It can not be placed on a for pay site. It is a fantasy, and is not about anyone real. It has minor characters, and is intended only for a mature audience. Comments are very welcome and appreciated at ZaneG7@excite.com Flames will go up in smoke. I would like to thank my two friends for inspiring me as always with their stories. I also want to note that it is disgraceful that real children come to any harm in this world. Children are the future. In a story however every character is just a reflection of the author, all of these characters are just part of my own imagination, and I am a wise enough reader to realize the same is true with each story I read so gratefully from other writers. I was in the mouth of the cave cornered like a rat, a fucking rat at the blind end of a maze. Was I acting like a man, No? I was whimpering and carrying on like a child. I found a lose piece of cement and threw it as hard as I could, crashing it into the tunnel ahead. I heard a voice behind me. "Kurt is he gone?" It was Sam. "What ever possessed him to go out into the tunnels by himself, to take care of a family of rats." I hammered out. "It was his pets, Nerof and Findara. It was their litter. He told me that he knew that their young had been born." Sam said. "Rats!!" "Sascha could tame anything from rats to men." Sam admitted "Where could he have gone? How long ago did he leave?" I growled. "About a half hour ago." Sam informed me. "Why didn't he wake me up then?" I exclaimed. "He said he'd be right back, listen I'll spread the word in the tunnels. Someone had to have seen him." Sam walked away back into the shadows of the cave. The homeless had their own grapevine, but I didn't have the patience to wait. I went blazing down the track and must have caught my foot on an out post, I fell headfirst into the canyon of the train bed, the books flew from my arm and I must have blacked out, when I came to I saw a boy standing beside me. "Sascha." I whispered through the hollow reed of my throat, I'm here. "Kurt, its Terry." "Terry! What are you doing here man. Look let me get up, I'm coming with you." "No Kurt you have to stay here. I just came to tell you that I'm all right. You have to stop this guilty stuff. It was my time when I left. I never planned to have a long life right from the start." "Did they hurt you, those men at the pier? oh Terry if only I had stayed." "No man, I happened that night, you don't need to know the details but I did a very stupid thing. I hated myself then and I didn't realize that you out grow the teenage crap where the world seems to have it in for you. When you turned away from the stuff I was doing, the kind of sex I needed, I didn't want to go on. I did it myself Kurt." "Oh Terry!" "Well you have a good life Kurt. Sometimes I watch you. And that soda thing man. It will turn out great. I know who Jake is. He is not who you would think. His soda company's profits are used to help homeless kids, make sure you do a good job with his ad. There's only one thing. Those pictures of yourself Kurt that are all over your house. They really have to go. Put a few up of Settrano instead." " Who's Settrano?" I asked "Settrano, named for the old one, the guardian of the South. Oh... you know him as Sascha. " My Sash, he's my angel. Is he all right too, do you know where he is?" " He'll be back. Take care of him Kurt. He is very special." "Where is he?" My mind cleared and I looked up into Terry's eyes, but it was no longer Terry standing before me." "Sash?" "I'm here Kurt, I just sent Yarrow on a what you call wild goose chase. He fell down on the tracks. He's gone." "So did I. I fell also, but I seem to be okay" "How could you have fallen. See the tracks are below us." I felt suddenly disoriented but my joy in seeing Sascha blew any lingering doubts from my mind. "I have your books Sash." "I know let's go home Kurt." "I plan to take you to your home! Where is your home anyway Sash?." "I never had a real home Kurt. For years I lived in one hotel room then another. Can I live with you in your home? I promise not to be a problem for you." "Oh Sash I can only dream of having you live with me." "It won't be a dream Kurt." And then we got up to go home. We went through the tunnels, into the light of Grand Central Station, as we walked past one of the homeless I reached in my pockets and felt a twenty-dollar bill. I reached over to place it in his hand." "Thank you he mumbled." "It's from Terry." I told him. "Then I took Sash home. Epilogue Some of my neighbors seemed to wonder how a boy came to live with me. Every weekday a private school bus stopped for him to drive him to Laltons Prep. He was so nicely mannered that when he explained to them that he was my nephew they had no doubt that he was telling the truth. I continued to run the agency, and was doing better at it since I was no longer pursuing the club scene at night. Len was happy now that he had Sash to mother, and my Great Dane, Aries seemed to love all the rat kin that moved in. He used to carry them around in his mouth. Sash was still a mystery to me in many ways, but I always knew that he loved me and sex with him was always sensational! He would still play his little games, and often strangers would arrive to play out one of his or my fantasies, but they are stories in themselves. I often wonder what exactly is in that book of his!!!! The End
