Michael pondered for only a second. "It's a tie," he said. "Oh? Between what?" "The first sight of you in your tux, driving to the prom with your head on my shoulder, being at the prom - with you, driving to your parents house - with you, being at the after party - with you, going to the cruise, being on the cruise, coming back from the cruise, and hugging you goodnight." Trevor nodded. "Is that all?" "Well ok. Then laying in bed thinking about you, too," Michael added. Trevor laughed, turning red slightly. Too cute! Michael just rolled his eyes and laughed. "I think we need some coffee and breakfast. Whaddya say?" Michael asked. "Oh! I almost forgot. I came over here to invite you to breakfast at my mom and dad's." Michael laughed, "Trevor, you've been here for like 15 minutes. They probably think we jumped in the shower or the sack and you'll be back for lunch." Trevor just jumped up and grabbed Michael's hand and led him out the back door and over to his parents' house, half-running the distance as if to hurry after lagging so long. It was one of those standard breakfasts that always seemed to taste the best - eggs, toast, bacon, some hash browns, o.j. and coffee. Although sincerely only modest for portions, Michael could barely finish all his breakfast. After he was done, he politely asked Trevor if there was a wheelchair available for the breakfast-disabled. All laughed heartily. It was a good morning. "So," Trevor's mom asked between coffee sips, "any plans for the weekend?" It was a non-direct question, seemingly asking her son and Michael at the same time. Trevor shrugged, "Aw well, I've got to start working on my speech, and there's a poem to finish that I've barely started on for American Lit. But other than that, nothing major. What about you Michael?" "Sort of a busy weekend I guess. I've got to pull some cable and install some computers for a collection agency one night, probably tonight, that's moving to a new office. And sometime either today or tomorrow I'm going to go looking for a new car." "A new car? You're trading your car in?!" Trevor exclaimed. "No way! It runs great and is in great shape. Michael, you need more coffee," and he got up and filled his friend's cup back up. Everyone laughed again. Trevor and Michael had, progressively, been more and more themselves when around Trev's parents. Not intimately, but their usual light, joking and easy demeanor. The smiles that they always displayed with each other were more the norm around Trev's parents. They'd known each other for almost 9 years, over half of the young boy's life. It showed. They were almost a comedy team. Nevermind, forget the "almost". Michael smiled. "Well, I was either going to trade it in or sell it, I guess. I wasn't too worried about it." "Not worried about it?" Trevor rolled his eyes. "Geeze." Michael had put two-and-two together a while back. Trevor had been saving for a car, and had nearly $3000 in the bank. The trade-in value of Michael's car was in the vicinity of $8000, even for its year. He looked up at Trevor's parents, and both gave him a slight nod. Which did not go unnoticed by Trevor. "What? Am I going on a boat cruise again?" That got instant laughter from his parents. "Come on Michael, that was nice but twice in one week is a bit much," he said, playing it up, giggling a bit. Soooo cute. Michael couldn't help but shake his head and sip his coffee, gathering his thoughts. "Well. Here was my idea. If it's ok with you of course...." Trevor was all ears. Michael casually looked up at him from his coffee to make sure he had his boy's undivided attention. "Although my little sweetheart of a car is worth quite a bit, I already have a car in mind that I'd like to buy. I am about, oh, $3000 short" and he paused and looked at Trev, "of the down payment I'd like to put on it...." Trevor's eyes lit up. "No way!" "....and so, if you'd like my car, you can have it for the $3K you have in the bank, and the rest of it is a graduation gift to you. One, for being you. Two, for being more valuable to my business than I've ever been able to pay you for, and three......" All ears, if not eyes, were turned to Michael. "....three, because I love you to death and you're the greatest, Trev." It was the first time he'd called him 'Trev' in front of his parents. Trevor instantly had tears, but was also happier than hell that he'd just gotten a dream car. He leapt from the kitchen table and ran to his bedroom, yelled Waa!Hoo!, ran to the bathroom and looked at himself in the mirror, then ran back to the kitchen and did a cute dance around the table, singing. Yup, the inner-boy definitely just escaped and was on the loose. It was the same boy that Michael had fallen in love with so many years ago. He stopped. "Michael...." Michael just smiled, looked down and sipped his coffee. "You're serious." Michael nodded. "And it's ok with you two?" he asked his parents. They nodded. He smiled that wide, beaming cute boy-smile that had melted Michael