Lance still slept. I dressed and exited the bedroom. Wondering whether Justin was still here, I peeked in on him. He lay in the bed sleeping. It was rather off putting seeing him lay there naked. I turned and closed the door. At least he stayed put and didn't leave. It would not have been good for him to do this on his own. I went downstairs and started making breakfast. Almost like clockwork, as I finished Lance came downstairs. "Good morning," I said to him. "Good morning, Love. Look at you. Dressed and ready for the day. Wish I had that kind of energy." "Its good you conserve your energy. When you are on tour, you will be working that gorgeous butt of yours off." Lance smiled at me. "Is breakfast almost done?" "Just about." Lance pulled up a chair and sat down. I poured him a glass of orange juice and went back to my cooking. Lance opened the paper, which I had retrieved from the doorstep when I came downstairs, and began to read it. "Hmm," he muttered. "What?" "There are some concerns for the Princes safety when they arrive." "Safety concerns? I can't see how. Every teenage girl and teenage gay boy just loves them, every grown up sympathizes with them because of the loss of their mother, so the only ones who have a reason not to like them are the heterosexual teen males in the world. And I highly doubt they pose a threat to the young Princes lives." "Understandable. But still you can understand their concerns." "I guess. Does it say what they are doing?" "Just tightening up all the security contingencies. They probably wouldn't want to give too much detail. If they did, someone would find a way to circumvent it." I turned back to the cooking food when Justin came downstairs wearing a pair of shorts only. We turned and greeted him with smiles on our faces. "Good morning," he muttered softly. Justin then walked over to the sliding door and opened it going out onto the patio. "Do you think he's still freaked out about last night?" Lance asked. "Who knows? He's been through so much. First losing Britney. And then walking in on us having sex. That alone could bring back memories of heartache. He and I.." "I remember." Lance's whole countenance changed. I finished breakfast and made up three plates. Lance went to the patio to get Justin. Justin came in. He kept looking at me weirdly. When I would look over at him, he would look away. We ate in silence. "I'm getting a shower," Lance said going upstairs. I took the plates off of the table and scraped them then placed them in the dishwasher. "Eric, can I talk to you?" "Sure, Justin." "Can we go outside and talk?" "Sure." We went out to the patio and sat down. I found it rather difficult to have a conversation with him being nearly naked. So many feelings came back to me. But I put them aside. I loved Lance. "What did you want to talk about?" I asked. "Us." Perfect, I thought. Just perfect. Out loud I said, "What do you mean?" "What was it like..for us?" "I'm still not sure I know what you mean. What was 'what' like?" "Love. Sex. Our relationship. Was it good? Bad?" "It was good, Justin. We loved each other very much. We took care of each other." "Did you truly love me?" "I slayed a vampire for you. It was my first vampire slaying. And it is not a matter of if I did truly love you. I still love you, Justin. Part of me will always love you." "What about..sex? Was it good?" "Yes." "Did you ever do to me what you did to Lance last night?" "Sort of. Only I was on my back when we did it." "You mean your..was in me?" "No. You were in me, but I was laying on my back." "Oh," Justin said with a touch of relief. I knew he was wondering what it would feel like to be the bottom when it came to sex. "Did you..enjoy it? Was I..good?" "Considering we only did it once, yes, it was good." "We only had sex once? Why?" "Because the following night was when you were taken by the vampire Turic. It was later that I slayed him and you returned to your normal self." "Did you ever wish that..we could have done it more?" "Sometimes I did. But after I lost you, I just longed to have you back. But that didn't happen. That will never happen. You're straight. I'm gay and in love with Lance." "I'm not..I'm not as straight as you think." I almost fell off the chair. "What?" I asked. "What did you just say?" "I said I'm not straight. Well, I'm not really gay either. I'm like..in between." "In between straight and gay?" "Yeah. I like guys and girls. Mostly girls but..after watching you and Lance last night, I went back into my bedroom and jacked off at least three times playing over and over the image of you two." "You're bisexual," I stated. Then it dawned on me. "You fantasized about Lance and I having sex?! How long were you watching us?!" "Um..for most of the time." "For most of the time?! Why did you watch us?!" "I told you..I was turned on by it..and curious." "Oh my goodness, I can't believe you just told me that." "I'm sorry. But I wanted to tell you. I wanted you to know." "I can just imagine what Lance is going to think," I said. "Please, don't tell him," Justin begged. "He can be extremely jealous. I don't want him hurt over this." I took a deep breath and sighed. I looked over at Justin uncertain as to how I should be acting. Should I be forgiving or angry? Flattered or feel vulnerable? I wasn't sure. I took a deep breath. "What would you like me to do?" I asked. Then it dawned on me. "That