Adian was amazed at the size of the ball park. It was the Home of the
Wilton Hornets, they were the college Midwest summer league. They drew
close to twenty thousand people over the 35 games home stand. They pulled
up to the park and went inside.

Blake left after the game leaving him with Blake's mom and dad. They had
transferred all his equipment into John's SUV along with Scotts
equipment. On the way back to the house the two boys talked about the
game. Adian couldn't stop talking about the great two catches that he had
made at second base. He also talked the three hits that help score the two
runs one in the third inning and the winning double that scored the winning
run. Scott loved hearing Adian talk about the game. He was proud he could
help take his mind off what was going on with his family. When they got
home they unloaded the equipment out of the SUV and while they did that
Mary went into the kitchen with Jake and began to warm up the hot dish she
had made earlier. The two boys then went upstairs to shower and change. The
boys decided to shower together. Only this time it was just to clean
up. They really didn't have time to mess around because Mary said they
would be eating soon and both boys were hungry.

"So, what is your mom making for supper." Adian asked as he washed under
his arms.

"You know you can call her mom too." Scott said. But Adian didn't feel
comfortable calling her mom because his real mom was in the hospital.

"I don't know. I am only staying here for a few weeks." Adian said as he
washed between his legs. Scott watched as his young foster brothers dangles
down between his legs.

"I think she is making tator tot hot dish. Ever had it before?" Scott
asked.

"No, I don't think so. Is it good?" Adian asked as he watched Scott wash

would be heading out to Minneapolis for the state semi final game. Scott
knew better to argue with John. So, he lead the way and Adian
followed. Once in their room they quickly stripped and crawled in
bed. Sometime during the night Adian must have had a bad dream because, he
woke up and started to cry which woke Scott up. Scott knew what to do so he
crawled out of bed and joined Adian. He held him till they both fell
asleep.

When Adian woke the next morning, he felt Scott's arm around him. He could

"Be home before 9:30. We have to be at the hospital before ten." John said.

"Why so early?" Adian asked. He did not know of the plans to go to the
state baseball tournament and watch the Wilton Wildcat play for the final
for the state championship.

"We have some big plans for today. Make sure when you get home to pack an
overnight bag too." John said with a slight smile on his face. Mary just
handed Adian a glass of orange juice and a homemade egg and sausage
biscuit.

"Eat and get going." Mary said then patted his back. Adian sat down to eat
and finish his breakfast said he would be back and headed out for his
run. Just like he had agreed to he met Eric at Boyers along with Freddy and
Bobby Olson, JD and RJ, the six of them then made their way to Jose's and
Carlos house. There they met up with the rest of the boys. Eric and Adian
set the pace which was slower then the normal pace they themselves would
have ran. The one thing the two boys had agreed on before hand, was that
they would stop and rest to let the other boys catch their wind if they had
too. What was surprising was the three youngest on the baseball team were
keeping pace with Adian and Eric. Adian once again admired the cute butt of

continued on to Boyer's groceries. Adian thought the others would go their
own way and was surprised that all but Freddy and Sean continued running.

"Are you guys not going home?" Adian asked. Aaron was the one to answer.

"Not yet, Bobby and Bryan and I usually run longer than this and our pace
is usually faster."

"Ok, how about you guys follow me and Eric and we will run at the pace we
would be more comfortable at." Adian said. Then sped up to the pace he
would normally run at. Adian was surprised that Eric and the others were
able to keep up to him. When they got closer to the Holand House Adian
slowed down to his cool down pace.

"Why are you slowing down?" Eric asked.

"I got to go home. My foster dad said I had to be home at 9:30. So, I got
to go." Adian told them. "But if you guys want to continue, Have fun and I
will join you guys on Monday."

"Your not going to run with us tomorrow?" Eric asked.

"No I won't. I guess we are going down to the Wildcats game this afternoon
and we are staying the night. But you guys can run without me." Adian
suggested to the boys.

"Hey our family is going too. My brother plays on the team. My brother
thinks it's great I get to play for Coach." Eric said.

