I walked down the hall and down the steps with Harry and the others following. There was a group of kids standing in the hall in front of the potions classroom. "What's everyone doing out here?" George asked. One kid pointed to the door. "Can't you hear?" I listened. It sounded like crying. Turning to Harry as I conjured up my Wakizaki, I saw that he had his wand at the ready. "Harry, you're behind me. Ron and Hermione, you team up and go to the right. George and Fred, you two up the middle. Stupefy spells only," I said. I felt myself shift to combat mode. I eased the door open slowly and the crying got louder. I went left, Harry behind me. The other pairs moved exactly like I wanted them to. I circled to the left towards the desk at the front of the classroom. Papers and all kinds of potion materials were scattered everywhere. "Two hex marks on the walls," Harry whispered. I finally came around the large desk to see a bundle of cloth on the floor. The crying was coming from it. Fred and George looked at me, clearly puzzled. I approached the bundle of cloth and used the tip of my sword to move it. Then I saw what it was. It was a baby lying there. Harry Potter and David 03 I blinked as I held the crying baby. Hermione hurried over and took it from me. Harry picked up the robes and examined them closely. "It's Professor Snape," he said. I turned to Harry. "You sure about that?" Harry showed me the Slytherin logo on the robe. "This is his robe." The other kids crowded around to look. I saw Draco examining the marks on the wall and I walked over. "Any idea what kind of marks they are?" I asked. The blond turned to me. "You sure are dumb. These are battle hexes." "I'm not dumb, Malfoy. Just uninformed as to what they are," I said softly, my eyes carrying the anger I felt. Draco backed off for a moment looking scared. I stepped forward as he backed up. "George, I suggest you stay here and make sure nobody messes with the marks on the wall. Fred, you stay with him. Ron, go get Professor Dumbledore and show him the marks on the walls. Harry, Hermione, and I are taking Snape to the infirminary. Everyone else is to leave this area right now," I said. "Who are you to give orders?" yelled Draco. I stared at him with my best glare and he withered under it. He turned and stormed out with the rest of the Slytherins behind him. A few of the Gryffindors volunteered to stay. I followed Hermione and Harry to the infirminary as Ron went to find Dumbledore. On the way up we encountered McGonogall. I stopped to talk to the lady while Hermione and Harry went into the hall to the infirminary. I told here everything and she went straight into the infirminary. Mrs. Pomfrey looked up as we walked in. McGonogall blinked at the sight of Snape as a baby lying on the table. Hermione looked up just as she finished taping a diaper on the baby. "I'm not sure if I am dreaming or hallucinating," McGonogall said at last. "You ain't dreaming," I said. "How?" she asked. Pomfrey sighed. "From what Miss Granger said about the marks on the walls in the classroom, it had to be a very powerful spell that did it." "Indeed it was," Dumbledore said, coming into the infirminary. "Who?" asked Ron. I scratched my chin. "Revenge? Someone who doesn't like Snape?" "Nobody around here likes him," Ron informed me. "He's an ex-death eater." I suddenly had the feeling that this was just the beginning. Something was wrong here and it would take a bit of doing to catch this person. I sat and thought for a bit. I made a list inside my head of the most likely targets of this person and concluded it was too much ground to cover. The next person would give me a clue as to how this person would work against the school. If I were in his place, I'd take out the stronger teachers and student first and then knock down the others. Dumbledore caught my eyes and a slight movement of his head indicated he wanted to talk to me in the hall. Moving into the hall, I told him of my thoughts. "Very interesting thinking, David. If I were this person, I'd do that too. This is between us for now," he said stroking his beard. He walked off down the hall as Hermione, Harry, and Ron came out of the medical room. "What's up?" Harry asked. "Tell you later. Walls have ears," I said. Since potions was a bust we went to Transfiguration next. McGonogall sure made that class interesting. I did okay my first time out and managed to turn a piece of paper into a stick. I grinned at the effort. "Don't worry, you'll get it before long. Just keep practicing," McGonogall said. I liked her. She was a real lady, right in the same group as Hermione, Molly, and Ginny. She moved on to examine other people's efforts in their assignments. I sat back and let my mind wander over the puzzle that had presented it's self that morning. By lunchtime the word had gone all over. Many people were speculating and I casually observed everyone at their tables during lunch. No real suspects jumped out at me. I checked my class schedule and saw that Care of Magical Creatures was next, followed by Charms. This could be interesting. I sat on a bench in the castle courtyard watching the stars slowly come out as the evening fell. The day's events still had me puzzled and I wasn't sure what to do next. I decided to fall back on my original plan, and that was to let this person strike again. I knew for sure that there would be more victims before this thing was over. I looked up as footsteps came towards me and it was Harry. "What are you thinking about?" Harry asked. I smiled. "About you." Harry smiled. He looked so much cuter when he smiled. I loved the way his face reacted when he smiled. It seemed to light up completely and the green eyes of his seemed to glow brighter. None of us saw Dumbledore looking on as we kissed. Harry sat next to me and took my hand into his. He leaned against me and sighed. "The stars are beautiful tonight," I commented. "You should see them from the top of the Gryffindor tower," Harry said. "Let's take a blanket or two up there some night and I'll teach you the constellations," I suggested. "I like that idea," Harry whispered into my ear. God that got me hot. I wished we could sneak into our flat and enjoy each other tonight. But because of the situation, Dumbledore thought it best not too. Harry and I had reluctantly agreed once we saw the wisdom in that. There would be plenty of time once the situation was over. We continued to sit there for a while and hold hands. I could feel something coming from him and going into me. I wondered what it was and decided to ask Dumbledore about it later. I heard a whistle from inside the corridor running north and south and recognized it as Ron's signal to us. "Do we respond?" Harry asked me. "Up to you love," I said. Harry whistled back, repeating the signal. Ron and Hermione walked up to us a moment later, holding hands. They sat next to us and leaned back admiring the stars. Not much was said for some time. I was aware of warm feelings around me and it was