This story used to be posted under a different name. I decided I wanted to

As the boys ran into the woods they started to pick up fallen tree branches
and twigs, and began to use them as makeshift weapons. John picked up two
long skinny branches, for katanas, Henry grabbed a single long one for a bo
staff, and Ian two small twigs for nunchucks. With the help of their
imaginations the woods became a scene from Ninja Turtles, full of boyish
laughs and giggles. "Cowabunga !" Ian yelled with a smile at John and
Henry, as the young boy began to enjoy himself with his new friends. Trees
became foot soldiers for them to attack as they made their way deeper into
the woods, in search of the Shedder, the bad guy. William and Billy soon
came in search of them, when John saw the men arrive, "It's the Shredder
and Krang, get em ! John yelled. The boys surrounded William and Billy,
grins plastered on their faces as the boys began to playfully pretend to
hit them. The men played along, "I'll get you turtles! William yelled out,
"Let's get them" Billy said as they started to try to tickle the boys, whom
dropped their weapons and took off with loud giggles and shrieks.

William and Billy eventually caught them and began to tickle the boys
mercilessly. Henry and Ian figured it not fair John wasn't getting properly
tickled, held him down so the men could tickle the soles of his feet, which
made John shriek and kick. After the tickle torture was over the boys let
John up, embraced in a hug, and enjoyed their newfound friendship. "So what
you fellas want to do now?" Ian asked, "Tag you're it! Henry yelled as he
and John took off, Ian in hot pursuit. William and Billy chuckled and found
a seat on a log, and decided they couldn't keep up with the much younger
boys.  "I think I'll go pack a picnic lunch for us" William said, "Might
not be a bad idea, the boys will work up an appetite at this pace," Billy
said, the men exchanged a chuckle as William headed back to the house. The
boys continued to play their game of tag and switched constantly who was
it. When the boys began to tire they decided to stroll along the edge of
the creek, as they kept an eye out for snakes. "Are you having fun?" John
asked, "Having fun being naked?" Henry quickly added. "Yeah I reckon I am"
Ian said with a laugh, "I used to be naked at home a lot, never outside"

how did you meet William and Billy?" John asked, "Oh they run the place
where I stay" Ian replied. "You don't live at home?" Henry asked, "Nope"
Ian said sadly. "What about your family?" John asked, "Hudson is the only
family I have" Ian replied, sighing. "What about your mom and dad?" John
asked, "I don't have one anymore" Ian replied, as he began to tear up.

When John saw Ian began to get emotional he put his sandwich down, stood
up, went to Ian, and hugged him. "I'm sorry" John said, "It's ok partner"
Ian said. When Henry saw this exchange, he put his sandwich down, and
joined in the hug with the other boys. "You fellas have been mighty kind
today" Ian said, "Of course you are our friend" John said, "Yeah we're
friends" Henry said. Ian began to cry in his friends holds, their words
touched him deeply. "I don't have any friends besides Hudson" Ian said
emotionally, "We don't either" John said. "Yeah we just had our birthday
and no one came" Henry said. "I wish we would have known you before, you
could have come to our party" John said. `You will have to come next year"
Henry said as Ian began to cry harder, too emotional for words. "Don't cry
please" Henry said, "Please" John said. "It's just I'm not used to this"
Ian said as he tried to calm down, overwhelmed from the kindness he had
been shown. John and Henry hugged Ian tight before they returned to their
seats, and began to finish their sandwiches. "Thank you fellas for being my
friend" Ian said when he calmed down, John and Henry nodded their heads, as
both their mouths were full of peanut butter and jelly.

