Date: Wed, 5 Aug 2020 16:18:01 +1000 From: Maxwell Dowling Subject: Kasey with a k / chapter 11 Chapter 11 I threw everything I had bought with me into the bag, and within fifteen minutes we were heading back towards the city. It was still early the sun had just woken up which was a pleasant omen. The guys escorted me to the Commander's office, he looked so tired. "Please sit down Adam, we have been at it all night with Lloyd." "I see, you do look a little tired." "So do you, Adam." He tried to grin. "Now, Adam, Lloyd has finally admitted to some of his crimes. He will now sit for two months in our lockup and before he's discharged he will be taking some therapy classes. We will disconnect our association with him after that, and he will be charged by the police for breaking and entering, damaging property and whatever else they can come up with. The first question, do you want to talk to our trauma councilors because I think you're not coping too well?" "No thank you Keith, err sorry Commander. I think I'm going to be okay now all this evil shit is over." I wasn't okay, but I didn't want to talk to anyone except Kasey. "Well I wanted to make sure, you know you are free to walk the streets on your own now, and everyone is safe, we will track Lloyd for a while but I don't think you will have any more trouble now he's been well and truly busted." "Thank you, I had better make plans to get back to work full time then." "Maybe you had better make plans of holding your Kasey, he will be here in about fifteen minutes. He flew in early this morning they are just being debriefed and I have let him talk to Lloyd for a few minutes." He did smile this time and so did I. His phone rang and he excused himself and answered it. I overheard his conversation. "Batteries wire and what else Lieutenant?" He looked over at me. "Okay, I will be down in two minutes." He hung up and said he had to go, they had found the makings of a bomb in Lloyds knapsack and I'm not to worry, he is meeting with Kasey and will let me know if anything turns up. I told him I was going into work for a while to let Kasey know that's where I would be. I left shortly after and instead of walking straight to the shop, I went by the bakery to get buns for everyone's morning tea. While I was standing there waiting for the girl to load them into the bags my mind wandered and I started asking myself many important questions. Why, if Lloyd was able to break into two apartments, dodge security, manage to scare me half death, why couldn't he have planted a bomb in my shop before he was caught sneaking into the apartment building. Where was he until the early hours of this morning when he was arrested. I had another urgent thought, the staff, the salon it makes sense. I didn't wait for the girl to finish my order, my legs were instantly running towards the salon. I darted across the road at full speed, car horns went off and people were shouting at me. I made it to the big door then opened it to step inside. The first thing I saw was Trisha's smile, then a frown as I was pushed into the shop by someone in uniform. When I looked around I could see Military turning up everywhere outside, the soldier looked at me with his bright blue eyes and said. "Adam, evacuate the premises NOW!" I heard Kasey's voice amongst the barrage of uniforms that were storming my salon. "Trish, Tim get everyone out we have a bomb threat, leave by the back door, NOW!" Kasey was shouting over the staffs screaming, it was full-on chaos, I stood there because I was once again terrified and riveted to the spot if I moved the bomb will go off, I knew this because it's what I am destined to die from. I was pushed unceremoniously towards the back entrance and as I passed Kasey he had some sort of gizmo in his hands, I froze again. The beeping got louder and I screamed, I screamed so hard I thought I could never stop. "It's in the tea room, evacuate this building, Adam, get the fuck out of here." I heard Kasey yell. I was again pushed towards the exit at the back, I turned again as I got to the open door and saw Kasey kick down the tea room door. The loud blast was like a cyclone pushing me into the air, I heard it but didn't see it because I had been thrown twenty feet into the back car park. I screamed as I bounced on the gravel it tore at my clothes and skin as I landed heavily, my head hit the ground with a hard thud. "Kasey, Kasey, God somebody help him." I could hardly hear anything much, my ears had gone almost deaf from the noise, black smoke was billowing out the door and it was impossible to see inside. Thank god my staff weren't still in the tea room, thank God for that, I prayed so hard. I looked around me and screamed. "Is anyone hurt?" I could see shaking heads as Trish moved over to me and tried to help me stand up. I eventually found my legs but was still wobbly, two Military officers picked me up and carried me down to the start of the car park. I did hear someone shout. "There may be another one, stand clear, captain get those people out of here." My heart was racing at full speed and my body shook uncontrollably. I held on to Trish and Eva and sobbed. "Kasey, he's still in there." They immediately looked towards the salon door. I looked around me, there must