Chapter 39 - You're Fired - now what.

They got back to the house and Sarah greeted them along with the chief and the other search team.

Timmy jumped off of Mr. Thomas' lap and ran to Sarah. "Miss Sarah, we found him. He's OK."

"I see, and I'm sure he will tell you it's not your fault, Timmy, right Andrew?"

"Oh, Timmy, I'm sorry if you thought it was your fault. You could never do anything to make me run away. Besides, I was just scared and worried for Ethan, so I needed to think, but apparently that mountain lion needed to think too."

"Andrew, I was worried you ran because of me." Mr. Thomas said. "I yelled out the same words that I did that made Lincoln run. I felt so guilty."

"Everyone, thank you for the help. I really do appreciate everyone coming to help. This is a private family issue and it escalated. Thank God it didn't end up with anyone being hurt, other than some feelings." Ethan said to everyone.

The search and rescue team said their goodbyes, but the chief stayed and wanted to talk to Ethan.

"I'm going to let you rest and be with your family, but we need to talk, son." The chief said to Ethan. He left, and the house was quiet. Sarah asked if they needed anything before she left as well. It was getting late.

"Thanks, but I think we are fine. You're the best." Ethan said as he hugged her and sent her on her way.

Mr. Thomas hugged the boys and Ethan. "Look, son, I know you and Andrew have something special. All I want to know is this. Andrew, is this what you want? Or do you think you have to do this to keep Ethan?"

"Mr. Thomas, er, dad, Ethan refused me over and over, telling me he didn't want it. I backed off, and we grew together. He's more than my foster dad, more than a dad, he's my partner. I love him more than anything in the world, and I want to show him that and we express our love that way. I want it, I think I pressured him, but we both want it and we are partners."

"That's true, dad." Ethan added.

"Well, it's a bit odd, but I'll accept it. You two know how important it is that you keep it a secret, right?"

"Yes, dad, we know."

"Well, I don't get it, but I see the love you two have. I'll let it be. I love you both. I love you too, Timmy." He said as he went into his room to go to bed.

The Next Morning

When the three woke up, they could smell bacon and coffee. They quickly all rubbed their eyes, and Ethan pulled them all into the shower. "Let's get cleaned up to go see what Dad's cooking up." He reached in and turned on the water. He hadn't realized how nice this shower was until now. There was an overhead rain head, wall nozzles, a hand-held wand, and two wall-mounted shower heads.

"This is like a carwash!" Timmy said, as he spun around in the water.

Andrew instinctively grabbed some shampoo and started cleaning Timmy. He didn't know why, but it seemed like the right thing to do. They scrubbed and cleaned, and Timmy got an eye full of Ethan's cock. Andrew noticed him looking at it and asked him if he wanted to wash it. He looked at Andrew and decided not to, so Andrew grabbed some body wash and soaped up his man. Ethan's cock grew and he realized he had an audience, so he told Andrew that it was clean and to rinse it off.

The three got out and dried off in big fluffy towels Mr. Thomas had in the bathroom for them. They all put on underwear and tee shirts to go out to breakfast.

Mr. Thomas got a glimpse of a beautiful family as the three came down the hall to the kitchen.

"I hope you're hungry. I've made pancakes, bacon, eggs, coffee, and juice for you."

"Thanks Dad!" Ethan said as he pulled up a stool to the bar and helped the boys serve their plates.

After breakfast, they all cleaned up the dishes and sat out in the family room.

"Dad, I'm confused. Why are you giving me the house?"

"Son, I really screwed up after Lincoln and I really thought I fucked up again last night. Seeing your two boys together reminded me of what I robbed you of. You lost your big brother. You lost your father. I can't get that back, but I want to try to be a family going forward. You know, I don't even know your sister. I send her a card for birthdays and holidays, but I have only seen her a few times. Your mom is so upset with me. She blames me for Lincoln and for screwing up the family. Do you think you can help me mend the fence with your mom and sister? "

"Dad, one thing at a time, and maybe you and I should talk without the boys."

"They need to be part of this discussion sometime, so why not now?"

"Dad, I'm all for building our relationship back, but it's going to be hard. It took Andrew a lot of work to break down my walls for me to love him instead of wanting to just help him. I'm sorry you saw our expression of our love, but you saw that he can't live without me and I feel the same way. We have a connection I can't explain and don't want to replace or break. "

"I see it, and I wish I had that with you and Lincoln. I mean, I didn't want the sex part, but that's your business." Mr. Thomas suddenly felt awkward.

"No, dad, this is different. Andrew and I are more than that. He is me, and I am him. I mean, dad, I can't explain how I feel about him and for him. Andrew is my life. He's more than a son, he's more than a partner. He's part of me. I don't care what people think or say. Andrew, am I wrong?"

