I told her my plan to have Rose look after the boys. I reasoned that she needed them and their gayness in her life. She had many plans to join in on her son's gay life but that never happened. "I know son, I am just having a lend of Rose that's all" "Thank you mum, she needs the extra banter," I smirked. I missed my son so I walked across to the workshop and found him banging on his high chair with a stick, March was nowhere to be seen, but dad had his eye on him. I know even if he is a brainiac, he will be wearing greasy overalls by the time he turns seven, even earlier if March has his way. I kissed him and went into the gym my man was lifting weights so I sat on the bench next to him. "I can see that's doing great things to your chest March." "Nicky don't talk to me I have to concentrate." I ran my open hand across it and moaned. "Damn you Nicky, now you have gone and done it again." "Sorry." I stood up and almost thrust my package into his face then went back to my desk. I grabbed Cory's money tin and started sorting the coins out. One eye was on March one on the money he had moved to the floor and was doing some bum exercises, and it was pointed my way. Cory had three hundred dollars in his tin and some change, I messaged mum to see if she would take it and a quick reply confirmed she will change it. I bent over March and whispered that I was going across the road and while I did that my hand rubbed his perineum softly. He moaned and lost his concentration again, so I giggled and went to see mum. "He is popular all right he's collected three hundred so far." "How much are you up to Nicky?" "Around fifteen hundred, I don't want to go door knocking I got enough." She handed over the notes and I walked back to the gym and place them in an envelope and then into my backpack. March had finished exercising and was now talking to dad about a car. Bubs had settled down so I took him and placed him in the ball pool. He played for a bit then went to sleep. I haven't heard from Tom or Pete so I suppose they are still looking at houses in the area. I looked at the local page and nothing important has popped up, my town is quiet once more. The weather is becoming hot and this is when we all become vigilant. March has done three spot fires so far and hopefully, that's all there will be. I played a few games and then got bored so I headed across the road to get a coffee, the boys are keeping an eye on bub once again. Faith bought it out with one for herself. "Break time." She smiled. "Are you enjoying yourself?" "Yes Nicky, everything has shifted back to where it should be, and as for work, I never thought I would be a working girl again and I am loving it. At the farm, I never saw any strangers so all I have to talk to was my family. I'm loving coming here, it's given me a freedom back I thought I had lost." "Well, you do seem happier nowadays." "I am, now I have spoken to May about those letters I found and she told me that March is going to burn them." "Yes he is and that will be the end of it, he's like you, back to where he was and the baby has placed a big smile on his face." "All of us have smiles for May and Jason, she's out the back looking for names." "It's a bit early for that Faith and anyway I thought she would use her mum and dad's names." "I think she wants something unique Nicky, but I am not certain." "You want me to find out do you?" "If you wouldn't mind, it will give me a step up on Rose and Mary, those two are certainly competitive." "Just banter Faith, nothing to see here except mum's a bit miffed the boys wanted to stay with Rose." "They could have come out to the farm." "There are plenty of places they can stay, I think they are looking at rentals today." "He's coming." "Who?" "March, get ready." I sat up straight and when it happened it made my spine shiver, he kissed the back of my neck and said. "You didn't wait for me." "I was bored so I came across ten minutes ago, you looked busy." Dad joined us and I winked at Faith, I will have a word to May when I can. I got a message from Keith, bubs is stirring so I went over to get him. He was wet so I changed his nappy and jumpsuit, he will be losing them soon, I think shorts and tops will be his uniform from now on, he only wears shorts to sleep in now it's hotter. I kissed him and thanked Keith then went back to the cafe, March took him and was asking him so many questions he sat up straight and said. "Dad." His arms went out and I took him much to March's dismay. Faith went back to work and my dad ordered something to eat. "Have they rung you yet Nicky?" "Who?" "Tom and Pete." "No, I guess there are a lot of houses to look at. Hopefully, they will be successful." "They will, Nicky I am a bit concerned." "They won't interfere with us baby," "No Nudge was telling me he bought a big screen