"Jaiden, you are a million miles away; would you like to talk about it?" "It's nothing that we haven't talked about before, Peyton. I have never been a fan of Meghan Markle, and I blame her for causing Harry to resign as a working royal. Her Majesty the Queen asked Harry and Meghan and their children to visit with her at Balmoral, and Harry declined because he had a political event involving Meghan. When he married her, he began withdrawing as a royal until he packed his bags and moved to Los Angeles, where everything was and is always about her."

"I think she is a narcissistic personality, and Harry doing what Meghan wanted to do cost him the last memory of spending time with his grandmother; she died the next week. He didn't even get to go to Balmoral to be with his grandmother as she lay dying, and you could see the pain of the realization he could have been with Her Majesty the Queen." "Why do you think that, Jaiden?"

"Well, for one, a narcissistic personality involves a person with a sense of entitlement. There was a point when Harry told his grandmother what Meghan wanted Meghan got. The Queen quickly told Harry, "Oh, no, she doesn't, and she didn't get to wear the Queen's jewelry to the planned event. If she didn't have that sense of entitlement, why would Harry say what he did to his grandmother, knowing she was the person who controlled who wore any crown jewels? Narcissistic people get upset when they don't get their way. Today's newspaper story said she and Harry were furious that their children didn't receive royal titles when Prince Charles became King. How could she have even expected that, knowing that she and Harry resigned from their royal duties and thus knocked their children out of any expectations they would have had before their mom and dad abdicated their royal duties? How, for Pete's sake?" "Jaiden, I have no answer for that, and I don't think anybody ever will."

"Peyton, I don't see how either of those former working royals could even think or believe they deserved royal treatment after resigning and high-tailing it to the United States. And yet, when things became negative for them and their two children, that wasn't supposed to happen in Meghan's eyes, much less Harry's. What has happened is not a personal slight against them; it is a direct result of their behaviors; it's crazy."

When I see Meghan and Harry attending an event in the UK, he looks miserable, and Meghan looks as if she thinks she should be admired. Harry and Meghan seem to believe they deserve special recognition because of who they are, yet they don't do anything to earn special credit. Quite the contrary, interviews on stateside television, books about to be published, and stories that have already hit the media have blasphemed against the royal family. Which of those two former working royals had resentments grow so large that those resentments consumed them entirely? Meghan? Harry? Or both. Her Majesty the Queen did what she had to do when her grandchildren decided to forsake their duties. It's sad, and it makes you want to slap some sense into Harry and Meghan. You have to admit Meghan is a dramatist."

"Jaiden, do you think Meghan has let her ego get the best of her – and Harry?" "Peyton, I can't help but believe that. She seems to be the one in that marriage to have the superiority complex."

"I have wondered if Meghan has real empathy for anyone other than herself. When she rubbed Harry's hand as they were viewing the flowers left at Buckingham Palace, was that for show, or was it a staged reaction to make it seem there was more care and concern than exists? It would be nice for me to see her place herself in someone else's shoes for once and have true empathy; just once for me. It is also a royal perspective, a royal sense of pride and duty, not an event that should cater to their personal expectations. Hollywood is a fantasy world, but so is being a working royal helping the needy and less fortunate, and it can't be a fantasy world if the view and perspective are toward duty rather than self."

"I understand, love." "And you know, when Harry's children didn't get royal titles, and Meghan and Harry reportedly became furious about that, it seems the rest of the royal family were somewhat demeaned and, in some way, bullied with them going for intimidation trying to get what they wanted. It was sad to me that the new king made it plain that Harry's wife was not welcome to be at Balmoral with him in the process of his grandmother dying. It was and still is gut-wrenching to see how that is hurting Harry. If the royal family can't forgive and love Harry, how do they expect Hashem to forgive them of anything? Nothing in their lives will ever be perfect – not for them or anybody else; that's life in living color."

"If Meghan and Harry want validation of their marriage and Meghan's ideals, they need to understand and respect where they came from." "Now that I agree with Jaiden. Many people have a sense of superiority when they can't deal with and try to cover up where they came from. And what they don't realize is how fake they come across when they act that way. Sometimes I wonder if Meghan is scared of the royal lifestyle and the duties it requires, and I again ask myself if that fear is born out of truth or laziness. Either way, truth or laziness makes people more vulnerable than they want to be, so they tuck their heads between their legs and haul ass across the country. Her Majesty the Queen was a wonderful person, a beautiful lady, and a caring mother and grandmother who shouldn't have had to add to the miseries of her life in recent years, much less have Harry resign from his royal duties and move to the US."

