He untangled himself and stretched, and suddenly Mark patted him softly. "You okay buddy?" Mark whispered. "You were making noises and moving around a lot." Luke thought a minute before replying. He had dreamed that he and Lonnie had had a big fight and that Lonnie was mad at him. In the dream Lonnie had said things that had really hurt Luke's feelings. He was glad it was only a dream, but he was still upset. "I..just had a bad dream, that's all. I'm okay now." "Okay, buddy. Night night, love ya. See you in the morning." Mark whispered sleepily as he patted the boy once again. "Night." Luke replied. "I gotta go pee first." Luke stood up slowly and unzipped the tent door, he stepped out and realized he was a little nervous being alone in the darkness. He was relieved to see Mark step out of the tent as he stood peering into the darkness. "I hadda go too." Mark explained. "Cool." Luke moved up to the nearby tree and Mark took a place on the other side of it. Luke yawned as he let go with a hot powerful stream , and Mark followed suit. "Ahhh, that feels better." Mark said humorously. Luke was in no mood for humor and ignored Mark's comment. Mark knew something was bothering Luke, and he was tired of waiting for him to tell him what that might be. He decided to try to pull it out of the boy. "Hey, Luke." Mark said softly. "Let's go sit on the table and talk a minute. Okay?" Luke was surprised but agreed, and hopped up on the cement table. The cement of the table was cold and sent shivers through Luke's body. He folded his arms around his chest and waited for Mark to speak. "What's wrong buddy. I know you, and something is bothering you." Mark began. "Is it Lonnie. Did something happen today?" Luke bowed his head and considered not replying, but his respect for Mark made him reply with a shrug of his shoulders. "I dunno. Not really. I mean nothing bad. I just....... I don't know how I'm supposed to feel." "Ahh, I see." Mark replied hoping the boy would elaborate. "If I tell you, promise not to get mad." Luke said looking seriously at Mark. "Luke, I promise I will never get mad at anything you tell me. I love ya buddy, don't ya know that? "Yeah, sorry." Luke began slowly filling Mark in on the what he and Lonnie had shared. Mark supressed a wave of jealously and tried to be objective. "That's cool. As long as you both agreed about what you did, aint nobodies business but yours." "I just...I don't know how to feel about all this stuff. I mean the sex stuff was fun...but I don't know if I love Lonnie or what." Luke said cocking his head to one side and looking sadly at Mark. Mark took a deep breath before responding. "You know buddy, you're still pretty young to have to make any commitments to anyone. I mean sure I know you're old enough to have special feelings for someone. I like to think you have special feelings for me and for Don." Luke nodded. "You know I love you and Don a lot, but this feels different." "I know buddy. First love is a very special thing. Maybe you and Lonnie do have feelings for each other, I don't know, maybe not. Personally I think you should just let things happen. Don't sweat it. If it's love it will happen, if not you'll know soon enough. Anyway, tomorrow we go back and you guys may not see each other for awhile." Mark said placing an arm around Luke's shivering form. Luke looked forlorn as the reality of that statement sank in. "God, Mark...I miss him already." Luke said sadly. Mark supressed a giggle. The boy was smitten, even if he didn't know it himself. "Tell you what, I'll talk to Lonnie's folks tomorrow. I'll make it clear that Lonnie would be welcome to come and stay with us anytime, then the two of you could be together." Luke smiled weakly at Mark and nodded. "Thanks Dad, you're the greatest." He threw his arms around Mark's neck and hugged him. Mark felt ready to cry, had Luke realized that he had called him Dad? He hadn't called him that since that first night online when they had met. He pulled the boy close and wrapped him up in his strong embrace. Luke melted into him and nuzzeled his neck, sending cold chills throughout his body. Mark's cock suddenly sprang to attention and stirred in his lap. Not now, he told himself. The boy is just being affectionate, he's not coming on to you. But Luke's hand suddenly moved to Mark's chest and he rubbed the soft hairless flesh causing Mark's nippled to go hard. He gasp as Luke suddenly leaned in and kissed him fully on the mouth. Mark was at first reluctant, but