When Tom and Steven got home, they were exhausted, the both relax on the sofa. Tom reached over asking Steven how he enjoyed Barron, junior today. Steven smiled. He laughed when he thought about what Tom called Dirk. Tom leaned over holding onto Steven, he confessed he never thought anything like that could ever possibly happen. Steven laid his hand on top of Tom's saying, "I have to agree." Tom looked up in his eyes, "Facial hair really turns you on." Steven replied, "You turn me on," as he ran his fingers through Tom's hair. Tom smiled, admitting, "I was jealous." Steven smiled back, "I know," pulling him closer. Tom asked, "Do you want me to grow a beard?" Steven reassured him, "You don't have to, but I won't complain if you do." Tom's head laid on Steven's lap. He looked up at the ceiling, thinking about the weekend. He never expected meeting Dirk, and enjoy the time with him. Steven sat there with thoughts of Dirk running through his head, his massive chest, muscular thighs, his reddish beard, and kissable lips. He fantasized about Dirk longing for Tom and him to spend more time getting to know him. Steven thought Tom must be thinking the same thing, when Tom looked up at him, asking, "Do you ever think you would fuck him?" Steven shrugged his shoulders as he looked down, asking, "Would you?" Tom shook his head, saying, "I don't know." Steven asked, "What did you like about him?" Tom lay there thinking, "His short, muscular stature. He has one incredible chest." Steven smiled, "Mmm, Mmm, I agree with you there. He is cute, I just want to watch him suck my cock again." Tom laughed, "Again?" Steven looked down at him. Tom admitted, "I would like to as well. I think he's so cuddly." Steven shook his head in agreement. Tom closed his eyes as Steven ran his fingers through his hair. They both thought about their lust for Dirk. Tom slowly nodded off in Steven's lap. Steven's eyes grew heavy as his head slowly leaned forward, eventually his chin touching his chest. They both lightly snored from their sex exhausted weekend. Steven woke up leaning over on his side, his head resting on Tom's hips. Tom's head was still in his lap. Steven wondered how he could have possibly gotten into this position. He sat up, looking down at Tom sleeping. He noticed Tom's hard cock under his pants, Steven reached for it, running his fingertips along the clothed cover shaft. Tom felt the touch, opening his eyes, smiling up at Steven. Their eyes locked, Tom said, "I love you." Steven smiled, glad to hear those words, looked him in the eye and repeated the same words. Steven combed his fingers through Tom's hair. He was happy to hear those words. Tom's head rested peacefully in Steven's lap. Steven gazed at his handsome face while listening to him breath. It was the perfect way to end the weekend, being with the one that you love. Steven was ready to call it a night, when Tom's scanner went off announcing a residential fire. Feeling this was serious, Tom quickly rose, kissed Tom before heading out the door, reaffirming, and "I love you." Steven sat there as he listened to Tom got his truck, starting the engine. He saw the headlights shine through the front door as he backed up. Suddenly the house was quiet and he was alone, the faint smell of something burning hung in the air, growing ever stronger. Steven was wide awake now, he tried to rest, but was restless. Turning on the TV, he flicked through some channels before he found his guilty pleasure, professional wrestling. He turned down the volume while watching the muscle men wrestle with each other in the arena. It was his secret as he enjoyed watching it when he was alone, never admitting it to anyone. His cock stirred, he slipped his under his waistband feeling his cock. Fondling his balls and cock while watching the grown men wrestle each other. He was sure many of their fans were doing the same thing, to him it was what he called general public homosexual sex. He would root for his favorite as he fantasized being with them, it was his ultimate G-rated porn he could watch anywhere. Steven eventually drifted off to sleep with his hands in his pants. The light from the television lit the room. Steven's head rested on the arm of the sofa as his body stretched across. Tom had a hard evening, when he arrived the house was engulfed in flames, he was told there was a little girl trapped inside. Tom quickly dressed in his fireman's apparatus enter the burning house, the house was dark as he breathed through his pack. Keeping in constant contact with the chief, he tried to explain to Tom where the girl could be found. He could hear the terrified parents in the background trying to explain where their daughter could be found. Feeling around in the dark, the house was reasonably safe. The firemen sprayed to hot spots as Tom continued to search. Calling out her name didn't help. He hoped he would find her in time. Not being able to see with the gear, he felt round the rooms trying to figure out where he was and if he would the find the girl. Time wasn't on their side, the chief only gave them four more minutes before they had to get out the house. Two other firemen joined in the search. Tom entered a room, he knew she must be in there as he felt a presence. He couldn't explain it, but he went with his gut, an unspoken voice kept telling him to take another step, then suddenly stop. He felt the body of an unconscious child, radioing to the chief he picked her up in his arms; announcing