Aiden didn't appear to think so either. "What is it Gordy? What's happened?" "I....I told my parents about us." "Oh crap! What did they do to hurt you so much?" "He...he said if I didn't stop this....nonsense...he was going to disown me. Dennis....he thinks this is your fault. I think he's going to pull his accounts." "Then he pulls his accounts. I'm sure we will survive." "No you don't understand Den. He'll start bad mouthing you all up and down the street. He'll convince his friends they should all pull their accounts as well. He could ruin your company." "He can certainly try Gordon, but I'm thinking we're stronger than that. Right now you calm down. Things will work out I'm sure." I left Gordon in Aidens arms and I headed back to my room and called Mr Bellows. "I know you wouldn't be calling me unless it was important Dennis. What now?" "How badly are we going to get hurt if Harrison Bartlett pulls his accounts and influences his friends to pull their accounts as well?" "It's going to hurt.....alot. Give me the whole story Dennis or I can't circle the wagons." "Stan, it's no real secret I'm gay I'm guessing?" "No not really." "Well Mr Bartletts son just came out to him over the weekend. He's threatened to cut the kid off and to pull all of his accounts as he is under the impression that I somehow convinced his son to be gay." "And did you?" "Not that I am aware of. I offered to advise him and nothing more." "Any deadline to Mr Barlett's ultimatum to his son?" "Not that I am currently aware of. The kid is a basket case right now. I didn't want to push him." "I can understand that." "Yeah it's hit him really hard and I don't think the fact that Gordon was homeschooled is helping the situation any. He didn't have a lot of 'social skills' when he got here." "They made the kid dependent on them. Yeah I can see where this is going to hit the kid hard, especially if the other boy is his first crush." "His first everything I'm thinking. Regardless I thought you needed a heads up before things got going in the morning." "Indeed. Thanks Dennis. I should be able to contain things to some degree. I'll try and keep you informed." "Thanks Stan. See you at Christmas time." I hung up and realized that Pete had come into the room at some point. "You just can't catch a break can you Den?" "I guess not. Not to worry I'll get through this just like I've gotten through everything so far." I slipped over to Gordons room to see if he was back here yet. Instead I found Dave. "Just a heads up Dave. Gordons is going to be pretty upset when he get's back in here." "I kinda figured as much the way he just tossed his bag in here and booked it down to Aidens. Any idea what's up?" "I do and it's not up to me to talk about it. I'm sure Gordon will tell you if he thinks you need to know. Just try to be understanding which ever way it goes." "I'll give it my best shot Dennis. I kinda like the little guy ya know?" "I do and thanks Dave." I thought about heading back down to Aidens room but thought better of it. I headed out and across the quad and over to Karls room. "What up?" "Going to need you to be extra understanding lover. Gordon came out to his parents over the weekend and his dad has threatened to disown him if he doesn't cut it off with Aiden." "Oh shit! Neither one of them is going to be fit company and with midterms only three weeks away, this could really be disasterous." "Midterms are the least of the worries. Aiden wants to quit because his mother is living in a really little apartment and wants to give his trust money to her so she can get something better. If Gordon gets disowned I'm betting there won't be any money for him to finish college. They do make a go of this neither one of them will have a way to make a decent living. It will be a downward spiral from there I'm betting. To top it all off,Mr Bartlett is threating to pull his account from the business as well as getting as many of his friends as he can to pull theirs as well. He thinks I made Gordon gay." "Jeez it doesn't rain but it pours. You call Mr Bellows?" "Just before I came over here. He's pretty sure we can survive it but he's going to circle the wagons in the morning." "Gordons dad sounds like a real jackass. I hope the business doesn't get hurt to bad for it Den." "Me too. I don't think there is any legal recourse he can take is there?" "Hell if I know. Guess you'd better call and give the lawyers a heads up in the morning and find out. Maybe have them on the lookout for Larry's dad while they're at it." "Larrys dad?" "He could file a wrongful death suit against you for all the good it would do him." "Hell any decent, reputable lawyer would take one look at the police report and tell Mr Brown to take a hike. There's no way they can pin Larrys death on me." "I don't think so either lover, but I still wouldn't put it past him to try. There's bound to be an ambulance chaser out there who would take the case just to get the fee." "Yeah I suppose so. Well I'd better get back over there in case the guys need me for anything even if it's only moral support." I gave Karl his good night kiss seeing as he roomie wasn't there and went back over to my room. I didn't see either of the guys and 11 came along with Karls text and emojis. I answered him back and turned out my lights. I didn't fall asleep for sometime though. It all had me worried for my friends. 