"Love, as I see it, a bunch of pontificated bovine fecal matter is about to hit the fan. King Charles has already angered many Brits by making his staff at Clarence House redundant during the middle of the Queen's homegoing - rather than waiting and letting emotions calm down. I agree with those Brits who are angry; Charles was wrong to do what he did to his staff when they had been working around the clock to ensure everything went as planned. I lost a tremendous amount of respect for Charles when he did that. The only olive branches I have seen since 08 September have come from William and Kate. He is an amazing man for what he has on his shoulders, and she is a truly amazing young lady."

"What do we need to do to get your mind off what has upset you?' "Peyton, it's simply going to take some time, and there will have to be concessions on the part of many in the royal family. For someone who is seventy-one years old, Charles needs to learn to put his toothpaste on his toothbrush himself, stop demanding that his shoelaces be ironed, wash his own skid-marked underwear, be gracious and non-demanding when visiting friends, and develop his palate as most adults have." "Jaiden, do you think you may be a little bit harsh in your opinions of history in the making in the UK?" "Perhaps, but I feel Her Majesty hasn't gotten the respect and adulation she deserves in death. People will wake up one day and realize what a true treasure this world has lost. God save the Queen!"

"Jaiden, the boys are in bed; Charley, Dale, and their children are in bed, and we are here naked as jay birds in our bed, so how about if I snuggle up to you, lay my head on your chest, and you hold me?" "Sweetheart, that sounds like a utopian dream to me; come here." Jaiden pulled Peyton on top of him, Peyton's legs between Jaiden's, his body tightly against his husband's, and his head resting under Jaiden's chin, allowing Jaiden to take in the scent of the one person he loves more than life its self; and that is how the two love birds fell asleep."

The following day, Jaiden was unusually quiet. He said very little to Peyton and their children and said nothing to Dale and Charley before he walked out the door and drove to his office. When Peyton, Richard, and Peter got to the office, Jaiden was in the office he shared with Peyton, the door closed, watching the Queen's funeral. Peyton knew how much Jaiden loved and respected Her Majesty after he met and talked to her when he was a young child. His eyes were red and moist, and his mood somber.

Peyton walked into their office, closed the door behind him, and, as Jaiden's mother would do, looked at Jaiden and said, "Sweetheart, talk to me." "Peyton, what do you want me to say? That the Queen is dead, that they are having her funeral; that her family continues to bicker on the second most important day of their lives; that there is a large amount of unforgiveness in that family? How about if I say Her Majesty the Queen died of a broken heart? Phillip, the love of her life, went before her and left her virtually alone in Buckingham Palace. People are still broaching issues and theories on the death of Princess Diana, who rightly should be the Queen with Charles. She also had her heart broken over Prince Andrew's dalliances with the rich American pedophile."

"One other thing I am having trouble passing over is that Charles, to me, is mistreating Meghan the same way she acts – with a bend toward narcissism. It takes me back to the old idiom of don't throw rocks at glass houses if you live in a glass house. The new King expresses love on the one hand and rebuke on the other. Don't make the old American saying, white man speaks with forked tongue, truer than ever. People can say what they want; they can have and voice their ideas and thoughts, but what they think doesn't necessarily validate their thoughts and feelings."

"I will say this about Her Majesty the Queen: she had more class on the tip of her fingernail than Charles and his brothers will ever have. When it came to loving her grand and great-grandchildren, she loved them with the force of a roaring lioness. Her motives and behavior were always ethical, above board, and truthful; she pulled no punches. When World War II was in full force, she didn't duck tail and run to hide; she wore an Army uniform, got to work with other women in Britain, and repaired army trucks. That certainly doesn't sound like something a sovereign would do in most instances; she was a gutsy woman for whom I had and still have the utmost respect."

That commercial that just aired on the television saying so and so was the most beautiful woman in the world; poppycock! Her Majesty was as a little girl, as a teenager, as a young adult, as an aged lady, and as the world's most beloved monarch, the most beautiful woman– outside of my mom. That smile she had could bring joy where there was sadness. Her lowered brow when Princess Diana died showed she was hurting as badly as Prince William and Prince Harry. But she had a job to do, and she did it well! She kept the faith; she served the kingdom's people; and abhorred arrogance, bigotry, and fakeness in people."