have been a hundred soldiers running back and forth, there were two in blast suits that were entering the back door. I prayed as I have never prayed before. I was in shock still, and my head throbbed, I watched that doorway like a hawk, as I inched my way back towards it. "Stay back Adam, I'm warning you." It was Evans, he had taken his helmet off and was trying to look through the doorway. "Oh God, oh dear God," was all that was coming out of my mouth, my feet were dancing to and fro. I heard fire sirens, there was smoke rising from the building at a rapid rate. One of the bomb disposal experts came out, I wanted to ask him about Kasey, but he was being helped out of his headgear by Evans and Wilson, when they got it off he said into his radio. "All clear, commander, you can go in now." "Did you see Kasey, please tell me please I beg you," I shouted to him, he looked at me then he pulled Hargraves in to talk to him while he got the rest of the suit off. I snapped when I saw a small opening as they moved to one side, so I ran like the wind through the doorway. It was still smoky inside, and I called, no screamed out Kasey's name as I waded through timber and glass, a fire had started in the ceiling but I didn't care, there was absolute destruction everywhere. There was no tea or storage room left, and the last I saw of Kasey he was standing just outside that door, surly they looked for him, I screamed his name as soldiers moved through the buckled front door with the now non-existent windows. Then I heard it, it was faint but I did hear a muffled cry. I flew across the debris, my beautiful mirrors and chandeliers were shattered all over the place, the white walls were now pitch black. "Kasey, Kasey, where are you?" "Excuse me, sir, are you doing excellent shaves today or standard ones?" I stopped in my tracks and through the murky haze I saw him, my heart leaped for joy, he was sitting in the chair at my wrecked station covered in blood and ash. "Kasey, thank God, thank God." I climbed over what was left of the tearoom table and threw myself at him. I held him tight in my arms then I was shoved away by someone who was familiar to me. "You have to leave Adam, someone, get him out of here." The Commander's voice shouted in my face, then he shouted more orders to his men. "Get stuffed," I replied, and tried once more to get back to Kasey's side, but I was grabbed and dragged towards the rear door. "Maybe next time Adam with an A." I heard him shout. "You can bet your sweet ass on that one Kasey with a K." My heart burst, if he can make jokes, then he's going to be all right. "Hello sir, I am the Military's trauma officer, are you hurt anywhere?" "No." "What about your neck and that gravel rash?" "Old wound, done by the same bastard who did this." "Can you point out all your staff members so I can check them out?" "Yes, sorry it's been a big morning. Trish can you gather everyone over, this is the Trauma team they want to check you all over." Trish, god bless her got the staff members together I didn't see any signs of any wounds except Little Janice was in a terrible state, she was being comforted by Trev, God bless his beautiful soul. The officer radioed someone, and I overheard him say. "We need councilor's out in the back car park, female about seventeen traumatized. Dickens, get that girl wrapped up." A soldier placed a warmer blanket around Janice's shoulders as she wept into Trev's chest, his gentle hands stroked her back. I couldn't believe what I was seeing it was like a war zone, smoke was billowing from the top of the building but I could feel a sprinkle of water hitting me, so I deemed the fireman were doing their jobs, it was chaos, and my head still throbbed violently. I looked at Evans, he was staring at me and talking to another soldier with a red cross on his sleeve, maybe a military doctor. He slowly walked over to me and put his arms around me. "How bad is he?" "We don't know for sure, but he seems to have a big chunk of wood stuck through his ribs, they are clearing the debris away now and will get a better picture of it when they can get to him properly. Now, Adam, I want you to calm down a bit for me. Please take some deep breaths then I will take you over to the ambos, they can give you something, and attend to your bleeding. He is being attended to by the best, and will probably be moved to the military hospital for assessment. It looks bad Adam, but you know Kasey he will try his hardest to be with you, I'm sorry." I didn't hear the last part I was going deaf again, and I shook, I shook so hard and screamed so loud they tried to sedate me, and they would have succeeded except I pulled my arm away. I found an enormous amount of strength and shoved them off me, then I bolted. I didn't know what I was doing at the time, I just ran and ran, thinking this is a nightmare and if I go home Kasey will be there and he will protect me, shock and concussion does strange things to a person, and as I ran I lost my t-shirt, it had been shredded when I was thrown out the door, my jeans weren't much better and flapped hopelessly around my knees. I got to the building and pushed my floor. I didn't have my keys so I knocked on the janitor's door. "What the hells happened to you Adam me