a bit strange to me. Ichiro had never shown any kind of affection to me and this was taking some getting used to. Sure made me feel so good. "I stopped by the infirminary to check on Snape's progress," Ron reported. "No change yet and no idea what the spell was." "It was definitely a spell. Malfoy identified it as battle hexes," Hermione said. "I find it interesting that he knew what it was," I said. Ron frowned at that. "You're right, now that you mention it. He did say what it was." "Unless Malfoy was trying to throw us off the trail," Harry said. "I made sketches of the hexes and first chance I get I'll hit the library and see what I can come up with," I scratched my chin. "Harry does have a point. Whoever it was may have deliberately thrown the marks on the wall to confuse us." "We'll know before long," Hermione said. "Well, the Trio is off again," Ron commented. "Better make that the Gang of Four," Harry grinned. "David's one of us now." Hearing that made me feel good. "Thanks love." Harry looked into my eyes. "Anytime sweetheart." It was getting late and we stood up and started off back into the castle to the Gryffindor Dorms. I watched the staircases shift as we rode one and I suddenly wondered just how this castle managed to change its shape and not fall apart. It also brought other questions to my mind. "You got questions, we got answers," Harry said, wiggling his eyebrows at me repeating the famous commercial and making us laugh. "I do have questions about the castle," I said. Hermione thought for a moment. "Check out Hogwarts, A History from the library. Might help you some." "We could show him the thingy," Ron whispered. Harry grinned. "Perfect. That could help us keep track of suspects as well." Ron led the way into the Gryffindor commons room once the stairs stopped moving. The room was empty since everyone had gone to bed. Harry went up into his room and came back moments later with a parchment in his hand. He laid it out on the table and tapped it once with his wand. "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good," he intoned. Before my eyes a likeness of the castle appeared before my eyes. There were marks moving about and I looked closer to see names next to the moving spots. I had to suppress a laugh. "This is the Marauder's Map," Harry informed me. "With this we can tell who is where at any given time." "This is too cool," I said. "I won't have to strain my abilities too much." Ron's eyebrows lifted. "Abilities?" I explained about my ability to sense people and things when I was in Getsumi no Michi. "I also possess a low level telepathic ability as well," I said. "Very nice," Harry smiled. "Don't worry. Your secrets are safe with us," Ron said. I nodded. "Thanks Ron. I appreciate that." It was getting very late so we all turned in. I lay on my bed feeling a little lonely with out Harry being next to me. I wondered if he felt the same. First chance we get I'll establish the link between us. I also wanted to know about the powerful feelings I was getting from him tonight. I'd convince him to go see Dumbledore with me in the morning and ask him about it. Having made that decision, I rolled over and went to sleep with Harry firmly in mind. Something woke me. I checked my watch and noted the time. It was nearly four in the morning. I retrieved the map and said the words over it. The outline of the castle appeared and I looked at it for a few minutes. Fitch and his cat Mrs. Morris were prowling the area between the kitchens at the main hall. Another mark was there but no name was next to it. It was headed for the Slytherin dorms. I didn't wait to wake Harry. I raced down through the commons room and out the door while conjuring up my ninja suit and swords. In a heartbeat I was in Getsumi no Michi and ready. I could sense this person even though he/she was trying to cover themselves. I raced through the halls and nearly ran down McGonagall. "Slytherin," I said as I raced past. She turned to follow me in her cat form. We got there just as the figure was leaving the dorms through the door. I knocked it back into the room and the fight got started. It was a very short fight. Whoever he was extremely quick with some spell that acted like a flash bang. By the time the bright light was gone, so was he. How did I know it was a he? He was projecting his aura very clearly and it told me it was a he. I cursed loudly and McGonagall looked at me in shock. I turned to see Crabbe coming down the stairs. "Malfoy," he whispered and fainted. McGonagall followed me into the bedroom area where Malfoy had his bed. Sure enough, he had been turned into a baby. Slytherin House was this kid's target. I knew it had to be a kid because of the person's size. I had seen his hand when he pointed his wand at me and the hand was small and slim. I sighed as McGonagall picked up a howling Malfoy and wrapped him in the bed sheet. On the way out I conjured up a stretcher for Crabbe and we went down to the infirminary. Lady Pomfrey was there and wide awake as we came in. She looked at Malfoy and grinned briefly and pointed to another bassinet along the wall. She then turned to Crabbe and checked him out. "He'll be fine in the morning," she said with a chuckle. Seeing Slytherin House getting turned into babies sure brought out her good mood. I knew that Slytherin House didn't have a golden reputation here at all. "They have a history of producing Dark witches and wizards," Ron informed me at breakfast later that morning. I yawned and nodded as I sipped some coffee. "Really?" "Voldemort was one of them," Harry said, his voice low. That sparked my interest. "Does the library have any books on wizards from ages past in other countries?" "If it does, Hermione would know. She is Madam Pince's best customer there," Rom grinned, teasing Hermione. She blushed as Harry and I smiled at the comment. I looked up to see a great owl fly in and drop something on the table in front of Dumbledore. He picked it up and studied it for a moment and then opened it. He didn't blink as a man's voice came roaring out of it. "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON OVER THERE? WHAT HAPPENED TO MY SON DRACO? I DEMAND ANSWERS RIGHT NOW!" the voice roared. "Lucius Malfoy," Ron whispered. "He's a Death Eater." I watched Dumbledore for a reaction. There was none. He casually dropped it on the table next to him and kept on eating breakfast. My respect for the man went up even more. Now that was a sign of a real leader. He wasn't getting emotional over that thing. In fact, he acted like it didn't bother him one bit. "His nickname is Lord Iron Balls," I whispered to Harry who choked on his toast to keep from bursting out in laughter. "I call him that because nothing ever seems to rattle that old man." Dumbledore glanced at me in that moment and his eyebrows slightly lifted as if he heard what I had said. I smiled and nodded. Having finished breakfast, I followed Harry to our first class, which was Potions. I wondered who was going