If for some reason, you shouldn't be reading this, then don't, okay? If you do, neither I nor Nifty will be responsible if the bogey men catch up with you! As far as the story goes, this is crunch time. Nathan and Brad may try to look after Chris by keeping the Yardie Boys away from him, but they can't be around all the time; there's bound to be a showdown sooner or later, isn't there? I've been very grateful for all the feedback that I've had in recent weeks; it's been very encouraging. However, more is always welcome and I never fail to reply to it. So if you have not written before, or if you've not written for a while, please send your comments to pinkpanther2@hotmail.co.uk and I'll reply as soon as I can. CHAPTER TWENTY NINE Well, that was quite a week. I never imagined things would go as far as they did. Even so, I missed being able to hang out with Michael and the rest of the gang, you know, just to be an ordinary kid; I hope that gets sorted out soon. Daryl's okay, but apart from the sex he's not great company; well, not for me he isn't. The week finished well. At the Young Athletes League match we weren't against any of our major rivals. Me and Tom ran away from everyone in our race; I won in four minutes fifty eight with Tom running a fraction quicker than he did last time. The match was no contest; we won by over a hundred points. Still, it was good experience and I'm getting to know a few of the other boys; I feel more like I belong now. Nathan and Sam have been putting themselves around school just like Nathan said they would; Courtney hasn't been near me all day. Nathan will get his reward later; once they've shooed The Yardie Boys off the premises I'll follow him back home and let him fuck me stupid. I'm not sure if Sam knows about that part, but I won't be saying anything! I'd have preferred to go straight home and change out of my school uniform before going to Nathan's house, but it was what he suggested so I'm not objecting. I'll meet him by the main gate five minutes after school finishes and we'll take it from there. It's afternoon tutor group; we're given our school reports to take home. The school year is not quite over, but the year seven parents' evening is in two weeks time and we get our reports before that. The bell goes for the end of school and Mr. Sheridan sends us on our way. I stroll down to the gym corridor to check the team list for the match this Friday. It's not that I want to see my name; I'm interested in who else is on the team. I know some of the older boys compete for the club as well, but I don't know them yet; I want to see if I recognise any of the names. I study the list for a minute or two then check my watch. It's time to go. I head towards the playground without a care in the world; Nathan will have made sure that Courtney's well on his way by now. Only he hasn't. As I emerge from the building the three of them are heading right towards me; Nathan and Sam are nowhere! Shit! I can tell from the expression on Courtney's face that this is trouble. It was `cause of me he had to spend a week and a bit with Mr. Birkett. It's like he doesn't give a fuck what happens afterwards; he's going to get me back for it and he's going to do it now. If I'd made it to the middle of the playground I could outrun the lot of them, but I've hardly got out of the door; they've got me boxed in. "We've been waiting for you, batty boy!" he sneers. I don't say anything, just stare straight back at him. "You like suckin' dick, batty boy?" he asks. "You wanna suck my dick?" I still don't answer. "You lost your tongue, batty boy?" he snarls. "I asked if you wanna suck my dick!" "No!" I say emphatically. "Why not?" he asks, his tone getting even more aggressive. "You're a batty boy, everyone knows that! And batty boys suck dick; aint' that right boys?" I've had enough of this. "Yeah, I'm gay!" I snap back at him. "What the fuck's it got to do with you?" "Don't you diss me, batty boy!" he says, slapping me across the face. He's wearing a ring; that fuckin' hurts! "You ain't sayin' there's something wrong with my dick, are you?" he adds, daring me to say there is. I keep my mouth shut. "Well, that's good, `cause you're gonna suck it anyway!" he announces. Yeah, well that's what he thinks. If there's one dick in the whole world I don't want to suck, it's his. Last winter sometime James rented the film `Dirty Pretty Things' for us to watch while he was looking after me. If you've seen it you'll have a pretty good idea what I'm going to do. They push me into a corner; I look to see if there's a way out, but with three of them around me, there just isn't. Courtney grabs me by the shoulders and pushes me down. He's so much bigger and heavier than I am, I don't stand a chance. He forces me onto my knees, unzips his trousers and pulls his dick out. It's around six inches, very thick for a kid our age and rock hard. Dalton grabs the back of my head and pushes me down on it. This is it. I've got one shot; I've got to make it count. I don't care if I get my head kicked in afterwards; everybody will know what they did. I suck smoothly up and down it a couple of times. They relax; Dalton even takes his hand away. As I come up the third time, I open my mouth as wide as I