Chapter 229

Lucas smiled, walking into the kitchen, five smiling faces greeting him.

"Daddy! Yous ups!" Little Justy said, seated in Lance's lap, Lucas smiling at his son.

"Yes, my boy. Your fathers let me sleep in." Lucas said, kissing Justin's lips, the man carrying a platter of bacon and sausages to the table, Josh smiling up at his husband, little Joshy seated in his lap, a pancake in his hand.

"You needed the beauty sleep, gorgeous!" Justin smiled, Lucas lightly slapping his shorts covered ass, the young man leaning down and kissing both of his sons' cheeks.

"I think the lotion covering me last night is a miracle drug. So enriching." he smirked, Lance laughing.

"Yes, we all had to shower this morning, it was all over us." he smiled, handing little Justy his pancake.

The two boys licked their lips, biting into the fluffy warm treats.

"And you all look even more beautiful this morning." Lucas said, Josh looking up at him.

"We're ravenous as well." Josh smiled, his husband's lips meeting his, Lucas sitting down beside him.

"The whole community was last night." Lucas said, filling his plate with food.

"New angel love must be beautiful." Lance smiled, Lucas smiling at him.

"New love and familiar love are both intense." Lucas said, Justin smiling at him.

"You amaze us always, my sweet." he said, Lucas smiling at him.

"I can't believe Gideon and Pierce are both hidden angels." Josh said, Lucas smiling at him, sipping at his orange juice, Justin having filled his glass.

"Angels walk on all paths. There are more hidden." he said, Lance's green eyes meeting his.

"Four left to be exact of the hidden nine. I take it you know who they are?" he said, Lucas smiling, winking at him.

"I have some clues." he smiled, Justin's hand going on top of his.

"And you're going to be mysterious about it as always. No hint?" he said, Lucas smiling, kissing his cheek.

"You all love my surprises." he said, the other three nodding with smiles.

"Daddy's wuv great!" Little Joshy said, Lucas smiling at his son.

"Right on, son." he said, the boy smiling at him, diving into another pancake.

"So what's on the agenda for today?" Lance said, Lucas smiling at him.

"Family life and love's path." he said, the three smiling at him.

"You and me wet would start the day off great." Justin smiled, Lucas smiling at him.

"Okay, babe. I haven't tossed you into the pool in a while." he smiled, Josh and Lance laughing, Justin blushing.

"I've been good." he said, Lucas smiling and kissing his lips.

"I'd say you've been damn near fantastic. Most of that lotion was yours." he said, Justin smiling at him.

"Your love empties me, babe." he winked, Lucas laughing.

"Pool time for our boys first thing. Then we circle the community of love." he smiled, his three soulmates smiling at him.

"Excellent. A day of gathering love." Josh said, Lucas smiling at him.

His violet eyes met Lance's green, the man staring at him with love.

"You seem deep in thought, Lancy." Lucas said, continuing to finish his breakfast.

"Yesterday was surprising, Luke. The interview's drama, Jeremy's shown inner magic, Cardinal Santiago's visit. The world's going to be going full throttle today." he said, Lucas nodding.

"Yes, Lancy. The world's awakening to the truth hidden from it. The path is on its final trek."
"What's going to happen next, Lucky?" Josh said, his hand going into his.

"The world will stew in the showing conceived truths."

"Clive called just before you came down. The front gates are inundated with reporters stretching as far as the eye can see. We're surrounded." Justin said, Lucas smiling at his soulmates.

"My love surrounds this community. Their protection and my own will keep us all safe. The next two weeks will be for just us. The world can think its own thoughts and ready itself."

"It's almost over, babe." Josh said, Lucas smiling and kissing his lips, little Joshy clapping in his lap.

"Almost, babe. I just have a final path to walk. My love will be there after."
"We love you, Lucky. We need that love always." Justin said, Lucas smiling at him.

The man looked into all three sets of eyes, all seeing his deep love.

"After the battle there may be a time of wonder and destiny. But I promise you three of my soul that I'll be back here eating at this table forever. I'll never give up Justin's breakfast love."

Justin smiled, tears showing in his eyes.

"That's not the wetness you need, my love. I'm going to own you in that pool shortly."
Justin smiled, the other two smiling at Lucas.

"We're a family, now and forever." Lucas smiled, Lance smiling at him.
"We love you, Lucas. You are the center of our love."

Lucas smiled leaning over the table and kissing his moist lips.

"Time will show the truth of myself. You only have to move the hands of life to have that love always."

Lance nodded, not totally sure of what Lucas meant.

