If you are not some authority approved age or live in some regressive society maybe it is best to leave. 13: New Brother Two Last week I stopped at the Jeep dealer. He was most disappointed that I was not interested in a new model. My present Commander is only 18 months old. I asked for something more economical and used. I know Andy is trying to save his money to buy his own. I doubt that he will get anything but junk on his meagre budget. Using the numbered resort company's retained earnings, I purchased a used Patriot with a 2 L engine. It can be an early Christmas present for Andy. He will need to treat it as a taxable benefit but his reportable income is not that great, and it won't make much of a difference. The price was a sticking point. This was an early lease return. They were trying to get as much for it as possible. What they were hoping to do was get someone to take over the lease, without questioning the residual value being asked. I was less interested in that and more interested in getting the purchase price as low as possible. I asked to see the original lease. It was one of those no money down 48 month deals, with what I thought was a high residual or buy out. I just told him straight out I would not take over an existing lease but I would buy it for cash at 45% of the original sticker price, given it's rather high milage. He didn't know if I had been to the competition yet, so I told him straight out. I came here first, but I can look down the street. He caved and Andy has his car or he will have on the weekend, when he and I come to pick it up. Today the Village President came to visit me. I was a little surprised when he came to the gate. He was most impressed with what we had done to the place and how well kept everything was. I think he expected a home with two young men and no ladies around, would be quite different than what he saw. We chatted a little before he got to the point of his visit. "Mat, the Reverend has been forced to resign from the council. He still protests his innocence but we can not have a councillor that is facing criminal charges." "I can't say I'm sorry to hear that. I think you can understand why." "Oh, I understand and so do the other councillors. I don't think any of us realized just how bigoted he is, never having attended one of his services. We do have some problems with his apparent lack of understanding, concerning the relationship between church and state." "That is something I have never been comfortable with in American society. It is one reason I moved out of the "bible belt" in the first place. Unfortunately many Wisconsinites are almost as bigoted." "I was hoping that you might run in the spring election. Our council is in need of more fair minded people like yourself." So that is his purpose in this little visit. The last thing I want to do is get involved in politics, even at the local level. "Thank you for the complement. I don't think I would make a good politician even at the municipal level. I do not suffer fools gladly and frankly, have that view of many. I do not live in village of Amhurst so probably would not qualify." "Yes well, our charter allows residents of the township to serve on council not just the village. Most of us are elected by acclimation anyway, so no campaigning is really required." "Perhaps that is where the problem lay. If the voters had some choice to pick from." "Yes, that is true but we have not had very many stepping forward, since the late 1980's." "Why do you think I would be an asset to the council?" "You are articulate and well thought of as a financial manager." "I think my reputation as a financial planner/trader is more myth than reality. I have been lucky. It is easy to look good in a rising market." "I came here to try and get you before the school board." "Um, I suspect the school board is more to my philosophical bent. More focused I guess. I have an idea that may just assist both of us. If my soon to be completed degree in economics, is what your board requires, why not hire me as an advisor on business practice, tax and spending matters. That way you get completely unbiased advice. Since I am not aligned with any political party or other groups. I won't step directly on anyone toes, or maybe I'll step on everyone's." "I doubt we can afford you....." "How does $10 a year and any out of pocket expenses, sound? Your staff does the typing." "That sounds too good to be true, Mat. I know the stipend for a councillor is not much but it is better then $10." "Yes but you need my services now, not next spring. Being an advisor/consultant will look good on my resume and I do not need the income. This way I can keep out of the public eye while getting experience and doing my civic duty. The other advantage is, if my recommendation is politically unpopular, the council can still follow it, while distancing themselves from the fall out." "It can be modified or disregarded without any hard feelings." "True, advice does not need to be followed to the letter or at all. That is the difference between us academics and you politicians." We laughed and shook hands. I told him I could start after the first of the year. Andy and