LOVE YA Chapter 17: Bounty The car ride was long and I listened to their stories. I was taken back when I found out that Gordon was walking with the reflectionless crowd. I was even more shocked when they told me he died. As we entered the hotel room, I was filled with a very awkward sense of deja vu. I felt as if I had been there, but I couldn't have possibly been there. I looked around slowly. "Good idea." I said, turning back to them, " Lodging so far away." "Yeah, that was my idea." Dean smirked. "i'm sure." I said quickly, sitting on the bed, " I know you guys have questions." "Yes." Sam said looking at Dean. Dean stood straight, " Yeah, umm, questions...like?" he asked. "Like where the hell he's been." Sam said angrily. "Helping. Learning." I said quietly. "Where were you learning?" Sam asked. "Covens. Friends. It's been a long winter." I said quickly, " After I left you guys, I decided that I was gonna be more than just the guy who stands back and waits until the last minute." "So you learned how to fight?" Dean asked. "In a manner of speaking." I said shyly. "Why are you here?" Sam asked. "Sam.." Dean said warningly. "No Dean! Why are you here, Chalis." Sam asked angrily. "You asked me to come." I said, standing. "No! You were the exact place we were. If you wanted, you could have just said a spell and took the book and been gone. Why did you come here?" Sam shouted at me. "I MISSED YOU!" I shouted back, " Why are you yelling at me?!" "BECAUSE YOU LEFT US!" Sam shouted. Afterwards, he looked as if he had let something slip out, " Why did you leave us?" "I'm sorry." I said softly, " I'm sorry, but I had to." "Why?" Dean asked, " Enlighten us, why did you have to leave us?" "In my mother's journal, there was a passage about a demon. The demon that killed my family. They sent him to hell, but when you opened the Hell Gate, he was released. He wants revenge and it took everything my mom and dad had to defeat him last time. If I stayed, I would have led him right here." "Why didn't you tell me?" Sam asked, " I could have helped." "You two need to be concentrating on helping Dean." I said quickly, " Besides, I think this is a one man mission." "You're not in this alone." Sam said, placing a hand on my shoulder. "Sam, Dean...I know, but this is something that has to be done by me. And I've gotta get out of here, If I stay too long they can find me." I said, standing and walking to the door. "How do they not know where you are." Dean asked. "The covens." Sam answered, " You can't go. It's not safe." "It really isn't." I said carefully. I stopped as the door knob began to turn by itself and before I could move, an explosion blew me off my feets and I flew through the air, twisting until I hit the wall and fell to the floor. As I regained consciousness, I looked around, seeing Dean draped over the bed and I tried to see Sam, but I couldn't. I looked forward to see someone walking through the door and immediately felt the realization that danger had found me once again. I quickly rolled underneathe the bed and tried to remember a spell, but before I could look around, I saw Sam, face down on the floor. He opened his eyes and leaned his head over to me. I put my finger up to my mouth and I saw feet come and stand over Sam. I had to think quickly, so I thought about the bathroom, the shower curtain and there a noise, as if someone was pulling it back. The feet walked away from Sam and into the bathroom, so I crawled from under the bed and checked Sam. "Are you okay?" I whispered, noticing blood on his eyebrow, " Stay here." I whispered, peeking over the bed. I walked over to Dean and shook him awake. "What the hell!" Dean shouted. "Shhh!" I said quickly, " Dean, do you know where the book is?" "It was on the dresser." Dean said quickly. "I have to find it." I said, getting up and running to the dresser. "Hold it." A voice said, causing me to stop in my tracks. I looked around to see a muscular, shirtless man. The man had long black hair and was tanned. He stood as tall as Dean, not quite Sam, " Went through hell trying to find you." "That was the point." I said breathlessly. "These your friends?" he asked. "Yes." I said bitterly. "It's nice that you have friends." he smirked. "Touching." I sneered, " How about we fight." "I'm not going to fight you." he said, moving closer, " I'm going to kill you. Where's the book." "Grabación de luz brillantes" I said, illuminating the room with an intense light. "Obscura!" a voice shouted and the light dimmed, " Destruye!" the voice said and I jumped out