finally decided a kiss was alright, he just couldn't let himself get carried away. Mark had been kissed many times, by many boys and men, but suddenly he felt as if he had never really been kissed at all before now. His senses were suddenly on a new plane of awareness. He felt the kiss all the way down to his toes, and his heart was beating so hard he could feel the blood in his ears. His cock was painfully trapped between his legs, the consequences of freeing it too frightening to consider. Part of him wanted to push the boy away, while the other part wanted to pull the boy closer and make love to him. A million scenerios went through his mind as Luke continued to kiss him , his kiss now turning lurid, far from the sweet innocent kiss it had begun as. Mark's mind screamed for him to put a stop to this madness now, but how could he refuse the boy without damaging his sweet innoncence. Mark pulled away slightly and stared into Luke's eyes. There was a look of surprise, then question as Mark began speaking softly. "Babe that was one sweet kiss, you took my breath away. But, I think you should save that for Lonnie." Luke looked hurt and pulled away folding his arms around his slender frame. "I can love you too." Luke said almost defiantly. "I know, buddy. You can love a lot of people, your mom, me , Don, but there are all different kinds of love. Don't get me wrong, the kind of love you seem to be offering me is something really special, and I am so flattered. But, I don't ever want you to feel like you have to do anything to earn my love. I love you buddy, no matter what. Understand?" Luke nodded. "I just don't understand. You always told me that sex isn't bad if both people want it. Don't you want it? I do, a lot." He looked hurt and confused as he continued. "You love me that way, don't you?" Mark groaned as his own words came back to haunt him. "Luke, it's not that I don't want it. I've dreamed about it a thousand times, but it's just really complicated. I mean it's not just about us, I have Don to think about too." Luke was suddenly quiet as he considered what Mark had just said. "I never thought about that. Do you think Don would get mad. I don't ever wanna cause no trouble." "Would I get mad about what?" A sleepy Don suddenly asked as he moved away from the tent. The two had been too deep into their conversation to notice his exit from the tent. Luke felt a wave of fear surge through him. He turned an embarassed face to Mark and held his breath. "Hey, come on over and sit down." Mark said patting the space beside him on the bench. Don slowly walked over and plopped down beside Mark and looked at him curiously. "Is this what I think it is?" Don ask suddenly. Mark nodded his head. He knew Don better than anyone, but he didn't have a clue as to how he would react. He nervously outlined what had occurred as Luke stared into his lap, fearfull and ashamed. "Oh, is that all." Don said cheerfully. "I figured you two had gotten that out of the way a long time ago. Look, I love both of you, and if it's what you want, then it's fine with me. I'm not the jealous type and I know you love me Mark, so don't worry about what I think." Mark pulled Don into his arms and kissed him fully on the lips. He knew Don was special but, how special he hadn't realized until this minute. "I love you so very, very much." He said breaking the kiss. "Now how about we all go back to sleep, I'm exhausted." Luke looked up and managed a strained smile. "Okay, I'm pretty tired too." Luke said yawning. "Luke, let's just leave things as they are for now. If it happens, it happens." His voice was choked with emotion as he continued. " I love you both so much." He pulled them both close and hugged them. "Now back to bed. Tomorrow will be sooner than we think." Mark awoke to find Luke snuggled up on one side of him and Don snuggled up on the other. He smiled and gave him both a gentle good morning kiss. Luke's eyes flickered open and he blessed Mark with his heavenly smile. Don stirred a little but continued to sleep, his mind reluctant to join the wakening world. "Hi." Mark whispered. "Did you sleep well?" "Yeah, thanks." Luke said thoughtfully. "I'm really sorry about last night. I was really stupid." "Noooo" Mark said gently. "You were not being stupid youre being you. You were being you. And you offered me the most precious gift two people can share. It really means a lot to me just to have you offer. I hope I didn't hurt your feelings in any way. I only want what's