to teach it when our question was answered by Dumbledore's arrival. I wondered if there were no limits to the man's talents. He just smiled and informed us all he was taking over Snape's class for the time being. After the class ended he leaned forward and whispered into my ear. "I have been called many things, but Lord Iron Balls is a new one to me," he said smiling as his eyes twinkled merrily. I laughed as I left the room. Harry and I had some free time between Hagrid's class and lunch so we walked down to the lake. We sat there and watched the younger merboys jumping up out of the water as they played. It was a very entertaining sight. "I could get used to this," Harry said as he leaned against me. I wrapped my arms around him. "Well get comfortable, lover. I plan on doing this a lot with you." Harry sighed a contented sigh. "I like the sound of that. I gotta tell you I liked the joke at breakfast." "You're not the only one. Dumbledore said he thought it was funny," I told him. "Cool. I bet Ron has told his brothers by now," Harry said. I snorted. "It's probably all over the school by now." "I'd bet on that," Harry laughed. He turned to look at me and I could see something going on inside his emerald green eyes. I couldn't describe it. It captivated me and drew me in. I leaned forward and kissed him. Harry wrapped himself around me and returned the kiss. I decided now was the time to set up our connection. "Harry," I said, "I want to set up a connection with you so that we'll always know where each other is and be able to mind talk." Harry smiled. "I was hoping you would ask." We put our palms together and closed our eyes. I slipped into Getsumi no Michi and began the first part of the mating ritual. I felt his heartbeat through his palms and matched his. I suddenly found myself in a big field of flowers. I turned to see my lover Harry standing there. He smiled and embraced me. As we hugged and kissed there, I felt myself merge with him. Suddenly I was privy to all his thoughts and memories. He shared all of them freely with me. I shared all of mine with him. There were no secrets between us now. As I retreated I found myself lying on the dock with Harry lying on top of me. His green eyes blinked at me. I could feel his mind reach out and touch mine. It suddenly occurred to me that by doing what I had, I had awakened a hidden talent of his. [That just occurred to me as well love,] Harry said. [Amazing how two minds think alike] I said. Harry laughed at that and I hugged him close. We kissed and I could feel what was going on inside of him. The feelings and sensations were so nice. We sat up and I checked my watch. It was about five minutes before noon. "Let's go eat," Harry said. I stood and pulled him to his feet. We walked back to the castle holding hands and practiced thought speak all the way back. It was so easy to do. By the end of the day we would be doing it effortlessly. I felt like we had taken another big step in our relationship. It was starting to turn serious. I hoped deep down inside that things would work out fine for us. I wanted Harry to be happy. He deserved some happiness in his life. Harry smiled and I knew he had caught those thoughts. We were definitely in love. We sat next to Ron and Hermione. She had a book in front of her and was reading as she ate. I peeked over her shoulder and noted some of the drawings there. "Book on hexes. I'm trying to match up the hexes I got off the wall in Potions class and on the wall by Malfoy's bed," she explained. I had forgotten to look on the walls by Malfoy's bed for clues. Hermione was on the job. She'd make a world class detective if she was inclined to be. "Hermione, have you ever thought of being a private investigator?" I asked. "You'd be damn good at it." "What's that?" Ron asked me. I explained the idea behind it as Ron and the rest of the table listened. Many of the people listening agreed with me that Hermione would make a great detective. "Well she was a great help in some of our misadventures," Ron stated. Hermione leaned over and gave Ron a kiss on the cheek. He blushed as the table applauded. The bell rang right then and the Great Hall emptied out as everyone went to their next class. My mind wandered during Professor Binn's history lecture. I wondered just what this kid was going to do next. So far his attacks had been limited to just Slytherin House. I had been observing people since the fight last night and the only group who was looking mean at me was the Slytherins. Some gal named Pansy Parker even had the brass to accuse me of the attacks. I was trained to be very sneaky and had the means to do sneak attacks, but I didn't know any spells to turn people into babies. I sighed and stuffed the problem into a compartment in my mind and turned to listen to Professor Binns. That evening found Harry and me up on the Gryffindor Tower. We had set up a comfortable bed up there and were snuggled up next to each other under blankets. I was showing Harry the different constellations that could be seen in the English night sky. "It's all so beautiful," Harry said. "I never knew there were so many stars." "It is beautiful and I'm enjoying showing them to you. We have to do this more often," I said. Harry grinned at me. "How about we create a few stars of our own?" He rolled on top of me and kissed me. His lips felt soft and tasted sweet on mine. I felt the feelings start from someplace deep inside of me. I slipped into Getsumi no Michi and made contact with his mind. Suddenly I was feeling what he was feeling. The feelings between us got stronger and we started undressing each other. As I removed an article of clothing from him, I touched his bare skin the item had covered. First thing that went was his shirt. I touched and caressed his chest. He was starting to develop muscle in his chest and I gently tweaked and pulled on his erect nipples. I heard him moan inside my mind and knew he was enjoying the pleasure. I could feel his fingers touch mine and play with them the same way I had played with his. [This feels so good] Harry said. [Love you] I said. We kissed once more before moving our exploring hands and fingers down each other's torsos. I felt his soft skin, felt the bottom of his rib cage, and stuck my fingers inside his navel. I could feel the palms of his hands slide down my chest and back as he kissed me. I poked my tongue against his lips and they parted slightly. I slipped my tongue inside his mouth and started French kissing him. It took him a moment to get the hang of it and the feelings got even more intense. [This is so erotic] Harry giggled. [You know it babe] I said. His fingers reached my pants and I stopped my caresses long enough for him to open and remove my pants. I could feel his hands feel and gently squeeze my thighs, making me sigh in pleasure. Harry was so good at this. He relaxed long enough to let me take his pants off. I admired his long slim legs as I pulled his jeans off. His Gryffindor boxers were a sight