Chapter 2

I had an amazing sleep, I never woke even once to go peepee during the night, and I woke with a far wetter diaper than I know for a fact that I went to sleep in. It was glorious. I am in no hurry to change my diaper though, it is not so wet that I cannot enjoy it for at least another couple hours. I will likely change just before my meeting with Mica and his grandpa.

Because my room has a small kitchenette in it, I had bought myself a few groceries for having breakfast, and so I get myself something to eat, make myself a pot of tea, and play on the computer as I eat and drink. At just after eight, I thought it prudent to go ahead and clean up, change my diaper, get dressed, and so on. I left my cock cage on, why bother taking it off really, but changed into only a single thickness diaper, then got dressed, putting the most babyish diaper shirt on that I had. Of course I put an over shirt on.

At just a couple minutes to nine, I had a knock at the door. I steeled myself to the inevitable, and went and opened it. I was met with Mica and a man in his late sixties I figured.

“Good morning.” I said.

“Good morning. I've heard a lot about you.” Grandpa said.

“Likewise, I'm Alexander, but please, call me Xander, it's what I prefer.”

“Thanks Xander, I'm Michael. Clearly Mica was named after me.”

“Good to meet you Michael.”

“Come on in, have a seat.”

“Thanks. I hope you've been enjoying your stay in my funky and cool hotel.”

“I sure have, this place is amazing. You took it from the cusp of the garbage dump, and made it into this, that's great, and you did a great job with it.”

“Thanks. I hate seeing things go to waste, and this place had so much potential, I just couldn't let it get demolished. I had good people working on it for me though, and I spent a lot of money doing it, but in five years, it's already paid itself off, and is now finally turning a profit, so that's good.”

“That's very good. I wish my business had've started seeing a profit in only five years.”

“Mica tells me you have a cabinet making business, what on earth could've been such high overhead that you didn't turn a profit for more than that?”

“Five hundred thousand in specialized machinery that allow me to use only as little as fifteen workers to do the work of fifty. I have twenty on the production floor, and five in the office, plus me. It was damn near ten years with no actual profits after paying everything off, and then I've had the last two years of getting to actually finally put money in the bank, instead of always taking it out.”

“Ah, yes, that'd do it I suppose. Still, ten years, you must not've had very good bank rates if it took you that long to pay off that small amount of money, while running twenty five people. You had to have been busy.”

“Fuck, if you call five hundred thousand small money, I'd hate to see what you call big.” I laughed.

“Yeah, well, my budget for getting this hotel up and running was that, and that was a small one. One of the other hotels I bought, needed more than twice that, but I've made it a truly grand place, and rooms go for four times what these ones do, and it paid itself off in only four years.”

“Yikes.”

“Yes, well, I've gone bankrupt more times than I care to admit, I've nearly lost everything more than a dozen times over the years, but, the way I see it, it's only money, who cares.” He shrugged.

“Yeah, well, it was pretty lean for the first few years as I really got up and running, I ran with barely enough people to run the place, I did all the office work myself, I had no secretarial staff at all for the first three years, all that on top of the fact that I was constantly on the road getting customers. Granted, I still do that. I don't have a dedicated sales staff to do all that for me.”

“I know all about lean. There's been times where I've tightened my belt so much the front and back were damn near touching, but, I'm happy to say, I've never once laid an employee off. I've asked them to take pay cuts as well, so as to keep afloat, and we did, and then when we were back on our feet again, they got great bonuses.”

“There's not many bosses like you out there, and though I've never actually had to do anything like that, I'd like to think I'd do the same.”

“Happy employees stay, and they stay loyal. Treat them well, and you don't haveta do near as much.”

“True, and that's how I treat my people as well.”

“Good. So, what's your black number at the end of the year?”

“I cleared almost a hundred thousand last year.”

“Not bad, for a single business with that many employees. What's your operating expenses like?”

“The building I lease for five grand a month, I need twice the space, but can't possibly afford it. The cost of shop space in Vancouver is insane. I'm running nearly seven hundred a year on employees, and nearly a hundred on utilities and advertising. Then materials on top of all that at damn near a million last year, I'm shelling out damn near two million a year.”

“And your clean profit at the end is only a hundred thousand?”

“About that.”

“Yikes. No wonder you work so much. Something's not right. You should be clearing at least twice that, three times though would be better. You're either not charging enough, or you're paying too much for materials.”

“Sadly, both. In order to stay on top of the game, in a cut throat industry, I've hadta slash my prices. Even though I offer top quality, there's dozens of cheap guys who'll do shit work for nearly the same money, and people always complain about my prices.”

“Then, you Sir, are in the wrong business. There's no way I'd allow a company of mine to make such little profit on so much investment. I've sold off and or closed many a business that made me so little and gave me so much headache.”

“Yeah, but I've put everything into it.” I said in shock.

“So, it's only money, besides, it's paid you back, maybe not for all your time, but there comes a time in a mans life when he hasta say fuck it and cut his losses. Besides, I bet you could sell the business and get your money back out of it anyway.”

“I doubt it. My machinery is now twelve years old, and while still in excellent condition, it's outdated now.”

“Fair enough. I'm sure you could still sell the business, it's not that hard.”

“Why would I want to though.”

“Ah, if you don't know the answer to that by now, then I may as well just leave. We both know how much you want to move here and take Mica, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see how you look at him, and how he looks at you. I saw it instantly, as soon as you opened the door and saw him.”

