"Hey,
Peyton, did you and Jaiden talk with your parents about the trip?" "We did, and as soon as we get the dates down
pat, they are all raring to go. Jenny
and her family may join us. Her husband,
as you know, is an orthodox rabbi in Oregon, and he would love to see where
Jaiden's grandfathers were rabbis in Europe.
We'd also like to attend a service in the synagogue in the UK." "Awesome, bro-in-law; Leon and I have also
spoken of doing that."
"Peyton,
what is one of the first things you'd like to do in the UK?" "Peter, I am dying to try their fish and
chips and to let the children try them.
I think they'll go hog-wild over the British version of fish and
chips." "Get real, Peyton; those kids go
wild over anything they can put into their mouths, chew, and swallow." "You do know my boys well, Peter."
"The boys
love Leon beyond measure, and I can't wait to see them interact with their
uncle and have fun in the UK. They still
ask about going back to North Carolina and camping in the basement of the house
and seeing the wild animals." "You
haven't told me that' we'll have to plan a trip down there, or you, Jaiden,
Dale, and Charley can take all the children down there and have a good
time. Leon and I researched things to do
with children in Brevard, and there are over 70 different attractions for
children in the area. I think the
children would love to play in some of the waterfalls that have opened up in
that area since we came to Erie."
"Peter, I think we'd all love to play in the waterfalls and swim in the
tidal pools below them." "Yeah, Leon and
I also talked about doing that too. He'd
have a blast playing with the children and letting the waterfall splash on
their heads as long as the water wasn't too forceful."
"After we do
the UK, let's plan for that!" "Deal,
bro. I'll tell Leon you said that." Suddenly Peyton and Peter heard, "Tell Leon
what!" "They recognized the voice, and
Leon was standing right behind them when they turned around."
"Hey, Babe,
when did you get here?" "Just now. I wanted to see where my office will be and
think about some things I'd like to do in the space." "Uh, what if some things have already been
done to surprise you?" "That's OK, but
I'd still like to see the office."
When Leon
walked into his new office, it had been beautifully decorated by a local
interior designer and was stunning. He
covered his mouth with his hand and sat down as tears cascaded down his
face. "Guys, when did y'all do
this?" Peyton said, "Leon, we have been
working on this project for several months.
There is still some electronic equipment to be installed, and they will
install a window in the door, so there is no chance someone can accuse you of
something false. Safety is always
paramount in a medical office, and we make sure we are all protected as much as
possible. And by the way, as with
Jaiden, Richard, Peter, and me, the hospital will pick up your malpractice
insurance and supply you with all the journals you will need to keep current on
your profession."
"Guys, are
you kidding me?" "Not at all, Leon. We want to make the transition from college
into the professional world as painless and uneventful as possible for you." `But y'all have already done so much for me...I
mean..." "Leon, you are my brother,
Richard's brother, Seth's brother, and Jenny's brother; you're family, and we
will ensure our family members have what they need to be as successful as
possible. And as for having done so much
already, we don't see ourselves as having done as much as we can to help you,
especially given that you have more than earned anything you have received from
the family or anybody else for that matter."
"Peyton, I don't know what to say!"
"Then don't say anything and be happy with the career you are about to
launch. Think of all the children you
will help avoid the pitfalls you tripped over in your early life. Think about
how you now have parents and siblings who will love you no matter what, not to
mention your nephews and niece." Leon
said nothing as he buried his face in his hands and sobbed.
Peyton
exited the office and closed the door leaving Peter inside to console his
husband.
Peyton
walked to the front office to kill some time while he could, to have a cup of
coffee, and to talk to the ladies and see how things were going for them. Jaiden was in surgery and should be free by
lunchtime, after which the office would become very busy. Richard was making morning rounds, and Peter
was doing his best to console Leon. At
noon, everyone would meet in the hospital's doctor's cafeteria.
"Dr. Peyton,
the surgical nurse just called, and Dr. Jaiden should complete the procedure he
is doing around 11:30. She'll tell him
to join you in the doctor's lounge in the cafeteria. She said everything was going extremely
well." "Thanks, Ashley."
