Chapter 238

The Opening Path

Lucas smiled, walking into the dining room, many smiling faces meeting his smiling warmth.

"You're late, my love." Josh said, rising from his seat, little Justy in his arms, the boy smiling at his father, everyone else rising from their seats, Lucas smiling around at everyone.

"Daddy!" The little boy said in Josh's arms, Lucas kissing his cheek as he walked up to the table.

"Hello, my son. I see your happiness flows through our mothers' deliciousness." Lucas smiled, half a pancake in his son's small hand.

Savannah smiled at her son, walking out of the kitchen, other mothers following with platters of food.

"My grandsons need nourishment to begin their day." she smiled, setting a platter of bacon down in front of Josh, her arms going around her son, she smiled at her grandsons, Joshy in Justin's lap.

"Good morning, Mom." Lucas smiled, hugging her close, the woman kissing his cheek.

"Your smile fills your Mom's heart." she said, Lucas smiling, Tristan smiling at his son.

"My family's love fills mine. Good morning everyone. Please return to your seats." Lucas said, everyone nodding and smiling at him, three tables filled with everyone.

"Sit, my son. Nourishment you need most of all today." Savannah said, Lucas seeing the protective love in his mother's violet eyes.

"I have your love, everyone. The day begins with that." he smiled, he and Josh sitting down at the table, Emerson smiling at his grandson, patting his hand beside him.

"We all have yours, my grandson." he said, Lucas smiling, kissing his cheek.

"I am so lucky." he smiled, everyone softly smiling at him, the mothers wandering around the room, setting down platters, returning to their own seats.

Lucas felt the love and underlying wonder and concern filling the room.

"If you'll allow me, I'd like to say grace." Lucas said, his grandfather smiling at him.

"Your words have the richness of love, Lucas. We all need that today." he said, Lucas smiling and rising to his feet.

Everyone lowered their heads, Lucas looking around at his family.

"Bless us this day, our Lord and Savior. We gather under your love, awash in its giving life. Bless all of us that stand united under love and faith, under life and happiness. Today finds us all at the final path's beginning. Let us walk forward with your love, with the love surrounding us. We await your showing love. We gather under its greatness. I stand today surrounded by my family, each a part of my soul. We are all a part of each other's soul. A family united under my love. Today the greatest gift has been given to my soul. The love surrounding me. I feel that love's concerns, hopes and protective need. Let us walk together into your love. Your love protects all of us on this day of change. My love is yours. Amen." Lucas said, the young man sitting down again, everyone raising their heads, a lot of eyes showing deep love and tearful wonder.

"Your words soothe all hearts on this momentous day, my grandson." Emerson said, wiping his eyes with a handkerchief, Lucas smiling at him.

"Let us gather the energy of our souls in the deliciousness created by our family's love." he said, Savannah smiling at him, leaning over the table and patting his hand.
"We've all created your favorites. Eat, my son." she smiled, Lucas smiling, filling his plate with the breakfast fare in front of him, his son in Josh's lap licking his lips.

"Me's hungy, Daddy!" Little Justy said, Lucas laughing, handing his son a sausage, the boy clasping it in his hands.

"Eat your fill, my son. Your fathers will run it off you this morning." he said, everyone smiling, filling their plates, the room bathed in a quiet, loving silence.

Finn's blue pools met Lucas' violet, the two friends smiling at each other.

"Where did you disappear to, Lukey? We were surprised when we didn't find you here first. We were all anticipating one of your delicious breakies." he said, Lucas smiling at him.

"I had to organize a few things, moocher." he said, Sky laughing, Finn blushing.

"We all love your nourishing love, Luke." he said, Lucas nodding his head, smiling at his friends.

"Don't worry. Our mothers' nourishing love is just as delicious." he said, Finn nodding, his own mother smiling at him.

"Always was, always will be." he said, Momma Mavis smiling, adding sausages to her son's plate, her grandson in her arms awaiting his own mother's nourishing love, Diana in her mother's arms, feeding off her love.

Lucas smiled, his father staring at him, quietly eating.

"The day is now upon us, my son." he said, Lucas seeing the love and concern in his green pools.

"Yes, it is Father. The ending of the destined path. I feel all your concerned love." he said, his father nodding.

"We love you, Lucas. We are all concerned and protective of your love. And we're all a bit awed by what we sense we'll witness today. "

Lucas smiled, looking around the room, all eyes focused on him.

His eyes met his father's again, the man staring at him with love.

"You will only witness my love, and yes, His. I will guide you all to that happiness." he said, everyone smiling at him.

"Your love guides all of us through life, Luke." Adam said, seated with his soulmates at Lucas' table at the far end.

Lucas smiled at the singer, the man smiling back.

"Prepare for a roller coaster ride today, my family. Life is going to be amazing. In some surprising ways." he smiled, everyone looking at each other.