After everyone had ate their sandwich it was decided to head back to the
house, their bellies full and their hearts bright. They all walked hand in
hand until they approached the gate, entered it, and William stopped them
as they got to the basement door. "Hey, boys take your shoes off for me,
I'll clean them right quick" William said which made he boys look down at
their shoes, muddy, and woods debris covered them. Everyone removed their
shoes, Billy opened the basement door after, and the boys followed him
inside as William began to clean the shoes. Billy went behind the bar,
motioned for the boys to take a seat on the stools in front, and he began
to bring out glass bottles of Coke. The boys looked on as Billy brought out
a bottle opener, began popping the caps off, and passed them to the
boys. "So Ian, will you be here all the time now?" John asked, "No, I'm
just on holiday" Ian said sadly. "Holiday?" Henry asked, "I'll take this
one" Billy replied, the boys all focused their attention on him. "A holiday
is what we call it when we take a kid out from the center, to bring them
here to play or some manner of fun, William and I believe kids need to be
kids, hard to do at the center all the time" Billy said. "Oh ok, can Ian
have more holidays?" John asked, "We'll see what we can do " Billy replied
chuckling. "Yes!" Ian exclaimed, "Next time maybe Hudson can come" Ian
quickly added excitedly. "What's he like?" Henry asked, "Oh he's cool, he
like's Ninja Turtles too" Ian replied. "He can be our Raphael!" John
exclaimed, "He'd like that " Ian said. Neither John nor Henry fully grasped
the situation about Ian, they were just glad to have made a new friend, and
wished they could play together every day. The boys and Billy chatted for a
while as the boys drank their cokes, John and Ian had a contest to see who
could burp the loudest, Ian won.

"Hey want to go play the Simpsons?" John asked as he spun his stool around,
and looked at The Simpsons arcade machine against the wall. The boys hopped
off their stools, took position in front of the arcade machine, and were
relieved to find it didn't take quarters to play. John chose Bart, Ian
Homer, and Henry Lisa. William came in the door with the now clean shoes as
the boys began to play. "Aren't they cute?" Billy said, "Yeah they are"
William said. "I'm glad Ian made friends with them" Billy said, "He
deserves it, poor kid has had it rough" William said. "I think this is the
happiest I have seen him since he came to the center" William added, "I
believe you're right" Billy said. The men shook their heads as the boys got
began to get loud and yelled, hollered, and laughed. It was an hour of
bouncy button mashing fun. It was then time for everyone to depart, Ian
needed to get back to the center, and John and Henry needed to go
home. William and Billy helped the boys dress, and made sure they all
looked nice. They all walked out front to where John and Henry had left
their bikes, and the boys all shared in a hug.

As they hugged John and Henry kissed Ian on either cheek which made the
young boy blush. "Shucks fellas" Ian said, "Let's pay again soon" John
said, "Real soon" Henry said. John and Henry got on their bikes, began the
journey home, waved back to Ian, and he waved to them, and they pedaled
home. When they got to John's house they found Cheryl doing laundry, they
ran up and hugged her. "Where have you boys been? I have been worried"
Cheryl asked, "We met a new friend mom" John replied."Is he nice?" Cheryl
asked warmly, "His name is Ian, he's very nice" Henry replied. "Well I'm
glad you two are making friends, but you could have let me know so I
wouldn't worry" Cheryl said. "Sorry mom" John said, "Sorry" Henry
said. "Now why do you two smell like stinky little boys?" Cheryl asked with
a laugh, "We do not stink! John exclaimed. "Oh no, the stink monster is
back" Cheryl replied with a laugh, "Stink monster!" Henry exclaimed with a
giggle.  "Hmph!" John said as he pounted, "Why don't you boys go take a
shower" Cheryl said. "Fine" John said, "Ok" Henry said. "Oh and boys"
Cheryl said as the boys turned to walk away, "Yeah mom?" John asked. "The
water bill was high this month, and our budget is tight enough, so I
wondered if you two wouldn't mind to take your showers together from now
on?" Cheryl said, lying. In truth, with Cheryl having suspected the boys
were being experimental with each other, decided to relent about them
sharing a bath. She however did not want to embarrass them and ask
outright, choosing to lie, as much as she hated lying to her son and Henry,
it was the lesser of evils. It was decided to provide them with a safe
environment to experiment in, if that is what they were doing. Cheryl
herself had enjoyed childhood experimentation with her friends, as she grew
up in an unconventional household.

