Chapter 188

Lucas smiled, walking offstage, the applause thunderous behind him and his bandmates.

Three large smiles met them; Josh, Justin and Lance still standing in the darkness of the backstage area.

"They love you, babe." Josh smiled, his arms going around his soulmate.

"They love all of us, my love. You were out there as well." Lucas smiled, Josh smiling, his eyes scanning out into the arena, the lights now on, the audience still at their seats.

Orion had done three curtain calls, the audience not leaving for anything.

"They may stay all night in hopes of seeing you guys again." Justin smiled, Finn smiling at him, the young man wiping his face on a towel, sweat showing all over his shirt.

"It's my beauty. They're drawn to it." he grinned, Lucas laughing lightly, Trish and Skyler rolling their eyes, Skyler slapping her man's leather covered ass.

"I think you need to sit on your ego, babe." she smirked, Finn smiling at her.

"You know I only have eyes for you, babe." he said, Skyler smiling, Lance and Justin fake gagging.

Finn smirked, Lucas smiling at him.

"I didn't know we had fans that had an old man fetish." he said, everyone laughing, Finn blushing.

"I happen to be only four years older than you, youngster." Finn smiled, Lucas smiling, kissing his cheek.

"I happen to have a mature fetish myself. I'm into banging old boybanders."
Everyone laughed, Justin slapping Lucas' ass now.

"And these three couldn't be happier." Lance smiled, Lucas smiling at him with love.

"Okay, enough of the googly eyes. We need to get changed. Interviews in thirty, guys." Finn smiled, Lucas nodding.

He leaned forward, kissing his man deeply.

Everyone smiled, seeing their love shining.
The two broke their kiss, smiling at each other

"That'll hold you, my love. We'll meet you back at the condo when you're done." Josh smiled, Lucas smiling at him.

"Your beautiful voice is still in my heart, my love. That and your love will see me through anything."
Josh smiled, Finn's hand going to his shoulder.

"You were fantastic, Josh. You never lost it." he smiled, Josh smiling at him.

"Thanks, Finn. You can be my first groupie, sexy."
Finn laughed, kissing Josh on the lips, surprising him.

"Nice. But your lips are too masculine. I'll have to settle for my Sky's tender ones." Finn smiled, Josh smiling at him.

"Whew! Thought I'd have to pick hair out of my teeth all night."

Everyone laughed, Finn included.

"Let's change guys. See you later, babe. We shouldn't be more than two hours." Lucas smiled, Josh nodding, Lance's arm going around him.

"See you at the condo, Luke. Our men will still be wound up. You can feel their happiness." Lance smiled.

"Great, maybe we'll hit the clubs!" Finn grinned, Skyler laughing.

"My boy's wound up. Look out New York!" she said, Finn smiling at her.

"Those days are over, babe. I'm a father now." he smiled, Skyler smiling at him with love.

"You can go out, my love. I can watch the kids." she smiled, Finn smiling at her.

"I can't have fun without you, babe." he said, Skyler tearing up.

"I think I've just become an old man groupie."

Everyone laughed, the two kissing.
Lucas smiled, kissing his three quickly on the lips as well, all three smiling.

"Later, babes." Lucas smiled, he and his bandmates heading for their dressing rooms.

Lance smiled at Justin and Josh.

"Let's go, my men. Let's get organized." Josh smiled, Justin smiling.

"For what, Joshy?" he said, Lance smiling and kissing his man's cheek.

"I think our Lucky needs to see our Josh's love, babe."

Justin smiled, Lance guiding both back to their families waiting for them offstage.

Lucas smiled, talking with Trish and Skyler, Finn following them, the young man talking on his cell phone.

They had finished their interviews, the four heading towards their waiting SUV in the arena's private parking area.

Lucas pulled out his keys, hitting the auto door opener, the vehicle beeping.

Finn tapped his shoulder, beckoning Lucas, Lucas smiling at him and handing him his keys.

Finn smiled, closing off his phone call, opening the driver's door.

"I'll drive, Lukey. You relax. It's been a long day for you."

"This from the old timer?" he smiled, Skyler and Trish laughing, Andrew's arm around his wife.

"You okay, babe? You look tired. We'll just go home and relax." he smiled, helping her into the backseat, Lucas smiling at Andrew's caring for his sister.

"I'm fine, my love." she smiled, kissing his cheek, Andrew smiling at her with love.

"I have to take care of my baby. I'll cook dinner for us." he smiled, Finn smiling at him, Finn opening the back door for his Skyler, she smiling at him.

'Keep it up, Drew. It's rubbing off on Mr. Testosterone here." she smiled, Finn blushing, Skyler kissing his cheek, climbing into the backseat of the SUV.

Finn smiled, closing the door for her.

Finn climbed into the driver's seat, Lucas now seated beside him.

