Daily Life Chapter 9

From the Odd Mind of

Eric Murphey

Edited By

Zero Moss

Eric wakes up a few minutes before the alarm with Alejandro wrapped around him. He looks down and smiles at his little brown boy, sleeping and content. He gently rubs his back with his finger tips for a few minutes, enjoying the silky soft skin under his fingertips. He sighs and gives in to nature’s call. He slips out without waking his boy, and turns off the alarm on his phone. He heads to the bathroom and pees. He trims his beard super short using the close setting on the clippers and then shaves his neck and washes his face. When he heads back to his bedroom to get ready for work, Buddy is standing there looking at him.

"You need to go outside, Buddy?"

The dog wags his tail.

"Let me put on some pants first," he tells Buddy, who races out of the room.

Eric slips on pants and his house shoes, walks downstairs, and walks outside with Buddy who immediately finds a place to pee and is back in a few seconds.

"Bet you want something to eat too, huh?"

The dog wags his tail again.

"I’ll take that as a yes. You know you’re a lot like Alejandro when I first got him; he didn't talk either," Eric recalls, smiling.

They go inside and Buddy leads the way to the kitchen. He stops at his bowl and looks up with hopeful eyes. Eric scratches the top of his head.

"Your a good puppy, aren't you?"

Eric could swear that the dog smiled at him.

He gets the kibble and puts it in the bowl, then heads back upstairs leaving a crunching dog behind. He looks over and sees Alejandro is up and somewhere else because he isn't in the bed. He sits on his couch and hears his toilet flush, then sees his son reappear.

"Good morning, Alejandro. Did you sleep well?"

"Morning, Poppi," he answers. He nods his head and immediately cuddles up with Eric, which is his favorite thing to do when he first wakes up. Eric freely admits he loves it too.

Alejandro starts rubbing Eric's cock through his pants making it hard as stone. He is gently stroking him now and gets on his knees in front of Eric. He unzips Eric’s fly, releases Eric's hard cock, and quickly takes it in his mouth. He starts sucking the head like a sucker and tugs at Eric's pants. Eric lifts up and Alejandro pulls them down and off. He goes back to work on Eris cock head and is gently playing with his balls. It has been a good couple weeks since Eric has had anything done for him. Not that he hasn't done it for the boys; he just doesn't need payback for giving pleasure. But he doesn’t turn down reciprocation too often. It doesn't take Eric very long before he is panting because Alejandro is really working his cock like he knows Eric likes. Within a few minutes he is unloading into his boys mouth with a powerful cum. Just a bit slips from the corner of Alejandro's mouth as he swallows the gift. When Eric is done, Alejandro milks the rest from his cock and lets him go.

"Thank you, buddy."

Alejandro smiles and wipes the cum from the corner of his mouth and puts it in his mouth and looks at Eric.

"I love you, Poppi."

"I love you too, more than you can imagine."

"I can imagine pretty big."

"I know you can. Now come here and let me get you a cum."

"No, that's OK, Poppi. You got to go to work. You can't be late."

"No, we can't be. It’s almost time for you to be up anyway. I got some muffins in the bread box for you boys for breakfast. I got it with the insta thingy."

"Cart, Poppi."

"Yes Instacart. I got you apple and cinnamon because I know you love those."

Alejandro grins at how his Poppi is always doing things for him. He knows that no one in the world will ever love him like his Poppi. He knows Cindy loves him and will forever. But Poppi’s love is like what they say. Unconditional. He knows no matter what he does, no matter how bad it is, that his Poppi will love him until the day he dies and longer if there is a heaven.

"Thank you, Poppi."

"You’re very welcome. Now I got to get a move on or I will be late."

Alejandro walks out as Buddy is coming into the room, and the dog turns and follows him to his room. Eric smiles and wonders what that was about. But sometimes Alejandro or the boys will just surprise him and want to suck him off. With Tran he is more sexual than Joey and Alejandro because of his age. Ten year old boys are not the sex starved beings like fourteen year old boys. Sure they like it, but it isn't their every thought awake and asleep.

