, after a few days I asked Duke to make certain Dale was preoccupied so the task would be Shawn's alone. Duke assured me he could keep Dale plenty occupied.

When asked why Shawn was all alone today, what happened to Dale? Shawn candidly said: "Dale is back in our quarters getting his brains fucked out by his lover!" (Our newbie sure didn't see that coming!) By the time Doc was ready to kick our new addition out of medical it was Shawn who was asking if he could move into our quarters as he was still weak and it would take some time for him to build back the muscle mass he had lost. I had to smile at Shawn and said I had no objection but he'd have to get the approval of Matt, Duke and Dale. (I learned "Conspiracy Theory 101" from Matt and graduated at the top of my class.)

HR processed all of the required paperwork and explained all the perks of Alpha Zulu while our new addition was confined to Medical. The more he learned about Alpha Zulu and Fort Connor he couldn't believe it existed in the United States Army.

Maintenance delivered his personal effects to our spare bedroom and Shawn delivered his new friend via wheelchair which he then returned to medical. Duke had done a great job of filling our new addition in on all the current events of Fort Connor, even the fact that he was Dale's lover. (That took a few days for our newbie to digest and understand how it could be allowed.)

Finally, an Email was received from HR stating his Security Clearance was completed and he passed without any red flags. Working out with Duke, Dale and Shawn, always following Doc's guidelines so he didn't reinjure himsellf, he was starting to look like an Army soldier of Alpha Zulu. It only took a couple of tries to qualify with the Glock and Beretta. He qualified with the Uzi within a week and a short time later with the SAW and MiniGun. It was now time to ship him off to our friendly tailor and get him fitted for his new uniform.

Adding Luke to my band of conspirators I asked him to see if the tailor could make all the correct determinations with only one fitting. It was possible it would just take a more detailed first fitting. Also, don't let the tailor slip that the uniform is for an Army Captain. We want that to be a family surprise. Order up a dress uniform, a mess dress, body armor and two black suits. I'll make certain he is wearing his shoulder holster and leg holster when he arrives. Anything else you can think of? His officers' saber will be a gift from our family.

If you and John have the time, invite him to spend the night and you can regale him of the stories of your growing up at Fort Connor. He is a keeper so don't the two of you scare him away.

The night before our new addition was to fly off to Washington to meet Luke and John and then into the arms of our dedicated tailor I asked for a family meeting after our evening meal.

As the six of us gathered in our common area and got comfortable I offered our guest a glass of my prize 20 year old single malt Scotch Whiskey. Shawn whispered in his ear, "Sip it or it will knock you on your ass"! As we adults enjoyed the nectar of the Gods I turned to Shawn knowing the moment of truth was at hand. "Shawn, you know how adamant POTUS has been of late about security, I also have shared some of his concerns. And, now this concern effects YOU"! You will be required to have a security detail. I'll considering any recommendations you have so long as it doesn't endanger your safety.

Shawn looked at Dale, then Duke and finally Matt and I. Shawn got up, walked over to our guest, wrapped his arms around his neck, kissed him on the cheek and announced: "I WANT HIM"! I gave our son a stern look and told him he was raised with better manners. You might ask courteously? Shawn looked heartbroken at his major mistake and rebuke from his fathers. Taking the hand of our guest he shyly asked: "Will you protect me"? "WITH MY LIFE!" Welcome to our family!!!

Our newest member of Alpha Zulu flew out the next morning to be the guest of the Worthingtons. That is, after he got over the shock of the stretch limo, the security entrance to the Marriott, the Manager escorting him to the Penthouse and being met by one of the most powerful businessmen in the United States. (Just wait till he meets our overly friendly tailor!)

The dinner was a quiet event in the Penthouse catered by the Chef of the Marriott. After dinner drinks loosened the tongues with the 20 year old single malt Scotch and the nightcap of Pa Vance's Moonshine had everyone wanting COFFEE at the first rays of sunlight. It was no surprise everyone was wearing dark glasses when they left the Marriott.

Luke brought me up on my com and informed me he was keeping our guest another night. He was just too much fun and everyone was having such a great time. I just warned Luke: NO MOONSHINE! (We learned that lesson last night!) Matt and I were rolling on the floor in laughter but it is just a normal rite of passage around the Worthingtons.

