This chapter changed a bit when I wrote that Timmy liked Joey Murphey's music. Eric is a friend of mine and author here on Nifty. He had his character Joey interact with Timmy in Chapter 8b of Transitions Daily Life. The story is a continuation of a previous Transitions story but stands on its own. If you want to know more about Joey and others go read his stories. He has a lot of great stories out here. Tell us what you think. I also need to shout out to Tux who has been passing chapters of Counting as fast as I can edit them. I hope you enjoy his story in Young Friends as well. Stay tuned, it's going to get very fun! I've read stuff that you guys are going to love!

Chapter 33 - Nuh uh, you aren't Joey!

Timmy was giggling. "Is he, like, your boyfriend?"

"No, he's just my dad. I love him a lot. I know it's strange to kiss him like that, but it's kind of fun." Andrew realized he needed to be more careful.

The boys chatted until the nurses told them to be quiet. Andrew climbed in the bed with Timmy and cuddled him through the night.

For Andrew, the night was short. Every hour, a nurse would come by to check on Timmy. It was early, but Timmy was starting to wake up. "You're still here!" he said to Andrew.

"Of course I am, why wouldn't I be?"

"I thought it was a dream. You're a great big brother." He rolled over to hug Andrew tight. The orderly came in and brought the boys' breakfast. He mentioned it was a dialysis diet and both boys got the same meal. It was cute. At least the cooks tried to make it fun. They had an omelet with some green things in it that were in the shape of Mikey Mouse and a bunch of cut up fruit. There was also some sort of a milkshake thing that was chocolate. They both enjoyed the interesting meal, and Andrew seemed to be enjoying having a little brother. Sure, he had Ricky, but Ricky was older. He really loved Ricky like a brother, but in the end, they needed each other to survive and to get off. Timmy didn't even hint at wanting anything sexual. He was so cute and innocent. How could someone beat the shit out of him? Andrew was going to find out, one way or another.

"Hey, big guy, are you ready for another trip to outer space? We need to hook you up to the machines and take you for a ride." A big black male nurse came in wearing space themed scrubs. "It's time for the dialysis boy to go on a trip. Wait, who's this? Are you taking on a companion this trip?"

"He he. " Timmy laughed. "This is my brother, Andrew!"

Andrew went along with it.

"Well, is he coming along or not?"

"Will you come with me? They have cartoons we can watch. I would love it if you held my hand."

"Of course, I'd be happy to join you on your mission." Andrew jumped down, and the nurse lifted Timmy into the wheelchair. "Your job, cadet Andrew, is to take the space explorer to the la-bor-a-tory" He stretched out the word. Andrew pushed the wheelchair, following the funny nurse.

"Explorer Timmy, it's time to get into the capsule. Dismount the transport vehicle and enter the capsule." The nurse lifted Timmy to the chair for dialysis. "Your cadet will sit by your side and help you on your mission." He pulled a chair up next to Timmy. Timmy grabbed for Andrew's hand. Andrew sat down and could feel Timmy trembling. Andrew noticed that Timmy's other hand was counting fingers. He would move from index finger to pinky, touching his thumb and back and forth. Kind of like a wave. Andrew wasn't sure why, but he thought it was cute.

"It's going to be OK. The doctors said you would only need this for a little while." Andrew tried to re-assure the little guy.

"Alright, now, explorer Timmy, yesterday was the worst day for this mission. Today is a piece of cake! Let me get you hooked up and then my launch assistant will be by to verify that life support is connected and all systems are go!"

Andrew was wondering if all adults had silly sayings. At least this was fun. Andrew was scared just by being by all these machines. The TV was playing cartoons, and the nurse and tech got Timmy connected and started the machine.

"I see you're stimming, Timmy. It's all going to be OK." The nurse said to Timmy.

They gave Timmy a cup with some juice in it and told Andrew to make sure he drank it all. They gave Andrew a cup too, but told him not to mix them up and winked at him. Andrew knew that Timmy's was special.

"What's stimming?" Andrew asked to get back to the nurses' comment.

"It's when someone does something repetitive, usually when they are under stress, uncomfortable, or just not wanting to be around people. See his fingers? That's stimming. Some people repeat words, have other movements, or click a pen. It's common in neuro-diverse people."