Eric are getting right into the organization of our big, now annual, Thanksgiving dinner. They have been decorating the games room. I must say it looks good too. Our numbers are now 65 and this year many of the guests will be bringing food. I am still having the meats prepared for us. The big three auto makers are now in Washington with their hands out, as I predicted. Andy and I talked about it over dinner. Eric was quite silent but did seem to be paying attention. Simon has been visiting every weekend as I noted above. This weekend we are all invited to the Green Bay/Chicago Bears game in Green Bay. Leon has some how arranged box seats for all of us. I can not say I am a big football fan but Andy likes to attend live games and he does play on his high school team, all be it on the third string. Eric is just thrilled with the idea. Simon and Ray will pick him up and Andy and I will ride with Leon and Grover. Eric looked up the Packer's record and informed me, they are third in the NFC North with a 4 and 5 record. Chicago has a 6 and 4 record. Leon told us it will be a good game no matter who wins. I guess he had to pull a few strings to get this many box seat tickets, given the rivalries between these two teams. Grover plays for his high school; he is on the first string. I was hoping Carl and his boy would also attend. Leon told me Carl does not like football and his boy Gordon has never been much interested in team sports. I knew that. My thinking has more to do with my selfishness and a little about Eric's growth. Since Carl and Gordon are both more stereotypical gay, I thought Eric should have more interaction with them. Selfish in that Gordon is primarily a bottom whose ass is just one of my favorites. I would like to see just a little more competition for Eric's affection. I think he would benefit from it. Eric was pleased that he finally received a few post cards and a letter from his mother. Sonja gave a Key West box number and a cell phone number. The post cards were from several different islands. Mother is a nice looking woman, as is her friend. They were very vague about just what business they were conducting. When Larry saw the letter and cards he was incredulous but said nothing to Eric. I have my own feelings about this. I would guess these women are into things they would be best not. I sincerely hope they are not involved with any of my former associates. Since I left the business, it is clear all has not been easy or simple. Several of the mid and higher level people are in jail and a goodly number are dead. I have no way to know if my speculation is close to the mark. The Key West and the cruse business is highly sensitive to general economic conditions. I strongly suspect that all business, legal and less than legal, will be suffering. It seems a poor time to try and establish one's self in this kind of environment. I also wondered if they had any experience or skills to offer, besides spreading their legs. I sincerely hope Simon and Eric can sort themselves out . The kid has become so hot and so willing, I can not see how he can hold Simon or Ray off, for much longer. For Simon's part he is being quite patient. I think his attempts to make Eric his friend are real. Ray is playing the part of big brother. He seems honest in this. He is obviously comfortable with his relationship and future. He seems at ease with the idea of Simon having a younger boy, as his relationship with Simon is evolving. Eric is comfortable in our bed and quite demonstrative now, when he wants our attention. I think that letter and the post cards will have a positive effect on this developing relationship. I know Eric realizes what is going on and why Simon brings all the presents he does. I am sure it is Ray that picks them out. I noted a bit of sadness in the boy. He misses his family, such as it was, and is not quite ready to let Simon or any of us into his heart yet. I hope he realizes that with Simon, as his special friend, he will gain back much of what he thinks he as lost. From what I can tell Simon's marriage is on the verge of collapse. I have no idea how hard they are trying to keep it together. I thought at first, Ray may be a point of contention. Ray has never suggested this and seems to get on well enough with the woman and the two small children. I know she believes Ray is more friend of Andy and Grover. Since Simon started up with Melissa, Ray has been presented, as a student assistant in Simon's office and around his home. In the last week or so the markets have taken more beatings. Several of my bargains have not gained much, others a little. None have dropped below my low point buy. Retailers are predicting a poor season and several chains are being talked about for Chapter 11. Circuit City has filed. Since the commodities have gone to rat shit, I was most pleased to be well out of them. I think one can make a buck and a good one too, on the day trading side. I am not sure I ever want to be that chained to events I have no control over. I know the broker I use is less than happy. He would much prefer if I bought and sold more frequently. His commission is based on my doing just that. I for one have