"I feel God surrounding us, Lucas." Lewis said, Lucas nodding his head, seeing Cardinal Santiago at Lewis' side.

"He's close, Uncle Lewis. Our hearts will all see that. Right now I need to gain some energy. It's going to be a long, surprising day." Lucas smiled, diving into his breakfast, everyone looking at him with love.

The young man smiled, breakfast continuing around him in quiet silence.

An hour and a half later Lucas walked into the Receiving Room, his soulmates surrounding him, his sons walking ahead of them.

Randall and Henderson smiled, the two boys running into their kneeling arms.

"We's goes outside, Grampa! Me's run!" Little Joshy said, the man smiling and standing up, his grandson talking a mile a minute in his arms.

Lucas smiled, seeing everyone seated around the room, relaxing after breakfast.

Hudson rose from his seat by the fireplace, Haven releasing his arms from around him.

Lucas smiled, walking up to the young man.

"How finds your soul of love this morning, my cousin?" he said, Hudson suddenly embracing him tightly, Lucas smiling and patting his back.

"It's filled with his love, Lucas. Thank you so much for that." he said, the two breaking their embrace.

Hudson's head moved behind him, staring at Haven's smiling face, his eyes meeting Lucas' violet pools again.

"Last night was unbelievable." he said, Lucas kissing his cheek.

"An angel's love can be intense, your own new love just as moving. You both kept me awake for hours." Lucas smiled, Hudson blushing, Haven's arms now going around him again, the man having risen from his seat.

"Our hearts are one, Lucas. Our love is one. We both have you to thank for that." he smiled, Lucas kissing his cheek.

"That's all I wanted for both of you, Uncle. My best work yet." he smiled, the two men smiling widely.

Hudson's hand went to Lucas' shoulder.

"His love, it's. . .it's so. . .I love him so much!" he said, Lucas nodding, patting his hand.

"Life begins for both of you, my cousin. Love continues." he said, the young man smiling, moving and walking over to Felix and Sheila, little Sarah in her arms.

"Don't hog the love, let me hold my new goddaughter." Lucas smiled, Sheila guiding her into Lucas' arms, the young man smiling, everyone watching him.

"Hello, little angel of love. The morning lights upon your smile, Your life will always be happy with the surrounding love. We'll love you forever." he smiled, little Joshy moving off Randall's lap, running up to his father.

"Me loves her, Daddy." he said, Lucas smiling and going to his knees, the boy kissing the baby's cheek.

"I know, my son. She feels your love." he smiled, Joshy giggling, kissing the baby's cheek again.

"Life be so good!" he smiled, running back to his father, Justin picking him up.

Lucas smiled, standing again, guiding Sarah back into Sheila's arms.

"I think your daughter's found a lifelong playmate in my son. They'll all be friends under our community of love." he said, Felix and Sheila smiling.

Lucas smiled, looking at his soulmates and his family surrounding him.

"I feel all of your love, everyone. Let's talk about what's coming today." he said, walking back to Hudson and Haven, the young reporter staring at him.

"My cameras are ready, Luke. I'll record everything." he said, Lucas smiling, patting his arm.

"Your media setup will widen, my friend." Lucas smiled, the young reporter looking at him with confusion, staring into his violet pools.

"Meaning what, Luke?" he said, Lucas smiling and patting his shoulder.

"Your video feed will surround the world. My magic will see to that." he smiled, walking towards the fireplace.

"Please sit down, my family." Lucas said, everyone returning to their seats, little Joshy climbing up into Justin's lap, little Justy already in Lance's.

Lucas smiled around at everyone, his eyes meeting Hudson's again.

"How is the world's yearning this morning, my cousin?" he said, Hudson seated beside Haven on a couch.

"The networks are on full steam, Luke. Speculation is riding high. This estate is surrounded by the world's need. The world waits with bated breath." he said, Lucas smiling at him.

"Yes, the world awaits the coming truth." he said, more to himself, looking up at his father's portrait.

"Truth has a way of showing some surprising things. On many levels, many times." he softly said, again more to himself than those surrounding him.

Everyone heard his soft words, Tristan rising from his seat, walking up to his son, his arm going around him.

"Meaning what, my son?" he said, Lucas smiling at him.

"Just talking to myself, Dad." he said, his father nodding.

"You have a lot to think upon, my son. We fault you not for yourself or your thoughts." he said, Lucas smiling and kissing his cheek.

"Return to Mom, Dad. She misses your loving self."

Tristan smiled, returning to his wife, her arms going around him.

Lucas sighed, looking around the room.

Everyone heard the front doorbell ring, Jefferson rising to his feet, walking towards the open doorway.

"Show them in here, Jefferson." Lucas said, Jefferson nodding and walking out of the room.

"Who's here, my son? Everyone you know is here." Tristan said, Lucas smiling at him.

