I hope the fog clears. There was grumbling from other passengers about a possible cancellation of the flight. That would be really crappy! I figure we've got about a half hour then we'll know. We're supposed to be in the air at 615, so not too much longer to wait. The flight will hop to San Francisco, and then we take a much bigger plane and fly from there to San Diego. We're scheduled to land at 1:40 PM, and Laura is going to pick us up. Ah! We're in the clear. Still foggy, but Daniel just chatted up the lady at the counter and asked about the flight status. Sounds like we're clear for takeoff! I'm so excited to see Laura and the kids! Daniel came back to sit by me, and is now on his iPad with his keyboard out. He's still working ... the crazy man. I hope he's able to relax a little. And ... I hope Matt is decent to him. I never disliked Matt, but we also never really hit it off either. Now that I'm with Daniel, I don't exactly expect that to improve ... but he'd better not be mean to Daniel. I can take it if he's a shit with me, but I won't handle it well if he tries that on my guy. I need to be positive. It's gonna be fine. Matt will be himself, and if he's too much Laura really will put him in his place. Counting on you sis! Oh, we're boarding. Later! Wayne's Journal - Part 13 (cont) 22 December 2017, Friday 725 AM San Francisco Airport (SFO) We made it to our departure gate in SFO. We found seats, and had a section to ourselves. We've got some time though. Like, five hours of it. Daniel just made a comment about pulling his bands out of his bag so he can do shoulders. I think he'd do it too, except the bands are in our checked luggage. Thanks to the time crunch we didn't get to do our workout this morning. But he's already planning his resistance band session for his shoulders and core work once we arrive at Laura's. That's right. Just because we're not at the gym doesn't mean we skip workouts! :-) I already sent a message to sis about our meal plan, which is what most would consider a fairly strict diet. She will have options for us, and will dial back the fried/battered foods. She's so sweet. I've really missed her! Daniel probably wouldn't like that I messaged her about it - he really doesn't want to make any sort of trouble for them. But ... I need him to have a good time. I don't want him stressed if it can be avoided. I think he's also bringing almost a week's worth of his protein shake powder. We'll be fine on the food front. I looked over and Daniel is playing a game on his iPad. He's actually not working. Hurray! Good! Ohhhhh ... Saul just messaged me. `Hey Wayne. Hope you have a good trip. Don't worry about your place, it'll be taken care of, no problem.' Then a half minute after, another message. `So, your friend Martha ... she single?' I grin at my phone and respond. `Hey, thanks for looking in on my place. And, yep. She's single.' He sends a thumbs up message and a devil emoticon back to me. I shake my head. He has no idea what he's getting into. I glance over again and Daniel is watching me. "What are you up to?" He wears a quizzical, suspicious expression. I can't help but grin even bigger. "Nothing!" I also replied with way too much volume, ramping my guilty appearance up considerably. His eyes narrowed and he shook his head. "You're a TERRIBLE liar, you know that?" He still smiled at me. "Are you going to tell me about it?" My eyes widened and I shook my head. His fingers drummed on his knee. "Will I hear about whatever this concerns sometime in the future?" I pursed my lips and thought. "Uhhhh ... maybe?" He looked at me and shook his head again. He went back to his iPad. I breathed a sigh of relief. Martha would KILL me if I let it slip she was interested in Saul - and apparently vice versa. I'm unable to leave good enough alone. I felt a delicious surge of meddlesome energy and I pulled out my phone again. `Martha, Saul messaged. Wanted to know if you're single.' I put an angel icon after the message and sent it. I didn't expect her to respond, but a minute later I got a `Really?'