If you couldn't accept themes of homosexuality and the like, please don't read on. This is a story concerning gay males having intimate relationships and is considered FOR ADULTS ONLY due to its sexual theme and contents. BUT if you really like this stuff, please don't tell others. Everything in this story is purely FICTIONAL. Or it's not true!!! Even if this story involves NSYNC and a fictitious character, all that happens in here is fictional... again, it's not true. I don't know anything about their sexuality, as far as the I and the world know, they're straight as an arrow so I dunno if they're gay (but I do have my speculations) or not but I wrote this out of freedom of speech and my love for these guys and slash fiction. I don't own or know NSYNC personally. AGAIN, it's NOT TRUE!!! but don't we all hope that it's true... hehehehe... First Words. Hi guys. This is my 3rd work here in the boyband section. I dunno why I called it "What I See" but I just ran out of ideas for a title and thought of something simple. So the title, What I See was born. I dunno if I can manage my 3 stories at the same time but Crossed Paths is in it's "season break" and Reformation is still there. But I'll try my best. I have a little of the new season of Crossed Paths I hope y'all like this one. Remember, I love feedbacks. Mail me at pseud0nym@edsamail.com.ph!!! What I See - Chapter 1 I opened my front door of my house, and what do I see? I see my brother Paul and my sister Dee watching TV. "How did you get in here?" I asked them as I closed the door. "There's a spare key in the pot outside." Dee said to me with a grin and then returned to whatever she was watching in TV. I just came home from work. Work equates to sitting in an office thinking of ideas for web projects. Yep, I'm one of those web dweebs that design and maintain web sites. Wait a minute, me a dweeb? I think I'm far from it. "Why are you here?" I asked sitting beside my brother, Paul. Paul is my younger brother. He's 21, fresh from college but he still doesn't have a job. Why, you might us; I have no damn idea. "We were bored sitting at home so we decided to stay here." Dee told me. That's right, to disturb my peace. I remember now why I wanted to move out of our house once I graduated from college and got a job. Who is Dee? Believe it or not, she is older than me by a year. So that makes her 25. Why is she here with my bum brother? Well, she's one of those lucky people whose job is so easy that they can do it at home or just by the phone. So, she have all the time in the world to "live her life" as what she calls it. "You two staying here for the night?" I asked them so I know that I'll be preparing dinner for 3 and not just for myself. They looked at me and nodded yes. How do I get into these sorts of troubles? I stood up from the couch and headed for the kitchen to prepare dinner. Me, the martyr middle brother. While I cook some dinner for the two knuckleheads, and myself I have to say who the hell am I? Who is this "I" that keeps on talking? Well, that's me, Kyle. I am 24 years old living here in the sunny Florida. I think I mentioned earlier that I'm a webmaster of some sort. I think that just sums up the basic thing about me. Let's go back in the actual story. "I'm done. Go here!" I shouted. I heard the TV shut off and the two walk inside the kitchen and sat at the dining table. We ate heartily with a few small talks. But it was really weird for my two siblings to just barge in my house with no apparent reason. Do they need another favor from me? I hope not. But the extra kindness they are showing me is just too, um, suspicious. I groaned in realization. The two looked at me quizzically. "What do you need now?" I asked them. The two looked at each other and grins appeared in their faces. "Why do you think that we need something from you?" Paul asked me. A question answered by a question. Evading the question. They definitely need something. "I guess the extra kindness just threw it off." I said to them sarcastically. "We can't be kind to my favorite brother?" Paul said in mock hurt. Paul was never the actor in the family. "Paul, I am your ONLY brother." I said to him and the grin appeared again in his face. "Enough with the delaying tactics and just tell me." I was beginning to lose my patience with the two. "Okay fine." Dee said rolling her eyes. "We need some company for tomorrow's opening." Dee finally spilt the beans. You might be wondering about the opening Dee was talking about. It was an opening of a club that she handles. All she does is call the suppliers of everything that she needs and they deliver it to the club and the people there work on it so she doesn't have any "work time" so to speak. "You need more space fillers?" I asked laughing a little. "Of course not. We need more people to facilitate everything and make sure that everything turns right. We have a special guest going in and it took a lot of my time in arranging that." Dee explained to me. "So, who's the special guest?" I asked her. She just grinned at me. "Well, you have to go to find out." She said to me slyly. I hate it coz she knows me too well. She knows that I would be curious