boy." "Keys, I lost my keys, can you let me in?" "Sure, wait a minute." He went and got them and it seemed like hours but it was only minutes. I shivered involuntarily in the lift as he tried to get me to talk, but as soon as my front door was opened I ran inside. I was looking for Kasey. John followed but I pushed him out. "Adam what's happened, you must tell me we have to call a doctor." "Bomb, a bomb exploded at the salon, I have to find Kasey." I slammed the door in his face and deadlocked it. I then chained and padlocked the beautiful wrought iron security gate's. I looked everywhere for Kasey, he wasn't home, he just wasn't at home. Then I fell in a heap at the table, I cried and cried my eyes out. I didn't know what to do, should I ring him, should I go back and try to find him, I reached over to the kitchen bench to pick up my phone, but I fell heavily on the floor. I woke two hours later, the sun was shining through my windows, and I had a certain calmness going on. I looked down I was red raw from gravel rash, and my jeans were nearly non-existent by now, my head ached from the bump I had received in the car park. Kasey, where are you, you should be home by now. I went to look in the bedroom then the doorbell started going off, at almost the same time my phone started ringing and I screamed because I had in my mind that Lloyd was trying to get to me. I screamed so loud it stopped for a moment, maybe he heard me. It started again a few seconds later. I went into the bedroom and crawled under the covers, I placed Kasey's pillow over my head and pushed the sound away, it stopped and I cried bitterly again. It was dusk when I came too, the apartment was in darkness as I moved the pillow and listened. There was no noise, everything was silent. I crawled out of bed and went to the toilet, then I looked in the mirror and saw the damage in the bright lighting. I brushed the gravel with a wet face cloth and removed some of the dirt and grit, then I applied some cream to it. My head ached and I took some Panadol. I chucked my underwear and found a clean pair of shorts to put on, they were Kasey's and I felt them caress me. I then went and poured myself a stiff drink. In my addled state, I was still waiting for Kasey to come home. I hadn't put any dinner on, so I guess we are eating out. I turned on the balcony lights and then it hit me when I saw Kasey's camouflage pants flapping in the gentle breeze on the small clothesline. He's dead, I knew he was dead, someone had told me he was, and I wept, deep and loud for my Kasey with a K. In my disturbed state of mind, I opened the sliding doors and walked out. I looked at the balcony rail and somehow I knew the pain would stop if I launched myself off it. I moved to the clothesline and took his pants and shirt off it, and then I dressed in their welcoming warmth. I heard noises coming from the distance, my doorbell started again and the noises in my head thumped louder. I put my arms up over my ears to muffle it but it got to the stage where I couldn't even think straight, and the lights, there were the brightest lights I have ever seen staring back at me. The noise was deafening, and when I saw two ropes drop to my balcony I screamed as I looked up, there was a helicopter hovering at the top of the building and two soldiers in full battle gear were being lowered. It was like a movie scene, and I was starring in it. I knew it was Lloyd coming to finally kill me, so I accepted my fate without question. I moved onto my knees and lowered my head, and then I waited for the gunshot. One guy jumped the last five feet and as he landed he took his helmet off and I saw that beautiful boys smile again, it was my Kasey. I was speechless as he walked towards me, he passed by and said. "Adam, can you fucking answer your door, for once in your life, do something right. There's a very distressed young lady wanting to see you, and why are you wearing my uniform?" I watched him unchain the security gates and push the enter button, the noises stopped. "KASEY!!" I screamed as I ran towards him, I jumped into his body my legs went around his waist and I held him tightly. His strong arms caught me, he was real. I stroked his head and hung on for dear life as I sobbed into his neck. Trish, Wilson, Hargraves, the Commander, and Tim came through the door she walked up to me and kissed my cheek, I was too busy looking into Kasey's eyes but I managed to grab her hand and squeeze it. "Jesus you queens are so fucking dramatic, Tim get us a scotch," Evans shouted out from the living room. I leaned in closer to Kasey's neck and whispered. "Kasey, I love you so much, don't ever do that to me again." "Do what baby?" "Invite Evans over without asking." We looked into each other's eyes and the giggling started moments later, amid the tears we both shed. He let me drop to the floor and I saw him for real, his head was scratched and bruised but I didn't see any deep gashes. He seemed thankfully unhurt, a bit of grazing and a few burns but the solid kitchen door had shielded him from the blast, I hugged Trish and asked her how the others were she said. "Janice has been taken to the Mater hospital to be observed for trauma the others have gone home, but they are being monitored just