. Ohhhh ... she's really interested in him! `Yep. Really. FYI, he likes sci-fi movies.' I actually cackled a little when I sent the message which attracted a sidewise glare from Daniel. "Oh, no ... I'm not up to ANYTHING." Daniel copied my evil laugh and pushed me playfully. I bit my lip and grinned. It's SF ... so I leaned over, still smiling, and kissed him. We only got a couple of looks as people walked past - one obviously appreciative of the sight, as he smiled along on his way. I think I'm gonna play with my tablet for a while. Probably pick up journaling again once we get to San Diego. Till then! Wayne's Journal - Part 13 (cont) 22 December 2017, Friday 520 PM San Diego (Laura and Matt's, North Park) Well, we're here! We landed on time, and Laura met us at the airport, as planned. Josh came along, and he ran to me when we got out to the curbside pick up. He grabbed my hand and dragged me back to Laura's car where she waited. We threw our luggage in the trunk, and I got in the front seat. Daniel got in the back with Josh. Laura leaned over and hugged me quickly. "Brother!" She clung to me and squeezed. She's not a thin lady, but she maintains a healthy weight. She looked good! Curvy and strong. Then she pulled back and her face had an incredulous expression. "Holy crap, you've lost a lot of weight!" She grinned. "Looking good!" "Thanks sis. And you are too!" I forgot that she hadn't seen me since my weight loss, so she was used to me at 230 lbs. I was now just above 190, so a nearly 40 lb loss. She put the car in gear and we pulled into San Diego pre-holiday traffic, which was expectedly heavy. Laura is a pro city driver and navigated easily. She looked in the rear view mirror at Daniel. "We'll meet officially in a little bit, but I'm Laura. Really glad you could come hang out with us for the holiday!" He nodded and smiled. "Daniel. Thanks for inviting me." He looked down at Josh, who sat on the seat next to him and who openly stared at him. "Hi." Josh poked his bicep. "Is that real?" I chortled, and Laura made a flabbergasted embarrassed noise. Daniel grinned and leaned down a bit. "Yep." He flexed it a little and it grew in size as Josh watched with amazement. Laura finally found her voice. "Josh! What did we talk about on the way here? Don't go bugging Wayne's friend!" Josh's green eyes were big as saucers, and he pushed his brown hair out of his face. "But mom, it's huge!" He poked it again. "And it's really hard!" Laura snorted with a laugh, her mind diving into the gutter immediately. Daniel laughed. "He's fine." I could sense Daniel relaxing as he talked to Josh - who chattered to him as if he were his best friend all of a sudden. I did feel a little jealous. Josh was always my buddy ... and Daniel was stealing him! I didn't really mind too much. If it makes our visit better, then by all means - steal away. Besides, I get it. It's hard not to like Daniel. A fairly short time later considering the traffic we pulled up to a cute single family house in North Park. I love this neighborhood. Lots of nice restaurants, coffee shops, and other spots to hang out. And, of course there's Balboa Park to the south. We take our bags inside, and there we meet Matt. Matt is not a bad looking guy. He's about 6' tall, blonde hair, and blue eyes. He does look like he has put on a little more weight, and has a bit of a gut now. He is probably pushing 220 at this point. Looks like he just stood up to greet us. "Hey Wayne." He shook my hand and took looked me up and down. I could tell he noticed the difference in me, but he didn't say anything about it. Then he turned to Daniel. "Hi. I'm Matt. Welcome to our home." He stuck out his hand and Daniel took it with a smile. "Hi Matt. Daniel. Thanks for having me." Matt nodded. "Come on. I'll show you where you'll be sleeping." We followed him downstairs. Their house was one of the rare ones in the city with a basement. It was only a partial, but it still gave them a lot more living space for the same building footprint. He stood by an open door and looked a little uncomfortable. "Ah, Laura said you guys would be fine in the same bed." "Yep." I stepped past him into the bedroom. I had slept here before, and I knew where everything was. Daniel followed me in and nodded to Matt. "Thanks again Matt. Appreciate the hospitality." "Sure." He turned to go, but stopped. "Oh ... Laura is going to try that baked chicken recipe you sent her for dinner tonight Wayne. It should be ready by 6 or so." I inwardly cringed. "Ah, okay. Thanks Matt." Matt climbed the stairs and Daniel turned to look at me. "You sent recipes?" I nodded. "Yeah. She was interested in some new stuff." I made myself look busy, unpacking my bag. "Wayne, tell me you didn't dictate the menu for the time we're here." I could hear an edge creep into his voice. I sighed. "No. I didn't dictate anything." I sat with a flop on the bed. "I just wanted to give her options other than frying everything, and making only stuff you can't eat." I threw my hand toward the stairs. "And it's not like Matt can't use a couple of healthy meals either." My tone was a little contentious, and I sat with my shoulders slumped. I felt like he was mad at me for trying to do something nice for him. He came around the end of the bed and sat next to me. He put his hand on my leg, and leaned over against me. "Thanks for thinking of me." He