"A wonderful day, Luke." Trish said behind him, Finn pulling the vehicle out of its parking spot, heading out of the tunnel to the above-ground street.

"That it was, Trashy." he smiled, Trish leaning forward, kissing her brother's cheek.

"You did good, Luke. We all saw Josh's happiness. It was matched by Justin's." she smiled, the others in the car smiling as well, Finn driving through traffic.

Lucas smiled, his own soul having felt their total happiness.

"They needed to sing again. I've felt that truth in their souls since I met them. They just needed a little push." Lucas smiled, Finn looking at him.

"A push? You did more than that, Luke. That music you gave Josh is unbelievable. That song has the makings of a number one hit! Those two together sent it through the stratosphere!" he smiled, Lucas smiling at him.

"Well, Orion's in the heavens, might as well make all the stars shine."

All four smiled, Lucas leaning back in the seat, watching the road ahead.

"They needed to sing for themselves. Justin just as much. They've both missed it. I will always make them see their inner greatness." he smiled, Finn patting his hand.

"It's called love, Lucas. We all see your love for all three." Finn smiled, Lucas nodding with a smile.
"They're my life, Finny." he said, the other three smiling.

"We all have you in our lives, Lukey. We're all happy." Finn smiled, Lucas smiling at him then back at Skyler, Andrew and Trish.

He settled back, looking around him again.

"I think you missed our street, Finny." he said, looking back.

Finn smiled at his friend, continuing to drive.

"We're taking the scenic route, Lukey." he said, looking in the rear-view mirror at his wife and Trish.

"Okay, Finny. But if you get lost you're asking for directions, not me." he smiled, Finn laughing.

"Me man, me no ask for directions! Me a smart man!" Finn grunted, everyone laughing.

"We definitely have to check your levels, Neanderthal." Lucas smiled, Finn winking at him.

"I've got a big club that I swing, so watch out!"

Lucas laughed, looking in the rear-view mirror, Trish, Andrew and Skyler smiling back at him.

"What's going on, guys?" Lucas said, the four smiling at him.

"Go with the flow, Lukey. It's a nice night for a drive. We sang our hearts out, let's relax and feel the night's beauty." Trish said, Andrew's arms pulling her close, their lips meeting.

"Ah, young love." Skyler smiled, Finn smiling back at her.

"Can't hold a candle against our slightly older love." he said, blowing a kiss back at her, she patting his shoulder from behind.

Lucas smiled at the two, Finn winking at Lucas.

Lucas shook his head, relaxing in the quietness now surrounding him.

A few minutes later their vehicle pulled up in front of a small restaurant, Lucas recognizing it.

His violet pools looked at Finn, then back at Trish, Andrew and Skyler.

"We've been told to drop you off here, Luke. Someone's waiting inside for you." Finn smiled, Lucas staring at him.

"You guys can come in. I know you're all hungry after tonight." Lucas smiled, Trish smiling, leaning forward and kissing his cheek.

"Earth to Lukey. Your man's waiting for you alone inside with love in his heart. He's organized this. Why do you think we made you keep the suit on, brother?" she smiled, Skyler smiling and climbing out of the vehicle, walking around the car and opening Lucas' door.

Lucas looked at all of them, Finn kissing his cheek.

"Your love awaits, Luke. We're heading home and ordering pizza, crashing and babysitting. You need some alone time with your man." he smiled, Lucas smiling.

"Aw, thanks, guys." he smiled, Finn kissing his cheek.

"Thank your man, it's his idea."

Lucas smiled, the young man climbing out of the vehicle, Skyler kissing his cheek, climbing into his vacated seat, closing the door, all four smiling and waving at him.

Finn beeped the horn, driving away.

Lucas smiled, his eyes looking at the restaurant before him, remembering the last time he was here.

He walked into the restaurant, a smiling face meeting his.

"Good evening, Mr. Carver. A joy to see you again." the man smiled, shaking Lucas' hand.

"Hello, Vincent. It's Lucas, remember?" Lucas smiled, the man smiling at him.

"Yes, of course, Lucas. Josh is waiting for you." Vincent smiled, the man guiding Lucas to a small table in the back of the rather quiet restaurant.

It was close to ten, but the place was still showing a few customers.

Lucas' smile widened, seeing Josh rising from his seat at the table, Josh still wearing his suit.

Josh's arms went around Lucas when he walked up to his man, their lips meeting, Joey's cousin smiling at the two.

Josh broke their kiss, smiling at his man.

"Surprise, my love." he said, Lucas smiling at him.

"What's this, my Josh?" he said, Vincent smiling at Josh.

"A bottle of your best Italian wine, Vincent." he smiled, the man nodding, bowing to both, walking away.

Josh pulled out Lucas' chair, the young man smiling at him, sitting down.

Josh's blue eyes sparkled, sitting down across from his man, his hand going in his.