to behold. [Love the boxers, lover] I said. I heard him giggle in my mind. [Whatever that thing you wear makes you look so sexy] [It's called a mawashi] I explained. We kept on exploring each other and kissing. I could feel his hands on my ass squeezing and caressing them. His hard cock was pressed against my hard cock. He gently moved his against mine and the feelings tripled. [This is the best pleasure I've ever felt] Harry said. I had to agree. I slipped my hands into his boxers and slowly removed them. Harry sighed as I gently squeezed his hard cock. I added his boxers to the pile of clothes next to him. I reached down with my right hand and took his cock in hand and slowly jacked it. Harry shivered against me and I could feel his pleasure level rise even more. He pulled my mawashi (something martial artists and sumo wrestlers wear in training) apart and off me. I felt his hand take hold of my cock and start to jack it. We jacked each other off for a bit until Harry suggested something. [Let's try a 69 that we read about in the book] he suggested. [Okay] I agreed. I moved around until my head was at Harry's abs and my abs at Harry's head. I felt his tongue poke at the head of my erection and I did the same. We timed our moves together. We spent a few minutes licking each other's balls and cocks first before doing some serious sucking. At the right moment, Harry and I took each other's cocks into our mouths and started sucking each other off. I cannot describe what the feelings were like. They were so intense. The harder and faster we sucked each other off, the more powerful the feelings got until they became too much for us. We shot our cock loads into each other's mouths as we began ejaculating. I swallowed his load as he swallowed mine. His sperm tasted smooth and sweet. I hoped mine tasted good for him. We collapsed once we finished ejaculating. I crawled on my hands and knees back to my original position and took him into my arms. Getsumi no Michi faded as I kissed him. He looked at me and I could see something going on in his eyes. "I want to explain what I was feeling but I can't," he said and started to cry. I held him as he cried on my shoulder. I shed a few tears of my own, feeling utterly helpless to describe my own feelings. I don't remember us falling asleep up there but we did. The morning sun in our eyes woke up. I checked my watch and discovered it was nearly six. Harry and I rapidly dressed and got back into our dorm just as Ron was emerging from his bed. He grinned at us and gave us the thumbs up. Harry and I grabbed our shower gear and went to the showers. It was going to be a great day. It was during Transfigurations that I had the blazing bright idea. I wondered why I hadn't thought of it sooner. I jotted it down and decided to catch McGonagall after class and ask her. "Now that is a novel idea," she said once I explained my sudden inspiration. "It is very possible," Hermione said. "The history books I have read have described power channeled through objects such as amulets, staffs, and rings." "But through swords?" Harry asked. "Only one way to find out," McGonagall stated. "We go to Dumbledore." Albus Dumbledore pulled on his beard as I explained my idea to him. "I have heard of power channeled through various things like Miss Granger has stated from her various studies. The true expert on this subject would be Ollivander's, the wand makers." "Can I go see him?" I asked. "Yes. I will owl him and let him know you are coming by floo network Saturday afternoon. Hopefully you will find your answer there," Dumbledore said. "I will escort you, Potter, Weasley, and Granger there myself," McGonagall told us as we left the office. "No problem. Lunch is on me," I said. We walked up to the Gryffindor commons room and sat in the overstuffed chairs and relaxed. Hermione picked up a book and started reading again. Ron started tinkering around with a chessboard, Harry sat down at the table and started writing a letter to his godfather Sirus Black, and I stared into the fire and let my thoughts wander. My life had improved dramatically since I arrived here and just got better all the time. I had never thought I'd ever fall in love with a boy, let alone have a kind of normal life, never mind the fact I was a wizard ninja. That was an amusing thought. I smiled for a moment and looked up at Harry. He was concentrating on his letter writing. I studied his profile and committed it to memory. He had a nice face. It was the face of a teenager slowly turning into a man. I smiled again knowing I had intimately explored that face and would do so many more times. I had just begun to intimately explore his body and would get great pleasure doing it many more times. I loved Harry for who he was and not just for his body. I enjoyed being with him and talking to him. I enjoyed doing things with him. I guess that's what love is about. Just being with someone you care deeply about. Saturday afternoon rolled around finally. The school was relieved to have made it through the rest of the week without any more attacks. McGonagall met Harry, Ron, Hermione and myself in the Great Hall in front of the huge fireplace. She instructed me on how to use the floo network. "Good luck," Harry said as he disappeared. I followed behind him and jumped out of a fireplace in what was Ollivander's Wand shop. The old man himself came over to greet us. "Ah, there you are. So nice to see you all," he greeted us. "Would you care for some tea?" I accepted along with the others. We chatted about the weather for a moment or two and then he got down to the subject at hand. "I read with great interest the letter Albus Dumbledore sent me a few days ago. The more I thought of it, the more I became intrigued. So I did some searching. There is recorded in Japanese history of a man named Ichiro who was a ninja wizard. It was said he channeled his power through three swords. He turned into an evil dark wizard and nothing more was ever known about him," Ollivander said. I felt something like hands squeeze my heart hard. I called up my swords and laid them on the table in front of Ollivander. "You mean these three swords," I said. Ollivander dropped his teacup in shock and surprise. "Yes. These swords," he whispered as he looked at them. "Ichiro is dead. His spirit, soul, and body destroyed. He was the one who trained me in the Ninja Arts," I said. Ollivander nodded and studied the hilts carefully. "These are not the originals." He stood and began going through his shelves, pulling out boxes and peering into them and then shoving them back. It was an hour before he returned with three boxes. He placed them on the table in front of me. "These are the original hilts. They are actually wands designed to fit onto swords such as these," he informed me. I reached out to touch them and he stopped me. "Not yet. There is a ritual you must perform while putting them in place. They must be cleansed of the demon Ichiro's spirit before you can claim them