Leo was so relieved he suddenly hugged Martin, his friend wrapped his arms
round him tightly and held him for a while

"you've been really stressed little man" Martin said using the pet name he
gave him in college

"like you wouldn't believe" Leo responded

"OK... well I'm here now and it will all be fine so you can chill out and
relax"

Martin had always been there for Leo during college and after, he felt
protective towards Leo, always had done from the day he first met him. Leo
was sixteen and Martin a year older and much bigger. They sat in a class
room on the first day of college, the small teen looking nervous and
shy. After the first few weeks the class had worked out that Leo was gay
and he had been teased because of it. The first time martin had seen Leo
being teased he stepped in and threw the bully across the room. After that
the others were careful about saying anything in front of Martin, but still
they would be unkind when they could. Leo stuck to Martin and they became
good friends, Martin started calling Leo little man much as an older
brother would do.

Martin felt Leo relax and let him go, they talked about how the business
would work and sorted out the practical stuff. Leo heard the boys voices
coming up the drive.

"you ready to meet the boys?" he asked Martin

"as ready as I will ever be" laughed Martin

As the boys entered the house they saw Leo on the sofa and ran over and
hugged and kissed him, they didn't notice the visitor. Leo hugged and
kissed them back.

"who's this?" Tanner asked eventually seeing Martin

"boys this is Martin, he's my best friend and he's going going to be
working with me in the future. Martin this one is Tanner and this stinky
one is Jacob"

"hey!... I'm not stinky" Jacob protested

"yeah you are... you had PE today didn't you" Leo laughed

"maybe.." Jacob grinned

"yeah I can tell... stinky" Leo said then hugged the boy again kissing the
top of his head.

"nice to meet you Tanner, Jacob" Martin said

"so your dads best friend?" Jacob asked

"yep, known your dad since college.. I could tell you some stories about
him that would make you laugh!" martin joked

"really" Tanner exclaimed

"yep"

Tanner moved over to sit by martin and smiled at the older man. Martin
explained how he had meet Leo and told them funny stories about Leo and
Mike. The boys warmed up to Martin and were having fun, Leo watching was
happy he had made the right choice on bringing Martin in to work with
him. Jacob asked if Martin had kids and Martin told them about 9 year old
Max. He only had the one child and he loved the boy dearly. After a while
Leo told the boys to go look out back, the boys ran out and saw the cabin
parts.

"when can we build it?" asked Jacob excited

"Saturday"

"cool!" both boys shouted

"Leo.. how about me and Max come over and help, let the boys get to know
each other"

"yeah dad, can they?" Tanner asked

"yes of course... more the merrier" Leo smiled

"good, I better get going, so I'll see you about 9 on Saturday then" Martin
said

"sounds good to me... and Martin... thank you" Leo said before giving his
best friend a hug

"your welcome little man"

The boys seeing their dad hugging Martin decided they should too and joined
in the hug, Martin smiled as he thought his little man was all grown up now
with kids, he chuckled to himself at the thought. Leo let him go and Martin
ruffled both boys hair telling them he'd see them on Saturday, then left to
go home.

Leo had the boys sit down in the lounge for a minute as he explained that
Martin was his best friend and they could trust him, however they have to
be careful not to say anything about the private sexy stuff that they do
with each other. The boys explained that they already knew that and would
be careful. After another hug he told the boys to go shower or have a bath
because they stink from PE and he'll stick their clothes in the wash. Both
boys stripped off naked and ran upstairs giggling and had a bath.

Leo made dinner and did the washing, while waiting for Mike. He realised he
had gotten so caught up in talking to Martin and sorting stuff out that he
had neglected to discuss working with his friend to his lover. He felt a
little guilty but knew Mike would be OK, its not like they had much choice
anyway, this was the only way he'd have time to look after the baby. When
Mike got home the boys were back downstairs with towels around them, he got
damp hugs and kisses then joined Leo in the kitchen while the boys
continued playing on the Wii.

"hey hon, hows your day been... and why are the boys wet" Mike joked

"days been good, but I'll explain that over dinner and the boys were stinky
after PE so I told them to wash"

"good call, I don't want to snuggle up later to a stinky boy!" he laughed

"sooo... they met Martin today"

"really? Did he pop over"

"yeah, the boys like him although he was surprised that we had kids now"

"yeah I bet, though not as surprised as us" mike joked

Mike and Leo carried dinner to the table and called the boys, they all sat
and ate while Leo explained why Martin came over and how Martin was going
to be working with Leo, he also apologised to Mike for not discussing it
with him first. Mike was fine though and thought it a perfect solution. It
would also give the boys a new friend, as they really didn't have many at
school. After dinner they all relaxed with the Wii before putting a film
on. By the end of the film the boys were asleep so the Mike and Leo put
them to bed in the boys room and headed to bed themselves. They slept happy
that things seemed to be working out.