"Your heart holds so much mystery." he said, Lucas smiling at him.

"The mystery of me is my love. And what it's going to do to all three of you today."

All three smiled, the two infants clapping their hands.

"Plays, Dada! Wuv's running with you!" Little Justy said, little Joshy clapping and smiling, Justin smiling at both boys.

"Right after breakfast, my sons." he beamed, his soulmates smiling at him, the six finishing their breakfast.

Justin gasped, his lungs filling with air, the man feeling his body's soaking wetness.

His head had just broke the surface, two lips meeting his, the man lost in the love flowing through him.

Josh and Lance smiled in the shallow end of the pool, their sons in the water between them, both splashing their fathers.

"Well he was true to his word. He did toss him in the pool." Josh smiled, Lance laughing.

"Right after he tackled him on the patio and stripped him bare. The boy never stood a chance against Lucky's needs." he said, Josh kissing Lance's wet lips.

"And I'm in need of you too, my angel." he said, Lance smiling and hearing the desire in Josh's voice.

"We'll trade with the porn stars after they have their fill."

Josh laughed, smiling and looking towards his husband.

Lucas' arms were wrapped around Justin, the man gasping, his body rising and falling in Lucas' floating lap.

"Porn stars indeed. Got a video camera?" Josh grinned.

Lance laughed, watching his husband's lost face, knowing the love flowing through him.

Lucas was holding them both afloat, their bodies submerged and joined under the water.

Justin felt the man's possession, the love flooding his soul.

"Oh God, Luke! Have you gained a foot?" he gasped, Lucas' lips meeting his, then moving to his left wet nipple, sucking on it.

Justin trembled, feeling his center explode under the water, the shaft buried in him throbbing, then exploding as well.

He sagged against Lucas, the man's lips meeting his again.

"Wet and beautiful, and amazing." Lucas said, Justin's head against his wet chest.

"Oh man, Lucky. That was amazing." he said, Lucas smiling, slowly pulling out of the man, their bodies still joined together, his arms around his wet soulmate.

"I had a lot to work with. Wet and delicious." he smiled, Justin raising his head.

"I think our men enjoyed the show. But did you have to toss me in?" he said, smiling into Lucas' softly glowing green eyes.

"My magic took over. It hungered for your glowing love." he said, Justin smiling.

"Plays Dada!" Little Justy screamed, Justin smiling widely, looking towards his sons and soulmates.

"Just did, Justy. Now we will." he grinned, Lucas slapping his wet ass under the water.

"Go to your sons, sexy. Send the other two hot ones back here." Lucas smiled, releasing Justin, the young man moving back on his back, floating in the water.

Justin took in the beauty of his naked muscular smoothness.

Justin swam over to the others, Josh and Lance smiling at him.

"Superstud needs you two. I think he's on full throttle today." Justin smiled, both men seeing the contented happiness in his blue eyes.

"Okay, Jus. I love my man wet." Josh smiled, standing up and moving through the water towards his floating man.

Justin smiled at his friend's naked beauty, then at Lance, kissing his lips.

"Join his love, my love. I'll play with the boys." Justin smiled, sitting down where Josh had been sitting, his two sons climbing into his wet lap, little Justy kissing his lips.

"Let's run Dada!" he smiled, Justin smiling at Lance.

Lance smiled, standing up, Justin taking in his naked form, the man swimming towards Josh and Lucas.

"Come on, my boys. The grass is warm, our love needs to run." he smiled, rising with his boys in his arms, the two clapping and grinning.

Justin climbed the stone steps, smiling at the three in the far end of the pool, his husband in the center of Lucas' and Josh's love.

He set his boys down, the two running towards the grassy backyard, Justin pulling on his swim trunks, chasing after them.

Lucas knocked on the door, the door slowly opening, a smiling face meeting his.

"Ooh, tattooed heaven!" Lucas grinned, wrapping his arms around a bikini-covered Adam, raising him in his arms.

Lucas' three soulmates and sons smiled behind him.

Adam's lips met Lucas', the two joined in his love.

Lucas set him down, breaking their kiss.

"Damn, you're full of angel breath and love." he smiled, Adam blushing.

"We were just relaxing in the pool." he said, smiling at everyone.

"Yeah, we did that this morning." Justin beamed, Lance winking at Adam.

"Wetness adds to the love. And you had a chocolate treat and angel dessert today." Lucas smiled, Adam beaming, soft tears showing in his eyes.

"His love is even more unbelievable." Adam said, the four smiling at him.

