~ PART TEN ~

Chapter One

About twenty minutes after leaving the caravan park and after pulling up at one of the small corner-stores on the edge of town to pick up some eats for the day, we pulled into Diggers Cove.

It was a quiet little place out on the south side of town and was one of the few designated nudist beaches that we had in the area. It was also the one beach in the area that most of the gay population tended to visit.

Weekends were when it was usually busiest, when it was mainly frequented by people from Macquarie Harbour as it was actually closer to that city than it was to Thompsonville. On week days though, it was usually fairly quiet and today was no exception, with only one other car being visible when we pulled into the parking lot.

As we had driven into the place I made sure that I had looked across at Justin when we had passed the sign at the entrance, to see what his reaction would be when he found out it was a nudist beach.

"Bloody hell! I haven't ever been on one of these before," he had said. "And how often do you come here then?"

"This is the first time in ages," I replied, truthfully. "I figured that today was as good a day as any to give it another go."

"Works for me," he remarked, with a sly grin, as I pulled the old truck to a stop in the shade of a clump of Silky Oaks.

We sat there for a few minutes looking at the pristine beach which stretched before us between two headlands, just watching the constant procession of waves rolling in and trying to see if we could spot the occupants of the other vehicle, although there was no sign of them anywhere.

"Maybe they're off in the bushes somewhere having a quickie?" I said.

"Well, it's a nice enough spot for it," Justin remarked, while sliding over on the seat to be closer to me and placing his hand on my bare leg.

It was amazing to me how quickly we were settling into this newfound familiarity with each other. It was like we had been together for years, and had always been like this. Placing my hand over his I gave him a gentle squeeze, then brought it up to my lips and kissed him.

"How about we find all about how nice a spot it is later on?" I said to him. "Right now all I want to see is you, naked and in the water."

"Is that all?"

"Well, for now anyway," I replied, kissing him again before then opening the door of the truck. "Like I said, the rest can wait `til later!"

"I'm gonna hold you to that," he said to me, as he followed me out the drivers door.

We were standing between the truck and the grove of trees and so we just stood there for a few seconds, looking around to see if we could see anyone else, but the place still seemed deserted. There was nobody around the lone car at the other end of the car park, and from what we could see there was no one in the water or on the beach.

"Well, I suppose it's now or never?" I said to Justin, as I turned and faced him.

"Yeah, I suppose it is," he answered, looking a little uncertain about the prospect of stripping off.

"Relax mate," I whispered, trying to reassure him. "Everyone who comes here comes here to get naked. It's not like they won't have seen it before!"

"Yeah, I suppose that's true."

"And besides," I added. "We're the only people here . . . well, that we can see anyway. So it's not like anyone is going to be perving on you or anything . . . except me, of course."

"Oh, very cute!"

Hooking a finger through the neck of his tank-top, I pulled him to me.

"How about I try and make it easy for you?" I said to him.

"And just how do you plan to do that?"

Without answering him I reached down and took hold of each side of his top, and started pulling it upwards, with him raising his arms for me as I did so and allowing it to pass easily over his head.

"See . . . just like that," I said to him.

As I tossed his top into the back of the truck, Justin reached forward and started to undo the buttons of my shirt, his actions slow and deliberate and his eyes holding mine for the entire time.

After undoing the last button he slid his hands over my shoulders, passing them beneath the thin fabric and allowing he to feel his warm touch, then pulling the shirt down the length of my arms until I was free of them, before tossing it into the back of the truck with his own top.

"Is that about it?" he asked.

"You're getting the hang of it," I replied. "Now comes the hard part."

"Well, not yet it's not, but give me a few minutes will you?"

"Hmmm . . . looks like I'll just have to see what I can do about that then," I said to him, as I knelt down to where I was eye level with his groin and hooking my thumbs into the waist-band of his shorts, before then starting to tug at them.

I looked up and could see that Justin was grinning at me and as I pulled slowly on his clothes it wasn't long before we soon came to the hard part we had spoken about. We quickly managed to pass that hurdle however, and before long he ended up with his shorts down around his ankles and placing his hands on my shoulders to balance himself. As he tried to step out of his clothing, with his rapidly hardening cock waving in my face, he started giggling, which I have to admit was a habit that was becoming infectious.

As tempted as I was to just wrap my lips around him, I somehow managed to resist that urge and climbed back to my feet, while running my fingers gently over his abdomen and chest, before finally cupping his face in my hands.

"It must be your turn now?" he said to me.

"I suppose it is," I replied.

"You think you're ready for it?"

"Maybe," I shrugged.

"C'mon, get a little bit excited won't ya?"

"Oh mate, I think I'm excited enough already," I remarked, before taking one of his hands and placing it over the zipper of my shorts.

"Oh, so you are then!" Justin replied, before starting to rub me up and down.