on at least a hundred occasions. "Well, I'd better shower and get ready, we have a busy day. Car shopping, bank, DMV, and then some cable pulling. Right?" Michael nodded, smiling. Trevor whooshed from the room on his way to get ready. Then came back with a quizzical look on his face. "Um. Do you guys have any other surprises?" His mom smiled and his dad laughed out loud. "Why Trevor, it wouldn't be a surprise then, would it?" his dad quipped. "Just trying," he smiled back, and left to go shower. No one at the table spoke, although there were probably quite a few unspoken words on various subjects. No tension, just sort of an odd 'quiet'. Michael thanked Trev's parents for the nice breakfast, and put his dish and coffee cup in the sink. Both parent rose as is good manners when a guest leaves, and gave Michael the DMV paperwork that his dad had already signed so that Michael could take his son out to buy and own a car. His mom showed him to the back door and said, "Thanks Michael. That was very kind." Michael smiled, "You're welcome. He's worth it," and left. Both Trevor and Michael were lost in thought while they showered. Trevor used the shampoo that Michael loved to smell in his hair - rasberry - as well as matching conditioner. His blonde hair just seemed to fall exactly right. Always had. He quickly shaved while still in the shower, rinsed off and nearly sprung from the tub onto the bath mat. Michael had a similar routine, except he liked to shave in the mirror, letting his body air out and dry off fully. He was about half-way done when a familiar knock at his front door echoed through the house. He smiled. "Come in." Trevor came down the hallway smiling from ear to ear. Ah yes, his boylover, scantily clad, shaving, and ... "Michael. Are you getting wood here?" Trevor smiled impishly. Michael did his best to finish shaving the last two patches of remaining shaving cream off before he was unable to. Which would be very soon. "Dunno. Maybe I should call some young, handsome, lithe, blonde boy to do a thorough inspection. Ha! Damn! Well, here you are! What a coincidence!" Trevor's impish smile turned to big, Snidley-Whiplash grin. He leaned against Michael's back and put his cheek flat. His two wandering hands snaked their way around to the front of the towel, and explored slowly. "Hmmm. I do believe that there is wood in sight, sir. But in the interest of Wood Science everywhere, I feel compelled to be completely sure." "Of course," Michael smiled, playing along, still trying to finish shaving. The towel soon slipped down to the floor, and Trevor grazed Michael's erection with the tips of his fingers. Michael inhaled. Now if he could just wash his face off..... He bent over to splash some water on his clean-shaven face, and began to laugh. "What?" Trevor laughed back. "Doth my backside detect errant wood in thy pants, young master?" he joked. "I feel there is an abundancy of wood present. Perhaps we should tend to this matter before we zoom off to the outside world." "Perhaps," Trevor joked back, "is a poor choice of words. "I recommend that we immediately attend to this matter, with no further stalls or words." Michael turned and planted a full-on kiss onto his lovely boy's lips, sucking in all the flavor of the boy, exploring with his tongue every region that it would reach, while their straining members pressed and rubbed against each other. Michael walked Trevor backwards down the hallway to the bedroom, lip-locked the whole way. "Fuck me," Trevor breathed. "I was just going to ask the same thing," Michael smiled. "Well then, it appears that we both have..." ...and he was cut short by Michael kissing him again, and grasping his boy's rock hard boyhood through his board shorts. Trevor groaned and his hips began gyrating motions to further press into Michael's hand. Somehow, the board shorts and the underwear beneath them seemed to just....disappear. Trevor had been hot the night before when he and Michael had to part paths and sleep in separate beds. He'd wanted Michael to hold him, press him close, and take him repeatedly in every way possible. This morning was no exception. Michael kissed and licked downward across his boy's stomach and light dusting of golden hairs to a throbbing, pulsing erection. He nuzzled Trevor's balls with his lips, nose, and tongue, lapping up the pre-cum that was leaking generously from said boyhood. Trevor bucked and thrashed about, apparently on the verge of cumming already. He turned his boy over and licked behind his balls and worked up to his freshly washed and tantilizing buttocks, crack, and anus. He rimmed Trevor mercilessly, tonguing in and out, grazing the inside of the butt cheeks lightly with his nose and tongue, all the while fondling the thrashing boy's ball sack. He again turned Trevor back over and licked the front of his balls, the inside of his thighs, driving the poor boy nearly into a frenzy. Trevor was actually panting, groaning loudly, and so wanton that his face