"The world needs life, Dad." The young man said, Jefferson returning to the room, two men and a woman walking in behind him.

Everyone looked surprised, Lucas smiling at the three arrivals.

"You're late, my friends." he said, Hudson rising from his seat, staring at the two men, Lucas' eyes meeting his.

"I sensed you needed some help, my cousin." Lucas said, Hudson staring at Anderson Cooper and Jake Tapper, the two newscasters staring at Lucas, Natalie Diamond standing beside Jake, her hand in his.

"Sorry we're late, Lucas. Getting through the front gate was time consuming, even though we've been here since yesterday." Anderson said, shaking the young man's hand, Hudson staring at him and Jake, Jake now shaking Lucas' hand.

"My friends, this is my cousin Hudson Carlisle. He's the Papal newspapers' exceptional reporter."
"You arrange everything, Lucas." Jake said, staring at the young man, Hudson shaking Anderson's then his hand.

"I don't arrange love and happiness, Jake. But I guide it to its real path." he said, smiling at the journalist, Natalie smiling at Lucas.

"You know, don't you?" she said, Lucas smiling.

"Congratulations to you both. I see the love's found its truth." he smiled, Jake smiling, Natalie shaking her head in awe.

"Thank you, Lucas. Our love's true." she said, raising her hand, Lucas smiling at the diamond ring showing on her finger.

"A diamond for the diamond of his soul." he smiled, Jake smiling at him.

"I asked her yesterday, before the world's new life comes." he smiled, Anderson smirking.

"I'm going to be his best man." he smiled, Lucas smiling, everyone around them looking at Lucas.

"Your love flows as always, my love." Josh said, Lucas smiling at his husband.

"Always, my love." he smiled, the young man hugging Natalie, she kissed his cheek.

"You're unbelievable, Lucas." she said, Lucas blushing.

"His love is that, Natalie. That's all you'll need." Lucas said, looking at Jake.

"Why are these famous reporters here, Luke?" Hudson said, Lucas smiling at his cousin.

"You need some help, Hudson. Even you won't be able to take in all the truth. They'll help you." he smiled, the two journalists looking at the younger man.

"We're honored, Lucas." Anderson said, Lucas smiling at him.

"Hold onto your socks, my friends. Please sit down everyone." he said, Hudson offered the three new visitors a seat with him and Haven.

The three smiled at him, everyone going to their seats.

Lucas smiled, looking around the room.

"Everyone's now here. Fill our new friends in on the surrounding love, Hudson. I'll return in a moment." Lucas smiled, Hudson nodding, Josh rising from his seat, his arms around Lucas in a moment.

"Where are you off to, my love?" he said, looking up into Lucas' violet pools.

"Just seeing to the readiness of the path, my love." he said, his lips meeting Josh's, Josh feeling his total love.

"Hurry back, my love." he said, Lucas smiling.

"Your love goes with me, my sexy boybander."
Josh smiled, releasing his hold on his man.

Lucas smiled, the young man disappearing before him.

Everyone looked stunned, all rising to their feet.

"He. . .he. . .he's vanished!" Anderson said, Jake staring in awed silence, his arm around Natalie.

"Dad's being himself." Colton said, Enrique's arm around him, the young man surrounded by his soulmates.

"You knew it wasn't his true self, Colt?" Josh said, the young man smiling and walking up to him, Josh's arms going around him.

"Yes, Papa. I sensed it since he walked into the dining room this morning. I think his magic's now on totally. He can move unhindered as his new self."
"Since this morning?" Finn said, staring at the young man with surprise.

"Yes, Finny. Dad's been gone on a voyage since late last night." The young man said, Josh staring into his blue eyes.

"Since last night?" he said, Colton smiling at him.

"Yes, Papa. I felt him walking around the whole house early this morning, I sense he was sensing the joining love. I think he needed that, to do what he's doing now."
"What's he doing, Colt?" Lance said, he and Justin now at their sides.

The young man smiled, looking upwards, then around.

"He's readying the love, Lance. I sense he's formulated the last path of this. I sense a lot now flowing through this house." Colton said, Jonathan's arms going around him.

"Do you feel evil?" he said, Colton kissing his lips.

"I feel evil deep within this house. But I feel the greater love readying itself, and the intense magic surrounding us." he said, his soulmates staring at him with love.

"I think we should relax. Dad will be back when he's ready." The young man smiled, guiding his soulmates back to their couch, everyone staring at the young man, Colton smiling at everyone.

"Let's sit down again, everyone. I think Colton's right." Lance said, everyone returning to their seats, Hudson smiling at Anderson and Jake.

"Let's fill you in on what's happened here the last few days." Hudson said, the two reporters nodding, the young man beginning to quietly talk.

Fifteen minutes later the two men and Natalie were staring around at the eight surrounding angels and their truths.

