Welcome backÉ

Robbie stirred and found himself wrapped in his husband's arms.  It felt
wonderful. He moved slightly and leaned in, and kissed Tommy awake. Tommy
stretched, yawned a bit and returned the kiss with passion. "Babe, we have to get
up and dress. We are having dinner out with our new friends, Mom and Dad. Let's
run in the water and get dressed. We are meeting everyone at 7:00. You did call

"Why would I do that for heaven's sake. You know what kind a fly-by-night that
restaurant is. A come what may attitude. Of course, I called, and they will have a

They got their drinks, a scotch and soda for Thom, and a Cab for Daniella. They
chatted a few minutes and in walked Davis and Bruce who were introduced to
Daniella. Jeorg, the Matre' D, came and said their table was ready. He placed their
drinks on a tray and showed them to their table. More people greeted Thom and
his wife as well as Tommy and Robbie. They were seated and given menus.
Mathew, the head server, came over and greeted everyone and asked about
drinks. Bruce and Davis each asked for a very dry Grey Goose martini, shaken with
three olives. Davis said that he had heard that the three olives were, 1 before, 1
during and 1 to finish as it was not good to drink on an empty stomach. Everyone
laughed. Jefferey had asked for a nice buttery Chardonnay. It was starting out to
be a great evening.

Everyone perused the menu and Robbie pointed out the specials of the evening.
The Pate` was always house made and the escargot was always a hit. The martinis
were brought, and everyone toasted. Tommy said it was great to have them both
join the firm as clients. The menu specials for this evening were roast Prime Rib
with mashed or baked potato and mixed veggies, Le Boeuf au Poivre (Fillet steak
in a creamy peppercorn/ brandy sauce) a French classic, (Also, my Fav!!) Chicken
in a Tarragon cream sauce with Lyonnaise Potatoes and steamed Broccoli. There
was also a baked or grilled salmon in a rich, but light, Beurre Blanc sauce or  a
piccata sauce of white wine, capers, butter and fresh lemonÉ, with fresh green
beans in a dill butter sauce and roasted fingerling potatoes. It all sounded great.
Thom the stated, "Before anyone says anything, dinner is on Gillman's, the firm,
and there will be now argument. I absolutely insist!! Everyone smiled and said
thank you!!

Tommy ordered the prime Rib and started with the Pate` and Robbie ordered the
escargot and the Salmon. Thom also ordered the salmon and a salad to start (still
watching his diet after his heart episode down in the desert). Daniella chose the
chicken and the pate` as well. Davis was getting the Le Boeuf au Poivre and the
escargot while Bruce was going to have the Prime Rib and the Pate`.  Jeffery
ordered the Escargot and the Salmon.  Robbie asked for the wine steward to bring
a bottle of Jordan Cab and a bottle of Sonoma Cutrer ChardonnayÉ The wine was
soon brought, and the cab was decanted expertlyÉ

"This is so nice of you to include me in this little dinner party tonight! Then he

packed two large suitcases. I made sure I kept any jewelry that had belonged to
any female relative of mine, my mother and grandmother, I will let her keep

to live on. Oh, I am filing for divorce in the morning.  I will make arrangements for

crap that is yours. You will be supervised while doing this and you will take

WILL NOT contact me ever again and you go through Clayton with your attorney.
Now leave me alone and don't ever contact me again!!!" He hung up. Damn that

generous of Dad to treat everyone to dinner, although it was not necessary, but

They leveled off and Richard brought everyone pastry and coffee in China cups.
With the `B' in a circle, which was the company logo, Jarrod came on the intercom
and said it was smooth flying today and they would land in Santa Barbara in about

The coffee and pastries were delicious and were gone shortly. Everyone enjoyed

and cleaned up a bit before lunch. It was to be served in the Breakfast Room as it

and had a platter of assorted sandwiches on the counter.

nearby. Alma asked what their plans were and when were they leaving for LA and
the desert? "We are leaving right after breakfast in the morning, going to `Blakes'
to have a light lunch, check paperwork and the accounts. Then we will head
further south for `Le Belle.' Reports are that everything is running very well and
the dinner waiting list is about two months long, just for a reservation. YEA!!!"

"We will head to the house, check on things and air it out, have a nap and then
head back to `Le Belle' for dinner. We'll relax for a few days; maybe do some
shopping for things we may need for the house and then some clothing we may
also need. I want to do some sight-seeing and really check out the town of Palm
Desert. Perhaps we'll see a movie. We want to just relax, just like you both are

Alma and Elsa decided to take a walk after lunch as see the gardens and take a bit

horses.

Miss Ellie smiled as they got carrots and an apple to take to the stable. Robbie
was excited to see King, his beloved horse, whom he had raised since he was a
colt. They walked over to the very large horse barn and were met by Sam, who

They soon mounted their horses again and leisurely rode back to the ranch. It had