in case there's delayed shock." "How are you, my friend?" "Better than you apparently, I will be okay Adam I can shrug off drama in my life quite easily. My main concern is you and Janice, are you okay for real?" "I am now." I looked over at Kasey he was looking at me and he smiled, I nodded. "Yes, I will be okay Trish." She hugged me again. Then I started again and couldn't stop crying as I hugged Tim and then Evans, then the commander for saving us. I wanted to ask about Lloyd but didn't want to get into that right now. Evans and the boys, with the commander and Kasey, had walked out to the balcony, I saw Kasey with a small box in his hands I knew they were checking for bombs, which alerted me that it's not over yet. I opened a wine and told Tim to get whatever he wanted from the fridge, and I poured two glasses, one for me and one for Trish. We drank that one in record time then I poured another. "All clear here Adam, thank god." The commander looked up at my beautiful ceiling. "Adam, we got security in to board up the salon, the forensic team will be trawling through it most of the week, I don't think there's anything that salvageable, everything's a mash. Put your answering machine on, the press will be looking for you." He added. "What a headache, I can't even think about it just now, I'm just so grateful that no one was hurt." I suddenly swayed and fell heavily onto the sofa. "Adam are you okay?" "Yes, Kasey just some gravel rash and a shocker of a headache." "Show me." I took his army shirt off and he gasped." "Hargraves get the medics up here immediately. " Keith ordered. Trish went into the bathroom and filled a dish of warm water, then started gently washing the damage, I didn't feel a thing because Kasey was holding me. "Adam, why did you run home, why didn't you stay at the shop?" "I don't know Trish, I still don't know, but I think I was hallucinating." "That nasty bump on your head doesn't look too good maybe some concussion." "I felt like I had been heavily drugged." "It feels that way Adam, don't worry the doctors here, he will give you something." Hargraves showed the doctor in and he headed straight for me. "You really should be in hospital son, we need to monitor you, and you too Lieutenant, you need to be checked out thoroughly." "I will monitor him, Captain, I will be staying the night and can watch out for him, and in turn, he can watch me," Kasey said. "Well Lieutenant make sure you do, I don't think it's too bad but you never know, any changes and he's to get to the hospital pronto. In the meantime, I will go and get you some pain killers and antibiotics. I will get someone to drop them off." "Thank you," Kasey said quietly then he turned to me and smiled, then whispered. "Being locked up with you wouldn't be such a bad thing, my Adam with an A." I shivered and hurt at the same time. "He's in the lockup Adam, he's going nowhere," Kasey assured me because he knew what I had been thinking. "But Kasey when he gets out he will come looking for me, I know he will." I think I had this conversation with him a few weeks ago. "He won't you know, he won't be released for a very long time, not until they deem him fit to enter society again. And don't forget he will be charged with attempted murder and various other criminal activities including terrorism, that alone has a maximum of twenty-five years on it." I was having this conversation with my Kasey as he laced my now pink neck with soothing kisses. Everyone had finally cleared the apartment and left us alone, so after many kisses and gropes we went to try and shower. I gasped when I saw Kasey's torso, he had a bandage around it and I could see a bloodstain, why didn't he tell me he had been hurt. "It's just a big scratch Adam, the heavy door saved my life, thank god. But I will get you to give me a hand to redress it after we shower." He smiled then kissed me again. The steam from the shower was filling the room. As I took off his army pants and shorts I threw them into the wash basket, he stripped himself and stood there staring at me. "You're so beautiful Adam with an A, I could look at you like this all day and still not get enough of you. Can you stand there for a moment?" I knew what he was talking about because I was doing the same to him. He was magnificent in the nude, his chest thighs and arms were highlighted by the odorless grey steam. I reached out and placed my hand behind his neck then I leaned in and kissed his perfect full lips. He didn't resist as his left hand stroked my face gently. It was ages before we moved under the hot water, I undid the straps holding his bandage and let the bloodied fabric fall to the floor of the shower stall. I looked down and he was almost right, it was just a scratch, a big scratch with a few stitches pulling it together, he was lucky I didn't damage it when I jumped on him. "It's fine Adam, my ribs hurt more than the wound, I have the pain pills now, and will take one after I take care of you." "I only need the antibiotic cream done Kasey." I kissed his lips again. "No, I mean after I make love to you, the pill might not let me perform, and I want to perform for you tonight, and I need you as close to me as possible. They wanted to hospitalize me, but I knew you wouldn't