"This is so unbelievable! You're all so unbelievable!" Jake said, his hand in Natalie's.

"We're as God made us, Jake." Alain said, smiling at his brethren, the eight having shown the reporters their true selves, now back to their human forms.

"Lucas has drawn all of you out except the mysterious Azrael." Anderson said, looking with awe at the angels surrounding him.

"Lucas' love drew us to show ourselves. His love is God's love." Cardinal Santiago said, the two men staring at the hidden angel.

"You're all surprising us." Jake said, the cardinal smiling at him.

"God's love surprises all of us." he said, Colton smiling and looking around the room.

"Azrael will show himself today of that I have no doubt. Lucas' love draws all onto the true path." The young man said, rising from his seat and walking up to the fireplace, staring upwards.

"Love comes in all forms. I'm ready." he said, smiling widely.

"All are ready, my son."

Everyone turned towards the doorway, Lucas walking into the room.

Josh looked with surprise, the young man looking unbelievably calm and relaxed, his blond hair cascading down his shoulders, seemingly a lot longer.

He now wore a white silk shirt, white pants and a white blazer.

Lucas smiled, walking up to his soulmates, Joshy and Justy in Lance's and Justin's arms, all three men now on their feet, everyone else rising as well.

"You look amazing, my love. My white angel." Josh smiled, Lucas wrapping his arms around him, kissing his lips.

"You always love me in white, babe." he smiled, Josh smiling at him.

"Is this the real you, my love?" Josh said, hearing giggling behind him.

"Daddy really back!" Joshy said, Lucas smiling at him.

"Yes, my son. And he's happy." he smiled, kissing both his sons' cheeks, then Justin's and Lance's lips.

His arms went around Josh, the man staring at him, Lucas kissing him softly again as well.

"What's going on, my love? It wasn't the real you here this morning?" he said, Lucas smiling at him.

"Sorry, my love. Had some stuff to deal with and I knew my family still needed my love." he smiled, looking around at everyone, everyone staring at him with awed wonder.

"You walk on God's path, Lucas. We are awed by your shining, changing magic. And you wear white as a sign of your divinity. I truly believe we will see God's path today." Lewis said, Lucas smiling at him.

"My magic is ready, faithful servant of His love." he smiled, looking around at everyone.

"Please sit down, everyone. His path, as Lewis says, begins." he smiled, walking up to the fireplace, Colton's arms going around him, Lucas kissing his cheek.

"I felt your roaming love, Dad." he said, Lucas smiling at him.

"The love surrounding me woke me early. The newness of some of it stirred my soul. I had to calm the surrounding hidden masses, they felt it as well." he said, Colton smiling at him, the young man's blue pools meeting Hudson's grey pools.

"Yes, I felt their new love too. It is spectacular. I envy you his true self, Haven." Colton smiled, Hudson blushing, Haven smiling widely.

"I'm greatly blessed." he smiled, Hudson smiling at him.

"We all are, Uncle." Lucas smiled, looking around at everyone.

"I have spent the last two years guiding souls to their true needs. I now see before me the joined love of all of you."
Everyone smiled, their arms going around their soulmates, all looking at each other.

"We all have thanked you for that, Luke." Enrique said, Lucas nodding.

"Yes, you all have. It was an easy thing to do. For I felt in all of you your deepest needs. Love. You all now have that."

Everyone smiled, Anderson Cooper smiling at Lucas.

"You seem to be a matchmaker extraordinaire." he smiled, Lucas smiling at him.

"Don't worry, I haven't forgotten you." he smiled, Anderson blushing.

"I'm happy with my life, Lucas." The anchorman smiled, Lucas smiling.

"Life can only get better. As it's about to." Lucas said, the room suddenly shaking and rumbling, as if a large sigh had flown through the house.

Everyone was on their feet, looking around.

"Good God! What was that?!" Lewis said, Lucas' violet pools meeting his blue.

"The breath of God, Good Reverend. The path has opened. Come my brethren, my family. We walk the final path."
Everyone stared at Lucas, the young man smiling.

"Do not fear life, do not tremble upon the moment. It begins with my love."

Everyone stared at Lucas, the young man's hands moving, going to his neck.

He removed the stone from around his neck, Colton staring at him.

"I give this to you, my son. Hold onto it with your love." he said, handing the red stone to Colton.

"That. . .that is the conduit of your magic, Luke." he said, Lucas smiling at him.

"I have all the magic I need within myself, my son. This is a symbol of their love. They'll need it soon." he smiled, his hand going into his pocket, pulling out his pocket watch, it dangling from its golden chain.

"Here, Lance. You hold onto this for me. I won't need it down there. Time will show many truths. I think you'll know when to show yours." he said, handing Lance the watch, Lance nodding, his face showing confusion, but the man taking the watch.

Adam's eyes met Lance's, the singer now looking at Lucas.