"It's a special night, my love. A night for just you and me." he smiled, Lucas smiling at him.

"And my devious friends guided me into it." he said, Josh smiling wide.

"I needed their help. Do you remember this place, Lucky?"
Lucas smiled, squeezing his hand.

"The place of our first date. It seems a lifetime ago." Lucas smiled, Josh leaning forward and kissing his lips again.

Lucas smiled, seeing Josh's open love on full display.

"It's been a lifetime of love, my angel."
Lucas smiled, Vincent returning to the table, a bottle of white wine in an ice bucket in his hand.

He smiled, setting it down, opening the bottle, smiling at both.

"Joey was in two weeks ago. He told me of your happiness now. Congratulations to you both. On your marriage and your new family." the man smiled, the two smiling at him, the man filling their wine glasses.

"Thank you, Vincent." Josh smiled, the man patting his shoulder, smiling.

"You and Joey were always close, Josh. Your happiness was his happiness. And him happy is my happiness. Let me know when you're ready to order." the man smiled, walking away.

The two men smiled at each other, Josh raising his wine glass

"Here's to us, my love. And to our first three hundred days of love." Josh smiled, Lucas looking surprised.

"Oh, my love. I didn't. . ." he began to say, Josh smiling and leaning forward, their lips meeting again, Josh silencing Lucas' words.

The two parted, Lucas staring at Josh with tearful eyes.

"Let me take care of the anniversaries, my Lucky. I have the romantic soul as you've always said." Josh smiled, Lucas smiling at him.

"I love you, Josh. For myself, each day is a day of love. I got lost in the days." he said, Josh smiling.

"I got lost in your love."

Josh's hand squeezed Lucas', the young man smiling at him.

"Thank you for tonight, Lucas. For letting me sing my heart out to the world. I never realized how much I missed that feeling. Of being one with the audience, one with my musical soul." Josh said, soft tears showing in his blue pools.

"I felt your need, my Joshua. I'll always make you fulfill your needs." Lucas smiled, Josh smiling at him.

"Our Jus is bouncing off the walls back home. You lit the fire in his soul as well. I think our Lance is going to have an amazing evening." Josh smiled, Lucas lightly laughing.

"Lucky Lance. He's almost as lucky as myself." Lucas said, squeezing Josh's hand.

"I love you, Lucas. I'll say that every day and every night as I awake and as I fall asleep in your arms. I will always give you the gift of my love."

Lucas leaned forward, lightly kissing Josh's warm lips.

"What? No jewelery?" he smiled, Josh laughing.

"I am the only jewel you need." he smiled, Lucas smiling at him.

"The jewel of my heart."

Josh smiled, waving towards Vincent, the man at another table across the room, the man smiling at him.

"Let's order dinner, my love. The same fare as that first night."

"And later we'll take a walk along the harbor front like we did that night."

Josh smiled, looking into Lucas' violet pools.

"I'm not as nervous as that night. Your love has calmed my soul."

Lucas smiled, Vincent walking up to them with menus.

Josh sighed, wiping his lips with his napkin, Lucas smiling at him as he sipped his glass of wine.

Dinner was over, the two dining on delicious Italian fare, the two talking with love and happiness.

"I remember that night so well. I asked you to marry me." Lucas smiled, Josh squeezing his hand.

"And I said only if you were pregnant." Josh smiled back, Lucas laughing.

"Been there, done that."

Josh laughed, staring into his husband's violet pools.

"They are the treasures of our hearts, Lucas. You've given me so much love." he said, Lucas seeing the tears in his blue pools.

"You have done the same for me, my Joshua. My life is so filled with your love. And our other four of our hearts. We are a family in all ways, Daddy."
Josh laughed, Lucas loving his happy laugh.

"Okay, Mommy."

Lucas laughed, clinking his glass with Josh's.

"I ain't diapering Justin. I've seen what comes out of him."
Both men laughed, Vincent walking up to the table, a waitress clearing away their dinner plates.

"Dessert, my friends?" he smiled, Lucas smiling up at him.

"I'd love some of your mother's famous cheesecake, Vincent." he smiled, the Italian smiling at him.

"My mother made a fresh one just tonight. I'll bring it." he smiled, patting Lucas' shoulder, walking away again.

Lucas smiled at his man, Josh smiling back.

"Thank you for this night, my love. It's been so long since we've been alone together. Don't get me wrong, I love our family, our loves and our sons. But being alone with you, my soul feels its center."

Josh smiled, raising his glass again, Lucas smiling and raising his.

"Then I promise you that I'll always steal you away so that our love can feel its oneness."

Lucas smiled, clinking his glass with Josh's.

"How does the first Friday of every month sound, my love?" Lucas smiled, Josh smiling with happiness.

"Really, Luke?"

"Yes, my Beamy. Let's make that our date night. Every month we'll go away for a nice dinner, a nice walk and a night of cuddling and love."