"Sir, may I
ask you a question?" "You may, but it
doesn't mean I'll answer it." Ashley and
Peyton smiled.
"I heard a
commotion in the back of the office a few minutes ago; is everything OK. It sounded like someone was very upset." "Not upset, Ashley, very happy. Leon came from a very hard background and had
an incredibly abusive father who killed his biological mother. Jaiden and I hired a private investigator to
find Leon's mother for him, and that's how we found out she had been killed in
eastern Tennessee. The detective got
much information which he covered with Leon, Jaiden, and me. Leon looked like a deer in headlights at a
revelation made by the investigator and realized the murderer police were
looking for in Tennessee was his father.
We contacted the Judge over Leon's case in Memphis, gave him the
information we had, and he called the Sheriff in Tennessee with whom he had
previously worked to prosecute a western-Tennessee case. Within an hour, a Judge in eastern Tennessee
signed a warrant for premeditated murder for the arrest of Leon's biological
father."
"The warrant
was forwarded to the Judge in Memphis, and thirty minutes later, Leon's
biological father was in jail waiting on a private jet pilot to get to the
Memphis airport. The Memphis Judge had
called someone he knew, told him what was transpiring, and got a commitment to
have Leon's father in jail in Johnson County, Tennessee, before the hour was
up. Forty-five minutes later, the jet landed
in eastern Tennessee, and Leon's father was jailed there and had a preliminary
hearing the next morning at nine."
"We were
shocked when the Judge from Memphis walked into the Johnson County courtroom
along with the Memphis District Attorney.
People who knew and hated Leon were learning that it wasn't Leon they
were mad at or with; it was the abuse he suffered that made him act and behave
the way he did. Even my parents flew up
to attend his bio-donor's preliminary hearing, and my dad laughed like hell
when Richard put Leon's bio-dad's shoulder back in place, and he screamed like
the biggest sissy in Tennessee. Mom was
laughing so hard she almost had to leave the courtroom; she probably would have
walked outside if the judge wasn't laughing harder and louder than she
was." "OMG, Dr. Peyton, we had no
idea. Nobody would have ever guessed
that - he has always acted so happy and carefree." Ashley, Richard, Seth, and Leon are the best
thing to ever happen for my family; we are so much closer because of those
three. I promise you one thing: when he
graduates from Penn State and moves into his office here, you will truly enjoy
working with him. I dare say he has the
biggest heart of anyone outside Jaiden, Richard, and our parents."
"Mr.
Guilford, Mrs. Guilford, may I speak with you briefly? I got the cancer out of Tommy's leg, and all
margins were clear according to pathology.
We checked his lymph nodes near the tumor, and they were also clear, so
his cancer didn't spread. I am ambivalent about ordering chemo or radiation, so
before anything of that nature is ordered, I'd like to talk with my spouse and
my brothers-in-law, whom I practice with, to get their opinions; if the
consensus is that we should do some chemo and or radiation, then we'll do
that. I'll let you know before Tommy is
discharged in a few days." "That is good
news, Dr. Reynolds; thank you so much!"
"You are very welcome; I am thrilled the news was good in Tommy's case."
Jaiden cleaned
up from Tommy's surgery and walked to the hospital's cafeteria. "Hello, guys; the
surgery went well, and all indications are that all the cancer was removed from
Tommy's leg. I'd like y'all to look at
the reports and the scans to see if you would order a round of chemo and or
radiation at this juncture. Based on
what I saw and removed, I am not inclined to order either at this point, but I
would still like your opinions." Richard
said, "Jaiden, are the scans in the computer records?" "They are; I ensured that before I left
surgery." "Good; we'll examine them as
soon as we return to the office."
"Peyton, since
Leon is not here yet, did y'all get a time ironed out for the UK trip?" "Yes, we'll fly out of Erie on June third,
the day after graduation. The flight
will take approximately ten hours barring any problems or delays. We have reservations at the Holiday Inn
through IGH's direct booking, and everything is paid for, including Leon's trip
and surprise party when we get there."