"Hey. Easy does it there Tiger," I had to say. "Let's save the fun stuff for later, eh?"

"Whatever you say, boss," he replied, before dropping to his knees and burying his face in my groin.

Chapter Two

It felt rather strange, yet at the same time quite comforting and natural, as we walked down to the waters' edge a few minutes later. We were both as naked as we had been on the day we were born, feeling as if we were the last two people left alive on the planet, yet both of us were safe and secure in the knowledge that each was there for the other.

Justin reached out his hand toward me and I immediately took it in mine, looking across at him and into his eyes as I did so and receiving a grateful smile in return.

"You want to know something?" he asked me, as we made our first tentative steps into the cool waters of the Pacific Ocean, feeling it's waves wash against us and leaving us slightly unsteady on our feet as we stood in the shifting sands, with the water rushing back out again.

"What's that babe?" I replied.

"Well, it's kind of hard to explain, but it's just hit me. Up until this very minute . . . I really haven't lived! I mean, I've spent eighteen years being too afraid to be myself. But as from today, I reckon that has all changed, hasn't it?"

"I certainly hope so, Jay. You are your own man now, and I want you to remember that."

"Aren't I your man though?"

"Mate, you are however you want to be," I answered, while taking both of his hands in mine and turning to face him, holding our hands together between us at chest height. "Justin, I hope and pray that you'll be a part of my life for a long, long while to come. One thing that we can be certain of though, is that from this day forward, no matter what may happen, both of our lives are going to be changed forever. We will both be learning to live again, and there is so much that we will both now be experiencing together for the first time."

"Yeah, I guess there is," he replied.

"All we can do is just take each day as it comes. One day at a time and all that! No matter what happens, you just remember that, alright?"

"I will," he answered, before putting his arms around me and hugging me.

"What was that for?" I asked him when he had let go of me, being surprised by such an instant and open show of affection from him.

"Because I felt like it," he answered.

"Well, here's something that I feel like," I said to him, while pulling him to me and kissing him firmly on the lips.

He kissed me back also, leaning his body into mine, opening his mouth and eagerly accepting my probing, while the waves continued to wash against us. We were both totally oblivious to anything that may be going on around us and when we finally separated we continued to gaze into each other's eyes for a long stretch, both content just to be held by the other.

"You know, we can't stand here like this all day," I finally said to him.

"Yeah, I know."

"How about we go for a swim then?" I asked. "Then after that, well . . ."

"Sounds fine by me," he said, cutting me short.

"Yeah, I reckoned it might."

I let go of him, then took one of his hands in mine and turned my body, while at the same time trying to move my feet. Nothing happened. Justin tried to do the same, but it seemed he was stuck fast also. We had both become trapped by the shifting sands beneath our feet, which had been moved by the waves as they flowed in and then rushed back out to sea.

"Bloody hell, we're stuck," I laughed, knowing that all that had happened was that we had sunk a few inches into the mire.

"Well, we're going to have to get ourselves out, you know!" Justin giggled.

"Yeah, I suppose we are."

"Stand still will you and let me lean against you. I'll try and step out of it," he said.

"Well, I don't think I'm going anywhere in a hurry, mate!"

"Good. Now stand still!"

Putting his hands on my shoulders and balancing himself against me, Justin started lifting one leg, trying to drag his foot out of the sand. It wasn't easy, as the sand was so wet and gluggy, but he eventually managed to free himself . . . or partially free himself that is.

"OK then, now the other one," I said to him.

"Don't move then!"

He was standing slightly side on to me now, with one arm draped over my shoulder. Even if I could have moved, I wouldn't have wanted to.

When he finally dragged his foot free there was this loud sl-u-u-u-rp type of sound, as water and air rushed into the sandy void from which he had extracted his foot, which only caused us both to giggle. For some reason I was feeling like a teenager again, although I guessed that probably had something to do with the fact that I was falling in love with one.

"Alright. It's your turn now," Justin said to me. "Lean on me and I'll hold you up."

"Yeah, right!" I said to him.

"C'mon Scott. Trust me a little will you!"

"Of course I trust you," I replied, while giving him what was obviously an unconvincing look of reassurance, judging by the look he gave me back.

"Just lean on me and pull a god-damn foot out of the bloody sand will you!"

Doing as he said, I put my arm around his shoulder and leant against him, however as I was a bit bigger than him I didn't really expect him to support all of my weight.

"Now lift your leg," he commanded me, so I tried to do just that, eventually hearing that same sl-u-u-u-rp sound as my right foot came free, which was once again followed by the pair of us giggling.

"See, it wasn't too hard now, was it? Now how about the other one."

