Aaran was getting so grown up, he looked like me and his mother. Poor Maureen, the news of her death had devastated me. But now, I had something to live for. I was grinning at the smiling face of Aaran, convinced he was smiling back just at me, his dad. I kissed the picture. "Brews up." I glanced up. It was Wiggins back with my cuppa. I smiled. He stopped, his eyes fixed on something. There was a dull thud as the Jerry stick grenade he had been watching so intently landed between us. ********************** Operation Pied Piper – Part 148d – Part 148d minor characters making an appearance or receiving a mention: Professor Harding – (Harding/Cornelius/Con) resident Doctor for Castle Fraser Boys School. Robert had been attending the morning meetings and had made a couple of what sounded like spurious excuses for Dima's non-attendance. This morning he had just shaken his head when I asked if Dima would be joining us. He seemed to be biting his lip, his facial muscles tensing, he looked like he was really struggling with his emotions, which caused me some concern. I would speak to him after. Darius arrived last and took his seat. I still had my eyes on Robert, who was obviously avoiding my stare. I indicated for James to get started. I was determined it was going to be a quick meeting, with only James, Darius, Robert, and myself present. Davy and Chris had headed off to Downe House straight after breakfast. Apparently there was a delegation from the cement and brick works we owned wanting to speak to us and make some kind of presentation to the Boy's Home. So, I was determined to get through the agenda quickly and head over and join them. Thankfully, the couple of items on the agenda were covered quickly. As James and Darius left, I was apprehensive although pleased that Robert seemed to be hovering, waiting for a chance to speak to me alone. I decided to take the initiative. "Robert, how is Dima, really?" That was it, Robert's eyes welled up and his bottom lip trembled, great tears rolled down his cheeks. I stepped towards him and embraced him. He put his head on my shoulder and sobbed, "Forts, I am so worried. He won't get out of bed, he is barely eating and just lies crying and cursing his father." It was as I had feared. I hugged Robert to me and kissed the side of his head. "You know I don't blame him at all, in any shape or form." Robert nodded into my neck, "I have told him that, he just won't listen." "Robert, I will go and speak to him. Do you think he will see me?" * At the meeting with Gethin, Dima had taken the news about his father possibly being in league with the Bolsheviks when he murdered my parents very badly, even though there was no definite proof that he actually was. He had left at the end of the meeting without speaking, seemingly in a state of shock. As he had turned to leave, he faced me, stood to attention, and bowed. It was obvious he was fighting to keep his usual inscrutable Russian emotions under control. His eyes seemed to be pleading with me for forgiveness. He had then left before I could speak to him. At the time, I had found the news from Gethin pretty overwhelming, too. It was not just my father's secret mission and the untold wealth awaiting Davy and me in Switzerland, but worse, finding out that both were the reason for my parents being killed and all the attempts on the lives of Davy and myself since. * Robert sobbed, "Forts, I really don't know... He thinks you must hate him." I hugged Robert again, "Now, that couldn't be further from the truth. I have told him so many times, the son cannot be blamed for the sins of the father." I handed Robert my hankie, and he wiped his eyes. "You must think I am so stupid crying like this." "Robert, don't be daft. There is nothing wrong with showing your emotions when you love someone. Look at Davy and me, always boobing about something." I gave a little chuckle. "Come on, you can let me in." Robert stepped back and blew his nose again. "Would you speak to him alone? I think that might be best. He just keeps getting cross with me." I nodded. "Sure, come on." * Robert unlocked the door to their room and stepped aside. "Tell him I love him..." Robert swallowed, tears again filling his eyes, "He just keeps pushing me away." He turned and hurried off along the corridor. I turned to Darius, "Can you wait outside? Everything should be okay." Darius nodded, and I stepped into their apartment. It was eerily quiet. I called out, "Dima, it's me Forts." nothing. I headed to the door leading to the bedroom and tapped on it