Chapter 14: Andy

It was morning again, and a start of the new day. His phone's blaring alarm was enough to wake Dean. He had checked the facebook for Andy's reply and it was confirmed that they were indeed meeting. After his usual routine of getting up, taking care of his morning wood, brushing and bathing, Dean came down for breakfast.

"Morning mom!"

"Good morning Dean!... Early as usual?"

"Yup, is breakfast done yet?"

"Yes, can you come and help me plate it up?"

"Sure!"

".. So, Dean, I was thinking about Keith and Peter, I think I will be inviting them over this Sunday for lunch. What do you think?"

"It will be great I think." he said, "It is good that mom can now have an interaction with Keith, perhaps this will help out ease things somewhere in future," Dean thought

"Wow, we have bacon with french toast today?"

"Well, I think you certainly deserved it for being so nice with your brother and me these past few days. I think going to Keiths' is certainly helping you in a big way"

"You are the best," Dean said and hugged her, "If only she knew what we were up to at his place," he thought afterward.

"So are you going today too?"

"Shit I forgot to tell her about my plans for the day", "Umm. I don't think so mom, Keith has some staff member visit today so I thought it would be better not to go. Besides I have somewhere else to go today"

"Somewhere else?"

"Umm... Yeah..., I have a meeting with a friend at 2:30, it is important"

"Is that so? okay, but try to come back before 8"

"I will try, and if I can't I will give you a call"

The morning went the usual route. Dean came up after breakfast thinking how he would be at Keith's place at this time and how he would be snogging with him. He was instantly hard and had to wank off before he could gather himself. "Fuck, I want Keith badly!" he muttered as he looked outside the window at the sky. "Is it going to rain?" he pondered as he saw the sky overcast. Then he looked at the adjacent house. "So Peter is off?... I wonder what Keith would be doing now?..., but wait maybe I can take a short trip to his home before I go on, I still have a lot of time. But maybe Stephanie has already arrived and they are working?" Just then he saw a red Honda Fit park in the garage space. "She must be Stephanie!" Dean thought as he looked with his binoculars. A lean, ginger-haired woman stepped out. She had a bulky purse and a decent makeup. Wearing a short skirt type dress, she was dressed casually, not something extravagant as you would have expected otherwise. Then Dean suddenly noticed her tits. "She definitely is big up there" Dean said and gulped. The only thing Dean found really intriguing about female anatomy was tits. In fact, he had often thought of sucking them. He thought he knew what attracted straight males to them. The bigger the better was what he thought. She knocked at the door and waited. Dean watched intently. Keith opened the door and she smiled and walked in. "Geez! I so wanted to be there right now!" Dean thought slightly irritated. As he had nothing interesting to go on he opened his laptop to entertain himself. "It is so good that I have unrestricted internet access. Only I know the sacrifices I had to make to get mom's permission for it" he thought as he opened one porn site after another. After a few hours, the promised hour was near. "Only half an hour?" Dean thought as he looked at his laptop for time. "I better get ready"

Dawning a red and white striped t-shirt along with Jeans, Dean gaudily walked into his bathroom. "I look decent," he thought as he looked into the mirror, setting up his blonde hair with a bit of gel. "Good, that seems done!..." "Hopefully," he thought. "The trip would take 15 minutes..., that means I am going to be late?" he thought as he glanced the watch near his bed. He looked one last time in the mirror and was off. "I am off mom, I will have lunch outside today!" he said as he tied his shoes. "Are you sure? I have the lunch already prepared" she asked from the living room.

"Yeah I will have it outside"

"Do you have enough money?"

"I told you I was saving"

"And don't forget to take umbrella Dean, it might rain"

"Don't worry mom, it will be alright!" Dean said as he hurriedly scampered off.

The place wasn't that far, it was a 10-minute walk to the city park and another 5 minutes from there. Dean checked his phone for new messages from Andy and yes he had one. "Waiting at the last table in the right row, where are you?", the message said

"I don't have time to write back," Dean said hurriedly treading his path. "Guess I would just have to make a surprise appearance"

He was there after a couple of minutes, he waited outside and took a breath calming himself. He then opened the door and entered. Glancing around at the right row he found the table right away. Andy waved at him and they exchanged greetings. Andy had a sky blue t-shirt with a green splash like thing in the middle where the word "GO!" was written in black. He wore a capry beneath it and casual shoes. "Hi Dean, please sit," Andy said and took the lead. He was already drinking some orange drink. "You... look really good in that shirt," Andy said. "What?!!.. " Dean thought as his furrows stretched a bit, but was quick enough to mutter a "Thanks, you too"

"Why don't you order something for yourself?" Andy said

Dean fumbled for the menu, he was feeling increasingly tense. "Fuck, here I was thinking it would be a normal hang out with a guy, but it feels more and more awkward like I am on a date, ... A date?! why did I just think that...? In any case, I must gather myself right away!" Dean thought. "I would take Han's burger, with coke and finger chips," Dean said

"Cool, then I shall place the orders"

"You mean you are paying for me?"