It wasn't easy, but with a bit of effort I managed to get the other leg moving, while leaning heavily on Justin and thinking more about how nice it was to be in such close contact with him than I was about freeing myself from my sandy manacles. The suction that wet sand can have is just amazing however, and it took all my effort to try and drag my foot free. I guess that we must have sunk a little deeper than I had first thought?

"Man, you are stuck!" Justin said to me.

"Uh huh," I replied. "But we're nearly there. I can feel it coming free now."

Despite the constrictions of the wet sand, which felt like cold cement around my ankle, I could feel my foot gradually starting to move. It was steady going and I found myself leaning heavily on Justin, which neither of us seemed to mind however.

"How about I give you a tug?" Justin asked me.

"Excuse me?"

"Not that type of tug!" he replied with a giggle. "How about I try and pull you out of the sand?"

Without waiting for an answer, he leaned forward and placed one hand behind the knee of the leg that was still stuck fast,

"Hmmmmm . . . I think I'd rather a different kind of tug."

"Can you think about anything but your dick for just a few moments?"

"Hey, I'm standing naked, on a beach with a gorgeous guy . . . who also just happens to be in the same state of undress . . . we have our arms wrapped around each other! What the fuck else am I supposed to be thinking about?"

Justin looked up at me and smiled, then gave my leg another tug. I could see the mischievous gleam in his eye as he did so and was unprepared for what came next, when all in one motion my foot suddenly came free and I was turned and speared backwards into an incoming wave.

Justin landed directly on top of me, pinning me down while water rushed over the pair of us, then planted his lips directly over mine.

Pushing him away slightly, I managed to roll him over and land on top of him, this time pinning him to the sand.

"Hey, two can play that game," I said, then leant down and kissed him, only to be rolled over once more by Justin and be pinned to the sand with my arms somewhere above my head.

His hard young body was pressing down on mine and grinding into me, with his weight and his hands holding me down, while his tongue worked it's way down my throat. He was hungry for me, and I was no less hungry for him.

"You're out of your league now, mister," he managed to say after removing his mouth from mine for just long enough.

"Oh, you think so, do you?" I replied, before using all my strength to throw him off me and roll over onto him, pinning him just as he had pinned me. I was now grinding my hips into him, our bodies covered with sand and water, and our naked erections rubbing against each other in a way that defied description.

It was like we were the stars of an old black and white movie that I'd seen on TV once. I can't remember the name of it, nor can I remember who the actors were, but I can remember some big hunk of Hollywood superstar rolling around in the surf with his leading lady, with their lips locked together and waves washing over them. I think it was set in Hawaii.

"Don't you know that you'll never win?" Justin said to me, throwing me off him once more.

This time he didn't try to pin me down though, instead preferring to roll away, out of my reach, before getting to his feet and kicking a plume of water in my direction.

"Hey! No fair!" I called out to him, laughing.

"Hey! All's fair in love and war! Don't you know that?" he replied.

"Love, huh?"

"Could be," he answered, while kicking more water in my direction, then turning and running out from the beach, jumping over small waves and laughing like a five year-old.

"We'll see about that then!" I said, getting to my feet and taking off after him.

We crashed through the waves like a couple of children playing, then I saw him dive over a slightly larger wave before starting to swim.

"You bastard!" I called out to him, but I doubt if he heard me.

I had to wait until the next wave had crashed past me before I could dive and start swimming as well, and by that time he had something of a lead on me, although where we were racing to exactly I wasn't sure. I just knew I had to catch him. And after that? Well, he would pay for his playfulness.

Once we got out past the spot where the waves began to form, I found that there was a bit of a swell on the ocean and every now and then I would lose sight of Justin as he sprinted ahead of me, his competitive spirit obviously not wanting to let him be caught.

At first I wasn't too concerned, but then I started thinking about the danger that may lay ahead. This wasn't a patrolled beach and on more than one occasion there had been accidents here, with unwary swimmers getting caught in the offshore rips.

Worrying a little, I tried calling out to Justin, but the fact that he was swimming for all he was worth, plus the sounds of the ocean and the waves crashing on the beach just behind us, meant that there was little chance of him being able to hear me.

I had to catch him and stop him. That was all I could do.

When I found myself at the top of a swell a few moments later I looked frantically around to try and see him, but without any luck, so I swam on.

Now I really was getting worried.

The next time I felt the ocean start to rise beneath me I deliberately slowed, to give myself a chance to look around.

At first all I could see was the sparkling blue of the ocean, caped with small white peaks. But then I heard him. His voice instantly recognisable, and the panic in it unmistakable.

Frantically I looked around, but I couldn't see him. Then I heard him again. Looking in the direction from which I thought I heard his voice I couldn't see him at first, but then as the sea rose once more I spotted him, about thirty metres ahead of me, with one arm raised into the air, the standard sign of someone in distress.

I started swimming again for all I was worth, pausing a few moments later on the crest of the next swell and spotting him again, his face now etched with an expression of terror, but realising to my own horror that he was further away than he had been previously.