Eric slips on a t-shirt, socks and shoes and grabs a jacket. It’s a little chilly outside and he doesn't want to be cold, so he puts it on and heads to his McDonald's. When he gets there someone is in Chris's parking spot which he figured he would take. But it doesn't matter; he parks in the lot and walks in ten minutes early. He walks back to the office and sees a guy sitting at the desk.

"Hi, I'm Eric. Chris said he would leave a shirt for me."

"It’s about time you’re here; you’re fifty minutes late."

"I'm sorry, I thought Chris said seven."

"No, it was six and I had to do half your work."

"Oh, I do apologize. I guess I misunderstood or something."

"Don't let it happen again."

Eric looks at him like “Who the fuck do you think you are,” but lets it roll of his back. The guy looks at him.

"Well, what are you waiting for, get to work. I'm not paying you to sit around and stare at me like a numskull.

"My shirt," Eric says firmly.

He gestures to a table against the wall.

"It’s over there, now get to work."

Eric grabs a t-shirt from a pile and slips it over his and goes out on the line and looks around. He checks the line and thinks we need more round eggs so he gets a pan and adds a bit of water to keep them moist and walks over to the egg maker and starts cracking eggs with both hands. He has it loaded in seconds and then cleans the little mess he made. When they are done he puts them in the pan and sees an order up.

"Cool."

He quickly makes the Big Breakfast with hotcakes, sausage, and two sausage McMuffins and shoves it forward.

The young lady that is working front says, "Thank you, sir."

"All day every day. I'm Eric."

"I'm Penny," she grins.

"Pleased to meet you."

Eric is thinking apparently these people don't know who he is. This could be really super fun. Just a regular guy who’s working, not the big boss everyone is afraid of. He hates that he makes some people nervous. He doesn't intend to, it’s just that some people are always nervous in front of the boss. He gets and makes a dozen or so orders and it’s starting to get a little busy. He is running out of product and could use some help. He goes to the office door and opens it.

"I could use some help."

"I'm fucking busy. Next time knock on the door before you come in my office."

"What’s your name?" Eric asks firmly.

"The boss. Now get to work," he orders with a shitty tone.

"Really?"

"Do want to keep working here? Because we can make that change."

Eric sees the orders piling up. Customers first, then he will deal with this jerkoff later. He puts folded eggs in the microwave, loading them both. He pops two trays of McGriddles and a tray of biscuits into the oven. He quickly makes another tray of round eggs and starts hammering out the orders getting things as they get done and replacing what needs to be replaced. Eric is working his ass off and can't decide if he is loving it or hating it because the jerk in the office could and SHOULD come help. He decides he is loving it and just smiles and starts singing softly to himself one of Joey’s songs. At around 9:30 another worker shows up and starts backing up Eric and getting lunch things ready as well. Still no sign of the jerk off manager. There is a lull in the orders and Eric goes to the office. The manager is playing a game on his phone.

"You know, instead of playing on your phone you could come help us. I think that's what a manager should do. Is help his crew not waste his companies time and money playing on his stupid phone." Eric tells him very bluntly.

"You are so fucking fired."

"Let me tell you something......" Eric starts and is cut off.

"Get out of my store or I'm calling the cops. And leave the shirt."

Eric is absolutely livid. He sees nothing but red and this guy’s head with a target on it.

"Do you think you really want to fire me?" Eric says with eyebrows raised and his flesh burning from the blood making his face crimson.

"Get the fuck out of here old man. How bad did you fuck up your life that you have to work here at your age?"

Eric takes a deep breath.

"We will discuss this tomorrow," Eric says calmly.

"You show up here tomorrow, I will have your old ass locked up."

Eric walks out of the office and the kitchen. The new guy that came in to help looks at Eric when he walks by.

"That's Todd. He’s a real dick. I bet if Mr Murphey knew about this he would be fired, not you."

"Have you met him?" Eric asks, knowing good and well he hasn't. He is just curious about what people think of him.