as your own." I nodded as he handed me a parchment with the instructions on it. I dismissed the swords and put the three boxed inside a cloth bag. "What do I owe you?" I asked. He looked at me with great respect in his eyes. "Nothing, young wizard. You owe me nothing. Use them well and always in defense of the Light." I nodded. "You have my word of honor." I sat in the Gryffindor commons room late that night my mind still thinking about what happened that day. Harry came up behind me and sat down on the couch and leaned against me. I put my right arm around his shoulders. "Are you okay love?" he asked. I looked up into his green eyes and saw the concern there. "Yes. I'll be fine. I kind of wished I had asked the man where he got them." "I had thought of the question myself and owled him. Hopefully he will know. I would think since the swords were Ichiro's he would have kept better track of them. It's a surprise to me that he never found the original hilts for them," Harry said. "That would have made him invincible," I said, speculating. Harry shivered. "That's a scary thought." "Yeah, no kidding," I said. Harry moved around me and sat on the couch next to me and snuggled up to me. I pulled him closer and enjoyed the warmth from his body. I hoped that one day we could have a place of our own and do this much more freely. Harry smiled at me and touched my face sliding a finger down my jawline. I felt myself get aroused. Amazing how a simple touch can get you aroused, especially if it's your lover touching you. I stood and pulled him to his feet and then into my arms. I gently swayed us back and forth for a moment. "Are we dancing?" Harry asked. I smiled. "We are." "But there's no music," Harry protested. I put my head on his shoulder and whispered into his ear. "Love creates the music that all lovers dance to." "That's a beautiful thought," Harry whispered back. We held each other for another few minutes and then went up to bed holding hands. Harry slid into his bed and I tucked him in. He smiled as he set his glasses on the nightstand. I watched him fall asleep and then I turned to my own bed feeling very much satisfied. Being in love certainly was great. Harry and I held hands all the way down to breakfast the next morning. I felt like I was walking on air. Harry had a big smile on his face and it didn't take much for people to figure out that we were lovers. A few guys nodded to us as we walked into the Great Hall for breakfast. A letter was waiting there for us on the table. Harry read it first as I sipped coffee and ate a plate of eggs, fruit, and lightly fried potatoes. He passed it to me and I read Ollivander's response with interest. "David-san, unfortunately I cannot tell you where and how I acquired the hilts. They were in the shop long before my Great Grandfather passed it to my father who passed it to me. So sorry," Ollivander wrote. I wrote a short note and sent it back with an owl. Ron's fist thumping the table caught my attention. "Damn the bitch!" Ron snarled, tossing the Daily Prophet down. I picked up the paper and saw what Ron was reading. "Trouble at Hogwarts," I started to read the story. "It seems our children aren't safe at Hogwarts. This reporter has learned that there is someone running around at the school turning staff and students into babies. It is suggested the new student named David may be to blame for the incidents. Mr. Lucius Malfoy has told me that Headmaster Dumbledore should have never let that student into the school when so little is known about him. Mr. Malfoy is due to arrive at Hogwarts to investigate for himself what is going on. Is there something dark and perverse at work there? Is this boy the agent of You-Know-Who? This reporter intends to find out." I sighed. "There goes the damn neighborhood." "Try not to worry. I'll have a nice conversation with the little girl," Hermione smiled sweetly as she curled her fingers into a fist. I leaned over to Harry. "Remind me to never piss her off," I whispered. Harry's eyebrows lifted as he smiled. "I learned that a long time ago." The doors to the Great Hall opened at that moment and I got my first look at Lucius Malfoy. The man was tall and slim. He stood with the practiced pose of an aristocrat smooth and polished. The only thing out of place was the fury on his face. He stalked up to the Teacher's table and started talking to Dumbledore. I watched as Dumbledore kept his cool and not react. I was sure he wasn't having any trouble listening to Malfoy. [He really does deserve the nickname you gave him David] Harry said. [Yup. Dumbledore is indeed an unusual man] I replied. I went back to my coffee and breakfast and pursued the funny pages. Yes, the Daily Prophet does have the comics, just like the muggle papers do. Only difference is that you can see the characters move. Sure adds to the humor. Suddenly I felt someone breathing on the paper. I looked up into the red fury that was Lucius Malfoy. "I demand to know what you have done to my son," he snarled. I calmly put the paper down and sipped a bit of my coffee and composed myself. I stared him in the eyes until he looked away. "Don't mess with me. You might not survive the experience," I said softly. He snarled at me and then stormed up the staircase towards guest quarters. "This is going to get interesting," I quipped as people stared at me. Out of the corner of my eye I could see Fred and George doing something with paper. "Want in?" they asked innocently. "What is it?" I asked. "A betting pool," Fred replied. I handed over one hundred pounds. "I'm in." Harry looked at me as I smiled. "Always bet on a sure thing." The next few days passed quietly. I was waiting for a full moon to do the ritual required to place the hilts on the swords. Dumbledore had read the instructions and knew from his knowledge that this was a complex and powerful ritual. Knowing of his abilities, I asked him to assist me. "Glad you asked him to help you David. I feel lots better now," Harry said the night it was to happen. "I feel safe knowing he's there to pull my butt out of trouble just in case," I said. Since it was Sunday, I was resting in our flat in the bedroom with Harry next to me in bed. We hadn't done any real lovemaking, just some touching and kissing. Harry's body was responding real well to the workout program I had designed for him. Quite a few people had signed on for the weight training class I had offered to teach on the side. As the classes grew, I promoted more people to instructor ranks and outfitted the room with more gear and with Dumbledore's blessing even had an Olympic sized pool set up in another larger room. It certainly got a lot of use. He lay snuggled up into my right side and I had an arm wrapped around him. All that covered us was just a bed sheet. The fire in the room's fireplace kept us warm. We knew I would have to leave soon to start the preparations for the night's events. The clock struck seven in the evening and I knew it was time to go. Harry escorted me to