Shawn was all over his fathers why HIS security wasn't back at Fort Connor tonight. I had to chuckle as I told him his Uncle Luke and John were keeping him another night. Shawn was heartbroken. All Matt and I heard at breakfast and lunch the next day is when is his plane due in... We kept telling Shawn "this afternoon" but remember he has to clear medical before Doc will let him back on base.

Finally, the door to our quarters opened at our newest family member walked through the door. You could hear Shawn's feet running the full length of our quarters as Dale yelled: INCOMMING! Shawn was airborne landing with his legs around his waist and his arms around his neck smothering him in kisses. WELCOME HOME! Matt and I commented: "Just treat him like your little brother and little brothers can be a real pain in the ass at times!" Dale sounded off: DADS, REALLY!

Thursday at our morning staff meeting I warned everyone present that retreat Friday would be formal, dress uniforms required and that included even our garish uniforms. Friday morning our Captain's uniform came with our secure mail. I hung them in his quarters and advised him at lunch his new uniforms had arrived. Retreat this evening is formal so dress accordingly.

Matt, Duke and I sat quietly in our quarters as our newest addition came out of his bedroom in shock. Sirs, they sent me the wrong uniform. This is an officers uniform of a Captain. SURPRISE!!! Didn't I mention the job came with an increase in rank and pay? The smile on the face of us three, he knew he had been had BIG TIME! Handing him a wrapped present we commented this is from our hearts to the newest member of our family. He was in tears as he opened the box and saw his officer's saber.

Tonight's retreat is formal as you will be asked to take your Commissioning Oath so get all the tears out of your system right now. And, knowing our mess staff there will be a celebration in your honor at 2000 hours tonight in the mess hall. DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT MISSING IT!

Turning to Shawn, will you ask the Chaplain to borrow a bible and bring it to retreat tonight. I want you to hold it so I can take my Oath both to "man and to God"! Shawn beamed with pride and scampered out of our quarters to fulfill his task.

As the full formation was called to attention there were a few shocked faces when our newest member of Alpha Zulu appeared in the dress uniform of a Captain in the United States Army. Asked to come forward, Shawn joined him Bible in hand. As I asked if he was prepared and willing to take his Commissioned Officer Oath he proudly stated: "YES SIR"! As Shawn held the bible he placed his left hand on the Bible and raised his right hand as he repeated after me:

"I Jax Arthur King, do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God." Jax continued: "To all present, I pledge my life and sacred honor!"

Jax stepped back, smartly saluted which was returned by myself and all the officers present. The best acknowledgement was when Shawn wrapped his arms around his neck and unashamed kissed him in front of the entire Alpha Zulu formation.

I ordered the bugler to sound off and we then adjourned to the mess for dinner. Everyone made the point of congratulating Jax and even T&T were drooling over the newest addition to our Alpha Zulu family. No one was surprised when I formally announced our Mess Staff somehow always managed to throw together a celebration at the last minute.

Later that evening during our celebration the "big screen" went live with the "White House" emblem on it. Instantly there was POTUS behind his desk in the Oval Office. We all stood to attention as he commented: "AT EASE"! "Captain King, as your Commander-in-Chief I am proud to congratulate the newest member of the Alpha Zulu family. In reviewing your file I agree with General Allman we have selected the right man for the job. If you ever need assistance, I'm as close as your wrist com. Excuse my interruption of your celebration and I hope everyone at Fort Connor has a great night. (I am so looking forward to the next great meal I can share with you and your men.)" The screen returned to the Oval White House emblem and then went blank.

Matt whispered in my ear: "POTUS is watching everything we do!" There is no way he is going to dissolve Alpha Zulu. If for any other reason, he loves our mess!

Finally, the celebration died out and the six of us returned to our quarters. I told our four family members to take a hot shower and call it a night. Matt and I would clean up in the morning. It was great just to crawl between clean sheets and cuddle with the wonderful man I loved. Duke and Dale settled into their soundproof bedroom and Jax and Shawn to each of the remaining bedrooms.

