25.

Things have gotten off to rough start since they got home. Robbie had to rush
off to work, but for how long?? Tommy left to deal with unpacking and getting
the laundry sorted. Elsa came up to help, bringing Daryl along to learn about

When Elsa arrived, Tommy had separated things for the laundry, dry cleaning,
etc. Elsa had Daryl take the dirty clothes down to the laundry room while she
dealt with the dry cleaning and said she would have them picked up in the
morning. Tommy was elated that it was done! He walked down to Ben and
Carlton's suite and asked what they wanted to do about dinner this evening.
Ben said, "You know we have been eating in restaurants for almost 10 days.
Would it be too much trouble for Elsa to make a roast chicken dinner with
dressing, green beans and her fabulous biscuits? It would be great to have a
simple and wonderful home-cooked meal!"

Tommy replied,  "I will certainly ask her. How about we be really casual and eat
in the breakfast room instead of the dining room?"

Tommy picked up the house phone and asked Elsa if that menu would do for
tonight, and if she would join them for supper? Elsa quickly replied that she it
was an easy request and simple to do. "So dinner about 7:00. Of course, I would
be happy to join you!!" She hung up laughing.

Tommy decided to lay down, read and relax. He was already missing Robbie,
but they had been together for almost two solid weeks and a break would be

He picked up the phone and called Robbie's cell.  He picked up right away.
"Tommy, I was about to call you to say how much I missed you."

blue cheese on top.

The main course included braised beef short ribs in a red wine reduction, glazed
carrots and roasted potatoes. Dessert featured chocolate/raspberry cake with
chocolate ganache frosting, fresh raspberries on the side with a sprig of mint.
This completed the offering. Candles adorned the tables.

In the Main Dining Room, a Southern-style menu was being offered this week. It
featured a Gumbo soup offered for a starter, Southern Fried Chicken, mashed
potatoes, peas, country milk gravy, and biscuits, of course.

Options included black-eyed peas with ham, cornbread, fresh greens, Blackened
Catfish, hushpuppies and dirty rice. Mud Pie was offered for dessert.

Things were going well and guests had started to arrive, not only for the dining
room, but 4-5 guests for the banquet. It was to be a birthday party and guests
were honoring a 21-year-old woman named Claire.  The affair was not only for
her birthday, but her graduation from college following three grueling years.
Her family and friends were justifiably proud of her accomplishments. They
brought flowers and a couple of bottles of champagne. Her grandparents had
surprised her by coming and not telling her.

They were giving her and a companion a cruise for seven days to Mexico. She
had been going with Mike, a very nice man for nearly two years and the family

will be back in the morning to count everything up."

"Not at the moment, and we realize it will take you a week or so to settle things
and get to know our business. I can bring over asset statements and banking
information tomorrow and give you our accounting firm if that will help? We
are solid financially and we own our home in Tiberon. We bought it several
years ago and paid cash. We own it free and clear. We also own a small home in
Tahoe near South Shore."

long time. This is going to be a wonderful relationship!!"

Tommy stood and shook hands with both men and bid them good-bye as they
left speaking in Italian as they closed the door. Tommy thought, what a small
world!!

Things seem to be moving right along for Tommy and Robbie. Although hard
work is never scoffed at, they both work very hard at their careers. Tommy has
yet another new client and the firm will certainly benefit. Robbie has a lot on his
plate, but as always, he pulled through it as he always does.