he found someone. The three firemen were cheered when they came out, Tom carried the little victim one of the other had the family dog. Quickly rushing her to the ambulance, Jake took her from Tom's arms. The other EMT had Tom sit down checking him out. Crying, Tom thanked whatever lead him to her, knowing not to disclose what happened when he was in the house, but he knew someone was watching over him. Jake and his crew placed the girl on a stretching checking her vitals as they rushed her to the ambulance, relieved that she was still breathing, they put a mask on her face before placing her in the ambulance along with the concerned mother, making their way to the hospital. The little girl's father was taken to the hospital by a neighbor who followed the ambulance. Other EMT's assisted Tom into an ambulance as they rushed him off to the hospital. He breathed in the oxygen through the mask. He knew it was going to be a long night. Releasing him from observations, hours later, the Sun was greeting the new day when Tom arrived home, Steven was lying on the couch, the ambient light from the TV filling the room. He looked at the screen watching half naked men basically fondling each other. He looked down at Steven, his hands were in his pants. He went back to the laundry room stripping of his smoky clothes, placing them in the dryer. He came back to check on Steven. Steven jumped when he saw Tom standing there. He didn't see him come in. He was obviously working his cock as his eyes were glued on the men bouncing around in shorts on the screen. He realized he was caught. Tom stood naked next to the couch watching the men on the screen. He commented on their smooth builds before asking Tom why he was watching such stuff. Steven turned red, but admitted he will watch the wrestlers when he was alone. Shaking his head in disbelief, Tom was tired from his busy night, suggesting Steven get up. He walked side by side with Steven, his arm around his shoulder. Tom could smell the odor coming from his body, he pulled down the covers, helped Steven in bed. Both were out like a light as soon as their heads hit the pillows. At noontime, Tom didn't realize how much both of them stunk. When he raised his arms, he had to turn his head the other way. Steven was groggy as he sat up in bed. He pointed to the shower, indicating they both needed to head in that direction. As Tom sat up, Steven pulled the sheets from the bed. He threw them in a pile near the bedroom door, turned, walking into the shower. He started the shower, he walked over to the mirror examining the bags under his eyes. Tom walked in, standing behind him, wrapping his arms around his chest. Tom leaned in to hug him, repeating, "Coffee, Coffee." They both entered the shower, silently and slowly lathering each other. They both were tired. Tom was the first downstairs, he made the coffee as he poured a bowl of cereal. Steven followed shortly after him, turning on the TV as he tried to figure out what he wanted to eat. They both looked at the television when they heard Tom's name mentioned on the local news. Tom, who was just waking up wanted to know the status of the little girl he found. Steven's jaw dropping not realizing what Tom had done the night before, or that he was even in the hospital. They both at the same time learned about the status of the unidentified girl he saved. Steven watched in amazement as the local news reporter called Tom a hero. He looked at Tom, Tom raised his hand combing his fingers through his wet hair, "I was just doing my job." Steven listened more to learn that Tom was treated and released from the hospital. The reporter reported live from the scene showing the burned shell of the house, while giving the feel good story of saving the family dog. Joel was being interviewed about rescuing the dog, as the camera's turned back to the newsroom, as the reporters talked with a gleam in their eyes about the dog, showing phone camera footage of Joel carrying the dog to safety. Tom looked up at him, smiled, "Guess you know what I'm doing today as he waited for the caffeine to kick in. Might be a late night." Steven kept the news on, watching to see if there were more developments. Tom went upstairs to get dressed. Steven watched as the noontime news came on, it caught his interest when one of the top headline news, was about the fire in Bucks County and how a calendar centerfold saved a little girl's life. Steven called to Tom to come down. The reporter stood there with the fire smoldering in the background. Then told the story about the little girl who was caught in her bedroom. They mentioned that a local fireman came to her rescue. The story went on about more of the details. The camera shot back to the studio, they showed the two women giggling saying imagine being saved by him, and Tom's shirtless calendar picture appeared on the screen. The women commented on the hunk, they said how lucky the little girl was being saved by this dream man. The women fanning herself commented about the calendar, pointing out he's Mr. May. At the end of the clip, the one woman turns to the camera saying, "By the way, we are told he's single." Tom's and Steven's jaws dropped. He couldn't believe they used the calendar picture as they sexualized him. Especially where the little girl was concerned. He repeated, "I was just doing my job. All they need to know is if the little girl is going to be alright. They don't need to know about some funky fireman