Josh teared up, Lucas leaning forward and kissing him again.

"I have to keep my man happy. And our alone time will make me just as happy."

Josh smiled widely, Vincent returning with two plates of cheesecake and a carafe of coffee.

Both men thanked him, their hands still entwined as they sampled the delicious cheesecake.
"Divine!" Lucas said, smiling up at Vincent.

"My mother will be pleased. I'll bring two more slices."
The two men smiled, feeding each other the delicious dessert.

They both finished two slices, drinking coffee and quietly talking of their love for each other, and for their family.

"What comes next, my love?"
"Our lives of happiness, my angel." Lucas said, sipping at his coffee cup.

"What about the destiny of your soul?" Josh said, Lucas staring into his blue eyes.

"The end of that draws near, my love. The path solidifies. Trust in me to see its eventuality. I just need a few realities and then it will be over."
"What will happen to us, Lucas?" Josh said, Lucas staring into his concerned blue pools.

"Nothing will happen to us, Josh. Our love is forever." Lucas said, Josh smiling at him.

"I know that, my Lucas. I'm just worried for your soul, and for your physical well-being."
Lucas smiled, his hand running up Josh's hairy arm.

"You and our two loves are the reality of my physical being. Your love re-energizes me. And my soul is filled with all your love."

Josh smiled, looking into his violet pools.

"I'm sorry if you think I'm being a baby about this. About worrying for your well-being."

"You're not a baby, Joshua. I'd be more concerned if you didn't worry. That shows that you love me deeply."

"I do love you, my Lucas."

"I know, Josh. Your love--all your love--is the greatest weapon I can have to fight any battle. You are the answer to my happiness."
Josh smiled, lost in Lucas' beautiful voice.

"So, will you marry me?" Lucas smiled, winking at Josh.

"Sorry, can't. Already married to a very jealous man."

Lucas laughed, smiling at Josh.

"I heard your husband's been having an affair with Justin Timberlake."

Josh smiled, raising an eyebrow.

"That popstar tramp? He could do so much better!"

Lucas laughed, Josh smiling.

"He did. He married a beautiful angel."
Josh smiled, waving at Vincent.

"Let's settle the bill and go for a drive, my love." Josh smiled, Lucas smiling.

"Parking with an angel. Damn, what a life!"

Josh smiled, Vincent returning to their table.

Lucas smiled, feeling the coolness of the late February night, his hand in Josh's, the two strolling along the harbour front.

They'd returned to the place where they'd first walked, the weather a lot cooler and a light snow flittering down from the dark night.

"It's freezing out here, Lucas." Josh said, Lucas smiling at his man, Josh pulling his coat up around his neck, Lucas kissing his cheek.

"You need to breathe the air of winter, my love. It revitalizes the soul." Lucas smiled, Josh smiling at him.

"It freezes mine."

Lucas smiled, pulling him close.

"Then come with me, my angel." Lucas smiled, pulling Josh over towards a bench, Lucas smiling and seeing it was the same bench where they'd first sat and kissed.

Lucas' arm wrapped around his man, Josh feeling his instant warmth.

Josh smiled, Lucas unbuttoning his wool winter coat, pulling his man against his chest, Josh's head going against it.

He wrapped his coat around his man, Josh feeling the warmness of his man's body.

"There's the warmth I need."

Lucas smiled, kissing Josh's forehead.

"I love you, Josh. On this spot three hundred days ago you entered my soul. Thank you for doing this. You've made me realize all that I now have."

Josh raised his head, staring into his violet pools.

"My soul is healed, Josh. Your love from that day has healed my soul. And now I know in my heart that you're mine forever. You've given me the greatest gift. Your unending, unchanging love. I love you so much."
Josh smiled, looking around.

The two were the only people out tonight, the area deserted.

"This is the same spot, Lucas. The same bench where we first kissed."

Lucas smiled, his finger rubbing Josh's smooth cheek.

"Is this all a dream, my love?" Josh said, Lucas' lips meeting his.

Josh felt the love and warmth of that kiss, its beauty flowing through his soul.

"What does your soul tell you, my love?" Lucas said, breaking the kiss.

"It tells me that you're real and I'm so happy that I have your love."
Lucas smiled, kissing his lips gently again.

"Thank you for all this, Josh. For tonight and every night of the last three hundred days and nights. The next three hundred thousand are going to be amazing."

Josh smiled, then laughed, Lucas smiling at him.

"That's like eight hundred and twenty-one years, babe."

Lucas smiled, staring into Josh's blue pools.

"Our love is eternal, my smart mathematician.  It will last forever."

Josh stared into his man's violet pools, smiling at Lucas.

Lucas watched Josh's hand move, the man pulling something out of his coat pocket, Lucas staring at a small gift-wrapped box.