was flushed. Michael had already donned adequate protection and was using his fingers to apply lube. His fingers sliding in and out of his boy's undulating anus brought his own and his boy's cocks to straining proportions. He slid into Trevor, causing both of them to gasp. He'd never seen his young love so lit up. He was gasping for air, rolling his eyes, sweating, and reacting to every thrust of his boylover's manhood. There was no extending the orgasms. Trevor jettisoned sperm over his head on the first squirt, and with the second and successive ones he hit his face, chest, stomach, and drizzled some thick, white cum into glistening golden pubic hairs. His twitching and spasming prostate and spincter muscles brought Michael to a huge, crashing orgasm, who spew rope after rope of cum, losing count at 10. "Ok," Michael panted, "let me know when you cum so I can be ready...." Trevor could barely laugh, exhausted for the moment. "Some day.... oh yes, some day Mr. Michael, I will gain retribution for your merciless taunting of me," he said, also panting. Michael had to laugh to himself. He'd definitely pulled that sort of thing on Trev a number of times, and the payback, if it ever arrived, was sure to be nearly an apocalypse. He got up and got a nice, warm wash rag and tenderly cleaned up his exhausted boy. He marveled that there wasn't a single situation in which Trevor didn't look strikingly handsome, cute, cuddly, and alluring. Michael still considered him one of the best looking boys he'd e-v-e-r seen. "What?" his young accomplice inquired. Michael shook his head. "I really can't believe I know you, that you're my best friend, my love and my lover, and that I still think you're one of the most beautiful boys I've laid my eyes on. I am really, really lucky, Trev," and he kissed his boy on the forehead gently. Trevor, shook his head for a moment, collected his thoughts and then spoke. "Michael, I feel we need to clear something up between us. Well maybe not, but at least clarify a couple, um, small things." "Ok." "First, I feel about as.... well that's one of the words I wanted us to quit using.... lucky. It wasn't luck, for me or for you. You know?" Michael nodded. "I know what you mean and you know what I mean when we each say that, but in truth it wasn't luck at all." "Ok, point well taken." Trevor continued, "Second, I had the... I don't know what's a good substitute word for 'lucky'... I had the privilege to meet you, get to be your friend, learn from you, have fun with you - and I don't mean just the sex - and grow up with you being there. It was sooooo cool, Michael, really. And then there's you. You're good looking, honest, smart, and intuitively wonderful. We've always been a perfect match. And I know you love me, and I for sure love you. Hell, a friggin' LOT of the things that I know about is because of you, directly or indirectly. But of course in a man/boy relationship that's going to happen." Trevor paused, then said, "How was it having to explain things to me all the time, to have to teach me so many things from the ground up. Was it a pain in the ass, or was it as cool for you as it was for me? Honest answer," and his boy's intense gaze came to rest right on Michael. Michael also paused, then smiled and said, "It was never, ever, a pain in the ass. I loved watching you learn. What I love about boys in general is nearly everything. The cute smile, the giggles they get over seemingly small things, watching their ability and judgement grow and become formidible, how they look beautifully tender, and they once they grow up, like you, they are still that boy, and an adult too. You can still see the little boy's characteristics and mannerisms in the grown-up boy. It's soooo cool, too. And for me, you were the epitome of all that. I couldn't have wished for anyone better, period. I am not only impressed and awed daily, but continually marveling at your growth, your intelligence, and your ability to use all those things I've mentioned in my soapbox speech here." "Nice," Trevor said, laughing a little. "And you mentioned the sex. Ok, I'll comment on that for only a second. With you, it is like going to another world where you are able to satisfy the other person 100% and make them nearly pass out every time, and every time I cum I swear it's the best ever. So, yeah, like that." Trevor simply gave Michael an exaggerated Cheshire-cat smile and made his eyebrows go up and down in a comical fashion. Michael moved in and gave Trev a full-on passionate kiss, pulled back, and took a deep breath. His eyes twinkled, making his boy smile hugely. "What say we go take care of getting you a car, babes?" Trevor whooped and leapt from the bed, boyhood flopping side to side, blonde, freshly washed hair whooshing around. Both were dressed in a very short time, and headed out to have a great day. First stop was the bank. Both withdrew cash and headed toward the dealership. With Trevor's $3000, Michael put down $15,000 on a vintage