"Cool, Maybe we can sit together at the game." Adian said excited. When
they approached Adian stop the other boys continued on, waving goodbye as
they rounded the corner then Adian heard Eric's voice call out.

"See you at the game." then disappeared. Adian went into the house and
called out that he was home. Then went upstairs to shower and change. Scott
was in the room watching a video on his computer of two men going at each

for the hospital.

Everyone went upstairs and visited with Maria before they got back into the
SUV then headed off to the Twin Cities. Adian, Scott and Jake sat in the
backseat and watched a movie on the portable DVD player. They had to settle
on watching Shrek because Jake loved it and Adian had never seen the movie
before. All three boys were asleep before the movie was half way
over. Adian woke up just as they were pulling up to the Metro dome. Mary
and the boys got out, Mary put Jake in the stroller and Scott grabbed the
diaper bag and then made their way to gate F and waited for John to join
them after he went to park the car. While they were waiting Eric Hooper and
his parents Jeff and Judy Hooper showed up they were seated in the same
section as the Holand Family. Eric and Adian talked while Mary and Scott
talked with Jeff and Judy. When John finally joined them they all went to
sit down behind the third base dugout which held the Wilton
Wildcats. Adian, Eric and Scott went up to the rail above the dugout and
Scott called out to his brother Grayson. Grayson came out of the dugout and
waved and called out to his brother. Blake heard Grayson and decided to see
who he was waving too. When He went out he was greeted with a whoop and
holler from Scott, Adian and a few of the Wildcat fans. He went over and
talked to the boys along with Grayson, Miles and Kristian. They had heard
Eric call out his brother and when Blake went they heard Scott and Adian
call out to Blake after they cheered. After they talked a little bit the
boys from the team went to warm up. Both Eric and Adian both went and asked
if they could go sit some where else to get a better view of the game.

Adian didn't know anyone on the Wildcats team other than Miles and Kristian
and now Grayson and of course Coach Holand. Both Eric and himself had moved
up behind the home plate. Just before the first pitch was thrown.  The
Wildcats took a one run lead off from the Fulton Blue jays in the first
inning. The Blue jays were the only undefeated team coming into this years
state tournament with a 28 game winning streak. They were the odds on
favorites to win the State Championship. The Wildcats had only two losses
during the School year and they were to the same team on a hot and humid
Thursday afternoon, two weeks before the playoff started. Eric had filled
Adian in as they sat and watch the Blue jays come up to bat at the top of

second. Coach Holand made a couple changes. Kristian had gone out to play
center field and Miles had gone in to catch.

"Why did Coach take out the older ballplayers?" Adian asked Eric who was
still holding Adian's hand.

"Kristian and Miles are two of the better players on the team. Miles is a
good catcher and has better arm strength, while Kristian has better speed
and is a better hitter than the guy in center field. I bet if coach would
have known you were such a good player he would have had you playing in
todays game." Eric added. Adian just looked at him like he was crazy. But
Eric knew he was right. Adian is one of those special players a once in a
life time, with the God given talent to move to heights that no one else
from Wilton would achieve. The Wildcats shut the Blue jays down again at
the top of the third inning, the pitcher had only allowed one hit and that
came on a bunt. That put the runner on first base but his team stranded
him. Greyson was the second batter in the line up. Adian could feel Eric
begin to tense up when his brother stepped into the batters box. He began
to squeeze his hand and draw it closer to his inner thigh closer to his
groin.  The first pitch thrown to Greyson came in low and to the inside for
ball one. The next pitch was a curve ball that broke to the inside for a
call strike. Greyson stepped out adjusted his elbow pad knocked the dirt
from his shoes and stepped in once more. the pitcher then threw the perfect
pitch, Greyson lowered his head and watched as the pitch seem to move just
a little, so he swung. Adian's hand was now pressed into Eric's groin, he