didn't come out quite right. What can I do for you?" I shook my head. "That didn't come out right either." Justin sat there smiling at me. "This is so embarrassing." "I believe you want to know why I told you." "Yeah," I replied. "You were my therapist, and you're my friend. And you were my lover at one time. I feel I can confide in you." "You can, Justin." "Good. I want to know what it's like to have sex with another man." "Don't ask me to do it with you." "You wouldn't want to?" Justin asked with a smile. "It has nothing to do with that. It has everything to do with the man I love. That's Lance. I could never do that to hurt him." "What if I asked him and he was okay with it?" "Then I would say you are crazy. I know he wouldn't go for it. Like you said earlier, he gets jealous easily sometimes. And I'm sure that me having sex with someone else would destroy him. "When you and I were together, I found him on a stairwell crying. He was crying because he was in love with me and I was with you. He didn't want to hurt me or you or our relationship, but that didn't stop him from hurting over us. If you and I were to get physical, it would kill him. I'm not prepared to do that to him. "Besides, I had my sexual fantasy with you. It was good." I smiled at Justin. He smiled back. "Now what do I do from here?" he asked. "Do from where?" Lance asked. We looked up to see him with a wet head. "Hi, Love," I replied standing up and kissing him. "It seems our friend here is bisexual." "What?" Lance said incredulously. "You're what?" "I'm bisexual." "Seeing what little bit he did of us last night kind of helped him realize that. But he leans more towards girls than he does guys." "Wow! This is..so unreal!" "Tell me about it," Justin replied. "I couldn't believe it myself. But, I'm wondering, where do bisexuals fit in?" "Sadly, many bisexuals are treated as outcasts by many members of the gay and straight community. Gays think bisexuals are just trying to fit somewhere in the heterosexual community, while heterosexuals think bisexuals are just confused heterosexuals. It is very confusing. And bisexuals get the worst of it all. You would believe that gays would be more accepting of bisexuals because gays themselves have had a hard time being accepted. The world still has a long way to go when it comes to acceptance." The telephone rang and Lance went to get it. "Thanks, Eric. I knew I could talk to you." Justin walked over and gave me a hug. I held him for a few minutes, knowing what was going on in his mind. Then we released our embrace and he went inside as Lance came out. "Do you know a Joshua? He said he's an old patient of yours." "Yeah." "He's on the phone." Lance handed me the receiver. "Hello?" I said. "Eric, this is Joshua." "Hi. How are you?" "Not too bad. Remember my letter I sent you." "Yeah." "We are coming down in a couple of days. There is a whole lot of trouble going on up here. You wouldn't believe it." "Like what?" "I can't tell you now. We have to get going. When we get there, I'll tell you everything." "Sure thing, Joshua. Take care of yourself." "I will. You, too." I hung up the phone. "Who is Joshua?" "He's a teenage boy that I rescued from vampires back in Los Angeles. His family was killed. Turned out he was a mutant and I was able to get him in to the Xavier Institute. One of the X-Men turned out to be his mother. Remember the dark-skinned woman in Meridian, Mississippi?" "Yeah. Didn't she control lightning?" "Yes. Her name is Ororo, codename Storm. That's Joshua's mother. Through all the trauma, he ended up finding his silver lining, his birth mother." "What was the call about? He sounded urgent." "The X-Men are on their way here. It turns out there is some anti-mutant trouble going on in New York." "I hope it doesn't start here. I would hate for a problem to develop towards you." "I don't think it will. Things have a way of working themselves out." I sat back down on the lounger and Lance came over and sat on my lap. We sat there and cuddled for a minute. "It's weird about Justin, isn't it?" Lance said. "I mean, he seemed so adamant against guys liking other guys. It was like a hatred or something." "Often times people with issues about gay people tend to have issues of their own. In some cases it is because they were molested or raped by a gay person. In others it's because they are themselves gay and don't want to accept it. I know that I believed if I hated gays and myself long enough and hard enough, I wouldn't be gay any more. It only served to destroy me on the inside. Only God's love could heal up that self-damage and lift me up out of the mud of self-hatred." "Thank heaven for that. If God hadn't have done that, I probably wouldn't have you now." "True." Lance leaned over and kissed me. We sat there and cuddled. To Be Continued.. Wow! Justin is bisexual! And it looks like some sexual tension with Eric. Not that Eric would EVER cheat on Lance. It's one of those cases of what happened and one time and what could have been had things been different. Something I discussed with one of the readers... I've never described what Eric looks like. What has he looked like in your minds eye? I would like to hear your description. Or, if you can draw, draw me a picture of what you think he looks like! I'd love to hear from you! Only two more chapters to go until "Adventures of a Real Dark Knight" close out.