TV off Pete yesterday, under the counter so I am concerned." I laughed. "What so funny?" "I thought Nudge and Pete were exchanging numbers March, for a date." "Nudge wouldn't do that to his family Nicky, he does like a bargain though." "Well Rose bought one also and I suspect Cory has a new one too. Do you want one?" He looked down at his hands. "I would love a bigger TV Nicky but I'm worried, that's all." "March wherever they got them from would have had insurance, they would have over-claimed. The ones they are selling won't have guarantees so if anything goes wrong with them they will probably be chucked." "No Nicky that's not what I mean. I'm worried that the town will be a dumping place for stolen goods." "I doubt they have much March, they have been selling it in the city also." Dad came back and we shut up, he knew something was up and he passed over a bowl of peas mash and gravy for Mase. I started feeding him, and he was hungry. "So did you buy one?" "Buy one what dad?" March said. "TV." "Yes." March started laughing. "You what?" I was surprised. "I bought one, but now I am worried the cops will get me and put me in jail." "March Stephenson I will slap you, how big is it?" "Sixty-five inches." Good, it was bigger than Matts and mine so I can put that one out on the porch. Sometimes he is predictable and sometimes he surprises me, but I do know he's excited to have done something illegal. The boys pulled up just as March and I had started eating, I nearly choked because they both had lycra shorts on and nothing was hidden. I think March is looking because his head was down but his eyes were wide open. They ordered lunch and Rose followed them out, I guess she's having a good look also. "How did you go?" "You never told me about the fun run Nicky." "It's all over the local page Tom," "I haven't looked for a while." "Don't even think about it, you couldn't beat me at school, and you certainly won't up here." I smiled. "I could try." "You could but I strongly advise you against entering." "Yes, mum." "Now how did you go, once again?" "We found one in the next town, cheap rental, furnished, new kitchen and bathroom." "Sounds good." "There is a big shed out back we can keep our cleaning stuff out there." "Even better." "You are running with a wheelchair aren't you?" "Yes." I stared at Tom until he shut up, I also caught Rose having a sneaky peek. Pete got up he wanted some more potato, and March groaned. "Something up baby?" "Yes definitely Nicky, hurry up." I fixed my husband up and he gushed buckets. "I don't know how to do this March, you can either sleep with him or I will join you." "What?" "Your obsession with Pete's ass." "I am not obsessed." "But you groaned." "Because I did get stiff, and I was sitting there comparing you to him." "And what was the verdict?" "My god Nicky, always you, forever you. Can you bend over now?" "Again?" "Yes please, do you have any of those lycra shorts?" "In the drawer March, I will wear them tomorrow." "If you want a clip under the ear you can." "Tonight then." "Better." His phone rang not long after he took me to the moon and back. I went back to work and he poked his head in. "Barry's finished Nicky, all good to go." He gave me a thumbs up and I thought I might take a run to have a look at the room. I also thought I might do the whole run on the weekend, just to check my times. I'm not paranoid about Tom running although he was pretty good at school. We didn't go to the clearing today March was excited to see Mason's room so we headed home. He was first in the door and opened the bedroom, it was beautiful a very pale blue with white ceilings and surrounds. The window was still open to let the fumes out and Barry had done a wonderful job. Bubs didn't guess what was happening he headed for some toys in the family room, then he threw them into his tent and crawled in. That tent was stacked with his favorite toys and the best thing about it was the room looked tidier. I asked him what he wanted for dinner he said we will have pizza. "I have some stuff here March, and there is plenty of time to cook." "But you won't have time for me Nicky, that's the best part of the day." "Pizza it is then, I sat on the sofa and tried to imagine a bigger tv on our wall, he got the measuring tape out and nodded. "I am going to set it back into the wall then hang a big picture over it." "Why?" This will be good. "So if the cops come here looking we can hide it." "Sounds good to me March." "I got you an air fryer too they are healthy to use." "And?" "Aww Nicky, Pete had a special on lawnmowers so I bought myself a present." "Anything else?" "He is going to make up a list." He blushed and grinned at the same time, I pulled him down onto the couch and kissed him. "I figured we could tell them they were wedding presents." "Tell