“Yeah, but still, what do I do for money. I don't have enough saved up, and even if I sell my business, it's still not enough to live on. The island's every bit as expensive to live as the coast.”

“Fair enough, but Mica owns his own house, and it's stunning, so, really, you wouldn't haveta pay to live here. He has his own money as well, and what you bring to it will help as well.”

“He what?”

“He never told you?”

“He told me he has a trust fund, that's all.”

“Ah, Mica's got more money than you've sold in the last five years, not your profit, your sales.”

“You're shitting me, right?”

“Nope. When his father died, his insurance was paid to Mica, his mom didn't want it. Then when his mom died, everything that she had also became his, which included several million of her own, the huge ocean front property, as well as the apartment that he lives in in Vancouver. She also had four businesses, which I've ran for Mica, and made him decent money on, and from the management that I've done with his money, and what all he's done with it, because he's shockingly good in the stock market, we've made him lots more.”

“What, I enjoy it.” Mica grinned when I looked to him.

“Mica may've told you how smart he is, but I'm not sure he told you the whole truth.”

“The whole truth?” I asked warily.

“He should already be in university, but he refused. He was ready more than a year ago. He's already been offered a full scholarship at Royal Roads University here, as well as at UBC and a few others. He's not sure what he wants to take, but Royal Roads offers some good business classes that he'd be good in, and that's where I went. They really want him, but then, that may've been my doing, I gave them a couple million, and told them that my grandson would be coming soon, and that they'd better make sure that he got a good position.” He grinned.

“Oh. I can understand why he'd refuse to go yet.”

“Yes, I know. I went at the tender age of fifteen, and only because I too refused to go too fast.”

“Same. Everyone said I was wasting my talents, going to business school and cabinet making. I knew what I wanted to do though, I love working with wood. What's truly sad, I haven't actually touched a tool in probably five years or more.”

“Then, the house that Mica owns here might have a nice surprise for you. His mom was a master wood worker, one of her businesses was doing just that, she made all sorts of things, and only managed her other businesses, but had people running the day to day operations of them. Clearly I didn't keep her woodworking business going, since that was all her, and she did it all from home, and her shop there was truly spectacular.”

“Oh, really!”

“She may've been a female, but she was an amazing woodworker.”

“No, nothing against her being a female woodworker, far from it in fact. Two of the very best woodworkers I know are women, in fact, a couple of the only real friends I have, lesbians as well, by the way, and a couple. I was more intrigued by an amazing shop.” I had to laugh.

“Ah, I should've known.”

“Yeah, ever since high school wood shop, I've absolutely loved working with wood, and I actually do miss it. Running a business like I have been has been difficult, because I haven't gotten to truly enjoy what I do.”

“One must take time to enjoy himself or one will burn out. A bright light will burn out rather quickly if not shut down once in a while. Mica tells me this is your first vacation since you started your business.”

“Yeah, other than the odd weekend here and there, this is my first true vacation, really, since I was a kid.”

“That's not good. You're a business owner, that means you haveta take on a bit more responsibility, sure, but you should also have the freedom to do what you wanna do. If you don't wanna sell your business, find a good management team, have them run it for you, and let them take care of that. Two, or even three people should be doing what you're doing, just for managing, then you should probably have a sales team of at least four for the amount it sounds like you do. A proper sales team will actually drive up sales, because if they know what they're doing, the fact that you charge more, they know how to truly sell it. Right now, you're not. You're too emotionally involved to do it, as well, I think you're a softy, and when people balk at the price, you instantly cave and give it to them for far cheaper, instead of selling them on the high quality like you should be. If you're offering top quality products, at Ikea prices, no wonder you haven't been turning a profit, that's just not good business sense. You don't strike me as the sales type, which is probably why you've been struggling. You really should've had a dedicated sales team to run that for you.”

“No, you're definitely right about my not being a sales person, I actually hate doing it. I couldn't afford to, though, I barely had the money to pay for the production staff I had.”

“A good sales person will always pay for himself. I never suggest strictly commission base sales, but if they get a cut of what they sell, on top of their salary, then you're almost guaranteed success, because then they wanna sell, they wanna get those customers into their new kitchen. I have two sales and production businesses myself, so I do know what I'm talking about. For a business of your size, what I suggest is three sales staff, they'd clearly need cars and a gas card, they go to the customers, and sure, they'll see five or even ten times more people, probably each, but probably get only the same amount that you're getting now, but you'll make far more profit off them. Then I suggest a general manager to oversee everything, and a plant manager to take care of the shop, and maybe even a sales manager, but the general can usually do that in such a small business as well.”

“You're suggesting I hire another five people? Do you have any idea how hard it is finding just one person who actually wants to work right now?” I gasped.

“If you wanna keep the business, yes, though Mica doesn't wanna hear that. As for finding people, I know all too well the challenges of finding good people, have no fears. They're out there though, you just haveta entice them with the right bait. No, instead, I do actually suggest you sell and retire, do woodworking from home, sell your stuff in the city during tourist season, and you'll do quite well.”

“Not so sure I can do that.”

“Then go back home, become more and more miserable, lose Mica, of whom I know you need a great deal, and probably die of a heart attack in five years or less.” He shrugged.

“Gee, you paint such a rosy picture.” I had to laugh.

“Seen it happen far too many times. You're in your early thirties, and you already look extremely tired and worn, and you've been here for a few days already, relaxing and having fun. I've never, in my entire life, allowed myself to get that worn down. When I start to feel even remotely close to that, I step back and look at why, take the time needed to reflect, and then change what needs to be changed. I've sold businesses that caused that kinda headache, no one needs that.”