"Many people think it was ridiculous how the Queen's death and the funeral were covered, but I don't. It was epic; it was historic and unexpected. Most Statesmen don't believe in the monarchy, yet they worship Donald Trump as if he were a god; and on the same token, Joe Biden as if he were a Pharoah; neither are! I don't believe Hashem intends for there ever to be another Queen Elizabeth; the mold was retired with her. And no, Nancy Pelosi is not as honorable as the Queen; she will never be seen as ethical and above board as was the Queen. Look at the district that elected her to Congress and behold the massive homelessness, the tent cities, and the illnesses among the homeless who can't afford the simplest medications to ward off sickness. No! No way! Nancy Pelosi will never be the woman Her Majesty Queen Elisabeth was; you're not and never will be the loving, ethical, caring kind of woman the Queen was."

"Now, I have said my peace on the subject. In Jewish tradition, I will not repeat her name; I will think of it as a blessing and keep her in my memory and heart. Long Live the blessed memory of the Queen."

Let's get to work; patients are waiting." With that, Jaiden headed out the door to see his first patient and start a long and arduous day. At dinner, he would take the ten children, three nephews, and all the parents to the Country Club for a private, quiet dinner.

Andrew was beside himself that night when everyone got to the Country Club. He had never seen much less eaten in such a grand dining hall. When he saw the food, he didn't know what to say or do because he had never seen or tasted many of the foods served. He gorged himself on the broccoli and cheese casserole, ate Mexican-style corn like a kid eating candy, chomped down on the grilled asparagus, and ate the strawberry and pecan fruit adorned salad like he hadn't eaten in a month. If it was a new food to Andrew, he tried it and enjoyed it. At the end of the dinner, as everyone was getting ready to go home, Andrew went to Jaiden and Peyton, hugged them, and thanked them for the dinner they provided.

When Richard, Sally, Andrew, and the boys got home, Andrew went into the den and asked, "Mom, will you please help me to write Uncle Jaiden and Uncle Peyton a thank you note for taking us to dinner tonight?" "I surely will, Andrew; get one of the thank you cards on the desk in the office and meet me at the breakfast table. Andrew retrieved the card as his mother instructed and took it to the breakfast table. Sally looked at the card and was impressed with Andrew's choice of cards.

"How do I start the thank you note, Mom? "Andrew, write today's date in the top right-hand corner." Andrew did that, and Sally then told him to start the note by writing Dear Uncles Peyton and Jaiden. Then Sally asked Andrew what he wanted to say to his uncles. Andrew told his mom what he would like to say, and she told him to write his feelings on the card. Andrew did that. "Now, Andrew, you need to write a closure at the end of your note, something like Love Andrew. And that is how Andrew ended his thank you note to his uncles.

When Andrew had finished his card, addressed the envelope, sealed it, and put a stamp on it, he said he would leave it in the mailbox the next day. As he finished getting his card ready to mail, Andrew looked at Sally and said, "Mom, I'm going to take my bath and then go to bed so you and Dad can have some time together." Sally was taken aback by what Andrew said and told him she would tuck him into bed after his bath.

Andrew finished his bath and let his mom know he was going to bed. She went to his room, where he was lying on his stomach, ready to sleep. Sally sat on the edge of the bed, tucked the covers around Andrew, and then said, "Son, I am so proud of you for thinking of writing your uncles a thank you note for dinner tonight; it was very thoughtful of you to do that. Most children your age wouldn't have thought of that." Then Sally leaned over, kissed her son on the cheek, and told him she loved him to Mars and back.

Sally walked to the door, turned out the light, and as she started to walk out of Andrew's room, he said, "Mom, I love you too, and I always will." When Sally walked to the den where Richard was, tears coursed down her face. Richard asked Sally what was wrong, and she said, "Nothing!" "Then why the tears, babe?" "Richard, as I walked out of Andrew's room, he stopped me and said, "Mom, I love you - and I always will. That's the first time he has done that, and it got me in my heart." "Wow, Sally! He is such a good boy; he needed someone to love him and give him a fighting chance."