Jaiden said, "great! Leon is
walking through the door right now, so we should stop talking about the trip in
front of him." Peter replied, "Good
idea; there is going to be a surprise nobody knows about except Leon and me
that everyone will find out about on graduation day." "And that would be, Peter?" "None of your business right now; I don't
want to spoil his surprise for you and your parents." Jaiden said, "Leon, you know well that I am
worse than a curious cat when there is something I want to know about and
don't!" Peter said, "Damn, it's gonna be
fun keeping this secret from you, Jaiden!"
Peyton was leaning back in his chair, dying laughing because he
knows that Jaiden will bust a gut to find out what the surprise will be,
knowing full well he'll never find out before Leon is ready."
"Jaiden
Riley-Reynolds, when did you stop standing when a lady enters a room and walks
up to your table?" "MOM! When did you get here?" "About an hour ago. I had to wait on my luggage to be unloaded
from the plane." "Why didn't you call
and tell me you were coming?" "Son, I
didn't call to ask your permission to visit because I had no intention of
taking a chance you'd say no." "Well, that's one way of ensuring you have a
room to stay in." "Yes, I know; isn't
that sneaky of me?" "Very, mom. How long do you plan on being here?" "Oh, I'm here permanently, son; I closed the
office and retired!" "Oh, God, no!"
"You're
sufficiently irked, aren't you, Jaiden."
"How could you ever tell, Mom?"
"It's the look, Jaiden, and the tears in your eyes. Now that you're sufficiently pissed off, my
dear son, I'll tell you the truth: I
will be here for two weeks to spend some time with my grandchildren so you,
Peyton, Dale, and Charley can have a quiet weekend to yourselves to enjoy some
downtime." Jaiden didn't say a word as
he exited his seat and hugged his mom."
"Mom, somehow, you always know."
"Jaiden, you know I'm a nosy Jewish Mom and have my ways of finding out
what you need and when you need it; besides, been there and done that with your
dad, remember?"
Peggy asked,
"Now, how is everyone doing?" Peyton
replied, "Mom, we couldn't be doing better."
Peter added, "Jaiden's patient is cancer free after his surgery this
morning, and we're all planning for everyone's graduations on June third." "Peter, that is good news; Leon can hit the
ground running and get ready to get his doctorate." "Leon is already running! We have his office ready for him to start work
after we return from England." "Peter,
that is going to be so exciting to watch; if Jim and Phyllis hadn't adopted
Leon, I would have; Jaiden needs some competition." Jaiden cut his eyes toward his mom as if to
say, "no, hell, I don't."
Everyone
finished their lunch and returned to their office – with Jaiden's mom in
tow. The guys examined the lab reports
and scans of Tommy's leg before and after surgery, and the consensus of
everyone was to wait before beginning any chemo or radiation. The reports were too clean to warrant any
further aggressive treatments.
"Son, if
y'all don't mind, I'm going to head on to the house, get my things put away,
and spend some time playing with my grandchildren." "That's fine, Mom; the ice cream is in the
big freezer in the garage, and the key is hanging high next to the door inside
the kitchen. Please don't spoil the
children too much." "Yeah, right! I'm their grandma, and that is my right and
privilege." "Oh my, I was afraid you'd
say that."
Jaiden's mom
got to the house, walked inside, and yelled, "Hey, kids, grandma is here!" She didn't hear a sound from the children,
and they didn't come running to see her.
She felt let down until she looked outside to see the grands playing
hard in the backyard. She walked outside
and said, "Hey, kids, guess who's here?"
That is when all the children ran to her as fast as their little legs
could. And wouldn't you know it, the
first thing out of Nathan Robert's mouth was, "gamma, can we have some ice
cream?" "Sorry, Nathan, Daddy said to
wait until after dinner to eat some ice cream."
Ginny got up and hugged Peggy, and welcomed her to Erie.
"Jaiden
didn't say to wait until after dinner for ice cream, did he?" "No, but I don't want to spoil the children's
dinner and risk upsetting my boys." "I
understand. Jaiden is helping the
children to learn to earn the good things in life, and the children are doing
well in that regard." "Earn things in
what way, Ginny?" "They make their beds,
put their dirty clothes in the hamper, take a shower in the evening without
argument, and do the chores they need to learn to do." "That's mean of Jaiden to do that so
early." "Yeah, I thought so, too. You know, Peggy, we thought Jaiden was a
really good child, but I swear, I think these children have him beat. The dads are incredibly good with my babies." "Well, Ginny, you were an amazing
teacher!" "So were you, Peggy!"