the door and kissed me for luck. I smiled and rubbed his cheek and then left. I met Dumbledore on the grounds and we went to the spot that was prepared. I started the cleansing ritual, which consisted of buckets of cold water dumped over you until you were soaked. Then you washed up and rinsed off with the cold water. That was the traditional cleansing ritual. Turning to Dumbledore, I nodded to him and started the ritual. It was close to three in the morning when I slipped into bed next to Harry. He looked so sweet and angelic as he slept. I kissed him on the cheek and snuggled up to him before falling asleep. Harry's warm body warmed up my chilled one and I started to feel good. The ritual had gone well and I felt even more power come sweeping into me through the swords. After I had put them away, Dumbledore looked at me with a serious look on his face. I nodded. "With great power, comes great responsibility," I said. "Then there is nothing I can say, for you have said what needed to be said," he nodded at me and then went off to bed. Harry and I had barely sat down to breakfast when a woman came running down the stairs towards the teacher's table. She was hysterical. "Draco's mom," Hermione said as we watched her run up to the table. I didn't hesitate. I got up from the table and raced up the stairs for the guest suites with McGonagall, Harry, Hermione, Madam Pomfrey, and Ron behind me. I arrived at the room and slipped into battle mode. I peeked in and saw the room was a mess. There were hex marks everywhere. It looked like a war zone. I hoped the elder Malfoy had taken down the person. No such luck. I heard a child crying and followed the sound to the bathroom. In the tub sitting on a pile of cloth was the elder Malfoy. "Another Malfoy down," I said out loud. Madam Pomfrey pushed past me and picked up the crying baby and examined him. I walked back into the room and looked around. Hermione was hard at work examining the hex marks on the walls. Dumbledore and the lady walked in as Pomfrey walked out of the bathroom with the baby. "It is the senior Malfoy, Albus. I shall take him to the infirminary," she said and started out of the room. "Is that my husband?" the lady asked. Madam Pomfrey nodded. "I'm sorry." A faint smile appeared on her face. "It looks like I have two little boys to take care of now. Mind if I help?" "Follow me," Pomfrey said and both women left. This was starting to get out of control. This kid needed to be stopped. Fast. Hermione went to the library right after breakfast. Dumbledore had dismissed her from her classes and issued Madam Pince a note authorizing her to use the entire library as needed. Between those two, I hoped a cure would be found. I immediately suggested a buddy system to be implemented. Dumbledore liked that idea and it was put in place. He also gave me free reign of the school as well. I used the opportunity to start teaching Harry how to move like a ninja. The attack on the senior Malfoy shook things up. It scared people and no doubt give the kid more opportunity to attack. Rita Skeeter certainly didn't help things at all. "I want to know what you are doing about this, Dumbledore!" the tall ugly witch demanded the next afternoon. "I have people patrolling the school from the bottom to the top," Dumbledore said calmly to her as he sipped his tea. "I have a hard time believing that," she snapped. Dumbledore sighed and put down his cup. "Have faith, Miss. Skeeter. All that can be done is being done." I watched the witch storm off in a huff. I appeared next to Dumbledore and poured him a cup of tea and myself as well. "That went well," I said. Dumbledore looked up at me. "I would suggest you stay away from her for the time being. She can create problems out of nothing." "I know. Hermione has given me the low down on her," I informed him. I slipped back into the shadows and left the room as Fudge arrived. [DAVID!] Harry's scream echoed in my head. I didn't hesitate. I was moving long before Fudge had a chance to react. I leapt up on the table and reached for the chandelier. I swung upward and used my momentum to do a triple back somersault in midair to propel me to the second floor balcony overlooking the Great Hall. I landed on it and conjured up my Wakizaki and charged down the hall deep into Getsumi no Michi. I could feel Harry's mind directing me to the library. The first thing I saw was Ron lying on his back, out cold. [Where?] I asked Harry. [Don't know.] he replied. [Get Ron and yourself clear.] I ordered. I moved in, my senses on the edge and alert. I moved around the shorter bookcases and scattered books. It looked like Hermione had put up a great fight. I approached Madam Pince's desk and didn't see here there. I looked behind it and saw a baby there with the lady's glasses on her nose looking puzzled. I used wingardium leviosa to send her out of the library. This wasn't looking good. I stepped carefully around the scattered books and kept alert. I could hear the sound of crying and knew it had to be Hermione. Damn. The kid got her. I kept moving and sensed Dumbledore behind me. I hoped he could cover my back because it was starting to look like I wasn't going to be able to handle this. I had gotten bested once already by this kid. The crying got louder as I approached a tall bookcase. There were books piled up in front of a little baby. I cursed loudly. "Miss Granger," Dumbledore said from behind me. I sighed as I stepped down and relaxed. "This is getting so out of control." "I agree and it is time we acted. When you get Miss Granger settled into the infirminary, come see me in the Great Hall," Dumbledore said. "Aye aye, sir. Will do," I said, picking up Hermione. I walked her into the infirminary. Harry turned to see me walk in carrying Hermione in my arms. I set her into a bassinet and put a tag on it identifying her. "Now what do we do?" Harry asked. "We meet Dumbledore in the Great Hall and come up with some kind of battle plan to stop this. This is getting so way out of control," I said. I glanced at Ron as we walked out, heading down to the Great Hall. There were a group of people there already and Dumbledore looked up as we walked up. "It is time to make plans and hopefully catch this person in a trap," Dumbledore began. "I do need a volunteer." Fred Weasley stepped forward. "Count me in sir." "You sure?" I asked. "Yes. That person hurt a friend of mine and he'll pay," Fred eyes narrowed in anger. "I am the best choice due to the fact I have the top marks in charms and spells." "Brush up on them. You'll need them," I said. Fred just nodded. The plan was set. It would be leaked that Fred had discovered a part of a letter from Hermione that identified the attacker. The rest of it was inside the library somewhere. The rumor was to start in charms class when he opened a book that Hermione had loaned him. That worked really well. The other students gathered around Fred to see what he was holding. I observed them as they did so. Whoever it was would