“What if I went home, got a sales team and a management team, then came back here and managed it from here.”

“It's not that far away, and I have a few businesses in Vancouver too, and with the right management team in place, it's shockingly easy. In each of my businesses, I might spend two days a month with, checking everything, talking to everyone, getting the low down as it were, making sure everything's running smoothly, so on and so forth. There's absolutely no reason at all that you couldn't do the same. A sales team like you want, you're gonna need to give them a base salary of roughly thirty five a year, plus two percent commission on all sales. Your management team, they're probably gonna need fifty. This means that you'd need to spend an extra two hundred plus thousand a year roughly, and the first year might be tight, but your sales should increase. By year two, you should be making more than you are now, with only two, or maybe three percent of the actual work done on your part.”

“Now, that sounds nice.”

“That's about all the time I put into each of my businesses. I handle the hard stuff, I take the monetary risks, but they do all the hard work for me. Oh, and you desperately need a good book keeper and an accountant. They're truly worth their weight in gold.”

“One of my office people is my book keeper, she takes care of keeping everything neat and tidy in my expenses for me, and I do have an accountant, only one who I could find, and I hate the guy, he's an arrogant prick, and I honestly don't think he's truly pulling his weight.”

“Then drop him like a disease, because that's what a bad accountant is to a business, a disease, and he will destroy your company. If he's doing his job well, he makes more money, because he's supposed to be paid on your profits, so, the more he helps you to profit, the more he makes at the end of the year too. I'll give you the name of my guy, he's fucking amazing.”

“Thanks, that'd be appreciated.”

“Speaking of your accountant, what do you pay in taxes?”

“Fucked if I know.”

“Why the hell not. You should know every number.”

“He never tells me any of that. The book keeper gives him the information, and he does with it all that he hasta, and then it's done.”

“He doesn't give you monthly, quarterly, and annual reports?”

“No, I get an annual one that tells me what my grand totals are on everything, and how much I actually made, but that's it.”

“Um, he's stealing from you then.”

“You think so.”

“I'd bet anything on it. Give me your books, I trust you have them with you, I never leave without mine, I'll find your missing money within a day, I guarantee it.”

“Okay.” He is right, I never leave without them, there is way too much valuable information in them, so I went and grabbed them and handed them over.

“Thanks. How many years is this for?”

“The last four.”

“Really, this is it?”

“Yes, why.”

“This is what my one years books look like, there's definitely missing information here. I'll find it, have no fears. Sadly the money's probably gone, you may never be able to get it back, but, at the very least, if I find that he's been stealing from you, he needs to be jailed and stopped. Jailed first.”

“Oh, I always thought there was a lot of information there.”

“Not enough. Now, will you take Mica with you then for the next month that it takes you to get everything transitioned and running smoothly?”

“P....Pardon me?”

“You heard me just fine. Look, we both know that you really want Mica to live with you, and I'm inclined to put him into your care, and I know it's what he truly wants. The fact that you both wanna fuck like bunnies truly doesn't bother me, I'm not so innocent in man boy love myself, I've dipped it into a couple fresh young hotties over the years, and I was a loved boy, so I know well who and what you are, and I have no problems with that. Of course, I know you're a virgin, and that Mica's far more experienced than you, so you're gonna haveta rein him in some and make him go slow, which he definitely doesn't wanna hear, but he hasta understand that he can't go too fast with you like he does his younger friends, because he'll hurt you too much if he does.”

“But....but.....but....”

“It's okay, I understand.”

“You never even asked me anything about myself though.”

“I find that I get a better feel for people if I find out how they operate a business. You've got a good and caring heart, you trust openly and fully, you're driven, and you're smart. What more is there to know.”

“Oh.”

“Exactly. Just from the questions I asked, I bet I know more about you than you know yourself. I've fired people from questions just like those. Trust me, I'm very good with people. I may be mentally unstable, if left unmedicated of course, but I'm good with people, and I'm highly schooled in management. I know how to get the most out of my people, and drive them to work their hardest, without burning them out. I make them want to succeed, because if they succeed, we all do. That's what you need to do, and I think that you already do, because you manage as many people as you do, and do a lot of builds, so that means they must enjoy working for you.”

“I try.”

“So, yeah, my next appointment is gonna be with Mica's loving aunt, and tell her that she's cut off, that she gets to move, and that I don't give a damn about her.” He grinned.

“Do I get to be there when you do it Grandpa?” Mica asked.

“Of course. A man never shirks from his duties, no matter how difficult they may be. It's you who gets to tell her all this, and Xander should be there as well.”

“Good.” Mica smiled brightly.

“Why should I be there, that's a family issue.”

“A; you're part of the family now, B; you need to learn how to deal with a situation like you're about to witness, because I have a feeling that you've never been part of what's gonna happen, C; Mica needs you there.”

“Oh, um, thanks. It's been too long since I had a family, but you're right, I don't like situations like that, I always try and find a more peaceable way to do that sorta thing.”

“That's good, but in this case, there's gonna be a lot of screaming, yelling, crying, and begging. Every year the money sop bitch asks for more and more money, when trust me, I know exactly what it should cost to raise Mica. His condo is paid for in full, the maintenance fees and all the utilities are paid by his trust fund, all she's supposed to pay for out of the money she gets is his food, clothes, and diapers, as well as a few other little things here and there. He can access his money for virtually anything he wants, she doesn't haveta take care of that. She gets three grand a month, the money she should haveta pay is maybe five hundred a month, at least for Mica's care, but I doubt she spends even that much. I have point blank refused to increase her living allowance for the past couple years. She's not gonna like that I'm cutting her off totally, she gets nothing at all any more, period.”