lightly. "Dima, it's me Forts. Can I come in?" Again, no response. I turned the doorknob and opened the door slowly and peaked in to the room. The heavy curtains were closed, only the barest amount of light escaped into the room round them. It took a few moments for my eyes to become accustomed to the gloom. "Dima, it's me, Forts." There was a tearful muffled response from the lump on the fourposter bed. "I'm so sorry, please, just go away." I walked towards the bed. "Dima, that's not going to happen. I love and care about you too much, we all do." He muttered, "How can you? My bastard of a father killed your parents and abandoned you to your fate." I kicked off my shoes and climbed onto the bed. "That was your father, not you! And he didn't kill me, did he, he wasn't so evil he could kill a baby. Come on, my friend, we are all so worried about you, and poor Robert is beside himself. He loves you so much." I shuffled over and embraced the sobbing Dima, pulling his body close against mine. "And remember who it was who actually saved me and reunited me with the rest of my relatives. That was you! Without you recognising me, I would have remained plain old Drageon Fortnum." I playfully pushed him. "Maybe I should punch you after all." I chuckled and hugged him tighter. He actually gave a little laugh. I kissed the top of his head. "Dima, I don't blame you for anything. Everything I have is thanks to you. I love you like my brother... I need you with me, by my side, guiding me through this imperial minefield." Dima didn't speak, just lifted his face to look at me. "Do you really mean that? You still want me with you?" I kissed him on the lips, "You know I do and if you don't you should!" He glanced down, his body let out a huge sob, "Thank you," he mumbled. "Forts, I am so sorry." "Dima, please stop it. You have nothing to be sorry about." "Forts, I hate him! I hate my father! Hate him!" I hugged Dima as hard as I could and kissed him again. "It is never good to hate someone Dima, you will only chew yourself up. What is important is that you love me as much as I love you." Dima sniffed. "You know I do." "Forts, what are we going to do? Sergey was right." So there was something else bothering my friend. "Sergey? right about what?" "He said we should both get married." "I am married Dima, to Davy. Can't you see the thumbprint on my forehead? Hang on, you have one too. It looks like Robert has you under the thumb as well." Dima gave a mix of a groan and a chuckle, "No, to women, just like Sergey was going to do, if only for appearances' sake." "Dima no. Please, I had enough of this from Truorwskoy and Gary, please. I am happy as I am. If it is any business of the world, and it isn't, I am a confirmed bachelor. Besides, I could never do that to Davy, any more than you could do it to Robert." Dima looked at me apprehensively, "But doesn't it frighten you? ... What people will say." "Dima, of course I think about it, but," I chuckled, "They had better have good lawyers and bottomless pockets, like us, before they do say anything." Dima leant up and kissed me. "God. I wish I was as strong as you and Davy." I began to tickle him. "What, are you telling me that beneath this crunchy exterior, there is a soft centre?" Dima squirmed and laughed. It was good to see. We ended up smiling at each other, "Dima, please never do this again. Come and speak to me, we can talk about anything, you know that." He smiled as I kissed him again, "Come on, let's get you up and in the shower. You are not looking or smelling very prince like, and you and me are going out riding." ** Olly Van Cusen takes up the story Con was riding my cock hard, really hard, his palms flat on my chest, his thumbs and forefingers squeezing and rolling my now screaming nipples. I lay looking up at him. With my knees raised, he was kind of seated in the crook formed between them and my groin. I thrust up to meet his downward lunges. The audible slap of skin against skin, growing louder and faster, matched both of our grunts of pleasure. We were both getting very close to that moment of no return, indeed I was sure I could feel Con's arse cheeks tensing already. My hand was a blur on his shaft, his balls, which had been bouncing off my knuckles, were now growing tighter to the base of his shaft. He began to gasp, as his orgasm overtook him. He thrust down on me hard, his sphincter grabbed hold of the base of my shaft and squeezed. His balls pulsed, bouncing one last time before gripping his cock root as he began to ejaculate. My poor cock and