LOVE YA Chapter 25: To be the Bad Man "Are you sure this is the hospital?" Johnathan asked. "I think so." I shrugged. "So, why are we saving this..." "I don't know." I said, " I feel him. His parents are about to be murdered." "So, you and the Winchesters...a threesome?" Johnathan asked. "Hopefully, someday." I smirked, " Inside joke, just shared by..." I stopped walking as I bumped into someone. I looked up to see Sam, " Us." I said slowly. - - - - - - - - - - "What in the hell are you doing here?!" Dean asked, walking up to us. "Same to you." Johnathan said quickly. "We're here to save someone." Sam said, looking between John and I, " So, you two disappeared." "That was the plan." I said, " You guys...what's wrong with your face?" "Ghostfacers." Dean and Sam said at the same time. "Huh?" John asked. "Yeah, huh?" I asked. "It's a reality show...or was." Dean said. "A reality show? You have around two months to live." I said angrily. "Can we not discuss this." Dean growled. "Cool." I said. I stopped as I heard a low range whirring noise. I moved down the hall and through a door. Behind the door was a room full of coma patients. As I went in, the other guys stood behind me. "What?" Dean asked, looking around. "Iono. There's something...spooky." I said. All of a sudden, the patients raised up and pointed at me, " He is here!" They whispered over and over again. "That's weird." Dean said, shocked. I tried to move, but couldn't, " Can anyone else move?" I asked. "No." they all mumbled, trying to move. Suddenly, I was thrown backwards and slammed into Sam and we skidded out of the room and into the hall. I immediately looked around, trying to find who did that. I finally looked down to see Sam looking up at me, his hands on my waist. "Can you move?" Sam asked. "Like you want me to." I said, standing, " Here." I said, helping him up. "You okay?" Sam asked. "Yeah...You?" I asked. He nodded, " Whatever did that is not the run of the mill demon." "The person I'm here to save has been cursed." Sam said. "Hey, guys." Dean said, running out of the room with John. "Why are you here?" Sam asked. "To save the same person you are." John said. I looked at him quickly, " NO way!" I said. "I think whatever kicked us out is after him too." Sam said. "Well then, we've gotta save the kid." Dean said. "Baby." I said. "Whatever." Dean said, looking down the hall, " Baby's floor is on..." "Second floor." I said, meet up there." I said, sprinting away from the group. - - - - - - - - - - As I opened my eyes, the realization hit me that I was dreaming. The dream felt so real. I wiped my mouth and looked down at the open book in front of me. I looked around the hotel room and noticed that Johnathan was gone. I yawned and stood, clutching the book I was reading last night, and watching the door open and Johnathan walk in with coffee. "Hey, you're awake." Johnathan said, walking over and taking the book, " Spell, Curses, and Jinxes of good." I shrugged, " Yup, those crazy white magicians." I smiled nervously. "No curse or jinx is white magic." Johnathan said, " You pull an all nighter?" "Yeah, three days until Dean dies and I'm no closer to finding the demon who holds his contract than I am to defeating the evil bitch in my mom's body." I said nervously. "Calm down and have a coffee." Johnathan said, handing me a cup, " You need to just clear your mind." "One of my best friends, my family, is gonna die in less than a week and he's going to Hell. Actual fire and brimstone Hell!" I panicked, " I have to find something." "We will." Johnathan said. "Can you be more panicked." I said, " And..." "And?" Johnathan asked, leaning forward. "I don't know. It's a feeling." I said, confused, " Lilith. She's...after Sam and Dean." "Okay." John said. "So, the fastest route to one is the other." I said. "Or you." John said. "Right, but, Lilith is holding Dean's contract." I said quickly. "We don't know that." John sighed. "It makes sense." I said, " I need to contact Ruby." "Sam and Dean's Ruby?" John asked. "The one and only." I said, turning to get the supplies to summon her. "You say my name?" Ruby asked. I gasped, " You should wear a bell." I said, " Sam and Dean. Lilith..." Ruby smiled at me. "You knew? And you didn't tell me?" I asked, trying my hardest to refrain from slapping her. "The Book is getting to you, isn't it?" Ruby asked, " If I weren't a demon, I'd have a more emotional tone." "It's alright." I said. "Whaddya mean, the Book is getting to him?!" John asked, for the first time showing that he wasn't a piece of furniture. I turned to him, " The Book and absorbing the powers, they