“Wow. That's what I pay myself, and I still pay for my apartment and everything else as well with that. Mind you, I did pay off my apartment last year, so now it's just the maintenance that I pay on it. What the hell could she spend that much money on?”

“Partying.” Mica said.

“Wow, never even been to a party.” I had to laugh again.

“Never was much of a partier myself, well, except sex parties, but those were far more fun.” Michael grinned.

“Definitely never been to one of them before.”

“Shame that, you really should've let go and got yourself well and truly fucked when you were younger.”

“I'll show you a party.” Mica grinned brightly.

“No you won't. Xander won't be ready for that sorta thing, and honestly, I doubt he's the type to want parties anyway.” Michael said.

“Yeah, I sorta figured the same, but I'll give him a party for two that'll blow his mind, and his cock.”

“Good, when he's ready for it, go for it.” Michael grinned evilly to me.

I can feel myself blushing, it feels like I am burning up. They both laughed at the look on my face, I can feel my chin somewhere around my feet, so I must look incredibly shocked. Never, and I do mean, NEVER, have I been talked to or about in this way.

“Well, you get to call your aunt and have her come here Mica. Tell her that it's important and that she hasta come now.”

“Okay.” He said, and then grabbed the phone and dialed his room number.

It took a while for the other end to be answered, because Mica held the phone for a good two minutes, letting it ring on the other end. Finally she picked up.

“Hi Aunt, it's Mica, I need you to come to room one sixty please, I have a bit of an emergency.”

I could hear her yelling, but not what she is saying. It took a good three minutes before Mica could talk again.

“I'm sorry to wake you, but it is after ten, and I have an emergency, you need to come here right now. I'm with Grandpa, I'm okay, but you haveta come right now.”

Another two minutes of yelling.

“Look, you can yell at me all you want, but you needta get here, right now. It's nice to know that my well being's at the top of your list though, honestly, telling me that you don't care if I'm alright or not. Now, come here.” Mica said, and then hung up.

“What'd she say?” Michael asked.

“When I said I was alright, she said she didn't give a damn if I'm alright or not, that it's early, and that I know better than to wake her up, for any reason, even if I'm bleeding out, I'm never to wake her up.”

“Really, she actually said that to you?” I gasped.

“Yeah, but I did wake her up, and trust me, she's not the nicest person when you wake her up. She's better when she gets to wake up at her own time, which is usually noonish. She's definitely not a morning person.” He laughed.

It was funny, because the entire time he talked to her, Mica just smiled softly, like nothing she said bothered him in the least. I would have been crying had I had to deal with that. I guess Mica really is stronger than I am.

It took a good twenty minutes for the knock to come, and while we waited, we talked and got to know each other. I did ask where Michael's nurse was, and he said she is just in the diner having coffee, but that she knows where to come if there's an emergency. Michael says that he has a button that he can push if he starts to feel something, but that he has been taking his medications regularly and rarely has melt downs, so he is reasonably safe.

“What the hell could've possibly been so important that you had to wake me at this god forsaken time.” She nearly yelled as soon as Mica opened the door.

“Please come in, have a seat, we need to talk.” Mica said, ignoring her soundly.

She said nothing, just came and sat down.

“So, you know I haven't been happy for a long time. You hate me, I don't particularly care for you, so, I finally found someone who does like me for more than three thousand a month. So, you're fired. No more money, you have two hours once we get back home to pack your things and leave my condo, and I never wish to hear from you again.” Mica said, and his warm smile never left his face.

As he spoke, her face went more and more ashen, and then she went bright red, and exploded. I wish I could say it was physically, though the mess would have been unpleasant, it would have probably been nicer than what she did next. She went on a full on ten minute long tirade, yelling at Mica, Michael, and even me, though I have no idea how I needed to be yelled at. Then she burst into tears, saying that we were going to ruin her, that she needed the money. Then she started begging, begging Mica to forgive her, Michael to give her her job back, but not me, since she does not even know me.

As soon as she was finished, Mica started up just as calmly.

“Sorry, too little, too late. You're fired. Just be thankful we're not charging you with mental abuse and all that. You're not a nice person, and I have no idea how someone like my mother, who was a great person, could've called you her best friend. I have no idea how you could've treated your best friends son like you did to me, but you did, so, now you're fired. No money, no home, no car, nothing is what you get from me. And, remember, it was MY money that you've been spending, and far too little of it on me. You are a leech, a parasite, a money sucking waste. We'll tell you when we're ready to leave, we'll go back home, then you'll pack and leave. If you attempt to leave and take the car, it'll be called in as stolen, and remember, it's in my name, the insurance in Grandpa's, and you will be jailed. The money you have in your personal account is all you currently have. I will come and gather all my things in a bit, but I'd rather you weren't there. Now, have a nice life.” He smiled so sweetly I damn near got a cavity.

Looking totally defeated, she rose and left, saying not one more word. As soon as she was gone, Mica went and hugged his grandpa and cried. I am glad that he did that. That cannot have been easy to do. Michael just gently rubbed Mica's back, saying and doing nothing other than hugging the cute little baby boy. When Mica was finished crying, he pushed away, and as he did so, Michael patted Mica's cute little soggy diapered bum, and I can see that he is wearing one, because during the hugs, Michael had pulled Mica's shirt up more than enough to expose a good bit of his diaper band, one of the ones I gave to him.