balls didn't have a chance as the first splatter of his cum landed on my chest. I clamped my eyes shut, straining to delay the inevitable, but my own load had already begun its journey up my throbbing shaft. My toes curled, and I gripped the bedding, thrusting my hips skyward, burying my cock even deeper inside him. Unlike his cum, which following three powerful spurts began to bubble slowly from his cockhead like lava from a volcano, my cum unseen exploded out of my cockhead and coated the inside of his bowels. I groaned, Con leant back, gasping as my cock continued to spasm deep inside him. "Fuck," he gasped, then with a smile, "Now, I will have to watch out, I don't want to have cum running down my leg." We both began to chuckle, our bodies enjoying the shudders from our laughing. Con had told me about the boy having the medical. That had been a first. He still couldn't believe it. Fancy on a school boy medical, finding your young patient had cum running down his thighs. Con even confessed he had tasted the load, lucky devil. I was quite jealous when he told me it belonged to the other Con; Lillis, the Head Boy. He had matured into a good-looking young chap. Con rolled off me and cuddled up. "That was amazing, thank you." I kissed his nose, "Well, it takes two to tango, so thank you, too." He smiled, somehow we connected on a deeper plane, our eyes reaching into each other's very souls. His hand gripped my arm, "You know I love you, don't you? I wanted you to know that." He hesitated, "I loved Chris, but I am over him now... I will always care about him, but it is you I have always loved, all the way back to university." I pulled him closer to me and hugged him. That was just what I wanted to hear. ** Davy picks up the story Chris smiled at me and winked as we arrived on the forecourt of Downe House. He had refused to tell Forts and me anything more, other than some of the locals wanted to make a presentation to the Boys' Home. Sadly, they wanted to meet us very early, hence I was on my own. Forts was taking the morning meeting first, then he was supposed to be joining us here. Immediately in front of us, set up on the forecourt, was a large square structure covered with a tarpaulin. Three men were standing next to it in suits and caps. Nearby a large truck was pulled up, with several other people manhandling crates from the back and stacking them on the ground at the rear, each crate was covered with sacking, so I couldn't see what was inside them. Duke grunted, "Too many people." He immediately turned into one of those fun fair attractions, his head spinning this way and that. "Davy, stand next to me." "Duke it's okay." I saw now it wasn't just me that the recent incident had affected. I tapped my jacket. That brought a wry smile to his face, and he nodded. "Just make sure you miss me, Annie Oakley." I gave him another wink. Bloody Annie Oakley, I wouldn't have minded Buffalo Bill. Chris didn't hear or seemed oblivious to Duke's concern. He was more focused on what was happening and the presentation. He gave a signal to James, who marched out all the boys staying in Downe House, which currently included the orphans and the pupils remaining for the summer from Castle Fraser. They drew up in six double rows of ten boys, to my left and in front of the tarpaulin covered square. With everyone now quietly waiting, I turned to the head of the delegation. He cleared his throat, then snatched his cap from his head. "Your Grace, err Mr McPhee," he nodded to us both. God, I wished Forts had made it, he would have loved this, it just made me feel uncomfortable. I fixed my smile as he continued. "It is a great honour for me," he pulled the tarpaulin off with a great flourish, revealing a small wattle pen, "To present you and the Boys of Downe House Boys' Home with these six piglets from the Red Dragon Brick and Cement Works, Brick Division Pig Club. We hope that Downe House Boys' School will accept and use them to begin their own 'Pig Club.'" The piglets, now revealed and no longer feeling safe, squealed and charged round the pen, making a hell of a racket. I glanced at a smiling Chris, exclaiming, "My goodness." To be honest, I was a bit stunned. I had been presented with a few things now, but never piglets. From behind me, I could hear all the boys excitedly chatting. The words, "Pigs," and "Wow," featuring a lot. I turned back to the delegation. Christ, what did the man say his name was when he introduced himself to me? That was it, just before the silence became too long, I remembered. "Mr