"Alright, Lucky. I'll give it back to you this evening after this is done."
Lucas smiled, his eyes meeting Justin's blue.

"I have the gift of my love for you, cutie. You always carry it." he said, Justin pulling him close, their lips meeting.

"Please be careful, my love. We all need you here with us." he said, his eyes showing tears.

"I'm always with you, my sexy angel." he said, Justin smiling.

Josh's arms went around Lucas when Justin took little Justy out of his arms, the two men kissing deeply, Josh feeling his deep love.

"Here at the end of this, I'm suddenly scared, my love." he said, Lucas kissing his lips again.

"My love is yours forever, my love. I'm always with you. Time will never end for us." he said, Josh nodding.

"I need you, my love. You are my life."
"As I am yours, Joshua. My Joshua. As beautiful as the day I first looked into your blue pools of love. You'll always be that beautiful, your love always mine."

People teared up, hearing the deep love coming from Lucas' soul.
"As yours is mine, Lucas." Josh said, Lucas smiling his Josh smile.

"I think the Schmaltz Police will be following us."

Josh laughed, Lucas' humor cutting through the emotional moment.

"God, I love you!" he said, Lucas smiling, their lips meeting again.
The two broke their kiss, staring into each other's eyes.

"See you on the flip side, babe."

Josh smiled, nodding, releasing the young man's muscular form, Lucas smiling around at everyone.

"Let's go, everyone. The path begins." he said, his hand going into Josh's, the two men walking out of the room, everyone joining their soulmates, quietly following.

The Path's Opening

Hudson looked through his video camera's lens, the room before him capturing his undivided attention.

The two reporters at his sides staring as well, taking in its silent truth.

His camera spanned the walls, taking in each painting, watching each move as his lens moved.

"They're moving! Their eyes are moving!" Anderson said, looking with awe at each painting of Lucas' ancestors.

"The ten of worth, my ancestors going back to Alsarius, the first image of life." Lucas said, the young man now standing beside the altar, three empty domed glasses before him.

Emerson stared at his grandson, never having heard him call Alsarius that name before.

"The first image of life, Lucas?" he said, Lucas nodding.

"Yes, Grandfather. For he was the start of our path of discoveries. The creator of my family's path. The first of the ten of worth, my own father being the last. You the second last, Grandfather."
Emerson nodded, staring at his son.

"Each son upon that path gained greater love from each father behind him. My father holding the greatest love, for he has all the other nine." Lucas said, Tristan nodding at him.

"Yes, Lucas. I gained much from my own father and the path behind him." he said, Emerson smiling at his son with deep love.

"As I gained from my forefathers, Lucas." he said, Lucas nodding.

"Such as it was always destined to be. For that is the second path we must walk at the end of this. The truer path of love." he said, Emerson and Tristan exchanging glances.

"The second path, Lucas?" Emerson said, Lucas smiling, looking around at everyone.

"On to the first path. It begins." he said, his hand raising, the golden ring on his finger suddenly glowing, a soft tremble going through the floor under everyone.

"The light of God's truth now shines in all your apparatus of viewing reality, my cousin. The world now sees through your lens, Hudson. Our voices, our images, our truths all will see." he said, Anderson looking at him with surprise.

A sudden vibration was going off in his pocket, the man bringing out his cellphone, moving back and quietly talking into it.

Lucas stared around at everyone, Hudson staring at him.

"What do you mean, Lucas?" he said his camera focused on the young man.

Anderson closed his cellphone, staring at Jake and Hudson.

"That was our video truck outside. All the feeds on all the stations are filled with your camera's images, Hudson. All networks--even non news ones--have been taken over by a single video feed. Lucas is right. Everyone is now seeing your feed. We're. . .we're broadcasting live around the world!" Anderson said, staring at Lucas with shock.

"God is alive around this great earth. See the dawning of his true light." Lucas said, the young man's hand moving, his ring now touching the marble altar's surface.

The altar began to move, its marble slab separating, moving apart, the stairs now coming into view.

Everyone stood in quiet shock, seeing the altar disappear before them, a hidden flight of downward stone steps now showing.

"Love follows us, as it awaits us forward. Let us walk into the darkness to find His light." Lucas smiled, Josh's hand tightening in his, the two walking forward, walking downwards into the darkness, Lance and Justin following, their boys in their arms.

The rest moved forward, Hudson's eyes meeting Anderson's, behind his camera.

"This is unbelievable." Anderson said, Jake's hand going to his shoulder.

"I think it's only the start, my friend. Let's follow him."
Hudson nodded, he and Haven moving towards the steps, his camera focusing ahead.

Anderson, Jake and Natalie followed, everyone descending into the encroaching darkness.

Josh's eyes focused in the darkness, the man walking with his soulmate, the darkness giving way to a soft grey gloom, the man finding them in a long dark tunnel, nothing showing on its stone walls.

