We visited one of the local peach orchards there and bought two bushels of peaches. As I sat there peeling peaches, I rethought my decision to buy two bushes a number of times. I love to smell fresh peaches, but I really do not care for the yuck that I have to deal with from peeling over-ripe peaches. You might think, well save some for tomorrow, but with over-ripe peaches you can't wait another day as they go bad quickly. Okay, so back to the story. Dad joined me and we peeled peaches until Ryan came home. We stopped to spend some time with him and to hear about his trip to Wild Adventures. After we were caught up, I went to the kitchen and prepared a fresh peach cobbler. I placed it in the oven and resumed peeling more peaches. I sliced some and left some of the smaller firmer not so ripe ones for tomorrow as I wanted to try my hand at making pickled peaches. I finally finished peeling the larger riper peaches, washed my hands, sugared down the sliced peaches, and started them cooking on the stove so that I could bag them for the freezer later. The peaches cooked for a while and after they came to a slight boil, I turned them off and removed them from the heat source to cool. About that time, Phil came through the door and smiled when he smelled the peach cobbler and its smell of cinnamon in the air. He asked where the boys were, and I told him that they were over at Jay's. He asked me to call them as he was ready to go fishing. I called Meredith, while Phil changed into a pair of shorts and old shirt to go fishing. I called Dad, told him that Phil was home and was ready to go fishing. I suggested that he might want to change clothes, and he did. The boys came charging in the house with Ryan and Myles heading to Phil to give him a hug and a "Thank you" for arranging the fishing trip. Phil took the boys in his truck while Dad and I followed in the Denali. Phil knew exactly where we were going, but I didn't and I thought we would never get there. Finally, we arrived at a gate. Phil got out, put in the combination, opened the gate, drove through, motioned for me to drive through, closed the gate, locked it, got back in his truck, and we followed a rutted road to a large pond. The pond had several weeping willows on its edge and it also had a few old oak trees nearby. It was a picturesque scene. Everybody got out and claimed their area around the pond. Phil and Dad took a spot near each other while I moved around so that I could be about halfway between the boys, just in case. Phil split the worms and crickets between all of us that he had bought on his way home. Rob was not crazy about the idea of using crickets, but after he caught his first fish, that was not a problem anymore. Ryan caught the first fish and then, everybody started pulling in fish. We finally decided to call it quits around dark. We loaded up the cooler that was filled with bass and trout and headed home. When we got home, Dad took the boys out back and they began to gut and cut the fish up for frying while I called in an order for pizza. After I placed the order, I headed to my room and took a shower. As I was dressing, I heard the doorbell ring and then, I heard Phil answer it. He paid for the pizza, and I heard him talking to the delivery guy. In a few minutes, I heard the front door close. I walked into the kitchen as Phil walked in and placed the pizzas on the counter. He said "Doug, I think I really shocked the delivery guy, I think he was looking for you, but when I opened the door, he almost dropped the pizzas and finally stuttered out that the pizzas were here. I asked if he caught the guy's name, and he said yeah "Dakota." I just stood there, and then, I said "That was one of the Posse." Phil said "Well, he is a hunk. I am surprised that you are not chasing him, rather than him chasing you." I could not believe Phil's attitude. I walked to the porch and told Dad and the boys that the pizza had arrived. Dad said "Now that was good timing. We have just finished with the fish, and I buried the remains in one of the flower beds while the boys rinsed off in the backyard. Dad said that he would be in shortly as he had to wash up before he came inside. I walked back into the house, pulled several large bottles of Coca-Cola from the pantry, filled the large Solo cups with ice, poured the Coca-Cola in them, and had them ready for the boys. Everybody grabbed a plate, put a couple of slices of pizza on it, grabbed a drink and stood around the counter. In a few minutes, the pizzas were history, and I swear they boys were looking at me for something else to eat. I held my hands up and said "That's all I have, honest!" Ryan said "But you can cook!" I said "Not tonight. I am tired from fishing." In a few minutes Rob, Jay, and Myles went home and Ryan, Dad, Phil and I sat in the family room and talked. Ryan shared some pictures from Wild Adventures with us, and we listened to more of his stories of everything that he saw and got to do. Finally, he slowed down, and I called it a night. Everybody headed to their rooms. Phil and I lay down on our bed without pulling the comforter and sheets down. I got up, turned off the lights and lay back just like I was before I got up. Phil said "Doug, so how were things with you and your Dad today?" I lay there and finally, I said "They were good, I wanted to ask questions, but he told me that he was not going to reveal much more than he had already said. I guess I just want to know who." Phil said "It might be a good thing that you don't know." I said "Maybe, but I am curious." Phil said "Doug, your Dad took a big chance last night when he opened up to the both of us. I don't want you to alienate or judge him wrongly because you are really striving to have a stronger and more meaningful relationship with him. I said "You are right. I can tell you that I would never have guessed that my Dad would do the things that he described. I always thought that he and mom shared the same religious views, but like I have witnessed before, what I think and what it is are two different things. I talked to him throughout the day and included him in everything that I did. I guess you could say I was shocked beyond words when he made his revelations last night." Phil said "Doug, it was not easy for him, but he did it to make you feel better and for us to feel comfortable around him. Do not waste any time, go to him tomorrow and tell him how proud you are that he shared that part of his life with you and that you accept him unconditionally." We talked about other stuff and finally, Phil said "I am ready to call it a night." He rolled off the bed, stood up, pulled the covers back, stripped to his boxer briefs and got in on his side of the bed. Being that I was left lying there, I did the same thing. I pulled Phil to me and