“You did very well Baby, you should be proud. It's hard to fire someone, especially after so many years. I know, technically she wasn't supposed to be your employee, but, in the end, that really is all she was, and a bad one at that. It had been necessary to keep her around though, but now you no longer need to.”

“Thanks, that was a lot harder than I thought it'd be, and it was a good thing I was wearing such a good thick baby diaper, 'cause I think I peepeed it lots and lots.” He giggled cutely.

“The first time's definitely the hardest, but I've never found that chore to be especially easy. I try hard to not get attached to my employees, but it's still hard sometimes, I sometimes can't help but to like them.”

“Yeah, I knew it wasn't gonna be easy, but still, it was harder than I thought. Oh well, it's done.”

“That it sure is.” Michael said, giving Mica one more hug and soggy baby diapered bum pat, then pushed him away, so that he could come sit back down.

Michael then turned to me. “So, what kind of living allowance do you want?”

“I'm not taking any of Mica's money, that wouldn't be right. The way I see it, we're gonna be living together, and by the sounds of it, eventually boyfriends too, even though I'm still absolutely certain that's a bad idea. As such, I shouldn't be paid to care for him, he can care for himself. The house is already paid for, so we can figure out a way to split the rest of the bills fairly evenly, and I don't plan on stopping work, I don't think I could, though I think a lot less hectic pace might not be so bad too.”

“That's exactly what I was hoping to hear. Mica has enough that he could pay a leech three thousand a month for the rest of his life and never haveta worry, but, why should he. You'll also have your own money, which is also good.”

“I'd never take advantage of anyone's money, no matter what. If he were younger, and did need me to care for him, and it caused me to not be able to work full time, then it'd be a different story, but nowhere near that much, and as soon as I could, I'd work full time again, or as close to it as possible.”

“I figured you for the type of person to do that. I truly have no idea what my daughter saw in Mica's supposed aunt, I never cared for her myself, but then, she made it plainly clear that she didn't like me at all, so that never helped.”

“Who knows.” Mica said.

“So, when will you head back then?” Michael asked.

“On one hand, I wanna stay gone for the entire two weeks, but, on the other, I really should go home and start getting everything in place. I think that's probably what I'll do, in which case, I might just take Mica this afternoon and catch one of the afternoon ferries back to the mainland and start getting everything in place.”

“You may as well, really. If everything goes well, you should be back in only a couple weeks, so not too long at all.”

“Exactly. Two of my guys I might just promote, and have them hire their replacements, they've been with me a long time, and they're the ones I pretty much left in charge anyway, I think they deserve it, and I'm certain they'll like the raises that'll come with it.”

“Always promote from within whenever possible, but only if they have the training to do so. Are either of them trained in management?”

“One, yes, the other, not too sure, but he's been with me from the start, and he's not that old, so I doubt it. He's the one I want running the production floor anyway, regardless of his training, he has a way with the others, he trains well, and he talks well.”

“Sometimes a people person is the best person for the job, regardless of training, and you seem to know and trust him well, but then, I think you trust too easily. That hasta be your call, of course. I recommend you ask him to take evening management courses, so that he can learn all that he won't already know. If you drop his salary a bit, but offer to pay for the schooling, he'd be stupid to pass it up.”

“That sounds like a brilliant idea actually. Thanks.”

“Like I said, promote from within, and if there are those who deserve it, but are not trained well enough, offer to train them, you get long time loyal employees that way. Make sure that you sign a contract with him though, if he doesn't pass the course, he won't be allowed to continue, until he does pass it, and that he has to sign on for a minimum of five years. I find that that's often a necessary contract to sign. What about sales people though?”

“Not a fucking clue. I suppose that I'll put an ad out as soon as I get home. I'll ask any of my other guys if they'd like to do that, since they know the product inside out, they'd probably do well with that. The problem, I doubt any of them are at all sales oriented, and I know from experience that that's not a job just anyone can do.”

“Make sure your new general and office managers do all the hiring, but you should be there as well to ask questions, but try and make them ask all the right questions, and if they miss something, then you step in. You now have to think of yourself as an owner, not a manager, that's their jobs from now on.”

“I remember some of that from my school days, and I remember thinking I'd easily be able to do that, but I totally didn't do any of it.” I had to laugh.

“No, I was the same, I made mistakes too, some of them cost me far too much money, but it's those mistakes that teach a fuck tonne. Lose a few hundred thousand, and that's a powerful teacher.”

“Yeah, and that reminds me, here's my card, with my cell phone number, so that you can call me once you have the information you're certain you'll find in my books, and don't forget to give me the card to your accountant.”

“Ah yes, let's trade cards then, I'll also give you mine, though Mica knows my numbers as well. And Mica, since you no longer live with IT, please get a cell phone.”

“Okay.”

“What, your aunt wouldn't let you get a cell phone?” I said.

“Nope, refused, said I didn't need or deserve one. Said she wouldn't allow me to have one, even if Grandpa bought it for me. Not really sure how she came to that conclusion, since it was my money that paid for all her things, but, whatever. I really never needed a cell phone anyway.”

“Well, now you do. We'll go get you your own today. We'll put it under my name, so that it'll be easier, but I trust we can just attach it to your bank account?”

“Yeah.” Both Mica and Michael said at the same time.

“Good. That'll make life way easier then. Well, I suppose that I should start getting packed and then go pay for my room, and we should probably get an early lunch before heading out.”