who March?" "The cops." "I doubt they will be chasing after the buyers March, it will be Tom and Pete they will come looking for." "Okay, then I don't feel so bad then." "Of course you don't, tub?" He started laughing and was enjoying his walk on the wild side, he then pulled his shorts down and my God he was as stiff as a board, this shit does turn him on. Eventually we headed for the tub, Mase had finished his playing and was eager to join us. We three relaxed and bubs was talking to himself while splashing around. I had taken my phone with me and perused the local site, some has posted that they got a new tv cheap and of course everyone wanted to know where from. I knew this would happen I had better have another word with the boys I suppose. We ordered dinner and chilled in front of the tv, Mason had been bathed and was playing in his shorts and singlet. March was on his phone thanking Barry for doing a beautiful job. He looked at the local page, he does that often just to see if anyone wants some help. "Did you see the post about the tv's for sale?" "No, when was it posted?" "About an hour ago, just search for it." "No not on here Nicky, maybe Brenda deleted it." I suppose she bought one also, my God how many have they got in stock? "Maybe she did March, something like that shouldn't even be put out in the public domain." "No, it's for us only Nicky after all they are our friends." "Yes they are baby." I smiled to myself. I have a constant thought tonight that March may have bought more than he said, after all, he loves a bargain. I told him I was going for a long run on Saturday and I might do the whole race circuit to check my times. Tom and Pete were at the cafe early, apparently, they had to go into the city to grab something last night and Rose went along for the ride. I think they were there to talk to customers because I overheard Pete say to March he will place his order on our back porch. My baby hadn't been in a very good mood today he was being quite noisy this morning so I dragged his tent into his room and made him play in there. This simple gesture for my peace and quiet ended up in a screaming match with him, his tent was promptly dragged back into the family room, but he's not one to forget. So he didn't want me to take him to the car, or to feed him this morning. Now he's cuddled up in March's arms but that's okay son, I will play your game, for now. Jack was there having breakfast and he smiled at me. "You were right Nicky, I did very well yesterday and the notes under the door this morning tell me I am going to do it all over again today." "Good Jack, I think the locals are very happy your here again and bringing a much-needed store into the community." "Well they are a great bunch of people, Stephenson did you buy a big tv?' "No," March said. "Why not, they are cheap?" "I like to keep myself legit Jack." He started laughing and replied. "You keep believing that March." He winked at me. We walked back across the road, I went to take Mason but he is still in his mood so I said to March. "I guess he's yours until he settles down." He grinned and placed him in his high chair, let's see you get out of that one baby. The gym was busy today and the guys went about doing their sets. I checked my emails and bank balances then made two new member cards. I set them aside and then researched sports wheelchairs for hire. There was one store just on the city limits, not far to go, so I rang them and got a quote. I booked one for two weeks and told them I would pick it up on Monday. With that all done I thought I might put some washing on then poke my head in to see if my boy is ready for a morning nap. After I did this I went into the workshop. March was on his phone and bub was fast asleep in the back seat of a car, so I gently picked him up and placed him into the ball pool. March came in and sat with me. "Nicky is it all right if I go with May and Jason tomorrow?" "Where are they going?" "She is having a scan and I want to be there, but if you have other plans I won't go." "Please March you don't have to get my permission, just let me know where you will be. You need to be there anyway." "Thank you." "What time are they going?" "Early, about nine I think." "Will they pick you up?" "I don't know." "Duck across the road and ask her then, you don't want to miss out." He kissed me then he left to do that job. Nudge came in all smiles, he must have received his new tv. I made sure bubs was okay then I went to hang the washing out. I didn't want to go with March tomorrow, that's something I thought he should be doing with his sister. They will update me when they get back and maybe I will get to find out the sex of the baby. My day was getting better as the gym filled up and bub woke up, I made him some warm milk, and his little spat was all