who saved her. With this `me too' movement you think they would have better sense to stoop that low." Steven's phone was buzzing, he looked down seeing it was Bev. He was worried something happened with her calling him at this hour. He picked up the phone, Bev's voice was in a panic, asking if Tom was alright. Steven handed the phone to Tom saying its Bev. Tom thought there was a problem, "Hey Bev, what's wrong?" Tom heard a shriek on the other end of the phone, "Thank God you are alright, you all over the morning news here in the city. Every channel I turn to, I see your Mr. May picture and how you saved a little girl's life. They keep promising more details to come about the fireman and the girl and her family. I can't believe that are sensationalizing you or the little girl." Tom sighed, "Steven and I just saw on TV. That poor girl she was out cold when I found her, but they don't say much about her, just how lucky she was that Mr. May came to the rescue. Her parents were in hysterics about not being able to reach their little girl, but do they say anything about that." Tom's phone buzzed, he saw it was the chief, he sighed before he answered, "The chief wanted to know if he could do a press conference mid-afternoon?" Tom replied, "He rather not couldn't you just do it?" The chief said, "They want you." Tom sat at the counter, placing his head on his hands. He didn't want all this attention for doing his job. Steven hugged him, saying, "It's all going to be alright." Tom was exhausted, he just wanted to get some sleep, he went back upstairs, looked in the mirror wondering why me. Tom's phone started buzzing, he turned it off; he kissed and hugged Steven good-bye as he turned to head to work. It was Monday, it wasn't going to be the fun for him. Steven drove past the firehouse, seeing several women waiting outside. He kept driving, till he came to the river access area. He pulled in there, found his sunglass and skull cap. He rolled up the collar on his coat before he headed back to the firehouse. He parked in the back, using the back entrance. Fearing they might find images from the bachorlette parties or some of Rex's old photography, he crossed his fingers saying a little prayer. He heard the captain out front, he was explaining to them women he should be arriving shortly. As he walked in, he looked up and saw Tom standing there. He shook his head, "We need to get this over." Tom knew what he meant, but he wasn't ready for his fifteen minutes of fame. The chief looked down at his phone, he commented, "You are blowing up Twitter. How the hell did you get on Twitter?" He walked up to Tom and showed him pictures of him posing with some very attractive women. Tom was relieved to see he had clothes on, as it was with the women at the winery." Next the chief comes running out, "Don't you ever keep your shirt on?" As he showed the picture of Tom standing with the women from the night before with his shirt off and one of them held as another pointed to his picture in the calendar." Tom uttered, "Oh! Shit." The chief looked at him, "Oh, Shit, right." The chief received a call from the call center, they were inundated by the calls at the switchboard. He man on the other end commented who are we going to handle a real emergency, don't these idiots realize they are jeopardizing other people. He continued that he had to threaten people with fines. The chief went out front, telling the women Tom's not coming in today. He apologized as he shut the door, ignoring their questions. Tom asked the chief if he heard any news of the girl. He just shook his head no, and advised him to stay away from the hospital. Jake texted Tom, saying reporters have been stopping by asking for him. Tom was hoping this madness would go away after the news. He started to regret his decision to make the calendar. He kept telling himself, don't they understand I was only doing my job. The chief tried to pull some favors to find out how the little girl and her family were doing. It seemed to be a big mystery. Jake eventually arrived, he quickly walked into the front door as the chief watched the reporter who followed him. The chief explained Tom wasn't here, as politely let the chief know that she will be waiting outside. The chief quickly turned and asked her how the girl was doing. She shrugged her shoulders, saying, "How am I supposed to know. Do I look like a nurse?" Soon the news van appeared. The crews raised the antennas, as a reporter walked into the lobby asking where he could find Tom. The chief said he wasn't coming in today, and like the lady, they said they have the time they could wait. The chief turned and asked how the little girl was doing? The reporter got on his headset, "The chief wants to know how the little girl is doing? Does anyone know?" While holding his hand to his ear. "They haven't released her identity yet and the hospital won't make a statement? Ok, I'll let him know." The chief walked away shaking his head, he picked up a calendar and threw it on the front counter in disgust. He looked at Tom, they are concerned when they are on camera, but otherwise clueless as he sang the line, "Just give us dirty laundry." Steven parked in the parking lot, walking into the firehouse, without being followed or questioned. He carried his backpack, with a change of clothes for Tom. The chief thought it would be a good idea for him to go home and get some rest. He reassured Tom, he would call if heard anything from the Edelman