Sometime during the night Jax heard a cry of distress and came running out of his bedroom naked with his Glock in hand. It was Shawn reliving the memory of killing the intruder and having another disturbing nightmare. Not worrying about improper conduct Jax lay in bed with Shawn holding him tight and reassuring him he was safe and would never be alone. When Matt and I headed to the shower in the morning I had to smile when I put my head in Shawn's bedroom to see a naked Jax holding Shawn tight to his body. I whispered in Matt's ear I bet there is a great story to be shared after the kids are in school today. Matt had a big smile as he told me not to hear it till he could join us. It sure appeared Captain King was indeed the right man for the job.

When Shawn stirred and finally started to function he looked at Jax and the beautiful naked body in bed with him. Shawn kissed him gently on his cheek and told him "Thank You"... it was really a bad dream last night. Jax blushed as he told Shawn: "I'll always be here for you with or without clothes"! Matt and I heard the sound of laughter from Shawn's bedroom and we knew all was well with our family.

Over the next few weeks our family bonded into a supportive mechanism. It took some time for Jax to accept Duke and Dale were committed lovers and only after he walked into the shower to find Dale fucking Duke to Nirvana and back did he comprehend how deep a commitment the two shared. Shawn was constantly cuddling with Jax and putting his head on his shoulder but nothing of a sexual nature. Just being a good friend and it made Jax feel wonderful and part of the family. The nights Jax would watch Duke and Dale head off to their bedroom with obvious hard pieces of flesh between their legs Jax would stroke off a hot load of prime Army baby batter as soon as everyone was in bed.

One night Jax was horny as hell watching the obvious foreplay between Duke and Dale in the common area he excused himself and went to his room. Stripping down to his birthday suit his cock ached for relief. He lubed his 8 ˝" of prime beef and his stroking reaching the point of no return when Shawn walked in his bedroom. Shawn smiled from ear to ear as Jax tried to cover himself.

Shawn had a big smile on his face as he told Jax "you can't help me with that monster but I can help you". "Lay back and enjoy" as Shawn jumped into bed and under the covers before Jax could comprehend what would happen next. As Shawn's warm mouth enveloped the head of his cock Jax could only moan in pleasures rarely felt and grasp the bedding with both hands. Shawn chocked when he tried to go balls deep but when he wrapped his lips around the mushroom head the sucking action made Jax's balls explode. Shawn came up from under the bedding licking his lips and Jax could only see his new career ending with a court-martial. Shawn hugged Jax's chest and rested his head on his shoulder. "You were delicious" and I never want to hear of you jacking off ever again. "My mouth is always available for you", a fringe benefit of protecting me.

The next day as Jax was trying to comprehend the events of the previous night he asked Duke if he had time to chat. Duke realized that Jax was having problems comprehending the open sexuality of Alpha Zulu and knew this conversation would happen, he just didn't realize it would be so soon.

"You and Dale are lovers?" YES "You share oral sex?" YES "I know from walking in on you two in the shower you enjoy anal sex (and I do apologize)"... "This is all permissible?" Duke assured him it is all permissible provided the imp initiates the sexual encounter, there is no force or coercion and the imp isn't harmed physically or psychologically.

"Shawn sucked me off last night!" Duke smiled as he commented you just made the start of a trusting relationship. The Chaplain and the Generals will tell you it isn't a problem unless it prevents you from protecting Shawn. If it is going to be a problem with you protecting Shawn then you need to ask for a transfer. Jax assured him it wasn't a problem, if anything he only cared more for Shawn.

Duke confided in Jax he was shocked the night Dale asked him to take his virginity. It was the most beautiful moment of my life and I was so honored. Don't rush it, Shawn is proud of his virginity. And it looks like you won't be spending many nights with the palm of your hand with Shawn and his talented mouth close by. Just hold him, love him, cuddle him, show him he is more than just a cum dump. Shawn is a wonderful boy and whoever he decides to be his partner for life is going to be one happy person.