forgotten. I kissed him many times and he rewarded me with a dada and a smile. "They will pick me up at nine Nicky, here." "You could meet them across the road March." "Okay. I will do that then." I rolled my eyes once again, he laughed. The day was very slow and while dad and March worked on some very fancy cars I played my games, Nudge was adding weights like crazy so I had to intervene. "Nudge please don't overdo it." "Just trying to up them a bit." "You don't need it and life is better with a healthy spine, not a damaged one." He thought about it and took the new weights off the bar. He will probably try it again when I am not around, the guys are always pushing themselves to the limit, it's a game I wish they wouldn't play. We locked up and once again we didn't go to the clearing, I am kind of missing going there but March has a big date with a tv and air fryer. My back porch was full of stuff when I opened the doors. I could see the tv carton and the others made me smile. He didn't just stop at one or two items he had bought a dozen. He was like a fat kid in a candy store, the boxes were opened and he was placing items on the big table. Bubs was helping by playing with the empty boxes. "Are you sure you bought enough March?" "Yes Nicky it was so cheap I kept shopping without thinking." "I am sure you were very excited." I looked at the toaster and kettle, the new coffee machine was nice, the small bar fridge and the stereo system was top of the range, a sound bar, and wireless usb speaker and much more. Now my home is full of useless objects that may cause us to be raided by the police. He put everything back into their boxes and said we would keep it in the garage until he feels more comfortable with having it around. He then grabbed the tv and started installing it, the old one was placed on the verandah and the new one sat in its place. Bubs was watching his dad but must have got bored so he started bringing the cartons inside to play with. I watched him struggle with the tv one it was too big for him but decided not to interfere he may not talk to me ever again. He sat on the couch and began tuning the tv in then he hooked it up to the internet and continued to download his favorite apps. This all took time so I had reasoned that there will be no tubbing it tonight either. I used the old barbeque because the new one was still packed away, I had some sausages for Mason and steak for March and myself. I peeled veggies and stuck them in the oven, Mase played with his cartons and March played with his soundbar. The whole thing was a big production and although he didn't have a choice my bubs was finally seated next to his dad to watch their favorite shows. I placed the food in the oven and sat at the table, I was eating and looking through the local page, several times I said to March that dinner was ready and when Mase slipped down onto the floor he wobbled over to me to get his sausages and potato. I cleaned up and another show finished. "Nicky time for a tub." "Too late March, come and get your dinner." "What are we having?" "Steak and veggies." "Why didn't you tell me, I'm starving." I rolled my eyes once again then went to get his dinner out of the oven. Bubs happily played with his new toys (cartons) and I went to clean the barbeque. "You're not eating?" I heard. "No March I'm on a diet." "Oh, good." He wasn't with me at all tonight, and the more he discovered what the new tv did, the more he was glued to the big screen. I bathed Mase and dressed him for bed, then I remembered something, so I went to his bedroom and opened the door. I was faced with cows chooks and horses on the walls, sheep some dogs and it was all perfect, fencing a barn the whole kit and caboodle. No drapes but they will be here soon. I went to pick Mason up and he almost started again until he saw his room. He screamed then hid his face in my neck, screamed again, and started making chook and cow noises. I put him down and he almost ran to have a closer look, His hands slapped at the cows then the horses got a good talking to. This room was awesome and he will get many hours of pleasure out of them. He hadn't painted them on the walls like I thought, they were all stick-on images, I left him there and went to break up the cartons, stacking them on the porch I will get March to burn them on the weekend. After rolling his crib and floor pillows into the room, I made some milk and placed bub into his cot. He talked drank laughed and amused himself immensely. I didn't shut the door but I did drop my shorts to get into bed. March must have finally realized it was late he ran into the bedroom and said. "You didn't wait for me?" "March it's ten thirty." I put my magazine down. He dropped all his clothes and once again I gasped. He turned around to kiss Mason good night