"I wish. Everybody says he is super nice, and when he ran the store he was like Chris is. Always nice and quick to help out. Always there to listen if you have a problem and even quicker to pull out his wallet if it’s cash they need. Course you got to pay Chris back. But shoot when my girlfriend had a problem with the baby before she had him Chris told me to take as much time as I needed. That he would clear it with Mr Murphey and get me paid. He sure did man. I couldn't believe it."

Eric actually remembers the call with Chris from about three months ago.

"So is the baby fine?"

"Oh sure. We named him Christopher Eric."

"That’s a nice name."

"Yeah. ‘Christopher’ after Chris and I told him ‘Eric’ after the big boss and it kind of is in a way. But my dad’s name is Eric, too. So it’s kinda a two birds one stone thing. I got to get busy; the orders are stacking up."

"Here, I will help."

"I sure appreciate it. But you better not. Todd probably would have you arrested."

"You take care. Michael, wasn't it?"

The young man grins.

"Yeah. Hey man, don't let it get you down, you will find another job. You need a few dollars or something?" he says, reaching into his pocket and pulling out a small amount of cash. He peels off a $20 bill and hands it to Eric.

"I couldn't take your money. I'm fine really." Eric is just touched by this guy’s generosity to a relative stranger.

"No man, really, I insist. It’s hard out there now with gas prices what they are. Shoot if you even got a car. We just got one and it’s nice. But with gas and insurance. I wonder if I wasn't better off on the bus. The extra time with my girl and son is worth it though."

He shoves it in Eric's pocket not taking no for an answer and he starts making sandwiches again. Eric just stands there and looks at this kid with amazement in his eyes. He shakes his head and smiles. Man what a truly amazing guy this young man is.

Eric walks out to his car and gets in and drives to his tailor. When he walks in he is quickly greeted and he orders a shirt for later in the day to be embroidered. He goes back to the car and drives home. He has Maria coming next week since he will be home by the time the boys get home from school. She is looking forward to it as it seems the boys are. Even Tran is excited at her coming over, his desire to learn to make tamales being a primary reason.

Eric gets home and lets Buddy free from his crate area. Buddy is happy to see Eric and shows it by hopping and bouncing. Eric pets him and then they go out so Buddy can take care of business. This is more than a minute wait this time. When buddy is done he starts racing around the yard. Eric walks in the garage and grabs a tennis ball. Where it came from is beyond him because they don't play tennis. He thinks a minute. Maybe we should; it’s great exercise. He gets Buddy's attention and tosses the ball. Buddy races after it and slides in some leaves left over from fall and gets it and races back to Eric. His tail wagging so hard you can almost feel a breeze.

"Good boy," Eric tells him as he scratches his head. Buddy squeezes his eyes shut, loving the feeling.

He lets Eric have the ball back and off he goes again to chase it. Eric is having such great fun playing with the dog and hates it when his phone rings. Eric sees it’s Joy and smiles.

He answers it and she says to him, "Hey cock sucker, how you doing?"

"Tell me my boys are alright," he says quickly.

"If it was your boys I would drive there. No, it’s something else. Can you talk later? I may have a temporary placement for you."

"Tell me more."

"In a while. You’re working, right?"

"No. Actually not; I got fired."

Shes laughing at him.

"How the fuck did you get fired from the restaurant you own?"

"Didn't seem like it was that hard really. I will tell you about it when you get here."

"An hour good?"

"Sure I will make some lunch."

"Left over lasagna?" She asks with hope in her voice.

"I think I can manage that."

Eric and Buddy play until Joy gets there and Buddy is panting something fierce. But he is having a good time and when Joy pulls up he races over to her car to greet her. Eric wonders if this really the same dog who was cowering in the corner of a cage afraid of his own shadow?

Joy gets out and greets Buddy with some happy words and some loving strokes of his head and ears.

They go inside and Eric hears Buddy from the living room lapping up water. Eric starts to sit down.

"Oh I'm sorry, are you hungry now or you want a soda or something?"

"A ginger ale would be great."

"What’s with you nasty people and your ginger ale?"

"Why are you hating on ginger ale?"