come at a high price, remember? Well, slowly, I might succumb to the power." I explained. "Basically absolute power corrupts absolutely." Ruby said quickly. We both threw her an angry stare. Ruby threw up her hands, " Okay, I get it, three's a crowd." she said. "Find them. Report back. I need to be with them, until the end." I said, a deep, sad tone taking my voice at the last moment. "I'll help them all I can." Ruby said softly. "Careful, I feel emotion." I smiled weakly. Ruby smirked and left. "So, be honest," John said, causing me to turn, " Are you going to become your mother?" "No." I said quickly, " I...I have to defeat her quickly, then I can..." "What?" John asked. "Witches can bind powers, but I'm not sure binding will have the full effect of..." I paused, " I might have to extract the powers." "What...take 'em all away?" John asked. I nodded. "I don't know claim to know everything, but won't that kill ya?" John asked. "Or make me stronger." I said, trying to sound upbeat. "Don't." John said with one strong syllable, " Look, we're going to destroy that thing in your mother, then we're going to save Dean." "We can't." I said sadly. "What?" John asked. "The contract can only be broken in the demon's death. Lilith is...really hard to kill. I can't break it." I said quickly, " I'm...a big brave dog. I'mma big brave dog. I'mma big brave dog." "Stop, okay." John said loudly, " Get your stuff, we're going to kick demon ass. Starting with your mother." "Right." I said, " I'm an itty bitty kitty." "You can do this." John said, " I'm a good shot and you're not shabby with your spells." "I think I have an idea." I said profoundly. "What is it?" John asked. "War." I said quickly. "Right. Come on." John said, grabbing his stuff and we left. - - - - - - - - - - A day in a half later.... A day in a half later, we were back in Oklahoma. The thing about Magic is that there are always clues and symbols and everything always happens for a reason. Everything is connected. My whole life was connected to my mother's whole life, my mother was connected to my father, who connected to me, and everything that weird ass triangle connected to the house. Where John and I stood, in front of my childhood home. "Damn house. I've been trying to kill it for years." I said as we walked into the house. The plan was simple. This house was magic, it had been forever. How else could this house keep rebuilding itself? I've destroyed it twice. Also, I had read the rest of my dad's diaries. He left clues, but nothing hit me until I read an entry that mentioned that the house had been my grandfather's, my mom's dad, and it had been passed down from generation to generation. He wrote that the walls of that house were stronger than any fist. He said that the house protects it's owners. The only problem was that I had to figure out a way to get around that, because my mother was...but I had a guess. My guess was a longshot, but it had to work. As we got settled in, I felt eyes watching me. I looked over my shoulder to see John staring at me. "And you're sure this'll work?" John asked. "Yeah." I nodded, " I hope. The thing about summoning her here is that the house is...If I don't make it out, you have to go to Sam and Dean." John nodded, " You'll make it." he said. "Things could get a little rough, you might wanna skidaddle." I said gingerly. "How many times do I have to tell you," he said, loading his guns, " I'm not going anywhere." "You're a great hunter, but if I'm going to beat mommy dearest, the darkest place I've ever been, this is so far beyond this." I said sadly, " Thank you." "For what?" John asked. "Saving me." I said, " I never thanked you or saved you, in fact, I threw you out a window." "Only after I shot you." John chuckled, " Sorry. I was wrong." I looked at him in shock, " Huh?" I asked. He smiled, " Go ahead and get it all in. You won't hear me say that again." he said. "This spell is intense." I said, " Iono if you should watch. Now we've made these little witch-be-gone packets everywhere but the upstairs. Go ahead." "Don't start without me." John said, walking to the bottom of the stairs. "Naw." I smiled watching him go upstairs. I started lighting the candles and I put my hand over the flame and brought it back to the air as a ball, " By Hephaestus, God of light, brighten my way to the Winchesters!" I said, causing the ball of fire to shoot out the window and into the sky, " Sorry, John, but you can't be a part of this." I said, concentrating on the door upstairs, slamming it shut. I had demon and witch-proofed the room and the trap was laid. I turned