but no crib. "He is in his new room." I smiled. "What?" "You know his new room that Barry was finishing today." He looked at me then Mason's room then he rushed off, I hope he doesn't wake him. Such is my life with March Stephenson, so much to do and so much to play with, when he eventually came back I asked if Mase was asleep and he confirmed that he was. He then started going on about the room and how nice it looked then the tv then the other stuff he had bought. I get it, he was excited to have new stuff, and to be a criminal. I turned my lamp off and rolled over to go to sleep, I was disturbed by the tapping on my shoulder. "Nicky are you still awake?" "Yes March what is it?" "I um, I have a problem." "Okay you want your suck?" "No I don't know where to place the stereo." I gave him a few minutes to stop laughing, then his dick was nudging my ass, thank god, he's back. Bubs slept through the night, but around six I heard him talking to his friends, he mooed, clucked, and whinnied. I threw the sheet back and headed for his room, he was all smiles and halfway over the railing. I put him on the floor and then I went to make up some milk and coffee. I looked at the big tv and like the sideboard it seemed to take over the room. Mason waddled out he was still talking to himself so I picked him up and felt around his nappy. Laying him on his change table I washed him down and refreshed his soaked one with a new one. I played with him for a few minutes, he giggled and slapped away at my face, he does like his morning kisses. I placed him on the floor and handed a bottle to him then I watched as he headed back to his bedroom. I shouldn't be so confident that he will automatically love sleeping in the room, but we have had one undisturbed night with no dramas. I turned the tv on and it came to life., it's just for background noise. Sitting at the table I caught a movement and looked up, he was heading for our bedroom, the giggling started not long after that. March came out with the boy over his shoulder, he was giving him a sort of horsy ride. He kissed me asked for coffee and sat at the table playing. "What will we do with Mason tomorrow morning?" He asked. "I'll take him with me March." "All that way?" "Yes, he will probably fall asleep and it will be good training for me to push something." "Okay, so you won't get mum to look after him then?" "She has work March, if he gets antsy I will come home and you can't take him with you." "All right so it's all settled." "Yes." I smiled, it was about then that there was a knock on the door. "Police?" He jumped up. "Let me get this." I laughed. I went to the front door and greeted Barry, he was here to collect his payment from March. I showed him into the back room and sure enough, I started laughing, March had draped a small blanket over the tv. "You could have at least turned it off March." Barry laughed at March's red face. "Sorry, Barry you can't be too careful nowadays." "I put mine in the man shed all locked away." "Good idea, Nicky?" "No." I quickly answered. "Here's my account, Rose will have one also when she's done, and thank you little Mason for the job." He patted bubs head. I swept up the bill and looked at March there is no way he is going to pay for all of this on his own. "Cash okay Barry?" "Cash is good, take ten percent off." I did that and went to the kitchen and got my cash pot out. Barry played with Mason and asked him if he liked the animals so bubs had to drag him into the bedroom and show him. "It looks wonderful mate, a good job indeed, he slept soundly in there last night, let's hope it continues," I said. "It all takes time, when he's sick of looking at them he may come looking for his old bedroom." He smiled. I handed him the cash and he left shortly after. "You didn't think it was the cops did you?" "Yes, I did." "I see." I giggled then I went to make breakfast. "I will give you half Nicky later on." "Already done March a lot of the tin money is yours." "How do you figure that one?" "Money I find in your overall pockets I pinch it for our tin, you have plenty in there." "Oh." "Two or three eggs?" "Three." On Saturday morning I readied bubs for his big run and March was worried about it, I reasoned with him at the doctor's he wouldn't be allowed to have a baby in the room, I have had an ultrasound and those rooms are small compared with the x-ray rooms and such. I kissed him goodbye and with my baby, I set off for a long run. Bubs was screaming into the wind and I was trying to control my breathing, seven and a half K's there and the same back. I ran past our clearing then the veggie barn and had settled into a decent speed, the trick is not to tire yourself out early just go with the flow. As expected he did go to sleep my breathing was steady and I had no problems doing the first