never paid much attention to analysts except for looking at general sector trends. All too often the analysts make some prediction for dividends or something else and when they are not met or exceeded the price tanks or drops. I make mine too but I sure as hell don't make my long range investment plan based on the profit or dividend for some specific quarter. My approach is to look for dividends and price appreciation combined to reach the profit desired. If on reaching my desired level and the trend looks to continue I sell enough to cover my investment and hold the remainder to see if it will reach or approach my next plateau. Far too many investors work on emotions, not rational planning. Raymond came in late yesterday and stayed the night. I was not surprised to see him. I was a bit surprised to see him stay with Eric in his room. He brought some new clothes for Eric. He will be dressed for the game in skin tight jeans and a Packers jersey that looks like it was made just for him. The jersey fits over a fine wool sweater. Ray even had special skin tight, very low rise, long legged underwear and a skin tight unbelievably soft tee shirt. Simon pulled in about 9 am. He had rented a limo with very dark rear windows. I figured something was up when Ray drove away with Simon and Eric in the rear. Andy thought this all very romantic. We rode with Leon and Grover, not the least bit romantic, just lots of laughing and fun. Leon had places in a box, that belonged to one of the big Milwaukee manufacturing firms. This company makes machines, mostly used in the mining industry. The box is about on the 40 yard line and seats about 25 people. The others were all people from the company. Since none of them had name tags on, I was not sure. We were all wearing our personalized jerseys so everyone knew us. Leon seemed to know them all. Simon knew several of the men and their ladies. I believe he went to school with them as did Leon. We were introduced to everyone of course. I remember everyone's name. A few I had met before, that is all I know about any of them. Over the years Leon has taken us to many games. He often gets invited into these boxes. When the weather is good or if the younger boys are not attending, he will use his family's season tickets, which are in the open stands. Being a state employee he is very careful about appearances. Simon, Ray and Eric were already in their seats when we arrived. Andy, Ray and Grover moved close to the two young ladies that were in attendance and Eric was trapped next to Simon and a couple of middle aged women, who seemed to be in mother mode. It was a thrilling game, if you are a Packer's fan and I think most disconcerting if you support the Bears. They did manage to kick a field goal in the second period but that was all. The Packers simply dominated them. The Packers were strong in the air and on the ground. The Packers defence did its job and then some. They shut down the pass and held off all attempts on the ground. Not even letting the Bears set up for another reasonable field goal attempt. I could see Simon was making lots of yardage with Eric too. From the look on their faces the hour plus drive to Green Bay was not wasted and I am sure the drive home will see some scoring too. It was a fine day for football, with just about freezing temperatures, overcast with a light breeze. When no one was looking, Eric pressed himself against Simon. He seemed to want physical contact with him. I know Simon wants that contact with Eric. Their plan was to drive on ahead of us back to Amherst. We four would dine with the usual gaggle of lawyers. We pulled in about 9 pm. The house was dark and no cars were in the drive. Eric was already asleep. Judging from the state of the room and the number of condoms laying about, all three had touchdowns. Andy and Grover just giggled when they saw it. We talked for a while. Leon and Grover went to their cabin. I wrote this entry and Andy and I went to bed. The morning after. That sounds like the title of a novel. Probably several novels and at lest one song. This morning, which is the morning after, Eric bounced out of his room ready for a new school day. Andy went to wake up Leon and Grover. Eric seemed quite happy and relaxed. This is good I thought. Over breakfast the others were quizzing Eric about his first football game. He was thrilled to say the least and sure would go again, if the opportunity presented. When pressed for his most memorable moment he said, "When Simon made love to me in the limo." He had a smile that almost made his face disappear. Grover just leaned back and commented, "You're one of us now." The three boys just high fived each other. When Andy and Eric got home I made then read an article in Discover. It is an interview with Laurie Santos, the primate researcher. She just explained why people do such stupid things in the markets. It's because we have not evolved any further than Lemurs. I don't think they are as impressed as I am. Eric has learned or perhaps it is just talent. He just knows how to stand or sit and look. The boy is precocious and just looks totally innocent. One thing he is not shy about or innocent of, is