"It's so gloomy down here, my love." he said, Lucas' lips kissing his cheek.

"Our love gleams in all darkness my love. And I feel our HD's hands on my ass. We're safe." he smiled, Justin and Lance smiling behind him.

"I'll follow that hot tush anywhere." Justin said, Josh chucking, hearing everyone following behind, their footsteps echoing with loudness.

"You need to be discreet, babe. The world's watching now." Lance said, Lucas smirking, Justin blushing.

Lucas felt Justin's hands leave his ass, his hand now joining with Lance's again.

Lance and Justin both held their sons, the boys cuddled against them.

"Me feels Daddy's wuv, we's safe." Little Joshy said, little Justy giggling.

Lucas smiled back at his sons, both smiling in the semi-darkness.

Everyone walked forward, the darkness beginning to disappear, a soft glow ahead of them.

They walked out of the long tunnel, Lucas standing before them, his soulmates surrounding him.

Everyone filed in behind them, Hudson's camera scanning the large area before them.

"Good God! Such treasures!" Cardinal Santiago said, staring at the troughs filled with golden gleaming visions.

Everyone stared at the eight stone pathways, the spokes of stone meeting in the center, a large throne on its center slab of marble, a golden sarcophagus behind it.

"It's as you said it was, Luke! It's so unbelievable!" Finn said, Skyler's hand in his, their children in their arms.

Lucas smiled back at his friends, the young man looking around.

"Do not touch anything. Evil holds its treasures close. The wonders of God's weapons are trapped within its grasp." Lucas said, the young man moving forward, Josh at his side, his soulmates and sons following.

Everyone moved, staring down into the troughs, seeing unimaginable things of gold beauty and religious heritage.

The clergy crossed themselves, walking slowly forward, Randall saying a soft prayer.

They all crossed the stone path, walking up to the throne, Lucas standing in front of it.

Hudson's camera was now trained upon him, taking in the passing moments.

He had sensed in his heart that he couldn't look into the troughs, their treasure not for the world's eyes.

"The seat of evil, of evil's desires. A lost king Kuracu once sat upon it, lost in his own ideas of power and life. Evil found in him a vessel to try to destroy the world. God will see that final path done." Lucas said, turning around, staring down at everyone.

"It is a short voyage from here to the Plains of Life. We will rest on the other side." he said, Emerson staring at him.

"The other side of what, Lucas?" he said, his wife's arms wrapped around him.

"Of life, of destiny and truth, Grandfather. Follow me to the greater destiny." Lucas smiled, the young man moving, walking around the throne, everyone staring at him, the camera following him.

Lucas stood in front of the golden sarcophagus staring at its golden smooth shape.

He raised his hand, the ring upon his finger glowing again, the sarcophagus beginning to open.

Everyone stared as the front of the golden shrine opened, a black background showing, a soft indentation of a once held body showing.

"His final resting place, until I release his soul." Lucas said, the young man felt a hand now on his shoulder.

"I saw him entombed within this golden tomb myself, Lucas." Meresankh said, now standing at his side.

"His body disintegrated when the tomb opened, long gone to dust, Meresankh." Lucas said, she nodded.

"His love still lingers in my heart. I long to see him again." she said, Hemi now at his mother's side, his arm around the young beautiful angel.

"I wish to meet him as well, Mother. To have your love he must have been a loving man." The young Egyptian said, Meresankh smiling at him.

"He was, Hemi. He was my life." she said, staring at the black indentation.

She now saw a star within another star in the background's center, it now beginning to glow a soft violet.

"It. . .it cannot be!" she said, stepping back, Hemi staring at her.

"What is it, Mother?" he said, Lucas walking forward.

"It is a path we all must walk." Lucas said, the young man's hand moving, his ring touching the star, everyone feeling a soft tremble going through the marble slab they stood upon.

The blackness in the sarcophagus began to move, everyone staring at a thousand stars now shining in the blackness.

"The. . .it is the Pathway To The Stars!" Meresankh softly said, her wings now showing, all the angels surrounding everyone now showing their angelic forms.

"Come with me, my brothers. It is time to walk the path of destiny." Lucas said, the young man walking forward, the eight angels moving, walking behind him.

Everyone saw them disappear into the blackness, Josh moving to Hemi.

"I feel his love ahead, I'll follow him anywhere." Josh said, moving forward, Hemi following him.
Everyone looked at each other, saying a soft prayer in their souls, moving forward.

The Plains of Life

What everyone heard first was the rushing water.

Then the darkness began to fade, a soft light blooming before their eyes.

The shapes began to form, everyone's eyes widening at the beauty surrounding them.

It was as many of them long remembered.

Before them stood a large cascading waterfall, a meadow of grassy beauty in front of it, flowers blooming all around them, boulders surrounding a pool's calm blue waters.