survive the night without me." He knows me so well. I blushed and imagined us both in pain making love because we had to do it. We have to make each other better and then we have to have a good night's sleep, in each other's arms. When it happened it wasn't violent, it was gentle, and that full feeling was back as he loaded me with his love. I was puffing short breaths as I lifted myself off the bed and met his gentle strokes. He collapsed on top of me and I felt safe, and warm with him again. He gently rolled off me and lay on his back, he rubbed his bandages and looked at his hand, no blood. I moved in to hold him and his awesome leg bent to be placed between my legs, it was heavy but so wonderful as I kissed his face. "We need a holiday." He said. "I haven't had one of those for years," I replied. "Let's hire a car and go somewhere, just us two on our own." "That would be nice, but not yet I have so much to do. I have to get onto the insurance and start looking at opening another shop. I can't have my staff out of work for long. And there's Janice to consider, I don't know whether she will ever want to come back to work." "Do you have a plan Adam with an A?" "Not really, but I have been toying with opening another salon on the other side of the city, I guess my decision has been made for me. I have no idea where to start." "Okay, we can start by looking for a new shop tomorrow, or the day after." "Do you want to come with me?" "Yes, it will be our family business, so I should get some say in it." He giggled then he slowly moved down the bed, and I got excited because I knew what was coming my way. We both took pain killers and slept tightly wrapped in each other's arms, Kasey was as scared as I was, he just wasn't showing it, and I did hear him moan a couple of times during the night. When we woke we both hurt, and both of us reached for the pain pills again. He was still laughing at our sorry asses when I went to put the coffee on. I had slipped his undershorts on again and he was virtually chasing me around to have a good feel, the rash was drying out and it hurt when I bent my legs as the skin tried to stretch, it will be better with more cream on it. I handed him his coffee and whispered in his ear that I was going to have a shower in them at midnight tonight. I think that was his first hint that today will probably be full of sex and sweaty army issue underwear. We both eventually made it downstairs and I thanked John for all his help, then I apologized for my behavior and filled him in on what had happened. He said it was all over the news last night and this morning, he had some journalists banging on his door but he told them he had never heard of me. We hadn't turned the TV on so we didn't know what was being said. Kasey had to go into work and I had to go and see if anything was salvageable at the salon. I also needed to look at it in the cold light of day. A pleasant breakfast and a few of the cafe staff members talked with me, they had all seen the news and some footage of the blast on TV, and to their credit, they have turned away the press also. Kasey had it all planned in his head by now, we were going to look at some warehouses in the older part of Brisbane and maybe set up there, out of the way. He said that now it's all over he would take that two weeks' holiday he had started, and he will spend it with me. I said I had to go see Janice, and then talk to everyone to reassure them we will be up and running soon. In the meantime, the insurance will pay a percentage of their lost wages and I will make up the shortfall. "Just a tip Adam, don't talk to the press just yet, I have a plan." "Oh, well I won't be talking to them anyway I will leave the police to do that for me." We almost walked hand in hand up the street towards a blackened shell of a building, although with all the gravel rash I was finding it hard to move my legs properly the skin had tightened up again. It will take a few weeks to get them back into shape, but I will get it done. Kasey came with me because he wanted to talk to the forensic men that were still sifting through the mess. I stood at the non-existent front door and looked in, it broke my heart seeing it in that state and from where I stood there was nothing left, just the blackened shell. "The blast didn't damage the building Adam, it's all smoke and water damage, but you will need a new roof. The guys said its mostly window dressing, apart from the storeroom and tearoom, they will have to be rebuilt." "That's good to hear, can they tie Lloyd in with it?" "Yes Adam, he planted it all right, and they have plenty of evidence." He grinned. Kasey went to find the commander, and I walked off to go see the insurance company. It wasn't hard to convince them, as I said before it was all over the news. I then caught a cab and made my way to the Mater hospital. I asked about Janice Burden and was shown the route to get to her ward. As I stiffly walked into her room it sounded like a party was going on. Her mum and sisters were there, along with Trev Anne and Eva, I placed my flowers next to the others and leaned in and kissed her cheek. "How are you feeling?" "Better now Adam, is it all over?"