soon his rhythmic breathing lulled me to sleep. I woke up early the next morning and slipped into the shower while Phil was still asleep. I finished my morning rituals, dressed for the day and headed to the kitchen. I was intent on cooking a big breakfast of bacon, scrambled eggs, hash-browns, and fresh biscuits. I knew Dad would be up shortly to make his coffee, so I worked as diligently as I could to get most of the things underway before he was underfoot. I had mixed the dough for the biscuits and had patted them out on the griddle, had the grits cooking and the hash-browns and eggs ready to go into the skillet when Dad arrived. He asked me why I was up so early, and I told him that I was planning a big breakfast as I would not have much of a lunch since we were going to have the fish fry later in the afternoon. He smiled and said "You always have an answer don't you?" I smiled and said "Of course." I placed the biscuits in the oven. In a few minutes, Phil walked into the family room dressed for his day's work. He sat down and listened to the news and said "It is going to be a hot one today. I hope the guys on the crew are ready for it." He then looked over at me and asked if I could go buy 5 igloo water coolers and bring them to him later in the morning after I had rinsed them out and filled them with ice and a little water. I told him that I could and looked over at Dad and said "You got that?" He smiled and nodded his head. I began to work with the hash-browns and then the scrambled eggs. I took the biscuits out of the oven, placed them on a plate, and took several different types of jelly out of the refrigerator. As I was starting to cook the scrambled eggs, I asked Dad to wake Ryan up, and he did. Soon Ryan was dressed and ready to eat breakfast with the rest of us. Phil finished eating, put his plate in the sink, and started out the door when Ryan stopped him by asking "When were the boys going to get to go to work with him?" Phil looked at me and said "Ryan, I think that as long as your Granddad is here, you need to spend time with him. We will talk about you guys coming to work with me later, but the weather is too hot for you to be out in it for as long as my men have to work. Ryan looked at me, and I said "I agree with Phil." Amazingly nothing else was said. We cleaned the kitchen and as we were doing that, I had Ryan call to check on Myles. He reported back that Michelle had to work the day shift, so Myles would spend the day with us. I told Ryan to tell him to come on down and be prepared to run some errands with us. In a few minutes, Myles showed up and we all loaded into the Denali and headed off to do some shopping. We made our first stop at Wal-Mart and I purchased the five Igloo water coolers that Phil wanted. I looked around and decided to buy a propane gas fish cooker and two gallons of cooking oil. I purchased the items that I needed to finish out the menu for the fish fry which would include: the fish, French fries, onion rings, hushpuppies, baked beans, and Cole slaw. We left the store and headed home. As I put the groceries in the house, I directed Ryan and Myles to rinse out the water coolers and to fill them up halfway with water. After doing that, they loaded them back into the Denali along with one of my coolers, and we set off to find the nearest ice machine. I bought four 20 pound bags of ice. We carefully put it in the water coolers so that the water would be cold for the workers and also so we would have plenty of ice for the drinks at the fish fry. We loaded back up in the Denali and headed to one of Phil's work sites. I drove up, and all of the workers stopped and stared at us. Phil walked over, and I opened the back door of the Denali. Phil pulled one of the water coolers out and motioned for the guys to come on over. As the workers made their way to the Denali, they began to tell me that I was an answer to a prayer. Ryan and Myles stood back and watched the guys as they drank their water. They both walked the work site and looked at what the men had been doing. Phil then took the other four water coolers, loaded them in his truck and said that he would deliver them to the other sites in a few minutes. We loaded back up and headed home. On the way home, Ryan and Myles talked about what they had witnessed and that the work looked really hard. I said "Now, do you understand why Phil has not asked you to go to work with him?" Ryan said "Probably, but we need to earn some money." I said "Ryan, there are a lot of other jobs that you can do to earn money, but if you are intent on working with Phil, I think that would be a good idea as you will learn what hard work is." Dad said "Ryan, you need to listen to your Dad. I think some hard work would be good for you, but we have worked really hard to give you a life where you don't have to work in that environment. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that type of work, and it is honest work. It will build muscles, character and a good work ethic." We drove into the driveway and everybody got out and headed into the house. Ryan called Rob and Jay to come over, and they did. I began to make the Cole slaw so that I could put it in the refrigerator and let the flavors meld together. Dad walked into the kitchen and said "Doug, you know, your mom would have made potato salad for the fish fry." I just looked at him, turned around and checked to see if I had potatoes. I didn't have enough so I sent Ryan with Dad to the grocery store to buy some potatoes while I planned the cooking order. Dad and Ryan returned with the potatoes, and I began to peel and cube them up to boil. I began to cook the potatoes and while they were cooking, I boiled four eggs, located the mayonnaise, the mustard, the sweet pickle cubes, and the paprika. After the potatoes were cooked, I drained them and let them cool. I diced the eggs, and mixed them with the mayonnaise, mustard, and sweet pickle cubes. I then added that mixture to the potatoes and sprinkled some paprika on the top of the salad to be festive. I placed the salad in the refrigerator. I turned around and walked outside to see what the boys were doing, and they were not in the backyard, they weren't in the family room, they weren't in the garage, so where were they? I walked down to Ryan's room, and they were sitting around the room talking about Phil and his work. I heard Ryan say, "They have to work outside in the heat, and they sweat and they smell awful." I had to smile, and I headed back to the family room knowing that this work experience was not going to happen. Dad came in from the backyard and sat down with me. I asked him what he had been doing, and he told me that he had been out looking at Phil's work with the waterfall. He said that he thought he would like to put one in