patted my knee. "I just don't want to be any trouble." I turned to him. "It's not trouble for a host to do nice things for a guest." I kissed him, and let it linger for a little. We pulled away and I looked in his eyes. "Laura is happy to do it. And ... she really does want Matt to eat better. This gave her a reason to do that." Daniel sighed, but nodded. "Okay." He kissed me again, and put his hand on the back of my neck. It began to heat up a bit, and we both pulled away. I smiled. "We should get upstairs, before I lock that door and have my way with you." Daniel laughed. "I think it's my turn to have my way with you Mr. Hawkins." I shrugged. "That works great for me too." I gave him a peck on the cheek, then stood. I adjusted myself so my half-awake cock would be less obvious in my jeans. He just smiled. We both went up the stairs to the living room. And my niece, Miranda squealed when she saw me. She's four, and a ball of excitement around people she knows. She started running for me. "Uncle Wayn ..." she began, then she saw Daniel behind me. She stopped dead in her tracks, and ran to Matt who was on the couch. She clung to his leg and stared at Daniel, her blue eyes wide. Matt's hand went to rub her back, and he smiled fondly at her. He really is a good dad - I guess he's got that going for him. "Hi Miranda!" I got down on my knees. "Come on, Daniel's not gonna hurt you." She frowned and shook her head, then pressed her face against Matt's leg. Laura poked her head around the doorway. "She's been doing that lately. Suddenly everybody is scary!" She rolled her eyes. "Don't take it personally." She smiled at Daniel. "I won't." He looked down at Miranda and smiled. "Real nice to meet you Miranda. I'm Daniel." She still clung to Matt, but she looked at him at least. She pursed her lips and then said "Hi." And a shy little smile pulled at her mouth. Then her face went back against Matt's leg. Matt sighed. "Oh yeah. You're SO shy." He looked over at Daniel. "Just wait till day two. She'll be climbing all over you." Daniel grinned and shrugged. "That'd be fine." I have to admit, I am impressed with Matt. He actually engaged Daniel in conversation, all on his own. I left him in the living room with Matt and Miranda. Josh was who knows where. I walked into the kitchen up to Laura as she assembled ingredients for a salad on the counter. I could smell chicken and vegetables cooking in the oven. "Hey ... who is that guy who looks like your husband?" I said in a low voice. She snickered. "We had a good talk before you guys got here. He promised to make an honest attempt to be nice." She sighed. "He's really a good guy Wayne. Sorry you two never hit it off." I shrugged. "You married him sis. He's gotta be a decent guy. I never doubted that." I thought about it. "And I know he's never really had to deal with gay people before - at least people he knows are gay. So ... there's going to be a learning curve with us. And we'll be patient." Josh picked that moment to wander into the kitchen. "Mom! What's for dinner?" "A few recipes your uncle gave me. Baked chicken on a bed of vegetables, and a strawberry spinach salad." He frowned. "Vegetables?" He looked at me as if I had terribly betrayed his trust. "I don't like vegetables." "Then you've not had them cooked right." I knelt in front of him. "The boiled green beans and carrots at school are not what I'm talking about." He still frowned, but he nodded. "Okay ... if you say so." Laura glanced at him. "You'll at least try them." I got another glare from Josh. I was pretty sure he thought I had turned on him. He sighed and walked out of the kitchen. Laura laughed. "He'll be fine." She chopped the pecans that go into salad. "Wayne, I've got all of this under control. Go sit with the guys." I lean over kiss her cheek and she smiles. "Love you sis." I wrap my arms around her and squeeze. "So glad to see you!" I shake her back and forth a little while she laughs. Then I turn her loose and head back into the living room. I'm sitting in a chair now, journaling while Daniel entertains Josh. Matt is holding Miranda, who is still watching Daniel with her curious little eyes. We're about to head in to dinner, so I'm going to be done for a while. Till next time. Daniel - Part 13 22 December 2017, Friday 740 PM San Diego (Laura and Matt's, North Park) Dinner went well. Josh found out he likes slivered almonds in his baked veggies, and the chicken on top helped flavor something he normally assumes will be bland and tasteless. Laura was stunned into speechlessness as she watched her picky son eat cauliflower, carrots, and brussel sprouts. Everyone else had a good amount of food too. They all seemed to enjoy it, even Matt. The lemon