can. "See, boys," Courtney says, "he likes .. YEOWWWWW!!!!" I snap my jaws shut, my teeth sinking into his dick just behind the head. Before he's had a chance to react I pull off and punch him in the balls. I'm still boxed in though; if I can barge Dalton out of the way I might just get out of this in one piece, but it's a long shot. Suddenly Courtney goes flying backwards as someone grabs him by the collar. I take the chance to get back on my feet, expecting it to be Sam or Nathan; it's not, it's Liam. "What d'you think you're doing?" he asks angrily, spinning Courtney round. "Diss batty boy wanted to suck my dick, so I let him do it," Courtney says, stuffing his cock back in his pants. "No he didn't; you were making him!" Liam retorts. "I saw you, dirty bastard!" I don't believe this. Liam's a superb athlete but I've been in class with him all year and he's one of the quietest kids I've ever met, yet here he is mixing it with the one kid on the year who's actually bigger than he is, well heavier anyway. It seems like Courtney doesn't believe it either. "Fuck off!" he barks. It's a bad mistake; Liam hits him flush on the nose. He staggers backwards, blood trickling down his face. It was like he never saw it. Fuck! It was so fast I never saw it! Suddenly Courtney stuffs his hand in his pocket and pulls it back out. Something's catching the sun. Holy shit! He's got a knife! He lunges forwards but Liam's too quick and dodges out of the way. There's a stand-off, the two of them facing each other. It's like I've been totally forgotten. "Do him, Courtney!" Dalton squeals, bouncing up and down, his back half turned towards me. I come up behind the little shit and kick him in the thigh; he hops around on his other leg, howling in pain. In the next instant the knife goes cartwheeling through the air as Liam kicks it out of Courtney's hand. Then there's a flurry of fists, all Liam's, only it doesn't seem like a flurry; it's like I'm watching it in super-slow motion: a right hand under the rib-cage, a straight left into the face and another right that hits Courtney full on the jaw. He goes down like one of those tower blocks that's been blown up; very slowly at first, then he just collapses in a heap. Suddenly there are kids everywhere; two minutes ago the place was deserted. There's a call of "Kick his head in!" Liam doesn't comply; just stands at the ready in case Courtney gets back up. He doesn't; he's not going anywhere. Dalton hobbles across to retrieve the knife. "Don't touch that!" a familiar voice shouts. Dalton shrinks back; Nathan strides forward, pulls out a handkerchief and picks it up. He comes across to me; he's as white as a sheet and shaking even more than I am. "What happened?" he asks quietly. I tell him the story as simply as I can. "You, errr, you bit his dick?" he whispers. "Yeah." "Fuck! I knew you had some bottle, but that's really something!" he whispers. "Shit! I'm so sorry! Mr. Burgess held us back for a prefects' meeting. Now the year thirteen lads are on their exams we're in charge; he wanted to give us a pep-talk, we couldn't get out." "It's not your fault," I say quietly. "Liam's a fuckin' hero, taking him on like that." Courtney starts to move; Sam grabs him by the shoulders and drags him to his feet. "You are fuckin' history!" he snarls. Courtney can barely stand up, there's still blood coming from his nose and his right eye's starting to close. He is a mess! Dalton and Luther are cowering in the corner; Luther's starting to cry. Several teachers have come out to deal with the situation; Mr. Birkett, Mr. Standen, Mr. Maynard and a couple I don't know. Nathan and Liam tell Mr Birkett what happened while the rest of them shoo the other kids away. There's the sound of a police siren. A minute later two police officers are striding towards us. Mr. Birkett gives them a brief run- down on what's happened, although me and Liam are standing a little bit away from them so we can't hear what's being said. Then they come across to us. "So, you gave this lad a beating?" the older one says to Liam, jerking his head in Courtney's direction. "I saw him and his mates attacking Chris, so I grabbed him and asked him what he thought he was doing." Liam says calmly. "He told me to fuck off so I smacked him on the nose. Then he pulled a knife out. Well, I managed to get it off him then I put him on the floor." "Got an anger problem, have you son?" the copper asks in a sneering tone. "No, I don't," Liam says coolly. "If I did, I'd have kicked his head in." "You hit him hard enough for him to have to go to hospital as it is," the cop continues. "You might have broken his jaw." This is mad! This is all Courtney's fault; now it sounds like the coppers want to blame Liam for it. To my amazement, Liam seems totally unfazed by it. "Well, I'm not going to mess about with someone who's pulled a knife on me," he says evenly. "And anyway, it's not how hard a punch is; it's how you land it. I could throw that last punch a hundred times and not land it like that; he walked right onto it." "You a boxer then?" the copper asks. "Used to be; don't do it any more, I don't have time. Athletics is my main sport, high jump, javelin, discus, that sort of thing. I play in goal for the school soccer team too." "A