"No, Ethan, you are more than a father, more than a partner."

"Son, I see that with you. How can we have a bond? "

"Dad, we will work on it, but it will be different. And I can help with mom and Kelli, but you are going to have to be patient. "

"You're going to have to remind me when I slip, but let's be a family again."

Ethan and Mr. Thomas hugged.

Just then, Ethan's phone rang. "Hello?" You could hear someone talking loudly on the other end of the phone. "Yes, Chief, I understand, Chief. I'll see you later today."

Ethan hung up the phone and just looked down. He was sitting with both feet on the ground, his arms resting on his knees, his phone in his hand, and his head hung low.

Andrew jumped up and ran to put his arm over his shoulder. "What's going on?"

"The Chief is bringing over my stuff from the station. They are letting me go from the department. I'll get disability for a while, and I can appeal it, but he wants to talk first."

The morning dragged on, waiting for the chief.

The boys were organizing the room a bit better. Andrew was wondering how this was going to work with Timmy, but until Ethan was healed, he would let things be. Besides, if Ethan was unemployed, they might take him away from Ethan.

Andrew started to shake. Timmy grabbed him. "Andrew, it's going to be OK. I know it. "

"If this is about Alejandro and Joey, I doubt they can help. They can't save us and keep us together."

"If Joey said so, I believe him. He's like a superstar, you know. And Eric, his dad, is richer than God. He like owns McDonalds or something."

Andrew was trying not to panic. He got up to go get some water from the kitchen. As he got to the fridge, he opened it to find it stocked with his favorite, he grabbed a Fanta. Mr. Thomas had bought the glass bottles of Fanta from Mexico. They tasted so much better. He put the church key over the top and fidgeted until the cap popped off. He walked out the back door into the yard. He needed to think. He needed to be alone.

Timmy didn't know what to do, but he had seen Andrew get a Fanta and went to get one, but had no idea how to open it, so he wandered over to Mr. Thomas. "Bapa, could you open this for me, please?"

"Sure thing, kiddo." He stood up, rubbed Timmy's blond mop, and went to get the church key. He popped the top and Timmy asked if he could come sit with him. They went back out to the family room, and Timmy climbed into his Bapa's lap with his soda.

"Bapa, do you know Joey?"

"No, son, I don't."

"He's a singer. A really famous singer. He called me at the hospital."

"That's nice. That's really nice."

"Yeah, well, he sent me a bunch of stuff, and even a tablet so I can message him. He's really nice. He told me his brother and dad were going to make sure I can stay with daddy."

"Well, I don't know anything about that, but if you have a way I can talk to his dad, I can find out. Right now, though, we need to worry about keeping Andrew too."

"I know. Bapa?"

"Yes?"

"Andrew went out back by himself. He looked like he was sad."

"He's probably worried too. Do you mind if I go find him?"

"No, he would like that, Bapa."

"Allright." He lifted Timmy off and put him on the couch. He went out the back door to find Andrew. He didn't have to go far. There were a few log benches around the yard, and Andrew was sitting there crying, drinking his Fanta. When he saw Mr. Thomas approaching, he tried to wipe away the tears, but they kept coming.

"I'm going to get sent away, aren't I?" He asked.

"We don't know that, son, and I'm going to do whatever I can to keep that from happening. Things have been going well, and I have faith that we will come up with something."

He put his arm around Andrew's shoulders. "Do you know anything about this Joey and Alejandro?"

"You mean Joey Murphey? Yeah, he's a musician that Timmy really loves and they have talked. Joey even sent him a box of goodies and his personal tablet so they could chat. Timmy said that Joey's brother had talked to their dad about making sure he could stay."

"That's interesting. Well, I guess we should talk to them, but for now, let's help Ethan through whatever the Chief has to say."

"OK." Just then, they heard a bell. "What's that?" Andrew asked.

"Oh, that's the gate buzzer. Let me open the gate."

Mr. Thomas pulled out his cell phone, called a number, and he was connected to the gate. "Hi, who's there, please?"

"It's the Chief here to see Ethan."

"Come on up." Mr. Thomas pressed a few digits to open the gate. They walked into the house to go through to the front door to greet the man.

"Hi Chief." Mr. Thomas said as he greeted him. "Who's this gentleman with you?"

"I'm Chief Arnolds, of the Department of Forestry."

"Ethan is right over here." They walked into the family room. Ethan was still sitting in the same forlorn position. He looked up, smiled, and stood. He extended his hand to the two men.

"Thomas, your services in the Grizzly Valley Fire Department are no longer needed. Cheif Arnold and I feel you would be better suited to join his team. You saw them in action last night when they helped find your dad and Andrew. He has an opening for the mountain search and rescue team for the preserve. You would be the team's Assistant Chief. You'll have to go through the application process, but with my recommendation, you should be able to qualify and start as soon as you're mended. The position is a couple of pay grades above where you are now, so that should help out your family situation with foster care."