react to what Fred had. None of them reacted in anger so I ruled out that bunch. As the rumor spread through the school, I kept watching people. Fred was to spend nights in the library with us watching over him in shifts as he acted like he was searching for the other half of the letter. This kid was getting desperate by now. The attacks stepped up over the next week until Slytherin house had been reduced to babies. Pansy Parker was the only one left. The girl was scared beyond belief and I didn't blame her. The kid hadn't taken the bait and that plan was scrapped when Fred announced he'd given up trying to find the letter. The other houses were scared and now everybody was walking around in threes. This had gone way beyond pranking. This had become serious. I was getting frustrated. "David!" Ron yelled as he charged into the Gryffindor commons room with Fred and George behind him. "We found McGonagall!" "Oh shit," I swore softly. "Now what?" With her down, the chances of finding this kid grew slimmer. Dumbledore decided to confine all of us to our dorms in hopes of trying to stop this kid. A week went by with no attacks. This kid was damn smart, but sooner or later he would screw up. It was early Sunday morning that the next attack happened. I was asleep in bed, allowing my spirit to wander the halls. Suddenly something ran past me and I turned to see Pansy running into the library. "Pansy," the voice called out. "You can't get away from me. I'm going to get you. You're mine!" My spirit immediately came back to my body and I woke up in a hurry. I leaped out of bed and ran down towards the library, mind-calling Dumbledore at the same time. He knew of my telepathy and was teaching Harry and me how to use it effectively. I heard him acknowledge and I continued to the library. At the door I slipped into the ninja suit and into Getsumi no Michi. Now I could feel Pansy's terror and where she was. I could also feel where the boy was. "Pansy dear," he mocked, "I've come for you. Come out; come out, where ever you are. Make it easy for yourself. I will get my revenge on you for all the names you've called me. After I turn you, then my house will be next. Those stupid Hufflepuffs will never know what hit them." "I'm sorry," I heard Pansy's voice shake as she spoke. "Too late for that, girl!" the boy snarled. This guy had fallen over the edge and gone completely mental. I followed him as he moved around the library looking for Pansy. I felt Dumbledore's aura enter the room and felt relieved. A moment later he found her, cowering underneath Madam Pince's desk. She screamed as he grabbed by the ankles and dragged her out from under the desk. I palmed a throwing star that had sleeping potion on the six points and moved into position. Dumbledore moved up on the boy's left staying in the shadows. I turned in time to see Pansy's wand fly through the air into the boy's hand. He laughed as Pansy cried. She was trying to move her legs but couldn't. I watched as the boy stood over her. "If you're going to hurt me, I want to know who you are, coward!" she yelled. The boy laughed as he drew his hood back. I blinked twice to make sure I was seeing right. It was a guy named Roger Toomey. "Roger?" Pansy gasped. Roger laughed again. "Surprise, dear girl! This indeed will be a pleasure!" He raised his wand and I charged forward, using a flying front kick. He flew backwards into a bookcase. Roger quickly recovered and nearly caught me with stupefy. I back flipped and responded with the throwing star. Two of the sleeping potion coated points sank into his wand arm before he knocked it away. "That piddling piece of metal can't stop me ninja!" he roared in anger. He pointed his wand in my general direction and whispered something. I leaped to the top of the bookcase to avoid the spell and dropped down into the aisle. He turned to chase me and I caught him on the right side of the head with a front snap kick. He stumbled backwards and crashed into a table. I shot forward and grabbed his wand arm and quickly disarmed him, tossing the wand to Dumbledore as he came out of the shadow. Roger pushed me hard and I tripped over Pansy but recovered quickly. "Why?" Dumbledore asked. "Because I was tired of being teased and harassed about my clothes, my appearance, my family being dirt poor and not having any friends. All of you will pay for that!" he yelled as he attacked me. I blocked his two punches and sent him reeling with a strike to his head on the left side of his face and then coming back with a powerful right. He stumbled backwards and then suddenly he dropped. The potion had kicked in. I checked him before turning to Dumbledore. "He's out," I said. Dumbledore removed the spell from Pansy and I picked up the hysterical girl and carried her to the infirminary. Lady Pomfrey gave her a sleeping potion and she drifted off to sleep. I turned to see Dumbledore standing over Roger. Roger was firmly strapped down on a bed and the look in Dumbledore's eyes scared me. "David, you may go and search his belongings for the spell used. This wand is not responding to my commands," he said. "Yes sir," was all I said. It was midmorning that I finally found what I was looking for. Roger had written a journal of everything he had done. He even wrote down the spell he used. I walked down to the Great Hall to see the remaining houses and teachers there along with four men I knew to be Aurors. Fudge was there as well. "Sir, I found what we need to know," I said approaching Dumbledore. He turned to me and I was shocked by his appearance. He looked truly old. "What is the spell he used?" Pomfrey asked. "Reductio infantalia," I replied. "With an Italian accent. Brilliant," Fudge sighed. "At least we know what it is." I turned to Dumbledore as Harry came up to me. "What's going to happen to Roger?" Dumbledore looked at me sadly. "He is to be committed to St. Mungo's. He went insane this morning when he woke up." "That's sad," Harry said. "Revenge does destroy people," one of the Aurors said. Dumbledore nodded. "Now we need to find the counter spell. Harry, can you, David, and Ron find it in the restricted section? I will be looking through Snape's books to see if there is a potion to restore them." Fudge picked up his hat. "I'll return to the Ministry and have the staff look through our own library." "Good luck all of you," Dumbledore said. "I will accompany the Aurors as they take Roger to St. Mungo's. Owl me the moment any of you find the counter spell." With that, everyone went their separate ways. Classes got started for the day, but soon other people started showing up in the library to help. Ron took a break and went to see Hermione. Ten minutes later he came back with her in his arms, eyes shining. "Ron, what are you doing?" Harry asked. "I'll explain later," Ron said. He walked into the restricted section and down to one end. He held Hermione up so she could look at the plaques on the bookcases as Ron walked past them. Everyone by now had stopped and