"It's Lucas' Pool! As we all remember!" Finn said, his wife in his arms, the young Welshman taking in every remembered leaf and stone.

"It is Kuracu's Pool, Finny."
Finn's blue eyes met Lucas' violet pools, the young man seated upon the boulder at the water's edge.

Everyone moved, walking up to the boulder, staring at the surrounding beauty.

"It's the pool from your dreams, Lucas. Where you all were married." Francesca said, her husband's arm around her.

"I remember all of it. Our matrimonial haven." Gio said, Nick's and Gideon's arms around him.

"Our spot of heaven." Usher said, Pierce's arm around him, Adam at their side.

"Heaven it is, my friends." Lucas said, everyone staring at him, Hudson's camera on him.

"Is this Paradise, Lucas?" Jacques said, his arm around his Lewis.

"Paradise for all of us lies in our soulmate's eyes. God gives us paradise in everything we see." Lucas said, the young man standing up from the boulder, his soulmates and sons surrounding him.

Justy stretched out his arms, Lucas taking him from Lance, the boy snuggling in his father's arms.

"I feel his wuv, Daddy. This is his special place." The little boy said, Lucas smiling and kissing his cheek.

"For the last path my son." he smiled, looking around at everyone.

"This is the final moments of a once lost king's unending love. Meresankh remembers this pool from her husband's dreams. This is the manifestation of his love. The last part of his remaining love taking on the form of nature's beauty. As his soul always was to her." Lucas said, Meresankh smiling at him.

"He once said his heart was the nature of his existence. I sense now what he meant. Kuracu's love was as beautiful as all this." she said, Lucas smiling, looking around.

"With his final breath before the evil consumed him he gave his heart to your love, Meresankh. This pool was that manifestation. His love taking on its beautiful form. It has flowed through my family's destiny, always following your love." he said, Meresankh nodding, looking around the pool and waterfall.

"I feel his love more here than in the other real world, Lucas." she said, Lucas nodding.

"It's at its final moments, Rosy." he smiled, the little girl smiling up at him now.

"His love was always beautiful, Luke. I think she'll feel it soon." she smiled, Colton's arm going around her.

"Where are we, Lucas?" Anderson said, Jake about to ask the same thing, both their faces showing their awed wonder.

Lucas smiled, staring into Hudson's camera.

"We are on the edge of life, on the path of God's final absolution. We are in the void of His heavenly path. The Plains of Life are close. The wonders of His love are at hand."

Lucas moved, his hand going into Josh's, Justy climbing into Josh's arms, Lucas smiling at everyone.

"Follow me to the wonders of His love. The masses are assembled, the final battle is at hand. The dawn's light will show His will." Lucas said moving, Josh following him, Justin and Lance behind them, Joshy in Lance's arms.

Adam and his soulmates followed them, everyone following.

Lucas walked along the pool's grassy shore, walking around it, moving through the tall grass, walking away from it towards a grassy knoll ahead of him.

Everyone followed, taking in the tall grass and blossoming flowers everywhere, slowly rising up the knoll, cresting its top, everyone stopping, taking in a surprising sight before them.

Reverend Saunders and Cardinal Santiago went to their knees, seven angels following their reaction, wings spread wide.

"Behold the wonders of His love. All are drawn to its beauty." Lucas said, everyone staring in silent wonder, Hudson's camera taking in the silent wonder of it all.

Before the group was an immense plain of unfathomable length.

It seemed to go on forever.

Before them stood a multitude of unimaginable glowing life.

Thousands of people were standing, sitting or walking around, a soft glow surrounding all of them.

All were looking away from the people standing on the hill, all their eyes drawn to what the multitude were looking at.

Halfway across the plains a multitude of dark shadows stood, moving and pulsating like a large enigma of red glowing evil.

A large distance was between it and the gathering glowing throng.

"The two sides of the battle. Good and evil. Life and death. The greatness of our heavenly brethren, the darkness of evil's minions. The battle awaits both." Lucas said, the young man staring at something farther behind the pulsating darkness.

A soft light beamed on the edge of the distant plains, its glow almost blinding in the distance.

"What is that far light?" Jonathan asked, Haras' arm around him, everyone staring beyond the black throng.

"That is life eternal, Jon. God's final path to eternity."

"The way to heaven?" Randall said, staring at Lucas.

"The gateway to the final path, Randall. A path we all one day walk. It is my destiny to clear the field before it so all can walk into eternal happiness." Lucas said, Josh staring at him.

"Why can't God just do it, my love?" he said, Lucas smiling at him.

"We are all God's children, my love. We all listen to his will." he smiled, the young man smiling around at everyone.

"Wonders lay ahead, life lays behind. We'll take back with us a greater love. Come, my family. Destiny awaits. Let's rest in those tents at the bottom of the hill. Then I must walk the path of my destiny. The time is at hand."
Lucas moved, walking ahead of everyone, stopping on a flat surface halfway down the knoll's other side, standing alone.