of the way and grabbed the book from the dresser as I fell to the floor. As I heard the footsteps, I opened the book and began to read the book. I remember the tattooes and suddenly I had a plan, " Tatuajes en mente, se disparan con el tiempo, tomar a este hombre, obligar!" I shouted and the man stopped, " Obligar!" I shouted once again and the man stopped and fell over. I exhaled a long, deep breath and almost passed out. I was startled when I felt someone grab me but was happy when I saw Sam standing behind me. "Are you alright?" Sam asked, " That was awesome." "Was that Spanish?" Dean asked, " I thought spells were in Latin." "Spanish is sorta latin, the roots and whatever. Words are just focus points, we don't have time, get everything and let's go, this only binds him for an hour." I said watching them load things up. My eye caught something, " Is...Is that the Colt?" I asked. "Yeah, a...ummm, an ally helped rebuild it." Sam answered, still packing. "How..." I asked, looking the Colt over. I stopped and looked up at Sam, " An ally? Anyone special?" "Special?" Dean asked curiously. "You know, special? Neither one of you?" I asked, " What do you guys do, masturbate constantly?" "Is that a serious question?" Dean asked. "I don't want to know." I said quickly, looking down at the man lying on the floor. "Who is he?" Sam asked. "We need to be gone when he wakes up." I said, regaining my breath, " He's not a good man." "So, he's a bad man? That's all you're going to tell us?" Dean asked. "Yes, Dean. Knowledge isn't always a good thing." I said quickly. I bent down, " Cloud su camino." I said, causing thunder. "Can you time travel with that?" Dean asked. "Dean, he can't time travel." Sam said. "Yes." I said ignoring Sam, " I can do many things. This book is the key to everyone's survival." "That's dangerous. This book is dangerous." Sam said nervously. "Only to people who cannot handle the power. I'm not the most powerful wiccan in all the land, believe me." I said, bringing my hand up to my nose, " See, I bleed." "So, powerful people don't bleed?" Dean asked. "Yes, but not after a few spells." I said quickly. "All the spells in that book are advanced." Sam said quickly, " Which makes it dangerous." "Dangerous is not getting out of here before he wakes up." I groaned. "What did you do?" Sam asked. "I clouded his way." I explained, " I blinded him." "Blinded him?" Sam asked with disbelief. "So, what about the tattooes coming to life and freezing him. What the hell was that?" Dean asked. A door slammed behind me, " Look, I'm not going to discuss it here. This book is going to save us all." I said. "That book can't bring people back to life, can it?" Dean asked. "Yes." "But you never know what state it brings you back in. You could come back as a zombie, Dean." Sam said, " Where have you been?" Sam demanded. "I've done things that I can't tell you about. So I won't." I argued. There was a thump and we all looked over to see that the man was gone. I looked around, confused. Anoter few minutes and Sam flew backwards. The spell had backfired! There was four men in the room and when I said cloud his way, it backfired. If I had spoken his name...I couldn't. "Revelar sólo lo que ..." I said, but I felt something hit me and knock me into the sky! As I bounced off the bed, I dropped the book and it slid away from me. "He said that you'd be powerful, but I never, ever knew..." the man's voice said, walking over to me. I could hear the footsteps and I knew it was only a matter of time before he either got to me or the book and I either way I couldn't let that happen. I rolled over on my side and attempted to crawl, but he caught me, " You're just a kid. I understand, but this world we live in, it's not made for kids." he said, holding out his arms and light shone out of his arms, " There's a huge bounty on your head. Every demon is after you." "I've cast spells." I rasped, " Now it's time to kick your ass." I said, kicking his legs from under him. He fell with grace and recovered instantly, grabbing at me, but I punched him. As he came at me again, Dean and Sam grabbed him, " Diezmar!" I said, causing a bright green light hit him and knock him into the bathroom. I held my hand up and closed the door, then fell to the floor. "You are freakin awesome!" Dean said, " Hey, buddy, stay with us. We're getting out of here." "Get...the book." I said, passing out. That's the last thing I remember. The endless darkness. - - - - - - - - - - Well, if you liked it please tell me so I can start work on the next one.