at his house. I smiled and said "It is unique and so nice to listen to late at night." He shook his head in agreement. In a few minutes the boys joined us and they were excited about the fish fry and wanted to know if I was going to cook all of the fish. I told them that I was, being that we would be feeding around twelve to fifteen people. I kicked back and began to watch a movie. The boys joined me all clustered around my feet. Dad looked over at me and smiled. I have always enjoyed having them around me and today was no exception. As we watched the movie there was ongoing dialogue about the events in the movie and guesses as to what was going to happen next. I had to chuckle several times because the astute predictors turned out to be oh so wrong. Around four thirty, I got up and began to mix the batter for the onion rings, the batter for the hushpuppies and began to prepare the baked beans. In the meantime, Dad and Ryan brought the fish cooker from the garage and set it up in the backyard and filled it with the cooking oil. Dad lit the burner and let the cooking oil get hot. I set up a small table near the cooker so that I could place the to be cooked food there, and Dad could also place the cooked food there for me to pick up and take back inside. I carried the hushpuppy mix out around five fifteen and Dad began to cook them. After he finished with the hushpuppies, I took them in and placed them in the warm oven. I carried the fish to Dad and he began to cook them just as the other guests began to arrive. Meredith and Michelle began to set the stuff from the refrigerator out on the counter as well as the plastic plates, knives, forks, spoons, and cups. I stirred the baked beans to make sure that they were not sticking to the skillet and sent Christina out to bring in the fish that Dad had cooked. She placed them in the warm oven and took the onion rings batter and onion rings to Dad. She helped Dad batter and drop them into the hot grease. She brought those in, placed them in the oven and took the frozen French fries out to be cooked. As she was bringing the cooked fries in, Phil entered and everyone congratulated him on being on time. He walked on through the house, showered and redressed to be with us. In the meantime, we began to fix our plates and move around the house and yard to find a place to eat. Phil joined us in a few minutes. It was a good thing that we had caught a good mess of fish as everybody truly enjoyed them along with the other foods. After everyone finished eating, there was very little left over. We cleaned the kitchen and sat around the family room talking about life in general and Ryan's upcoming birthday party. Meredith, Christina, and Michelle volunteered to help with the set-up and clean-up. I graciously accepted their help as I had a few other things that I felt I need to attend to that day. Around nine thirty, everyone had left the house leaving Ryan, Dad, Phil and me alone. Ryan said "I don't know about you guys, but I am going for a swim before I go to bed" and he walked out and jumped into the pool. Dad looked at me and said "That sounds like a good idea" and he joined Ryan in the pool. Phil and I sat there and looked at one another for a few minutes. I got up and said "I need to go get them towels because they will need them in a few minutes." I walked to the laundry room and grabbed several towels that I had washed, dried, and folded. I walked through the family room and out to the pool. I stopped dead in my tracks as there were all of Ryan's and Dad's clothes on one of the chaise lounges. I looked at them as they were having a water war. They stopped and Dad said "It's just us Doug, you and Phil should join us." I walked back to the family room and told Phil about the invitation. He asked me what I was going to do. I said "Phil, I don't want to make a big issue out of this, but I think I am going to join them. What about you?" Phil paused, looked at the floor and then at me and said "I will get in the pool with you guys, but I am not comfortable being naked with your Dad." I decided to not push the issue, so I said "If that is what you want, I am okay with it. Let's go spend some quality time with them. Phil said "Let me grab my phone, I want some pictures of the water wars." Phil grabbed his phone, walked out to the pool with me, and pulled off his shorts, shoes, and shirt while I stripped completely. I jumped in while Phil chose to wade in using the steps. Dad greeted Phil with a blast of water to the chest and face when Phil stopped wading into the deeper section. Phil yelled, and the war was on. It was Dad and Ryan against Phil and me. We played in the pool for a long time and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Finally, Phil decided that he needed to call it a night as he had an early morning. He got out of the pool, dried off, took a few pictures of us still in the pool and then sat down on one of the chaise lounges. I began to make my way out of the pool when both Dad and Ryan decided to join me. Phil sat down and watched us as we walked out of the pool and began to dry off. After a while he said "It is most interesting to see three generations of the Brunson men naked. You can definitely see that you guys are related." I looked at him, and he said "I am not joking, every one of you have distinct similarities, but the only way for you guys to see it is for me to take a picture." I looked at Phil and said "Naked?" He said "How else will you see what I see?" I looked over at Dad and he shrugged his shoulders. Phil had us move over against the solid wall with all of us standing in age order from left to right. I felt my cock began to fill out and I wanted to cover it. I moved my hand and Phil said "No!" I withdrew my hand and it continued to puff up. I looked over at Dad and then over at Ryan. They too were filling out, so I didn't feel too bad. Phil called for all of us to look at him. We did, and he took the picture. He then showed us the picture and there we were, naked with our cocks fluffed up, not totally hard, but filling out. I told Phil that he needed to delete that as we had seen ourselves, but he said "No, not until I print it out to show you what I saw." I said "Phil, we saw what you saw." He said "No, you didn't." Ryan said "Whatever, I am headed to bed as he wrapped his towel around him and left the pool area." Dad and I wrapped our towels around us, and decided that it was time to head into the house. All of us walked into the house, and I closed and locked the glass doors. Dad said "I am going to my room and I will see you two in the morning." Phil said "Doug, doesn't your printer have a slot for a SD card?" I said "Yes." He headed to my office, and I followed. He took the card out of his phone, placed it in my small transfer