"Yes my lovely, they are sifting through the mess now, and when they are finished the insurance man will be in to assess the place." "It's good to see you in one piece, we were all so worried about you." She kissed me again. "I'm fine now, I had some concussion, and they will lock him up for a lot of years hopefully." "I pray that they do." Trev handed her some water and she sipped on it as she looked into his eyes. He then turned to me and said. "Welcome back boss." He hugged me so did Eva and Anna. They started talking about her coming home I thought it was too soon, but the doctor had said she could go home this afternoon, I was so thankful I had wonderful workmates around me. I explained to them about their wages and how it all works so they wouldn't be worried about money and told them if they needed any more they were to ask me. I stayed there until she started to get dressed then I said my goodbyes and walked to the nearest bus stop. I enjoyed my ride and was dropped off at the stop opposite my apartment. I wanted to go see what food I had left, then I was going to cook Kasey a meal, that is if he managed to restart his holidays. By the time I got in I was feeling a bit hot just thinking about him, but I don't think I'm going to be cooking tonight he was home and a wonderful smell wafted through the apartment. "Roast lamb, mum insisted we both knew how to cook it." He kissed me deeply. "Wow, my favorite meal. I never get a chance to cook it, thank you my young man." I kissed him back. He leaned in and kissed me again, then he went back to peeling the spuds. I changed then turned the TV on I wanted to see what was being said on the news. I relived the explosion because a few cars had caught it on dashcam, and they played them over and over again. I had enough and switched it over to the movie channel. Kasey was hard at work in the kitchen and I put another load of washing on. He was trying to normalize everything around me, but I was still worried about him. "Can you do me a favor later on Adam?" "Of course I can Kasey, what is it?" "Can you clipper my hair, it's getting a bit long?"
I had done his hair as best as I could at the salon, but I want him to get some more length in it. "Do you have some clippers?"
"Yes in my bag." I went to the bedroom and found his old beaten up ones then I threw them in the bin. "I want you to grow it for a couple of more weeks then I will do it properly. I was going to say come into the salon, but it's not there anymore." I giggled. "So that's settled then, you are starting to change me to the way you would like me to look?" "Yes." I laughed as I slipped my fingers through his hair, he will look good with a bit more length in it. "Do you want to do downstairs too?" He moaned in my ear. "No, and don't even think about putting a razor near that area, I love it just the way it is." The roast was superb, and I told him several times I had a surprise for him later on for being such a good cook, I was going to massage his aching muscles. We watched TV until it got the best of him of course, we were by now all horned up again. The night was a stellar performance, and Kasey starred as he groaned his way through the second act which involved me laying on his back. "Come on Adam with an A, we have things to do." "No work today?" "Oh I forgot to tell you, I got the two weeks off, I cited stress after the bomb incident." I threw myself into his arms and he grinned, then I couldn't resist and kissed him once again. "Where are we going, Kasey?"
"You will see baby, it's not far just a few stops." We had finished breakfast and were now on the bus that stops outside my building, going someplace unknown. Today it was sunny and I sat by the window in the warmth, he was holding my hand. We alighted five stops from my apartment, then he got his phone out and started using his GPS app. "It's just down here Adam, come on your going to like this surprise." "Where are we going, Kasey?" "To look at your new shop." He grinned at me. What the hell is he up to, I only mentioned I wanted to open a second shop I wasn't prepared to commit so soon, well maybe I have been forced into it. We stopped in front of an old solid brick warehouse, quite large from the outside but even bigger inside, it had an earthy personality of its own. Factories and lunch cafes were surrounding it and surprise, surprise, Kasey even produced a set of keys. "How did you get those?" "From work, I was talking to the commander about you losing business, and the staff being out of work, he mentioned some unused warehouses the Military still owned that were now empty, they only use them to store the cars and some junk now. I looked through the photos and write-ups they had online and this one was up for sale at a very good price. It won't take much to set it up Adam, all you need are chairs and mirrors maybe a chandelier or two, I would leave the walls and floors warehouse looking. I reckon it has a certain charm about it. The big plus is your well away from the Federal and police building." He grinned again. He's done very well on this one. I thought it was gorgeous. We looked around the place and I took photos, it was just a shell but the crisscrossed steel banding holding the walls together was beautiful and the large heavy wooden beams holding the roof up were awesome.