family. Tom took the backpack from Tom, asking Tom to make a diversion, so he could slip out the back. Tom quickly ran into the locker room, not believed what Steven packed or where he got it. Pulling the police uniform out of the back pack, Tom quickly changed. Walking into the chief's office, the chief laughed, saying that was fuckin' ingenious. Changing the plan, the chief called the police captain arranging one of their officers to pick up `there officer' at the firehouse. When the police car arrived at the front entrance, the reports didn't bother to look. Tom walked out, getting in the car before pulling away. Steven walked back to Tom's truck, unlocked getting in to drive him home. Knowing he was being followed, Steven stopped by the restaurant, giving Sam the keys to his truck. Sam gave him the keys to his car, while his followers were waiting outside the restaurant, Steven got in Sam's car driving home. When he arrived home, Tom was waiting for him. With a great big smile, Tom greeted Steven, repeating, "Sara is alright, Sara is alright!" He picked up Steven spins him around in his arms. Tom was ecstatic that Sara was alright. Soon Tom's phone was ringing, he answered, hearing a reporter on the other end. The reporter asked if he could ask a few questions, Tom replied, "How's this for an answer." As he hung up the phone. Turning off his phone, Tom wanted to quiet evening. When Jake returned home with Steven's truck, Tom was shocked to see the Edelman family get out. Jake led them to the guest house letting them stay there till they get things sorted out. Turning around, Steven saw a Bev's car coming up the driveway. Greeting Steven and Tom with a big hug, she opened her trunk asking for help. Tonya slowly got out of the car to hug her dad. Meeting the Edelman family, Bev had her boys carry the clothing and food to the guest house. They couldn't thank her enough, for her generosity. Following behind Bev was Larry, a very intimating man. When Bev saw him, she quickly got behind Tom and Steven. Jake greeted Larry with open arms, thanking him for his help. Jake turned to Bev introducing the big bear of a man to her. Nervously stepping out behind Steven and Tom, she shook his hand. Jake explained that Larry and few of his friends will be guarding the entrance from those pesky reporters. Tom poked Steven with his elbow, catching his attention, telling him not to get any ideas. Steven looked at the big bear man, with the beard that hung down to his chest. With his bear gut and work boots, he gathered the gun from the back of his truck heading toward the entrance. Larry waved to the police officer as he drove in. Checking to make sure everything is ok, and they would be in good hands with Larry. He commented his intimidating to look at, but has a heart of gold. Jake introduced the police officer to Tom and Steven as well as Bev. Jake said the family is just settling into the guesthouse. At least they have a place to stay till they get thing figured out. Sara came running across the yard, toward the group standing in the parking area. She asked which one was fireman Tom. Tom stepped forward, Sara ran up to him, hugging him saying thank you. He picked her up to give her hug, when she leaned in for a kiss. Tears form in Tom's eye, concerned about her over the past 24 hours. Following behind were her parents, seeing Sara in Tom's arms, that thanked him for saving their daughter, turning to Jake that thanked him for letting them use the guest house. They turned hearing a commotion down at the entrance, two sets of lights came toward them, as Larry and his friends blocked the other. Mason pulled up in his dad's truck, hugging him before giving him the keys. Tonya hugged her brother, kissing him on the cheek, Mason was surprised to see her. Tom turned to Sara saying this is his son, Mason and my daughter Tonya. Mason knelt down as she comes over to hug him, telling Mason how his daddy saved her life. Mason hugged her, with a tear in his eye, saying he knows. He was a wonderful daddy. Sara led Mason by the hand to meet her mom and dad. Mason shook their hand, that it was nice to meet them. Greeting Tonya next, Sara jumped up and down, telling Tonya, your daddy saved me from the fire. Tonya bent down to kiss her on the cheek, saying how sweet, as he wiped a tear from her eye. Warren followed up behind Mason, laughing saying you got those Diehl boys working tonight. Seeing Tonya, he gives her a big hug, telling her how beautiful she looks. Warren bent over asking the little girl, her name. She replied she was Sara, Warren introduced himself, saying he was Mason's and Tonya's granddaddy. Sara quickly ran over to her parents, leading her mom by the hand, introducing Mason's granddaddy to her parents. Sara walked over to Bev, thanking her for the pretty clothes, telling Bev they are so beautiful. Bev had tears in her eyes, seeing someone so precious. Tonya feeling a chill said she was going inside. Warren turned to Mason asking if was ready. Mason nodded his head. Before he left, Sara ran after him, asking if was going to come back. Mason said he had to go home with his grandpa, but he's sure he would see her again. The Edelman's thanked everyone again, as they took Sara by the hand returning to the guesthouse. Bev took her two boys by the arms, walking side by side into the house. Bev commented, "Tom, you are a hero, did you see in that little girl's eyes?" Tom nodded yes, as he wiped the tears from his eyes.