“You don't pay for your hotel stay, are you trying to insult me.” Michael said.

“Yes.” I said.

Michael laughed. “Nah, your bill's already been taken care of. No worries there, you're gonna take good care of my grandson, very good care if he has his way.”

“Mmmhmm.” Mica sighed, and I am pretty sure that I just saw the lump in the front of his pants grow, even though I know he is wearing a nice soggy diaper.

“Not for a long time.” I said.

“Yeah, three or four hours is gonna feel like forever.” Mica grinned naughtily to me.

“Try weeks, maybe even months.”

“Hmmph.” Is all he said, Michael laughed again.

“Keep him at bay, it'll be good for him to wait and not always get his way. Though he definitely doesn't wanna hear that.” Michael said.

“I plan to.”

“Better keep your bedroom door locked then.” Mica giggled.

“No shit.” Both Michael and I said at the same time, then we started laughing.

“Well, I do haveta get going. I'll head over to your room Mica and tell your aunt that you're gonna head out soon, and that she can go ahead and catch the first available ferry, and that she may as well start packing her things. I have a few other things to tell her, things that you don't want or need to hear. Once you two finish packing up here, then go over to your room and pack up, but maybe go for lunch first, so's to give us and her some time.”

“Oh, I almost wanna ask what you need to tell her that I don't need to hear.”

“Just things about her personal and private life that are only her concern, but that she made them mine as well, and those are demons that she hasta fight on her own. Besides, to a little gay baby boy like you, you definitely don't wanna hear some of the things I haveta say.”

“Oh, I think I understand some of what you're gonna say. I also think I know some of the other stuff, because I've suspected for a year or two already as well.”

“Yes, well, you'd have to be dense to not at least suspect it, but you're more than convinced, not suspecting, aren't you.”

“Yeah, just not sure which one.”

“Me neither. Not that it matters.”

“No, it really doesn't. I'm just glad that she was never allowed any direct access to my accounts, or she would've drained them.”

“I never trusted her, I would've never allowed her any access to your accounts, and I even had contingency plans in place should I die, she never would've gained access to your money.”

“Yeah, I know, I remember you telling her this once, she was super pissed that you'd say that so plainly to her. I wasn't supposed to hear, she'd told me to go to my room, but I knew that she was gonna ask you for money again, and I wanted to hear what you'd tell her. You were nearly brutal to her, you told her flat out that she didn't need or deserve more money than what you already allowed her, and that she's lucky to get that much. She tried telling you that she'd just drop me then, and you laughed, saying she wouldn't dare do that, because I'm her only income, and that if she wanted to quit, that she'd have no money.”

“Yeah, I could see your shadow there, I knew you were there, which was why I positioned us the way I did, so that she didn't see. I never said anything, because I felt it was something that you hadta know as well. Had you not heard, I would've told you anyway.”

“Oh, never thought of my shadow.” Mica laughed.

“Yes, well, I know how curious you are, and I know how smart you are, so therefore I knew you'd be smart enough to figure out what she wanted, and that you'd wanna hear my response.”

“Yeah. So, I guess I'll see you when we get back then, which hopefully won't be near as long since the last time I saw you.”

“Nah, I figure at most a month. Now, come give me hugs baby, and this time I do get to cradle your soggy baby bum.”

“Mmmhmm.”

Mica went and hugged his grandpa, and Michael really did cradle it, fondled it even, he is a dirty old man, I like him. They hugged for several minutes, and then they detached, and both have misty eyes, but neither are crying. They know that this time they will get to see each other far sooner than ever before, so it is making it far easier.

As soon as Michael was gone, I started packing up my things, Mica helping me where he could. I do not have a lot though, so it really does not take us all that long. Before we know it, we are ready to go, and so head out. We just go to the hotels diner, and have lunch there. Mica positioned himself where he can see his car, and told me when his aunt left, so that we knew that it was safe to go. Michael saw that we were in the diner, so came and sat with us as we finished eating.

“Okay, so, she's heading back now, I told her to clean up her stuff and only her stuff, leave the car keys on the counter, and then to leave. I gave her two weeks in my hotel there, so that she can find a job and an apartment of her own, but told her flat out that this would not be extended, and that if she did stay longer, that her next home would be jail, and that I was not going to go easy on her. Make sure and call me right away if there's anything that's missing. Okay.”

“Sounds good Grandpa.”

“Okay, I do haveta get going, so love you, have a good time, and see you in a few weeks or so.”

“Love you too Grandpa.” He said, and they hugged once more, then Michael was gone.

“Well, that went well, I suppose you could say, certainly not how I expected it to go, and now I have a little baby beast to take care of.” I grinned to Mica.

“I'll show you baby beast later.” He growled cutely to me, thankfully we are in the back corner, and there is no one nearby, since we are too early for the lunch crowd, and too late for the breakfast one, so there are only a half dozen or so others in the restaurant.

“I'll just bet you'll try, and I bet you went super hard again, didn't you.”

“God, I've barely gone soft since you opened the door this morning.”

“That I don't doubt in the least.” I laughed.

We chatted more as we finished our early lunch, then headed up to Mica's room and packed up his things. He too did not have a lot, and so this only took us a few minutes to do. As soon as we were ready to go, we headed out and packed everything into my car, where we had already stored all my things. We hopped in and headed to the ferry terminal. As we drove, we talked more and more, really and truly getting to know each other.