card, and inserted it into the card slot on my computer. He started the transfer of pictures from the card to the computer. I stood there and watched the transfer. In a few minutes, the transfer was complete. Phil brought up the picture that he had just taken of the three Brunson men. He cropped the picture, enlarged it, and printed it. He said "Let's go to our room." I saved the pictures to Phil's folder, turned out the desk lamp, and followed Phil to our room. We walked in; I dropped my towel, while Phil dropped his boxer briefs. We crawled into the bed and turned on both lamps. Phil began to examine the picture very carefully and in a few minutes he was showing me what he saw as similarities that we three had. He pointed out that our chest hair growth pattern was very similar, that our pubes were thick, we had good sized balls, and our cocks seemed to have a thick ridge around the helmet. I looked at our cocks, and I could see some similarities. I looked at my Dad's chest and was amazed to see that his nipples did not sag, but were prominent and solid. I hoped that when I was his age, that I too would be that fit. I tried not to look so much at the picture as I didn't want to be accused of perving on my Dad's jewels. I decided I could do that when I had some private time. I handed the picture back to Phil, leaned over and turned out the lamp on my side of the bed. Phil laid the picture on his nightstand, turned out his lamp, and spooned me. He let his hand glide over my chest and down to my cock. He found a drop of precum on my cock and he began to rub it over my cock's head. He did it very slowly and made sure that he was attending to all of the sensitive parts. I turned back over and kissed Phil. I rolled him over on his back and began to grind our cocks together. I could feel both of our cocks stiffen, and I decided that it was time for me to even the score. I opened the drawer of the nightstand and grabbed the lube. I dripped it on my cock and on Phil's taint. I smeared my cock in the lube on his taint and began to poke Phil's hole. He relaxed, and I entered him. I did not go balls deep, but I did see-saw in and out of him so that only half of my cock was in him at the most. I continued this motion and then, I slid all the way in making sure that I rubbed his prostate. He moaned and grabbed me. I began to speed up my thrusts into him. He raised his head and tried to kiss me. He moved from my lips to my neck and began to bite my neck. This sent waves and instructions to my cock. I pounded him unmercifully. I felt him stiffen, and he began to shoot cum on his chest as I pounded him. His hole clamped around my cock and in a few minutes, I began to unload in him. As I finished cumming, I dropped onto his chest. His cum acted as cement between us and when I moved it began to pull my chest hair. I got up, went to the bathroom, washed my chest, took a damp cloth, and cleaned Phil's chest. We turned out the lamps, moved so that our backs were to each other, and went to sleep. I awoke the next morning to Phil sucking my cock. Let me tell you that is a nice way to wake up. I tried to move so that I could service him too, but he told me that he wanted to do this with no reciprocation. I lay there and enjoyed his effort. Phil used his hand, mouth, lips, tongue, and throat to bring me off. I could feel my balls twitch, and I knew that the river of cum was about to head out as an explosion. I tried to push Phil off as I knew this was going to be a large shot, but he would not move and pushed my hands away. I tried one more time, and he grabbed and squeezed my balls. I took that to really mean that he knew what he was doing and that he wanted my load. I began to unload in his mouth and almost sat up when my cock became super sensitive. I finally pushed Phil off, and he rolled on his back, looked over at me and said "I guess you now know that I have not forgotten how to suck and that I am pretty good at it." I looked at him and said "Who said you weren't?" He just smiled and gave me that grin of his. I got up and headed to the kitchen. My shower could wait until after Phil left. I began to pull stuff together for breakfast. This morning, we would have egg and cheese sandwiches on English muffins with apple turnovers. I finished breakfast as Dad and Phil entered the kitchen. Dad proceeded to make his coffee while Phil poured me, Ryan and himself a glass of orange juice. I asked Dad to let Ryan know that we were eating, and he walked down to Ryan's room and knocked on the door. Ryan slowly joined us, but complained about the early summer wake- up calls. Phil reminded him that if they came to work for him then, he would be up early every morning, ready to eat and leave for a job site. Ryan looked at me, then at Phil and said "Phil, we appreciate your willingness to give us an opportunity to work this summer, but we kinda decided that since this is our last summer and we have other things planned that we would not do that this year. I smiled and looked at Phil. Phil winked and that was the end of that. Phil left for work. I put Ryan to work cleaning around the pool and the backyard while Dad and I emptied and reorganized the pantry and cabinets. We all finished about the same time with Ryan coming into the kitchen thirsty and of course, hungry. I opened a pack of graham crackers and we all took a few along with a large glass of homemade lemonade. We stood at the counter, ate and talked. Dad asked Ryan what he wanted for his birthday and Ryan rattled off a few things. I listened, but was working on clearing and cleaning the refrigerator / freezer. I heard Ryan say that he wanted his Granddad to stay for his birthday, and I heard Dad say that he would. I smiled. After Ryan finished with his cookies and lemonade, he asked if he could go to Jay's. I told him that he could, but to be back by lunch as we were going to have sandwiches. He wrinkled up his nose, but didn't say anything. Dad and I sat down and talked in the family room. I moved the subject to his disclose and told him that there were a few things that I needed to say. He told me that we really needed to leave that topic where it was the other night, but I explained to him that I needed closure, so I began by thanking him for being so understanding and supportive of me and Phil. My eyes teared up as I spoke because this was a relief for me and a confirmation that Dad and I were becoming close. I thanked him for talking about his personal personal life which made me feel that he truly understood where I was coming from when I chose to be with Phil. I talked to him about my marriage telling him that I had truly loved Allison, but when she left, I built walls and focused on Ryan. I told him that I had decided that I could be self-sustaining, and I thought I was