"You mean it mom?" John asked, "Yes unless you want to get a job" Cheryl
replied with a laugh. "You're silly" John said, "This is another thing we
can't tell mommy" Henry said. "Yes sweetheart I know, I promise" Cheryl
said, "Thank you!" Henry said with a smile. "If you want to give me your
clothes, I'll wash and dry them" Cheryl said kindly. "You want me.. to get
naked here?" Henry asked nervously, "Oh sorry, how about I turn around and
John can hand me your clothes?" Cheryl asked, turned around, and closed her
eyes. "Ok but don't look" Henry said nervously. John and Henry stripped
naked, Henry ran to John's room, and John handed their dirty clothes to his
mom. "He's silly" John said as he handed the clothes to his mom, "Now go
take a bath stink monster" Cheryl said, as she playfully swatted John on
the butt. John joined Henry in the bedroom, they turned the shower on, and
waited for it to warm. "Can you believe it?" Henry asked, "No this is
great" John replied. John leaned over, sniffed Henry, and raised his

With the water warmed up the boys stepped in the shower, and danced under

John said. "Let's go watch cartoons until you go home" John added, "Let me

said, "But your mom" Henry said. "So?" John asked, "She sees me naked all
the time" John added, "That's because she's your mom" Henry said. "You're
being silly, you like to get naked" John said, "I will be embarrassed if
she shes me naked" Henry said. "Why? Afraid it might fall off if she sees
it?" John said with a giggle, "Not funny" Henry said. "What if mommy comes?
She would be really mad if I was naked" Henry added. "She would ring the
doorbell, we'll run if it rings" John said, "What if I get embarrassed?"
Henry asked.

"Like at Disney, just hold my hold" John said with a smile, "You can't
tease me this time, that wasn't nice last time" Henry said, "I promise, I
said I was sorry" John said. "Uh ok" Henry said hesitantly. "Really? You'll
do it?" John asked, "I guess" Henry said nervously. Henry was nervous and
didn't know if he wanted John's mom to see him naked, he wasn't even
allowed to be naked around his own mom. As his mind raced, he looked into
John's eyes, as he sought comfort, and he decided to try, for John's sake,
it seemed to mean a lot to his boyfriend."Come on" John said as he took
Henry's hand, "Ok" Henry said as John led him out of the bedroom. The boys
entered into the living room, climbed on the sofa, and cuddled up to watch
cartoons."Did you boys" Cheryl started to say as she walked in the living
room, and found the boys naked. "Hi mom" John said with a smile, and Henry
looked at Cheryl like a deer in headlights. After she got over her initial
shock, she could tell Henry looked scared. She remembered how he had acted
after John had wet the bed, and was surprised he would be naked with her
around. Cheryl had allowed John to be naked at home as much as he wanted,
as she hoped to instill a healthy body image, and avoid the usual hangups
people had.

She had grown to care for Henry like her own, and she wanted him to be
comfortable in her home. Cheryl walked over and knelt down in front of John
and Henry, whom was cuddled into his boyfriend with his legs shut
tight. "Henry honey I can tell you're nervous, but please know this fine,
you being naked" Cheryl said. "You are always welcome and I want you to
feel at home here" Cheryl added. "Really?" Henry asked, "Yes sweetheart"

back into the kitchen, "See I told you mom was cool" John said, "Yeah"
Henry said, as he cuddled into and placed his head on John's shoulder as
they began to watch cartoons. As Cheryl looked back at the boys, and saw
the way they were cuddled up, she couldn't help but think how sweet they
were together, and wondered if maybe there was even more going on than she
first suspected. She knew whatever it was, she would accept and support, as
long as they were happy.