The ocean had him in his grasp once more. And once more, his only hope was me.

Now I had to make a decision and the way I saw it, I had no choice. I had to go after him once more, otherwise he would remain stuck in the currents and be dragged way out to sea.

Swimming as hard as I could in his direction, I knew it would only be a matter of time before I too felt the strength of the rip and the forces of nature that would try to take me over also. I hoped and prayed that Justin would be fighting those currents, and if he was, then chances were that he would probably be facing in my direction and trying to swim against the tide. I knew that would tire him out quite quickly, but I also knew that it would slow his progress slightly, which was the only chance I would have of catching up with him.

And catching up with him was something I simply had to!

Within a few more strokes I felt the first touch of what I now knew had hold of my lover. I wasn't swimming in calm water any more, I was being pulled at, gently at first, but the further I went, the stronger it became.

It was now or never, I thought, and so I stroked and kicked with all the effort I could muster, slicing through the water as fast as I could, using the force of the rip to help me go faster, and with each stroke bringing me closer to my boy.

As the sea continued to rise and fall I managed to catch occasional glimpses of Justin, with his figure growing slightly larger each time, but with the expression on his face growing no less calm.

There was no use my trying to call out to him. He wouldn't have been able to hear me anyway. `Just hang in there, mate,' I kept thinking to myself. `Just hang in there.'

The next time I spotted him I could see that he was struggling now. I could also see that he was facing in my direction and trying to swim toward me, against the current. That was what I wanted him to do, even though I knew that that would be the one thing that would tire him out the fastest, and if that happened, there would be little chance of getting him back to shore.

Gradually I could see that we were drawing closer together, but the distance still seemed far too great to me and I felt myself growing more and more desperate.

I had to get to Justin.

I just had to.

Chapter Three

It came as a huge relief when we finally found ourselves on the same wave, our fingers just feet apart, then inches apart, before finally touching.

As I had drawn closer to him I could hear his desperate pleas for my help, which simply spurred me on. I know that if I'd have lost him now I think I would have more than likely let the sea take me as well.

"I'm here now mate," I said to him as I clutched at his outstretched hands, then grasped him and held him close.

"Oh, Scott," he cried. "I don't want to die."

"You're not going to. I'm here for you. Just don't fight it," I said to him. "Try and relax for a few seconds."

"What?" he screamed.

"Just do what I tell you to do and we'll both get out of here. I promise you. First you have to catch your breath, then we'll be alright. I promise."

We were still being swept further and further away from the beach, and the longer we were out here for, the weaker that I knew we would both become. We had to get out of this rip, to where the seas were calmer, and the only way I knew to do that was to try and go sideways, across the current.

It took a few moments, but gradually he calmed down and we both managed to catch our breath, while we paddled as quietly as we could, wanting to stay afloat and that was all.

"We have to go sideways," I said to him, as we both spat out mouthfuls of salt water. "Let the current drag us along and just crab sideways as we're going, until we're out of the strongest part of it."

"You sure?"

"Yes mate. Just trust me, OK?"

He nodded, but judging by the look on his face I reckon he was having some serious doubts about my plan.

Together we started trying to swim across the rip, trying to expend as small an amount of energy as possible. It wasn't easy, as the current was tearing at us this way and that, and a couple of times I thought that both of us were about to get dragged under, but somehow we both managed to stay on the surface and keep going.

"We're only getting dragged further and further out to sea," he said to me.

He was right of course, but the current didn't seem quite as strong now, and so I told him so.

"Yeah, I suppose you're right."

"Just keep going. We'll be in calmer waters soon," I replied.

"I bloody hope so!"

I was thankful that despite his initial panic attack, Justin had managed to stay relatively calm and we were now making some progress. The further we went, the easier it was becoming and it was only a few minutes later that we miraculously found ourselves paddling in calm waters, rising and falling on a gentle swell, while sucking in huge lungs full of air.

"Well, that's better!" I said to him, once we'd both managed to calm back down.

"How can you be so bloody calm?" Justin asked me.

"I have no idea," I answered. "Now, are you ready to keep going? Let's head for the southern headland over there. It's the nearest point to us."

"OK," he replied.

Chapter Four

When we dragged our exhausted bodies from the water and slumped ourselves down on the sand, two surfer looking guys wearing fluoro board shorts came running down the beach towards us carrying towels, which they quickly wrapped around our shoulders and started making a fuss over us.

We managed to mumble our thanks, but the older looking one said not to talk, just to sit there and catch our breath. So that's what we tried to do.

"Man, that's a fuckin' miracle!" the younger one said. "We watched it all from up on the dunes! I ain't never seen anything like that!"