as hell and there's even a possibility that there isn't really a special guest. Well, it's been so long since I've gone to a club. What the heck! "Okay." I said to them finished of eating and placing my plate on the sink. "You wash the dishes." I went out of the kitchen leaving the two with their chore. Do I have something to wear? I'm not gonna tell everything that happened 24 hours after. Well, it's just me sleeping and then going to work. Well, my work is really the most boring thing in my life but I am somewhat fulfilled there coz it's been my interest since way back in high school. Maybe sometime in the future I'll make my own company and won't make it very boring. Again I got home finding my two siblings inside the house. "Ready to go?" I asked them and they nodded excitedly. They still act like kids. Thank God I'm the matured one in the family. "Wait for me then. I have to make myself pretty." I said with a grin on my face. I went to my room and changed my clothes. I've found something in my closet before I went to bed last night so I won't be too hassled in looking for one at this moment. I then went to the bathroom to fix my hair that would suit what I was wearing. After a few minutes and after I checked that I'm okay at the mirror, I went downstairs finding two very impatient people. "I thought you're never gonna come out." Paul said with exasperation. I just rolled my eyes. "Looking good." Dee complimented. I spun around letting them examine the clothes that I was wearing. Well, I was damn proud of it. I took my keys and went outside to finally leave for the club. I was really so proud of my sister in establishing this club. It's her 3rd already and they're all hotspots here in Florida. This one is called Buzzed and I still have no idea why she chose the name but I really don't care about it. We were still a few meters away but we can already hear the music blaring and there were loads of strobe lights lighting the surrounding. She's so good with these kinds of things. I stopped in front of the club and let one of her minions, I mean employees to take my car wherever it's safe. I love my Benz very much because of its sentimental value. My parents gave it to me when I turned 18. "This looks cool." I said to Dee. She just smiled at me warmly. Once inside, the music was twice louder and there were already loads of people in there. I could recognize some because they were Paul and Dee's friends from wherever they ever got them. Well, for me, I really don't have lots of friends and my best friend moved to California a year ago. I'm not introvert or like that, I just find it so hard to really click with a person. Dee talked with a few of her friends and Paul went to find his former college buddies whom he has invited here leaving me alone there. I sighed. I know that this would happen so I just walked to the bar. "Can I have a Bud?" I asked the bartender. After a few minutes, he handed me the bottle and enjoyed the solitude. After I finished my drink, I set off to the dance floor and to party. Well, that's why I'm here. The new song from Pink was blaring and I really love that song. "What's up?" Dee shouted from the DJ's booth. The people cheered her. "First of all, I wanna thank you for coming here to Buzzed and making this really a big opening! Also, I wanna announce now who our special guest for the night is." Again the people cheered. "I know that my younger brother Kyle is so curious as hell." Does she have to mention my name to all of these people? "So, I want y'all to meet NSYNC!" Dee shouted and the people went wild. Oh. My. God. She didn't. Did she shout NSYNC? The center of the dance floor was being cleared to form a circular space. Then, the start of "Pop" sounded in the speakers and the 5 guys of NSYNC performed in the space formed. I was still in awe. I can't believe that Dee pulled it off. One of the biggest acts of all time is performing here in her club. "Having fun?" Dee said from behind startling me. "How on earth did you pull it off?" I asked her curiously whilst I was watching the 5 guys performed. Well, actually I was only watching Justin perform. I didn't hear what Dee was babbling about because my eyes were just glued at someone. Justin. Who wouldn't? Just look at him. Very slim but not too skinny and not too buff like Joey. And look at those blue eyes. I think I can just stare at those blue eyes forever and never be tired of staring. And the curly hair is back! It just accentuates his handsome face. I just love him perform. I think I've watched their Live in Madison Garden a hundred of times to just see NSYNC, okay, to see Justin perform. "Did you just hear what I said?" Dee asked me snapping me out. "I guess not. Well, anyway it was kinda boring so you didn't miss anything. Do you want to meet them later?" She asked me. "You don't need to ask." I said to her grinning. The performance of NSYNC finally ended and they were ushered somewhere in the club that I don't know. We collected Paul who was a little tipsy already and went to the private room where they were. We were already at the door. I was feeling so nervous already. I was about to meet NSYNC, my favorite act in the