on the chicken really helped. I know Martha gave Wayne that recipe for Laura. I'll have to thank her when we get back. Matt pushed his plate back and nodded. He looked thoughtfully at the leftovers in the baking dish. "That ... was pretty good." He glanced at Wayne. "I admit, I didn't expect it to be." Laura got up to clear the table. "I'm putting that one into the rotation." She smiled at Wayne and he grinned at her. He stood to help her too. I was just about to go assist with the dishes when Matt pushed away from the table and got out of his chair. I noticed him flinch as he did, and he leaned to his left as he rose. He turned in profile, and I could plainly see it ... the problem. I took my plate over to Laura who took it from me. "Go on. Shoo." She smiled. "Go sit with Matt in the living room." She turned back to the sink. "We've got this." "Thanks Laura. Great meal." She laughed and looked at her brother. "Well you can thank Wayne and I both for that." I went into the living room, and was in time to watch Matt again. He leaned to his left and carefully sat down. I noticed he didn't sit all the way back on the couch, and his back was very straight from his ribcage up. And I caught him in profile one more time. Yep. For sure. I can see it plainly. "Something wrong?" Matt had caught me staring at him. He looked at me with an obvious frown. I shook my head. Then thought about it. "Well ... maybe." His eyes widened. I realized he thought I had challenged him in some way. "No, no." I waved my hands in apology. "I mean ... I noticed how you lean a bit to the left, and that your lower spine ... it looks like it's curved more than it should be to me." He stared at me. "What do you mean?" I stood up. "Look at my lower back." I turned so he could see my spine in profile, and flattened my shirt against my back. "See the curve?" I pointed at my lower spine (lumbar region). He nodded. "Yours is more pronounced. It is likely causing you some trouble too. Pain, trouble moving around, tightness, stuff like that." Josh and Miranda both lay on the living room floor, and Josh had started listening to the conversation. "Oh," Josh raised himself on an elbow and looked at Matt, "is that why you can't play catch with me dad?" It looked as if someone had stuck a knife through Matt's heart, and he frowned down at the floor. I suddenly realized how sensitive this was for him. "Matt, can I talk to you downstairs?" He looked up at me, a wounded expression on his face. And after a moment he nodded. While the kids played in the living room, and Wayne helped Laura clean up, Matt and I went downstairs. Instead of heading to the bedroom Matt led us to their rec/game room. It's a big square space, and I could see mats on the floor for stretching, yoga or pilates. There were also a few exercise balls, and a half ball platform for balancing exercises. I quickly inventoried all of it in my mind as I saw it. He turned and looked at me. His jaw worked and I could tell he was upset. "Okay. What do you mean about my back?" He was definitely agitated and frowned at me. I held up my hands. "Look, I'm a personal trainer. I'm not a doctor, but I do assessments on people all the time. And my degree is all about how the body performs and moves. You have what is called Lumbar Lordosis. It's exactly what I said earlier. It's where your spine is curved too much in your lower back region. His frown deepened. "Well ... what about it? I mean, you said it could cause problems." I nodded. "Yeah. It can, and it often does. You can have pain during certain movements, and if you let it continue it can lead to structural issues in your spine itself. Stuff you'll need surgery to repair." Matt rubbed his face. And he closed his eyes, his hand still over his mouth. I heard his breath come, deep and slow. I could tell he was trying to get a handle on himself. He swallowed and put his hand down, his eyes opened. "Does it have to end that way? Surgery?" "No. It can be fixed in many cases with proper exercises and stretching." I took a step closer to him. "Look, let me do a quick assessment on you. And then we can come up with some kind of plan to remediate your back." I give him a reassuring look. "Hey. This is my bread and butter. This is what I DO." He looked at me, sorting through options. Then he nodded. "Okay." His eyes flicked to the door to the room. "Shut the door first." I did a series of assessments on Matt. Sure enough, his spine was curved from an imbalance in muscle strength - mostly due to weak core muscles, and those in his pelvis. As a result his spinal column was being pulled out of its proper alignment, into the sway back condition. Matt's isn't the worst I've ever seen, but it's pretty bad. Luckily