back to the candles and felt a gentle wind blow past me, " Hear me Gaia, bring to me the dark one, the one who dares mock everything you've sworn to uphold. Erebus, bring me your servant and Ares bath me in your strenght so I may do as you...as you...Oh goddess." I panted, " GAIA give me strength!" I shouted as I fell to the floor. There was a whirring sound and then just the sounds of heels against the floor. "Pretty powerful magicks for a novice." Mother said. I rose to my feet using magic, " Malphas, you underestimate me." I said in a deep, baritone voice. "You know my name?" the demon smirked, " Maybe a fan?" "Not even close." I said intensely. "Novice, you do not wish to go against me, not in this witch's body, in her home." the demon said, gesturing around, " You haven't the skill." "Since we spoke last," I said, levitating, " I've gone pro." "Well then, let's see what you got, kid." The demon said, trying to telekinetically push me through the wall, but I fought it! "Sorry, but I will not budge. I have more important business." I said, landing on my feet, " You see, I could fight you with my magicks, but I'd rather fight you with my brain." "Is that so?" The demon said, looking around, " Nice touch, having the place demon-proofed." "Fourteen years ago, you made the worst mistake you could ever have made." I said quickly, " You drew the battle lines." "Matarlo!" The demon shouted and I telekinetically pulled a piece of the wall in front of me, " Kill pe el ş! Ucciderlo!" she shouted in frustration. "This house protects me." I smiled, " I'm the owner. My mom's dead, I'm the sole heir to this house. I Malphas si legano, da fare danni nei confronti di altri e danni nei confronti di te stesso." I said slowly. "NO!" The Demon shouted, trying to curse me. "Yo le obligará a Malphas, de hacer dańo contra los demás y los dańos contra ti mismo." I said, my voice going lower with each different tongue I chanted in, " Já vás váží Malphas, delá z poškození proti poškození a další proti sobe!" I said. The demon tried to leave my mother's body, but I threw up my hands, " You rule a part of Hell, right? Tell Bela I said hi." "I'll tell Dean when he gets here." The demon smiled. "Gaia, cancellare questa cosa sporca dalla mia vista, e togliere questo demone della notte senza fine!" I shouted, causing the demon to combust inside of my mother's body! I ran to her, grabbing her before she hit the floor, " I'm so sorry." "I..." she panted, " I love you." I nodded, " I love you too." I smiled, tearing up, " I'm so sorry." She smiled, " Thank you." she said, raising her hand to my chest, " You can control it. It is yours now." then she slumped over. "MOM!" I shouted, trying to shake her back to life. "What the hell Cha...lis." John stopped as he saw me holding her in my lap, " Is she..." I felt the house shake and rumble and things falling off shelves and things flying around the room! Behind me, John ducked objects and tried to steady himself. I couldn't focus on anything. My heart pounded and a tear fell from my eyes and suddenly I felt arms around my shoulders. "It's not okay." he said, " But I'm here. I'm here." The shaking got more violent and I stood and grabbed John, " Let's go." I said, running from the house. Just as we got out, the house collapsed and sunk into the ground! "Where'd..." John said, shocked. "Resting." I said simply, " We have to get to a neighborhood. Today's the last day of Dean's life. I can't teleport us right now, but we need to get close enough." "Let's go." John said as we hopped in the car. - - - - - - - - - - I was too late.... "I'm sorry." John said sadly. "It was Lilith. She..." Sam explained. "Is dead." I said angrily. "It all happened so fast." Bobby added. "We need to get on this." Sam said, " Dean is..." "In Hell." I said before I could catch myself. They all looked at me slowly. I clasped my hand to my mouth, " He's in Hell." "Shut up! Shut your mouth!" Sam shouted. "We couldn't save him." I said. "We? I didn't see 'we' helping. You're too busy..." Sam's voice broke, " Trying to be Harry Potter and you come with your borrowed magicks and you say you tried!" "He's gone." I said slowly. "Shut up!" Sam shouted. "He's dead. He's not coming back and he's in..." I said, but before I could finish, Sam punched me. Sam looked at me as if he had shot me, " I'm..." he said, his voice cracking. John and Bobby stood, speechless. I began to sob, " He's in Hell." I said, one last time. Sam grabbed me into a hug as I got up and he began to sob too. - - - - - - - - - - Well, if you liked it please tell me so I can start work on the next one.