During the
weekend, Peggy would take her sons and their children to the mall to purchase
some things they would need for their trip to the UK: new sneakers, jeans,
shorts, bathing suits, and the proverbial underwear that fits well. Everything is planned to a tee for the
upcoming trip, and everyone is beyond excited.
When the
guys got home, Peggy gave Jaiden, Peyton, Dale, and Charley room keys to the
Hilton on the Bay and told them their dinner would be served on the veranda
promptly at seven and that they needed to head out for their weekend of
relaxation. After dinner, there will be
a sunset cruise in the bay. Then, they
will return to the Hilton for a late-night dessert and coffee. Jaiden is just like her, he has to have an
evening coffee to relax fully; she trained him well.
"Jaiden,
what are you guys going to do tonight?"
"I'll just say if you see lightning bolts emanating from under the door,
don't knock." "That's funny, I was going
to say the same thing. All four of us
need some together time without worrying about interruptions." "Yeah, we do; we've all worked long and hard
and deserve that, if nothing else."
That said, the guys retired to their respective rooms – on different
floors."
Jaiden and
Peyton immediately undressed, started a movie on the television, and crawled
under the sheets. Then he pulled Peyton
to him and began tenderly kissing his lips and around his neck. Slowly, he moved down Peyton's body, teasing
his nipples, aggravating the ticklish spots on his stomach, tonguing his belly
button, and finally descending on his phallus, causing Peyton to moan in
ecstasy. Jaiden took his time making
sure Peyton could enjoy his treat, which he had done without for a short while
due to both being too tired after work.
Jaiden edged Peyton over and over until Peyton couldn't hold back
anymore as his body tensed and unloaded a mother load
of sweet cream, which Jaiden collected and lovingly swallowed. Then he got the massage oil Peyton likes and
gave his husband a slow and methodical massage – front and back.
When he told
Peyton to turn over onto his stomach, he started the massage at Peyton's feet
and moved up his legs until he reached the beautiful, untanned mound sitting
perfectly in the middle of his husband's body.
He purposely avoided touching Peyton's gluteals and went from Peyton's
waist to the top of his neck. When that
part of the massage was completed, Jaiden moved back down to Peyton's fanny and
slowly massaged the oil into it – and also into the crevasse of Peyton's
backside. When Peyton least expected it,
Jaiden slipped a finger inside his husband and then two and began massaging his
husband's sphincter muscle, preparing it for a home run.
When Peyton
sufficiently relaxed his sphincter, Jaiden slowly entered his husband and made
slow sweet love to him, which Peyton thoroughly enjoyed by the coos he let out. When Jaiden was fully spent, he went into the
bath and drew a warm tub of water - into which he placed his husband after
cleaning him. For the better part of an
hour, he rubbed Peyton's neck, back, and stomach regions - until he noticed
Peyton had fallen asleep. He began
letting the water out of the tub as he reached up and got a warm towel to dry
his husband's body. Afterward, he
carried Peyton back to the bed, gently lay him in his spot, and then crawled
into the bed and snuggled Peyton until they both fell peacefully asleep.
The next
morning, they arose to a knock on the door from the concierge bringing them
breakfast in bed. Peyton wondered aloud
if Dale and Charley were getting the same service, and Jaiden said, "count on
it" - his mother never fails to surprise everybody. After finishing their breakfast, Jaiden
pulled Peyton back under the bed covers and spooned him until almost noon, when
they had to get up and dress for lunch.
They met
Charley and Dale on the veranda for a special lunch of grilled steak and
asparagus with creamed potatoes and coffee.
A long walk on the beach after lunch proved ultra relaxing to the guys
since they weren't having to watch and protect the children. They found an empty bench where they sat and
daydreamed the afternoon away.