Just take the future one day at a time and at Shawn's pace. Other than his lack of manners, it was obvious when he told the whole family he wanted you for his security how much he really cared about you. Dale and I expected him to drag you off to his bedroom, strip you naked and ravage your body. You really got off easy. Just think back to when you were his age and all the feelings and sexual desires you (WE) had. Shawn didn't do anything last night that we wouldn't have done if we had the opportunity.

Shawn has pretty much announced to the base how great he thinks you are. You are definitely #1 on his list after his fathers. As much as I enjoy some hot and heavy fucking with Dale the quiet tender moments he cuddles with me are the ones I still enjoy the most. Long before you entered the picture when the Generals first announced Shawn had to have dedicated security Dale announced that his fathers should go ahead and put sound deadening foam in Shawn's bedroom walls also. Shawn wasn't their little baby anymore.

The first night Dale fucked me he stayed hard for over two hours and hammered my prostate till I could hardly walk. The bedroom hadn't yet been soundproofed and everyone on base knew I got my ass royally fucked. I got a lot of good harassment from the soldiers but nothing that wouldn't have been done in a heterosexual context if it had been a soldier and his girlfriend.

One thing Dale did warn me about and I'm passing it on be careful not to hit the on button on your Com or OPS will broadcast your moment of passion to the entire base. It didn't happen to me but it has happened in the past. And once the grapevine announces you and Shawn are having sex expect a standing ovation when you enter the dining hall. It is a rite of passage around here.

Even due to the unfortunate circumstances which allowed you to be the right person in the right place at the right time you and Shawn have bonded as friends and I know the Generals and POTUS are happy with the selection and Shawn's response.

With Shawn still having night terrors over killing the intruder just ask him to sleep in your room. I doubt if he will refuse and if you only hold him in your arms it will give him the reassurance of safety and help the Chaplain to make Shawn whole again.

My recommendation to you is meet Shawn when he gets out of school today and go liberate some ice cream from the Mess. Talk with him and tell him last night was wonderful. You know he is still having bad dreams at night and that he is more than welcome to share your bed with no sex expected. You were asked to accept him as a little brother and this is what you would do if he was your little brother. Knowing our Shawn he'll wrap his arms around your neck and smother you with kisses.

And, in the future if you two enjoy sex: #1) Lock the bedroom door and #2) use air freshener afterwards! (You'll find it in the linen closet.) Shawn can tell you the humor behind the air freshener.

I'm here, the generals, Doc, the Chaplain... we all will answer any question you have without being judgmental. Hell, the night I fucked Dale so hard I put his ass out of commission for ten days the Generals only laughed and told me it is all part of a teenage learning curve with sex. Doc told him his mouth was still functional and he understood it was mighty talented. The one thing our young family members don't understand and comprehend is MODERATION!

My parting words to you are: Upon pain of death DON'T EAT THE ROCKY ROAD ICE CREAM or you'll face the wrath of a very pissed off Dale and that can be a fate worse than death.

Nervously pacing waiting for Shawn to exit his classroom he was all smiles when he saw me. I asked how school went today and his comment was: "ALGEBRA SUCKS"! (Watch the language young man!) "How about we go liberate some ice cream and then sit down and talk?) Shawn's answer was to spontaneously jump up wrapping his arms around my neck, his legs around my waist as I hugged him tight and we walked off to the mess.

Shawn chuckled when I told him I had been warned upon pain of death not to eat the Rocky Road Ice Cream. Shawn smiled and told me his brother didn't run this camp so if I wanted Rocky Road to enjoy myself.

As we were quietly sitting enjoying some chocolate ice cream I mentioned to Shawn that it is apparent he is still having nightmares over killing the soldier. I was told to treat you as my little brother and I would tell my little brother to get his sexy ass in my bedroom and sleep with me for as long as you are having bad dreams. I'll even wear gym shorts to bed for you (which made him chuckle).

That night I was laying in bed pondering the events of the past 24 hours when a freshly showered Shawn knocked at my door and asked if he could enter. ALWAYS! Closing and locking the door behind him he asked if I was wearing Gym trunks which I affirmed. NIX EM! (As he crawled into bed with me.) Laying his head on my shoulder and his arm around my chest he quietly whispered: "Thanks Jax" and it was the most wonderful moment of my life laying there with this beautiful young man secure in my arms.