bit of an all-rounder then," the cop comments, moderating his tone. "Yeah, I guess," Liam says. "I want to do decathlon when I'm a bit older." "Well, you be careful," the man warns. "You could really hurt somebody; then you would be in trouble." They wander back to speak to Mr. Birkett. After a brief conversation all five of us are taken back into school and put in separate rooms. Courtney's in Mr. Birkett's room, Luther in the deputy head's room, Liam and Dalton in two other rooms close by. I'm put into the waiting room that looks out onto the main foyer. Sam and Nathan are out there like on guard duty but it seems like they're not allowed to talk to anyone. I sit there for maybe five minutes. Mr. Sheridan appears; he comes into the waiting room and closes the door. "So what happened this time?" he asks quietly. I tell it exactly like it was. I don't say anything about hanging around to meet Nathan of course, but he doesn't need to know about that. "Well," he says, when I've finished, "What Courtney's saying is that you offered to, er. suck him off if he'd leave you alone, so he agreed. Then he says that when Liam intervened he did not tell him to fuck off; Liam just hit him. He agrees he pulled a knife out, but says it was only to defend himself; he says he never tried to stab anyone, then Liam just went mad." "He's a bloody liar!" I snap. "Yeah, you can say that; unfortunately the police have to take it seriously. They can't be seen to be taking sides. Right at the moment it's your word against his." "That one copper, the older one, was horrible to Liam," I protest. "He pretty well accused him of attacking Courtney for nothing!" "Yeah, well they need to make sure they get the full picture," he says, like he's making an excuse he doesn't really believe. "I guess they have to do that sometimes." "So what have Dalton and Luther said?" I ask. "Nothing much," he says. "Dalton just keeps saying he wants his social worker here before he answers any questions. Still, I think we might get the proper story pretty soon; we've contacted Luther's mum, she's on her way over." We wait in silence; there's not much to be said. Several more minutes pass. The main door opens and a large black woman enters. She's got a face like thunder. Mr. Sheridan goes out to meet her. He takes her to the deputy head's room. Fuck! This must be Luther's mum! It's amazing that she's so big when he's so small. "Luther!" she screams as he opens the door. "I told you to stay away from dem boys!" Luther bursts into tears. His mum and Mr. Sheridan go inside and close the door. Everything's quiet again. Ten minutes later Mr. Sheridan emerges. He comes straight back to the waiting room. "You and Liam can go home now," he says with a little smile on his face. "Luther has confirmed your story in every detail." "Just one thing, sir," I ask, almost in a whisper. "The knife that Courtney had, it was for me, wasn't it?" He swallows hard. "Yes, well at least that's what Luther's told us," he says, looking uncomfortable. "But you don't have to worry about Courtney any more; he'll be in a secure unit. Even after he gets out, and that'll be a while, he'll be placed in foster care in a different part of the country. You won't see him round here again. I'm sorry you've had to go through this; nothing like it has ever happened here." The copper who was in with Luther strides into Mr. Birkett's office. There are sounds of a disturbance; Mr. Birkett's shouting at Courtney to empty his pockets. I don't know what that's about. Then everything's quiet again. We go out into the foyer. "Sam, tell Liam he can go home, please," Mr. Sheridan says. "Then you guys can get off; I'll stay with Dalton till his social worker gets here. "Are you okay to walk home?" he asks me, looking concerned. "I'll go with him," Nathan says, "I only live round the corner." The four of us wander slowly out of the building. I'm still pretty shell-shocked, make that very shell-shocked. I can't get out of my head what Courtney meant to do; after I'd finished sucking him off he was going to stab me. That is sick! Even worse, Dalton and Luther knew that was what he was going to do and went along with it. So what's going to happen to them? At the school gate we split up; Sam goes with Liam, but he only lives round the corner anyway. I can't believe what Liam did; he was awesome! It wasn't just the way he dealt with Courtney, answering that copper without getting upset, fuck, that was unbelievable! With him being so quiet most of the time I'd never have thought he'd be able to do that. We walk in silence for several minutes. It's been a difficult experience for both of us; I don't have much to talk about and Nathan's like he's afraid of saying the wrong thing. I'm sure he thinks he let me down `cause he wasn't there at the end of school, but it wasn't his fault; he wasn't to know Mr. Burgess was going to keep them all behind. "Are we going to your place?" I say at last. "Don't you think it'd be better if I just walked you home?" Nathan says gently. "I sort of need to be with someone," I say quietly. "I know you're busy; just half an hour if that's okay." "Don't worry about me," he says, smiling and sounding more relaxed. "I can get my work done this evening; it's no