Their eyes met, Josh smiling at him.

"Oh, Josh! I didn't get. . ." Lucas began to say, Josh kissing his lips.

"You've given me your love, my Lucas. That's more than enough gift. Plus you gave me my musical soul again. I wanted to get you something special."

Lucas teared up, Josh pulling him close, setting the box into his hand, smiling at him.

"Open it, my love. I saw it in a store a few months back and thought of you. I think it's perfect."
Lucas smiled, slowly unwrapping the box, smiling at Josh.

Josh took the paper from his hands, Lucas staring at a wooden box of soft colored mahogany, a stencilled design on its top.

Lucas' eyes met Josh's, the man smiling at him.

Lucas stared down at the pyramid etched within the box's surface, a star etched within its center, another shining star within its center.

"A star within a star." he softly said, Josh smiling at him.

Lucas opened the box slowly, staring at a beautiful pocket watch laying in its velvety blue inner center.

Etched on the watch's golden outer face was an eagle and a bear, a star shining above them.

Lucas' eyes raised, Josh staring into his violet pools.

"The symbols of your family's pasts, Luke. An eagle and a bear. The guards of Kurucu's Haven's entrance. And on the face of your own great-grandfather's watch piece."

Lucas nodded, lifting the watch out of the box, setting the box down on the bench between them.

He stared at the golden watch, opening its outer shell.

The clock face within it was white, golden hands showing the time.

Written across the bottom part of the face were two lines of golden words.

                            Destiny's Path

                      There is Always Time

Lucas' raised his eyes, staring into Josh's blue pools again.

"I thought it was fitting. You walk your path of destiny, but you'll always make time for our love."

Lucas teared up, staring down at the watch.

"It's beautiful, my love. I'll wear it on special occasions, your love on full view. Like tonight." Lucas smiled, staring into his Josh's blue pools.

He saw the love and happiness there, his happiness at Lucas' loving the watch.

"I'm glad you like it, my love. I thought it so matched you."
Lucas smiled, looking down at the watch.

"It does, my Joshua. In more ways than you'll ever know."

Josh smiled, snuggling against Lucas.

Lucas stared at the watch, seeing the time was a few minutes fast.

He touched the hands knob, pulling it out.

He moved the minute hand back a few minutes, pushing the knob back in.

"I'm glad you like it, my love. I thought it so matched you."

Lucas stared at Josh with soft surprise, the man smiling at him with love.

"It does, my Joshua. In more ways than you'll ever know."

Josh smiled, snuggling against Lucas.

Lucas stared down at the watch, his mind filling with a soft confusion.

He felt Josh trembling against him, even his warmth not enough to fight off the coolness of the rising wind.

"It's getting late, my love. And you're freezing. Let's go home and I'll warm your soul."

Josh smiled, looking into Lucas' violet pools.

"I have so much more to offer."

Lucas smiled, the two men moving, their lips meeting, their kiss filled with deep love.

The two parted, Lucas smiling at his husband.

"Three hundred days of love. I can't wait till the first Friday in March."
Josh laughed, smiling and rising from his seat, pulling his man up to his feet.

Their hands joined, Lucas picking up the box and putting the watch back into it, closing its lid.

Josh smiled at him, Lucas smiling back.

"Destiny's path begins. And there will always be time for our love."
Josh smiled, the two walking back to Josh's SUV.

Lucas walked with a focused mind, the mysteries within it deepening.

The two walked into their condo, two smiling faces meeting theirs.

Trish and Skyler both smiled at the two men, the two watching television, their husbands sound asleep beside them.

"Don't you two look happy?" Skyler smiled, Josh beaming, his arm going around his man.

"I'm with my Lucky. That's happiness for me." he smiled, Trish smiling up at her brother.

"It matches only my brother's happiness, I see." she smiled, Lucas smiling and sitting down beside her, kissing her cheek.

"You didn't have to wait up for us. Your men need their beds." he smiled, looking at Drew sleeping on her other side.

Trish and Skyler smiled, Josh sitting down beside Skyler, Finn softly snoring on her other side, his body stretched across the couch.

"They conked out midway through the last movie. We didn't have the heart to move them. Then we started another movie. It just ended." Skyler smiled, Lucas smiling at her.

Justin and Lance were staying at Justin's condo along with Justin's and Lance's parents.

They were all coming over in the morning for breakfast.

"What time did Justin and Lance leave?"
The two women smirked, Skyler smiling at Lucas.

"Oh, they left around eleven. Justin was in a heated way." she smiled, Trish laughing.

"Let's just say I'm sure it was a noisy night across town, if you know what I mean. That Timberlake looks like a tiger." she laughed, Josh and Lucas smiling, then softly laughing.

"Timby's hyper, that's a fact. Lance must be sleeping the sleep of exhaustion." Josh smiled, Lucas smiling at him.