"Yeah, after all it was my idea to hang out with you, I don't really mind paying"

"No!.." Dean stammered, "I mean we just met.. and.. you going for .."

"Relax, you can pay me back any time later when we hang out again fine?"

Dean agreed reluctantly after a bit more persuasion. Andy went and gave away the orders at the counter.

"Andy, you really didn't have to do that" Dean said as Andy came back.

"It is really fine" There was a short pause after which Andy took the initiative,

"Dean, do you wanna know how I came to know about you?"

"Come to know about me? Was it not a coincidence?!" Dean thought, "Yeah please"

"Do you know Liz?"

Dean paused for a moment thinking back... "I think I know her, she was with me back at middle school... But wait how do you know about her?"

"Well of course I do, she is my girl"

Dean felt a sharp turn in his stomach. "That is great! but she isn't in our school is she?"

"Yeah, she isn't, sadly. But you know she was the one to tell me about you. She told me that... you were her first crush!"

Again that sudden twist in stomach was felt by Dean, "Really?" he asked genuinely shocked.

"You didn't know about it, did you? I mean she told me that she dropped many hints for you to pick, but you never paid any heed to it."

"Was she really that into it..? " Dean said, "Looking back, Liz was always closer to me in the class and also in the lunch area. She always kept trying to connect with me in various ways, but I couldn't understand... more like I didn't want to because I was not interested in girls. But is it alright to just abandon her? What about her feelings towards me? Shit I feel bad, maybe I can try to set up a meeting with her someday..." he thought inwardly.

"Yeah dude, but I guess she would never speak about it to you"

"I am really sorry..."

"It's alright, don't worry, besides if you hadn't dropped her she wouldn't be with me now," Andy said with a chuckle.

"I suppose"

"Hey, have you listened to this new song from Clean Bandit?" Andy said pointing to his phone

"..Not this one, I usually do listen to this band though"

"Try this" Andy gave one of the earpieces of his earphone to him as they both listened to the music. Dean had to lean closer to Andy for doing this.

"What do you think?" Andy asked when the music stopped.

"Sensational I think, it was really good, damn I didn't know about it before"

"Cool right?"

"Yeah"

The food arrived soon after, "So you like Steak burger?" Dean asked he was definitely at more ease now.

"Yeah, I love meat. I am a carnivore through and through, look at my canines" Andy said

"Jesus, they are sharp!" Dean said and they both laughed.

After finishing the food, they both headed out. "Where do we go now?" Dean asked.

"I dunno, maybe the arcade? or park?"

"Arcade looks more fun"

"Arcade it is then..."

Then suddenly out of nowhere the outpour began. "Shit!" Dean said covering his head.

"Let us go beneath that shop.," Andy said as he pulled Dean and they both went to shelter themselves.

"I should have carried umbrella, mom even said that it might rain," Dean said as he looked at his soaked shirt.

"I know, but is great it is raining. I mean it was really hot these past few days" Andy said as a gust of cool wind swept through his wet hair.

"That is true" There was silence for a short while as they both just listened to the outpour and felt the cool wind occasionally brushing past through them. It was kind of surreal in a strange way.

"It looks pretty doesn't it?" Andy said, his eyes still glued to the rain falling on the pavement in front of them.

"It sure does" Dean managed to say between his transfixed state.

"Hey Dean..., do you know Andy is not my true name?"

"Really? okay, then what is?" Dean asked

"Andrew it is..., but somewhere along the way everybody started calling me Andy, so I kept it"

"Pet name?"

"Kinda"

"I wish I had one"

"What might it be like? your name can't be shortened!"

"I dunno, maybe Ean... Ian?"

"That is a completely different name!!" Andy cried and they both laughed. The rain had mostly stopped now but cool gusts of wind were still occasionally bringing shivers to there soaked bodies.

"I guess that is as far as we go today," Dean said looking at his shirt. "I must go and change it"

"Yeah! If it weren't for the rain I wouldn't mind being captive in your company for a while longer" Andy said poetically

Dean was slightly flushed, "Me too," he said.