After
dinner, they walked around the wharf and relaxed like they hadn't in a long
time. They enjoyed watching the
fishermen bring in their catch and the cruise ships leaving for their weekend
cruises. Jaiden opined that they needed
to cruise one weekend when they had someone to watch the children again. Peyton suggested it would be fun to take the
children on the cruise until Jaiden asked, "When Nathan and Chuck jump over the
side of the ship to take a swim, do you want to be the one to jump into the
lake to save them?" "Peyton looked at
Jaiden, Dale, and Charley and said, "I agree, without the children!" which drew
a hearty laugh from everyone.
When the
guys returned to the hotel, they decided to watch the movie Heartstopper
from beginning to end. When the kissing
scene occurred between Charley Spring and Nick Conner, Jaiden squeezed Peyton's
shoulder and leaned in to kiss his husband.
When the scene occurred where Nick and Charley told their friends they
were a couple, Peyton asked, "Sweetheart, do you remember when we did that with
our families and got the same response as Nick and Charley?" "Yes, I do; and your dad then scared the hell
out of me by asking me what the hell I thought I was doing before he told me to
unpack my things in your room, that since he knew we were sleeping together at
school, he saw no reason to change our arrangement at home."
"True, love,
and you were as white as a sheet, and when I opened the nightstand drawer and
condoms and lube were nicely placed inside, you blushed more than any beautiful
rose I had ever seen." "You were a bit
red-faced as well, sweetheart." Peyton
giggled at that comment and tickled Charley and Dale.
"Peyton, did
your dad really do that?" "Dale, that
isn't all he did; he knocked on the door before he went to bed to tell us the
`supplies' were in the drawer and to have a good time using them." "Tell me you two didn't." "I wish I could, Charley, but the truth
is: we did!" "Damn, bro, how'd you two courageously do
that knowing your dad knew what you were doing in his house?" "I don't know, Charley, we just did; besides,
he was probably having a good time in their bedroom knowing we were having a
good time in ours." "Damn, that's kind
of sick." "No, Charley, it was kinda
horny, and we handled the problem."
`Geez! That's so wild."
The next
night, I didn't feel very well, and Jaiden held me in the swing on the back
deck. Before we realized it, we fell asleep,
and the next morning, Mom awoke and went to the kitchen to fix breakfast; she
saw Jaiden still holding me as he was doing when she went to bed and then cried
her eyes out – with Jenny doing the same.
She told Jenny that Jaiden really loved me to do that. We awoke around 10:30 that morning, and I
freaked because we had slept so long, and when I tried to apologize to Mom, she
told me to hush, that she hadn't seen anything that loving in a long time;
that's when Jenny started crying again – and so did Jaiden. Mom held Jaiden and rubbed his back until he
calmed down. That is when we realized
that we truly had our parent's blessing."
"Damn, talk
about a love story!" "Yeah, it always
has been the movie Love Story."
Peyton
looked at Jaiden and said, "Babe, let's head to the room and get under the
covers; it's your turn to be loved beyond imagination." When Peyton said that, he looked at Charley,
and it was evident that the idea sat well with him because Charley had a huge,
raging erection that appeared to be bursting through his shorts, and Dale had
the same.
When they
got to their room, Peyton undressed Jaiden going down on him as his pants hit
the floor. He slowly backed Jaiden onto
the bed without breaking his stride.
Like Jaiden the night before, Peyton made it last. He edged Jaiden repeatedly until he could
hold back no more and released everything he had into Peyton. Peyton then entered the bathroom, drew a warm
bath, and led Jaiden to it. Everything
Jaiden had done for Peyton the night before was returned in kind. Then Peyton led Jaiden back to their bed,
gave him a sensual massage, and turned him onto his stomach as Jaiden had done
to him - and prepared his sweetheart the same way he'd been prepped the night
before.
Peyton very
slowly entered Jaiden and made love to him for nearly an hour before they both
climaxed. Peyton cleaned Jaiden and then
snuggled with him for the rest of the night.
The next morning, they got up for breakfast and met Dale and Charley on
the veranda. Charley looked at Peyton,
winked, and said, "thank you. It was an
amazing night."
They talked
about what they had to do on Monday morning, and Jaiden reminded them that he
and Peyton had to be in court at 9 am.
Jaiden said he'd go a bit early to talk to Don about the case before
everyone met in the courtroom.