"Brethren of life! Brethren of faith! Harkon unto the hearts of all of us! The time is near! I am as I am. As He made me! Follow me to the last path!" he yelled, all the glowing images on the plains turning at his voice, all staring upwards at Lucas.

As one they went to their knees, raising their hands.

"We feel the love! We feel His love!" They screamed, their voices echoing across the plains.

Behind them hissing and growling could be heard floating across the plains, the darkness having heard Lucas' words as well.

Lucas raised his hand, his golden ring glowing, its brightness almost blinding.

"Follow my light, follow His love." he said, the young man lowering his hand, the multitude of glowing brethren rising to their feet, bowing as one towards him.

Lucas smiled, the young man turning back to his family.

"Come, my family. The day wanes. Light of life is at hand." he smiled, walking down the hill again, everyone following in silence.

Lucas smiled, feeling the love wrapped around him.

Justin's lips were on his neck, kissing it softly.

Josh's fingers were under his shirt, rubbing his abs, his lips attached to Lucas'.

Lucas felt Justin's hand on his ass again, kneading his left buttcheek.

"Calmness, my beauties. Didn't I put out those fires this morning?" he smiled, Lance smiling in front of him.

Lance sat on the bed in front of Lucas, his two sons sleeping in its white covered center.

"You always get our hearts and desires going when you show your love. Thousands saw it just now, I'm really excited." Justin said, his hand now slipping under Lucas' pants waistband, going in search of love.

"Is that a stick of dynamite rubbing my ass, or is something else going to explode?" Lucas smiled, Lance softly laughing.

Josh chuckled, slapping Justin's ass, their eyes meeting.

"Calmness, HD. He's mine first." Josh smiled, Justin sticking his tongue out at him, Lucas laughing.

"It's not a competition boys. And we don't have time." he said, stepping back, the two releasing him, Justin pouting.

"Aw, Luke. I need you!" he said, Josh's arms going around his friend.

"You need something, alright. Unfortunately I have to do a few things. The masses await. You keep each other happy until I get back. And no warping the kids." he smiled, the young man turning and smiling at all three men, winking and walking out of the tent they all sat in.

They'd all come down the knoll, Lucas guiding everyone to the tents all set up at the bottom of the hill, set aside from the gathered glowing masses further ahead.

They'd all stared at the glowing faces far ahead of them, most indiscernible.

"Time soon enough for gathering life. Let's relax for a bit and get everything organized. I need to speak to my eight brethren of angelic life alone in a few minutes." Lucas had said, the young man guiding his soulmates to the first tent beside them.

Everyone else divided into the other tents, the area quiet and resolute, families joining.

Here now Lucas had left, going in search of his angelic brethren.

Justin pulled Josh close, kissing his lips.

"I need you Joshy." he said, his hands already on a mission of their own.

"I'll watch the kiddies and the free show." Lance smiled, Josh laughing, guiding Justin to another bed on the other side of the tent.

Lance smiled, watching Josh overpower his husband, Justin lost in ecstasy, Josh's experienced hands and mouth guiding him to his desires.

Lance smirked, knowing Josh's talents were overpowering Justin as usual.

Oh, you're so amazing Joshy.

I love your hands as much as Justin does.

Lance smiled, feeling around in his pocket, pulling out Lucas' golden watch.

He stared at it for a moment, then looked towards his soulmates, Josh thrusting deeply into Justin, Justin lost in the love flowing.

Neither of you saw it.

The glow of this watch as we walked through those troughs of treasures.

I believe this was from there at one time.

Is it magic?
Is it more?

What am I to do with it?

Lance stared down at the watch again, seeing a shadow cross his feet.

He raised his eyes taking in the near naked vision before him, Josh smiling down at him, the man wearing only briefs.

"He needs more, Lancy. Your man needs your love." he smiled, Lance smiling, slipping the watch into his pocket again, standing and kissing Josh on the lips.

"You tasted his love. I taste its creamy goodness." he said, tweaking Josh's left nipple.

"Go get your own. That tap's endless." Josh smiled, Lance smiling and removing his shirt.

"I want you later, beautiful." he said, Josh kissing his left nipple.

"Guaranteed." he smiled, Lance smiling and walking over to his husband, Justin pulling him down on top of his naked smooth form.

Josh smiled, moving onto the bed, snuggling against his sons, his back to the love flowing behind him.

He smiled, staring at his sleeping sons.

I need all your love, Lucky's the most.

He smiled, closing his eyes, walking with his sons in their dreams.

A watch that Josh gave him with love.

A watch that now appears to glow with magic.

The path starts.

The magic and love unfolds.

Thanks for waiting for me, I'm sorry I've been late with this.