world. Dee knocked at the door and we heard a little shuffling happening inside. The door opened... it was Justin. He just took my breath away. It was like I was facing a god or something like that. "You're Dee right?" Justin asked as he opened the door wider so we can enter. "Yeah, I am Dee. Thanks for taking up my invitation and perform here. I know that y'all have hectic schedules." Dee told them. What's going on with me? Well, I just froze at my tracks. I was also feeling a little numb. Justin gestured that we may enter and Dee has to drag me to finally get in the room. I'm in a room with NSYNC. Breath. Inhale. Exhale. Relax. "By the way, I want you to meet my younger brothers, that's Paul, the youngest." Dee said pointing at Paul who was beside me. He was acting very cool and relaxed, which is the opposite of what I was feeling at that moment. "And that's Kyle." Dee said pointing at me. I just nodded and gave them my best smile that I can offer. "I guess y'all know us but if you don't, I'm Justin, and that's JC, Lance, Joey and Chris." Justin said pointing at his band mates. "Do you wanna go mingle with the people out there or are you gonna be somewhere else?" Dee asked them. "Well, this is a very cool place and it would be very rude for us to leave such a very amazing club." Joey said. He was definitely flirting with Dee. And Dee was liking it. She was acting sweet and innocent, the total opposite of her personality. Yeah, and you can take lil Dee for a dance." Paul said sarcastically. I would have said that but Paul got first. Damn. Dee glared at him but I guess the others didn't get it. "I think it's an honor for me to have a dance with a beautiful woman like you." Joey flirted. Dee was really blushing. I walked near Dee and whispered, "Don't forget the rubber." But of course it wasn't too soft for the others not to hear it. It was intentional for the others to hear it. Dee elbowed me at the stomach that made me yelp. It was really painful. I guess the sweet image is fading already. It was too good to be true anyway. "Come on, let's meet the people." Dee said still glaring at me. Joey extended his hand like a gentleman and Dee accepted it happily forgetting the world around her. The two immediately got lost in the crowd. "Is he really that flirtatious?" I didn't mean to say it out loud but I guess I did. "Yep. I think he sees it as his art." Lance chimed in. Paul and I led them to a reserved table so they can have the option of staying there or just dancing at the dance floor. Or if they got tired or anything, they know that they can go somewhere to rest and no one's gonna bother them, except prolly me. I instructed one of the employees to cordon it off so the people who would want to harass them or something cannot bother them. "So do you want any drinks? It's in the house." I declared to them. They gave me what they wanted and relayed it to the bartender. I still can't believe that I'm actually with NSYNC. I pinched myself. I guess it's not a dream. Well, let's not get into the fact that they're pop stars. Maybe, that's what they don't need right now. Maybe, what they need is a person that would see them as normal persons who want to have fun and not famous people that need to be guarded 24/7. Okay, mental note, treat them like a normal person. I walk back to the table and I handed the drinks that they ordered to them. "Anything I missed?" I said sitting down in between Paul and Lance. I must say that Lance is really friendly. "Paul is just sharing to us your embarrassing moments back in college." Justin said laughing. I glared at Paul who just grinned. "Like what?" I asked coz there were lots of those embarrassing moments. The moments that I wished that never happened. "Um, he just told us about the time when you pissed your pants in class." Chris stated. My eyes bulged out. I can't believe that he said that to them. "Well, did he tell you guys that he almost slept with a dog during a party?" I said with a grin. The color in Paul's face just faded. "You will not tell them that." Paul said to me. "Said who?" I said defiantly. "Well, we were in this party that my friend was throwing and well, Paul was not that old yet but he wanted to come..." I said then Paul covered my mouth preventing me to continue my story of him. "Come on, he's nearing the good part." Chris said with a grin on his face. "What did we miss?" I heard Dee's voice behind us. I looked back and I saw Joey and Dee all sweaty already from the dancing. "Kyle was telling us about the time when Paul slept with a dog." Justin said. "That! I love that story. Well, they were in a party and Paul wanted to prove that he's a big guy and everything decided to make himself drunk. It was around 11pm already then, he disappeared. You know where we found him?" Dee said to them with a tinge of evil in her voice. Paul was covering his face in shame. "Where?" Joey asked. "I was in the bathroom embracing the dog." Paul said. "Don't forget the part that he's down in his boxers only." I added that made the group laugh. Well, almost. JC was keeping to himself. He was so quiet and made a very pathetic attempt of laughing. I guess it's not his day. "Let's forget