"Are you guys alright?" the older guy asked us, dropping onto one knee in front of us and looking concerned. "We've called the cops and the rescue people anyway . . . you know, just in case! I suppose we should phone them back and call off the re-inforcements? Or do you still need a doctor or someone?"

"No thanks. I think we're both fine," I answered. "But thanks anyway."

He nodded, then turned to his friend and said, "Run up and grab the phone will you Shawn? We better call in again and tell them everything is alright now."

"Sure thing, dude," he replied, before setting off at a run back up the beach toward the car park.

"Was that your car we saw up there earlier then?" I asked.

"Yeah," he answered. "We were . . . ummmm . . . off in the dunes when you arrived. The kid didn't want to come out of hiding until he was sure he couldn't be seen."

"That sounds familiar," I said, while glancing across at Justin and giving him a wry smile, to which he seemed to blush, then a frown creased his brow.

"Does that mean that you two are . . . ummm . . . gay?" he asked.

"What's wrong Jay? Didn't I tell you that this was the `unofficial' gay nudist beach?" I replied.

"Errr . . . no you didn't," he answered with a grin.

"Yeah, anyway, when we did come out, we noticed you down on the beach, so we watched for a while. That was quite a little show you guys put on!"

Justin's blush suddenly went about five shades deeper.

"I'm Ian, by the way," our good samaratin added, offering his hand.

"Scott," I replied, while shaking his hand. "And this is Justin."

"Well, looks like you guys just had a lucky escape then?"

"Tell us about it!" Justin said. "And if it wasn't for Scott keeping his cool out there, I reckon we'd both be in a fair bit of trouble about now."

"I'd agree with that," Ian replied. "You both sure you're alright though? Especially you, young fella."

"Yeah. I'm fine thanks. Totally buggered. But OK."

"That's good then," Ian said, while getting back to his feet.

I got to my feet also, and Justin soon followed, just as Shawn came running back down the beach toward us, handing the mobile phone to Ian when he reached us.

"I think the cavalry is on its way," he said to us. "I could hear a siren when I was up at the car, although it's still a long way off yet, I think."

"We better get you guys back up to your vehicle then, so you can at least pull some clothes on or something?" Ian said to us.

"Good idea," I replied.

Ian didn't bother to call off the emergency, seeing that the emergency services were within earshot anyhow, and so we wrapped the towels around us and headed up toward the car park, with Justin and I being flanked by our two new friends.

We chatted amongst ourselves as we went, finding out that they both lived in Macquarie Harbour and came out here pretty regularly, to swim and surf and fool around, or whatever took their fancy. We also told them where they could find us, and they promised to come up and see us at some stage soon.

As we walked up the dunes we could hear a siren drawing closer and we arrived at my truck just in time to pull our shorts back on before a police car and an ambulance came screaming in through the entrance, then moments later coming to a stop amidst a swirl of dust, just metres from us. Two police men and two ambulance officers soon piled out of the vehicles.

"So, where's the emergency?" a young policeman asked.

"Seems it was a false alarm, officer," Ian said to him, then pointing toward Justin he added, "I called it in, this young guy got caught in the rip, but his friend managed to get him out OK. We were going to call back and let you know, but you guys were almost here anyway – we could hear your sirens!"

Judging by the look on all four faces I don't think he was believed.

"It's true, officer," Justin said to him, which I have to admit really surprised me. "I was swimming and went out too far. If Scott hadn't been there I would have been taken right out to sea."

"I see. And just how old are you, son?" the policeman said, looking Justin up and down, before then turning his attention to me.

"He's old enough to be here," I answered.

"I'm eighteen," Justin added.

"I see," said the second policeman. "You guys got any ID on you? I think that maybe we better write up a report on this."

"What for?" Ian asked.

"Standard practice, sir," he replied.

"Well then," one of the ambulance officers said. "If you're going to keep them here long enough to get everyone's details and write up their statements, we'd best check this young guy over. Is that OK with you?"

Chapter Five

It was almost an hour later before we were allowed to leave, and that was only after Justin and I were both checked over by the ambulance officers and all four of us were made give our names and addresses to the police, along with our version of events.

I can honestly say that it was the first time that I'd ever been treated like I was a criminal just because of who I was and where I was. I think it was hardest on Justin though, mainly because he had never experienced anything like that, or at least, not when he'd actually been innocent of any wrong doing!

It was obvious to us all that our friendly neighbourhood police officers were not impressed about being called out to a gay nudist beach in the first place, but to find that it was a false alarm anyway, well, that only served to get us off onto the wrong foot with them right from the start. What followed then was our day being topped right off by our being given a lecture about causing public mischief and what the penalties for it were!

So much for my idea of having a nice day and a bit of fun at the beach with Justin!

On the way home, after saying our farewells to Ian and Shawn, Jay was particularly quiet.

"Are you alright, mate?" I asked him once we got back out onto the open road.

