This story will contain graphic depictions of sex between males of teen and adult ages (M/m, m/m). If this is an issue for you or the laws where you live, you are obviously in the wrong place. Also, this is a story with plot, not merely wank material. You have been warned. I have posted another story in the Gay / high school section, called A Ghost Finds a Body. Feel free to check it out. Cadence Part 16 Cade woke up the next morning warm and relaxed, still snuggled comfortably against Duncan's front. Assessing his situation, he found that Duncan seemed to have done a fairly good job of cleaning Cade up after their sex romp. He could feel that his hole was well fucked, but he wasn't sticky with lube or cum. He was impressed, as the man usually just went straight to sleep after sex, saving cleanup for the next morning while leaving them to sleep in the aftermath of their carnal fun. Slipping gently out of bed, Cade ran to go relieve his bladder and clean up. After realizing how relatively clean he was compared to most mornings after sex with Duncan, Cade gave a lazy stretch and went back to bed. It was nice and warm under the blankets as he snuggled back up to Duncan, who stirred enough to wrap his arms back around the young teen. "I always forget how tiny you are," Duncan mumbled sleepily as he nuzzled the back of Cade's head. Some time later, Cade awakened more fully as Duncan stirred behind him. He rolled over and they cuddled and kissed as they came more fully awake, morning breath be damned. Cade thought he should probably take advantage of the amiable atmosphere to ask his favor. "Hey Duncan?" Once Duncan acknowledged that he was listening, Cade said, "So, I need a favor. Do you think you could maybe take me and Jordan for haircuts? I don't know what your day looks like." Duncan leaned back and grabbed his phone off the nightstand, checking the time. Cade felt his usual sting of jealousy that he couldn't afford a cell phone, but it quickly slid out of his mind, like it usually did. "Well, it's almost 9, and I was planning on spending the day with you guys, and head out when I go to work tomorrow. How about all three of us go out after lunch?" "Yeah, that would be great!" "Good. Why don't you go get your brother up, and then you guys work on knocking out any homework while I fix some breakfast." "Yeah, we can do that. Thanks." "One last thing, before you go." Duncan tossed his phone down next to his pillow and propped himself up on his elbow. "Jordan had an interesting conversation with me." Cade visibly froze, waiting to hear where this was going to go. "Okay," he said cautiously. "He said he knew about us, and wanted to know how he could help? Maybe even give you a break once in a while?" Cade brought his knee up hard, doing his damnedest to hit Duncan in the balls. Both of them being under the covers, he had horrible aim and did little more than hitting Duncan's meaty thigh. "Motherfucker," growled Cade. "I told you to leave him the fuck out of this. Is that why you had your hand all up under his shirt last night?" "Whoa, whoa, calm down!" chuckled Duncan, trying to pin the teen and keep him from continuing his attack. "Relax, Cade. Relax." Cade quit fighting, but he was still pissed. He calmed down enough to see what the bastard was going to say. "I told you, he asked me. And I know exactly how you feel about this. I turned him down. I told him that he and I weren't going to happen. Okay?" He paused, looking hard at Cade, waiting for eye contact. "Okay?" he repeated. Finally Cade nodded, clearly still a bit upset. "Seriously," said Duncan, "I turned him down. Told him it wasn't necessary and that he should talk to you. And then I told you." He reached out and cupped Cade's cheek. "I've kept my word, babe." "Fine," said Cade cautiously. "But I mean what I said. I'm glad you remembered." "Oh, I fully believe what you said, and I'm sticking by it." Duncan paused. "He asked me about something else? I suppose it was something you were already planning to ask me about." "Um, okay?" With a look in his eyes that could have been teasing or cruel, Duncan said, "Jordan said you have a boyfriend and want to go out on a date?" "Fuck," Cade muttered under his breath. "Hey," said Duncan. "Cade, babe. Did you think you couldn't have a boyfriend? I'm okay with this. I think it's great." "What? Why" "Man, when did we ever, in our whole agreement, say that we had to be exclusive?" "You're really not mad?" asked Cade tentatively. "Hell no. I think it's healthy as hell that you get a boyfriend your own age. So what's this date idea you had?" Cade filled him in on Nathan's offer for the next Saturday. The more Duncan signaled appreciation for the details of the idea, the more Cade allowed himself to feel good about the situation. Duncan offered to see what he could do to help out with things. As they ate lunch, Duncan clarified what exactly Cade was looking for in a haircut, commenting that he thought