Now, I realized that Adams was a fairly common name, but with my luck, it was him. I scrolled down and clicked his name and a profile came up. The picture that was there was of a younger man, but the likeness was remarkable. I walked over to Stan's office. "Stan, did our Mr Adams have any kids or siblings?" "What's going on Dennis?" "I started checking into the Bogda group. There's a Mr. Adams that looks a hell of a lot like our Mr. Adams." "If memory serves, there was a younger brother, but there was something........ Let me do a little checking around Dennis." "Just keep me informed please." The day wore on and it was just a little before closing when Stan finally came into my office. "I knew there was something, just took some digging to find it again. Oliver Adams is the younger brother. Seems there was a falling out over the whole thing with your dad. Oliver didn't agree at all with his brother and they split over it. Word is they haven't had a civil word in almost 13 years. I think you might well be safe with Oliver." "With my luck, this will be just the thing to draw them together again." "Hey, you pays your dime and takes your chances, Dennis." "Maybe I'll get lucky and there will be a lot of interest and I can play them off against each other." "Multiple interested parties is always a good thing. There's the bell, and it being Friday, I'm heading home." Shortly after Stan went back to his office and Patrick walked over. "Still on for tomorrow, boss?" "9 AM." "He'll be ready." I was shortly on my way home as well. When I got there, Karl was already home. "So, how was your day?" "Pretty calm, though I might have found a wrinkle." "Oh?" "The group that Stan thinks is the most likely to go for the proposal has a Mr. Adams in it. Turns out that he is the estranged brother of our Mr. Adams." "So I imagine it boils down to just what there is between them." "If Stan's information is correct, it was over the treatment of Dad." "So does that work for or against you?" "It may work slightly in my favor. Not going to count on it though. How was your day?" "Not bad at all. We got most if not all of the positions filled for Rusty Acres." "So they'll be reopening soon?" "I'd think so." At which point Mrs Ohanlon had our supper ready. After supper, we went out to the exercise room. Karl worked the weight machine while I worked out on the horse and parallel bars. We then had a quick shower and sat in front of the TV for about an hour before crashing out. The sun was up much too early on Saturday and we were up and out for our jogging with the guys. Once home and showered, changed, and fed, it was off to pick up Alex and on the road to Edgeton. Alex and I were soon enough facing Coach Mathews, but not before I had recognized a couple of faces. "Coach, you might want to tell Alex to hold back a little today. I just spotted a couple of faces that showed up at college a couple of months before the all-state." "Scouts?" "I'm thinking so." "Well, then the both of you should tone it down today." "I had every intention." Coach went to Alex and they started their workout for the day. I went and just ran my unaltered routines still leaving out the triple in the rings. When I wasn't actually doing a routine, I tried to keep an eye on those guys, and they didn't work out one bit that I could see. Coach Mathews finished with Alex and came over to me. "Going to try and do anything with those two around?" "I'm thinking not. I haven't even been doing the routines with the few suggestions that you made a couple of weeks ago." "Then if you think you've had enough of a workout you might as well hit the road." I saw that Alex was still hard at it so I worked my tumbling runs again for a bit. When I saw that Alex was ready to call it, I grabbed my stuff and we headed for the showers. Alex made it a point to stay with me today after last week. We got showered up and changed and after a drive-through lunch headed home. "So Dennis, do those scouts show up often?" "They show up kinda randomly. I just happened to recognize them from before the all-state this year. I'm betting they make visits to all of my teammate's gyms before the summer is out." "And we get the added attention because they figure My teammates will be working out here as it is the closest facility." "I wouldn't be surprised." We got Alex home and Karl and I continued on to the house. It being a nice day we hung out at the pool and soon enough Bobbie and Connie were both over. later on in the afternoon, Stan fired up their grille and we all went over there for supper. "So what are you boys going to be up to tomorrow?" "Hadn't thought that far in advance, Stan." "We promised Cam and Paul that we'd see them this summer, why not tomorrow?" At this statement, Bobbies head popped up from eating. "Sounds like a plan to me, and yes you can come to Bobbie. Connie?" "Thanks, but not this time." "Then be ready by 8 Bobbie." "I will be!" After we ate we helped get things cleaned up and then Karl and I headed back over to our house. it was a couple of hours in front of the TV before we crashed out. Bright and early on this Sunday morning and we were out for jogging with the guys. Back to the house and a quick shower and breakfast. Right at 8, Bobbie came charging through the backdoor. So, we were off to the state park and we arrived without incident. Cam was out front this morning and his face got a big smile when he saw us. Paul was busy saddling horses and had a big smile as well when we walked up. "Damn, it's good to see you guys!" "Yeah well, we told you we'd be out to see ya. How's the summer been treating you guys?" "So far so good Den. How'd your licensing exam go?" "I'm confident I did well. Should be getting my license any day now." "Good on you! So what will it be today?" "Three for the two-hour ride." "We'll have you saddled up in just a few." We were soon on our way, and as always the scenery was great. When our ride was complete we walked the horse to cool them down and were shortly on our way home. The rest of the day was spent around the pool and we had supper over at Karls's house. We caught a couple of hours of TV before Karl took my hand and led me to the bedroom. "What have you got in mind lover?" "I want to be in you tonight Den." We quickly stripped and I stretched out on the bed. Karl moved in over me and kissed me before he fed his manhood into my ass. He took his time this evening as he slowly stroked in and out of me. When I sensed he was getting close, I grabbed my stiffness and started stroking. Before very long, Karl was filling me with his essence and I pumped mine out all over my chest. Karl settled to me and we kissed for some time until we both fell asleep. Monday morning and we were at it again. Things in the office today were pretty quiet right through until the closing bell sounded. It was an uneventful drive home and after supper was quiet right up until we crashed out for the evening. Tuesday dawned a bit wet with a light rain coming down. So, it was a nice long shower this morning and we were off to work. We had all been keeping an eye on the oil market and today was saw that the price of oil per barrel was starting to come down, which was a bit of a relief for us all. Other than that, it was a fairly quiet day once again. So, I was home to Karl and an supper and another quiet night in front of the TV. Wednesday looked to be going in the same direction until about the middle of the afternoon. Stan came to my office. "Dennis, I just got an application come across my desk for a traders position." "Is that unusual?" "Not really. HR takes care of almost all of the other jobs, but folks looking to get hired in as traders come right to me." "So what's so special about this one?" "The trading license is dated as of last Monday, which means the guy took the test at the same time you did. My question is where is your license?" The afternoon mail had already been delivered and there was nothing there that even resembled my license. I quickly dialed home. "Sawyer residence." "Mrs Ohanlon, is there anything in the mail today that looks official?" "No, just the usual bill and junk mail." "Thank you Mrs Ohanlon. I should be home about the usual time. Nothing in the mail at home. Think I should put in a call to the commission?" "I'd say give it another day."