"Pierce's love was always his true love, Adam. Nothing changes that, its beauty only increases because it's full now of your and Usher's love. Soulmates forever." Lucas smiled, Adam nodding.

"Your love's mixed in there as well, Luke." Adam said, Lucas smiling, scanning his near nude tattooed form.

"And I didn't have to possess you to give you that." he smiled, Adam smiling.

"My loss." he said, Lucas laughing, slapping his bikini-covered ass.

"Love is never lost. It only grows." he smiled, Adam guiding the six into his home, walking them through the kitchen and out onto the patio.

Usher and Pierce waved from the pool, the two swimming towards its edge.

"Ooh, eye candy!" Justin grinned, watching the two climb out of the pool, Lance slapping his husband's shorts-covered ass.

"The boy's a perv." he smiled, Adam laughing.

"Yeah, I remember his lust." he winked at Justin, Justin smirking.

"And I remember your farts, Levine."

Adam laughed, slapping his friend's shoulder.

"Where Noah?" Little Joshy asked in Justin's arms, Adam smiling and kissing the boy's cheek.

"He's sleeping, Joshy. He'll be up shortly." he smiled, pulling a t-shirt over his chest that he'd picked up off a patio chair.

Lucas pouted, Adam laughing.

"Got to keep you longing, Lukey." he winked, Lucas smiling.

"I have enough long things, thank you." he said, his three soulmates smiling at him with love.

"Yeah, I remember all three of them." Adam smiled, winking at Lance.

Lance smiled, sitting down with Justy in his lap, Usher and Pierce walking up the patio steps.

"Pip says Noah's up, Adam. I'll go get him." Usher smiled, a tank top now covering his muscular black chest.

Lucas smiled at Pierce, the man smiling back.

"Love's radar. I always know when my boys are awake as well, Pierce." he smiled, Pierce nodding.
"His love is entrenched within my angelic soul." the man said, Adam's arm going around Pierce's now t-shirt covered chest.

"Sorry for interrupting the love, guys." Lucas smiled, the four sitting down with their friends.

"Love moves always, Luke." Pierce said, Adam kissing his lips.

"Don't I know it. Lucas' ambushed me this morning." Justin said, Lucas winking at him.

"I needed my Timberlake popsicle. Wet and tasty." he said, Justin beaming, Adam and Pierce laughing.

"Yeah wet love is the best." Usher said, walking out of the house, little Noah in his arms, Adam taking him from his husband, the baby rubbing his eyes.

"Noah!" Little Justy said loudly, the baby smiling at him, cuddling against Adam's chest.

"Ay!" he softly said, Usher looking surprised, his arms going around Adam.

"I think he realizes who's here." the black man said, Lucas smiling and rising from his seat, smiling at the infant in Adam's arms, the baby smiling at Lucas.

"He feels our returned love, Ush." he said, kissing the baby's cheek, the baby giggling.

"He's so happy, Luke." Adam smiled, staring into his son's blue eyes.

"He feels all your love and mine. He's a part of me as you all are."
The three fathers smiled, Adam guiding the baby into Lucas' arms.

"We want you to be his godfather, Luke." Usher said, Lucas smiling, rocking the infant.

"Only if you three will be our sons'. I'll give you an offer you can't refuse." Lucas said in a Marlon Brando voice.

Everyone laughed, Lucas smiling at Adam.

"We'd be honored, Luke." Pierce said, now standing at Adam's side with Usher.

"That's Don Lucas to you." Lucas said again in the Godfather voice, everyone laughing.

"I'd be honored as well, guys. Noah is a second son to me." Lucas smiled, the baby cooing in his arms.

Adam smiled, his blue eyes meeting Lucas' violet.

"You've given me so much, Luke. His love, my soulmates' love, a new angel's love." he said, Pierce's arm going around him.

"Your love last night fired my own, my friends. Angel love is intense. I don't think Nick stopped crying last night."

Pierce laughed, Lucas smiling at him.

"Yes, we can be intense. But our love's real." he said, Lucas' hand going to his shoulder.

"As you are, Pierce." he smiled, Pierce nodding.

"Their love is my life, Lucas." he said, Lucas kissing his cheek.

"Lucky bastards."

Everyone laughed, Lucas guiding Noah into Adam's arms again.

"I need to swim, my friends. I sense that pool is love-filled." Lucas smiled, pulling off his t-shirt, the man wearing swim trunks.

Everyone took in his bronzed muscular beauty, the man running off the patio, across the pool area and diving into the pool.

"He's so beautiful." Adam said, Justin kissing his cheek.