Murdoch, what an amazing gift. I know his Imperial Highness will be overwhelmed with the generosity shown to the boys by the Red Dragon Brick and Cement Workers Pig Club..." Chris leant to my ear, whispering, "Brick Division, Pig Club." I smiled, hoping my faux pax hadn't been noticed as I quickly added. "Brick Division, Pig Club. Thank you and please pass on our grateful thanks to all the members of the 'Pig Club'." Mr Murdoch was beaming, he gave a little bow. "It is our great pleasure, Your Grace. To help the boys out... You know." I nodded. With that, he stepped back. Another member of the delegation stepped forward, smiling. Behind him, several men picked up the smaller crates and brought them forward, each removing the sacking as they put them down. "Your Grace, Mr McPhee, on behalf of the Red Dragon, Brick and Cement Work, Cement Division, 'Back Yard Barn Yard Club', I would like to present you with these chickens and rabbits for the boys of Downe House." I was sure Mr Murdoch grunted. The other man glared at him, then continued. "We hope that they will form their own 'Back Yard Barn Yard Club', and get as much pleasure from it as we all do." Chris whispered in my ear, "Remember these are from only the 'Cement Division'." It was obvious I hadn't been told everything. I don't know how I didn't laugh. Duke smiled, he leant to my ear, "The Red Dragon, Brick and Cement Works, Cement Division, Back Yard, Barn Yard Club, not the Red Dragon, Brick and Cement Works, Brick Division, Pig Club." Once more, I thanked the delegation on behalf of Forts, myself, and the boys, getting the boys to give three cheers to them all. Next, I shook hands with the delegation and their helpers and thanked them all individually as well. Chris stood with me as they all mounted up into the lorry and left us with several crates of rabbits, chickens and a pen of piglets. Chris was grinning proudly. "See how much everyone thinks of you and Forts? It's bloody amazing." I nodded. Then with a grin, "Right Chris, I am going to leave this lot to you. Catch you later." Chris glanced round at the pen of piglets and crates of chickens and rabbits. "But..." I patted him on the back. "Thanks Chris, see you later." I turned, and with Duke chuckling beside me, headed back down the path to Pittodrie House. * It was another beautiful morning. The dappled light of the low autumn sun filtered through the trees. That said, it was also a bit chillier I noticed. Duke smiled at me. Then I remembered, "Hey, what's with the Annie Oakley, why couldn't I be Buffalo Bill?" He grinned, "I am Buffalo Bill and you are the crack shot, anyway." We both laughed. A few feet further on, Duke cleared his throat. "Davy, err, Your Grace." "Duke! it's Davy remember, especially when we are alone." Duke smiled and nodded, then his face went serious again. "Davy, it's about Will, the Head Groom." "Go on." "I am not sure if he has complained about me officially yet, Darius told me he hadn't said anything to him, but Will did scream at me, that he was reporting me to Mr McPhee." "Is it about your friendship with Robin?" Duke nodded. "It's getting to feel like it is much more than a friendship, if I am honest. He is a lovely guy, I really care about him." "Do you love him?" Duke blushed, "I think I do." "So, what is the problem?" "Will is getting annoyed about me sleeping in the groom's accommodation with Robin... He has also accused me of distracting the boy from his work." I had to chuckle. "So, what do you want me or Forts to do about it?" "Nothing really, I just wanted you to know and hear about it from me, I suppose. I just wish he would lighten up, stomping around snarling in his jack boots." Duke put his finger below his nose, imitating a Hitler moustache and goose stepped a few feet. He was grinning, "I'm sorry but it is becoming ridiculous. All that is missing is the 'Snell, Snell!" I had to laugh, I knew exactly what he meant. Forts and I weren't blind. I stopped, thinking about what Forts would do. "You are due some time off, aren't you?" Duke nodded. "Yes, but with the security team now one short, I don't think it is right that I take it at the moment." "Duke, let me and Forts worry about that. Why don't you take Robin to Craigievar Castle for the weekend? Have a break together and see where it goes." "But, Robin...Will." I smiled, "Duke, let me and Forts worry about Will. In fact, McPhee can deal with him. You just get yourself ready and then take off and have a nice break just the two of you. I will tell Forts and speak to Denis and tell