Clink, came the sound of the ball hitting the bat. Both Adian and Eric rose

first base the infield was playing in. Miles looked over at Coach Holand
and got the single to steal on the first pitch. While signaling Kristian
who was batting after Miles for a hit and run. Kristian squared around as
if to bunt which drew the infield in for the bunt. When the pitcher went
into his wind up he pulled back and swung as the ball came in. Both Adian
and Eric were on their feet as the ball went up the middle right over the
second baseman's head and dropped in just in front of the
centerfielder. Miles moved to second and Kristian made it safely to first
base, while Greyson scored. The crowd roared and Adian's and Eric's hands
released as they jumped up and down, but when they sat down they once again
held each others hands. Neither boy knew why they were holding each others
hand but they were enjoying it. Once Again Eric pulled Adian's hand to his

run to bring the score to 4-1. The Blue jays shut the Wildcats down for the
next two innings and scored another run at the top of the 5th
inning. Greyson was back on deck and Eric grabbed Adian's hand again. Only
this time he just held it. Again both boys felt an excitement run through
their bodies. Greyson stepped into the batters box and stared back at the
pitcher. The outfield remembered him from the last time he was up at bat
and backed up in the outfield. As the ball came in Greyson swung and drove
the ball into left center. Adian and Eric were on their feet cheering along
with the other Wildcats fans. Greyson had to slide into second base just
under the tag and was called safe. Miles strolled up to the plate and
looked down the third base line. Blake gave the signal for a bunt and Miles
nodded. As he squared around to bunt the First and third base charged in,
Greyson took off for third base. Miles placed the bunt perfectly down the
first baseline. The second baseman had moved towards second base, when
Greyson took off looking for the throw down to second on the strike. But
was caught off guard on the bunt. Both the pitcher and the first baseman
charged, the ball leaving first base unprotected. Miles made it safely to
first base, Greyson slid under the tag. With Kristian up to bat next it
looked like the Wildcats were going to score once again. Kristian drove the
first pitch into right field scoring Greyson and moving Miles to third
base. With runners at the corners, Devon once again came up to bat, after
striking out the first time at bat he was ready this time and drove the
ball into left field, bringing Miles home and moving Kristian to second
base. But the next batter hit the ball to second base for an easy double
play and the batter struck out. With their lead now 7-2 the Wildcats
defense kicked in and shut the Blue jays down. The Wildcats fans went wild
it was the first time in over 20 years that the Wildcats had gone to the
State finals.

Adian and Eric made their way back to Eric's parents and the Holand
family. When Jake saw Adian coming he let out a squeal letting him know he
was happy to see him. Jake squirmed in his brothers lap trying to get to
Adian. Adian went over and took Jake into his arms. Then Jake did something
he rarely did with anyone else. He gave Adian a kiss on his lips. Adian was
surprised and Scott was laughing at him. Mary reached over and took Jake

felt good and he wanted to do it again. Both Eric and Adian sat down and
waited for the coach and players to come out of the dug out. When they did
they cheered for them again. This was going to be a fun weekend. When they
did get up to leave they made their way out to the front of the
dome. Waiting for their ride to the hotel. Adian had no idea what hotel
they would be staying at since he had only been staying at the Holand's for
the last five days. Eric said they were staying at the Hilton hotel that
was in Bloomington just off hwy 494. Adian had no idea where that even was
and when Eric tried to tell him it was by the Mall of America. Still Adian
had no clue as to where that was.

He has only been to Minneapolis only once that he remembered. It was a
couple years ago and that was to pick up His Grandmother and his uncle
Logan, who was just a few years older than him. Logan had been one of those
later in life baby moments. He was the one who had suggested that his
grandparents get him the Sega system, That way when he came to visit he
would have something him and Adian could do together. He knew his
grandparents live in the twin cities but he didn't know where.