"And he's ours, Adam." he smiled, everyone smiling.

"I feel his love, Justin. Within my soul." Adam said, Usher and Pierce smiling at him.

"We all do, guys. Lucas' love just filled your pool." Josh said, kissing Adam's cheek, his shirt coming off.

"Come and feel it, boys. We all love him." the man smiled, everyone nodding, shirts moving off their bodies again.

"Daddy's wuv! Me needs it!" Little Joshy said, Lance smiling, everyone following the two towards the pool.

"My piggy's stuffed." Lance smiled, rubbing Justin's smooth naked chest, the two seated at the poolside table.

"That taco salad was heaven, Adam." he smiled, Adam smiling at him.

"As four plates showed, Jus." Josh said, Lucas smiling at him.

"One of my specialties, Timberlake." he said, Justin smiling.

"You've always been special, Adam. Egotistical, but special." Justin grinned, Adam saluting him with one finger, everyone laughing.

Adam smiled, looking towards a shaded blanket near them, three small souls wrapped in each other's sleeping arms.

"Our boys swam till they tired out. We'll have to try that often." Justin smiled, Lance kissing his cheek.

"Those three have so taken to each other." Usher said, Lucas smiling at him.

"They will be brothers through life, maybe even more." Lucas said, Adam smiling at him.

"Seeing into the future again, Luke?" he said, Lucas smiling at him.

"Seeing the love, Adam." he said, their eyes meeting.

"Yesterday was so surprising, Luke. Amazing, but surprising." Adam said, Pierce's blue eyes meeting his.

"The path needed to focus, my friends. And we all needed to see the hidden love." Lucas said, smiling at Pierce.

"I felt your danger, Luke. I had to aid you. But I sense you knew I would. That's why you asked Gideon and myself to go yesterday." Pierce said, Lucas smiling at him.

"I've felt your real love since the day I met you, Pierce. That's what aided me yesterday. Your and Gideon's love for myself. We always protect those we love." he said, Pierce nodding.

"My soulmate accepts my real self, Lucas. Their love is even more unbelievable." he said, Usher smiling, leaning over and kissing the young doctor's lips.

"Our love is ours, Pip." he smiled, Pierce smiling as Adam kissed him.

"I've lived a long time, walked a long path. I've never felt this deep love before." he said, Adam and Usher staring at him with love, their hands joined.

"Their love is your love, Pierce. He always meant that to be." Lucas said, Pierce smiling.

"His love is so devious and giving." Pierce said, Lucas nodding.

"He guides us on our paths of love. Our combinations of love are our life's reward." Lucas said, his three soulmates smiling at him.

"Damn! I must have a really good soul." Justin smiled, Adam laughing, the others joining him, Justin blushing.

Lucas kissing his lips, Justin's blushing lessening.

"Among a lot of other things." Lucas winked, Justin beaming.

"We've found our soulmates, guys. We've all been blessed with some unbelievable ones." Josh smiled, Lucas smiling his Josh smile at him.

"So what happens next, Luke?" Adam said, Lucas staring at him.

"The world gathers its breath, awaiting the next truth, the final truth." he said, the young man rising and walking to the pool's edge, staring at the water.

Everyone looked at each other, Adam rising from his seat and walking up to Lucas, his hand going to his naked shoulder.

Lucas' head turned, looking into Adam's blue eyes.

"We all feel your love, Luke. What's going on in that giving soul of yours?" he said, Lucas staring at him.

His eyes went back to the pool's calm surface, a soft smile crossing his face.

"My giving soul always gives, Adam. You know the truth of that." he said, their eyes meeting again.

"Is it time?" he said, Lucas smiling, leaning forward and kissing the singer's lips.

"Not yet, but soon. I'll need your strength at the end."
"You have it, Lucas. And my love."
Lucas smiled, his hand going against the singer's smooth tattooed chest.

"I know, Adam." he said, looking at the water again.

"Why do you always stare at the water, Luke?" Adam said, his arm going around him, everyone watching the two men.

"The water calms me, Adam. In its wetness and beauty I find life's answers." Lucas said, turning in Adam's arms, smiling at him, then looking towards the poolside table.

"As you need to find." Lucas smiled, the man moving, Adam's eyes widening, the man screaming as the two hit the water, disappearing under its surface.

Everyone rose from the table, the two men coming to the surface, their lips attached.

Lucas broke the kiss, Adam staring into his violet pools.

"Damn! That angel's love is overpowering." Lucas smiled, Adam laughing.