him to look after you both." Duke nodded. "Thank you. Can I give you a hug?" I held my arms open to him. "I am always up for a hug." * I still hadn't bumped in to Forts. Albert said he hadn't been back since he left for the morning meeting. I wondered what had happened. I found Robert. He told me Forts had gone to speak to Dima, but then they had both vanished. There were also no members of the security team about other than Duke, who had been with me, and David and Andrei, who were with Edik and the boys. Neither of them knew where Darius or Tobias was, but thought they must be with Forts. I released Duke and told him to go and get ready for his weekend away. I quickly rang Denis and told him to expect guests and to make them very welcome. I got the boys brought into the apartment with me, and now had David and Andrei seated outside our apartment, ostensibly protecting us all. Where the bloody hell was Forts? Why hadn't he left a message to let me know where he was? I should have probably waited until I had calmed down, but I didn't. I snatched up the phone and rang Downe House. I spoke to James, who was with Chris. Forts hadn't turned up there. God only knows where he was! "Let me speak to Chris!" Growing angrier by the second, I told Chris to speak to Will and arrange cover for Robin, who was 'going to be assisting me' over the weekend and wouldn't be available at the stables, Adding, "Make sure that Will understands, I did not appreciate hearing about him strutting about like some kind of Nazi Officer. Tell him that is not how I expect things to be done!" Snarling, "And if he has a problem with that, tell him to see me!" I slammed down the phone. Draco began to cry, quickly joined by Aaran and Andrew... SHIT, SHIT, SHIT! Quietly, Edik and Albert each picked up one of the boys while I cuddled Draco, whispering, "Daddy's sorry. He is just a bit cross with daddy." "Did you hear that Dima! That doesn't sound good. What have I done now?" Forts was standing grinning, with Dima by his side. Both of them were in their riding gear and looking a bit windswept. Forts came over to me smiling, he took hold of Draco, "Has Daddy upset Mummy?" He kissed my cheek. I forced a smile, "Don't you dare kiss me, where have you been?" I kept my voice loving and caring, so as not to upset the boys again. It's true, as long as you say it with a smile on your face, it doesn't sound like you are cross at all. Forts chuckled, talking in a baby voice to Draco. "Oh dear, daddy is in trouble, isn't he... Yes I am... Yes I am... Give daddy a big kiss..." Draco giggled and chuckled as Forts "brrrrr'd" into his neck. How could anyone remain cross with him for long? "Forts, it's serious, no one knew where you were." He grinned, "I did." He leant forward and kissed me again, grinning like a loon. "Davy, I am sorry. I think it is all my fault." It was Dima. He hesitated, "Forts took me out riding to ... err, help clear my head." Forts burst out laughing. He was really buzzing. "Shush, don't tell him that. I was going to tell him I had a new beau." I shook my head, "Well, he is welcome to you." Forts pouted, "Now you don't mean that." "Yes, I do!" "Davy, I am really sorry." It was Dima again. "Dima, we are joking... It is great to see you again, my friend." I hugged Dima. He smiled, shaking his head. "I don't think I will ever understand the British sense of humour." * The door opened behind us. "Excuse me Forts, is it right that Duke has been given the weekend off?" It was Darius. Forts handed Draco to his uncle Dima and then looked at me, apprehensively. "Davy?" I turned to Darius, "Yes. I gave him the weekend off, he needs it. I have given him the use of Craigievar Castle for the weekend, he is taking Robin... Why is there a problem?" Darius stood and glanced at Forts. Forts promptly said, "Don't look at me. Davy has told you what's happening, that's it." He moved and put his arm round me. Darius nodded and left. Forts kissed my head, "It might have been an idea to let Darius know?" AARRGGHHH! "I would have if I could have found him... But oh, YES, he was with you and no one knew where you all were!" Forts threw up his hands in surrender. "God, I love you when you are angry." I blushed and shook my head, "I might have shouted at McPhee and Will, too." Forts swept me off my feet and burled me round and round. "God, I love you. I am sure they both deserved it." He saw my face, "Ah, well tell me later." ********************** Folks, there is nothing more rewarding than hearing from you that you are enjoying the story.
