Loving Conor - Chapter 1 -------------------------------------- Small towns... they do have their attraction and benefits. For a 45 year old bachelor, not so much. My name is Brandon. Up until two years ago, I had been living here in this little Arizona town with my wife, Julie. Both Julie and I were born and raised in Los Angeles, California. The first few years of dating and our marriage were full of wild parties and fun, but our crazy lifestyle finally caught up with us after way too many hangovers, bad trips, and sleepless nights. When Julie became pregnant, we decided it was time to make a change, so we moved to this lazy little desert town thinking it would be a better place to raise children. Unfortunately, we lost the baby when Julie was only seven months along. We tried again when Julie was ready, but lost another baby. Julie was diagnosed with cervical cancer soon after losing our second child. She put up a good fight, but the cancer had spread to her organs, and she finally succumbed to the disease. I loved Julie more than anything, and would have traded places with her if I had the choice. After Julie's passing, a good friend suggested that I get involved in some sort of physical activity to keep healthy and keep my mind occupied. I loved being outdoors, and took up mountain biking and circuit training. Beyond physical conditioning, the only thing I really had was my work, which was the only thing keeping me sane. I am an architect by trade, working for a large firm out of Phoenix. In the past, I would travel to clients, but with advances in technology and budget cuts, I do all of my work from home now. After about a year without Julie, I grew tired of being alone and decided to to try the local dating scene. I went out with a couple of attractive girls, but Julie was so special, and I realized that I would forever be making unfair comparisons to the woman I loved. There was another option, however. Before I met Julie, I had experimented sexually with other guys. I had even told Julie about my bisexual past, which she accepted without judgment, knowing that I was faithful to her alone. I knew that finding other men to date was going to be difficult at best unless I ventured to a larger town. I did try craigslist and a few apps, but nothing panned out. I needed to get out of Arizona and have some fun, and I finally got my chance. I received a voicemail from my cousin, Jim, who has a house in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Jim's father, my uncle, had broken his hip and needed help until a nurse could take over. Jim wanted to know if I could house sit for him. Even though I could work from anywhere, I needed a break, so I called my boss who said,"Brandon, you haven't used any vacation time in years; go enjoy yourself!" I called Jim back to let him know, and he said "Great! But you do realize it's Spring Break, right?" I said, "Well, I didn't realize it, but that just means people and parties, right?" Jim said, "Yeah, but it's not the 80's anymore. There's a whole lot more than wet t-shirt contests happening now, and this place is practically one giant orgy. Sexual barriers are gone. Guys are doing guys, and girls are doing girls and guys..." I cut him off and said, "Okay, I get the picture, but I can be open minded." Jim said, "Good. You need to know that I rent out rooms, and it can get a bit wild here. Don't worry, you won't be babysitting a bunch of snot nosed kids; they all know the house rules and police themselves well enough." I said, "Jim, you can count me in. I'll be there as soon as I can." I ended my call with Jim, went online to look at the available flights and booked the first flight out. I was excited for the change. In fact, I was so excited that I didn't any sleep. The next day, I spent time finishing up a work project before catching a ride with my neighbor to the small local airport. I took a short flight to Phoenix then transferred to a jetliner for the non stop flight to Florida. I was tired from not sleeping the night before, and found myself in a weird, half conscious dream. The pilot had been saying something about the flight, but then his voice seemed to be coming from an attractive man holding my hand. We were about to kiss, then... we were landing. After making my way off the plane, I started looking around for Jim but didn't see him. I was getting ready to call Jim, when I heard someone yell my name. I looked in the general direction of the voice, and saw a young man walking toward me, waving his hands and smiling. When he got close enough, he put his hand out and said "Hi, I'm Conor." We shook hands while Conor explained, "Jim had to take an earlier flight out than he anticipated. He's home packing, so he sent me." I said, it's very nice to meet you, Conor. How did you know who I was?" Conor pointed to the name tag on my suitcase, and said, "That, and Jim keeps updated pictures of all his family." Conor spoke with an Irish accent, not thick, but undeniably sexy. My eyes took Conor in from head to toe, and one word came to mind... stunning! Conor had golden wavy hair with a hint of red, cut just above his shoulders. He was about an inch shorter than me, which would make him 5'10". Conor's eyes were emerald green, sitting above a cute nose and a set of full, red, lips. Conor had gorgeous legs and a nice tan, and obviously spent time at the beach. He was wearing a plain white t-shirt, light brown shorts with pale blue stripes, and sandals. COnor's shirt was tight enough to see the impression of his nicely shaped chest, biceps, and chiseled abs. When I finally looked back