"I don't hate it. I just think back to when I was a boy and got sick. Mom gave me ginger ale, so any time I drink it...." Eric shakes at the memory.

"I guess I get that." She gives him this one.

Eric goes and grabs a ginger ale for her and a Diet Coke for himself. He sees Buddy's bowl is empty, fills it up, and drops a couple of ice cubes in it. Buddy hasn't a clue what they are but he crunches one and decides he likes it and has the rest. Eric shakes his head and laughs.

"You are as crazy as a box of frogs. You fit in perfectly."

Buddy looks up at him crunching ice and wags his tail.

Eric chuckles again and walks out to the living room.

"What’s so funny?" Joy questions him.

"That goofy dog."

Eric hands her the ginger ale and he sits and then she tells him what’s going on. After she finishes twenty five minutes later, he looks at her and doesn't say a word. She waits five minutes for him to say something. Anything.

"Promise me you will at least think about it."

"I promise you that."

"Talk to the boys and see what they think."

"Absolutely not. Don't you dare mention it to them either."

She nods knowing he is serious.

Eric gets up from the couch and they walk into the kitchen. Eric makes them a salad and puts out ranch for her because it’s her favorite and Italian for him for the same reason. He does switch to balsamic vinaigrette from time to time, which happens to be Alejandro's and Tran’s favorite. Joey’s favorite is whatever is after the salad. He eats them but it’s not by choice. They sit and eat and have small talk about everything. Eric tells her how he got fired.

He tells her how he plans on handling it and she just giggles like she did when they were ten. She heads back to the office.

Eric is in his office going through his emails and business things when the boys get back from school. All three come in and sit down in front of him in the chairs, with Joey and Tran sharing one.

"So how was work? You have fun?" Tran asks.

Eric smiles.

"Funny you should ask. I got fired."

Looks of confusion took over their young faces and he explained.

"Oh, dad’s so gonna fire that guy."

"Yeah he is. Poppi ain't standing for that."

"No he isn't. Ba isn't that way."

"So what is it dad. What are you going to do?"

Eric tells them and they all agree its a good plan and Eric asks them.

"So what would you like for dinner?"

"Brisket!" Joey shouts.

"Brisket?" Eric laughs.

"Yeah, it sounds good."

"Joey, while I do agree it does sound good they take hours to cook. We also don't live in Texas where we could go out and buy one pre-made. So what other ideas do you have?"

"Pizza," Alejandro offers.

"We just had pizza, so no."

"We got leftover lasagna," Tran says.

"Now that is a good option, but the information you don't know is I had some for lunch with Joy."

"So that's out then,” Tran concludes.

"I know, let’s go to that Chinese place and I can get that tear drop soup that's so good," Joey suggests, smiling.

"It’s ‘egg drop’ and that sounds fine to me. Guys?" Eric asks.

They all nod in agreement, so Chinese food it is.

"Go get your homework done."

They all grab their backpacks and head upstairs to get it knocked out. Eric leans back in his chair and thinks about what Joy and he had discussed. He just can't decide what to do. He is going to have to think about it that's for sure. When the boys get done they go out to eat. Eric needs to stop and get his shirt anyway, so it just makes sense to do that. Once they arrive they go to the buffet and Tran hears the workers talking in Mandarin and are kind of excited. He smiles when he hears what they are talking about. He looks at Eric.

"Ba, can I have the keys to the Escalade for a second?"

"Sure. You aren't going cruising are you?" he asks with a smirk.

"No, Ba. I would never! Well OK, maybe if you let me. It’s a cool truck for sure."

Tran heads out and comes back after he gets what he wants and has put it in a bag. He takes a seat at the table and smiles when they waitress brings him a grape soda. His favorite this week. Maybe not next week but this week it is. He likes to change things up. They all just got the buffet so they can get what they want and how much. Joey and Alejandro always make Eric laugh because they get a mound of food, but it’s like fifteen different things with just a bit of each.

"Why do you get so many things?" he asks Joey.

"Cuz it’s all so good I never know what I want. So I just get it all."