5:45 and I rolled out and got my jogging stuff on and headed out. Neither Gordon or Aiden were in the hall so I went down stairs to see if they were outside waiting. They weren't so I gave them a few minutes until I saw Karl standing over by his dorm. I took off and Karl fell into step along side me. "Did they say anything last night?" "Didn't lay eyes on them after I saw you." "I don't like the feel of this Den." "Me neither. I just hope they had a bad night and decided not to run today." I completed my laps and headed upstairs to grab my shower and get ready for classes. About the time I was getting out of the shower Aiden and Gordon showed up and it was pretty obvious it had been a rough night for them both. Their eyes were puffy from crying and they were really dragging. They didn't even acknowledge that I was there. I wasn't about to push either of them and went and got dressed for the day and down to some breakfast. Soon enough they were both there as were Karl,Pete, Dave and Angus. Gordon and Aiden just looked at us all as this particular group hadn't been together before that I could remember. "I think I'm speaking for everybody when I say we just want to be here for you guys." There was a general nodding of heads. "Thanks guys I know that means a lot to Gordon and I. We'll find a way around this. We've got at least until the end of term to find a solution." "Yeah it's to late for any refunds so we're going to stick it out, though I don't guess I'll be getting and spending money like I was." "Don't worry about it Gordon. We'll keep you covered." "I appreciate it guys, but I can't ask you to do that." "You didn't ask, and we're not cutting you out of the group just because of a little money. You're going to need us more than ever I think. Now eat up and let's get to class. We've got 3 weeks until midterms." Gordon and I were soon on our way to Intro to Business. We got ourselves seated and waited for class to begin. When Mr McEmbers walked in The memory of his naked body beside me in bed just popped into my head. I quickly relived every moment of our time together, from the feel of his hands along my body to the girth of his cock as it penetrated me. I quickly got my mind back on the class, but he must have seen something on my face as he was giving me a bit of a strange look. He didn't call me out or anything and class proceeded as normal. On my way out I had to stop and explain myself. "I remembered and that isn't for public knowledge please." "I'm glad your memory is coming back Dennis and I think I understand. Nobody will ever hear it from me." I headed out to my next class which was with Aiden. "You holding up ok?" "Yeah I think so, it's just going to be a long day after last night." "Hopefully tonight will be a bit better. You guys can't let this get to you right now." Ethics was soon enough over and Aiden was off to whatever class he had. I found a quiet place and made a call to Mr Jacobs and filled him in on both situations. "Well Dennis, Mr Bartlett doesn't have anything actionable against you that I can see. Mr Brown can certainly try and file suit, but from what you've told me there isn't a lawyer worth his salt that will take the case. We'll prepare just in case, but I'm thinking that there won't anything come of it in either case." "Thank you Mr Jacobs. If anything happens on this end I'll let you know." "Same here Dennis." Soon enough it was time for accounting and Aiden and Gordon were together. We were at the back of the room as always and I think I was the only one who noticed that they were holding hands as if the other would float way if they didn't. Eventually class was over. "Ok guys you only have to get through one more today. You can do this." "I hope to hell we can. Thanks for standing by us Dennis." "Always, now get." I decided to call Stan Bellows to see just how bad things had gone today, even though there were still a couple of hours of trading time. I ended up getting Mrs Daniels at the front desk. "Mrs Daniels? It's Dennis Sawyer. How bad is it?" "Mr Sawyer, Mr Bellows is paddling just as fast as he can with both hands. He hasn't had 5 minutes to think since we opened this morning." "Just leave him a message to call me when he can please. He has my number."