up, my eyes met Conor's again, and I realized I was still holding his hand. Smiling, Conor said "Let's go get the rest of your luggage." I finally let go of Conor's hand and said, "No need; I only have this carry-on." Conor said, "Great, follow me." As Conor turned around to lead me to his car, I couldn't help but watch his nice, round, bubble butt flex with each step. It was warm out, and when Conor lifted his shirt to let the breeze hit his torso, I found myself wishing I were 20 years younger. On the ride to Jim's place, I told Conor that I hadn't been to Fort Lauderdale before, so he took the scenic route. Conor showed me some of the highlights of the area including some nude beaches he had been to... the thought of which wasn't helping the condition in my pants at all. We finally came to a stop in front of a large building not too far from the shore. Conor saw the confused look on my face and said "It used to be a hotel, built back in the 40s. Jim got it for a steal, then refurbished it." A sign over the main door read "The House". Conor used a key card at the entrance and we entered the interesting building. As soon as we walked in, Jim ran up and gave me a bear hug. Jim and I had grown up together for most of our childhood years. Even though Jim was six years older than me, we were more like brothers than cousins. Jim and I were always testing limits and pushing boundaries, and had earned the label "trouble makers". Jim moved to Ireland just after graduating from High School and continued his education there. Unfortunately, Jim and I didn't really keep in touch over the years. I hadn't seen Jim in person since Julie's funeral, and we had only talked briefly then. Jim led me through a short hallway into a large lounge area, then handed me a notebook and said, "I wish I could stay, Brandon. We'll have to make plans to get together soon, it's been way too long. This notebook has a keycard for you, a guest roster, house rules, and some other things. If you have any questions or need anything, you can count on Conor. Just relax and have fun. If you are up for it, I'm sure you can find someone to have fun with!" Jim winked at me, then Conor appeared on a set of stairs, carrying a large suitcase. Jim said, "Conor, you didn't have to haul that thing down here. Thanks for saving me the trip, though." Conor smiled and said, "Hey, it's not a problem. I'll take it to your car." As they headed back toward the hallway, Jim pointed at the stairs and said, "You can use my room while you are here. I emptied some drawers in the dresser for you!" I took a look around the immediate area, noticing a bar, couches, large bean bags, a large flat panel screen, and another hallway. The floors of the room were stained concrete, and the walls were mostly plaster which had fallen away in areas revealing old, red, brick. The place was rough around the edges but had a lot of charm and character, just like Jim. I thought of looking around, but decided to wait for Conor, so I went up the stairs that Jim pointed out to a large loft area. Besides regular bedroom furniture, there was a small sitting table and chairs, another TV, and a desk. At the back of the room was a partial wall, and behind the wall was the bathroom. I found the empty drawer that Jim had mentioned and unpacked my suitcase. After putting my stuff away, I sat down for a bit and flipped through the notebook Jim gave me. I looked at the guest roster with 22 guests, an activity calendar which showed that tonight was game night, my key card, and a note from Jim. The note read "Brandon, I hope you have a good time while you are here. If you still have the touch (referring to the fact that I won a mixology contest in college) the guests could use a bartender in my absence. See you soon, Jim." I found "The House" rules, of which there were few. I took note that no visitors were allowed after 11 pm, and everyone had to turn their car keys in at the door. No one would be allowed to leave unless they were sober... good rules. I was feeling grungy after the flight, and decided to take a shower. I grabbed a t-shirt, shorts, and sandals and headed in the bathroom. It was apparent that Jim wasn't much for privacy since there was no door to the loft, bathroom, or shower. I let the water heat up, stripped my clothes off, and got in. The warm water hitting my skin felt good, and I took my time. My mind was full of the day's events and the new scenery, and I couldn't stop thinking about Conor. I had just finished rinsing my hair and opened my eyes... and Conor was standing right in front of me, hanging a towel on a ring. I startled a bit, and said "Conor?" Conor replied, "Sorry. I realized the clean towels hadn't come back up from the laundry, so I brought you one. I hope you don't mind." I said, "I don't mind. Thank you, Conor." Conor glanced at me, flashing a smile, then left the room. I had no idea how long the handsome young man had been standing there, but I didn't mind... I didn't mind at all. After I got cleaned up, I went back downstairs. I heard clinking noises from behind the bar, and saw hands reaching up, grabbing glasses from a tray. I peeked over to see Conor, who put the last glass away then stood up. Conor smiled his pretty smile at me again, which was about to drive me crazy. I forced myself to remember that I was probably old enough to be his father, and that he may not even be into guys. Conor said "I just finished up here, did you get a look around yet?" I answered, "Not yet." "Good, I'll give you the grand tour then, if you want." I nodded and smiled, more than happy to follow Conor