So without further ado...here is the story. THE BOY - By 'Mak' ---------------------- Chapter 1 I got out of the car, and there it was, my new home. I looked at it, no, I stared, like I was mentally trying to blow it into pieces, nope, didn't work. Guess I had to live in it. The only thing that moving 5 times taught me was, make no friends, it'll hurt less without them. My parents went in, I was still standing outside looking around. I noticed there weren't many kids around that place, not like I cared. I looked at the neighbors' house, I saw someone looking at me through the window and then "he" disappeared, or was it my imagination? It could've been especially after a 12 hour-long ride. I went in, my parents were going around the house, as if looking for trap doors. They were the best things that ever happened to me after my real parents died, that's right, but I don't believe God could've taken care of me the way they had. I loved them and they loved me. They adopted me after my Mom found out she couldn't give birth. My Dad turned to me and asked, "So, What do you think?" "Well, its better than the last place" I said "and more peaceful I guess" "Just the way you like it, right?" Mom asked almost sarcastically "Yeah Mom, perfect!" I said trying to copy her tone, "So where's my room, I do have one, don't I?" "Upstairs son! Umm, first door to the left," shouted Dad just before entering the kitchen. That was all I needed, I picked up my boxes and sprinted upstairs. I opened the door and the next thing I saw made my jaw drop to the floor, it was my room. Twice the size of the other rooms I had in the past and right there beside my bed, my new computer. I don't quite remember now, but I believe I had screamed involuntarily which is exactly when my Dad came up and asked me what I thought, I just went over and hugged him, I think he knew what I wanted to say. He said it's all hooked up and ready and told me that there was still time for supper so if I wanted I could surf the net. I knew exactly why he did all this, he knew I didn't like to meet people, talk to them or have any sort of contact what so ever, which is the main reason I never made many friends or should I say I never wanted to, a minuscule sociopath, that's what I knew myself as. I never left my room unless absolutely necessary, sometimes my parents even had to convince the neighbors that they had a "son". I started the computer and soon enough I was on the net surfing through profiles at gay.com. I knew I was gay 2 years ago, and now I'm 15, lonely, introverted and closeted, no, not much of a progress, at all. But I learned to get used to it, to be alone, I guess the only reason I considered myself alive was because of my parents. The only socializing I ever did would be in chat rooms, web forums and any other place where the person I'd be talking to would be about a million miles away. I met a guy who was quite fun to talk to and gay, but he left soon and said he'd mail me. Yeah sure I said. No! I never did hear from him again, wasn't expecting to either, its when they actually write I'm surprised. Well, dinner was ready, and so was I, to eat. I finished went upstairs played some games and then went to bed. It was the summer vacation so I didn't exactly have to worry about school the next day. I woke the next morning because of the sun on my face, I hadn't seen it last night but I had big window in my room, which interestingly gave me a straight good view of a bedroom of my neighbor's house. I stood there by the window looking out to see what the day was like, just in case I do decide to explore the place. What I didn't expect to see was the man next door, or at least his back. He was moving around in a towel looking for something. I tried not to be a peeking tom but it was hard. From what I saw this guy had a back of an Adonis. And just as if God knew what I was thinking, the guy's towel fell off, but apparently he caught it too quickly not giving me anything more than a quick glimpse of his of so cute behind. Well, no use "window-shopping" I thought, I headed downstairs for a shower and breakfast. I had some friendly chat with my parents about the place and what school I'd be going to (or what kind of bullies I'd be facing, yup I'm a walkover doormat) My Dad left for work, and soon my Mom got ready to leave too, she said she had to buy some supplies for the house, though I wasn't paying much attention. She said she'd be 2 hours or so and gave me the usual safety lecture and the "be good" speech. She left and I was home alone, I turned on the TV, but the cable wasn't connected yet, so much for quality entertainment, yeah right! So went upstairs and turned on the PC and started on some games, but soon I got bored too. I was just about to connect to the net just when the doorbell rang, it had just been over 45 minutes since Mom left, and she said she wouldn't be back for 2 hours. I ran downstairs and slowly opened the door. There he was, I'd say 25 something and cute as hell, I was certain he was going to ask for directions so I just blurted out, "I'm sorry I'm new here, I don't know anything about this place" he said, "I know, Ian isn't it? Umm I'm your new neighbor. Your Mom stopped by earlier to ask me to check on you after some time. So, you need anything I'm right next door" I told him I was okay and thanked him and then he turned around to leave and I knew instantly that he was the guy I saw in the morning. I thanked God and closed the door. To be Continued... Please give me some feedback on this chapter and tell me if you want more of this. You can mail me on kamguy@alexandria.cc