watched what Ron was doing. Suddenly Hermione let out a squeal as Ron walked past a bookcase. Harry started to laugh. "She's a baby, but she still has her mind intact!" Ron slowly moved her down the row until she squealed again. Ron stopped and lowered her down to the floor. No reaction. Then he lifted here until he had lifted her as high as he could. I pulled my wand and cast wingardium leviosa and they floated slowly to the top when Hermione squealed again. Ron pointed to books until she reacted again. "Pull it and let it drop!" Fred yelled. Ron did and I brought them down to the floor. People followed us to a table as Ron set Hermione in front of the book. The book was fairly thick and it took about a half hour of page turning until Hermione reacted. Fred peered over Ron's shoulder. "Counter spells for infantilism," he read aloud. "My God, we found it!" I turned to see Harry launch Hedwig out the library window. "Now we wait for Dumbledore to get back." "Let's take the book to Pomfrey," Lee Jordan said. Moments later Pomfrey was reading the page. "Yes, you have indeed found the right page. As to your theory of Hermione's mind being intact, I agree with that." "Agree with what, Poppy?" Dumbledore asked as he arrived. Harry explained the situation and Dumbledore nodded. Ron explained how he had come down to see Hermione and told her of what happened and how she threw a fit when he tried to leave. He explained how it occurred to him that Hermione's mind was still intact so he had taken her up to the library to test the theory and it working. "Well done. Now it is time to return them all to their proper selves," he said. We watched as Dumbledore drew his wand and began to chant. A bright light flashed and I closed my eyes quickly. Once I was able to see again, I had to laugh. Draco and his father sat side by side in diapers, with Snape on Lucius's right. I heard a click and turned to see Colin Creevy taking pictures of all the Slytherins sitting there in diapers. "WHAT IN BLOODY HELL IS GOING ON?" Snape roared much to everyone's amusement as he spit his pacifier out. Pomfrey sighed. "There goes the neighborhood." It was a few days before things settled back to normal. Dumbledore had the Slytherins go and change into school robes and called an assembly down in the Great Hall. Once we were assembled he then told us all what had happened. It was a humbling experience for a lot of us and quite a few people were to blame for pushing Roger Toomey to the edge and over it. I saw Rita Skeeter in the corner of the Great Hall and watched her take notes on what Dumbledore was saying. I hoped she would report the truth accurately. Dumbledore then gave us the rest of the day off to do what we wanted. Harry and I chose to go down to the lake and enjoy the first day of spring together. We were standing on the dock by the lake and held hands as we kissed. "Well, isn't that sweet," a sarcastic voice said. We looked to see a sneering Rita Skeeter standing there with a camera. "What do you want?" Harry asked, getting angry. She laughed. "Darling, I wanted a front page story out of all this poor little boy gets angry because he's teased crap and I knew if I hung around long enough I'd get it. See you on the front page tomorrow morning! Ta ta!" I turned and confronted her. "Please don't do that. You'd be stirring up a lot of trouble." She turned and walked back to us. "I report what's newsworthy and I think people deserve to know that the Boy-Who-Lived is getting hot and heavy with you." "You're wrong. That is personal business between Harry and me. You have no right to out us," I snapped. "What do you want from us to keep you quiet," Harry asked. "Not a thing, Potter," she said. She turned and walked away. I wanted to run after her and beat her good, but I didn't. That would cause more problems than it was worth. "What are we going to do?" Harry asked. I sighed. "We go see Dumbledore." Dumbledore sat in his chair and tapped his fingers on the desk as he thought about what we said about the confrontation at the lake. "I will send an owl to Fudge right now," he said, and did just that. "For the time being I suggest both of you be prepared to weather the storm that is surely to come in the next few days. Go ahead and stay in the flat if you wish." "Going into seclusion is not a bad idea, but sooner or later we will have to come out and face people," Harry said. "Easier said than done," I stated. Harry turned to me. "You know you were right when you told her it was our personal business and it still is. People are going to react to the news, that's for sure. Some of the reaction will be positive, some negative. We will lose some friends, maybe gain some others. If people can't accept we are in love with each other then I feel sorry for them for being so narrow minded." Dumbledore nodded. "Well said, Harry. In the course of being Headmaster of Hogwarts, I have encountered many people and I learn from them all. I truly wish that every person could be open minded about another person's lifestyle but unfortunately that is not so. I hope both of you know that I am very open minded about things and that my door is always open to both of you. No matter what happens now, never be afraid to walk around with your head held high. You are what you are and nothing can change that. I sincerely hope both of you will always be happy together." I stood and gave him a hug and so did Harry. Harry and I talked on the way up to the Gryffindor commons room after dinner. We decided it was time to tell people. We stopped to let a girl catch up to us. "Hi Harry and David," she said. Cho Chang was a girl Harry had known in the last year or so. I had met her when I first got started here. "Hi Cho. How are things?" Harry asked. She seemed a bit nervous about something. "Harry, I've heard talk about you guys. I've heard that you two are gay and involved with each other." "It's true, Cho. David and I are a couple. I thought it was obvious a few days ago," Harry replied. "It was, but everyone including myself wasn't quite sure. Now I am, and it doesn't bother me. I hope you guys are happy. Would you mind if I told some people?" she asked us. Harry nodded. "Go for it. We are telling our house tonight." She smiled. "It's so obvious to me you guys are so in love. Good luck." We walked into the commons room of our House to find people standing there. The room got real quiet. "Is it true you guys are gay?" someone asked. "Yes it is," I said as Harry took my hand. The room got quiet again. Then Seamus and Dean came up next to us and they took hands and kissed. "So are we," Seamus said. Ron grinned at us. "Doesn't bother me a bit. You guys are my best mates and I'm glad to know you." That seemed to break the ice and people started going off and doing their own thing. That hurdle had been cleared. Tomorrow would be the real test. To Be Continued Next Episode: The school reacts along with the Wizarding community. We find a lot of support from people and gain new friends.