"Yeah, I guess so," he answered. "I'm sorry I totally fucked up your day. I know you wanted us to have a good time."

"Hey! You have nothing to be sorry for! It's not your fault those cops were assholes, and you remember that!"

"Maybe," he replied. "But it's not just them, it's everything. I mean, if I hadn't have got myself into trouble in the first place, they wouldn't have been called anyhow!"

"Mate, that's beside the point. I'm serious about what I said though. I don't want you getting all down in the mouth about what happened today. Just try and forget about it, alright?"

"Yeah, I'll try."

"Good! Now there's something else I have to tell you!

"Yeah? What's that?"

"Man, you're gonna have to stop doing that to me, you know? I don't know how many more times I can do this Superman thing!"

He looked across at me, his face contorted with worry, but when he saw me grinning at him he realised I was only kidding, then he smiled and said, "Sorry babe. I guess I'll have to stick to the baby pool from now on, hey?"

"Lets not be rash now," I replied. "I reckon I might just have to keep a closer eye on you, that's all. You know, like not let you out of my sight for a while!"

"I think I'd like that," he remarked, before then sliding his hand across the seat and onto my bare leg, which was where it stayed until we pulled into the carport at the caravan park about fifteen minutes later.

"So, how was your day?" Sally asked us as we climbed the steps up onto the verandah, where she met us.

"Uneventful," I said to her, while lying through my teeth. "How was yours?"

"Pretty much the same," she replied. "A couple of travellers booked in for the night, that's about it."

"Uh huh."

"Did you get everything you needed in town then?" she asked me, without even trying to mask the sarcasm in her voice.

"Nope," I replied flatly. "We'll have to go back later in the week."

"Alight then," she remarked, giving me a conspiratorial wink. "Well, seeing as you guys are back, I might head off then, if that's alright with you?"

"Yeah, sure," I answered. "And hey . . . thanks for keeping an eye on things."

"No problem, Scott. I'll see you guys tomorrow then, huh?"

"Sure," I replied, as Sally turned and headed back inside, leaving us standing there and watching her retreating back.

"She's figured us out already hasn't she?" Justin asked after she was gone.

"Most likely," I replied. "Why? Does that worry you?"

He simply shook his head, then said, "No, not any more, I don't think."

"She's bound to put two and two together, mate. I mean, despite her wise cracks the other morning and then me telling her that there was nothing to tell, she's not stupid. She already knows that I'm gay, and now I have a gorgeous eighteen year old going to be living with me. What else is she supposed to think?"

"Yeah, I suppose you're right."

"I wouldn't let it worry you though. Even if she has figured it out, she knows it's more than her job is worth to go gossiping to anyone. For all her faults, that's one thing she won't do."

"It feels strange, you know, knowing that someone else actually knows that about me . . . but I guess I'll get used to it."

"You will mate. You will."

Chapter Six

The rest of the afternoon was uneventful, part of which I spent doing the menial jobs that always needed to be done around the caravan park, while Justin spent some time indoors, mainly unpacking his suitcase and putting his clothes into the cupboards in the spare room.

We discussed what our living arrangements would be, for the time being at least, and we both thought that would be the best thing to do, just in case there was a surprise visit from anyone that we didn't want to find out just what was going on.

Justin seemed fairly quiet for most of the afternoon, which was understandable I suppose, considering the day that we had both had. I just hoped that he wouldn't prove to be one of those people that ended up spending too much time dwelling on every little thing that went wrong. I didn't think that that was the sort of person he was, but you never can tell. I figured that I would just have to try and make sure that somehow I was always there for him, no matter what may happen.

At sunset we sat on the verandah and watched the world go by, while simply chatting and enjoying a beer, which proved to be a really pleasant experience. I found that the more we talked the more I could relate to some of the things that had happened in his life and the closer I felt to him.

When the sun had gone down, leaving a crimson sky that glowed brightly beyond the mountains to the east of town, we finished our beers and then headed inside, before we found ourselves being eaten alive by mosquito's and sand fly's.

"Are you very hungry?" I asked him once we were safely inside.

"Not overly," he answered. "Do you want me to cook you something for dinner?"

"No, it's alright mate. I was just thinking about being lazy and grabbing us a pizza or something."

"I'll get it then," he remarked.

"No, that's alright, I'll go. You better wait here, just in case your folks call. They should be getting close to home by now."

"Yeah, I suppose I should."

"How about I order it and then head into town and pick it up? Then we might have an early night, eh?"

"Alright then," he replied. "That sounds good."

After looking up the number I dialled the local pizza place and placed an order.

"Do you want to try calling home and see if they got there OK?" I asked Justin.

"Yeah, I think I might. That way I'll get it out of the way, assuming they've made it home alright, and they... err... won't interupt anything later!" he replied.