"I can't argue with that logic."

"Don't see how," he says and takes a bite of beef and broccoli.

Eric takes a bite of the same because its one of his favorites. When Alejandro sits down Eric looks at his plate which is very similar to Joeys.

"Hey, what’s that?" Eric says pointing his fork at something on his plate.

"Sesame chicken."

"May I try a bite?"

"Poppi, you can have it all. I can get more."

"I just want to try it but thank you."

He takes a small bite.

"Wow, that's really good."

Alejandro quickly slides from his seat and is off and back with a plate of it for Eric.

"Here, Poppi."

"Thank you, but I could have done that."

"I got you blocked in. It’s easier for me."

Eric sees a few of the young waitresses looking their way and giggling a little. He wonders what that's about.

When they are full as ticks Tran looks over to Eric.

"Ba, I need to borrow a pen, sir."

Eric pulls a pen from his breast pocket and hands it to him. He starts making characters in Chinese. When he is done he pulls out a picture of the family that they use for press releases and things like that. He hands it all to Joey and says.

"Here, copy that exactly."

Joey shrugs and does as he is told. He writes the characters on the picture.

"Now sign it for them."

He shrugs again and does. Tran has everyone sign it after and when the waitress comes over she looks at them and giggles.

"Was everything good for you?" She asks in very accented English.

"Yes it was all very nice thank you. We love your almond cookies so much. The food is just a great bonus." Eric says, laughing.

Seeing as they all had about 4 cookies each she know he isn't lying that they like them.

Tran had slipped the photo in an envelope and hands it to her.

"I think your little brother will like this."

She opens it up.

"Oh you lovely boy you. How did you know?" She asks.

He answers in Mandarin.

"I heard you talking when we came in how your brother loves Joey and our family. How he wishes he could be in our family even though he loves his big sister very much."

"Oh you are sneaky. I didn't know you knew Mandarin."

"I was born in China, remember?" he tells her.

"I knew that, but I didn't figure you remembered any of it."

"A bit. I think I still sound like I'm a 5 year old boy when I'm speaking because that's pretty much when I stopped speaking it daily."

"You sound very nice, honestly. But I agree you do sound younger in your Chinese than you are. But it’s very good though. Proper wording."

Tran smiles.

"Thank you. Now I need to learn Spanish so I can understand what my dad and brothers are saying."

She laughs at this.

"Do they do it often?"

"Just around my birthday. They were planning the party right in front of me. I had no idea."

She laughs at this.

"So they are sneaky too?"

He laughs.

"You have no idea. Would you like a picture with us? We would be honored if you did."

"I would like that very much, but I was afraid to ask. You have already been generous.

"It’s no problem at all. If you want I can have my brother call yours, if you think he would like it."

Now the table is looking at her and Tran trying out figure out what they are talking about. He looks at the group.

"Come on guys. Her little brother is a big fan of Joey’s and he likes our family. She wants a picture with us," he explains in English.

"Absolutely. We would love to," Eric says with a smile. The boys all get up and they take a picture with her. She immediately texts it to her little brother. They are settling the bill when her phone rings and she glances at it.

"It’s my brother," she tells Tran in Mandarin.

"Here," he says holding out his hand.

"What’s his name?"

"Muchen."

He smiles, hits answer and starts speaking Chinese.

"Hello Muchen, it’s Tran. Your sister is busy right now. Is it OK if we talk a few minutes?"

A very excited boy who sounds about 7 or 8 answers back with a squeal of delight.

"No way is this Tran Murphey."

"Sure it is. Do you want to video?"

"Sure I do. Can I record it to show my friends?"

"If you want. I was wondering what size t-shirt you wear. We have a few in the car and I was going to give one to your sister for you."

"That would be so cool." He says in crystal clear English.

Tran talks to him a few minutes more on video chat and then they take their leave. Of course they leave a t-shirt for him with his sister.