"I just got dry, Luke!" he said, splashing Lucas with water, Lucas smiling back.

"I love you wet, Levine. Now just to lure the other five in here." Lucas smiled, everyone at the table smiling.

"I love him wet also." Usher smiled, the man running and diving into the pool, Pierce right on his ass.

Josh and Justin smiled, the two men running to the pool's edge, Lance smiling and seeing everyone join in the pool's center.

"I'll watch the kids, you boys play nice. And to the babysitter go the spoils." Lance smiled, picking up the half full bowl of taco salad.

Everyone laughed, Adam smiling at his soulmates, Lucas' arms still around him.

"Can we have our Adam back, Lukey?" Usher smiled, Lucas smiling and looking into Adam's blue pools.

"What if I want to keep him?" Lucas smiled, Adam laughing.

"Ever been tackled by an angel, Luke?" Adam grinned, Pierce wrapping his arms around Lucas, two large white wings now appearing behind him, Lucas laughing, Pierce pulling him out of Adam's arms, the two young men rising out of the pool, Lucas turning in Pierce's now stronger arms, staring into his golden eyes.

"Okay, okay! He's yours!" he laughed, Pierce smiling, hovering about six feet off the pool's surface, everyone staring up at them with wonder.

"Damn right!" he grinned, releasing Lucas, the young man screaming, hitting the water with a large splash about ten feet away from everyone.

Everyone laughed, staring at where Lucas had disappeared.

Pierce flew around the pool's surface, staring into the water.

"Luke?" he said, worry now showing on the angel's face.

Everyone stared at each other with worry, a sudden movement coming out of the water, wrapping around Pierce's neck, the angel taken by surprise, Lucas pulling him down into the water, the two disappearing under it.

A few moments later the two broke the surface, their lips joined, Lucas' arms wrapped around Pierce's human form, everyone looking relieved.

The two broke their kiss, Pierce staring into Lucas' glowing emerald green pools.

"My magic can even bag me an angel. And your lips taste like Levine's." Lucas smiled, Pierce smiling.

"Your strength is amazing, Luke. You are even stronger than Azrael, and he is the strongest of the angelic host. The champion of the angel tribunes."

"My magic is all powerful. So don't mess with the best." Lucas smiled, his hand slapping Pierce's bikini-covered ass.

Pierce nodded, blushing.

"Sorry, Luke. Didn't mean to drop you." he smiled, Lucas kissing his lips again.

"Forgiven, beautiful. And I felt all of your angelic self. I see why Adam and Usher beam."

Pierce blushed, Lucas laughing, Adam's and Usher's arms going around their husband.

Lucas' own two soulmates wrapped their arms around him.

"Lucky bastards." Justin said, everyone laughing.

Lucas smiled, dunking Justin under the water, Josh's lips meeting his.

Justin came up, smiling at the two men.

"I need your love, guys." he said, Lucas smiling at the three floating beside him.

"Go play with your angel, boys. Josh and I have ours."
The three laughed, swimming to the other end of the pool together, Justin feeling his loves surround him.

"Like I said, play nice!" Lance yelled from the blanket with the babies, everyone waving at him, lips meeting.

Lucas smiled, standing at the barbecue, looking around the backyard and pool.

Everyone from the community was here at Josh's home, all invited for supper.

He saw the threesomes of love cuddled together in the pool, Lucas smiling at Pierce and Gideon in the center of their loves.

Angel love must be amazing.

I envy you four.

He smiled, looking at his three soulmates, the three sitting with their friends, laughing and smiling.

But then again, I have my own angelic beasts of love.

Woof, woof. Bow wow.

Lucas laughed to himself, someone walking up beside him.

"What are you laughing at, Luke?" Chris said.

Lucas smiled at him, kissing his cheek.

"Just wondering why the pool doesn't have a whale in it, Orca." he smiled, Chris stepping back, raising his hands.

"Now, Luke!"

Lucas laughed, smiling at his friend.

"Relax, just kidding." he smiled, Chris smiling at him, relaxing a bit.

"Everyone's been wondering about yesterday, Luke. I know you've talked to all of us, explaining everything that happened, but still it's just so unbelievable."
"So the world senses, Chris. So the path was destined."
"You mean it's supposed to go this way?" Chris said, Lucas sighing, smiling at him.

"Into darkness the great shall wander, guided by the world's need. And the path will follow to its end, the light brightening all our souls. And he of the lost life shall flow from the waters of his love. And the world will rejoice at the dawning truth."