"Alright then. The pizza will be ready in fifteen minutes, so I'll grab some cash and get going. I'll be back soon," I said to him.

"OK then."

"You sure you're alright mate?" I enquired.

"Yeah, of course. Just go and pick up the fucking pizza will you?"

Yeah. He was alright, I reckoned.

I picked the keys to the truck up off the table, gave Justin a quick kiss, then walked out to the truck and climbed in.

He waved to me from the open doorway as I backed out and so I waved back, then pointed the truck toward downtown Thompsonville.

Chapter Seven

When I arrived back at the house about twenty minutes later, the lights were on, but the sliding glass door, which opened out onto the verandah, was open.

Slightly irritated, because the house would by now most likely be filled with mosquitos, I walked inside and closed it behind me then put the pizza box and the truck keys down on the table.

"Are you there, Justin? I'm back," I called out.

There was no answer.

Slightly perplexed, I headed down the hall and checked the bedrooms and bathroom, calling out to him once more, but finding no sign of him there.

The worst kind of thoughts immediately started flashing through my mind. Had he run off? Had he headed back to the beach? Had he headed back to the pub for a quick score?

All of a sudden, I realised that I hadn't done what, that very day, I had promised him I would do. I had left him. I wasn't keeping a close eye on him.

With my heart starting to race I ran back down the hall and picked up the keys to the truck, then raced for the door, yanking it open and rushing outside, just as Justin was climbing the steps onto the verandah.

"What's wrong? You forget the garlic bread or something?" he said to me, stopping me in my tracks.

"You weren't . . ."

"What?"

"I . . . I couldn't find you," I said to him, suddenly feeling foolish.

"I was only changing a light bulb for old Mrs. Richards," he said to me. "She came up to the house just after you left. What? You didn't think I'd done a runner or something did you?"

"I . . . I . . ."

A huge grin broke over his face.

"Hey man, you've had your chance to get rid of me! You're stuck with me now!" he chirped.

"And thank Christ for that!" I replied, while walking straight over to him and hugging him, and not caring who may be watching.

"Now, did you get that pizza?" he asked when we parted. "Now I'm bloody starving!"

"Yeah mate, let's eat," I replied, while stepping aside to let him pass, then following him in through the glass door, one arm draped across his shoulders.

While he went to the bathroom and washed, I grabbed a couple of plates and glasses from the cupboard set them on the table, then flipped open the pizza box.

He had been right, he was starving and ended up demolishing almost the entire pizza on his own, while all I could do was just pick, having lost my appetite a short while earlier - at about the same time I felt the butterflies in my stomach while racing up the hall.

I didn't mind though. I was happy just to sit and watch him. Happy that he was here. That was all that mattered to me.

Chapter Eight

It was some time later when I switched off the light and walked over to my bed, standing directly in front of Justin where he was sitting on its' edge.

Instinctively he reached out and wrapped his arms around my waist, hugging me tightly and not letting go.

"Hey, what's this?" I asked softly, while rubbing his back gently with my hands.

"I can't believe how lucky I am to have you," he whispered into the darkness.

"And I can't believe how lucky I am that you are here," I replied.

"But if it wasn't for you, well, I wouldn't be here, would I? I wouldn't be anywhere right now! Except maybe . . ."

"Hey, stop thinking about that!" I ordered him, while dropping down onto my knees to be at eye level with him. "We're both safe, and that's all that matters."

"But today . . ."

"Ssshhhhh! No buts!" I said, cutting him short by placing a finger over his lips. "It's nobody's fault. It was just one of those things that can happen. It could have happened to anyone and it could have happened on any beach. All that matters now is that we're both here, and we still have each other."

"You don't think I'm a stupid little twat, then?"

"No mate. I'd never think that! And I don't want you thinking that," I replied. "Don't forget that you've just come out of one period of darkness. I don't want you falling back into another one!"

"I won't," he whispered.

"That's good," I said to him, before hugging him to me, with his face snuggled into the base of my neck.

It felt good to be holding him in my arms. It felt natural.

There was a time, which wasn't all that long ago, when doing this would still feel foreign to me, as if it were wrong, but now, with Justin in my arms, for the first time that I could remember everything felt perfect. Everything was as it should be.

I felt Justin shift in my arms, and I felt the touch of his lips on my bare neck, which sent a delightful shiver through my body. He was going slowly, gently caressing me with each soft kiss, and stirring emotions deep within me which I knew would be hard to control once awoken.

Tentatively I too kissed him on the neck, before both of us tilted our heads back and gazed into each others eyes, each seeing little in the darkness, but at the same time each seeing deep into the soul of the other.

"No more interruptions," he whispered.

"Not tonight babe," I replied.

I sensed, more than saw his smile, but that was soon forgotten as his lips met mine and he sucked the hot breath from me, leaving me feeling slightly light headed.