"Wait, is something wrong with Timmy? I mean, other than his kidneys?"

"Oh, no Andrew, he's fine. All that means is he's nervous and his brain handles it differently. Some people's brains are just wired differently. If you didn't see that behavior in Timmy, would you know anything was different?"

"No, I get it. We're all different. But I love my new brother no matter what."

Timmy smiled and stopped his finger rolls. "Really? You love me? You're the bestest!" Timmy couldn't hug Andrew, but they held hands for the grueling hours of dialysis before they took him back up to the room and he was lifted back into bed. Andrew climbed in beside Timmy again. There was lunch waiting on a tray, but neither boy was hungry.

Timmy was tired, and it was late in the day. Andrew wondered if Mr. Thomas or Grandma were coming, but he really was loving having time to take care of Timmy.

"Andrew, I want you to be my brother. I love you too."

"I would love to be your brother Timmy, but I'm not sure that will be possible, but if it is, I would love it too."

Andrew did like having Timmy to care for, but he worried it would strain the relationship with Ethan. What if Ethan liked Timmy more? He was aging out of the desirable rent boy business. What if Ethan wanted a fresh, young boy? Andrew knew his worries were unfounded and just decided to enjoy cuddling with Timmy. He had his chin on top of Timmy's blond mop, and over the hospital smells, he inhaled that pure little boy scent that drove him nuts. Andrew wasn't surprised when that caused him to get a boner. He just hugged Timmy and they watched cartoons. Andrew's dick would have to wait.

Timmy wiggled around a bit trying to get comfortable and put his hand down and felt Andrew's cock through his shorts. He started giggling. "You have a woodie!"

Andrew felt his face flush. "I'm sorry, it just happens."

"I know." Timmy said as he grabbed Andrew's hand and pulled it over his own little woodie. Andrew giggled. He just let his hand rest on Timmy's little boner.

Just then, the door to the room opened and in came a beautiful Golden Retriever. Behind the dog was a young girl. She pulled a chair up next to the bed, and the dog climbed up and put her head on Timmy's chest.

"This is Sadie. She loves little boys." She handed Timmy some treats to feed Sadie. "Rub her head or scratch under her chin. She loves that. You can give her treats. Just put it on your open hand and she will lick it up."

Timmy did that, and Sadie licked up the treat, causing Timmy to giggle. Andrew loved feeling Timmy giggle. He was falling for this adorable boy more and more. He felt like he needed to be his brother but had no idea if that was even possible.

Just then, Sarah came in. "Andrew, can I speak with you for a moment?"

Andrew slipped out of bed and went into the hallway while Timmy was getting his face licked clean by Sadie.

"Andrew, what more do you know about Timmy? Has he told you anything?"

"No, not really. But I'm sure he will tell me things. He says he loves having me as a brother. I know that I can't be, but he's really holding on to me. Is there a way we can temporarily have him stay with us?"

"I'm sorry, but that might be worse. If he gets too attached, then taking him away will break his heart. I wish I could make it work, but you know, we had to pull some strings just to get Ethan to be your foster."

"I know. But if there is anything you can do, please, try."

"Well, see if you can find out anything about that bully brother, Norman. We suspect he was beating Timmy because he wouldn't do sexual things with him, and I'm sorry to ask you, Andrew, but you know what kind of things he might be forced to do, and you have a way of talking to these hurt kids about it. See what you can find out."

"I will, Sarah." He reached out to hug her tight. "Thank you for everything. Thank you for giving me Ethan. Let's find Timmy's Ethan."

"I'm trying. But I do hope that Sadie lightened his day and I have another surprise coming soon. I can't wait to see Timmy when it happens."

"What? What is it?"

"It's a surprise, you'll have to wait too."

The TV was on in the room, and Andrew noticed that the cartoons had stopped and there was a huge fire on the TV. He could see explosions happening where the fire was. The caption under the image said it was in the neighboring town of Northfield. Apparently, a refinery was burning. Andrew's heart rate raced as he was worried about Ethan. Since it wasn't in Grizzly Valley, he wouldn't be there. Children's hospital was clear across the other side of the valley in Rockport. Andrew always thought that was an odd name for a town that didn't have rocks or a port, but whatever. At least he was safe, and so was Ethan.