Chris looked surprised by Lucas' words, the backyard having fallen into silence, everyone hearing Lucas' rather loud words.

Colton rose from Enrique's lap at a patio table, walking across the patio and up to Lucas and Chris, his blue pools meeting Lucas' violet.

"Those were words written within the magic, Luke. I felt them on my soul just before you spoke them." he said, Lucas' arm going around Colton's near naked body.

"I'm sorry, son. I didn't mean to throw them into the magic. I just heard them somewhere before." he said, everyone staring at the two young men.

"Down in your own darkness, Dad?" he said, Lucas smiling at him.

"Yes, my son. Words spoken to me to calm my soul. I sense I am the one who will walk out of the waters of his love. Whatever that means." he said, Colton nodding.

"You've always been calmed by water, Dad. Maybe that's what it means." he smiled, Lucas smiling at him.

"I'm sure it does, son." he said, looking around at everyone.

"Sorry, everyone. My thoughts kind of came to the surface there, didn't mean to startle all of you." he said, Chris' hand going to his shoulder.

"You carry a lot within your magical soul, Luke. Nothing you can say will ever bother us. We all know you're carrying a lot." he said, Lucas smiling at him, Chris smiling at him.

"Thanks, Orca."

Chris laughed, smiling at him, his face taking on a calm look.

"What did those words mean, Luke? Who spoke them to you?" the man said, Lucas sighing again, turning the meat on the barbecue.

"I'm not sure what they mean. I heard them down in the darkness behind Kurucu's tomb. The one I spoke to said them." he said, Chris nodding.

"It sounds like a prophecy, Luke."
"Perhaps, Chris. Only time will show that answer." he smiled, Chris nodding.

"We'll all be at your side to find those answers." he smiled, Lucas smiling at him.

"Thanks, Orca. We'll make sure there's a lake nearby so you can join us."

Everyone laughed, Chris smiling.
"Good one,  Joshy's bitch."

Lucas laughed, Colton staring at him.

"I'm alright, son. My thoughts are just running around and entering places they shouldn't. I'll try to keep my soul calm."

Colton smiled, kissing his friend's cheek.

"My love's here, Dad."

Chris smiled, his arm going around Lucas, winking at Colton.

"Mine is too, Luke." Chris grinned, Lucas' eyes widening when Chris picked him up, the man staggering towards the pool, Colton laughing.

"Points for trying, Chris." he laughed, Lucas screaming as Chris threw him into the pool.

Chris was bursting with laughter, others laughing as well, Lucas coming to the surface, staring at Chris.

"There's the calmness you needed, Luke. Water all around you." Chris laughed.

Colton smiled, walking up to Josh and Justin, who'd risen from their seats.

"He's so going to get it." the young man smiled, wrapping his arms around Justin's naked chest, the man smiling at him.

Lucas stared at Chris, the young man bursting into laughter, Chris grinning.

"Thanks, Chris. Needed that." he smiled, floating in the water.

"Anytime, Lukey. I'll toss you in any day." he grinned.

Lucas smiled, his eyes suddenly glowing green.

"Payback is a bitch, Orca. Your blubber looks like it's drying out." Lucas smiled, the man's hands moving.
Chris' eyes widened in disbelief, the man turning to run, all the water moving out of the pool, landing on top of his running form.

The man screamed, the water's now icy coldness hitting him.

The man stood, drenched and shivering.

Lucas smiled, meeting Piney's blue pools.

"Your whale of love needs some warmth, Piney." he smiled, Lucas standing on the bottom of the pool, the water around him beginning to rise again, the pool filling up again.

Lucas floated to the surface again, swimming to the pool's edge, climbing out of it.

Piney was at Chris' side, his arm going around his wetness.

"You're shivering, my love. And you feel so cold." he said, Lucas smiling and walking up to both of them.

"The magic turned the water ice cold. As retribution for your stunt, Orca." Lucas smiled, leaning forward and kissing Chris' cheek.

The moment he kissed him a warmth flooded him, Piney stepping back, his eyes widening.

"You're completely dry, my love!" he said, staring at Lucas who was now dry as well.

Lucas smiled, Chris' wide eyes meeting his.

"I had to pay you back, Chris. The magic sensed that. But it sensed you deserve a reward for being so fast." Lucas smiled, Chris smiling.

"Sorry, Luke." he smiled, Lucas laughing, hugging his friend.

"Don't ever change, Chris. And kudos for being fast on the joke."

Chris smiled, patting the man's back.

"Thanks, Luke. Now get back to cooking us dinner, biatch."