The boys watched cartoons for a couple of hours, and enjoyed being able to
be naked together. As the afternoon wore on it was time for Henry to head
home, with his clothes having dried while the boys watched TV. As Cheryl
handed Henry his clothes she was surprised when he dressed in front of her,
and showed no signs of nervousness. She noticed John had a grin plastered
on his face with his eyes glued on Henry, she chuckled and thought how
transparent her son was. After Henry was dressed Cheryl hugged him, "You're
a good boy Henry" she said. "Thank you for everything" Henry said as he
hugged Cheryl. John got off the sofa and hugged Henry next, "I'll see you
tomorrow" John said, "Yeah see you" Henry said, as the boys hugged. Henry
walked out the front door as he waved, got on his bike, and headed to his
house.  As John went to bed that night, Cheryl sat on the edge of his bed,
"Honey you know that I love you no matter what right?" Cheryl asked, "Yeah
mom" John replied. "And you can tell me anything and I'll still love you
right?" Cheryl asked, "Yeah" John replied. "So is there anything you want
to tell me?" Cheryl asked, "Like what?" John asked. "Well I dunno, that's
why I'm asking" Cheryl said, "You're silly mom" John said. "So nothing to
tell me?" Cheryl asked, "Nope" John said. "Alright then" Cheryl said as she
kissed John on the head, "Love you mom" John said, "Love you too honey"
Cheryl said. The next day Henry showed up at John's house, and his mom
accompanied. John got scared when he saw her, and thought she had maybe
found out they were naked together the day before. When he saw she was
smiling, his fears dissipated.

"Hi Katherine" Cheryl said, "Hi Cheryl" Katherine said. "Let's sit" Cheryl
said, which made everyone take a seat on the sofa. "I asked Katherine here
to help me talk to you two" Cheryl said, "Yes we need to go over the plans
for the summer" Katherine said. "Listen, boys, with school out, Katherine
and I don't feel you are old enough to stay at home by yourselves," Cheryl
said, "Yes, that's why you will have to stay with your grandparents during
the week" Katherine added. John and Henry looked at each other shocked and
their hearts began to break when they realized they wouldn't be
together. "We will try to make sure you guys are together as much as
possible, but it just won't be every day like I know you hoped," Cheryl
said. The moms could see the boys faces had dropped, obviously devastated
by the news. "Every Friday though, you boys will be able to spend the whole
day and spend the night together at my parent's home as Katherine and I
need some girl time," Cheryl said, "I talked to my parents about it but
they asked if you two would be quiet and I just laughed," Katherine
said. They all chatted about summer and things they might could all do
until Katherine headed home after a round of goodbyes. John and Henry
decided to go to John's room to work on their comic, excited and full of
ideas.

Henry had brought a pad of construction paper and his art set from home,
ready to be the artist on the project. "Let's get naked first" John said,
"Ok" Henry said with a giggle. The boys stripped naked then laid across
John's bed, and grinned at one another. "Ok the hero's name is The
Guardian, his superpowers are flight, super hearing which he uses to listen
out for kids crying and the ability to tell if a kid is in danger. He will
rescue the kids from being hurt and make sure they are safe. He is super
strong," John explained to Henry. "I like it, what does he look like so I
can draw him?" Henry asked inquisitively. What do you think? I'm thinking
like the Punisher and Superman mixed but cooler" John said, "How about if
he's like Shazam, where he is a kid that turns into an adult," Henry
said. "Yeah! When he hears or sees a kid in danger he transforms," John
said, "Uh-huh," Henry said. The boys worked on it throughout the afternoon,
John came up with the script and Henry drew the scenes.  The first issue
told the Guardian's origin story, he was a kid being abused by his dad. One
day a wizard offered him magical powers to stop the abuse, if he agreed to
help other kids like him. When he agreed he was imbued with all of his
superpowers, stopped his dad from hurting him, and became The Guardian.
When Henry finished his illustration of The Guardian, John was shocked to
see the kid version looked like him. "That's me" John said, "Yeah because
you're my hero" Henry said. As John blushed Henry kissed him on the cheek.

The superhero version was in all black with a red mask, red cape, with a
big red G on his chest. The boys continued to work on it throughout the
afternoon up until it was time for Henry to go home. "This comic is so
cool!" John exclaimed, "I can't wait to work on it some more" John
added. "This was fun" Henry said, "You are an awesome artist" John said,
which made Henry blush. The boys hugged each other, got dressed, and
followed each other out of the bedroom. "I'll miss you" John said as Henry
stood next to the front door, "I'll miss you too" Henry said. "Henry honey
you be safe going home" Cheryl said as she came to tell Henry goodbye. The
boys hugged again before Henry went out the front door and Cheryl and John
followed behind. "Bye" Henry said as he got on his bike, "Bye" John said,
waved his hand. Henry got on his bike and proceeded to pedal home, John
waved at him until he was out of sight.