When the SUV pulled up, Adian noticed that the Hooper's were in the van
behind them. Once everybody was loaded they headed out for the hotel. Adian
never got the chance to watch where they were going, all his attention was
on Scott and Jake. So when they pulled up to the hotel Adian was surprised
to see Eric, Greyson and their family unloading their stuff from the
van. This was going to be cool he thought to himself. He grabbed his bags
and followed the Holand's to the check in desk. Once checked in Mary gave
both Scott and him a key to the room they would be staying in. What he
didn't know is that Scott and himself would be sharing a room. Of course
the room was connected to Mary and Johns and the door would be opened until
it was bedtime unless they had some friends over. Both Scott and Adian
grabbed their swim suits and wanted to go swimming but Mary told them that
they would have to wait until after supper. They had made plans with the
Hooper's to meet at Jacks steak house in the Mall of America. Adian had
only driven past the Mall of America once and he was blown away by the size
of the place. Once they got out of the SUV and met up with the Hooper's,
Adian took Eric's hand so he would not get lost. Eric thought nothing of
it. They had held hands throughout most of the baseball game. So, it was
not a big deal holding hands through the mall.

Mary Holand, notice Adian and Eric holding hands and smiled, then she
nudged Eric's mother pointing out the two boys as they walked behind
them. Both women smiled at the two boys thinking it was so cute. Mary
thought about taking a picture with her cell phone, but then thought
better. She would get pictures of the boys together later. They finally
reached the restaurant and all sat down to eat together. Eric sat next to
Adian still holding hands. Greyson sat on the other side of Adian rubbing
his knee up against Adian's leg. Adian didn't care, he like the attention
he was getting from the two brothers. Both Eric and Greyson were both good
looking young men. Adian and Eric were the same size, But Eric had a
wrestlers build where Adian had a runners build. Even though Adian had
never done any sports before this summer He still was an athlete, broad
shoulders, he didn't have ABS yet, but was on the way to building a nice

was doing. Eric really wasn't stronger then Adian just a little different

soon. Eric was a wrestler and a good one at that. He had won his age group
championship in the AAU tournament. Eric could have gone on to wrestle in
the National tournament, but his parents felt it was to early and there
would be to much pressure on him if he competed. Still he worked hard to
get too where he was today. He ran everyday to keep in shape for the up
coming AAU summer tournament and practice every other day with the other
boys who were going.  The meal finally came, Eric and Adian ordered Jacks
bourbon burger with fresh cut French fries. While the others order steaks
and bake potatoes. Little Jake had chicken nuggets and fries. When they
finished eating it was close to 7 p.m. and they decided to head back to the
hotel. Once at the hotel all four boys asked if they could go to the
swimming pool. All the parents agreed but told the boys they had to be back
in their rooms by 10:15.

The boys hurried and changed into their swim suits and then headed down to
the pool. Once down in the pool Adian showed off his diving skills. His
father had been a swimming instructor and diving coach when he was younger
and his hopes and dreams was to have Adian become a swimmer also, but he
cheated on his mother with one of his divers and had to leave coaching and
he had to leave the school district. After that he left his mother and that
was when they moved to Wilton. That was four years ago. The boys swam
around splashing playing tag and a little grabbing here and there.

Greyson's focus was on Adian, he thought the boy was really cute. He had
also noticed the package in his swim suit. He had even got the chance to
feel it a couple times when Adian and him teamed up to play chicken. At
first it was soft but as things went on he could feel it getting harder as
the game of chicken went on. When they won Greyson helped Adian off his

habit. The two took their time washing each others backs, taking special
care of their little holes in the process. Both boys knew that nothing
other than playing around together in the shower was going to happen. But
they still enjoyed each others company. Scott knew if he didn't love Eric
Boyer so much he would make his move on Adian in a heart beat.

The boys crawled into their own beds. Sometime during the night Adian had
crawled in with Scott, both boys cuddled together and slept throughout the
night. Mary knocked on the door the next morning to wake the boys. Adian
could feel Scotts hard penis pressing against him and enjoyed the
feeling. Adian also wished Scott wasn't dating Eric Boyer, he liked him a
lot and would like to do more if there was ever a chance. The boys got up
quick, got dressed and join the rest of the family, then went down to the
hotel restaurant. Once again they met up with the Hooper family.