Richard rose from the couch, walked to Andrew's room, knocked on his son's door, and entered the room when Andrew said to come in. Richard walked to and sat on the side of Andrew's bed and said, "Son, you made your mom very happy a minute ago. She loves you more than anything, and so do I. I just wanted to tell you that and tell you how proud I am of you."

"Dad, I was a little scared when you walked into the room. Before with my old dad, him coming in my room meant I was going to get a bad whipping." "Andrew, I told you that wasn't going to happen here, and it isn't; that is not something you will ever have to worry about again." That said, Richard leaned over, kissed his son on the cheek and forehead, and said, "Andrew, I love you, and I always will!" "A tear escaped Andrew's eyes and Richard's, too, when he saw his son's reaction to being told he was loved.

When Richard returned to the den to spend some quiet time with Sally, she noticed his eyes were red and moist. "Andrew got you too, didn't he, Love." "Yep, right in the heart with Cupid's arrow. Now I know how Mom and Dad felt when they adopted us, especially with Seth in Alabama. Richard started crying, and Sally held him and let him get his feelings out of his system. "Richard, there is no doubt that Hashem made this happen for a reason, and I am so grateful he did." "Me too, Babe, me too."

When Richard composed himself, Sally took him by the hand and led him to their bedroom. She helped him undress, and he did likewise. Sally pushed her husband onto the bed and then lay next to him. She pulled Richard to her and softly kissed his lips, his face, and the hot spots on his neck. They both were aroused and enjoyed an hour's worth of foreplay when Sally asked her husband to make love to her. Their amorous adventures lasted for quite a while before Richard got out of bed and got a warm washcloth for Sally to clean herself. When that task was done and Richard had washed himself, he snuggled up to Sally, pulled her as close to his chest as he could, and they fell asleep in each other's arms.

The following day, Sally awoke to prepare breakfast for the children. When breakfast was almost ready, she went to the baby's room and was about the change their diapers when Andrew said, "Mom, you were busy in the kitchen, so I cleaned my brothers with a warm washcloth and changed their diapers. I'll help get them to the breakfast table so we can eat before I catch the bus for school." "Andrew, you don't want me to take you to school?" "That's OK, Mom; you're busy getting breakfast and my brothers up for the day in the mornings. I would love it if you could pick me up after school." "Deal! I'll see you in the usual spot after school."

The family sat at the table, and as Andrew began eating his waffle, he told his mom it was the best he'd ever had - not to mention it was the first waffle he'd ever had. "Mom, what kind of pancake is this?" "Andrew, it's a waffle; you haven't ever had one before?" "No, mam. This sauce on the waffle, what is it?" "It is Hawaiian syrup. Haven't you tried syrup before?" "No, mam; It is perfect. I have had bacon before, but it wasn't as good as yours." "It's what you call premium bacon, son, and it comes from an old southern company near your granny's and grandpa's." "It sure is good, Mom."

Sally took the babies and met Richard, Jaiden, Peyton, and Peter for lunch at the hospital. It was a relaxing time for everyone and a great time of conversation. Peyton asked Richard why he was in such a relaxed, happy, somber mood that day, and Richard recounted what had happened the night before when Andrew went to bed – on his own without being told. The guys were amazed at Richard's story that a young boy could be so thoughtful toward his parents – especially parents he hadn't known that long.

"Peyton, when I went to get the babies up and changed so they could eat breakfast, Andrew had beaten me to the task and had bathed them off with a warm washcloth and changed their diapers." "Richard said, "he did what!" "Just what I said, Richard." "Guys, that boy is unbelievably amazing. He takes on chores without being asked or told to do something, helps Sally keep the house cleaned, and entertains his brothers in the afternoon so Sally can get a little rest." Jaiden asked, "Richard, would you say you got a one-in-a-million keeper?" "Jaiden, my son goes way beyond that; he is an amazing little boy." Peyton said, "that he is, Richard, that he is!"

Sally picked Andrew up at school, and he told her they'd had a study hall that day, and he got his homework done. "Mom, would you check my homework to make sure I did it OK?" "Sweetheart, I'll do that when we get home and go inside the house. That's exactly what Sally did.

"Andrew, you did a good job on your homework; everything is correct. Do you have any papers I need to look at and sign?" "Yes, mam, here they are." Sally looked at the papers and counted off: 100, 100, 100, 100, 100. "Andrew, you didn't miss anything on these tests. I am proud of you, and your dad will be, too, when he sees these papers and your grades. We'll have to do something to celebrate."