When they get home they all get settled in for a movie in Eric's room. It seems to be what they do some evenings when everyone wants to be together but casual, meaning of course naked as jay birds. Joey on one side Tran on the other and Alejandro on his usual perch of Eric's lap. As they start watching Eric feels Alejandro start to rub his cock which became hard quickly. He feels him slowly stroking his cock and after a few minutes Alejandro slips off of his lap not saying a word and bends in front of him and starts to suck him off. Alejandro works fervently on his cock head like he knows Eric loves and within 4 minutes he is sucking his cock dry of the daddy juices it released.

"Dude, that was hot," Joey says to him.

"Yeah, I’ve never seen someone so intent on making someone cum so hard, except maybe Ba with us."

Eric is panting and enjoying the afterglow.

"Who else have you seen suck a cock?" Eric asks.

"No one, just like us guys and you know on the internet," Tran replies.

Alejandro releases Eric's cock when he can't get another drop, and without a word climbs back up on Eric's lap where he continues watching the movie like nothing happened, well, other than the boys’ dicks remaining hard as spikes. When the movie’s over, Eric tells the boys to go get showered and ready for bed. They all get up and head to their rooms. Eric showered when he got home because as much as he loves McDonald's, he doesn't want to smell like one when he isn't there.

Eric turns on the news to check and see what catastrophes have happened around the world. He watches a few minutes and then turns it off, disgusted by the way people act nowadays. Sure, in the past, people would argue about politics and things like that, but they didn't blatantly lie and tell conspiracy theories as truth. Eric has a theory that the real head of Q is a couple of stoned 16-year-olds who thought one day it would be hilarious to come up with an out of this world crazy conspiracy and see if anyone believed it. He is sure that the government really knows who it is. With the technology they have he is certain of it. They just won't tell.

Eric gets up to pee and brush his teeth before bed, and returns to see Buddy's bed next to his and Alejandro in his bed smiling at him when he walks back in.

"I'm sleeping with you, Poppi."

"OK," Eric says, curious about what is going on in his little guy’s head. He knows if he is patient he will find out. He climbs into bed and Alejandro snuggles up to him and let’s out a contented sigh.

"I love you, little guy."

"I love you too, Poppi."

Eric checks his alarm even though he knows it’s set, but he is OCD about it. Eric thinks about what Joy talked about for a little while and felt Alejandro fall off into slumber. It took him a few more minutes, but he soon fell asleep with his boy in his loving arms.

So gee whats Eric going to do with Todd? I guess we will have to wait. I hate waiting. Waiting sucks and not in a way anyone likes.

I wanted to let you all know that I appreciate each and every email I get from you. It is always nice to get done working 14 hours straight and open a my emails and see someone appreciates me. So thank you for that.

OK in the story the boys are finishing up school. In rel life here in the States we are starting. My bank and Im sure many other places are collecting things for the children whose parents cant afford school supplies. Now me myself I just left Walmart after spending close to a C note. Man shit is expensive anymore. Im thinking as I go through where are the deals they always used to have with notebooks for like 20 cents. Yeah that shit ain't happening this year. The point of me telling you this isnt to brag Its to say if I can afford a little I know most of you can as well. Not all but most. So you are at the Walmart and you spend an extra ten or twenty dollrs getting a few things for some little boy or girl. It made me feel good knowing I am helping. Becuase isnt that what we are supposed to do is help each other? I always think its the right thing to do to help people. I always wonder if I got taken. But it doesnt matter because if I did then that is on them not me. I did what is right. I dont usually hand out money to guys on the freeway exits. I was homeless once a few years back. Not a great experience let me tell you. But I would hear guys talking about how much they got that day. It was usually at least a hundred dollars. Now to me thats a lot of money. When I was homeless it was like a million. So no I wont help them because I just feel like they are taking advantage of peoples kindness. I dont like that. It makes people bitter if they find out then wont help anyone. So yeah kind of went on about that. Help some children buy some notebooks and crayons and stuff.

Also help out Nifty if you can. I know I enjoy stories on here as well as you guys. Like say um let me think Counting by Tux in Young friends. If you havent read it yet. What are you waiting for? Stop reading this and go read it. Oh wait yeah doantion then read.