the teen looked pretty good with long hair. Cade lamented how he felt his old dye job looked pretty ratty. "So what about a new dye job, instead?" Jordan loved the idea, especially when Duncan offered one for him as well, and Cade was pretty easily sold on the idea as well. They made an afternoon of it, browsing a few stores and hitting up a pretty fancy salon where they got a bit of trim up before getting a bleach and dye job. In the past, the best Cade had ever managed was a box job from Walmart, going for a pretty standard black. Duncan convinced him he would look a lot better with more of a scene look, rather than his standard monochrome black. In the end, he ended up with his hair flat ironed and feathered, black around the edges, with the bulk of his hair in two sets of stripes going black, white, and deep purple. Jordan ended up with his usual brown locks transformed into a deep electric blue. Cade laughed goodnaturedly, at first thinking of clowns, but eventually deciding he liked it. The trio ended up going on a small shopping spree at Walmart, restocking toiletries and household supplies, but also some new items Duncan thought the boys might enjoy to go with their new hair, such as an inexpensive flat iron and a couple of bottles of nail polish. Black for Cade, and electric blue for Jordan. Duncan did suggest, and Cade agreed, that Jordan really did need to wait until Friday and D&D before doing his nails, still being in elementary school. Jordan seemed a bit put off, but then Duncan let him pick out a couple of things out of the toy section, which had the boy giddy with delight. "Not that I don't seriously appreciate all this or anything, but what's going on? Did you get a big promotion or something?" Duncan laughed. "Something like that. Just sit back and enjoy things for a minute." Cade's head really spun when they went to check out, and Duncan pulled out a bunch of extra cash back after he paid for their stuff. He ended up giving $120 to Cade, telling him that it was $50 apiece for the mall next Saturday, and an extra $20 for Cade's date. Cade was floored, and if he was honest with himself, a bit suspicious. Good things just didn't happen to him. Dinner was just as surprisingly excellent. Duncan actually took them to Red Robin, where they all had giant cheeseburgers with tons of toppings and even more fries, as the waitress kept bringing them more baskets. They all laughed and told jokes. Cade ate so much that he seriously thought he was going to be sick, and still took more than half his burger home in a box with a whole heap of fries. Jordan did the same, so Cade was thrilled that he knew what they would have for dinner the next day. Jordan was over the moon about the whole day, and wouldn't quit thanking Duncan, saying he couldn't remember the last time they had been to a sit down restaurant. Duncan joked that if he had realized it was that easy to impress the boy, he should have done it ages ago. The two laughed, but it really sobered Cade up, because once again, it reminded him of how much his little brother was really missing. He also didn't really trust that all was well. Nothing good ever seemed to happen with him unless it came with a cost. Their evening at home was more of the same, with Jordan excited about his new toys, a pair of new shirts he had been able to pick out, and another evening with Duncan around. When they finally went to bed, Duncan gave Cade another surprise as he was unusually tender and attentive in his lovemaking, being nowhere as aggressive as he typically was. Cade allowed himself to relax and enjoy the experience, deciding that if the other shoe was to drop, stressing about it wouldn't do anything to mitigate it. By Tuesday, Cade still had not seen a sign of James, so he decided to kill two birds with one stone, and before school he stopped by the office and made an appointment with Mr. Jordan, the guidance counselor, and managed to schedule the time for the beginning of third period. Cade just knew that Mr. Albrechdt was going to get tired of him missing pieces of class! During the break from second to third period, Cade headed to the office and waited to be called back to Mr. Jordan's office. Sitting in the small side row of chairs, he was able to see when James arrived for his shift in the office. When he saw Cade, first he saw the hair before he saw the boy. "Woah, my guy," James said, laughing. "I would make fun of that hair, but it oddly suits you." "Stuff it," laughed back Cade. "Have you got just a second?" "Yeah, what's up? Were you just in here waiting to talk to me?" "Kind of? I'm also here for Mr. Jordan, whenever he's ready for me," Cade said. He looked around to see if anyone was close enough to hear what they were saying. "Were you serious about wanting to try going out?" "Hell yeah," whispered James, leaning in close and giving Cade a seductive look. "What about Saturday? Think we could meet up at the mall around dinner? Hang