my assessment revealed the spine was still mobile, and not fixed in place. Meaning ... yes, we really could repair it with proper conditioning. I gave him that news and he was visibly relieved. "Look ... I've had back pain for years, and it's slowly getting worse." He sighed. "I'm a stubborn guy ... and I put off going to the doctor for it. But lately, it's so bad. I actually have an appointment on the books to see my doc in the middle of next month about it." I nodded. "Good. Definitely go to the appointment. I'll give you my notes I took from your assessments and you can hand those off to your doc, maybe even before your appointment." He nodded in agreement. I thought about the exercises we'd need to start him on. "So, are you ready to try and fix this? It's going to take a few weeks, at least, to see any kind of result. You have to be patient, and you have to be dedicated to the process." "Man, if I can actually DO something about this, yeah. I really want to." Matt looked me in the eye. "I'd love to be able to play with my kids again. And ... honestly, I'm not sure how much longer I can keep working this way." He frowned and looked at the floor. "I have actually thought about getting some pain killers, just so I can keep going." He jerked and looked at me, a little fear in his eyes. "Don't tell Laura that!" He shook his head and bit his lip. "Man, I really let this get out of hand." "Hey, anything we do here will stay between us. All right?" I patted his shoulder and looked him in the eye. "And it's okay. Let's just start you on the road to getting it fixed." I rubbed my hands together. "All right. I'm going to show you a few movements. If anything hurts while you perform any of them, stop immediately. Otherwise, stop when I say. Okay?" He nodded, and there was a determined glint in his eye. "Hey." He licked his lips and shook his head. "Why ... why are you helping me?" He frowned. "From what I heard you charge a lot of money for this." I smiled at him. "You're the brother in law of the man I love. And you need help." I shrugged. "I have to help you." He looked carefully at my face. "You really do love Wayne, huh." My smile broadened. "I do. A whole lot." He frowned in thought, then took a breath. "Well, good." He grinned. "Wayne can use something good in his life." He lay down on the floor and looked up at me. "Okay, how do I do this `Hip Extension' thing?" I smiled down at him. Today turned out alright. Wayne - Part 13 (cont) 22 December 2017, Friday 920 PM San Diego (Laura and Matt's, North Park) I must be living in an alternate universe. Daniel and Matt had disappeared, and I was on the hunt for Daniel. Josh helpfully said they were downstairs. I go down and I notice the Rec room door is closed. I go and try to open it, and it's locked. I frowned and knocked. "Hey. You guys in there?" I heard Daniel's voice. "Yep. Hang on, we're finishing up." I heard some shuffling around and then the door opened. Daniel stood there with a smile. "Hey Wayne." "Hey. What's going on?" I looked past him and Matt stood on a mat. He was bent over with his hands on his knees. His t-shirt was drenched in sweat and he looked up at me, breathing heavily. Daniel waved a hand at Matt. "Oh, Matt wanted to know more about what I did for a living. And I decided to just show him." Matt stuck one hand out in a thumbs-up and then straightened with a grimace. "Wow." He blew out a breath. "So out of shape." He laughed ruefully and frowned at his t-shirt. "And now I need a shower." I laughed. "I say that a lot around Daniel." My face dropped. "Ah ... I mean ..." Daniel closed his eyes and shook his head. Matt only grinned and wiped the sweat from his face. "Probably a different reason, huh?" His expression turned lewd. I put a hand on my head. "Ah, I'm sorry." I sighed. "My mouth gets me in trouble." Matt walked past us into the hallway, and turned to look at me. "Not a biggie." He jerked a thumb up the stairs. "Guys, I'm gonna clean up and call it a night." His smile returned. "Oh, and by the way ... we had this floor remodeled to really cut down on the sound from the rec room." His eyes were mischievous. "And the bedroom." He winked. "Have a good night." I was totally stunned. Matt went up stairs, and I turned to Daniel, my confusion and shock obvious. "What?!" I looked back up the stairs. "Did ... was he just joking about us having loud sex?!" Daniel looked thoughtful and tapped his chin. "Well, I think he was more suggesting we SHOULD have loud sex." Then he grinned broadly. I was still flabbergasted. "What is happening? What happened with you two?" I motioned at the mats in the rec room. "And you were training him?" Daniel shrugged. "Just getting to know one another a