doing a great job, but as Ryan grew up, I knew that he would soon be leaving the house, and I would be by myself. I said that I had thought about dating another woman, but after the break-up of my marriage, I just felt that I couldn't trust anyone with my heart, my home, or my son. I told Dad that I did not go looking for Phil, but that he showed up at my door. I asked him "Who am I to turn away someone who has made my life complete, who loves me, who compliments me, and who completes my wants and desires?" Dad smiled and nodded his head. He said "Doug, I felt that you had found someone special. I knew that when we talked on the mountain and it was confirmed the first night that I saw you and Phil together. There is a definite positive relationship there, and I am happy for you." We continued to talk along these lines and then, we heard the front door open and close. Ryan entered and said "Okay, I am back for lunch." I got up and walked into the kitchen and began to pull the makings for sandwiches out of the refrigerator and pantry. Each of us fixed ourselves a roast beef sandwich with the condiments and fresh tomatoes. Ryan said that the boys would like to go to a movie that afternoon. I told him that I couldn't take them, but that I could pick them up so he called Jay to find out if Meredith could take them. He then told me that she could, so I reemphasized that I would pick them up. He changed clothes as the theater could be freezing at times and left for Jay's house. Dad and I ran a few errands to pick up the supplies that I would need for Ryan's birthday party. We finished our run, returned home and stored our purchases. Dad asked if Phil was going to do anything to the backyard before the party and I asked like what? He said, "It would be nice to have a few more blooming plants and maybe one or two that have a great fragrance." I walked outside and looked. The flowers that the workers had planted prior to Dad's arrival were beginning to fade, so I called and talked to Phil. He said that he would take care of it, so I marked that off my worry list. I glanced at my phone and saw that it was time to go pick the boys up. Dad and I rode to get them from the mall theater. On the way home, I had this sudden urge for ice cream, so I drove to one of the strip malls and parked. I didn't say why we had stopped, but we got out and started walking down the sidewalk. As we approached the Marble Slab Creamery, Ryan turned around and said "Great choice Dad!" We went in, looked at the offerings and made our choices. We ate our ice cream sitting in the lobby as I listened to the reviews of the movie and heard some of the latest teen gossip. We finished and headed back to the car. Dad and I hung back a little and he said "Doug, you have turned out to be one great Dad and the boys confirm that. Ryan is mannerly and he loves you and knows that you love him. I am so proud of what you have become." I felt my heart swell as my Dad was doing something that he had never done a lot of before - recognizing my strengths, and my love for my child. We got in and headed home. As I pulled into the garage, the boys were opening the doors and heading to Rob's house. Dad and I went inside and I began to cook our evening meal while he did some of his laundry. I really cheated as I prepared some frozen ravioli with a commercial vodka sauce, made a salad, and buttered some French bread and wrapped it in aluminum foil. As I was finishing, Phil walked into the house. I looked at him, and he was covered in sweat and dust. He spoke to me and Dad and then, headed to the shower. I called Ryan and told him to head home. Phil completed his shower, dressed and joined us in the kitchen. Ryan walked in the front door and I placed the bread in the oven to warm. Phil grabbed the plates and flatware, placed them on the counter, while I iced the glasses and poured the tea. As soon as the bread had warmed, I took it out of the oven, placed it on the counter along with the ravioli and sauce, along with the salad and several dressings. We sat down and had a great dinner. After we finished eating, Ryan asked if he could return to Rob's, and I told him that he could. He placed his plate and glass in the sink and headed out the front door leaving Phil, Dad, and me at the counter eating and talking. Dad and Phil discussed the backyard while I listened. Dad made a few suggestions, and Phil either agreed or talked him into something else. It was fun to listen to them interact. I got up, took everyone's plates, rinsed them off, placed them in the dishwasher, stored the leftovers, and washed the pots and empty serving dishes. I joined Dad and Phil in the living room. Phil brought out one of the blueprint layouts for the development that he was his pride and joy. He talked to both of us about it, and you could just sense his pride and excitement for this project. The phone rang, and I had to take a call from Rosie about Ryan's party. I left Dad and Phil talking about the plans. I took care of the business at hand and returned. I was on my way back to the family room when I heard "Well, Da................d," and then, there was silence. I hurried on in to find Phil's head bowed, and he was shaking it. Dad looked at me as I approached Phil. I grabbed him and hugged him. He hugged me back saying "Oh how I miss him, I would have loved for him to see what I am doing and how great it is going to be." I reassured him that his Dad would be proud of him and his work. He looked over at Dad and said "I am so sorry, I know you think I am crazy, but our talk just felt like something my Dad and I would have done. I am so sorry that I have ruined your evening." Dad said "Phil, you have not ruined my evening, I totally understand that as I experienced something similar after I lost my dad, but you gave me comfort tonight knowing that you feel like part of this family and for that I am eternally happy and content." Phil thanked Dad for understanding, wiped his eyes and tried to resume his talk with Dad while I worked on the to-do list for Saturday. We watched some TV program until Ryan came home. He joined us for a while and then, we all went to bed. Phil and I lay there and talked. Neither one of us felt the need to be intimate so after the lights were turned out, we just relaxed and let sleep take its natural course. I woke up Friday morning with a lot on my mind. I prepared a quick breakfast and everyone either helped or stayed out of the way. Soon, Phil was out the door, Dad was reading the paper, and Ryan was cleaning his bedroom. I finished the cleaning the kitchen and asked Dad if he could help me move some furniture around for the party set-up. He was more than happy to help. We soon had the furniture moved, tables in place, and the grill cleaned. Dad noticed that we needed