When they
got home, Jaiden's mom asked him what he and the guys had planned for the week,
and when Jaiden said, "first thing on Monday morning, Peyton and I have to be
in court and explained why; his mother decided she would go with them to see
her son in action against a child abuser.
Monday
morning rolled around, and Jaiden and Peyton met with Don in his chambers,
showed him the x-rays and the radiologist's report, and outlined how the boy
had been tortured by his father. When
the court convened, Don was beyond furious and hope that the piece of crap
would challenge Jaiden and Peyton because he fully intended to let Jaiden and
Peyton defend themselves.
After the
District Attorney outlined the case, Don asked Jaiden if the DA had said
matched his diagnosis. Jaiden said he
matched the diagnosis beautifully and added that the boy had literally been
tortured for a long time.
"Dr.
Riley-Reynolds, you may speak very freely in answering what the court is about
to ask you: "Have you formed an opinion about this boy's incredibly abusive
father?" "I have, your Honor." "And, Dr. Riley-Reynolds, what would your
opinion be?" "Your Honor, the man
standing before you today is nothing more than an incredibly cowardly piece of
shit. He can certainly abuse a small boy
such as his son, but when it comes to challenging someone who can possibly beat
the hell out of him, he is a yellow-spined, gutless coward."
What Jaiden
said infuriated the boy's dad to the point that he lunged at Jaiden. That was his first mistake. Jaiden landed a punch to his jaw and
shattered it into small pieces, thus knocking the man on his ass. When the man tried to get up and again swing
at Jaiden, Jaiden shattered his other jaw.
When the man's lawyer protested,, Judge Stanislauski reminded him that
the man attacked Jaiden and that Jaiden had a right to defend himself. The lawyer didn't say another word, and he
knew better than to challenge Judge Stanislauski over what had happened. Somebody tried that before, and the judicial
ethics board sided with Don and reprimanded the lawyer for not controlling his
client.
As the man
walked by what appeared to be a slovenly, dirty street person, the street
person uttered something that made the man lunge at him as well. That's when the Judge asked the street person
if he was OK. The man replied, "I'm OK,
Judge, but that man thinks he can beat me up just because I don't have nice clothes
and live on the street." "Sir, are you saying you'd like to give the defendant
a chance to challenge you in the exercise yard." "Judge, if he ain't too scared to try, I
ain't too scared to let him - if he's that dumb." The man flew into a rage and told the street
person he'd love to meet him in the exercise yard and beat the hell out of him.
The Judge
instructed the bailiff and the Sheriff's deputies to take the two men to the
exercise yard and let them fight it out.
When they
got to the exercise yard and were turned loose on each other, that old street
bum proceeded to annihilate the child abuser by dislocating his shoulder,
popping his left kneecap, and hyper-extending the man's right arm, thus totally
disabling him. The man finally wised up
and decided to keep his mouth shut and his temper controlled before someone
else challenged him and killed him.
Jaiden,
Peyton, and his mom went to their office so they could change into their clinic
attire and get to work. Ashley looked at
Jaiden and asked, "Doc, what happened to your hands?" "Oh, Ashley, this child abuser in court
decided he wanted to be an idiot and lunge at me, and when he did, I fractured
his jaw in so many pieces with one punch that it will take a month of surgeries
to repair it. Then the idiot tried to
lunge at me again, and I hit him with the other hand and fractured his left jaw
just as badly as the right."
"And if that
wasn't enough, a street person was in court and said something to the man as he
was walking out of the courtroom, and he attacked the street person. The judge had the deputies take both men to
the exercise yard when the man again attacked the street person, the bum broke
his collar bone, hyper-extended his right elbow, breaking it rather badly, and to
top things off, the bum popped the man's knee cap knocking it to the back of
his leg. Oh, by the way, Peyton, did you
hurt yourself doing all that?"
Dr. Peyton,
you didn't!' "The hell I didn't, Ashley;
I enjoyed every second of doing that.
And by the way, you don't know I was the street person in the courtroom,
understand?" "Yes, sir; CLEARLY!" The entire office was about to roll on the
floor, laughing their butts off.