stint. I checked my times and although slower than my best I was doing ok. Halfway back I tripped and skinned my knee, so I wrapped a small cloth around it, just broken skin no gouges today. I started again and fifty-five minutes later I was standing outside the garage catching my breath and doing some stretches. The run wasn't long, or far. I suppose it was designed as a fun run for the locals, not a full-on professional run. I walked into the garage dad was under a car and I said hello. Bubs wanted out and started looking for March, I explained to him he wasn't far away. "Work?" "Not today baby, " He bent down and looked under the car. "Pa oil?" "No thank you grandson, how did the run go?" "Good." "Did you have a sleep?" "Good." Bubs crawled under the car, now I have lost him to my father because I heard his scream. "I help?" Everything is a question now, I can't wait until he can talk fully maybe he will stop asking questions. Now come on we all know that isn't true there will be plenty of them. "Coffee dad?" oops. "In a minute you go and order I will bring bubbie with me." I took the stroller into the gym it was quiet, so I parked it in its spot and went across the road. Faith was there this morning she had been dropping off some food for mum, so I said my good mornings and made dad and myself coffee, I also grabbed an egg and bacon roll. "How was the run Nicky?' "Good mum fifty maybe fifty-five minutes I had to stop for a minute to fix my knee." "What happened?" "I tripped over because I wasn't concentrating that all no permanent damage." "Let's have a look at it," Faith said. I took the coffee outside and Faith went to find the medical box. It bought back a memory of when March had grazed his finger and I smiled. "You look happy." "Just thinking back to when I first arrived in town, March had jammed his finger and I patched it up. The medical box bough that to mind." "Memories are good to have Nicky, one little thing sparks them for me." "Me too Faith, how is everything at the farm?" "Couldn't be better, although Hanks blubbering on about all the paperwork he is doing." She giggled. My makeshift bandage was taken off, not much blood and it had started drying so she cleaned it and surprisingly it looked a lot better. Just a big band-aid and some cream did the job, I will take it off later on so the air can get to it. "All fixed son?" "Yes dad." He passed bubs to Faith who enclosed him into her ample bosom to give him a kiss and a hug. "What happened?" "I tripped no biggie dad." "What time did you say you did?" "About fifty-five." "That's good, not so long ago you would have done it in forty." "I'm a married father now, there's got to be a little slowing down." "Nicky did you find out any names yet?" Faith suddenly remembered our conversation. "No, nothing coming my way Faith, maybe after today they will find out the sex." "Okay don't forget me." "I won't." I smiled at her. "Well I had better get going, Jimmy wants to clean the fridges today and I have to supervise." She chuckled. "You are still holding him to that?" "Yes Nicky, he's registered on the online University. It doesn't start for another four weeks so he's got nothing to do except clean." "Is he doing agriculture?" "Yes my boy." "Good." Jason's car came up the street and parked outside the cafe. March was the first one out and he almost bowled a chair over getting to the table, he kissed me and asked how my run went. That was short-lived when he saw my band-aid. "What happened?" "I was running too fast and a car made some stones fly up and one hit me on the knee." "You fell over?' "No, just some gravel." "You fell over." He grinned. "I fell over." I giggled he knows everything that man of mine. May and Jason went to get coffee and then they sat with us, Faith was all ears but they never said anything about the new baby, only that it is healthy and the right size. "Sex?" "No thank you Nicky," Jason said. "I meant what sex is she or he?" "We didn't want to know we want to be surprised." I looked at Faith and she said. "Sure?" "Yes, very sure we don't want to know." "Names?" "Not anything solid yet Faith." May was tight-lipped and I know she won't tell me, she knows I will tell March. "Daddy," Mase said. March went to pick him up from Faith's lap. "No, daddy." "I thought you wanted me." "No daddy bubbies daddy names." I looked at May she was blushing. "Maybe you shouldn't ask your nephew what name he likes the best." She clammed up and took bub, no one had picked up on it. March went about his business ordering a double breakfast burger for him and dad and Faith was preparing to go back to the farm. "It suits both genders Nicky, and I do love that name very much," May whispered to me. I tickled Mason and told him he was a very clever boy, he laughed as the passer byes stopped to smile.