seeking physical pleasure and doing it in style. I think it was about 8:30. I know we had all finished our homework for the day and found nothing worth viewing on the television. When I say not worth viewing, I am not being a critic but simply stating nothing any of us wished to view. Eric jumped up and ran into his room, merging shortly in the sexiest pair of undies I have ever seen on a boy. They are obviously a gift from Simon; white with red piping. They clung to his body like a second skin. The waist band was wide and rise very low. Standard cut briefs, that is they had a full seat but the side panels were cut almost to the waistband. He slowly turned around showing off for us. The seat was tailored and fitted tight into his cleft, displaying each butt cheek perfectly. The front was a pouch that perfectly outlined is little stiff penis. "I want to practice being just the most desirable boy a man can want, will you help me Andy?" How could Andy say anything but yes. "The boy controls sex, this is what I want you to do. Mat, you can give us direction or suggestions." He moved up to Andy. "Now run your hands over my body... Yes like that. Now let your fingers follow the butt seam top to bottom and back again... Like that but press a little harder... Oh, ah, ye...sss." Andy moved his hands to his butt and then slid them up his back and down the back of his legs. Eric pressed his lips forward and they kissed deeply as this was happening. "Okay, now my boyhood...like that, yes... use both hands and pull these things off.... slowly." Andy complied. "Ah yes, that is so nice." More kissing and touching. Eric slid Andy's briefs off and played with is penis and ass. He kissed Andy's erection several times. "Okay, now turn me around. Let me feel your stiff cock in my cleft and slide it over my butt. Hold me and kiss my neck and ears." The kid wiggled his butt and eased in the cock sliding trapping it between his legs. I could see Andy's cock head just under Eric's balls. Andy let his hands slip down Eric's chest and fondled his his boyhood. "I think you two should repeat this whole sequence in front of a full length mirror," I suggested. We all moved to the master bedroom which has lots of mirrors. I am so fortunate both these boys are just perfect. Eric is just over proper weight, that will soon be corrected. Following the little body play repeat, Eric lay on his back and took Andy's penis in his mouth as he knelt over the lad. Eric made love to Andy's maleness just as I had taught him. When Eric figured Andy was properly sexed up he directed him to move off. Eric positioned himself on his hands and knees and directed Andy to tease him with is erection and then plunge it home. That he did. Andy is not a hard and fast fucker. He is much more into slow, steady rhythm, rotating his hips and trying to engage this lover's sweet spot as best he can. I of course was horned up to the max carefully watching. Eric motioned me to come around and took my erection in his mouth as I presented it by laying on my back and sliding my hips toward his open cavern. "Simon and Raymond told me I had learned your lessons well, very well indeed. I know part of that training was to make me want my man. Thank you both for that. My objective is to make my man want this boy above all others." "I think you will be more successful at that then you ever dreamed," Andy told him. "The way you trapped and held my cock, milking it with your mouth, was awesome." Eric smiled. "Ray taught me that. He said it was garnered to keep Simon in my bed as long as I want him." He went on to explain that Ray was now a man and it was time he struck out on his own. He still thinks the world of Simon and loves him greatly. That love is evolving and their relationship must necessarily change. "He told me I should become Simon's boy lover. The way he fucked me I am sure he is serious. I think he will have a boy of his own some day." Knowing Ray I have have no doubt he will. I have no doubt he will have Eric's ass at least until he finds a steady lover. It is much like Ray to make sure his replacement has all the qualities and character needed for his man. It is hard to say if Ray will ever be a true boy lover. I don't think I am. In Ray's instance he will need to find himself and his place in the world. Being a boy lover is one option open to him. He has experience being a loved boy, a man's boy. He knows what it is from the boy's side. He has only an idea what it is from the man's. I have no illusions about myself. I had no real idea what this was all about until I was well into it. I like boys and I like sex with them, that is not the question. I have Andy and can not even imagine having any other boy in my life, on a full time basis. Who knows what is in the future. I think it is a waste to time to speculate. For now I am happy being Andy's man. I made my commitment and I am dedicated to following it through. Andy and I are just a little different then the normal, if there is such a thing, man--boy relationship. He will seek independence from me as he matures. That is normal. I will not force him to it. I can not hold him or prevent him if he wishes. Enough of this for