Sarah had to leave, Sadie needed to go get treats from other patients, and dinner time came.

"Timmy, can you tell me about Norman?"

Timmy tensed up. He started his finger rolls. This time, Andrew noticed it. "I'm sorry, I was just curious as to why he beat you. You're so nice and cuddly, why would he hurt you."

Timmy just kept rolling his fingers. "Never mind, but if you ever want to talk about it, I'm here and I understand. I was beat pretty badly myself."

"I can't. It's embarrassing."

"If I told you why I was beat, you'd think it's embarrassing, too, Timmy." My daddy beat me. I almost died. He beat me so hard. He was fucking me. Do you know what that is?"

"I think so. He was putting his woodie in your butt, right?"

"Yeah, he was doing it very rough and caused me to bleed. So I've told you my secret. Can you tell me yours?"

"Um, well, Norman kept trying to stick his woodie in my mouth. But it was smelly, and too big. He kicked me because my teeth hurt, but I couldn't help it."

Andrew hugged him and held him. He whispered in Timmy's ear. "Don't worry, brother, he's never going to hurt you again. I'm sorry he did that to you." Andrew tussled with the little boy's blond locks. He turned his face and looked into his sparkly blue eyes and kissed him on the lips. "I'll protect you little brother. You're safe." Andrew was still spooning Timmy when they both dozed off for a little bit.

After an hour or so, the boys were awakened when dinner was brought in, and it was cute little dinosaur and spaceship shaped chicken pieces, some veggies and juice. Both boys enjoyed their dinner, but there wasn't any sauce. The nurse said it was because of the dialysis diet.

Once the trays were taken away, Andrew went back to cuddling Timmy and watching the TV. Just then, the phone in the room rang. It was on the rolling table by the bed, so Andrew reached over and got it to hand it to Timmy.

"Hello?"

A man at the other end says, "Yes, hi, is this Timmy?"

"Yeah?"

"Hi Timmy. I have someone here that would love to talk to you. Do you have a few minutes?"

"I guess so." Timmy shrugged his shoulders at Andrew, not knowing what this was about. Andrew was listening in to the conversation as much as he could hear.

"Alright, here you go."

A young boy comes on the line. "Hi, Timmy?"

"Yeah."

"Its Joey Murphey. I heard you like my music."

"This isn't Joey Murphey. He wouldn't call me he's too busy."

"No I'm not. I'm about to be in trouble in a little while."

Trying to make sure he's not pranked, he asks a question of Joey. "If you're Joey Murphey, then tell me your brothers' names."

"Tran and Alejandro. They are sitting right here looking at me. Want to talk to them too?"

"Yeah right. I don't believe you." Timmy says, still thinking it's a trick.

"OK I'm going to put you on speaker then. Say Hi to Timmy guys."

"Hi Timmy. It's Alejandro. "

"And Tran."

"I guess I better say I'm here too. It's Eric Murphey."

Timmy covers the mouthpiece on the phone and whispers to Andrew, "I think it really is them." Then, uncovering the mouthpiece, he says. "Is it really you?"

"Sure it is. I just called because your case worker is friends with my dad's best friend, and she said you were sick and liked my music and I said cool. Not that you're sick; that's never cool. Except like when you got a test or something then it's not as bad. But I was like, cool, he likes my music. So I asked for your phone number and here I am talking to ya."

Timmy heard a dog barking in the background.

"You got a dog?" Timmy asks excitedly.

"Yeah we just got him. He's supposed to be for all of us. But he really likes Alejandro the best. I think its really his dog. But its OK, he still plays with us too."

"I like dogs and puppies. Puppies are so funny and soft."

"Maybe dad will get me a puppy." Timmy figured that was being said for Eric to hear which was confirmed when he could hear Eric in the background say, "I think one dog is enough for now. Beside we have your tour soon. Don't want to take a puppy on that mess."

"No not a good idea."He hears Joey agree.

"Miss Sarah said she was going to try to get me into a house with a puppy."

"That would be cool." Joey tells him.

"Is it true you got a bowling alley in your house?" Timmy asks.