Timmy had been standing next to the Chief the entire time. He was staring up at him. The Chief reached down and lifted him up and set him on his hip. "And how is my favorite little boy, Timmy, doing?"

"I'm doing good Chief. Andrew's better too."

"I see. I'm glad you're out of the hospital."

"Me too."

"Will you let the grownups talk for a bit? We need to make sure Ethan is set for his new job."

"OK." He set Timmy down, and Andrew and Timmy headed back outside. On the way out, they grabbed a couple of Fanta's from the fridge and took the church key with them. Ethan was about to stop them, but realized that one sugar high wouldn't hurt them.

On the back patio

The boys sat side by side on one of the log benches.

"Timmy, we haven't had a chance to talk about what was going on when you caught Ethan and I in bed."

"I know, you and Ethan were loving each other."

"That's right, and that is special time for us. It's also a secret. We can't tell anyone because they don't think it's right for a boy and a man to do that."

"Is daddy going to do that to me?"

"No, Timmy. Ethan and I have a special relationship, like a mommy and daddy do."

"Oh." Timmy looked down and continued to fidget with the church key, trying to open his Fanta.

"Here, let me get that." Andrew reached over and popped the top for Timmy.

Timmy kept looking down. Andrew noticed a tear drip from Timmy's face and land on his shorts. Andrew put his arm around Timmy.

"What's wrong?"

"I wanted you to be my brother. But if you and Ethan..."

"Timmy, you are my little brother, no matter what."

"But won't you be my daddy?"

"Well, if Ethan and I were married, and we adopted you, then yes, but we can't get married yet."

"Okay, I guess I understand. I was afraid I would have to let Ethan do the things he does to you to be his son. I like what you do to me to give me tingles, but I don't want his dick in my butt."

"Buddy, you and I can have our tingles fun, but you never have to do anything you don't want to. Ethan isn't like that and neither am I."

Timmy got up and hugged Andrew, spilling his Fanta down both of their shirts and shorts. The boys just laughed as they were brushing off the liquid and feeling the cold soda on them.

"Come on, let's go change."

The boys went inside, and the adults looked over at them and just started laughing.

"You're supposed to drink the soda, not bathe in it!" The chief said.

"Yeah, yeah, we know. We're going to go shower and change."

Quickly covering, Ethan said, "Use the big shower boys." so that nobody would wonder why the boys were going to his room.

Once in the bathroom, the boys stripped and started the shower.

"I want the car wash!" Timmy said.

Andrew turned on the body sprays and the two stepped in. Andrew grabbed a scruffy and covered it in body wash and cleaned his little brother. When he got to Timmy's rock hard boner, he slid his hand back and forth. Timmy moaned in pleasure.

"Give me my tingles, please, brother. I love it when you do."

Andrew sat on the floor of the shower, had Timmy sit in his lap. As Timmy sat down, he laughed because Andrew's steel rod was between his legs. Andrew grabbed Timmy's boner and jacked it slowly. He could feel Timmy squirming and hear the light moaning coming from him. Suddenly, he tensed up and shuddered. His boygasm hit and he squeezed his legs, almost causing Andrew to have his. After a few minutes, Andrew stood them both up, rinsed, and they got out of the shower, dried off, and dressed.

When they were done, they walked out to the front room where the men were all laughing and talking. They all had a bottle of beer, except Ethan, who had the last bottle of Fanta.

Next Time

We find out if Ethan gets the job, if the boys can stay and what the future holds

Readers, there is one more chapter of Andrew's Misplaced Trust. It seems as though he's found his new love and life and the man he can trust. Book two is waiting, but I need to know if you would like me to continue posting it or not. Working on these stories takes a lot of time, and as an author, we do not know if it's being read or not unless you write to us or message us. Let me know if you want book two after we wrap up this one. The next chapter is a bridge to the next book. Let's just say that Grizzly Valley Ranch (aka Andrew and Ethan's place) becomes the favorite place for all the boys in Grizzly Valley. You might remember some of them, like Jamie, Sebastian, Taylor, and the gang, along with a few new younger boys.

As you may have read, I will be taking over Transitions from my friend Eric. I hope that I can add things to that story that will keep you all interested. The boys have a lot in store coming up.

I challenge you to send a note to every writer you read. Even if it's a "Hi, read your story and I love/hate/like/despise/enjoy/read it." Receiving notes like that is like winning the lottery, even if you say it sucks. (Well, not really, but at least we know you read it.) Get a protonmail or gmail account if you want to keep it secret. But give the authors an indication that you are out there. Crickets sound nice, but not for writers.