some propane, so I added that to our to-do list. We finished our tasks around lunch time. Ryan wanted the leftovers from last night, so I warmed them up and he ate. He left to go to Jay's house after eating, leaving Dad and me alone. I looked over at Dad and asked him if he would grab the propane tank from the grill, place it in the plastic crate in the garage, and load it into the Denali while I grabbed some stuff from my room. I met Dad in the garage, and we were soon off to find us something to eat and to take care of our errands. I remembered a little café that one of my co-workers talked about from time to time so I opted to stop there, as it was on the way. We went in and were seated. Our waitress was an older lady, and she was very friendly and motherly. She took our drink orders after talking to us about the lunch specials. You could tell, as she talked, that she was somebody's mother and grandmother. She was soft spoken and assured of what she was telling us about the food. We listened to her, and I asked her if we could have a few minutes to think it over. She said "Son, I would not have it any other way." She walked away to get our drinks. Dad said "She reminds me so much of my Mom. Even though she mentioned several things, she basically told you what you needed to get." I smiled and said "Yeah, I got that feeling too, but she probably knows everything about this place." She returned with our drinks and took our order. Both of us chose the recommended fried chicken, field peas, cream style corn and a yeast roll. As we were waiting for our food to return, Dad said "Doug, I am so thankful that we have had this time together as I feel it has brought us closer. I am sure that your Mother will sense a change when we are all together, but so be it." I smiled and said "I agree Dad." Our food arrived and the waitress placed it in front of us. We began to eat and in a few minutes she returned to see how we liked it and if there was anything else that she could do for us. We told her that the food was excellent and thanked her for her recommendations. She patted me on the shoulder and said "Son, I know my food, and I only recommend what I feel is good and fresh." She went on to say that the corn was grown in her husband's fields, and the peas came from a local farm. As she was talking with us, another group walked through the door, and she had to seat them and take their orders, but she encouraged us to come back on another day. I promised that we would. We finished eating and Dad paid for our lunch. We returned to the Denali and ran our errands. We returned home and there was no sign of the boys. I drove into the garage and let the garage door down. I sent Dad in to see if the boys were in the house. He returned shortly and said that the coast was clear. We hurriedly grabbed our purchases and hid them in my bedroom. We had no sooner finished storing them than my phone began to ring. It was Ryan, and he wanted to let me know that he and the others were heading to the park. I thanked him for letting me know and hung up. Dad and I returned to my room, grabbed a few of our purchases, and took them to the living room. Now my Dad is an excellent gift wrapper as everything has to line up and the paper is cut to the appropriate size. In fact, both of my parents are good at wrapping gifts. Mom is more creative, but Dad's look so professional. Well, how did I get off topic? Anyways, we wrapped gifts and returned them to my closet. Later in the afternoon, Phil returned home and took his shower. I walked down to the bedroom while he was showering and waited for him to come back into the bedroom. He eventually returned and found me sitting on the bed. He walked over to me, and I undid his towel, lifted his cock up, began to lick it, and play with his balls. He said "Why don't I get this treatment every afternoon?" I didn't respond as I put his cock in my mouth and began to slide it in and out of my mouth. As I sucked Phil, I let my hand slide between his legs and I moved towards his hole. I let my middle finger invaded his most private part. I did an in and out movement with my finger and finally, I slipped all the way in and stroked his prostate. He stiffened, grabbed my head and began to pound my face. I felt his cock twitch and knew that he was about to come, so I prepared myself for his load. He shot five heavy loads before he began to pull out. As he pulled out, I licked his cock's head to get all of his cum. He stopped me in a few minutes as he was ultra sensitive. He stood there while I played with his balls and let my fingers comb thorough his short pubic hair. In a few minutes, he turned and returned to the bathroom where he performed a quick wash of his crotch area. He walked back into the bedroom and began to dress for the evening. I got up, walked to the bathroom, brushed my teeth, combed my hair and adjusted my clothing. We walked back into the family room to find that Dad was not around. I called him and in a few minutes he joined us as he had been in his room. I told him that we were going to go out for dinner. At first, he thought I meant just me and Phil. I clarified that it would be Ryan, Phil, him, and me. He smiled, and I knew that he was a happy camper. I called Ryan and told him to come home. He tried to get me to give him thirty more minutes, but I insisted. He knew that if I insisted that it must be important. He appeared in a few minutes, and he was sweaty and dirty. I told him that we were going out to eat so he needed to shower and redress. He turned and headed to the bathroom with a dejected look on his face. I looked at Phil and said "I need to follow up with him." I walked down to Ryan's bathroom and opened the door as he was showering. I sat on the toilet and asked him what was wrong. He told me that he was having a lot of fun with the regular guys and a totally new group. He said "Dad, it was nice to have other kids our age to play with even though the four of us are close and always hang together; it was just nice to hear how other kids think and talk." I said "Ryan, I understand, but tomorrow is your birthday and your grandfather will go home Sunday, so I really wanted you to go to dinner. You can hang with those boys on another afternoon." He grabbed his towel from over the shower door and began to dry off. I was still talking to him when he opened the shower door and stepped out. I took a quick glance at his jewels, and as we had noted in the picture the other night, his cock and my cock were definitely duplicates. I got up, walked out, and he walked over to his room. He closed the door and then, he opened it. He asked me what should he wear, and I told him a nice pair of shorts, a Polo, and his deck shoes. I walked back to the family room and joined Phil and Dad. Ryan joined