Lucas laughed, releasing the man, Piney smiling at him.

"You have a real winner here, Piney. Blubber and all."

Everyone laughed, Lucas going back to the barbecue.

Piney stared after him, his arm going around Chris again.

"He's so amazing." he said, Chris smiling and kissing his husband's lips.

"He's my friend. And I'll never stop trying to one-up him."

Piney smiled, the two walking back to everyone, Chris smiling widely.

Everyone smiled, hearing the giggles and cooing coming from the playpen at the end of the patio, Trish standing over it, smiling down at their treasures.

"They're all so happy together." she said, Andrew's arm going around her, the two kissing.

"Finish your coffee, my love. I'll watch them." Andrew said, Trish smiling and walking back to her table, everyone smiling at the young man kneeling beside the playpen, making faces at the babies laying within.

"They are joined in their brotherly and sisterly love for each other. They're fed, loved and happy." Lucas smiled, walking around and refilling coffee mugs, the late dinner over.

Everyone smiled, Jeremy kissing Zac's lips.

"We'll have to add to the love one day, my loves." he said, Lucas smiling at him, refilling his empty coffee mug.

"Your magic's not that powerful, Jeremy. But mine will always give a hand. That Zac looks so tappable." Lucas said, Zac blushing, Bruno laughing.

"Indeed, Luke." he smiled, their lips meeting.

"That doesn't mean you have to start right now!" Finn yelled, laughing, Alain high-fiving him.

Bruno and Zac both blushed, Jeremy smiling at them with love.

"Ignore the peanut gallery, guys. They have to beg for their love."

Skyler and Harry laughed, their soulmates blushing, their lips of love meeting theirs.

"Beg away, my angel." Harry said, Alain smiling at him, snuggling against him.
Finn smiled, hugging his own love.

Jeremy smiled up into Lucas' violet pools, the young man smiling at him.

"We've seen Adam's, Usher's and Pierce's happiness with Noah, Luke. We'd welcome the intrusion of your love if that's the reward. His smile is so beautiful." Jeremy said, looking towards little Noah in the playpen, the baby smiling at him.

Lucas smiled, patting the young man's shoulder.

"My love moves everywhere. And no, Chris isn't pregnant now. That's just his blubbery self." Lucas smiled, Chris blushing, everyone laughing, the man laying in a lounger chair on the patio, Piney snuggled beside him.

"His love is magical, Luke. Just not that magical." Piney smiled, kissing his man's embarrassment away.

"Indeed, Piney." Lucas smiled, his eyes meeting Zac's blue pools.

"The three of you would make excellent fathers. That happiness comes on its own, but I'll help any way I can." Lucas smiled, sitting down beside his husband, Josh's arm going around him, the coffee carafe on the table now.

"You know we'll have children?" Bruno said, Lucas smiling at him.

"You three have too much love to give. It needs to be shared with your own angel." he smiled, the three smiling.

"I'd love to have a little Jeremy or a little Bruno." Zac smiled, his husbands smiling at him.

"A blue-eyed Zacky will fill our hearts with love." Jeremy smiled, his lips meeting Zac's.

"Make that a Zacarina." Lucas smiled, the three looking at him with surprise.

"You mean. . .you know we'll have a girl?" Bruno said, looking shocked.

"My magic flows through all paths, my friends. I see all the joy ahead, and behind." Lucas smiled, Josh kissing his cheek.

The three young men stared at him with awe, looking at each other, Lucas smiling at all three.

"Trust in the path of love you're on to guide you to all your happiness. The future holds a lot of happiness for all of us." Lucas smiled, everyone smiling at him.

"I'm game for all that happiness." Zac smiled, his husbands smiling at him.

"You're amazing, my love." Josh said, Lucas smiling his secret smile at him.

"Later beautiful. Once we get rid of the moochers." he smiled, everyone laughing.

Rosa Sharon rose from her seat beside Colton, Colton smiling at his sister.

The young girl climbed into Lucas' lap, the young man smiling down into her blue eyes.

"I see you have your Justin shirt on. Still idolize him, don't you?" he smiled, Rosa Sharon smiling at Justin.

"He's my brother now. Our love is ours." she smiled, Justin winking at her.

"Bro for life, Rosy." he smiled, she smiling widely, staring up into Lucas' violet pools.

"I feel it, Dad. You can't hide it behind your thoughts. We all feel it simmering." she said, Lucas staring at her, Colton staring at her as well.
"Feel what, Rosy?" he said, Rosa Sharon smiling at him.

