Subject: The Cowboys

This story is set in the past, just after the American Civil War ended.
That was 1865, and my story is a couple years after that in 1867.  It is
set in the west where cowboys rode horses and worked the ranches and did
that all their lives.  The time is when the west was still very untamed and
cowboys worked the ranches with many different type threats, one of those
was infriendly Indians.  This is a story about a group of cowboys and the
interaction of some local Indian men and what happened between all.  It is
all fantasy, no one is real, and no attempt to tarnish Indians or cowboys

THE COWBOYS

My name is Randel, but my Mom called me Rob and that is what stuck with
everyone.  This is my story when I was just 24 years old while working on a
big ranch in Montana.  The year was 1867, two years after the American