out, maybe take in a movie?" "Cedarwood, right? Maybe around five?" "Yeah, Cedarwood Mall. And five would be cool. I'll be there with my friend and brother, but they will take off once you get there." "Aww, are you afraid for them to meet me?" Cade laughed. "Naw, I'd just rather have the opportunity to hang out with you, outside of school." "I'm just messing with you, dude." "I know. Oh, you don't have a car, do you? I don't know if you have your license." "Yeah, I got it a few months ago. Why, you going to need a ride home or something?" "If that's possible?" asked Cade. "For a hottie like you? I'll take you for a 'ride' anytime you want," James said with a lecherous twinkle in his eye. Cade blushed, and then was saved by hearing his name called. Promising to say goodbye on his way out after his appointment, Cade followed back to Mr. Jordan's office, where he was seated as before. The counselor opened the discussion. "So, Mr. Dylan. You said you go by Cade, not Caden, correct?" "Yes, Sir." "So what can I do for you? Have you thought of some extracurricular activities that might suit you? Or is this about something else?" In answer, Cade reached into his backpack and removed a folder, sliding it across the desk. "I'm wondering if something like this might be a possibility for the school. If you and the school supported it, I would be willing to put in the work to make it happen." Mr. Jordan took a good five minutes reading through the presentation, which had actually been set in a bound report folder like something that would be turned in for a research paper. As he read it through, he would occasionally flip to an earlier page, or to the back to reference the list of websites and other sources provided. Finally he set the paper down and sat back in his chair. "This is, well I don't know how else to say it, a very well thought out and organized offer. I have no doubt that every one of the websites listed here would be nothing but helpful." "Thank you?" Cade said hesitantly. "What do you think of the offer itself?" "It's not the worst idea in the world. And I appreciate that you already listed the proper spin to sell the idea to those of more questionable opinions. I don't hate it." "But you aren't thrilled." Cade didn't make it a question. "I didn't say that. Let's just say that I am cautiously optimistic," said Mr. Jordan. "If you want a bit of homework, check out a term from the 1980s called 'The Satanic Panic'. That may give you an idea of why I don't immediately jump on this." Cade grinned. "I already play Dungeons and Dragons, Mr. Jordan. I know its history. But this isn't the 80s or even the 90s. Roleplaying games such as D&D have proved time and again to help with problem students, to aid in teaching conflict resolution, basic math used on the fly and more. It's more popular and mainstream than ever." "Yes, I read your proposal. And I agree. This could be a good activity. And yes, I will do my best to sell it. I just wanted to temper your expectations, just in case." "I understand," said Cade. "So is this something I can leave with you? Is there anything I can be doing until I hear back from you?" "Just keep doing what you're doing, making A's and blowing the bell curves," Mr. Jordan said with a grin. "Yes, Sir. Thank you for your time." "Go on. Get out of here. Go stop by the front desk and get a pass for your class." Cade wanted to flirt a bit more with James, but he was sitting in the back stapling stacks of papers together. He had to get his pass from one of the secretaries, and had to make do with a quick wave. James slyly blew him a kiss which made Cade's cheeks flush as he slipped out of the office. Cade was in an amazing mood for the rest of the day, until he walked into sixth period Physics. One of the downsides of being in so many AP classes was that sometimes, "AP" just meant taking upper grade classes. Thus the majority of the students in his Physics class were Juniors, two and sometimes three years older than Cade. Today he walked in to see a group of some of these older guys, mostly jocks who were barely passing the class, all sitting around in a huddle, laughing. From the center of the group, he saw one of the head morons, a football player named Christopher, holding up a paper. He called out in a falsetto squealing voice, "I really did have something to talk to you about yesterday, even if I did get distracted with a pair of two-lips! You could hang out with me every day!" Cade froze mid-stride. Of course he recognized the line. Fuck! James letter had been in his physics book. Did it fall out the day before? And of course, these Neanderthals had to be the ones to find it. Cade was fuming, a cross between being pissed at these assholes, pissed at himself for dropping the letter, and humiliation over it being read out loud. "Hey Cade," came one more call from that asshole, Christopher. "Remember, somebody still thinks you are 'way too adorable' when you blush!"