"The greater magic, Colt. The magic that's hidden. The magic of the Star Child. I just sensed it last night. On its voyages of need." she smiled, leaning up and kissing Lucas' lips.

"It's amazing, Dad. The depth of its love and power. Why are you scared?" she said, Josh looking at Lucas, his arm going around him.

"What's going on, my love?" he said, Lucas' eyes moving to him, then back to Rosa Sharon.

"No one was supposed to feel it, little one." he said, she smiling and kissing his cheek.

The little girl rose from his lap, walking to the patio's edge, staring at the pool.

"We never knew, Lucas. We never knew it was hidden there, in the darkness of all lives. Its glow is immense, and so filled with love."

Lucas rose from his seat, walking up to her, his hand going to her shoulder, the girl staring up at him.

Colton rose from his seat, his soulmates staring at him, the young man walking up to his sister and Lucas.

"I don't feel anything new within the magic, Rosy." he said, Rosa Sharon smiling at him.

"You wouldn't feel it, Colt. It's not of your magic. But it's so beautiful. It always was." she said, Lucas looking down at her.

"You weren't supposed to feel it, Rosy. You're not from there." he said, she smiling.

"Part of me is, Lucas." she said, the little girl beginning to change, a taller woman now showing, her blue eyes staring at Lucas.

Three others rose from their seats, Meresankh's eyes meeting theirs.

"Yes, my brothers. I sense you feel it now as well. Behind the faith, behind the magic." she said, Pierce, Gideon and Alain staring at her.

"It cannot be!" Alain said, Lucas staring at him.

"I'm sorry, Jibril. This is my trek alone. I shall do what was asked of me. And now I have to retrieve it." the young man said, moving from the patio, walking down to the pool's edge, staring at the now lit water, the edge of night descending on the backyard.

Everyone stared at the three standing men, their forms changing, black and white wings showing behind them, their muscular large physiques moving, walking up to Meresankh, the young woman now showing a golden glow and two large white wings.

"He has gone to greatness, my brethren. He is walking beyond redemption." she said, everyone seeing tears now showing in her eyes.

Everyone rose, staring at the four angels.

"Lucas? What's going on?" Josh said, he and his soulmates moving, the four angels stopping them from walking off the patio.

"You need to remain here. No one can stop him now, Joshua." Pierce said, Josh staring up into his now golden eyes.

"What's going on, guys? What's wrong with my Lucas?" he said, worry showing on his face, Justin and Lance's arms wrapped around him, all three staring at their soulmate.

Meresankh's blue eyes looked towards Lucas.

"God has given him a great task, Joshua. Even we of his divinity haven't walked that path. Only a soul blessed with His pure unbridled love could ever venture there." she said, a look of awe showing in her blue pools.

"I never knew, I never sensed it. It is the loving guidance of God." she said, the woman's eyes meeting Lucas' emerald green eyes, everyone now standing and staring at him standing at the pool's edge, seeing a soft golden glow surrounding him.

"I shall return, my family. This was always my task." he said, Josh seeing a tear running down Lucas' cheek.

"I love you, my love." Josh said, Justin and Lance voicing the same words, Lucas smiling at all three, and the four angels surrounding them.

"Our love is unending. I carry it with me always. And the path is mine alone. I shall return." he smiled, the pool now filled with a white shining brightness, a golden strip in its center.

Lucas smiled, walking into the golden light, disappearing.

The light disappeared in an instant, the pool empty and calm.

Everyone's eyes moved to Rosa Sharon's blue pools, seeing tears showing, the young girl back to her own self.

"He has crossed into the unknown. And his love is God's love." she smiled, Josh walking up to the little girl, she smiling up at him.

"Where has he gone, Rosy?" Josh said, the man feeling a hand go his shoulder, turning and staring into Alain's now golden pools.

"He has walked onto a path no angel has ever walked, Josh." Alain said, Josh seeing tears now in his eyes.

He stared at Pierce and Gideon, their soulmates and Harry surrounding all three now, their angelic wings now gone.

"Where has he gone, Alain?" Josh asked, Alain sighing, looking at Rosa Sharon.

"He has gone to Hell, Josh. Lucas has walked into evil's center."*

End of Chapter 229

Did you all miss me?
I have returned.

Sorry for the delay in continuing this story.

Life moved on a lazy path for me the last few months.

I needed a breather to collect my thoughts.

Hopefully I can start a regular routine with this again.

Has Lucas really walked into Hell?
What has he gone there in search of?
And what is the magic that the angels now sense?

Back with questions already.
Lol.

Hugs, Angel.