now I must get back to my thesis. The Thanksgiving dinner was another social and culinary success. It turned out to be much more that that. Carl and Simon both brought their wives and older boys. The young children were with the grandparents in The Point. Thanksgiving this year was on a Thursday. Leon and Grover would visit the grandparents on the weekend. Elsa came as my date and Naomi and her family also visited along with Dennis and his family. Everyone that was going left about 9:30. Elsa stayed to help Andy, Naomi and me clean up. I noticed Carl and his wife went to their cabin. Leon and Grover headed to bed. I was a bit puzzled with Simon's wife's behavior. Mary was acting very funny. She is normally quiet and reserved but tonight she was much more outgoing and demonstrative. Ray and Wilson were paying attention to her while Simon seemed overtly attentive to Eric. I was not sure what was happening but something was. It wasn't until several days later that I found out why it happened at all. Mary's behavior was becoming more and more erratic and erotic, as the evening progressed. The two boys were pushing her buttons. I am sure Elsa and Naomi realized this. Andy seemed not to pay any attention. I wondered what he knew and didn't choose to share. The other guests seemed not to notice, except for the locals, few knew each other very well. Andy and Naomi seemed to find things of interest between themselves as did Elsa and I. Get your mind off sex, well at least for Elsa and me. The last I saw of Simon, Mary and three boys, they headed into the sauna. I thought this a bit strange. From Mary's behavior I judged she was into something. I was not sure what it was but I knew nothing we served and no one had enough wine. I figured Simon was medicating his wife, but I was not at all sure why. I had never seen her interact intimately with anyone other than Simon and then not as overtly as tonight. The only one she was not touching and joking with, was Eric. I took it, none of us, including Mary, would be attending the "Black Friday" sales. Andy saw Naomi home and a little while after that, Elsa departed. I noticed the others abandoned the sauna a little before midnight. I visited the room shortly after to turn off the heater and pick up. It was not too messy. I folded all the clothing and placed each persons articles in a neat pile. That is when I noticed the little inhaler in Simon's shirt pocket. Okay, I thought, that explains part of it. I went to bed and Andy came in just a little after. He was charged up, obviously he and Naomi had little more than a quickie in the car. Leon and Grover were the first group up. They seemed completely unaware of what had happened earlier. In fact they are more like an old married couple then father and son. Andy and Grover went off to play computer games, while Leon and I chatted and drank coffee. We were all planning a winter sports trip to the club's resort, between Christmas and New Year's day. Mostly we talked about the economic situation and speculated on what if anything the Congress would do to help the Auto Industry. I gave him my opinion which was very harsh. Leon expressed the usual consecrative views about liberals taxing and spending. I know I just shook my head pointing out that conservative ideas of free markets with no control and the trickle down theory are bankrupt. All the free marketeers want private gains and collective losses. "You can't have it both ways. You can't fight a war or two, without properly financing them. You can't just print money to fix a liquidity problem, that stemmed from taking the controls away. The Bush Administration was printing money and lowering taxes for years. All that cash needed a home. Now we see the results of unrestrained, self regulated greed and unsustainable, unrestricted growth. The biggest problem I see is and was a blind faith in mathematical risk model results, as if they were real data, not forecasts based on untested assumptions. One other problem will face us in the not too distant future. We are getting older. The fertility rates are dropping. We need to think just a bit about that. Either we find ways of becoming much more efficient in what we do or we encourage more immigration which will surely change the nature of our society. I think we need to stop expanding. We need to convince our new citizens to become part of the overall community." I see that as the greatest shortcoming in economics. We are almost always working with models based partly on data and partly on assumptions or gestates. All too often we choose the fiction we wish to believe, instead of recognizing the limitations of that fiction. The assumptions become more and more self serving, until they serve nothing. This whole carbon business has become just another form of faith based irrationality. The real problem of resource utilization and allocation is not being addressed. This whole carbon credit business is just another from of funny money and bad macro economics. It will not achieve the technical objectives. Markets can not do that. If one wants to tax carbon and reinvest that tax, in making real efficiency improvements, now that makes some sense.