best for you buddy. I love you so much." Luke managed a smile as he digested Mark's words. "I'm not giving up." Luke said with an evil grin. "Someday I'll find you when you're weak, and bam....!" He finished with a giggle Mark groaned and hugged the boy close tickling his sensitive ribs with his free hand. Don stirred as the tickling evoked loud giggling from the boy. He raised up and smiled, glad to see the two engaged in horseplay. He stood up slowly and stretched. Mark stopped tickling Luke and the two watched Don,both studdying his handsome face and chiseled body. Mark felt a stirring, one not entirely caused by his morning pee-boner. Presently the three slipped on shorts and walked to the bathroom to relieve themselves. Don and Mark fixed a quick breakfast and they showered and dressed for the short drive to pick up Lonnie. Lonnie was waiting impatiently outside his house and bounced up to the truck as Mark pulled into the drive. He opened the door and stuck his head in. "Mom says come over to the drive-in she wants to talk to ya." Lonnie said with a big grin. He looked at Luke and they exchanged smiles. Lonnie swarmed over to Luke as he climbed out and Mark thought they looked like two puppies as they fiested around with each other. He and Don led the way and Lonnie's mom came to the window. "Oh, hi." She said sliding back the window. "I just wanted to say thank you again, and let you know that you won't have to bring him back, his dad will drive down and pick him up later. Is six too late?" "6 is fine, we plan on leaving around 6:30 or so. We're gonna pack up when we get back." Mark explained. "Okay, well...Lonnie be good and mind Mark and Don. Luke since I won't see you before you leave, come around here and give me a hug. Luke looked surprised but walked to the backdoor and accepted his hug with delight. She whispered into his ear and gave him a little squeeze. "Thank you sweetie for being nice to my Lonnie. He really likes you a lot." She pulled away and gave Luke a wink. Luke walked away confused. Did she know or was he just being silly? He dismissed the thought and rejoined the others. Lonnie ran inside his house to grab his things and they were off. Once again Luke and Lonnie took the back seat and re-bonded, filling the vehicle with the excited chatter of two boys who had found the sweetness of first love. Mark and Don exchanged knowing glances and Mark felt a pang of emotion for the young man beside him. God, how he loved Don. The boys changed in the tent before heading off to the river to swim, leaving the two adults to pack up camp. An hour later, with everything packed Mark and Don changed into their trunks and joined the boys. They spent the rest of the afternoon splashing about and around five, tired and thirsty they walked back to the SUV. Mark dug out sodas for everyone and the boys ate some chips and cookies. It was around 5:30 when Luke and Lonnie went off to the bathrooms to change. Most of the campers had already packed up and left for and the few remaining campers were busy elsewhere, leaving the bathrooms empty. Luke was glad to see that no one was in sight as he and Lonnie headed into the bathroom. He winked at Lonnie seductively and once inside grabbed at his affectionately. "Hey, don't." Lonnie said pulling away. "Someone might see." Luke was hurt at first then shrugged the feeling off. "Nahh, no one's here but us. Come on...." "Nah, it's okay. I just wanna get changed and go, okay?" Lonnie said softly. Luke felt his smile wilt and he blushed. "Sure." He replied stiffly. Lonnie went into one of the shower stalls and changed quickly as a dejected Luke changed in the main room. He gathered up his clothes and waited for Lonnie who appeared shortly grinning slightly. Luke looked at him questiongly, hoping he would explain his sudden aloofness. When he failed to respond, Luke decided to take matters into his own hands. "Lonnie....what's wrong?" Luke ask nervously. "Yesterday....I mean you weren't worried about doin stuff." "I just don't wanna, okay." Lonnie said shrugging. "My dad will be here in a minute, come on let's go." A sad Luke followed Lonnie out the door and back to the campsite. They found Lonnie's dad had already arrived and was chatting with Mark and Don. They seemed to be having a pleasant conversation as the two boys approached. Lonnie broke into a run and jumped on his dad who pulled him into a bear hug. "You ready to go Lon?" His dad said smiling. "Yeah, can I tell Luke goodbye first?" Lonnie