"No, I think Timby's the exhausted one. Our Lancy knows how to control that tiger.'

Josh laughed, Skyler kissing his cheek.

"How did your surprise go?" she smiled, Lucas smiling at her and Trish.

"Your organized surprise went fantastic. My heart's filled with my man's unending love as usual. Thanks, Sisters."

The two women smiled.

"We'll talk in the morning. Let's get our loves to bed." Skyler smiled, shaking Finn's shoulder.

"Wake up, Frankie!" she smiled, Finn jumping up.

"What? The kids awake?" he said, looking around.

Lucas rose from his seat, pointing at Finn.

"It's alive! It's alive! Run for your lives!" he yelled, then laughed, the others laughing, Finn rubbing his eyes.

"Ha. . .ha, Luke. You're back?" he yawned, his arms going around his lady.

Andrew was now awake, his arms around his wife.

"Yes, Finny. We're back." Lucas smiled, Finn smiling at him, the man stretching.

"The look on your faces tells it all, my friend." he smiled, standing up, Skyler rising as well.

Lucas smiled, Finny pulling him up, hugging him.

Josh smiled, rising from his seat as well.

"On that note of happiness, we're heading for bed." Finn smiled, Lucas smiling at him.

"Thanks for watching the kids, guys. I'm sure Lance and Jus were preoccupied."

Trish smiled, kissing her brother's cheek, Andrew's arms around her.

"No problem, Luke. We're their aunts and uncles. Our love is theirs."

Josh and Lucas both smiled, the two joining hands.

Trish and Skyler shut off the lights, their men at their sides, Josh and Lucas following them down the hallway.

They all hugged their goodnights, Josh and Lucas walking into their bedroom, Lucas smiling and walking around the bed, checking on the boys sleeping in their crib.

Josh smiled, pulling off his jacket, unloosening his tie, watching his man cover their treasures with blankets.

Lucas smiled, walking back around the bed, his soulmate's arms wrapping around him.

"Right where I want to be." Josh said, kissing his man's warm lips.

"Put some music on, babe. I don't want this night to end." Lucas smiled, Josh smiling and leaning back, hitting the button on the small stereo alarm clock on the nightstand.

Soft music began to play, Lucas pulling his Josh close, his head going against his chest, Josh smiling and holding him, the two softly swaying to the music.

"Right where I want to be, too. This is so nice." Lucas purred, Josh kissing his forehead.

"I love you, Lucas. I'll always try to be romantic." Josh smiled, Lucas raising his head, staring into his blue pools.

"You have a romantic soul, my Joshua. I love you, always." Lucas smiled, Josh kissing his lips.

"Let's get undressed and climb into bed. I want to snuggle with you all night. Just the two of us and our love close." Josh said, Lucas tearfully smiling at him.

"There's that romantic soul. And here I thought I was going to be ravished for hours. Your hunky boy toy was all ready to succumb to your desires, Daddy."
Josh laughed, lightly slapping Lucas' ass.

"Hunky indeed. But I can take you anytime, beautiful. Tonight, I only need your love."

Lucas smiled, shaking his head softly.

"Your love is so amazing, my love. I need only its warmth tonight as well."

Josh smiled, stepping back.

"Allow me, my love. I love undressing you."
Josh smiled, Lucas' hands going to his strong clothed chest.

"I remember the first night I saw you naked. The vision of your beauty burned itself into my soul. From that night--and forever until the end of time--that's the vision I'll always see of you. My beautiful Italian smooth god." Lucas said, opening Josh's shirt, his hands going across his warm, smooth chest.

"Speaking of romantic. That's beautiful, my love. And the vision of your beauty is burned into my soul as well." Josh teared up, Lucas smiling, pulling the shirt off Josh's smooth body.

His hands went to the belt weaved through Josh's belt loops, Lucas unbuckling it, pulling it off the pants, Lucas smiling at Josh.

He wrapped the leather band around Josh's neck, kissing his lips.

"Last chance to get kinky, babe." Lucas smiled, batting his eyelashes.

Josh laughed, Lucas kissing his chest, unbuttoning the pants, pulling the zipper down.

"Blue is your color my love. It matches your eyes." Lucas said, pulling the blue dress pants down, Josh stepping out of them, standing in only baby blue boxer briefs.

Lucas smiled, his hand caressing Josh's soft mound.

"The tiger sleeps, the cub just needs to cuddle." Lucas smiled, pulling his man against him, kissing his soft lips.

Josh smiled, staring into Lucas' violet pools.

"Climb into bed, my love. I'll undress and be in your arms in moments." Lucas smiled, Josh smiling, Lucas pulling off his jacket and tie, Josh moving the pillows off the bed to a chair, pulling the covers back, climbing into bed.

Lucas smiled, slapping his firm ass, Josh looking back.