Jag. It was beautiful, from the wood panel interior to the black marble paint with at least 4000 coats of clear paint. It seemed to almost glow. Michael asked if he could leave his car there for a couple hours while he arranged to have it driven home. The dealership of course offered their services, but quickly saw that their client would be returning in a short while to have his young friend take ownership of the car. The DMV was a quick stop, as Trevor's dad had already filled out and counter-signed most of the paperwork ahead of time. He was the proud owner of his first car, and he certainly could not stop smiling. At all. He'd driven Michael's car before, so was used to how it handled. But now it was his car. His dad had already put a year's insurance on it for him. All that was left to do now was........drive it! Mom and dad were waiting in the front yard (thanks to Michael's call from his cell) when Trevor drove up and parked his car in the driveway. He sat in hia first car for a second, then got out. Michael had just parked and was coming over to be part of the festivities. Trevor was humbled to the point of tears, and couldn't even speak. All he could say was 'thank you' to everyone. A momentous occasion, to say the least. Mom served up some ice tea with lemon, and all literally chilled out for a few minutes. After wiping his eyes once again, he looked up at Michael, and smiled. He shook his head, and they both remembered their conversation earlier in the morning when they'd voiced how much they meant to each other. It was like two separate people being on the same phone line the way they knew each others' thoughts. Which, incidentally, didn't go unnoticed by mom and dad. "Did I miss something?" Trevor's mom asked. "Yeah, sorta. I guess so," Trevor began. "Before we headed out this morning we had a good talk on why we got along so well, and liked each other so much. It was.... nice. We've known each other for a long time and hadn't put those particular ideas into words really, until today." Mom and dad were visibly fidgety, and probably had a thousand questions, some probable hidden or latent resentment, and perhaps even some accusations. But they, too, had known Michael for a long time and he'd always been very up-front with them, helpful, a good neighbor, and undeniably a positive influence on their son. 'Mixed feelings' was probably an accurate assessment of the situation. Trevor picked up the ball, and delicately eased into an inevitable conversation. "Mom. Dad. We sorta had some of this conversation the night and morning after I let you know that I'd asked Michael to go to the prom with me, and he'd accepted." He waited and let that, and all that they'd said and agreed not to say that one night - sink in. Reaching next to him, he put his hand on Michael's shoulder, looked at him, then back to his parents. "I know this is difficult for you. But I know we can agree that Michael is one hell of a guy. One of the best people we've ever known, probably. Although I had a best friend in school and other good friends, Michael was my best 'grown-up' friend. So ok, now that I've 'grown up' too, he very much remains my best friend." He looked at Michael again, who was admiring the courage that this took. Trevor let his hand fall down Michael's arm to his hand, which he clasped and held, then looked back to his mom and dad. Another first, as he hardly ever made physical contact with Michael in front of his parents, much less ever having held Michael's hand. I really, really love this guy. Not because of the car. Or that he always found jobs for me. Or any one thing, really. You guys know this already - love is a lot of little things all put together, with tolerance, forgiveness, a bit of idiocy and error factor, and that special feeling - all rolled into one." Even his parents were in awe at what their son was saying. Neither spoke. "And, one more thing," he clasped Michael's hand ever-so-slightly more, "that I want to clear up. So that you know. Michael never initiated anything with me, ever. He never made advances, or was anything less than a gentleman who always treated me with total respect. I knew a long time ago he would never hurt me. And he hasn't. But I wanted you to know that, even though we agreed not to talk about the whole sex-thing." Everyone was silent. His parents were digesting the fact that it wasn't Michael who had initiated anything with Trevor. But rather, the reverse had taken place. It was all a bit beyond them, but it had to be said. And he'd done it. Trevor's dad, always the 'gunslinger' of the marriage, said, "So what do you have to say about all this?" to Michael, who knew the dad to be a good man, a well-reasoning man, and quite intelligent and mentally adept. Michael seemed totally at ease. Light and unfettered, yet enough seriousness added in to ensure that he was taken for his word. "Trevor is way more eloquent that I will probably ever be, and he's put things quite well and in good