Paul's incident in the shower and let's just hit the dance floor." Paul said standing up from his chair. The others soon followed his lead except JC and me. "You're not gonna join them?" JC asked me. "Nah. I'm a little bit tired already with all the things happening here. It's very stressful you know." I said to him. "How about you?" "Same. I'm tired already." JC said blandly. "Not that I'm being nosy or something but is there something bothering you?" I asked him. "What made you say that?" JC asked me a little bit defensively. "Um, first, you were not talking and I know that you're just putting up an act that you're happy. Second, I've been noticing that you look so down and everything. I have a talent in seeing that or something like that. And lastly, you just acted defensively when I asked you if there's something wrong." I said, actually more on babbled. I tend to that if I had a little drink. "Well, I think you got me there." JC said with a weak smile. "I'm just having a little trouble with myself these days. No biggie." "Well, they do say that talking it out makes wonders. Maybe you just need a stranger to listen to your troubles." I suggested to him. I guess I was a very good listener as what most my friends say. "It's too personal to share and I'm a little confused myself." JC told me. I know that line. "Okay, I won't push it anymore but being yourself is the most liberating feeling in the world. Sometimes, you just have to come out." I said mysteriously with an added wink. JC caught on with it and he gasped. "Don't worry. I won't tell anybody. People like us should stick together and help each other." I said to him reassuring him. "Um, thanks I guess. It's just hard you know. Having this different feelings inside." JC started to open up. I guess that's a good step already. "I mean they talk about all the girls they want to have and you can't relate coz you don't want a girl but a guy." "I know the feeling. I mean most of my friends way back in college always talk about the girls they fucked and everything like that. And I can't just blurt out that the guy who passed has a very cute ass." I said looking back from experience. "What you need is a friend whom you can relate. It did wonders for me when I met my best friend." "Really?" JC asked interested with what I was talking about. "Yeah. I mean we spend so much time together chatting about the guys in school and everything like that. And we always talk about who was the cutest NSYNC guy but I do say that it has to be Justin." I rambled. "Oops, pretend you didn't hear that." I said a little bit embarrassed from my slip of the tongue. "So you have a little thing with Justin, huh?" JC said grinning. "Who wouldn't? I mean look at him." I said looking at him dancing with some blond chick. "He has the looks and talents but I still don't know the personality. I mean, I think that's the most important." I shared to JC. "I know. What can you do with the looks if that person has no personality, right?" JC said to me. "And for the record, Justin has a good character." JC said with smile. "Well, everyone can dream. I know that he's with lil Miss Spears." I said sarcastically. JC just laughed at me. "You know, I like you. I mean, not in that way but as a friend. You're fun and very relaxed with who you are." JC told me. "Thanks. I like you too. You seemed to be a very good guy. Sorta like Lance." I said giggling. He was giggling as well. We chatted about loads of things and really got to know each other better. Soon, the guys went back to the table all perspiring with the heat in the dance floor. "Guys, we've gotta go. We have a photo shoot tomorrow and the interview is in the afternoon." Lance reminded the guys of their schedule. "So, he's really the organizer of the group." I said to JC who just nodded. "Anyway, thanks for being such a good company JC. If you need anything or you're just feeling bored about everything, you can talk to me." I said to JC giving him my card. "Thanks. You really helped me big time with everything that's going on in me. And expect me bothering you soon." JC said as we bid goodbye. The guys left and it was just me, Dee and Paul at the table. "You like him?" Dee asked me. "You know that I'm loyal to Justin." I told her playfully. "I just have to finalize my plan to permanently put Lil Miss Virginal Spears out of the picture." "Well, you have to convert him too after that." Paul added. "I'll think of that when the time comes." I said still giggling like a schoolgirl. "I'll be leaving you two. I still have a job not like the both of you." I said to them walking away. They wave their goodbye but I heard them say, "He likes JC." Maybe I do like JC. But I guess that's just an impossible drama. Back to reality. The night of wonder is done. ---------------- End of Chapter Well, that's it. That's the first ever installment of my new series. Unlike Reformation, this isn't centered in the Backstreet Boys but rather in the NSYNC camp. The two stories are different but maybe in the future I would do something but right now, I enjoy the direction of Reformation and I'm trying to piece together a very good and unique storyline for this new one.