Richard called home when he had a break, and Sally told him about the test scores Andrew had brought home. When he got home for the evening after doing rounds at the hospital, he pulled some money out of his pocket, handed it to Andrew, and said, "Uncle Peyton and Uncle Jaiden said to give this to you." Andrew looked at the $10.00 bills and looked up at Richard with a wide-open mouth; he couldn't say anything. He was so surprised. "Son, your uncles said they told you they'd give you $10.00 for every A you got in school. You got five As, so they sent you $50.00 to get whatever you wanted."

That night, Andrew wrote yet another thank you note to his uncles. Then he asked his dad if they could go to the mall Saturday after synagogue services. Richard told Andrew they could and they would. He didn't say what he wanted; it would surprise his parents.

Saturday morning, when the family got to the synagogue for worship services, Andrew surprised his parents by giving the temple $10 of his grade reward. After lunch, when they went to the mall, he asked his parents to wait outside the store while he went inside to get a couple of things he wanted. When he exited the store, he had two toys for his brothers, little recorders that played ten different children's songs.

When Sally saw what Andrew had purchased, she stood there with her mouth agape. "Son, why didn't you get something you wanted?" "I did, mom; I wanted my brothers to have these toys. I saw them a while back and thought Robert and Peyton would enjoy them." "But that money was for you, Andrew." "I know, mom, so I got what I wanted. Robert, Peyton, and I can play with these toys while you do something for yourself; you are always doing something for us." If Sally or Richard tried to say another word, they would cry their eyes out in the middle of the mall.

That night, Richard's mom called to see how Andrew was doing and if he needed anything. Richard and Sally told her everything that had happened that week, and she was shocked that her new grandson would be so thoughtful after all he had been through in the past couple of months.

"Richard, Sally, would you mind if I fly up for a week or two; I'd like to take Andrew shopping my way?" "That would be great, Mom. I won't tell Peyton, Leon, or Andrew so you can come to the office and surprise them when you get here." "Great, guys, I'll fly out of Mobile on Friday morning. As soon as I know the flight, I'll call and let you know." "That'll be great, Mom; see you Friday.

When Sally and Richard hung up the phone after their conversation with his mom, Richard's cell phone rang. When Richard answered his phone, it was Peyton calling. "Richard, can you put your phone on its speaker so I can talk to you and Sally, please?" "We're on speakerphone, Peyton."

"Guys, when Jaiden and I got home earlier this evening, we got something unexpected in the mail." Sally asked, "What was it, Peyton?" "A thank you note from Andrew. You two didn't have to get him to do that." "We didn't tell or ask him to do that, Peyton; he asked Sally to help him write it." "Are you kidding me, Richard?" "Nope, I'm not; we were as surprised as you are now when he asked Sally to help him write that note. And believe it or not, it is entirely his own words; we didn't suggest anything for him to say." "Wow! Unbelievable for someone his age to do this on his own."

"Richard, have you been doubling down teaching him stuff?" "Not at all, Jaiden; the boy is simply amazing and more loving than any parent could ever hope for." "That's awesome, Richard." "Not only did he do that, when Sally went to get the boys up this morning, to change their diapers so they could eat breakfast, Andrew had already done that and told Sally he wanted to help because she was always so busy in the morning getting everybody up and preparing breakfast."

"And the night before, he took his bath without being asked and went to bed so, as he put it, Sally and I could have some quiet time to relax together. Sally tucked him into bed, and when she got to the door to turn off the light and close his door, he stopped her and said, "Mom, I love you, and I always will." I went to his room to tell him I love and am proud of him; he said the same thing to me before I exited his room. Talk about getting the tears to run. That was one of the happiest moments ever for Sally and me." "That's awesome, guys. He is for you two what Seth was and is for Mom and Dad. I used to be their favorite, but now, you can hang that idea on a coat hook going out the door; Seth is now numero uno. It's neat to see that because Mom and Dad seem to look and feel younger than they have in a long time. I see a vitality in them that has been missing for years. Ask Jenny. She'll tell you."

"I'll do that when we talk with her." "Guys, I didn't mean to take up so much of your time; I just wanted to let you know we got the thank you card and how proud we were of Andrew for thinking to do that. See you at the office tomorrow."