Eagerly I kissed him back. This was the moment we had both been waiting for, and we both knew that nothing was going to prevent what it was that we both wanted to happen.

Placing my hands under his elbows, I started to rise, gently lifting him up with me and allowing our mouths to stay locked together. We were standing now, still kissing each other, but now allowing our hands to roam, firstly onto each others abdomen, before simultaneously we both reached for the others waist.

We were both nervous about what it was that was coming, and we were both clumsy, trembling as I fumbled with the waistband of Justin's shorts, trying to hook my thumbs into it, as he struggled with the zipper of mine.

Nothing was said between us as we undressed each other. We both knew instinctively what the other wanted. We both knew that we had made it this far before. Now we would be going further.

When we were both standing naked in front of each other, feeling each other's breath on our skin, feeling the soft touch of each other's hands, we knew we were entering new territory in our relationship.

Slowly I turned Justin so that his back was to the bed, then kissing him lightly and with one hand in the small of his back, I pushed him backwards, going down with him and laying him on the bed.

My hands ran down his body and I felt his firmness, his youthful body smooth and inviting.

Gradually I let my lips wander from his, first kissing his neck, then his chest, my tongue lingering on each of his nipples and tantalising him.

I traced the firm contours of his stomach and kissed the shallow hollow of his navel, before moving further south and finding his throbbing manhood, inviting and welcoming.

I could taste also the remnants of the sea on his skin, as neither of us had showered since returning from the beach earlier that day, while the heady scent of sea salt and sweat sent my senses into overdrive.

As I had done before, I worked slowly on his erection, teasing first one side, then the other, while listening to Justin's soft moans. I rolled his balls over in my hand as I did so, gently pulling his scrotum away from his groin then releasing him.

"Oh man, that feels so good. Let me do it to you too, will you?" I heard him say, and so I shifted my body around to where he could go to work on me also.

I don't know how long it lasted for, but together we worked on each other's bodies, with first my trying something on Justin, then Justin repeating the same manoeuvre on me.

When I gently probed at his tender hole with my fingers for the first time, I felt his entire body flinch, but within seconds he too was probing at me. He was being shown how to pleasure someone and then he was trying out his newfound techniques. This was new territory for both student and teacher, yet they were lessons that would be remembered for a long while to come.

"Scott, I can't take this much more," I eventually heard him giggle. "I'm going to explode here in a minute."

"Well, if that's the case, we'd best do it right then," I replied.

"What do you mean?"

Letting go of him altogether, I sat up on the bed and reached for the top drawer beside my pillow, pulling from it several small packets, along with a small tube.

"What are you doing?" Justin asked me, by now sitting upright as well and unable to see much in the darkness.

When he heard the foil packet being opened I heard him say, "What's that," which was followed by, "Oh," when I rolled the condom over his erection.

"Are you sure you want me to?" he whispered.

"I've never been surer of anything," I replied. "Just do a little exploring first and then take your time. I'll be helping you."

"How?"

"Just trust me, alright?"

"Yeah, whatever you say."

Taking the lid off the tube of lubricant, I smeared some over myself, then over Justin, before laying face down on the bed, spreading my legs apart and allowing easy access.

"Are you ready?" he asked.

"I'm going to die of old age if you don't hurry up," I replied, which resulted in yet another giggle, but then I felt his warm touch as he placed a hand on my ass, letting his fingers slowly feel their way toward their destination.

"Nice and easy," I whispered as I felt him start to probe, first one finger, then another.

"How's that?" he asked me.

"Perfect so far," I replied. "Why don't you try another finger?"

He did just that, pushing another inside me and stretching me.

"Is that OK?"

"Yeah," I moaned, enjoying everything about his touch.

"Now what?"

"Just work things around a little," I said, so that was what he did, with me raising my hips slowly off the bed and rocking back toward him.

"Are you ready then?"

"Oh yeah mate. Just position yourself and I'll come up to meet you. Then when I say so, you'll be able to push forward, alright?"

"Uh huh," he replied, sounding a little nervous.

I felt the head of his cock push against me and I hardly had to move at all for him.

"That's perfect," I said to him.

"You sure?"

"Positive! Now as I back toward you, you push gently, alright?"

"OK."

I could hardly believe that this was happening this way. It was almost like we were the perfect fit for each other, for as I rose up to meet him, Justin slowly pushed forward.

I felt myself resist him, then I felt myself be stretched by him. I had dreamt and imagined this moment many times before, and when he entered me for the very first time, all those mirages and illusions of Justin that I had previously conjured up in my imagination were soon banished.

This was the real thing now. I could feel it. I could feel him. And as our bodies rocked back and forth in the darkness, working as one, each discovering the other in a way that we had only previously known in our dreams, I knew that I had finally found the person I would love for the rest of my days.