us in a few minutes. I had to smile as he was wearing too much cologne. I said "Son, just a little cologne goes a long way." He turned red, and I said "Ryan, it's a learning curve; we all have done the same thing." He seemed somewhat relieved that I didn't make fun of him. We walked out to the Denali, and I drove to Longhorns' Steak House. We got out and walked inside. We had to wait about 30 minutes before we were seated, so we sat in the waiting area and played with our phones or talked. We were called and seated. Our waiter arrived and introduced himself. He looked at me and said "Don't I know you?" I looked up at him and before I could respond, he said "Yeah, I do, you are Mr. Brunson and you teach science." I smiled and told him that he was right. He introduced himself as Dalton Rooks. He told me that he would be a senior and he had signed up for two science classes hoping that he would get me. I asked him what his interests were and what career was he preparing and hoping to enter. He said that he wanted to explore the field of agricultural and horticultural sciences with a specialization in the relation of pesticides to the overall health conditions of the people in Southern and Central Georgia. I was impressed and told him that I hoped that he would be in my class. He took our drink orders and left. Phil looked over at Dad and said "I can't take him anywhere that he is not recognized." Dad smiled at me and said "That's my boy! He has always been that way, never meets a stranger and leaves knowing whoever he meets as if he had known them for his entire life." Dalton returned and took our orders. Ryan ordered a rib-eye while Dad ordered a New York Strip. Phil and I decided to order each of us a T-bone. We all ordered a house salad and a baked potato. Dalton left, and as he did, I watched him walk away. Phil punched me in the leg, and I turned to look at him. He shook his head, and I turned red. In a few minutes, Dalton returned with our salads and some bread. We munched on our salads and devoured the bread while we listened to Ryan talk about the new friends that he had made at the park. We finished our salads and about that time, our steaks arrived. Dalton asked us to cut into each one to see if it was cooked to our satisfaction. Everybody reported that they were perfect. Dalton smiled and said that he would be back in a few minutes with some more bread and to refill our glasses. He was a man of his word as he kept a close eye on our table and our glasses were never empty. This young man knows how to have satisfied customers. We finished our meal and Dalton returned with our check. Phil pulled out his card and paid the bill. I started to protest, but he said that this was his night to do this, so I didn't argue. We drove over to the Mall and got out. Ryan looked at me with questionable eyes. I smiled, and we walked into the mall. We walked to the movie theater and bought tickets for Jurassic World. We then walked to the theater where Jurassic World was being shown, entered and waited for the movie to begin. Ryan wanted to know whose idea this was. Phil said that it was his, and Ryan thanked him profusely for his choice. We watched the movie, and did not buy any popcorn or drinks. After the movie was over, we left and headed home. I drove to Dunkin Donuts, and we each ordered what we wanted. Dad ordered a blueberry donut, Phil ordered a plain donut, Ryan ordered a chocolate ice cream and I ordered a strawberry cone. We sat and ate our choices while we discussed the movie. We finished our items and headed home. We entered the house and everyone headed to their bedrooms. Phil and I walked down to our room and he asked me about the presents in the closet. I told him what some of them were, and he said that he thought I had made good choices. He then told me that he had bought Ryan a present, but had it locked up in his truck. I asked if I needed to help him wrap it, but he smiled and said "Doug, I had it wrapped at the store because I know how curious you are and I want this to be a surprise for all." I tried to get him to tell me what he had bought Ryan, but he never would. Phil closed our door, and we stripped down. We got into bed and lay down. In a few minutes, I knew that Phil had fallen asleep, and I joined him shortly thereafter. Saturday morning arrived and after our showers and breakfast, we began to do a final clean of the house and set-up for the birthday party. Phil took care of the backyard; Ryan cleaned the pool and the surrounding area while Dad and I cleaned the house and made final moves of the furniture. We finished late morning and took a break. I resumed my preparations as I had to mix the hamburger patties and pat them out. That was a fairly fast process, and then, I placed them on a cookie sheet and put them in the freezer. I sent Phil and Ryan to the grocery store to buy fresh hamburger buns or Kaiser Rolls from the bakery and to pick up some fresh tomatoes from the little fruit stand along the highway. I put Dad to work thinly slicing an onion. Phil and Ryan returned and I asked Dad to slice the tomatoes too. I put the rolls/buns on the counter along with the condiments. Phil and I took our showers and dressed for the party as Rosie was due in about forty minutes to deliver the cake and the churns of ice cream then Michelle, Meredith and Christina would be arriving to help with last minute set-up and kitchen duty. After Phil and I were showered, Ryan and Dad took theirs and joined us in the family room. The door bell rang and it was Rosie. Dad and Phil helped her bring in the churns of ice cream while I made a place for the cake which she had carried into the kitchen. Rosie instructed us on how to keep the ice cream frozen, and I assigned that task to Dad. Rosie left and in about fifteen minutes the Moms arrived. I talked with them about the flow of the party, and they thought that everything was covered. The doorbell sounded again, and it was our first guest. Ryan took the young man to the restroom so that he could change into his swimsuit. Ryan then walked him to the pool area and they both jumped into the water. The doorbell began to ring more frequently so Michelle took over the task of greeting the guests, and if they were not wearing swim attire, she led them to the bathroom, and then, to the pool. I walked out to the pool area and everybody seemed to be having fun. Most of the boys had congregated on one side while the girls were on the other side. In about thirty minutes, Justin and Colt arrived and walked out to the pool then, back into the house and talked to Phil. All of three of them went back to the pool area and began to get the boys and girls divided into teams for several games. After that, the screaming and hollering was on. Around five-thirty, I put the patties