around. "Well, this is the common room. There is a stereo system back here, and controls for lighting, surround sound, and the television." Conor came from around the bar and waved for me to follow. We walked across to a long hallway with doors along the wall and a set of stairs at the far end. Conor said, "There are 20 guest rooms, 10 down here, and 10 upstairs." I counted 12 doors. Conor answered my unasked question saying, "That door leads to the kitchen, and the one in front of us is an... um... well... kind of a recreation room." The last room he pointed out had a red door. Conor said, "I better show you." Conor opened the red door, and my mouth fell open. The walls of the Red room were covered with mirrors, and in the center of the room was a dance pole. There was a sex sling in one corner, a post with chains and cuffs in another, a massage table, and various other pieces of equipment I had never seen before. There was also a drain in the floor, and a hose hooked on the wall... and I could imagine why. Conor chuckled, and said "We call this The Red room. What do you think?" I couldn't even formulate an answer, and only managed to get out "Wow!" Conor laughed and said, "Right?" Then said, "Let's move on." We left the Red room and walked down a few doors. Conor said, "This is my room. Feel free to stop by if you ever need anything." Conor opened the door and took two steps inside. I took one step in behind him. Conor's room was very clean, and decorated in mostly grey, black, and white fabrics. There were poster sized photographs on Conor's wall, all with with nude men, women, or both in various sex scenes. The photos were all in black and white, and were obviously taken by a professional photographer. Conor asked, "What do you think?" I answered, "They are amazing. Who took them?" Conor smiled and answered, "It's my work. Photography and the human form are my passions." I looked at Conor and said, "Well, you certainly have talent. They're incredibly erotic but still very tasteful." Conor actually blushed and said, "Thank you, that means a lot to me." Then asked, "Would you like something to eat? I'm hungry." I hadn't realized it, but I was famished, and accepted Conor's offer. Conor and I made our way to the kitchen. The menu that I had seen in Jim's folder was from a catering company that delivered food each day during Spring Break. There were round tables in the dining room area of the kitchen, set up restaurant style. Conor had me take a seat, and he grabbed some foil covered plates from a large bin. I waited until Conor was facing away from me and adjusted the semi-hard cock in my shorts. Conor brought the plates over, then said "Today's fare is duck ravioli and caesar salad. I hope you like it." I said, "I'm sure I will, thank you." Conor looked away, as if contemplating something, then said, "I'll be right back." Conor was gone for about 20 seconds, returning with a bottle of red wine. "I got this from one of my clients, but I was waiting to open it until I could share it. It's supposed to be good stuff, but to be honest, I don't know much about wine." He grabbed two wine glasses from a shelf, uncorked the bottle and filled the glasses. I said, "That's very generous of you, Conor." Conor didn't reply, but just smiled at me as he sat in the chair next to mine. As we ate and sipped wine, we chatted about our pasts. I told Conor about Julie, and I could see compassion in his brilliant eyes. I was just about to ask Conor how he came to be at The House, when it dawned on me. "Wait, are you Nancy's son?" Conor smiled and nodded his head. Nancy was a girl Jim had met in Ireland. They dated for awhile, and Jim wanted to marry her, but she got heavy into drugs and alcohol and left Jim for another guy. Conor explained how his mother had tried her best, but could never get cleaned up. "My mom had always regretted losing Jim. He was the only one that really cared for her. When my biological father left, she sent me here, and Jim took me in as his own. He's like a father to me." At this point, I felt a bit awkward at being attracted to Conor... but still, there was just something about him that I was drawn to, and not just his good looks. It got quiet for bit as we finished our meals, then I asked Conor "So, who's the lucky guy or girl?" Conor asked "Lucky?" I rephrased my question "I'm just wondering if you have a boyfriend or girlfriend?" Conor looked more serious than I had seen him so far as he answered, "Oh, I've had relationships with both, but no one at the moment. I've been too busy with my photography business and keeping up with this place." then he asked, "What about you? An attractive guy like you; surely you have people lining up for a date." It was my turn to blush. I said, "Thanks, but I haven't really connected with anyone since... wait, you think I'm attractive?" Conor set his glass down, looked into my eyes and said, "If you don't mind my saying, I think you are extremely attractive." I looked longingly at Conor and said, "I don't mind at all, in fact, if I were your age I would..." Conor interrupted, "If you were my age, I probably wouldn't be interested in you." I felt Conor's leg touch mine, then he reached over and put his hand over my hand, and chills went through my entire body. As if cued by some silent force, we both leaned in to kiss each other's lips, then... echos of voices came from the other room. Conor pulled away, looked at the clock on his phone and said, "Oh shit, it's that time. I have a few things to do, but we can catch up where we left off later tonight." then took off out of the doorway.