Adian sat next to Eric and Greyson again. He was a little surprised when he
felt Greyson's hand on his thigh. He was instantly hard. He was wishing it
was Eric's hand. Once they finished they all headed out for the Metro
dome. They were an hour early the reason they were early is because Greyson
had to be there for practice. Eric, Scott and Adian went down to the
ballfield and played catch with the other players. Scott played catch with
Devon, Adian with miles and Eric with his brother. Mean while the parent
sat in the stands and watched the boys play catch.

Wilton Wildcats would be in the State Championship and they would be
playing against the Burnsville Blaze. The Blaze had only lost three games
during the year. After the two teams warmed up the game began. The Wildcats
won the toss and decided to be the home team. The game started out as a
pitching duel the Wildcats used their best pitcher Zach McGowan, who had a
10 game winning streak and they were going up against Davidson Morris who
had two shut out games during the Burnsville Blaze's season. Eric and Adian
had taken up there spot behind home plate. They were so into the game that
they just reacted to every pitch and when the Wildcats came up in the
bottom of the fifth inning the score was 0-0. Marty Kline the first
baseman, started off with a bloop single over the head of the second
baseman and mad it safely to first. Simon Rudnick strolled up to the
batters box and got set. The first two pitches were called strikes, the
next pitch was low and to the inside called for ball one. The next pitch
was right down the middle, Simon stepped into the ball and drove a line
drive right over third base. This moved Marty to second and Simon to first
base. With Greyson on deck. Greyson stepped up to the plate, adjusted his
gloves, took a swing and then got set. Davidson got into his windup and
threw his first pitch. Greyson stepped into the pitch and drove it deep
into centerfield. Both Marty and Simon scored and Greyson had another
double. Miles came to bat and went down in three pitches. Kristian moved
Greyson to third on a pop up fly to right field. With two outs and Greyson
on third, Devon came up to bat. He stepped into the batters box and swung
on the first pitch, driving it through the gap between the shortstop and
third base. Greyson sprinted to home. Devon tried for second and was thrown
out on a relay from left field to the shortstop for the out. Zach came in
and closed Burnsville down for the next two innings, only allowing one hit
up the middle for a single but struck out the rest. At the top of the
eighth inning things changed, the Burnsville players had caught up to
Zach's pitching and drove in two runs before he was able to shut them
down. All the while Adian and Eric were holding hands again. They had begun
doing that at the bottom of the fifth inning when Marty came up to
bat. Neither boy wanted to let go, hoping it would bring the team good
luck. With the score 3-2 going into the bottom of the eighth, the Wildcats
were able to score one more run to lead the Blaze 4-2. Zach stayed in and
gave up a walk and a hit to put two runners on base before he was
pulled. Blake walked to the mound to replace him. Blake turned to second
base calling Greyson to the mound.

"You sure you want me to pitch coach?" Greyson asked. So far, Greyson had
been the hero of the game and Blake wanted him to finish the game.

"Yes, I trust you can do it, you have been our best closer all year. This
is your chance to win it all for your team and by the looks of it for your
little brother and his new friend." Blake said. Greyson looked up into the
stands and found his little brother sitting behind home plate holding hands
with Adian and yelling at the top of their voices. Blake handed him the
ball and walked back to the dugout but not before turning around and
saying.

"Shut them down Grey."

Greyson stood and looked around before picking up the resin bag and then
made his ten practice throws before he felt he was ready. His first two
pitches were high and to the outside, his third pitch was down the
middle. The batter swung to late. His next pitch was high but the batter
got a piece of it for strike two. His next pitch was high and to the
outside. With the next pitch the batter hit the ball straight up in the air
in front of the pitchers mound, Greyson called for the hit, settled under
the ball and made the catch. Without even thinking he turned around threw
the ball to second, who in turn threw the ball to first base to record the
third triple play ever recorded in Minnesota State high school history. In
turn winning the first State Championship for Wilton in almost 20 years.
Adian and Eric were jumping around and hugging and before either boy
realized it, their lips met.