on the grill and Michelle began to either bake the French Fries, or fry them as we had to make fast progress. As the patties were finished on the grill, I took them to the kitchen and placed them on the counter. I then called for everyone's attention, and told them how to get their hamburger and fries. The line formed and moved as quickly as the grill could produce the burgers. Knowing that fifteen year olds, or near fifteen year olds can eat, I made a number of extra patties which I cooked and they ate. After everyone had finished eating, it was time for the opening of the gifts. Ryan enjoyed that part of the party, and he received some very nice gifts. Dad went to the garage and brought in his gift to Ryan. Ryan looked up, then back to what was in his lap, and then, quickly back to Dad. He yelled and jumped up, hugging Dad and telling him how much he loved it. He then looked over at me and said "This goes to the lake." I nodded and Justin leaned over to me and said "Tell your Dad Thanks a lot", I laughed because I knew this would become a must have between the boys. Michelle called everyone back to the kitchen and served them cake and the ice cream of their choice. Everybody sat around the house, pool, or backyard and ate their cake and ice cream. After that, the guests began to leave as no one wanted to get back in the pool. After everyone left we all collapsed in the family room. Justin asked Ryan if he knew how to use the paddle board. Ryan didn't, but that did not stop him from trying it out in the pool. Justin and Colt watched Ryan and the others try it out, and then Colt said "I agree, that is a must have." We finished the night and everyone returned to their homes leaving just Ryan, Phil, Dad, and me at the house. We sat around, talked and examined the gifts that Ryan had received. He kept thanking his Granddad for the paddle board. Finally, Dad told him that it was from his Grandmother too. Ryan said then that he would call her when she returned home and thank her. Phil asked that we stay in the family room as he had something that he needed to retrieve from his truck. Phil walked out to his truck and returned with his gift for Ryan. He handed it to Ryan, and Ryan opened it. It was a gold bracelet and matching chain. I looked at the gift, and then at Phil. Phil mouthed to me that it was his idea and he wanted to do it. I just shrugged and complimented Phil for picking it out and telling Ryan about how good he would look when he wore it. We went to bed around eleven thirty as we were all ready for a good night's sleep. Before we dropped off to sleep, I thanked Phil for giving Ryan such a nice gift. He said "Doug, I love that boy too, and he seems to love me too, so why shouldn't I give him something nice?" We decided to sleep in Sunday morning because Dad was going home, and we did not have an itinerary. Well, I said we were going to sleep in, but I forgot to tell my brain because I woke up at my usual time ,and as I lay there I felt guilty about wasting that part of the day laying in bed so I got up, showered, dressed and headed to the kitchen. As I left the bedroom, I woke Phil up because there was no way that I was going to let him sleep when I was up and preparing breakfast. As I was walking out the door he threw his pillow at me. I walked on to the kitchen and there was Dad making his pot of coffee. He said "I thought you were going to sleep late." I said "That was the plan, but my body just woke up at the regular time, and I felt guilty laying there so, I decided to come on and start breakfast. So why are you up?" He smiled and said "Doug, after being married to your mom for forty two years it is extremely hard break a habit." I started pulling the stuff out of the refrigerator and pantry that I needed to make the morning's breakfast. I had decided on waffles, hash-browns with onions and cheese, scrambled eggs, link sausage and bacon. I pulled the waffle maker out, plugged it in and let it warm up while I mixed the batter. I asked Dad to split the link sausages and place them in the oven while I fried the bacon. After I finished with the bacon, I started the waffles and then, the scrambled eggs. Phil walked in and gave me a dirty look and said "I truly hope you are happy that I am up!" I said "I am". Dad asked what was going on, and Phil took great pride in detailing the events with some embellishment. I asked Dad to walk down and call Ryan to breakfast. He did, and Ryan joined us and said "I thought we were sleeping in this morning." I said "We were, but I couldn't" and then, Phil said "So the rest of us had to get up too." Ryan gave me a dirty look, but began to eat his breakfast. We finished breakfast, and I placed all of the dirty dishes in the sink because I would take care of them later in the morning. I wanted us to spend more time with Dad, so we sat in the family room and talked. Around ten o'clock Dad said that he had to get on the road. He walked to his room and picked up his luggage. He walked out with it only to have Phil grab it and take it to Dad's car. We all walked Dad out to his car. This is something that I had done many times when he and Mom have visited, or when we would visit them at their house, but for some reason, this time was very emotional for me. Dad hugged Ryan and told him how much he was impressed with his manners, his personality, his friends, and then, he hugged Ryan. He shook Phil's hand and thanked Phil for everything that he had done for him on the trip, for his advice on the plants and statuary, and then he told Phil how glad he was to have him as a part of us. Dad then walked over to me, grabbed me and squeezed me tight. He told me that he was so very proud of me and everything that I stood for, but especially for my love for Ryan and Phil. We both were shedding tears, and then, he kissed me on the top of my head and said that he had to go. He got into his car, waved one more time, backed out and was on his way home. We walked back into the house and sat in the family room. I sat there for a few minutes, then I had to go to my bedroom as I felt very emotional about my Dad for the first time in a very long time. END of CHAPTER 47 - My Son and His Friends I want to say a big "THANK YOU" to the readers who written to me between Chapters 46 and 47 to check on the progress of this chapter. I stopped earlier and thought that I would end the chapter at that point, but I really wanted to see Dad home so that we could move on to other summer events. That explains the length of this chapter. I really do appreciate hearing from the new readers, and I always love to hear from my readers with their comments, suggestions, or questions. I hope that each of you and your families have a Happy Thanksgiving and I look forward to another chapter in a few weeks. Jay