"Tenderized to perfection. I'm so going to own that beauty tomorrow." Lucas smiled, Josh seeing the love in his violet pools.

"I want it wet and wild, sexy."

Lucas smiled, his shirt coming off as Josh lay back against the pillows, staring at his man's revealing beauty.

Lucas quickly removed his clothes, smiling at his man.

"Like what you see?"

"Every day and every night. It is the physique of my hunger."

Lucas smiled, tossing his clothes onto the chair by the bed, the young man now standing in only white boxer briefs.

Josh smiled, watching him walk around the bed, Lucas checking on the babies again, smiling and climbing into the bed beside his man.

Josh smiled, moving his body, shutting off the lamp, the room bathed in semidarkness, a soft glow of light coming from a night light by the babies' crib.

Lucas snuggled against his man's smooth chest, Josh wrapping his arms around him, feeling the instant warmth

"So many nights, my love. So many nights I've had your heated closeness. Your warmth warms my soul. " Josh said, the two men looking into each other's loving eyes.

"As does yours, my love. You will always be the greater flame of my soul. Justin and Lance burn brightly as well, but your warmth gives me life."

Josh teared up, Lucas kissing his lips with love.

Lucas broke the kiss, snuggling more into his man, Josh feeling his love.

"A wonderful day, my love. From the idolization of so many, to the greatest idol of my heart." Josh smiled, Lucas kissing his warm chest.

"The best day, my love The three hundredth day of your love. I can't wait for the rest."

Josh smiled, his head going against Lucas'.

The two sighed, snuggling within their love.

"Goodnight, my love."

"Goodnight, my life." Lucas said, Josh closing his eyes.

Lucas lay against his warm chest, closing his eyes, a soft glow showing under their closed eyelids.

Lucas' eyes opened, hearing a soft sound.

He rose from Josh's warm chest, looking around the room.

He heard a soft gurgling in the semidarkness, the young man moving from Josh's loving arms, moving towards the crib.

He looked down into it, seeing a set of blue and violet eyes staring up at him.

Little Joshy gurgled, little Justy sound asleep beside him.

"Hello, beautiful. What's got you awake so late?" Lucas smiled, leaning down and picking up the baby, the boy snuggling against Lucas' naked chest.

He cooed, Lucas rubbing his back and climbing back into the bed, sitting beside Josh's sleeping form.

He rocked the baby, smiling down into his upturned eyes.

He saw a soft glow in their violet and blue centers, Lucas kissing the baby's cheek.

"My special angel." he softly said, Josh murmuring beside him.

Lucas glanced at the clock, reading three-thirty.

"Early indeed. Let's get you a bottle, sweetie." Lucas smiled, hearing the baby's stomach grumbling.

The baby softly smiled, Lucas smiling and rising from the bed, Josh remaining unmoved.

Lucas smiled, quietly checking on the other infant, Justy still asleep.

"You each have a mind of your own, but a love of connected magic." he smiled, quietly walking out of the bedroom.

Lucas warmed a bottle in the darkened kitchen, rocking his son while it readied, a blanket wrapped around his body to keep him warm.

Lucas picked up the bottle, testing it, smiling and walking out into the living room, sitting down on one of the couches, feeding his son.

The baby cooed, sucking on the warm milk.

"You have the Chasez and Timberlake need for sustenance." he smiled, lifting little Joshy up, patting his back, the baby softly belching against his chest.

He moved him back, the baby finishing his bottle.

Lucas softly hummed, the baby's eyes closing while he sucked.

Lucas' eyes went to the end table beside the couch, seeing Josh's gift, the box sitting where he'd set it down.

He continued to hum, staring at the mahogany box.

The baby in his arms stopped sucking, Lucas smiling down at his son, the boy sound asleep, the bottle empty.

Lucas set the bottle down on the coffee table, snuggling his small body against his smooth chest, another soft belch greeting the silence of his sleep.

Lucas smiled, gently laying his son down on the couch, covering his sleeping form more with the blanket.

Lucas sighed, leaning over and picking up the mahogany box, opening its lid.

He pulled the golden watch out, staring at its etched surface.

The eagle's wings were expanded, the bear standing beside it, the star shining above them.

He turned the watch over, seeing a star etched on the back, another star laying within its center.

He opened the watch, staring at its old, white face.

The hour numbers were etched in ancient roman numerals, Lucas sensing the watch had a French flair to its design.

He saw small diamonds inlayed in each numerical hour.

He gently pulled the watch mechanism out of its base, Lucas staring at the inner shell of the watch case.

He softly smiled, staring at what was showing there.

"Destiny, always a path of destiny. I believe you are the answer." he softly said.

Lucas' eyes glowed, changing colours.

"You okay, Luke?"
Lucas' eyes raised, staring into Finn's blue pools, the man standing at the end of the couch, his son in his arms.