Sure, we know the things that truly make us alike, and those are the things that make us love each other, but we really hardly know each others tastes, and so we are learning all that now.

As we drove, we also figured out what to do with having two cars. Since mine is now a few years old, and Mica's is brand new again, he suggested I just sell mine and use his, and that if I paid for the fuel and maintenance on it, that that should be nice and even.

We did figure out who would pay for what, again, so that it was far more even. Neither of us felt that one or the other should have to pay for everything. If we are going to be a couple, and I know that it will happen soon, but hopefully not as soon as I know Mica wants it, then we do have to split costs on things, compromise on things, and this will be tough for both of us to start, neither one of us has ever had to actually do that, and I know that it will probably be harder on me to constantly ask someone elses opinion on things.

I am an adult, I have never had a significant other, and I have spent a lot of years telling many others how to do everything, and not very often accepting any arguments against. Of course I always listened to my employees, but most often, I wanted things done my way, though I did often adjust things to add efficiency when others pointed out other and or better ways to do things as well. I will have to be very careful not to do the same thing with Mica, and he knows that he has to do the same thing with me.

We ended up waiting for the next sailing, the previous one had just left minutes before we arrived, and so now we are very near the front of the line for the next one. Mica's aunt must be on that ferry, because Mica says that he does not see his car anywhere, so that is good, that will give her plenty of time. This gave us two hours to kill, and so we wandered around, chatting as we did so.

By the time the next ferry was just about to arrive, we both determined that we desperately needed soggy baby bum changes, and though Mica very much wanted for me to change him, and for he to change me, I would not allow it, and said that there is simply no way we could even do so anyway. I told him to go in first, and waited my turn. When he exited, I went in, and changed myself. As I went to throw out my soggy diaper, I saw his on the top, and I could not help myself, but I grabbed it, opened it up, and buried my nose into it and sniffed deeply his warm pissy scent.

And I just went impossibly hard.

When I exited the bathroom, and Mica saw me, I must have had a funny look on my face, because he looked at me shrewdly for a moment, then giggled, and grabbed my hand and led the way to the car, though he said nothing until we were back into the car, waiting.

“You sniffed my soggy baby diaper, didn't you?”

“Yeah, it smelled wonderful. How'd you know?”

“The look on your face when you exited, it'd looked like you'd just entered heaven.”

“That's pretty apt, actually.”

“Maybe later we can sniff each others soggy baby diapers, while we're still wearing them then. I love doing that with my friends.”

“As much as I'd love to do that, no. I know where it'll lead if we do that, same with changing each others soggy baby diapers, we simply can't do that yet. As it is, once we get home, I wanna be able to walk around in just my soggy baby diapers, and I'm sure you'll wanna do the same, but we simply can't do anything else yet. I'm just not ready for it yet.”

“I know, and I do wanna walk around in just my diapers as well. I hope you don't plan on taking too long though.”

“As long as it takes. You know what I just realized though, I have a one bedroom condo, where the hell are you gonna sleep.”

“I wanna sleep with you, but I know you're not ready for that yet, so in my bedroom, at my condo, you can take the other. We'll just live there.”

“You're right, I'm not, but I suppose that's as good a plan as any. I'll haveta clean out my place and get it ready to either sell or rent. I don't think I'll get what I paid out of it yet, I bought it too high, so maybe I'll just rent it if I'm allowed to.”

“Definitely rent it then.”

“Yeah, that's what I'm thinking, but I don't know if it's allowed or not, some buildings you can't.”

“Who cares, if they don't know, it can't hurt them.”

“True.”

We enjoyed the ferry ride back to the mainland, sitting in the car the entire time, not even bothering to go up top, why. In the car we have everything that we need, mostly each other, and we already have our peepee bathrooms attached, so we are all good there. I have never been one for being around a lot of people, so this suits me just fine. I had enjoyed the trip to the island, just because it had been years and years since I had last been on a boat, so I walked the outer decks for almost the entire ride, just enjoying it.

When we made it back, we went to my condo first, since it is closer. I am not in a huge or fancy place, by any stretch of the imagination, but it is nice, and I had bought it strictly because it had a pool and a hot tub, and it was on the third to top floor, floor twenty seven in my particular building, so I do have some nice views. Not ocean views or anything, far from it in fact, but I do get a glimpse of the river and the mountains.

“I like this place, it's nice and small, but your condo is actually pretty large, and it's really nice and bright, but then, you do have a nice corner unit, so you do get lotsa light.”

“Thanks. How big's your building if you think this is nice and small?”

“Forty eight stories.”

“Oh, where is it, you said it's up by Stanley Park?”

“Yeah, I overlook the park and the ocean. I'm on the top floor, so I have amazing views. My mom bought it during construction, paid so fucking much money, Grandpa called her a bonehead, but, like she said, within ten years, it'll be nearly double the price, and she wasn't wrong.”

“Why'd she buy it if she had a place in Victoria right on the ocean?”

“Mostly investment, but also as a vacation place really. Grandma and Grandpa also used to use it when they came to town for business, and so did my mom. She needed a place to dump and mostly secure several million dollars, from the way Grandpa explained it to me, and that was the most efficient way to do it.”

“Good grief. I can't even imagine doing something like that.”

“Yeah, well, me neither, to tell you the truth, but she was really smart with her money, though Grandpa tells me all the time that I'm even better. Not so sure of that most of the time, but I do enjoy playing the stock market, and have made some pretty decent money there. Granted, there was the one time I lost three hundred thousand in one day, but I made it back a few months later.”