"Yeah. It was in the house when dad bought it. Otherwise we wouldn't have it."

"Why not your dads like super rich he owns like all the McDonald's in the world."

Eric could be heard laughing at this.

"Dad doesn't waste money. He says all the time we are to be...What is it dad?"

"Apparently, I need to say it more often. We are to be stewards with our money, not consumers. Meaning we take care of our money so it grows into more so we can help people that deserve it."

"See that's why."

"Joey why don't you play him that song." Alejandro suggests.

"Yeah buddy. Lets hear it."

"Timmy you want to hear a new song I wrote?"

"Shoot yeah." Timmy was so excited, first that he's actually talking to Joey but that he's going to play something just for him!

"OK, we got to go into where the piano is." Timmy could hear the gang moving to the other room.

"Now this has never been recorded and I don't have all the words yet. So I'm just going to play the song."

"This is so cool." Timmy responds.

Joey plays the song, and everyone relaxes and listens to it. When he is done, he can hear Timmy clapping.

"Thank you. Thank you very much." Joey says imitating Elvis making Timmy giggle.

Joey muffled the phone, but you could hear him ask if he could talk to Timmy alone for a bit. A moment later, Joey was talking to Timmy.

"I get to talk to a lot of fans, but when Joy told me about your troubles, I knew I had to get to talk to you. If you don't mind me asking, who hurt you?"

Timmy wasn't sure if he should say anything, but Andrew nudged him, "It was my foster brother. He kept trying to force me to do sex stuff and when I didn't do it right, he would kick and punch me."

"I'm sorry Timmy. I hear you are on daily sis or something. That doesn't sound fun."

"It's not fun. It's a big machine that takes my blood out and puts it back in. But I met a friend at the shelter who sits with me and makes it more fun, but he has to go back to school. I want him to be my brother, but I don't think that will work."

"Why won't that work?"

"Well, he was living on the streets and was rescued from a fire. The fireman that saved him is now his dad, but they don't make enough money for him to be able to take me in too. Andrew, that's his name, told me that they almost didn't let him stay. He's so nice, I've been calling him my brother, but..." Timmy started to cry. "I don't think it will ever be. It really sucks being alone."

They talked some more for almost half an hour before they hung up.

Timmy pulled Andrew's arms tight around him. "Joey is so lucky. He has a great dad, great brothers, and he's super cute, super talented, and has the perfect life."

"He is lucky, but you know what? I'm lucky to have met you. I almost died after having to live on the streets, and now I have Ethan. We don't have much money or extra things, but we have each other. Now you have me, I'll always be proud to be called your brother, and if Sarah can make it happen, she will. I love you, Timmy." He kissed Timmy's neck and just let his nose rest against the boy's head. He loved how this boy smelled and felt. He really hoped that Sarah would figure something out.

The phone rang again, and it was Joey, this time telling Timmy there would be a surprise box coming tomorrow. Timmy was so excited.

As the evening went on, Andrew was starting to worry. Nobody came to get him, so he figured he was staying another night. He would rather be here than at home alone, and school was boring since it was so easy for him. The boys got caught up in some show on TV and dozed off. They brought Timmy some medicine, and it made him fall asleep very quickly.

Andrew's hand absentmindedly rested on Timmy's crotch. Timmy quickly became aroused, and Andrew couldn't help himself and slowly stroked the boy. Somehow, Timmy was only wearing the hospital gown. His underwear had disappeared earlier in the day.

Andrew didn't realize what he was doing until suddenly he felt Timmy's body stiffen, then shake. Timmy shuddered, and let out a moan. Andrew realized he had just given the boy his first dry cum. Timmy's eyes opened up and he had a surprised look on his smiling face. "What was that?"

"Did you like it?"

"Yes, what was it? Can you do it again?"

"I really shouldn't. I'm sorry I didn't ask you first."

"No, please, please do it again! That was amazing."

"Well, my friends and I called it getting the tingles. It's when you do sexual stuff and your body enjoys it."

"Please do that again."

Andrew resumed his stroking. After about five minutes, Timmy experienced his second one. He didn't ask for a third, he just started to doze off. Andrew kissed him again and followed suit and joined Timmy in dreamland.