perspective. Every time we have any sort of a talk, including this one here, and I listen to him closely I almost always learn something. Sometimes it's how he views life, and sometimes it's about how life actually is. So I guess for whatever reason we mentally connected at some point. As you know, because he's your son, I would have to be an insensitive idiot not to admire him." Michael paused, looked at Trevor, then back to mom and dad. "If you're asking me do I love Trevor, the answer is undeniably yes. Do I have every ramification of that answer nailed down? No, not even. But just to bring you along with me on this conversation, I'd guess that you would've probably answered similarly if someone had asked you that question right after you said you loved each other." It was nearly the same way that Trevor had talked to his mom and dad that morning at the breakfast table. It wasn't intended to throw anything back in their faces, but rather to have them look back and see that indeed, they weren't that much different when they'd fallen in love. Again Michael paused, but he didn't vary his gaze. Intently he continued. "Probably the simplest way I can think of to describe it, is that we both became very good friends, have a deep respect and care for each other, and we just don't want each other to go away." Trevor gave a nod of assent, and smiled. "Well," he said getting up from his chair, "anyone like a refill on their ice tea?" They chit-chatted for a while longer, had some killer club-sandwiches ala mom, and Trevor asked when they needed to do the after-hours job. Michael looked at his watch and said, "Well, they're supposed to give me an hour's advance of when they'll be gone for the day which was supposed to be half an hour ago." A quick call confirmed that they'd shut down for the day, but no one had called to let Michael know. "Um. Do you really need help, or are you just being nice and throwing some of the work my way? Just wondering." "Well, it's a pretty big job and would take me the better part of two days to do it. Maybe even three. With two people it cuts it down to way less than half by reason of double the number of hands, and not having to run back and forth to both ends of the wiring. Plus, you can run diagnostics at the same time I am. So, yes, I really could use the help. I'll split this one 60/40 with you after materials. How's that sound?" "Cool! How much is the job?" "$7500 total. But a plus is that I have some of the hardware and wiring already as leftovers from other jobs, so less to buy," and he smiled. "Net?" Trevor asked. "Probably around $6000." "WHAT!? Are you serious??? That's $2400 for me! How long will it take?" "If we start as soon as it cools off today, we'll get done by early a.m. It's about a twelve hour job." Trevor looked at his watch. "Ok, that gives me a couple hours. I need to finish a speech, and knock out some of my English Lit homework. Let me know when you want to start loading stuff," he said getting up from the table. "Thanks Michael, mom, dad." He kissed his mom and dad and headed off to his room. There was a brief silence, then mom spoke. "Thank you Michael," and dad nodded too. "But on this job, isn't $200 an hour a bit much?" Michael smiled a disarming smile, "Nope, not at all. This type of job turns out to be very profitable, especially if both techs are rapid-fire, know every part of the job inside and out, and know how the other guy works." "Is Trevor really that good Michael? I mean, it's obvious that you think a lot of him and......" It was pretty clear where he was going with the conversation. "Sir, there are reliable techs, good people who've been in the business for y-e-a-r-s, that I wouldn't ask to help me on this job. Everyone has their own way of thinking, going from step one to step two, and even what steps come where. Many of the things that Trevor can do are very much the specialty type of jobs that I do exclusively. He not only knows how I do them, but I know how he does them, too. On top of that, he's very bright and can figure his way around and through new problems extremely rapidly. He's one of the best computer techs around. He could hang up a shingle now and be in a lucrative business probably forever." That raised his dad's eyebrows. "Really?" "Completely. And then there's this. Would I rather work for 12 hours and make $3600, or work for 3 days and make $6000? And before I answer that I have to look at the speed of delivery to the customer, what the extra free time saved allows me to do, and in this case, who I paid for the help." "Smart. Very smart," dad commented. Mom smiled. She really did admire Michael's easy demeanor, in business, conversation, and - although she couldn't say it out loud - with her son. It's no wonder Trevor liked Michael to the degree he did. And visa versa. In a perfect world, one could say that it looked like everything was going well, no hitches. Understanding and acceptance seemed to be spreading. In a perfect world....