problem." A few minutes later he's letting us in through the front door. "Want a drink?" he asks. "Yeah, thanks." "How about a cup of tea? Help to settle you down a bit, yeah?" "Yeah; tea's good." We sit opposite each other at the kitchen table; my head's still all over the place. I'd thought Courtney might want to give me a good kicking; I'd no idea he was going to do anything like that. "Are we going to your bedroom?" I ask. "You know, so that we can cuddle up together." "Are you sure that's what you want?" he says warily. "Yes." He leads the way upstairs. I can't believe I got him so wrong; I thought all he wanted was to give me a quick fuck like he did at school, but he's not like that at all. "What time do your mum and dad get home?" I enquire. "Half past five, quarter to six, that sort of time," he says. It's almost quarter to five; that might be long enough for me to get my head straightened out a bit. We strip down to our underwear and get onto the bed. I snuggle right up to him. He runs his hands over my back and my shoulders, gently massaging me. I just lie there and let him do it. "You're so tense," he whispers. "There's something bothering you; something you're not telling me." "You know the knife Courtney had?" I say, looking right into his eyes. "That was meant for me. After he'd made me suck him off, he was going to stab me. I knew as soon as I saw it that's what he'd got it for." "Maybe," he says cautiously. "You can't be sure of that." "I asked Mr. Sheridan; that's what Luther told them." I start sobbing; I just can't help it. "Let it go, Chris," Nathan says quietly. "Let it come out. People say boys don't cry, but they do." He holds me very gently, my head resting on his chest. Right now there's nowhere else I'd want to be. Five minutes pass, maybe a few more. My head feels clearer and my tears have gone. Without even thinking about it, I kiss him full on the lips. He opens his mouth slightly, allowing my tongue to push inside. Moments later we're into some full-on tongue wrestling. I'm suddenly hard in my briefs. I reach down; he's hard too. "Wow!" he whispers. "You're amazing!" I lick my way down his body, spending time first on one nipple then the other. I move down to his tummy-button; he strokes my hair, just letting me do what I want. I reach the waistband of his boxers. I could pull them down, but that'd take too long. I get his cock out of the opening and plunge right down on it; this is a dick I do want to suck! He moves me round so that my crotch is by his face, skinning my briefs down my legs. A moment later my cock is engulfed in his warm, wet mouth. This is so perfect; the warmth, the togetherness, everything about it. After what happened, I really need this. I don't know why and to be honest I don't care; I just do. After a couple of minutes we roll apart. "Are you going to fuck me?" I ask. "Uh, huh," he says, shaking his head. He snuggles up with me, his arm round my shoulder. "You went through a really bad experience back there," he says, looking me right in the eye. "You're pretty shaken up at the moment; it just wouldn't be right. We can do it some other time if that's what you want." We lie there in silence; it doesn't seem like there's much else to say. "You really pulled me up short last week," he says at last, "made me think about the way I treat people. You thought I was a knob-head `cause I acted like one; I need to learn from that, yeah?" "Yeah, I guess." "So I'm not going to screw it up by fucking you when you've just been through an experience like that, and end up with you hating me again," he says, gently stroking my cheek. He gives me a beautiful smile. "There is one thing I can do for you though." He scoots down, resting his head on my tummy. A moment later he's sucking me off, his hands expertly massaging my legs. Oh, fuck! The sensations are unbelievable! I gently stroke his hair, lying back and trying to relax, hoping to make it last. Well, it does, about two minutes! Suddenly I'm gasping like an old steam engine, balls tightening, my fingers clawing at the bed. Then I explode, my spunk squirting over and over into his mouth. He swallows every drop, licking the tip of my cock to make sure he hasn't missed any. Finally he pulls away and flops down next to me. "D'you feel better now?" he whispers. "Yeah, a lot better, thanks," I say, licking his nose. "Well sorry, but it's ten past five; I'm going to have to kick you out," he says, giving me a sad smile. "No problem," I say, smiling back at him. "Thanks for looking after me." Five minutes later I'm on my way home. I'm glad we did that; it would have been so easy to say it wasn't the right time, but somehow it's eased all the tension away, I feel like me again. I'm a bit sad though. Now I've got to know him, Nathan's really nice, nothing like the arsehole I thought he was. I'd love to have him as a boyfriend, but it's not going to happen. We can't hang out together because of the age difference. He's not going to risk everything he's worked for by doing that and I can't say I blame him, but it's getting frustrating; the ones who are available I don't really like, the ones I do really like aren't available. Brad said that there's someone out there for me; I just wish I could find him.