Finn saw a soft glow in Lucas' now green pools, their greenness changing back to violet.

"I'm fine, Finny. You're up late." Lucas smiled, Finn smiling at him, sitting down on the couch beside him, Lucas putting the watch mechanism back into its case, Finn staring at the golden watch.

"That's a beautiful watch, Luke." he said, Lucas smiling at him.

"A gift from my love. He always sparks the love in my soul."
Finn smiled, Lucas handing him the watch.

"Trade you." he smiled, Finn taking the watch, Lucas taking little Julian from his arms, the baby cooing up at him.

"He's been fussy for the last hour. But a moment in your arms and he's again an angel." Finn smiled, Lucas smiling back.

"He feels my ever-giving love."

Finn nodded, looking over the watch, staring at its beauty.

"It's beautiful, Luke. Looks old, too."
"Yes, I think it's very old. I've been wanting to get a pocket watch for some time. Ever since I saw my grandfather's, the one Grayson now carries."

Finn smiled, handing the watch back to Lucas, Lucas setting it back into its box, staring at it for a moment, then closing its lid.

Finn stared at its etched surface, the pyramid showing.

"I see the significance Josh saw in it. An Egyptian symbol on the box, your family's eagle and bear within." Finn said, Lucas nodding.

"My Joshua is in tune with my destiny. All paths join." Lucas smiled, Finn smiling at his son in Lucas' arms, then looking at little Joshy on Lucas' other side.

"Your angel was awake as well."

"Yes, but his was hunger's need. Julian just needed my love." Lucas smiled, looking down at the child, the baby now asleep in his arms.

"We'll have to start calling you Mary Poppins. Babysitter extraordinaire."

Lucas softly laughed, looking at his own son.

"They're the children of my heart. All four of them. I'll love your children as greatly as I'll love my own."
Finn smiled, hugging his friend gently, Lucas feeling his hairy warmth against his own near naked form.

"You should take your son back to his bed. And I'm sure Sky's missing your warm hairiness."

Finn smiled, kissing Lucas' cheek.

"Our sons need their beds. As do we. I didn't hear any thunderous desires coming from your room tonight. Everything okay, brother?" Finn smiled, Lucas smiling at him.

"We only needed our love tonight, Finny. And Timby wasn't here to rock our world."
Finn laughed, his son moving in Lucas' arms, Lucas smiling and guiding the child back into Finn's, Finn smiling at him.

Lucas picked up his own son gently, little Joshy snuggling against his chest.

"Did you ever imagine, Luke? Us with kids?" Finn smiled, Lucas kissing his cheek.

"I've always known your heart was too large to not give your love to children, Finny. You're a child at heart yourself." Lucas smiled, Finn smiling, looking down at his son.

"For them I'll mature, Luke." he smiled, Lucas smiling at him.

"Never, Finnegan. They'll love your childlike mirthfulness. You'll only ever be yourself."

Finn smiled, staring into Lucas' now violet pools.

"As you always have been, and always will be, Lucas. My brother always."
Lucas smiled, kissing Finn's cheek again.

"Thanks, bro."

Finn smiled, kissing Lucas' cheek.

"Let's go back to the love, Lukey."

The two men smiled, Lucas picking up the watch, the two men rising and walking down the hallway, parting at Finn's doorway.

Lucas smiled, walking back into his own bedroom.

He saw his Josh hadn't moved, the man's soft breathing the only sound in the room.

Lucas set his son down beside his other son in their crib, the two sound asleep.

Lucas smiled, setting the watch box on the nightstand, climbing back into the bed beside his soulmate.

He laid against Josh's warm chest, the man's arm sneaking around him.

"You left my love, my Lucas. Everything okay with Joshy?"

Lucas smiled, looking up into Josh's now open blue pools.

"I felt you gone, and saw the baby gone. I didn't hear him wake."
Lucas smiled, kissing his man's lips.

"I did. He was just hungry. He's fed, happy and sleeping against his brother again."
Josh smiled, kissing his man's lips again, Lucas' head going against his man's smoothness.

"See you in the morning, my love. You're on kiddie duty." Lucas said, closing his eyes.

Josh smiled, kissing his man's forehead.

"Daddy's got your back."

Lucas smiled, kissing his man's smooth chest.

The two settled down, Josh's eyes closing again.

Lucas smiled, his eyes opening and looking towards the nightstand.

Life gives us surprises.

I think I've just been given the answer to the end's renewal.

I only hope he sees it as well.

Lucas smiled, a tear falling on his man's chest.

For you, anything's worth that risk.

My life has found its answer.

Lucas closed his eyes, his face showing a soft smile.

He failed to see a set of softly glowing eyes watching in the darkness.

Lucas seems to have found a surprise within the watch.

What secret, if any, lays hidden within it?

Shadows continue to watch our hero.

Who lurks in the darkness?