little better. That's all. And yeah, he was interested in what it was about. I'm probably going to keep training with him while we're here." He smiled at my uncomprehending expression. "Look, don't question it. Let's just take it as a win." He stepped close to me and put his arms around my waist. "We should get to bed ourselves." He let his groin rub against mine. I could feel his cock and it made mine perk up. "I'm in the mood for ... you." He leaned forward and rubbed his stubble against my neck. It sent a shiver through my body. I licked my lips and forgot about Matt and the questions I still had. "Come on." I took his hand and led us to the bedroom. We entered and as soon as we did Daniel began tearing my clothes off of me. Literally. I lost a button off my shirt due to his impatience - I heard it ping against the wall as he yanked on the material. He kissed me with a tremendous desire. I felt crushed by the weight of his need, but I welcomed it. I fought with his clothes too, until we were finally both undressed. He pushed me onto the bed and followed me down. His mouth went to my neck and he growled against my skin. His aggression was crazy, and I let myself be swept along by it. He grabbed the lube and I heard him apply it to himself. He kissed me as he rubbed a generous amount on me too. "You know the word." He said, his voice saturated with lust. I nodded. There was no way I was going to say it. He licked me, slowly, from my clavicle all the way up my neck, just to the side of my Adam's Apple. And I felt his head at my entrance. He began to push his hips forward, and I moved my pelvis so I was more in line. God, I wanted this. When his mouth got just below my jaw I felt his teeth. He wasn't gentle, but it felt amazing. "Ah. Ah fuck." I moaned. His hands pushed my wrists to the mattress, and trapped them there. He shifted around so he could hold them together in place with one hand. His other found my dick and he began to stroke me. His own cock slid into my body. My eyes rolled back into my skull, and it began to happen - the utter loss of control that comes when he pushes all the right buttons. I slowly lost the capacity for reason, and he drove me into a deep, primal, animalistic mindset. I wanted sex. I wanted him. I needed it. "Unnnn." I could hear myself making sounds, but I don't recall deciding to make them. I was now just a passenger along for a wonderful ride on Daniel's dick. I thrashed under him and groaned. His hips moved against me, his body driving us both toward completion. He licked the spot on my neck where he was biting me, and then he bit again. I gasped. And he growled, the sound deep and low from his chest. His hips increased in speed, and so did his hand on me. "Ahhh." I threw back my head, my neck arched and exposed to him. He dove on it, licking and biting me. I couldn't hold out, and I groaned as my release began. I ejaculated with force, and it struck Daniel in his neck, I moaned and twitched as I continued to shoot on our chests and stomachs. Daniel grunted, the sound closer to an animal than that of a man and I felt him unload inside me. His hips continued their assault, and as he slowed his bites turned into kisses on my throat. I lay there, mouth open and skin tingling. We were still in position, and Daniel was still inside me. My brain started working again, and I suddenly hoped that Matt was right about the soundproofing. I looked at Daniel, and he was staring into my eyes. His green irises were beautiful, and they were so open and filled with his love. He wordlessly let go of my wrists, put his hands behind my neck and gently kissed me. We kissed for a wonderful, long moment. Then he pulled back and smiled at me. "Was that okay for my turn?" He grinned. He knew it was more than okay. I laughed. "I guess it'll do." He playfully slapped my cheek and kissed me again. We got up and checked the hall. It was clear, and we dashed to the downstairs bathroom, wrapped only in towels around our naked bodies. We cleaned up and were soon back in the bedroom. As is our typical night time custom, Daniel spooned me until he fell to sleep, and I got up to journal. I think about life with him. I think about a future with him. I really wish we were in a financially similar situation. If we were, I'd be planning how to ask him to marry me. Fucking Saul, and his prediction! But as it is, I can't ask. I can't expect him to hitch himself to me while I'm earning $45K a year, and he's pulling down ... god, I don't know ... at least triple that. :-s I don't ask about his finances because I honestly don't want to know. I don't need the fairy tale. Sure ... I want it, but I don't need it. I've got everything I need already. Till next time.