said eying Luke shyly. "Sure, sure. Why don't you two go down by the spillway and say your goodbyes, I'll just wait here." Lonnie's dad said patting his son affectionately. Luke looked surprised, but followed Lonnie down the trail and onto to the rocky bank near the spillway. The water made soft gurgling sounds as the boys found stood eye to eye neither speaking. Luke felt so unhappy that he wanted to cry, but he didn't want to let Lonnie know just how much he hurt. Lonnie felt helpless and confused, overcome by the contrasting emotions that he had felt the last two days. He wanted to hug Luke and kiss him, but he was afraid. He was afraid of the emotions that he had suppressed for so long. At first Luke seemed like his redemption, but now he resented Luke. Luke had forced him to deal with his own differences. But, on the other hand Luke was different too, they were kindred spirits. But,one thing he knew for sure....he had to let Luke know that he had feelings for him, even if he didn't understand all that they implied. He couldn't let Luke go away without trying to share some part of how he felt. Lonnie looked up and gazed into Luke's eyes. Luke blushed and waited, his heart beating fast. "Luke." Lonnie took a deep breath before continuing. "Thanks...for inviting me here and everything. I......I'm gonna miss you......a lot." Lonnie turned his eyes to the ground as tears welled up in them. Luke smiled weakly, still hurt but like Lonnie he didn't want them to part with so much unsaid. He was only twelve, but at the moment he felt the weight of the world on his shoulders. "It's okay. I had fun, especially in your treehouse." He said grinning. Lonnie smiled and felt the tension ease between them. He looked around, and seeing no one in sight, he moved up to Luke and took his hand. "I'm sorry....I shouldn't have been like that in the bathroom. We missed out on a chance to be together. I'm shit, man...can you forgive me?" Lonnie was choked up with emotion as he spoke and Luke took his hand. "It's okay. I'm a little wierded out by all this too. It's cool, don't sweat it." Luke said, feeling as if Mark was standing behind him guiding him as he spoke. "Maybe you can come visit me sometime, Mark says it's cool and he was gonna talk to your dad about it." Lonnie brightened a little and smiled. Looking around again he leaned in and kissed Luke softly but quickly. Both boys smiled and they walked back holding hands right up till the last minute, not wanting the adults to see them being affectionate. Luke knew Mark and Don would be cool with it, but he wasn't sure how Lonnie's dad would feel about Lonnie having a boy friend. Gosh, boy friend...he thought of himself as Lonnie's boy friend. He smiled to himself and squeezed Lonnie's hand tightly before surrendering it. Their shoulders brushed once or twice as they hurried back to camp and Luke wished that they had had time to make up properly. Luke ventured a quick hug which seemed to cause no alarm in Lonnie's dad,and they said their goodbyes, both boys waving until Lonnie was out of sight. A sad Luke burried his face in Mark's chest as he blanketed him in a hug. Luke was crying softly now and Don joined the hug rubbing Luke's back softly. "I miss him...." Luke whined. "I know baby." Mark said. "But, I got good news. Luke's dad, says that he can come over in a couple of weeks. They are going to his class reunion and will be passing through town. He said if it was okay Lonnie could stay with us the weekend. He can pick him up Sunday afternoon on the way back." Luke danced for joy and wiped at his tears. "Really? That's greaaaaat!" He said in his best Tony Tiger voice. As they drove back, Luke made plans for Lonnie's visit and forgot all about his sadness at leaving. Mark and Don held hands and exchanged furtive glances as they sat in silence enjoying the warmth of each other's company. Tired but happy, they dropped Luke off at his house and headed home. No matter how much Mark enjoyed camping, he was always glad to get back to the comfort of his own bed. Showered and relaxed he and Don wasted no time making up for missed opportunities. Around midnight, exhausted and very satisfied, they finally went to sleep. In a house not to far away, Luke had finished working his stiff cock for the third time, having envisioned Lonnie's hand on his cock, replacing his own. He cleaned up quickly and fell asleep satisfied and happy at how his life was turning out. End of Chapter Ten......comments are welcome.