“You lost and made that kinda money that fast, hell, you play with that kinda money?”

“Yeah, but Grandpa watches over everything I do, and he uses my methods on stuff as well, he says I've made him damn near as much money as all his businesses put together have.”

“Shit, maybe I'm gonna haveta give you some money to play with then.” I laughed.

“I'd love it, I'll make you as much as I can then.”

We went through my place and got together everything that I wanted to take to Mica's, and ended up having to make several trips, but eventually we got it all in the car. Realistically, I do not need all this, yet, and I will have to come back some time soon and finish cleaning it all, and then give it to a rental company to take care of all the rental stuff for me. It will just stay furnished, may as well, and that'll likely earn me even more money in the long run.

Finally we are on our way, and it is a long drive from my place to Mica's, and when he showed me which one, I damn near pissed myself. Oh wait, I did and do, continuously, oh shucks. We went in the entrance to the residential parking garage, and then he showed me to his spaces, he gets two, and his car is already parked there and waiting. That is good, but hopefully his aunt is gone.

As soon as we arrived to his apartment, we found that she is not there, which is great. Mica checked all the major things, and did not see anything missing that was of any real concern. I looked around as well, shocked by how large and beautiful his condo is compared to mine.

“Wow, this place is amazing.”

“Thanks, I've always liked it. Even though I hated living here, it was mostly because of my aunt.”

“Gee, I wonder why. Well, I think that we're probably gonna need to go grocery shopping, aren't we?”

“Yeah, you had about as much food in your place as we usually have here, but because we'd been going to Victoria for a week, we'd used up pretty much all the fresh stuff, and my aunt almost never kept stuff in the freezer. Then again, she rarely cooked too, and when she did, she bought what she needed that day.”

“Yeah, I remember you telling me all that on the trip here.”

“Oh yeah, I did tell you that, didn't I.” Mica giggled.

We had said a lot, so it is no surprise that a few small things might get misplaced. We got everything put away, then put together a quick list of things that we needed to get, then headed right back out again. Mica said we should take his car, so that I can get used to driving it. It is not exactly a massively expensive car or anything like that, but far more so than mine, I have Toyota, whereas his is a BMW. I have never driven such an expensive car before, but I must say, there is a difference.

We hit a few stores, grabbing all that we want and need, and because it had been decided that I would pay for groceries and supplies, just because it would make it easier, I paid for it all. To tell the truth, I think that the household bills and maintenance and whatnot will likely be far more expensive in the long run than groceries will, and I had told Mica this, but, like he said, he has a lot more money, and it is close enough that he is not worried about it.

We had just barely made it in the door with all our things, when Mica said, “Can we strip down to our soggy baby diapers now?”

“Oh gee, let me think on that one. Okay.” I grinned.

I am still not entirely convinced that I am ready to see Mica in nothing but his soggy diaper, but I desperately want to as well. I know that Mica wants to see me in the same way every bit as much, and so, standing barely a meter apart, facing each other, we start stripping, until we are standing there in only our diapers. I am painfully hard, and I am certain that Mica can see it, but then, I can see that so is he.

“My god, you're stunning.” I groaned.

“You're beautiful.” He sighed at almost the exact same time I had spoke.

“Thanks.” We both said.

“We better get all this put away before I attack and do something to you that neither of us'll regret in the morning, when we both finally wake up after passing out cold, probably from twenty or thirty cums.” Mica said.

“Not even sure that's possible, or survivable.” I said, though I have to admit, the way I feel right now, it just might be.

“Probably not, but admit that the thought sounds appealing to you.”

“More than just a little appealing, but we still can't. I want more than just sex, I want pure love, and while I'm falling head over heals in love with you, it's still too soon for that sorta thing.”

“Yeah, I know, and for once, that's what I want as well. I've fucked and been fucked so much it's not even funny, but never before have I wanted to make love, until you.”

“Glad that we're at least on the same page there.”

We went about getting everything all put away, and as we were doing so, I was trying to learn where everything goes, because it is an incredibly large kitchen, especially in comparison to what I am used to. As we did so, and then made dinner, we talked and laughed a lot, just getting to know each other even more. We are both shockingly similar in many ways, yet we are quite different in many others as well. That is good.

After dinner, we sat back and relaxed on the couch, Mica cuddled right into me the entire time that we watched TV. About half an hour in, I heard him sniffling, and when I asked him what was wrong, he said that nothing was wrong, everything was all right, and that for the first time since he was really young, he feels loved. His grandpa tries, he says, but because they only see each other a couple to a few times a year, and never for very long, nor ever with any real privacy, it is hard. Now he truly feels love, just cuddling up with me. Truth be told, I am feeling a little misty eyed from the loving feelings as well, because it has been far longer for me than it has been for him.

At just a few minutes after nine, we both claimed to be tired enough to go to bed. I already knew which bedroom was to be mine, and Mica never even suggested that we share. I did pick my baby boy up and cradled him under his wondrously soggy baby diapered bum, and hugged him tenderly, before setting him down and heading to bed.

Once in bed, I proceeded to fuck myself silly with my dildo, came three times, slurping up the treat every time, then I slipped my butt plug inside myself, slipped my cock cage and catheter back on and in, and then diapered myself up in my nice thick diaper with a doubler inside it. I cleaned up my mess, including taking the dildo to the bathroom and cleaning it really well, and since I was already in the bathroom, and there is a clean glass to do so, I grabbed a couple large glasses of water. Finally I headed to bed, and had an absolutely amazing sleep.
